1:13:57been looking at over the last few weeks,
1:14:00emotionology.
1:14:02And today we're going to be focusing on
1:14:04a topic I've entitled soul ties.
1:14:08Everyone say soul ties.
1:14:10Now in the first service
1:14:13I I touched on it and I'll continue from
1:14:16where I left off but also emphasizing on
1:14:19a few other things that I feel led to
1:14:21say.
1:14:23And the essence of what we were trying
1:14:25to discover in the morning was that the
1:14:30reason why we behave and do and act the
1:14:34way we do is because our souls are tied
1:14:40to certain things.
1:14:42Our souls are tied to a foundation
1:14:45either that is directly connected to God
1:14:48or unfortunately connected in some way,
1:14:51shape or form to the enemy.
1:14:54And I said that
1:14:57how we know that your soul is connected
1:15:02in the wrong sense is through your
1:15:05character. In fact, we know it that your
1:15:09soul is a direct reflection of your
1:15:13spiritual investment.
1:15:15The strength of your spirit can only be
1:15:18determined by how well your spirit
1:15:21influences and impacts your soul. So I
1:15:24saying that in all our quest to be
1:15:27spiritual men and women, let's not
1:15:30forget that the aim of us being
1:15:32spiritual is not that we just become
1:15:35spiritual people and it just affects our
1:15:37spirit but we must be holistically
1:15:39spiritual and that is it affecting not
1:15:42just our spirit but our soul and
1:15:44therefore our body. So when your spirit
1:15:47is effective, it must reflect in your
1:15:49soul. And when your soul is healthy, it
1:15:53reflects in your character. Everyone say
1:15:54character.
1:15:56>> I said that your character is your
1:15:58outward expression of your inward soul.
1:16:02And I don't need to spend so long with
1:16:04you to know the contents of your soul.
1:16:07All I need to do is hear your words. For
1:16:09the scripture says that out of the
1:16:11abundance of the heart, the mouth.
1:16:15So if the mouth is speaking from the
1:16:17contents of the heart, it means that
1:16:19everything you say is a weighing
1:16:21mechanism to tell me what is really in
1:16:23your heart.
1:16:25So your character is something that we
1:16:28must ensure goes through the process of
1:16:30reformation
1:16:32so that we don't begin to close certain
1:16:34doors that God intended for us to walk
1:16:36through. I said that in the morning when
1:16:39it comes to the giftings of God,
1:16:42there are plenty. There are many.
1:16:46NOWADAYS, WE FIND SO MANY PEOPLE gifted
1:16:49to do various things THAT IT'S NO LONGER
1:16:52EVEN SOMETHING WE should be surprised
1:16:54about.
1:16:55WHEN WE SEE PEOPLE PROPHESYING and you
1:16:58know releasing revelation upon
1:17:00revelation, when we see people having
1:17:02ENCOUNTERS
1:17:04OF VARIOUS FORMS AND SORTS, visions and
1:17:07dreams, this is becoming very normal in
1:17:10our day.
1:17:12I said that the scripture says in
1:17:13Proverbs 18:16 that your gift
1:17:18will make room for you. IT WILL OPEN
1:17:19DOORS for you. It will bring you before
1:17:21great men.
1:17:23But the problem with this is that if our
1:17:25gift is bringing us into a place of
1:17:30prominence because we are such a gifted
1:17:32generation, it means that many people
1:17:35are at the door. And if many people are
1:17:38at the door, then there needs to be a
1:17:40distinguishing factor between you and
1:17:43the other gifted people. What is that
1:17:46distinguishing factor? That
1:17:47distinguishing factor must be the
1:17:48quality of your soul.
1:17:52So I said that there is a tug of war
1:17:54that is going on between the kingdom of
1:17:58darkness and the kingdom of light for
1:18:00your soul. The devil wants your soul.
1:18:03God wants your soul. God wants your soul
1:18:05for THIS VERY REASON. GOD WANTS YOUR
1:18:07soul so that your soul can begin to
1:18:10reflect his nature.
1:18:12God wants your soul so much so that when
1:18:14people see you, they see him.
1:18:17That's why your soul must be conditioned
1:18:20to reflect God and the things of the
1:18:22spirit. The devil wants your soul so
1:18:25that you CAN BEGIN TO REFLECT HIS
1:18:27NATURE. IT IS A BATTLE OF WHOSE NATURE
1:18:30CAN BE REFLECTED upon the EARTH BECAUSE
1:18:33DEPENDING on whose nature is reflected
1:18:35determines on which direction mankind
1:18:38goes towards. Are we here?
1:18:41If you REFLECT THE NATURE OF DARKNESS,
1:18:43it means that men all across the world
1:18:45will be seeing you from the perspective
1:18:48of the dark world. So that they will now
1:18:51be going towards that direction. IF YOU
1:18:53REFLECT GOD, YOU ARE NOW PORTRAYING HIS
1:18:55LIGHT.
1:18:57And if you are portraying his light, YOU
1:19:00ARE NOW CAUSING MEN TO COME TO THE
1:19:02SAVING KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST. I don't know
1:19:04about YOU, BUT MY DESIRE IS TO BE SO
1:19:07FULL OF GOD THAT MY SOUL HAS NO option
1:19:10but to reflect God and only God.
1:19:16>> I want to GET TO THE POINT WHERE
1:19:18EVERYTHING ABOUT ME REFLECTS GOD. THERE
1:19:21WAS ONE DAY I was working. I used to
1:19:24work in wolfam store and I was working
1:19:27one day and I said to myself I don't
1:19:30want to go to this workplace and be the
1:19:34preacher man
1:19:36because where I was coming from the
1:19:37workplace I used to come from.
1:19:40Every day I will preach the gospel.
1:19:43Every single day no matter who you are
1:19:46big, small, short to toe, black or
1:19:48white, I will give you the gospel. It
1:19:51became what I was known for. People
1:19:53would either come to me or run away from
1:19:55me because they knew I was coming to
1:19:58give them. So I would give them. But
1:19:59this new workplace, I said to myself,
1:20:01let let me let me let me relax a little
1:20:03bit. Let me calm down because this new
1:20:07workplace, I wear suits and diet. So let
1:20:10me let me not let me not show myself TOO
1:20:12MUCH. SO I was just doing my normal
1:20:14work. Then after SOME FOUR OR FIVE
1:20:17MONTHS, THE COLLEAGUE I WAS WORKING WITH
1:20:19CAME TO ME QUIETLY and she said to me,
1:20:21"Henry,
1:20:23are you a Christian?"
1:20:25I said, "I am." Why'd you ask? Do you
1:20:28know what she said to me? She said,
1:20:29"Because I can smell it on you."
1:20:34Someone just do a quick smell check to
1:20:36your neighbor. Smell them quickly. Smell
1:20:37them. Smell them.
1:20:45NOW TELL ME, WHAT DOES YOUR NEIGHBOR
1:20:46SMELL LIKE?
1:20:54>> I I know it's summer time. So this is
1:20:56the this is the season where you don't
1:20:58experiment on deodorant.
1:21:04This is the season you you you use what
1:21:06you know.
1:21:09But the ESSENCE IS THAT WE ARE MEANT TO
1:21:11SMELL LIKE CHRIST.
1:21:14WE ARE NOT JUST MEANT TO PREACH HIM WITH
1:21:16OUR MOUTH, BUT WE'RE MEANT TO BE THE
1:21:19BIBLE THE unbeliever doesn't read.
1:21:23In fact, WE'RE ALSO MEANT TO be the
1:21:25extension of a believer's Bible study.
1:21:31So to the unbeliever who doesn't read
1:21:32the Bible, you are meant to be the Bible
1:21:34who doesn't read. TO THE BELIEVER THAT
1:21:35reads the Bible, you're meant to be the
1:21:36extension of his Bible study. SO AFTER
1:21:39HE CLOSES HIS BIBLE AND GOES TO work and
1:21:41sees you, YOU MUST BE THE CONTINUATION
1:21:44of Acts chapter 4. Oh, I don't know if

1:21:49SO WHEN YOU ARE WALKING YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
1:21:51BUSINESS, DON'T THINK THAT YOUR
1:21:53CHARACTER IS GOING UNNOTICED.
1:21:57Everything about you is being recorded.
1:22:02Does the scripture say that God will
1:22:03even judge us for every word that comes
1:22:05from our mouth?
1:22:08I don't think God is the only ONE THAT
1:22:10CAN JUDGE. READ YOUR BIBLE very
1:22:11carefully. We can also judge. We just
1:22:13must do it very correctly.
1:22:15SO GOD IS JUDGING YOU. MAN IS ALSO
1:22:17JUDGING YOU. AND WE ARE JUDGING YOU NOT
1:22:20BECAUSE OF THE CONTENT OF YOUR HEART
1:22:21BECAUSE WE CAN'T SEE IT. BUT WE ARE
1:22:23SEEING THE OVERFLOW OF YOUR soul through

1:23:12THE INTERVIEW, NOT KNOWING that the man

1:23:16is the manager of the job she's applying
1:23:17for.
1:23:21You thought that your QUALIFICATIONS WAS
1:23:22ENOUGH NOT KNOWING that somebody has
1:23:24already spied your life.
1:23:30Somebody has already seen
1:23:33THE CONTENTS OF YOUR HEART THROUGH YOUR
1:23:34CHARACTER AND THEY'VE ALREADY MADE THEIR
1:23:36PERCEPTION.
1:23:39I said in the first service, this is why
1:23:40some people will never will never be
1:23:42will never marry. They will be single
1:23:43for a very long time
1:23:45because you thought that
1:23:48your husband
1:23:49you've not met him yet. No, knowing that
1:23:51he has seen you through somebody else
1:23:56BECAUSE WISDOM TELLS ME BEFORE I
1:23:58APPROACH THE GIRL, LET ME GO AND GET my
1:23:59facts.
1:24:01Wisdom tells me before I let THE GUY

1:25:02The the NLT SAYS THAT WHAT IS MORE
1:25:04VALUABLE
1:25:06THAN THE SOUL OF WHAT IS WORTH MORE?
1:25:08THIS IS HOW GOD sees
1:25:11the price of your soul. One day someone
1:25:14said that but the church is not a
1:25:15business. I said go read your Bible very
1:25:17well. Luke 2:49 he said that you don't
1:25:19know that I'm about MY FATHER'S

1:26:15SOUL, DON'T think that because you're in
1:26:17church, he will leave you alone. I said

1:26:40HE ENTICES YOU TO COME. WHAT HE DOES? HE
1:26:42USES THE SAME STRATEGY THAT DELILAH used
1:26:44on Samson.
1:26:47Enticement.
1:26:49What does he entice YOU WITH? HE ENTICES
1:26:52YOU WITH YOUR personal needs because the
1:26:56end goal is for you to get to THE POINT
1:26:58WHERE YOU BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP HIM
1:27:00because whatever you worship, you have
1:27:02submitted your soul to.
1:27:04So in Matthew chapter 4 FROM VERSE 8,
1:27:06THE BIBLE SAYS THAT JESUS WAS TAKEN TO A
1:27:09VERY HIGH PLACE AND HE WAS SHOWN THE
1:27:11KINGDOMS OF THE world
1:27:14and the devil SAID TO HIM, "BOW DOWN SO
1:27:16THAT I CAN GIVE IT TO YOU." WHAT THE
1:27:17DEVIL WANTED in exchange for the goods
1:27:20was Jesus's soul. BECAUSE IF I COULD GET
1:27:23JESUS'S SOUL, I don't just get his soul,
1:27:25I get his destiny plan.
1:27:28If the devil captures your soul,
1:27:30understand this, he's not just got you.
1:27:32He's got your children yet unborn.
1:27:36Oh, say in the name of Jesus.
1:27:38>> Come on, say it like you mean it. Say in
1:27:39the name of Jesus name,
1:27:41>> say I declare and I decree
1:27:44>> THAT MY SOUL
1:27:45>> MY SOUL
1:27:46>> is not for the devil's use.
1:27:52>> So he uses the strategy of enticement.
1:27:54Everyone say enticement
1:27:56>> so that you can get to the place WHERE
1:27:58YOU EVENTUALLY BOW. BUT BEFORE YOU BOW,
1:28:03his enticement strategy begins
1:28:06in verse four. He says that Jesus turned
1:28:09this bread turn this stone into bread.
1:28:13And the reason why he told him to turn
1:28:16the stone to bread IS BECAUSE JESUS HAD
1:28:19MADE HIM understand something. Jesus
1:28:21said to himself THAT I HAVE FASTED 40
1:28:24days and now I am very hungry. THE BIBLE
1:28:28SAYS THAT he became extremely hungry.
1:28:32YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL THAT THE LEVEL of
1:28:35desperation that you show
1:28:37is not being taken advantage of by the
1:28:40dark world. Because I said that
1:28:42desperation is a language in the spirit.
1:28:44YOU CAN BE DESPERATE, GOD WILL HEAR IT.
1:28:46The devil also hears it. So you CAN SAY,
1:28:48"I'M VERY HUNGRY." AND YOU THINK GOD IS
1:28:50ABOUT TO GIVE YOU FOOD, NOT KNOWING THAT
1:28:52THE DEVIL has already prepared a plate.
1:28:55So your desperation IS AN ENTICEMENT
1:28:58STRATEGY TO BRING YOU into a soul tie
1:29:00with the enemy.
1:29:03WHEN YOU HAVE A NEED, MAKE SURE YOU
1:29:05SUBMIT THAT NEED UNDER THE spirit of
1:29:06God. WHEN YOU HAVE A NEED, MAKE SURE
1:29:09THAT NEED IS ALIGNED WITH GOD'S WILL.
1:29:12BECAUSE NOT EVERY NEED OF MAN IS A NEED
1:29:15a man should have.
1:29:17And if you HAVE A NEED THAT IS NOT
1:29:19ALIGNED TO GOD'S WILL, IT CAN BE GOOD
1:29:21BUT not God. AND IF YOU HAVE A NEED
1:29:23THAT'S NOT ALIGNED TO God's will, the
1:29:25enemy will take advantage of that need
1:29:27and present you something you think is
1:29:28for your benefit, but it's for your
1:29:30destruction.
1:29:33So Jesus said, "I'm extremely hungry.
1:29:35I'm very hungry." The devil said, "Okay,
1:29:37I've got something for you." But Jesus
1:29:39being the man we love and serve, he was
1:29:42able to combat the enemy, but it was the
1:29:44enemy's enticement strategy to get him
1:29:47in.
1:29:50I want to introduce to you
1:29:53in the second service another strategy
1:29:56that the enemy uses
1:29:59to get your soul into a tie with him.
1:30:06Are we here? Say, "Jesus,
1:30:09>> I love you."
1:30:10>> Come on, shout it like you mean. Say,
1:30:11"Jesus,
1:30:12>> Jesus,
1:30:13>> shout it louder than your neighbor. Say,
1:30:14Jesus,
1:30:15>> Jesus,
1:30:15>> I love you."
1:30:16>> I love you.
1:30:18Okay.
1:30:25So the strategy or another strategy he
1:30:29uses
1:30:31is what I call the contamination of
1:30:35soils.
1:30:39The contamination of soils.
1:30:44When we read the book of Matthew chapter
1:30:4513, the Bible says
1:30:47that when men slept, the enemy came and
1:30:50said and sold tears
1:30:52amongst the wheat.
1:30:55In other words, what the enemy wanted to
1:30:57do is that he wanted to tie negativity
1:31:01to the seed that was already planted.
1:31:04He wanted there TO BE A NEGATIVE SOUL
1:31:06TIE so that what was produced from the
1:31:08field would not glorify God. I want you
1:31:11to liken your soul to a seed.
1:31:17And the plan of the enemy IS TO SOW
1:31:19TEARS ON YOUR SOUL SO THAT YOUR SOUL
1:31:24DOES NOT PRODUCE A GOOD CHARACTER.
1:31:28SO IF YOUR SOUL IS A SEED,
1:31:32the issue might not even JUST BE YOUR
1:31:34SOUL. IT WOULD IT WILL BE WHAT is
1:31:37connected to what your soul is on.
1:31:41What type of soil is your soul connected
1:31:45to? And the ENEMY HAS A PERFECT WAY OF
1:31:48CONTAMINATING soils so that our soul
1:31:51does not produce good fruit. So start
1:31:53from the verse number one for me please.
1:31:56We're going to look at something.
1:32:00On the same day Jesus went out of the
1:32:04house and sat by the sea. Verse two.
1:32:07And great multitudes were gathered
1:32:08together to him, SO THAT HE GOT INTO A
1:32:11boat and sat. AND THE WHOLE multitude
1:32:12stood on the shore.
1:32:15Then he spoke many things to them in
1:32:17parables, saying, "Behold, a swer went
1:32:20out to sow."
1:32:22Now understand that the swer is not a
1:32:24problem because the swer in this context
1:32:27is God. He's the one that sws the seed.
1:32:30The seed is you. The seed is YOUR SOUL.
1:32:34SO GOD HAS NOW SOLD YOU onto a soil. But
1:32:39we KNOW THAT THE EARTH belongs to the
1:32:40Lord, the fullness thereof, the word and
1:32:42they THAT DWELL THEREIN. BUT THE ENEMY
1:32:45has managed TO CONTAMINATE WHAT WAS
1:32:48God's possession.
1:32:51Because as you may or may not know, the
1:32:54earth that we live on should not be the
1:32:56way it is.
1:32:58Do we agree?
1:33:00What has happened? It means that when
1:33:02men slept
1:33:04an enemy has sw tears amongst the soil.
1:33:09This is his strate strategy is a
1:33:12strategy of contamination. All right,
1:33:14let's continue verse verse four.
1:33:19AND AS HE SOWED, SOME seed fell by the
1:33:23wayside. Everyone say
1:33:26and the birds came and devoured them.
1:33:31SO THE FIRST TYPE of
1:33:34soil we have is called the wayside.
1:33:38Let's run through the different types of
1:33:39soils and I'll come back to the first
1:33:41one.
1:33:44Next verse.
1:33:49Some fell on stony places. Everyone say
1:33:51stony places
1:33:53where they did not have much earth and
1:33:55they immediately sprang up because they
1:33:56had no death of earth. Next verse.
1:33:59But when the sun was up, they were
1:34:02scorched. And because they had no root,
1:34:04they withered away,
1:34:07and some fell on thorns. Everyone say
1:34:09thorns.
1:34:11And the thorns sprang up and choked
1:34:13them. So this IS THE THIRD TYPE OF
1:34:15NEGATIVE SOIL that the enemy has
1:34:17contaminated. So there's number one, the
1:34:19wayside. Everyone say
1:34:21>> number two, stony place. Say stony
1:34:23place. And number three, thorns. Says
1:34:25thorns.
1:34:27Now by revelation THE LORD OPENED MY
1:34:29EYES TO SEE WHAT TYPE OF IMPACT
1:34:32this type of soil has on the soul.
1:34:36So when we talk about WAYSIDE
1:34:39WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT IS A SOUL that
1:34:41has landed on the soil of abandonment
1:34:44and rejection.
1:34:50There's a soul THAT WHETHER BY YOUR OWN
1:34:54FAULT or not,
1:34:57WHETHER WILLINGLY OR UNWILLINGLY, MOST
1:34:59OF THE TIME is as A RESULT OF THE
1:35:01FAMILIES THAT we were born into.
1:35:04THE SOUL LANDS IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT IS
1:35:08NOT CONDUCIVE TO PRODUCE good fruit.
1:35:11AND ONE OF THOSE SOILS IS CALLED THE
1:35:13WAYSIDE. THIS IS THE PRODUCT OF A MAN
1:35:16WHO HAS BEEN ABANDONED AND REJECTED. AND
1:35:18I'LL BE HONEST WITH YOU, MANY OF US HAVE
1:35:20FOUND OURSELVES in this place. I
1:35:21included.
1:35:25THE SECOND TYPE OF SOIL IS A STONY
1:35:27PLACE.
1:35:29And when WE TALK ABOUT STONY PLACES, WE
1:35:31ARE TALKING ABOUT INSTABILITY AND
1:35:33DYSFUNCTION,
1:35:37INSTABLE HOMES, DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILIES.
1:35:40THIS IS WHERE MOST OF US CAME FROM. OUR
1:35:43SOUL LANDED ON THIS TYPE OF SOIL.
1:35:48THEN WE HAVE THE THIRD TYPE OF SOIL THAT
1:35:50THE ENEMY HAS CONTAMINATED AND IT'S
1:35:52CALLED THORNS. And this type of soil IS
1:35:56AS A RESULT of pain
1:35:59and hurt.
1:36:02Pain and hurt.
1:36:07And these are the type of soils many of
1:36:10us, if not all, have had to come out of.
1:36:14And we are still in the process of
1:36:16coming out.
1:36:18And you will come out.
1:36:20>> Oh, I don't like the way you are saying
1:36:21amen. I said and you will come out.
1:36:24>> Or do you like the soil that you are on?
1:36:28So when we talk about the wayside, we're
1:36:30talking about abandonment and rejection.
1:36:33We're talking about
1:36:36not even being in a home where you've
1:36:38heard the phrase I LOVE YOU BEFORE. I
1:36:39CAN BE HONEST WITH YOU. I'VE NOT EVEN
1:36:41HEARD, I DID NOT even hear, let me say
1:36:42like this, the phrase, I'm proud of you.
1:36:46It didn't come into my ears.
1:36:49This is a form of rejection and
1:36:51abandonment.
1:36:52There are some OF US, ESPECIALLY THAT WE
1:36:55HAVE SIBLINGS. YOUR PARENTS CAN CALL
1:36:57YOUR NAME, BUT BEFORE CALLING YOUR NAME,
1:36:59they've called everybody else's name in
1:37:00the house.
1:37:03And all OF THIS IS A SIGN that
1:37:06maybe I'm not loved the way I think I
1:37:08am.
1:37:10Some of you might have even SIBLING
1:37:13ISSUES WHERE ONE IS FAVORED OVER THE
1:37:15OTHER.
1:37:17THIS HAS CAUSED MANY OF US TO GROW UP IN
1:37:20SOILS
1:37:21THAT HAVE CAUSED US TO FEEL REJECTED AND
1:37:23ABANDONED AND IT'S AFFECTED OUR OUTCOME
1:37:26IN our character.
1:37:31STONY PLACES, INSTABILITY,
1:37:34DYSFUNCTION, THINGS WERE A CERTAIN WAY.
1:37:37ALL OF A SUDDEN IT SHIFTED.
1:37:41THINGS WERE FINE. AT THE AGE OF 15,
1:37:45SOMETHING HAPPENED AND NOW MY FAMILY
1:37:46DYNAMIC HAS gone the left.
1:37:52We now find ourselves in instable
1:37:54environments.
1:37:56I've been there.
1:37:58My parents were together. ALL OF A
1:37:59SUDDEN, I ATTEND THE AGE. THEY SPLIT.
1:38:02AND ALL OF A SUDDEN, WHAT WAS ONCE A
1:38:03FUNCTIONAL FAMILY HAS NOW BECOME
1:38:05DYSFUNCTIONAL.
1:38:07THE ENEMY CONTAMINATED THE SOIL MY SOUL
1:38:10WAS ON.
1:38:12FOR SOME OF YOU, IT MIGHT BE THORNS,
1:38:14PAIN. YOU'VE GONE THROUGH TRAUMATIC
1:38:17EXPERIENCES
1:38:20AND WE UNDERSTAND AND WE WE SYMPATHIZE.
1:38:24I TOLD YOU I AM I'VE BEEN IN THAT
1:38:26POSITION. BUT I HAD TO MAKE A PERSONAL
1:38:29DECISION THAT THOUGH THE ENEMY HAS
1:38:31CONTAMINATED MY SOIL, I WILL NOT ALLOW
1:38:33MY SOIL TO determine my destiny.
1:38:40I saw I saw the home I grew up in. I saw
1:38:44what the enemy did to my to my parents'
1:38:46marriage. The day my brother married,
1:38:50the day my brother married, we were in
1:38:52the hotel the day before. I I I looked
1:38:55at him, my older brother. I looked at
1:38:57him, I said I said, "Bro, we know the
1:38:59family we're coming from. Marriages
1:39:01don't last." I said, "We must ensure
1:39:04that we put an end to this." And I said
1:39:07to him that your marriage will be the
1:39:10beginning of a new legacy our family is
1:39:13building.
1:39:15>> Oh, if you want to clap, clap well.
1:39:23This is their eight years in marriage.
1:39:29I CAME AFTER
1:39:31I SAID TO MY WIFE, I SAID, "THIS
1:39:34MARRIAGE, THERE'S NO EXIT DOOR."
1:39:38I said, "There's no window, there's no
1:39:40roof,
1:39:42there's no basement, THERE'S NO ATTIC,
1:39:44THERE'S NOTHING. ONCE WE ARE IN, WE ARE
1:39:46STUCK." I told her,
1:39:51I SAID, "WHATEVER ISSUE WE FACE, WE will
1:39:53deal with it BECAUSE I KNOW WHERE I'M
1:39:55COMING FROM. WE WILL MARRY AND STAY
1:39:57MARRIED."
1:39:59>> They say we are 5 years
1:40:03Oh, if you clap, you receive the grace.
1:40:07>> Listen,
1:40:10NO MATTER THE SOIL THE ENEMY has
1:40:12contaminated,
1:40:14>> you have the ability to rewrite the
1:40:16story.
1:40:19>> Was it not said
1:40:21of David?
1:40:24One thing I I was thinking about was
1:40:25this David, we don't we don't know much
1:40:28about his mother.
1:40:30Not much is said about his mother. All
1:40:32we know is that the Bible says that in
1:40:34sin I was conceived.
1:40:37SO WE DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HIS MOTHER
1:40:40WAS, WHO SHE WAS, WHAT SHE DID. WE DON'T
1:40:42EVEN SEE HIS MOTHER IN his life. But we
1:40:45see his father. We see Jesse. AND JESSE,
1:40:49THE INTRODUCTION OF JESSE AND DAVID IS
1:40:51WHEN THE PROPHET COMES TO THE HOUSE OF
1:40:52JESSE. AND HE NOW WANTS to anoint the
1:40:55next king of Israel. AND THE BIBLE SAYS
1:40:57THAT COLLECT ALL YOUR SONS. HE COLLECTS
1:41:00ALL OF THEM BUT leave David out. It
1:41:03tells ME THAT EVEN WITH A DYSFUNCTIONAL
1:41:06home with him not being with his mother.
1:41:08THE FACT THAT HIS FATHER CHOSE ALL HIS
1:41:11BROTHERS AND LEFT HIM MEANT THAT DAVID
1:41:15GREW UP IN A house of abandonment and
1:41:17rejection.
1:41:21This was the story of David. for the
1:41:24prophet TO NOW SAY, "IS THERE NOT
1:41:26ANOTHER SON?" And he said, "Oh, there is
1:41:28one in the wilderness." CAN YOU IMAGINE?
1:41:32CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT IT'S NOW TIME FOR
1:41:35YOUR PARENTS TO COME AND CALL ALL THE
1:41:38CHILDREN TO RECEIVE CHRISTMAS PRESENTS
1:41:39and you are still outside washing the
1:41:41car
1:41:43and THEY DON'T EVEN CALL YOU. IT'S ONLY
1:41:45THE ONE THAT IS PROVIDING THE GIFTS THAT
1:41:47NOW ASKED, "HAVE YOU GOT ANOTHER?" AND
1:41:50FOR YOU ON FATHER TONIGHT REMEMBER OH
1:41:52YEAH THERE'S A LAST BORN.
1:41:57May may may we not give our children
1:42:00what our parents give us?
1:42:02>> Oh I don't or did you want to receive
1:42:04the same?
1:42:06Thank you mama.
1:42:09We have to see only THESE THINGS. IF WE
1:42:11DON'T REVERSE the soil,
1:42:15the next seed that is falling on you or
1:42:17from you is landing on the same soil.
1:42:23SO DESPITE HIS UPBRINGING OF REJECTION
1:42:25AND ABANDONMENT, THE BIBLE SAYS THAT HE
1:42:27WAS THE ONE CHOSEN. IT means that you
1:42:29can be rejected and still selected.
1:42:34IT MEANS THAT YOU CAN TURN AROUND
1:42:37WHATEVER
1:42:39STORY HAS BEEN WRITTEN ABOUT YOUR
1:42:40DESTINY.
1:42:46>> YOU MIGHT HAVE GONE THROUGH PAIN, DAWNS,
1:42:49TRAUMA, HURT,
1:42:51BUT YOU CANNOT ALLOW ALL OF THESE THINGS
1:42:55TO CONTINUE TO PAVE THE WAY FOR YOUR
1:42:57LIFE.
1:42:59A TIME HAS TO COME WHERE YOU HAVE TO SAY
1:43:01ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
1:43:02I must COME OUT OF THIS EMOTIONAL ROLLER
1:43:05COASTER, THIS UP TODAY, DOWN TOMORROW,
1:43:10A GENERATION WHERE WE CAN'T TELL YOU
1:43:11NOTHING BECAUSE WE ARE SCARED.
1:43:15We can't advance the kingdom like this.
1:43:22Hallelujah.
1:43:25Amen.
1:43:27I just saw the time.
1:43:30So this
1:43:32who wants to come out of this soil that
1:43:34the enemy has contaminated.
1:43:42In order to come out of this soil, your
1:43:45soul must go through the process of
1:43:48maturity.
1:43:52It must go through the process of
1:43:53maturity.
1:43:55IT MUST DEVELOP. IT MUST MOVE from a
1:43:58certain state to another.
1:44:03And some of us we HAVE WE HAVE BUILT A
1:44:05community around our pain.
1:44:08SO IT'S BECOME SO COMFORTABLE THAT YOU
1:44:10DON'T WANT TO LEAVE.
1:44:14So there ARE FRIENDSHIPS THAT THE ONLY
1:44:16THING sustaining your friendship is
1:44:18shared pain.
1:44:24It's time to come out of those
1:44:25relationships.
1:44:27It's time to come out of those systems
1:44:30that lock you in those negative soils.
1:44:34SO THE FIRST STAGE OF MATURITY THAT
1:44:36EVERY soul must go through is the stage
1:44:39of salvation.
1:44:41This is when your spirit man becomes
1:44:44saved. We know this one suzo. You now
1:44:47receive the complete package
1:44:50that God has in store for every
1:44:51believer. In this PACKAGE IS NOT JUST
1:44:55SALVATION,
1:44:56it's deliverance.
1:44:58In this package is restoration.
1:45:01In this package is healing. IN THIS
1:45:04PACKAGE OF SHOES OF SALVATION,
1:45:06EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR DESTINY
1:45:08DEVELOPMENT AND ADVANCEMENT IS HERE.
1:45:11THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF YOUR journey
1:45:15into spiritual and soloulish maturity.
1:45:18Everyone say salvation.
1:45:22BUT FROM SALVATION, YOU CAN'T BE
1:45:24SATISFIED.
1:45:26Salvation brings you to church. BUT WHEN
1:45:29YOU STAY AT THE LEVEL or the stage of
1:45:32salvation, you would realize THAT
1:45:34EVENTUALLY THE ZEAL YOU HAD FOR THE
1:45:37LORD'S HOUSE WOULD DIMINISH.
1:45:42And if we're being honest, many of us
1:45:43have found ourselves in this position.
1:45:46THE ZEAL YOU HAVE FOR THE LORD'S HOUSE,
1:45:49THE PASSION YOU HAD FOR THE THINGS OF
1:45:51GOD,
1:45:54THAT DETERMINATION, THAT PRAYER POWER,
1:45:57THAT ABILITY TO GO ALONG AND TO TAR,
1:46:02THAT SACRIFICIAL HEART,
1:46:04THAT LIFE OF COMMITMENT TO THE THINGS OF
1:46:06GOD. IT IS GOING FROM ONE LEVEL TO
1:46:09ANOTHER LEVEL, BUT NOT POSITIVELY. AND
1:46:12IT'S BECAUSE YOU'VE NOT BEEN INTENTIONAL
1:46:14ABOUT TAKING YOUR soul through the
1:46:15process of maturity.
1:46:18YOU ARE SATISFIED REMAINING AT THE PLACE
1:46:20OF salvation
1:46:23unknown to you. If you stay there,
1:46:26EVENTUALLY YOU WILL GIVE UP ON THE
1:46:28THINGS OF GOD. Don't think that
1:46:30everybody that started with God stayed
1:46:32with him. Was it not said of a man
1:46:34called Damas that he departed from us
1:46:38because he so loved the things of the
1:46:39world? HE WAS IN CHURCH BUT HE DID NOT
1:46:43MATURE. HE DID NOT GO FROM ONE STAGE TO
1:46:46ANOTHER. SO EVENTUALLY THE TALK OF WAR
1:46:50TOOK HIM TO THE SIDE of the enemy. Say
1:46:52in the name of Jesus. Come on say like
1:46:54you mean it. Say in the name of Jesus.
1:46:57Say I declare say I decree that no enemy
1:47:02say no spiritual attack will take me out
1:47:06of my destiny place
1:47:09in the name of Jesus.
1:47:15So from salvation
1:47:19and I'll hinge on this one. You must get
1:47:21to the place of transformation.
1:47:24This is where YOUR SOUL IS NOW
1:47:26TRANSFORMED.
1:47:30So the scripture tells us in Romans 12
1:47:34that be ye transformed by the of your
1:47:37mind. Your mind is a PART OF YOUR SOUL.
1:47:40So that activity is not a one day thing.
1:47:45It's renewing. It's a present continuum.
1:47:48It's something that happens. It's the
1:47:49process of transformation.
1:47:53And you can't be transformed, ladies and
1:47:55gentlemen, until you go through the
1:47:57process of disciplehip.
1:48:02To be transformed, write down these
1:48:04three things. To be transformed, you
1:48:07need to be introduced to the ministry of
1:48:09the word.
1:48:13THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD MUST NOW BECOME
1:48:15YOUR BEST ASSOCIATION BECAUSE YOU CAN
1:48:18ONLY be transformed by the RENEWING OF
1:48:21YOUR MIND THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD.
1:48:26NUMBER TWO, YOU MUST BE INTRODUCED TO
1:48:28THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT THROUGH
1:48:29PRAYER.
1:48:36And when you are introduced to the
