- 0:00do you know what really makes great
- 0:01style spoiler alert it's not new clothes
- 0:04so let's talk about the things that
- 0:06actually matter most people don't wake
- 0:08up on morning and have amazing style
- 0:10it's a skill that is made up of a few
- 0:13habits that take a bit of time it takes
- 0:15a bit of effort and it's an ongoing
- 0:17process you are always going to be
- 0:19changing and going through different
- 0:20phases of life and your style is
- 0:23probably going to reflect that too in
- 0:25this video I want to explore a few
- 0:27different habits and things that I've
- 0:29done that have helped me develop my
- 0:31personal style and maybe they can help
- 0:33you too I've tried to include things
- 0:35that I feel like don't get talked about
- 0:38as much but I've also included things
- 0:40that you may have heard of before and
- 0:42it's just always nice to be reminded
- 0:44sometimes so get comfy I'm sitting down
- 0:46today because I feel like this might be
- 0:48a long one I've got a lot to say today
- 0:50number one is to have consistency in
- 0:54what you wear so I want to start this
- 0:56point off by taking a look at Bella
- 0:58Hadid who many people will call a
- 1:01fashion icon of our era and don't get me
- 1:03wrong she looks absolutely incredible in
- 1:06everything that she wears she is an
- 1:08absolutely beautiful goddess model woman
- 1:12we've seen her do so many looks from
- 1:14Ultra glamorous to preppy to office
- 1:18siren to boho and it's so easy to see
- 1:22why she's like one of the highest paid
- 1:25models of today she could make a potato
- 1:27sack look incredible but when we take a
- 1:29look look at these outfits from the lens
- 1:32of personal style I don't really get a
- 1:35sense of what her personal style is
- 1:38because every look is so different but
- 1:41if we compare this to someone such as
- 1:43Zoe Kravitz whose street style I
- 1:46absolutely love and we look at pictures
- 1:48of Zoe Kravitz over the years we can see
- 1:51that her style has stayed quite
- 1:53consistent we can see that she loves
- 1:56minimal
- 1:57pieces sometimes they are a little bit
- 2:00oversized but you know nothing is too
- 2:02fussy she's quite laidback but still
- 2:05very put together and that even
- 2:07translates to her red carpet style which
- 2:10I love I think it's a really great
- 2:12example of staying true to yourself even
- 2:15for event dressing I think we can all
- 2:17relate to you know buying a wedding
- 2:20guest dress that isn't quite us but
- 2:22because it's like a wedding sometimes
- 2:24you buy something that is you know maybe
- 2:26a bit more florally or frilly than what
- 2:28you would normally wear but because
- 2:30she's so consistent in her choices we
- 2:33really get a sense of her personal style
- 2:36in a more authentic way I also recently
- 2:39rewatched Sienna Miller's Vogue 7day
- 2:42seven looks video If you haven't watched
- 2:44that go and watch that cuz I think it's
- 2:46such a great video I'm definitely having
- 2:48a bit of a Sienna Miller moment lately
- 2:50and in that video she shows us a few
- 2:53pieces that she has been photographed
- 2:55wearing quite a lot she has on a pair of
- 2:58red Gucci loafers they obviously you
- 3:00know very worn a little bit dirty
- 3:03they've been through a lot with her and
- 3:05you know she's a celebrity she could
- 3:07easily afford a brand new pair of Gucci
- 3:09loafers but I love that she has
- 3:12committed herself to this pair which she
- 3:14clearly loves so much and the same with
- 3:17this red and green leather jacket that
- 3:19she shows us in the video she's been
- 3:20photographed with this jacket so many
- 3:23times over the years that it's really
- 3:25become such an integral and authentic
- 3:28part of her person style when pieces are
- 3:31worn in over the years and they've
- 3:33molded to you and maybe they're you know
- 3:36even a little bit dirty I like to see it
- 3:39as these pieces have stories to tell
- 3:42that only you can tell they're part of
- 3:45your identity the way that you style
- 3:47these specific pieces will change over
- 3:49the years but these pieces evolve with
- 3:52you as you go through your life and
- 3:54that's when they become part of your
- 3:56authentic personal style so going back
- 3:59to the point personal style to me is a
- 4:03habit of consistency and that could be
- 4:05consistency in anything as long as you
- 4:08love it it doesn't have to be a specific
- 4:10item it could just be a color you love
- 4:13wearing it could even be the way that
- 4:15you do your hair and makeup it could be
- 4:18a certain shape or certain textures or a
- 4:20piece of jewelry that you love to wear
- 4:22it could be the way you mix prints and
- 4:24colors it could be that you love wearing
- 4:27denim and Blazers having consistency
- 4:30means that over time people recognize
- 4:32these things as being you and that is
- 4:36your personal style speaking of habits
- 4:38this is a nice little segue to talk
- 4:41about my ultra human ring that I've been
- 4:43wearing for the past few months a couple
- 4:46of you have spotted this in my videos
- 4:48already and have asked me about this and
- 4:51ultrahuman were kind enough to let me
- 4:53wear this for a few months before I
- 4:55committed to putting it in a video so
- 4:57this Ultra human ring is a health
- 4:59tracker and it tracks everything from
- 5:02your sleep to your temperature to your
- 5:04stress levels to your steps um and you
- 5:06can even track your period on it too
- 5:08I've always been interested in health
- 5:09trackers but let's not be around the
- 5:12bush most of them are like horrible ugly
- 5:15things that you have to wear around your
- 5:17wrist that completely ruin your outfit
- 5:20and we just can't be having that but
- 5:21with this it's discreet it's small it
- 5:24Blends in with my other rings I mean
- 5:26I've even been asked like face to face
- 5:28in person where this ring is from and
- 5:31the other person didn't even know was a
- 5:32health tracker so the beauty of this
- 5:34ring on top of any other health tracking
- 5:37Rings is that there's no subscription so
- 5:40once you pay for this ring there's no
- 5:42other cost that you have to pay now I'm
- 5:44going to be honest this is definitely
- 5:45not a necessity it's a nice to have but
- 5:49you know as I'm getting older I like the
- 5:52idea of tracking my health specifically
- 5:55for me my sleep sleep is the key to good
- 5:59good health and I really like all the
- 6:02data that you get with tracking your
- 6:04sleep you get things like your heart
- 6:06rate your sleep phases and your sleep
- 6:08cycles and how many hours of sleep you
- 6:12are missing out on in the week and you
- 6:15can use that information to make sure
- 6:17that you catch up on your sleep there
- 6:18are so many more features that the ultra
- 6:21human ring has and so if you are
- 6:23interested in reading a bit more about
- 6:25them I will leave the link to this ring
- 6:27in the description box and if you're
- 6:29thinking of purchasing one I do have a
- 6:3110% discount code which will be on
- 6:32screen too thank you for ultrahuman for
- 6:35partnering with me number two is to look
- 6:37outside of social media for inspiration
- 6:41I know this is somewhat ironic
- 6:42considering you are watching my YouTube
- 6:45channel personal style is not about the
- 6:48clothes I believe it's about the lived
- 6:51experiences that we have in our clothes
- 6:54and how we can bring those experiences
- 6:56into our personal style and I think this
- 6:58is why we need to look outside of social
- 7:01media for inspiration and I think this
- 7:04really hit me at the start of the Autumn
- 7:07season when I kept coming across Tik Tok
- 7:10video Trends where people were asking
- 7:13what shoes are we all wearing this fall
- 7:15I just couldn't understand why people
- 7:17were putting this question out into the
- 7:19world instead of wearing what they truly
- 7:22want people were asking this question to
- 7:25look for popular answers and look for
- 7:26outside validation when your person
- 7:29personal style should come from yourself
- 7:32and I'm not trying to be mean to other
- 7:34creators you know these types of videos
- 7:36actually do really well on social media
- 7:38they get a lot of views so good on them
- 7:40and I don't think it's the Creator's
- 7:41fault I think it's actually a wider
- 7:44societal problem that we're having I've
- 7:47been feeling like social media over the
- 7:49years has created a culture of sameness
- 7:53it's become a bit of an echo chamber
- 7:55where we become attracted to items
- 7:58because we see other people wanting
- 8:00these items too and then through social
- 8:02media it's not just a few people here
- 8:04and there it's hundreds if not thousands
- 8:07of people every single day and look I'm
- 8:09not saying I'm immune to this I mean I
- 8:11bought sambas too okay but I think it's
- 8:14important to try and be aware of why
- 8:16we're buying certain items often we get
- 8:19told to look at Pinterest or Instagram
- 8:21for inspiration but what we have to
- 8:23remember is that these algorithms are
- 8:25showing us what is trendy at the moment
- 8:28so that's why I think we need to look
- 8:30outside of social media and have our own
- 8:34hobbies and live our own experiences to
- 8:37bring that into our personal style we
- 8:40can get our inspiration from movies or
- 8:42art galleries or books or if you have
- 8:45the means to travel travel and
- 8:47experience different cultures so instead
- 8:49of wearing something for a certain
- 8:52aesthetic or for The Virtue signaling of
- 8:54just knowing that it's Popular by having
- 8:57your own hobbies and interests and
- 8:59looking outside of social media you
- 9:01start to develop your own personal taste
- 9:04that is genuine to you so Point number
- 9:07three is to analyze why so I know I just
- 9:11talked about getting off social media
- 9:14but look I'm also realistic and I know
- 9:17that we will all still probably watch
- 9:19YouTube and follow our favorite content
- 9:21creators but I think we need to start
- 9:24doing so a little bit more discerningly
- 9:27so instead of just thinking yes I like
- 9:29that or no I don't like that and then
- 9:31moving on I think we need to start
- 9:33asking ourselves why so for example I
- 9:37came across this picture of Lily Collins
- 9:39recently and immediately I thought no I
- 9:43don't like this outfit on her um I just
- 9:45don't think it looks good but instead of
- 9:47moving on I started to think about why I
- 9:50don't like it so firstly I don't like
- 9:52the color of the scarf I think this is I
- 9:54don't know there's just something about
- 9:56this color I personally don't like um
- 9:59and it's a color I don't have in my
- 10:00wardrobe and that's probably why because
- 10:03I just don't like it but I also don't
- 10:05think it looks good against the beige
- 10:07trench coat I feel like the colors
- 10:09together this kind of orine purple and
- 10:13the beige are too muted against each
- 10:15other and they kind of just look a bit
- 10:17muddy together I also don't like that
- 10:19the scarf is I'm really against the
- 10:22scarf but I also don't like that it's
- 10:25quite a thin material so there's a lot
- 10:27of scrunches and bunch es in it and
- 10:31because it's very scrunched up on top of
- 10:34the trench coat that also has a lot of
- 10:36colors going on I think it just looks
- 10:38too fussy so that also tells me you know
- 10:41I like my pieces to be a bit more
- 10:43minimal if I'm layering I like my things
- 10:46to lay sort of flat against each other
- 10:48instead of too much like scrunching up
- 10:50and then lastly I don't like the
- 10:51sneakers with this look I think the the
- 10:54color kind of comes out of nowhere this
- 10:55like cream color and they are just a bit
- 10:58too chunky for my liking I think that if
- 11:01it was maybe a Slimmer black shoe then
- 11:04it would have looked a bit better and
- 11:05then if we compare this to an image that
- 11:08I do like so I think I put this image in
- 11:10a few of my videos lately cuz I just I'm
- 11:13really drawn to it for some reason uh
- 11:15but to analyze why I'm so drawn to it I
- 11:18really like this Mal gray and blue
- 11:21together I think those that's a really
- 11:23nice color combination I like that the
- 11:25blue jumper is tonal with the blue
- 11:27trench I like the mixing of the gold
- 11:29jewelry with the silver belt buckle like
- 11:32I really like mixing gold and Silvers I
- 11:34think that's like quite a nice
- 11:36effortless look and she also has on a
- 11:39kind of mix of Aesthetics which I've
- 11:41talked about extensively on this channel
- 11:43and will'll never shut off about because
- 11:45I think that's how you create really
- 11:46great outfits so it's quite a masculine
- 11:49look overall you know with the loafers
- 11:51and the jeans and the kind of heavy belt
- 11:53buckle but then she has on these like
- 11:55pink nails which I think is a nice you
- 11:57know little feminine t and then there's
- 12:00also a mix of preppiness in it with the
- 12:03jumper over the shoulders and the socks
- 12:05and the loafers so it's kind of a mix of
- 12:07different looks which I really enjoy
- 12:10looking at whilst we are on the topic of
- 12:12looking at inspiration I do have one
- 12:16side tip for you and that is to chop off
- 12:20the head of the person that you're
- 12:22looking at it's completely human nature
- 12:24to be more drawn to Attractive people
- 12:28and so so sometimes we have this bias
- 12:32when we're looking at these images
- 12:33especially if it's you know a celebrity
- 12:35that you just like or a content creator
- 12:37that you followed for ages and you
- 12:39really like it's worth chopping off the
- 12:41head and then asking is it the outfit
- 12:44that I like or is it the person and then
- 12:47once you start getting more analytical
- 12:49about things that you like or you don't
- 12:51like you will start to see patterns you
- 12:54just have to ask yourself the right
- 12:56questions you know is it the color is it
- 12:58the pattern
- 12:59is it the texture is it the shape I
- 13:01don't like or I do like and you'll start
- 13:04to see things you know you'll start to
- 13:06connect the dots with things a lot more
- 13:08so number four is to take the time to
- 13:10play at the start of the new season when
- 13:13the weather is changing new collections
- 13:14are coming out and everyone's talking
- 13:16about new trends that are emerging it
- 13:19can get really overwhelming I think I
- 13:21feel this the most when we go from
- 13:24Summer to Autumn for some reason it's
- 13:26just extra apparent in like September
- 13:28and octo oober and it's so easy to get
- 13:31sucked into consumerism but before you
- 13:33decide to impulse purchase whatever you
- 13:35have in your basket it's worth taking
- 13:38the time to play with your clothes that
- 13:41you already have so at the start of the
- 13:43Autumn season what I would do is bring
- 13:45out a few pieces that I enjoyed wearing
- 13:49last Autumn season and I'll start making
- 13:51outfits with them and putting things
- 13:53together that I think would look good
- 13:55and I'll also have pieces and
- 13:57accessories that I've acquired over the
- 13:59past year that I didn't own last Autumn
- 14:01season and so incorporating those into
- 14:04these outfits also you know gets me
- 14:07feeling a bit more creative it also
- 14:09reminds me of what I have rather than
- 14:12always looking for something new because
- 14:15isn't the whole idea of personal style
- 14:17about wearing what you love instead of
- 14:20giving in to every Trend and the idea of
- 14:23this wardrobe playtime is also to put
- 14:26things together that you might not
- 14:29normally put together this is the time
- 14:31to experiment it's just you and your
- 14:33mirror there are no judgments here if an
- 14:36outfit turns out badly it doesn't matter
- 14:39I think that sometimes when we are
- 14:40getting ready to meet our friends or for
- 14:42an event it's always in a bit of a rush
- 14:45I mean I'm surely I can't be the only
- 14:46one that always feels like I'm in a rush
- 14:48when I'm getting ready and so because
- 14:50we're in such a rush we just default to
- 14:52things that we normally wear and things
- 14:55that we know will look good which is
- 14:56absolutely fine you know it's good to
- 14:58have outfit formulas that you can rely
- 14:59on however I think this is the time to
- 15:03experiment and you never know what you
- 15:06might end up loving with what you've
- 15:07created but it's just about getting into
- 15:09the habit of giving yourself that time
- 15:12to play and it doesn't have to take a
- 15:14long time it can just be like one
- 15:16evening with yourself put on some music
- 15:20put on a show that you're watching just
- 15:22as background noise I'm currently
- 15:24rewatching Charmed and that's been
- 15:26really good like enjoyable back ground
- 15:29noise for whenever I have to do stuff
- 15:31around the house number five is to
- 15:34organize and regularly declutter I
- 15:37honestly believe that an organized
- 15:40closet is an organized mind however at
- 15:44this current moment in time I'm really
- 15:46not want to talk my wardrobe is a bit of
- 15:49a mess but I am going to film a bit of a
- 15:53wardrobe
- 15:55reorganization so stay tuned for that
- 15:57but I did do a declutter at the start of
- 16:01this year and honestly that lifted such
- 16:05a weight off my chest it just felt
- 16:08really good to get rid of things that I
- 16:12just wasn't using I also think that
- 16:14having too much Variety in our wardrobes
- 16:17causes us stress and you know that
- 16:21decision paralysis I'm sure you know the
- 16:24feeling you're getting ready you open
- 16:26your wardrobe there's so much there and
- 16:29yet you still don't know what to wear
- 16:30which is ridiculous because we have so
- 16:32much to choose from but the fact that we
- 16:34have so much choice just causes us to
- 16:37feel really overwhelmed and I think it
- 16:39also stops us from putting together our
- 16:42best outfits because let's be honest we
- 16:44probably don't 100% love everything in
- 16:48our wardrobes from my declutter at the
- 16:50start of this year I realized that I had
- 16:53a lot of pieces that I liked but I
- 16:56didn't love so I liked the idea of them
- 16:59but maybe like the color was slightly
- 17:01wrong or the composition was like not
- 17:04the best or maybe I had something
- 17:06similar that I just loved more and so
- 17:09didn't wear the other one having a well
- 17:12organized wardrobe also just makes
- 17:15getting dressed so much easier you know
- 17:17what you have you know where it is and
- 17:20you're not kind of like scrambling
- 17:22around trying to find it like I said my
- 17:24wardrobe is a bit of a mess at the
- 17:26moment so I'm quite excited after after
- 17:29talking about organizing and
- 17:30decluttering I'm quite excited to film a
- 17:33video about my own process number six is
- 17:36wearing a mix of old and new and vintage
- 17:41and pre-loved and designer if that's in
- 17:43your budget wearing head to toe designer
- 17:46clothes doesn't make you fashionable in
- 17:49fact I think it does the opposite if you
- 17:52are ring on a certain brand to feel
- 17:55stylish but by mixing Brands and you
- 17:58know old items and High Street and
- 18:00designer and vintage and pre-loved you
- 18:03get to create unique outfits that only
- 18:06you can have you get to put your own
- 18:08spin your own unique take on an outfit
- 18:12that no one else can recreate but I
- 18:14guess instead of talking about it I will
- 18:16show you three outfits that mixes
- 18:19everything in my wardrobe okay so I will
- 18:23talk you through my outfit which is a
- 18:25mix of old and new and whatever pieces
- 18:29so these jeans these are the ca jeans
- 18:33the COA jeans these are the arch jeans
- 18:36from CA I'm pretty sure they do this
- 18:38style every year but really great pair
- 18:41of High Street Denim I love it in the
- 18:43the dark wash I think it looks great
- 18:45then I have it on with this belt that I
- 18:47bought from IA um a couple weeks ago
- 18:49when I was there I I really like buying
- 18:53pieces on holiday it's a really nice
- 18:54reminder of that holiday when you wear
- 18:56them and it just makes it more special
- 18:58is it's only available in that country
- 19:01so this is a beautiful belt from a
- 19:04boutique uh leather shop in IA Oldtown
- 19:07it was a little bit pricey but I love
- 19:10belt I thought it was really special and
- 19:12I really liked it we were in the shop
- 19:13for ages whil I debated which one to get
- 19:17and then I have it on with this cardigan
- 19:20this is also a new piece it's kind of
- 19:23like a cropped cotton cardigan I just
- 19:25really liked the like pointel kind of
- 19:28detailing to it it I thought it was very
- 19:29sweet then I have it on with this
- 19:33vintage leather trench coat this was my
- 19:37mom's and it's now mine it's like 30
- 19:41years old or something so I love that
- 19:45then I have this Seline bag which I've
- 19:49had for a few years now I always wear it
- 19:52it's probably my most used designer
- 19:54handbag I just think it's so great to
- 19:56like bring around everywhere and then is
- 19:58that everything then I have my loafers
- 20:01which are about 12 or 13 years old these
- 20:04are from Top Shop when top shop did a
- 20:07collaboration with JW Anderson so you
- 20:10can Google however long ago that was
- 20:12pretty sure it was about 12 or 13 years
- 20:14ago and so that is my outfit and I feel
- 20:17like it's very unique to me because it's
- 20:19made up of lots of pieces from you know
- 20:23like my this is my mom's and this is
- 20:25from my bether and you know just picking
- 20:27up pieces here and there um that make a
- 20:29unique outfit so for my next outfit I
- 20:32have on another pair of jeans these are
- 20:34a pair of vintage Levis that I managed
- 20:37to find on Vinted for
- 20:40£12 I was so excited when I found them
- 20:45and then even more excited that they
- 20:47actually fit because that is a risk that
- 20:49you always take whenever you buy
- 20:51something on Vinted but I just thought
- 20:53you know £12 even if they don't fit not
- 20:55so much of a loss but they did and I was
- 20:58very happy happy so then I'm wearing
- 21:00them with a belt from Isabelle Morant
- 21:04this is just a plain leather belt with a
- 21:05Silver Buckle it's been very useful in
- 21:08my wardrobe over the years and then I
- 21:10have on this green and white stripe
- 21:12shirt this is fairly new it's from with
- 21:17nothing underneath I bought this last
- 21:20year so I've had it for a year I love it
- 21:24absolutely love this shirt if you're
- 21:25ever in need of a shirt ever with
- 21:28nothing underneath is the place to go to
- 21:32then I have it on with this gray trench
- 21:34coat that I bought when I was in Japan
- 21:38in March the vintage shopping in Japan
- 21:40incredible this was like £30 or so um
- 21:45and I absolutely love it and then I have
- 21:46it with this brown bag from J crew this
- 21:50is one I also bought last year but I
- 21:53absolutely love this bag I think this
- 21:56and the Seline bag I just showed you are
- 21:58probably my top two most worn bags and
- 22:01then lastly for my shoes I have these
- 22:03acne boots which I've had for
- 22:06about eight
- 22:09years yeah wow eight years they were
- 22:13probably like one of the first designer
- 22:16boots that I ever bought um and I still
- 22:19have them in my wardrobe I just think
- 22:20they're really good shape really classic
- 22:23I like the wedge I feel like it's a
- 22:24little bit different um so yeah so for
- 22:28my last outfit I have on these trousers
- 22:30from goo spelled like gu and goo is a
- 22:35sister brand to Unico I think it's meant
- 22:38to be like an even cheaper version of
- 22:41uniclo but I got these from Japan and
- 22:43they were just such a good fit and I
- 22:46think they were like £10 or something so
- 22:49I just had to get them I should have
- 22:51just got them in lots of different
- 22:52colors to be honest and this belt is
- 22:55just a plain black leather belt with
- 22:58this gold buckle and I got this from a
- 23:02market when I was in Italy last year
- 23:05with my mom and my boyfriend so that's
- 23:07another kind of like holiday purchase
- 23:09that always makes me think of the
- 23:12holiday my top is a cashmere vest from
- 23:16Unico this was in my most recent Unico
- 23:19video so you would have seen that if
- 23:21you've watched that video then this
- 23:24leather jacket I've had for a couple
- 23:25years it's from W concept and W concept
- 23:29is like an online shop that has lots of
- 23:32different Korean designers on there this
- 23:35is like a Korean brand and then my bag
- 23:37is a pre-loved Prada handbag really good
- 23:42find in my opinion it's not a style I've
- 23:44seen before and I just thought it was
- 23:47unique um but minimal you know it's got
- 23:50that sort of like '90s
- 23:51minimalism isness about it and then what
- 23:55else Converses had these for years and
- 23:59years and years of course a classic and
- 24:01then I have on this red beaded necklace
- 24:04that I got from mango yeah I think you
- 24:07guys kind of get the point just a mix of
- 24:09like old and new and sometimes designer
- 24:12and just the way you put together all of
- 24:16these pieces is what makes your own
- 24:19unique personal style so the final point
- 24:22which might be one of my favorites is to
- 24:26start putting what you want to to
- 24:28purchase into a wish list I think using
- 24:31a wish list just has so many benefits
- 24:35firstly you stop yourself impulse
- 24:37purchasing you stop yourself impulse
- 24:39purchasing that Trend that you are
- 24:41seeing everywhere and you think you want
- 24:44we are in such a culture of see it like
- 24:48it want it buy it and I think this is so
- 24:50damaging to our personal style
- 24:53development and our wallets give
- 24:56yourself a moment to just build a wish
- 24:59list of things that you feel like you
- 25:02might be missing in your wardrobe for
- 25:04example on my wish list currently I have
- 25:08a pair of black knee high heeled boots
- 25:11because I don't own a pair and a brown
- 25:15suede mini skirt I think these two items
- 25:18for Autumn winter would easily slot into
- 25:22my wardrobe I have so many things I
- 25:24could wear with both of these items and
- 25:26it would open up a lot of outfits for me
- 25:30so by having these things on a wish list
- 25:32when I inevitably see a piece that I
- 25:35like on social media let's say it's a
- 25:38gray cardigan I can consult my wish list
- 25:40and it reminds me that I have these two
- 25:43other pieces on here that actually I
- 25:46would prefer to buy over this gray
- 25:49cardigan these are the things that
- 25:51actually I do want to save up my money
- 25:53for and would rather put the money I
- 25:56could have spent on that gray card into
- 25:59these two pieces and then I can happily
- 26:01forget about this gray cardigan and move
- 26:03on sometimes I do see a piece that does
- 26:06get added to my wish list but then after
- 26:09a few days I'll come back to it and I'll
- 26:11decide that actually I don't want this
- 26:14item that initial excitement of maybe
- 26:17owning this item wears off after a
- 26:20couple days and I maybe come to the
- 26:21realization that it's not the item that
- 26:24I wanted but actually it's the celebrity
- 26:28that was wearing it or the content
- 26:30creator I I saw it on but giving myself
- 26:32a few days to think about it to sleep on
- 26:35it to put it on a wish list and then
- 26:37forget about it um has really saved me
- 26:40on a lot of occasions I've definitely
- 26:42had moments of weakness marketing is a
- 26:45very powerful tool and it's only getting
- 26:47more powerful to be honest but using a
- 26:49wish list has definitely helped me and
- 26:52it's also the mindset of knowing that
- 26:55there's always going to be a piece that
- 26:56I'm going to want and if it's not this
- 26:59it's going to be something else I hope
- 27:01this was helpful if you enjoyed this
- 27:03video then make sure to watch this one
- 27:05on screen where I talk about the one
- 27:07small change that will improve your
- 27:09style forever thank you so much for
- 27:11watching and I will see you in the next
- 27:13video bye
