- 0:02Every project looks simple [music] when
- 0:03it's finished.
- 0:05>> Before that, there are failures, broken
- 0:06ideas, and questions. We ask a simple
- 0:10question. Why should something as basic
- 0:11as sitting still be so difficult? Today,
- 0:13[music]
- 0:14>> every day we sit for hours coding,
- 0:17studying, designing, and scrolling. At
- 0:20first, [music] it feels normal, but
- 0:22slowly the pain starts to build.
- 0:26And the worst part, we don't even notice
- 0:28our posture getting bad.
- 0:30>> Bad posture doesn't give bonics. It
- 0:32doesn't show inside damage.
- 0:34>> And the existing solutions, they're
- 0:36uncomfortable. They're restrictive. And
- 0:37most people stop using them after a few
- 0:39days.
- 0:40>> We wanted to build a system that teaches
- 0:42posture naturally.
- 0:43>> We wanted to build a system that teaches
- 0:45posture naturally.
- 0:46>> That system is poster.
- 0:48>> We started with basic ideas, simple
- 0:50sensor test, and uncomfortable early
- 0:52models.
- 0:54We failed, we redesigned and we rebuilt.
- 0:57>> Today we have reached this stage. App is
- 0:59fully functional. PCB is fabricated and
- 1:01ready for assembly. Components sourced
- 1:03globally. Compliance research completed.
- 1:05Design patent research done. 3D CAD
- 1:07model completed. Website developed and
- 1:09packaging designed.
- 1:10>> This is the brain of post studies.
- 1:18>> A custom PCB processes posted data in
- 1:20real time using a high precision sensor.
- 1:22This is the body. Economically designed
- 1:24for comfort so users can wear them for
- 1:26long durations.
- 1:26>> And this is the heart of our user
- 1:28interface.
- 1:29>> Our device continuously monitors posture
- 1:31and alerts the user to sudden vibration
- 1:33in case the poor posture persists for a
- 1:35long time.
- 1:36>> Is designed not to scare you, not to
- 1:37shame you, but to gently guide you.
- 1:39>> When we visited the market, we saw two
- 1:41types of product.
- 1:41>> One poster beds. They force your body
- 1:43into position.
- 1:44>> Two other smart bars. They cost almost
- 1:46three times as compared to our solution.
- 1:48>> Post studies is different. Others focus
- 1:51on forcing posture. We focus on building
- 1:53habits.
- 1:54>> Others improve poster momentarily, but
- 1:56they are designed to treat muscle memory
- 1:58for lasting effect.
- 1:58>> A PCB is already fabricated. Our next
- 2:01step is full assembly
- 2:03>> followed by real world testing with
- 2:04users.
- 2:06>> Then pilot programs in schools, colleges
- 2:08and workplace.
- 2:09>> Then refinement, certification and
- 2:10scheme.
- 2:11>> We don't see this as just a prototype.
- 2:13>> We see this as a future of how people
- 2:15sit, work and live. We are building
- 2:18posteries.
