- 0:00Most traders [music] buy here, we sell.
- 0:02Here's why. Two things, liquidity and
- 0:04fair value gaps. Liquidity, that's where
- 0:06price is hunting. Fair value gaps,
- 0:08that's your entry. Most traders see this
- 0:10as a break of structure to the upside.
- 0:11[music] Wrong. We see it for what it
- 0:13really is, a liquidity grab. While price
- 0:15is sweeping liquidity, it leaves behind
- 0:17a fair value gap. In this case, a
- 0:19bullish fair value gap. But here's the
- 0:21thing, I never enter longs on a bullish
- 0:23fair value gap like this. Never.
- 0:25Instead, we wait for price to close
- 0:27below the fair value gap. When it does,
- 0:29this creates an inversion fair value
- 0:31gap. This is one of the most bearish
- 0:33signals you'll ever find. Once you get
- 0:34that close above, enter. Set your stop
- 0:37loss. Target the next liquidity levels.
- 0:39Then, let the trade do its thing. Thank
- 0:42me later.
- 0:42>> Okay, hold up. Hold up. We've already
- 0:43built this. Just go to the Lux Algo
- 0:45library, filter IFEGs right here, sweeps
- 0:48and IFEGs. All I got to do is either
- 0:51build onto it in Quant, or I can access
- 0:54on TradingView by clicking this button.
- 0:55Then we wait. Liquidity sweep, when
- 0:58purple, IFEG, take your short, stop
- 1:01above the high, two to one,
- 1:03bang. Liquidity sweep, IFEG, stop at the
- 1:07low, target the next liquidity level,
- 1:10bang. The best setups actually happen
- 1:12after market open in the highest volume
- 1:14periods, and when a sweep and an IFEG
- 1:16occur in a short amount of time. You
- 1:18take your longs, stop below that sweep,
- 1:20target a two to one or the most recent
- 1:23liquidity high, and you tend to see a
- 1:24nice reversal. And I'm going to give you
- 1:26access to this indicator right now. Just
- 1:28comment the word IFEG, you'll get a link
- 1:30to our library page. You can actually
- 1:32customize this to your liking in Quant,
- 1:35or get instant access by clicking
- 1:37TradingView right here.
