Stupid Simple Asia Session Sweep Strategy — Transcript

1. 0:00Boomer, what's the easiest strategy for
2. 0:01beginners to make money with trading?
3. 0:03>> All you have to do, go to EUR/USD. This
4. 0:05blue box is Asia session. This is
5. 0:065-minute time frame. All I need to do is
6. 0:08wait for price to sweep the Asia high or
7. 0:10the low. So, in this scenario, Asia
8. 0:12closes done. Now, Asia's high is swept
9. 0:15in this example. So, you can see the
10. 0:16price is going above. Now, all I need to
11. 0:18do is wait for a bearish break of
12. 0:19structure. So, now this was the higher
13. 0:21low. If the price breaks beyond this,
14. 0:23below this, I will go short here. Stop
15. 0:25loss will be above, all right? I'll
16. 0:26enter here. This would be my entry.
17. 0:28Target would be simple 1:1.5. And then
18. 0:31we play. There we go.
19. 0:32>> Simple. All right, the thing I like
20. 0:33about this strategy is that it's super
21. 0:35simple and it uses a session-based high
22. 0:38and low. But, let's go ahead and look at
23. 0:40the indicator that we built strictly for
24. 0:41this strategy because it's super simple
25. 0:44and it can actually work on more than
26. 0:45just Forex, but we'll look at it on the
27. 0:47EUR/USD as well. So, I replicated this
28. 0:49exact indicator that he had on his chart
29. 0:51using Lux Algo Quant. You can also do
30. 0:53the same with Quant yourself. With any
31. 0:55strategy you see, you can just provide
32. 0:56screenshots and a context of the
33. 0:58strategy and it will build that strategy
34. 1:00into an indicator for you. But, what I
35. 1:02like is that we got signals for sweeps,
36. 1:04we got signals on the highs and lows,
37. 1:06and for when a signal from a change of
38. 1:08character or [music] a structure shift
39. 1:09actually happens. So, let's go check it
40. 1:11out and see how it performs. All right,
41. 1:12here we are on the EUR/USD 5-minute as
42. 1:14he said. I personally do think this can
43. 1:16work on any asset. We have our Asia high
44. 1:18and low that was set and really after it
45. 1:20set, we just want to see a side get
46. 1:22swept. So, a high gets swept here. Now,
47. 1:24in my opinion, I think it does come down
48. 1:25to the price action of how the Asia
49. 1:28higher low is swept. And as you can see
50. 1:29here, this one in particular takes out
51. 1:31that high and immediately reverts. I
52. 1:33think that's very important and why in
53. 1:35the indicator we actually added a
54. 1:37maximum amount of bars allowed for a
55. 1:40signal [music] after sweep. As you can
56. 1:42see here, we actually do get a sweep.
57. 1:43Our TP stop loss is set. If I were to
58. 1:46take a short here, it's a 1:1.5. Let's
59. 1:48see if it plays out and goes right to
60. 1:51the low right there taking out the take
61. 1:53profit. Now, one thing I did notice in
62. 1:55having these plotted with a midline,
63. 1:58price actually gravitates toward that
64. 1:59midline a lot. In my opinion, it could
65. 2:01be even worth taking profit at the
66. 2:02midline or using [music] it as a partial
67. 2:04take profit. Here's an example here of a
68. 2:06sweep and then there's no change of
69. 2:07character within those small amount of
70. 2:09bars outside the sweep, which I've
71. 2:10stated already I think is super
72. 2:11important. You can see price really
73. 2:13doesn't go anywhere. Here's a 1 to 1.5
74. 2:15again, let's play it out. And this one
75. 2:16actually goes right through our stop
76. 2:18loss. Now, between this one for one,
77. 2:20this is already pretty close to the
78. 2:21midline, which I think is important. And
79. 2:23two, it happens way late after the high
80. 2:26and low is set. Notice the one that we
81. 2:27did before, which was the actually the
82. 2:29day after, price sweeps right after the
83. 2:31high and low is set and then prints that
84. 2:33change of character, goes right to the
85. 2:34midline. But notice [music] the risk to
86. 2:36reward from the point of signal to the
87. 2:38midline was already a 1.6. So that could
88. 2:41be a very good indication for what's
89. 2:42good setups and what isn't. How much
90. 2:44time has it been since the high and lows
91. 2:46were set and what is the risk to the
92. 2:47midline? But if you do want access to
