11. 0:18in and was arrested by federal
12. 0:20authorities he was charged with criminal
13. 0:22contempt because he failed to comply
14. 0:24with a house committee subpoena related
15. 0:26to their investigation into the january
16. 0:286th capital riots as well as just
17. 0:30refusing to supply documents for that
18. 0:32subpoena just ignoring it yeah that's a
19. 0:33great way to
20. 0:35get yourself arrested
21. 0:37if you want to speed run that yes
22. 0:39and as a way to apparently make himself
23. 0:41out to be some kind of martyr here and
24. 0:43keep his base highly engaged and angered
25. 0:46mr bannon of course live streamed his
26. 0:48arrest on the conservative social media
27. 0:50app get her here's a description of the

31. 0:58turn himself into federal authorities in
32. 0:59a black suv he makes his way into a
33. 1:02crowd of reporters then turns to address
34. 1:03the camera is this us he asked bannon
35. 1:06then took the opportunity to promote
36. 1:08both getter and his podcast which also
37. 1:10live streamed the arrest we're here
38. 1:12today i don't want anybody to take their
39. 1:14eye off the ball of what we do every day
40. 1:16he continued in apparently good spirits
41. 1:19we've got the hispanics coming on our
42. 1:21side african americans coming on our
43. 1:23side we're taking down the biden regime
44. 1:26in conclusion bannon said i want you
45. 1:29guys to stay focused stay on message
46. 1:31signal not noise this is noise he said
47. 1:33referring to his arrest
48. 1:35as for what happened after he turned
49. 1:37himself in uh here's the associated
50. 1:38press with more bannon did not enter a
51. 1:41plea and is due back in court on
52. 1:42thursday for the next phase of what
53. 1:44could be the first high-level trial in
54. 1:46connection with january's insurrection
55. 1:48at the u.s capitol federal magistrate
56. 1:50judge robin merriweather released him
57. 1:52without bail but required him to check
58. 1:53in weekly with court officials and
59. 1:55ordered him to surrender his passport if
60. 1:57convicted bannon faces a minimum of 30
61. 2:00days and a maximum of one year behind
62. 2:02bars on each count prosecutors said
63. 2:05and this is all while multiple
64. 2:07indictments have come down on former
65. 2:08trump officials including uh most
66. 2:10recently former trump adviser stephen
67. 2:12miller
68. 2:14as as well as former white house press
69. 2:16secretary kaylee mackinnon
70. 2:18among many many others
71. 2:21yeah in a joint statement regarding this
72. 2:22latest group of indictments relating to
73. 2:24january 6 the committee's chairman benny
74. 2:27thompson said the following the select
75. 2:29committee wants to learn every detail of
76. 2:31what went on in the white house on
77. 2:32january 6th and in the days beforehand
78. 2:35we need to know precisely what role the
79. 2:36former president and his aides played in
80. 2:38efforts to stop the counting of the
81. 2:40electoral votes and if they were in
82. 2:41touch with anyone outside the white
83. 2:43house attempting to overturn the outcome
84. 2:45of the election we believe the witnesses
85. 2:47subpoenaed today have relevant
86. 2:48information and we expect them to comply
87. 2:50fully with the select committee's
88. 2:52investigation as we work to get answers
89. 2:54for the american people make
90. 2:55recommendations on changes to the law to
91. 2:57protect our democracy and help ensure
92. 2:59that nothing like january 6 ever happens
93. 3:01again
94. 3:02and as for the big man himself
95. 3:04trump has been filing lawsuits in an
96. 3:06attempt to block any kind of evidence
97. 3:07related to the capitol riots from being
98. 3:09presented to the committee and just last
99. 3:11week a federal judge rejected a bid from
100. 3:13trump to block the committee from
101. 3:15obtaining white house records for his
102. 3:17investigation so uh oh yeah or maybe
103. 3:20nothing
104. 3:22yeah i mean you would hope that this
105. 3:23would actually result in some
106. 3:25punishments but it's hard to believe
107. 3:26that it will i mean
108. 3:28bannon is you know like 30 days yeah
109. 3:32well like it's just
110. 3:34i guess i'm just like and it's great
111. 3:36marketing for him yeah he's he's he's
112. 3:38already
113. 3:39i'm just so worn down by the idea of
114. 3:41people getting away with horrendous [ __ ]
115. 3:43and
116. 3:44not really having an effect on their
117. 3:45lives at all yeah um that's uh you know
118. 3:48i'm gonna set my sights low and hope for
119. 3:50the best i guess yeah yeah uh all the
120. 3:53people who've been waiting
121. 3:55five years for
122. 3:56donald trump to get arrested and thrown
123. 3:59into prison any day now any day um
124. 4:02i feel sorry for those people because
125. 4:03it's got to be a rough way to live uh
126. 4:05he's still very active on his website of
127. 4:07course uh he's been calling uh mitch
128. 4:10mcconnell a withered old crow a lot
129. 4:12recently yes he's been making fun of
130. 4:15another uh uh woman from the view pretty
131. 4:18recently
132. 4:19um so
133. 4:20it's all
134. 4:21you know
135. 4:22nothing that really pertains to this
136. 4:24that isn't just the same [ __ ] that he
137. 4:25said over and over again basically like
138. 4:26the his the the
139. 4:29his perceived attack on him versus the
140. 4:31capital riot thing that he may be
141. 4:33inspired is basically just like well
142. 4:34where what are they doing about the
143. 4:36black lives matter people it's just the
144. 4:37same old song and dance over and over
145. 4:39again so it's not really worth
146. 4:40mentioning but um as far as actual
147. 4:42justice is concerned like we said monday
148. 4:44was a busy day in the world of
149. 4:46right-wing grifters and we now have a
150. 4:48follow-up story regarding the defamation
151. 4:50lawsuits filed by the families of the
152. 4:52sandy hook victims against infowars
153. 4:54owner and host alex jones
154. 4:56he was found guilty in all of the
155. 4:58remaining san diego
156. 5:00cases yes uh where he was of course sued
157. 5:02for spreading fake conspiracy theories
158. 5:04about the shooting including claims that
159. 5:06family members were crisis actors in
160. 5:08what appeared to be an attempt to
161. 5:10convince his viewers that it was a false
162. 5:11flag operation which would then be used
163. 5:13to disarm the country
164. 5:15jones will now be forced to pay damages
165. 5:18to all of those families and it actually
166. 5:20feels kind of weird seeing the justice
167. 5:22of the system work once in a while uh
168. 5:24even if he did lose these cases by
169. 5:26default for just refusing to turn over
170. 5:28documents yeah um
171. 5:29this is like when mob bosses uh didn't
172. 5:32get arrested for like the many other
173. 5:33crimes that they did it was like taxes
174. 5:35it's like all of these uh gop and
175. 5:37conservative guys are just outright
176. 5:40protesting to present any of the
177. 5:42documents that any court is requesting
178. 5:45of them or even to show up so alex jones
179. 5:46can say for the rest of his life that
180. 5:48this wasn't a fair trial because yeah
181. 5:49exactly well i didn't get to speak it's
182. 5:51like well you were
183. 5:53you had every opportunity you weren't
184. 5:54involved in the process despite our
185. 5:56demands that you should be yeah um so
186. 5:58yeah that's kind of how all of this is
187. 6:00working out and at least in this case uh
188. 6:02it ended up in favor of the families
189. 6:04but here's the new york times with more
190. 6:06on this judgment a state court in
191. 6:08connecticut granted a sweeping victory
192. 6:10to the families of eight people killed
193. 6:11in a 2012 mass shooting at sandy hook
194. 6:13elementary school in newtown connecticut
195. 6:15who had sued the far-right broadcaster
196. 6:17and conspiracy theorist alex jones and
197. 6:19his infowars media outlet for defamation
198. 6:21the judge ruled on monday that because
199. 6:23mr jones had refused to turn over
200. 6:24documents ordered by the courts
201. 6:26including financial records he was
202. 6:27liable by default the decision combined
203. 6:30with previous rulings in texas in late
204. 6:32september means mr jones has lost all
205. 6:34the defamation losses filed against him
206. 6:36by the families of 10 victims lawyers
207. 6:38for mr jones said he would appeal
208. 6:40juries in connecticut and taxes will
209. 6:42next decide how much mr jones should pay
210. 6:44the families and damages in addition to
211. 6:45court costs those trials are scheduled
212. 6:47for next year in both states so
213. 6:50the process continues he's got a lot of
214. 6:52money though uh someone commented that
215. 6:54he he let slip like
216. 6:56he's let's slip a couple times how much
217. 6:58money he has and it's
218. 6:59an insane amount and that will surely
219. 7:02be entered as evidence in
220. 7:04uh i would imagine it's all settled the
221. 7:07the judgments are going to be very high
222. 7:09yeah um
223. 7:11just the cost of specifically i know for
224. 7:14a fact that one family has had to move
225. 7:16multiple times because of the harassment
226. 7:18they were received from viewers it's
227. 7:20horrific yes people they lost a child
228. 7:23and then their lives as well to murder
229. 7:25and then they had to spend the next
230. 7:26several years just laying low and moving
231. 7:29constantly while grieving yeah it's
232. 7:31awful and having it to be constantly
233. 7:33[ __ ] alex jones for
234. 7:35enabling all of that um but while we're
235. 7:37on the topic of politics let's take a
236. 7:38quick break from america
237. 7:40and point the finger at france who's
238. 7:42president emmanuel macron
239. 7:44decided to change the color of their
240. 7:46flag back in july of last year and
241. 7:48nobody even noticed
242. 7:50uh seriously the french flag was changed
243. 7:52well over a year ago and no one said a
244. 7:54damn thing about it what
245. 7:57to be fair he only changed one of the
246. 7:59colors and it was to just a darker shade
247. 8:01of blue
248. 8:02but it's still a change that no one
249. 8:04noticed here's insider with more on the

273. 8:53the decades-long switch to a lighter

277. 9:00got to be like at least a few people on
278. 9:02the streets of paris who were like i
279. 9:03swear to god it's a different color why
280. 9:05does everyone think i'm crazy they
281. 9:08changed it they changed it that's not
282. 9:10the same blue i'm glad it's back but
283. 9:12it's still driving me nuts
284. 9:14uh and the article does show a couple
285. 9:15photos that compare the two flags and i
286. 9:17mean yeah it is definitely different
287. 9:19but meanwhile here in america we change
288. 9:21flags all the time we've got the more
289. 9:23traditional flags boring uh then there's
290. 9:25also a whole bunch of others that almost
291. 9:27anyone who is actually patriotic would
292. 9:29probably find offensive because they're
293. 9:31black and white with a stripe of a
294. 9:33certain color usually blue across them
295. 9:36representing different government or
296. 9:38authoritarian forces
297. 9:40you've got the thin blue line for cops
298. 9:42the red line for firefighters the yellow
299. 9:44line for dispatchers orange for search
300. 9:46and rescue the purple line for security
301. 9:49green for federal agents and military
302. 9:51and so on and so forth then you got all
303. 9:53all those but with mickey mouse
304. 9:55variations yeah for the people who are
305. 9:57in part of those groups and also adult
306. 9:59disney fans yeah well we should just
307. 10:01take all of those and combine them into
308. 10:03one flag so that everyone's happy hey
309. 10:04there you go it's got all the colors wow

360. 11:36russia shot a missile into space and
361. 11:38blew up a satellite which caused a large
362. 11:40debris field that has now threatened the
363. 11:42international space station and everyone
364. 11:44on board
365. 11:45and to be fair the satellite that they
366. 11:47blew up was their own
367. 11:48yeah so they're not shooting our
368. 11:50satellites out of the sky yet
369. 11:52but the subsequent danger that they've
370. 11:54put space agencies and citizens from
371. 11:56multiple countries in is uh we would
372. 11:58assume pretty unforgivable this is like
373. 12:00starting a bonfire in your backyard
374. 12:02why why is everybody mad at me and it's
375. 12:04like
376. 12:05everything else on fire is flying
377. 12:07everywhere yeah it's like having a
378. 12:08gender reveal party in a national park
379. 12:10yeah
380. 12:11yeah yeah uh astronauts on board they
381. 12:13literally had to shelter in place when
382. 12:16the space station passed the debris

396. 12:38do catastrophic harm to something
397. 12:40because there's no friction in space and
398. 12:42thousands of miles per hour uh yeah so

400. 12:48also the spacex crew that just got up
401. 12:50there recently they had the shelter
402. 12:52inside the dragon capsule uh that's
403. 12:54currently docked on the space station so
404. 12:57um probably something they shouldn't
405. 12:58have to worry about all the time but uh

408. 13:05this morning russia destroyed one of its
409. 13:07own satellites with a ground-based
410. 13:08missile creating thousands of pieces of
411. 13:10debris that have spread out into earth
412. 13:12orbit according to the u.s state
413. 13:13department the u.s has identified more
414. 13:15than fifteen hundred trackable pieces of
415. 13:17debris from the event and many thousands
416. 13:19of smaller ones that cannot be traced
417. 13:20ned price a spokesperson for the state
418. 13:22department said during a briefing the
419. 13:24news comes amid reports from russia's
420. 13:25space agency ross cosmos that the
421. 13:27astronauts living on board the
422. 13:28international space station had to
423. 13:30shelter in place this morning due to a
424. 13:32cloud of space debris that seemed to be
425. 13:33passing by the station every 90 minutes
426. 13:35jesus the time it takes for the iss to
427. 13:37orbit the earth
428. 13:38this test will significantly increase
429. 13:40the risk to astronauts and cosmonauts on
430. 13:42the international space station as well
431. 13:44as to other human space flight
432. 13:46activities price told reporters russia's
433. 13:48dangerous and irresponsible behavior
434. 13:49jeopardizes the long-term sustainability
435. 13:51of our space and clearly demonstrates
436. 13:53that russia's claims of opposing the
437. 13:55weaponization of space are disingenuous
438. 13:57and hypocritical okay well i mean we're
439. 13:59trying to weaponize space too so i don't
440. 14:01know that last part yeah that's just
441. 14:03some state department [ __ ] exactly
442. 14:05but the the fact that they have 1500
443. 14:07trackable pieces yeah that's a lot of
444. 14:09trash yeah and that's big enough to be
445. 14:11tracked by like radar or whatever i mean
446. 14:13you set up a big net yeah space net
447. 14:16catch all that trash but it has to be
448. 14:17smaller it's like a bolt going through
449. 14:19the wrong part of the space they throw
450. 14:20up a big magnet
451. 14:22yeah we need a space back big space
452. 14:24magnet yeah yeah mm-hmm

454. 14:29have no idea how this works but we're

468. 14:52astronauts on the iss but also their own
469. 14:55cosmonauts there are seven people
470. 14:57currently living on the iss two of which
471. 14:59are russian cosmonauts private space
472. 15:02tracking company leo labs confirmed on
473. 15:03twitter that it observed multiple
474. 15:05objects that are now in the location of
475. 15:07an old russian satellite called cosmos
476. 15:091408 which has now been confirmed to be
477. 15:12the target of the asap test asap tests
478. 15:15are often considered political moves
479. 15:16that showcase a nation's capability of
480. 15:18taking out satellites but they are a
481. 15:21source of concern for those in the space
482. 15:23industry because of their propensity to
483. 15:24cause giant fields of satellite
484. 15:26fragments yeah looks like this is a job
485. 15:28for
486. 15:29the space force yeah but unironically
487. 15:32yeah this is a job for them yeah i still
488. 15:34don't know exactly what they do
489. 15:36well they're gonna send up a big magnet

493. 15:46stuff that's not magnetized i was at a
494. 15:48dodger game earlier this year and they

498. 15:54whatever and uh and it was someone from
499. 15:56the space force and they were very young
500. 15:57and i was just like

538. 17:08the pandemic and we're talking about
539. 17:10thanksgiving and christmas get ready

541. 17:13you thought people were poorly behaved
542. 17:15in the airports and on airplanes during
543. 17:18the rest of the pandemic just wait
544. 17:21just you [ __ ] wait apparently
545. 17:22thanksgiving the two weekends combined
546. 17:24obviously make it much much more chaotic
547. 17:27than christmas because uh christmas
548. 17:29people start filing out at different
549. 17:30times there's not like
550. 17:32people go at different times
551. 17:33thanksgiving is like
552. 17:34it's those
553. 17:36big crunch yeah so yeah um
554. 17:40what better time
555. 17:41for all the major airlines to
556. 17:43reintroduce hard liquor as an option on

572. 18:12pandemic starting monday united is
573. 18:14selling mini booze bottles

575. 18:18domestic flights of more than 300 miles
576. 18:20in response to the feedback we've
577. 18:22received from both customers and flight
578. 18:23attendants what flight attendants bring

597. 19:00chicken
598. 19:01and that's that's on like an

639. 20:26swung a stanchion line post before
640. 20:27throwing it at agents taking his clothes

642. 20:32attorney's office has filed a complaint
643. 20:34against frank towers

841. 26:44played a couple days of it i'm like well
