Starbucks Interview & Text Timeline: How Letecia Tried to Stay Ahead — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00As we continue this disturbing timeline,
- 0:03watch closely as Leticia begins to
- 0:06unravel.
- 0:07You'll notice her need for control.
- 0:09Constantly asking questions, needing to
- 0:12know who said what and when. It's clear
- 0:17she's not just concerned, she's anxious.
- 0:21Not for Ganon's sake, but for her own.
- 0:24The walls are closing in and Leticia is
- 0:27trying to stay one step ahead of the
- 0:29police.
- 0:31But that grip, it's slipping. Let's take
- 0:34a look at the text and then listen in on
- 0:38the Starbucks police interview where she
- 0:40starts spinning her web face to face
- 0:44with law enforcement.
- 0:51On January 28th, 9 seconds after
- 0:54midnight, Tisha calls Al a couple of
- 0:57times and then they start texting. She
- 1:00sends him a text. Please help me. Please
- 1:03talk to me. And then he said, what's
- 1:05wrong? I can't sit on this house. Lena's
- 1:08on the bike. And he said, did she see
- 1:10him while she was riding? And Leticia
- 1:12says that Guin and he has the hood on.
- 1:16He was doing that yesterday. The lady
- 1:19has a better image, but it's too big to
- 1:21load. You can see it's a switch case.
- 1:24And then Al says, "What did you say he
- 1:26googled?" Hold. I'll send. Then she
- 1:28sends a screenshot of the Google search
- 1:31that was done on Ganon's phone that we
- 1:33all know Leticia did. Can my parent find
- 1:36my cell phone if it's off? Then she
- 1:39says, "Think he would trying to go to
- 1:42their house, the FV family." Sounds
- 1:45crazy, but he was looking up their
- 1:48address. If that's near here, I don't
- 1:50know. Anything else being said on that
- 1:53Facebook page? No, just people saying to
- 1:55start again in the morning after
- 1:57sunrise. No, she came back and he was
- 2:01leaving. Huh? I don't know. I was
- 2:03answering something. People brought us
- 2:05food. Okay. And then she goes on
- 2:08continues texting. This one was at 1:49
- 2:11in the morning. The pains are getting
- 2:14worse. Not being insensitive at all.
- 2:17Just letting you know. Please talk. Are
- 2:21you up? No one has reached out to me but
- 2:24Lorson Ranch. I always give it my all
- 2:28and try to do my best at everything I
- 2:30do. Leticia keeps saying, "I'm not
- 2:32trying to make this about me. I'm not
- 2:35trying to be insensitive."
- 2:37While she's making it about her and
- 2:39being insensitive, this man is hundreds
- 2:42of miles away at training,
- 2:46his son is missing
- 2:48and she's complaining about herself.
- 2:51Please focus on me. Talk to me. I need
- 2:54to know what you're doing. Who are you
- 2:55talking to? What's going on? She wants
- 2:58to know what's going on so she can be on
- 3:00top of the investigation. And then an
- 3:03hour later, she sends a text to Dietra
- 3:08Moss. Genanon has been missing since he
- 3:11was outside playing yesterday. And then
- 3:13she texts Al. And no one is ever
- 3:17supportive to steps like they mean
- 3:19nothing when I've did beyond my part. Oh
- 3:23my god. What are you talking about?
- 3:25Ganon is missing and you're worried
- 3:26about what people are saying to you.
- 3:29I have no one to talk to. What? No one
- 3:34said anything to me. Dozens of people
- 3:36were out looking and people brought you
- 3:38food. Like, stop being ungrateful,
- 3:40Leticia. They brought you food.
- 3:44[sighs]
- 3:45I was telling you how I felt and that
- 3:47all I was here was the Lorson Ranch
- 3:50people. Genanon has no one right now.
- 3:53That's who has no one to talk to. Yeah,
- 3:56Leticia. And then she goes on, meaning I
- 3:59had other friends here. You totally read
- 4:02it wrong. There was no one putting
- 4:05myself over this. You are my husband and
- 4:07I was saying my feelings. You completely
- 4:10took it wrong. I never discredited
- 4:13anything. You were saying people were
- 4:15talking to you.
- 4:17Forget I even mentioned having chest
- 4:19pains. I wasn't taking away anything. I
- 4:22was saying they were worse and wish I
- 4:26had someone to help. Regardless, I'm
- 4:29human, a person too, who has pain and
- 4:33worried.
- 4:34What do you mean he has no one? He is
- 4:36talking with his friends. Maybe not good
- 4:38friends. He is coming home once he sees
- 4:42the news. All I'm saying is talk to me
- 4:46like you haven't said anything about
- 4:48yourself. He's in a car long gone, Al
- 4:50responds. and how we can help each
- 4:52other." Leticia responds, "There is no
- 4:55way he got to the gas station by 400
- 4:57p.m. on foot. I mean, she's trying to
- 4:59prove that he was at a gas station.
- 5:01There's this photo and and Al's like
- 5:04there's no way he got there by 4:00."
- 5:07And let's not forget Leticia knows damn
- 5:09well where that kid is. He's in her
- 5:12trunk dead because she put him there.
- 5:16Then she tries to act surprised. long
- 5:18gone like with friends, right? I'm just
- 5:22so lost as to what to say. And it's also
- 5:25sad and I have hurt. But you won't talk
- 5:28to me about yours. So that's all I'm
- 5:31saying is to talk to me. Help each other
- 5:33out. I can't sleep. I ask the
- 5:36neighborhood to pray for you on your
- 5:38flight and help you. I'm just so
- 5:40devastated. I run time the door at every
- 5:43sound.
- 5:45So I can't imagine you. I'm just hurting
- 5:48for you and me to be I just don't know
- 5:52what to say or do or where to search
- 5:55next. I've been in his life since he was
- 5:57five and I've helped take care of him
- 6:00and most of his adolescent years. I
- 6:02don't understand. I think he may be peer
- 6:05pressured and I don't know about the
- 6:07salt stuff and like I keep imagining
- 6:09salts everywhere and my brain won't stop
- 6:11thinking if he has food. He hadn't eaten
- 6:14yet because we were supposed to at 600.
- 6:17Is there anywhere I could go? I have to
- 6:20do something. Please talk to me and tell
- 6:22me. All of these this little stream of
- 6:25text messages
- 6:27is bizarre
- 6:29because we know that she set up the bath
- 6:32salt. So, she's trying to act I don't
- 6:33know about the bath salt stuff. That was
- 6:36all her story
- 6:38saying that she had been taking care of
- 6:40him since he was 5 years old. She's been
- 6:42in his life. Like why is that relevant
- 6:46at this point? And talk to me. Talk to
- 6:48me. Talk to me. You know, maybe Al's not
- 6:52ready to share his feelings because he's
- 6:54probably really confused about what's
- 6:56going on. He's not around. You're lying
- 6:58to him. I really do feel for Al. She's
- 7:01text him again. Obviously, she's been up
- 7:03all night. I'm sure worried about going
- 7:06to jail. And we know she's not worried
- 7:08about where Ganon is because she knows
- 7:10where Ganon is. And she says, "Babe,
- 7:12please. What do you mean long gone? Now
- 7:15I'm freaking out. She's freaking out
- 7:17because she wants to know, did Al hear
- 7:20that from someone? Did somebody know
- 7:23what happened to Ganon? What does Al
- 7:27know that she doesn't know? That's why
- 7:30she wants him to keep talking to her,
- 7:32keep feeding her information that he's
- 7:34getting from the police to see if if
- 7:36they're suspecting her. And there's the
- 7:39whole woy me and oh, poor stepmothers
- 7:42always get the short end of the stick.
- 7:44Now I'm freaking out. I want to talk to
- 7:46you. I need to be there for you. I'm
- 7:48glad you have lots of people there for
- 7:50you, but we need each other. I need to
- 7:53be there for you most. No, you need him
- 7:56to be there for you most, not you need
- 7:59to be there for him. We know you don't
- 8:01care about nobody but yourself. Are you
- 8:03awake? What time do you leave? I feel so
- 8:07sick. I'm going to help the search
- 8:08people. Babe, you said your plane was
- 8:10early. I can't sleep.
- 8:13Babe, are you okay? You're supposed to
- 8:16be on the plane
- 8:18and you have said nothing in hours.
- 8:21Babe, you have to be up for your flight
- 8:23is at 6:00. Where are you now? Babe,
- 8:27your flight is at 6. She sent around
- 8:304:30. Between 4:30 and 4:42. Well, we
- 8:34all know that when you're going to when
- 8:37you have a flight at 6:00, you have to
- 8:39be at the airport 2 hours early, right?
- 8:42So, that means around 4:00 he was at the
- 8:46airport. So, it's highly possible he was
- 8:50either going through checkpoint or
- 8:53looking for the terminal or he's at
- 8:56really busy trying to get back home to
- 8:59search for his child. And again, she's
- 9:02making it all about her. And then around
- 9:07five o'clock,
- 9:09um, someone with a 843503
- 9:13number sends her a text. Any new
- 9:15information?
- 9:17And Leticia says, "No, I keep checking
- 9:19the door every few minutes. Last we
- 9:22heard was he was at a store getting
- 9:24food." That was a child at a store
- 9:26getting food, but like Al said, there's
- 9:29no way he got there on foot. And then at
- 9:31almost five o'clock, she sends a text to
- 9:33Al. I'm sorry that you felt the need to
- 9:35ignore me checking in, especially my
- 9:38husband getting on a flight with the
- 9:41tragedies that happened with the
- 9:43helicopter this week. I know you're
- 9:45worried, but it doesn't mean to ignore
- 9:47me and not be kind. His flight is at 6.
- 9:51This is 5:00. He is in the airport. I
- 9:54understand her franticness about him not
- 9:56answering her, but her over anxiousness,
- 10:00over needing to talk to him is bizarre.
- 10:04And then 15 minutes later, she gets a
- 10:06text from 719338
- 10:10number. Someone posted he wasn't at
- 10:13school either.
- 10:15And Leticia says he had to go to the
- 10:17doctors for his stomach. Honestly, I
- 10:20don't keep up with friends.
- 10:22Albert lets them walk around the
- 10:24neighborhood, but he was here in the
- 10:26afternoon. Wait a minute. He had to go
- 10:29to the doctor for his stomach. That's
- 10:31the first I heard about him going to the
- 10:32doctor that day. Another lie from
- 10:34Leticia.
- 10:36And then at 5:30, she sends a text to a
- 10:39631848
- 10:41number. Alba is hurting and taking it
- 10:44out on me, crying out for some attention
- 10:47because Al is on an airplane trying to
- 10:50get home. And then at 5:41,
- 10:53between 5:41 and 5:57 a.m., she texts
- 10:58Landon from Ganon's cell phone a photo
- 11:03of his bed and toys and said, "He left
- 11:06every toy." And Landon says, "Yeah, I
- 11:09get that he left and isn't back, and
- 11:11it's not like Ganon. Something's not
- 11:13right." And Leticia responds, "So, you
- 11:17saying he left planning to do something
- 11:19else, but then something else happened?"
- 11:22And Landon said, "Yes." And then she
- 11:24sends a close-up picture of toys. And
- 11:27Landon said, "I can't see this stuff,
- 11:29Tisha. Leaving here with my brother at
- 11:323:30 for Myrtle. Can we stay there?" And
- 11:35Leticia says, "Just ask Albert so he
- 11:37isn't upset with me about making
- 11:39decisions without asking. But someone
- 11:41can't get you from the airport." Harley
- 11:44or I, Ken. Sorry, it was a typo. She
- 11:48meant either Harley or I will go get
- 11:50Landon at the airport. But you can see
- 11:52Landon is clearly annoyed. Like, why are
- 11:56you sending me these photos? And she's
- 11:59just confused. Like, she's upset. She
- 12:02needs to find her child. And And
- 12:04Leticia's trying to send him on a wild
- 12:06goose chase. Look, he didn't even take
- 12:08his game. At 618,
- 12:11video surveillance from 6626 Amandan
- 12:14Drive shows the Nissan moved to the
- 12:19curb.
- 12:40Heat. Heat.
- 13:23And then a text message comes in from a
- 13:25719
- 13:27338 number and says, "Is there an Amber
- 13:30Alert out yet? Is Al home? Someone was
- 13:33saying he was in Oklahoma and Leticia
- 13:36says, "Yes, Oklahoma." And you can't do
- 13:38an Amber Alert unless you know that
- 13:39someone took them and have to have that
- 13:42person's name and tag. And then Leticia
- 13:44sends a text to Harley. Don't answer the
- 13:48door for anyone. I'm going to see if
- 13:49people are out looking. At 6:22, the
- 13:53Volkswagen was seen leaving Mandan
- 13:56Drive. Through your surveillance video
- 13:58from 6626, you can see that the
- 14:00Volkswagen pulls out.
- 15:22And then at 6:32 that it returns. turns.
- 15:53Yeah.
- 16:12About 10 minutes later, at 6:34,
- 16:15Al lands in Denver and he sends a text
- 16:18message to Leticia letting her know that
- 16:20he had just landed. At 6:35,
- 16:23Leticia sends a text to Landon from
- 16:27Ganon's phone. I'm heading out with the
- 16:29neighbor searchers.
- 16:31And Landon says, "Find my baby, please."
- 16:33Then at 6:36, video surveillance shows
- 16:37that Leticia's Volkswagen backs into the
- 16:41garage.
- 17:22At 6:38,
- 17:242 seconds later, she starts texting Al
- 17:26again, remember all that franticness
- 17:28about why aren't you answering me? Talk
- 17:30to me. Talk to me. Well, he let her know
- 17:32that he landed at 6:34. And then, you
- 17:35know, between 6:38 and 6:55, she finally
- 17:39responds to him, "Good, but why were you
- 17:42ignoring? I was worried you didn't make
- 17:44a flight." And Al says, "I'm not
- 17:46ignoring. I laid down. I'm at the
- 17:49airport. I haven't really slept. Flight
- 17:51leaves here at 7:30." Leticia responds,
- 17:54"I understand you are upset, but you are
- 17:56my teammate and parents stick together
- 17:58and not take it out on each other. He's
- 18:01coming home today." She knows damn well
- 18:03that boy ain't coming home today. And
- 18:06then Al inquires about how's Lena.
- 18:08Leticia says she's tired and Landon said
- 18:10they're coming and if they could stay. I
- 18:13said they had to ask you that I wasn't
- 18:16making decisions like that. And then Al
- 18:19said yes. In times like this, we put all
- 18:22differences aside. Hello, Al, my name is
- 18:25Janice Cadeness. I have been in contact
- 18:28with your wife throughout the night. I
- 18:30am a neighbor here in Lorson Ranch.
- 18:32Camera gave me your info. I wanted to
- 18:34let you know I see I sent T a Facebook
- 18:37message that the news sent me with their
- 18:39contact info. They said if you can call
- 18:41their newsroom, KKTV, they can get a
- 18:44statement released ASAP. We need someone
- 18:47from the family to call our newsroom
- 18:49room. If you know them or know someone
- 18:52who does, please pass along any
- 18:53information.
- 18:55719-578.
- 18:58Praying for you all. We are currently
- 18:59getting a meal train set up for you all,
- 19:02so you have one less thing to worry
- 19:04about. Please do not hesitate to reach
- 19:07out if y'all need anything. And then
- 19:10Leticia responds, "Okay, I don't agree,
- 19:12but it's your choice." She's responding
- 19:14to Landon staying over like they want to
- 19:18find their child and you're going to
- 19:20play little, "Oh, I'm the jealous wife.
- 19:23Oh my god, you're going to let your
- 19:24ex-wife stay in our house while you're
- 19:26looking for your child." And then Al
- 19:29reiterates to Leticia, I just got that
- 19:32so that she refocus yourself, Leticia.
- 19:35This isn't about you. We're still trying
- 19:37to find Ganon. And then she says, "Yeah,
- 19:39that's Jane. She's out here searching
- 19:41with us." And then Alice says, "Please
- 19:42call the news." She says, "It's on five
- 19:45stations. Please don't change your plans
- 19:48because I want you guys to be able to be
- 19:49together, but I'm probably going to stay
- 19:51somewhere else." Manipulation. That's
- 19:54manipulation.
- 19:55Oh, I'm going to go somewhere else. If
- 19:58your ex-wife stays in our house while
- 20:00you look for your baby. And he says,
- 20:02"Then do that." Perfect, Al. Perfect
- 20:05response. Then she says, "Okay, I don't
- 20:08want anyone here cursing and flipping
- 20:10out.
- 20:11Thank you."
- 20:13Well, I'm heading out to the searches.
- 20:17Okay. Can you call me in a minute? Well,
- 20:20someone saw him, but I guess you are too
- 20:22busy talking to someone else instead.
- 20:24The jealousy is coming out.
- 20:27Oh my god. Could Al be talking about his
- 20:30ex-wife while they're trying to find
- 20:32their child? And then there were several
- 20:34calls between 657 and 659 between
- 20:38Leticia and Al. They played a little
- 20:40phone tag. They talked a little bit, but
- 20:43not much was said. Around 6:59 a.m. to
- 20:477:15 a.m. Leticia text Al. Oh my god,
- 20:52what happened? Albert, I'm trying not to
- 20:55lose it in the airport. Please don't
- 20:58push me about the location. I don't
- 21:01understand things if you don't
- 21:03communicate. Text it. Last night around
- 21:066:30 p.m., we saw him running in the
- 21:08rain off Academy and Fountain Road area.
- 21:11The boy was running westbound on
- 21:13Fountain Road. Good luck on your search
- 21:15and sending prayers to you and your
- 21:16family. I can't imagine what you guys
- 21:18are going through. I was telling you to
- 21:21see what you wanted to do. We have over
- 21:24a hundred people searching
- 21:28and this whole time she's just like
- 21:30giving this poor man false hope knowing
- 21:33what she did.
- 21:36Do what you think is best and willing.
- 21:40If he was in the side of town then he
- 21:43was taken and was trying to run.
- 21:46Wait, where is that? The bad Burger
- 21:48King. Okay, a team is going that way.
- 21:52Lena can't go to school. She's falling
- 21:54out crying. What's our plan? When you
- 21:57get here.
- 21:59Let me get there and we will make a
- 22:01plan. Okay. Landon said she's going to
- 22:05whatever neighborhood that he was last
- 22:07seen last night and knocking. How did
- 22:10Jane contact you? Everyone said she's
- 22:13trying to get me, but I haven't got
- 22:15anything. Text that one I sent. Okay.
- 22:20Neighbors asking me. That's all I got.
- 22:22And then Ganon's phone, controlled by
- 22:24Leticia's call to Landon's phone, and
- 22:26they speak for about approximately 7
- 22:29minutes. And then Leticia at 7:17 starts
- 22:32doing a search on priceine.com to look
- 22:35for cheap car rentals. At 7:35 a.m.,
- 22:39Harley sends the KKTV contact request
- 22:43form to Leticia and then Leticia calls
- 22:48the KKTV. I assume setting up some kind
- 22:52of an interview. Then in between 7:27
- 22:54and 7:41,
- 22:56Leticia sends text and Al. I talked to
- 22:58the news. Okay. Yeah, I tagged a few of
- 23:02them in the Insta post. Principal just
- 23:04called to do you have the case number? I
- 23:07can't find the card and the news needs
- 23:09it. Deputy Shawn Donahghue, El Paso
- 23:12County Sheriff's Office 719663
- 23:15and the case number.
- 23:18Are you going to be driving a lot? I
- 23:21assume so. Why? Okay. I was going to get
- 23:24a small economy car for miles and for
- 23:26gas. You think that's okay? Sure. Have
- 23:30you left Denver? I'm on the plane.
- 23:33airplane mode, only like a 30 minute
- 23:35flight. So, her renting a car, she tried
- 23:39to make it like, "Are you gonna be
- 23:41driving a lot because I don't want to
- 23:42put miles on my car? I have a lease,
- 23:45la."
- 23:47But at the end of the day, she doesn't
- 23:50want to go pick up Al in a vehicle where
- 23:53she either has or has had
- 23:57Ganon's body in the trunk.
- 24:03You know, open trunk, put luggage in,
- 24:05and oh, there's Ganon. Or open truck,
- 24:07put luggage in, and what is all that
- 24:09blood,
- 24:11that's why she rented a car.
- 24:14So, a 7:36 to 7:37. Harley FaceTimes
- 24:19Leticia. Doesn't look like she answered.
- 24:22And then there's a incoming text from
- 24:24719659.
- 24:26Hey T, any updates? How can we help
- 24:29right now? What are police saying? It's
- 24:31Christine Garcia, Jocelyn's mom. My
- 24:34coworker has a video of a boy running,
- 24:37but he has jeans, white shoes, and a
- 24:40blue jacket.
- 24:42Oh, did he have jeans, white shoes, and
- 24:45a blue jacket? And then at 8:13,
- 24:48Leticia's Volkswagen leaves Mandan
- 24:51Drive. At 8:23
- 24:54a.m., Landon sends a text to Ganon's
- 24:56phone, which I'm not, it seems kind of
- 24:59weird that she keeps using Ganon's phone
- 25:01instead of just use your own. Like, I
- 25:03understand you might not like Landon or
- 25:05whatever, but she is Ganon's mother and
- 25:07you're communicating with her anyway.
- 25:08Just give her your number. The pettiness
- 25:11is is crazy.
- 25:14So, Landon says, "Can you send me the
- 25:17pics of him at the store or anything you
- 25:18have?" And then at 8:26 a.m., Leticia
- 25:23does a Google search, employee parking
- 25:25at COOS. And then at 8:29 a.m., Al
- 25:29texts, Leticia, I just landed. You
- 25:31picking me up? Yes. And then at 8:30
- 25:33a.m., you can see there's a parking
- 25:35receipt where she parks at the
- 25:38short-term parking at the airport with
- 25:40her Volkswagen.
- 25:43And then at 8:32 a.m., Harley FaceTimes
- 25:47Leticia. And then at 8:37, Leticia texts
- 25:52Al, "Okay, I'm almost inside." Then at
- 25:558:42 a.m., Harley FaceTimes Leticia. At
- 25:588:44 a.m., Leticia texts Harley, "What
- 26:03shoes are at the front door?" Harley
- 26:05sends a text message of the shoes at the
- 26:09front door. It's kind of interesting why
- 26:11she would ask what shoes were at the
- 26:13front door. Text Harley again, "Are you
- 26:17working?" No. Pull your car in the
- 26:20garage. And Harley says, "I don't have
- 26:22work until tomorrow." Okay. Right now.
- 26:25And she said, "Yes." Now, that's really
- 26:28peculiar because her remember her
- 26:31Volkswagen was backed into the garage.
- 26:33She pulled it out of the garage to go
- 26:35park it in short-term parking, rent a
- 26:37car to go pick up her husband. So, she
- 26:41could be worried that by her Volkswagen
- 26:44not being there that it exposed some
- 26:47blood evidence that she didn't clean up.
- 26:50So, she's telling her to pull her car in
- 26:52to cover up whatever evidence might have
- 26:56dripped onto the floor. That's just my
- 26:58guess, but we will explore this
- 27:00together. What do y'all think? Let me
- 27:02know in the comments below what you
- 27:04think. Why do you think she was asking
- 27:07Harley to back her vehicle into the
- 27:11garage?
- 27:13And then at 8:50 a.m., Leticia picks up
- 27:17the Kia Rio from the Avis car rental.
- 27:21Then 8:54, Harley texts Leticia letting
- 27:25her know that she had pulled the car in.
- 27:28And then there were three outgoing calls
- 27:31from Leticia. one to an 843421
- 27:35number and then she calls Deborah Lleair
- 27:38and then again calls Deborah Lleair.
- 27:41Looks like the first call was not
- 27:44answered. At 9:15, Leticia and Al arrive
- 27:48back home in the Kia.
- 27:51And then at 9:19,
- 27:55the um news calls
- 27:59Leticia and then the sheriff's office
- 28:02calls Leticia at 9:22 a.m. And then at
- 28:0510:10 a.m., Harley text into a group
- 28:08text, "Hey guys, my little brother is
- 28:11missing, so if you could keep an eye
- 28:13out. We haven't seen him since 400 p.m.
- 28:15yesterday. He could be anywhere now
- 28:18because we know he's been traveling in a
- 28:20vehicle. He's only 11. I'll keep you
- 28:22guys updated. So, if you guys could just
- 28:24keep an eye out. Thank you.
- 28:28And then the sheriff's office releases a
- 28:31social media post
- 28:33of a bulletin for a missing child.
- 28:37at 11:03 a.m. a text message to Leticia
- 28:42from a 2110313
- 28:44number. We have hit up all fountain
- 28:47businesses in Walmarts. And Leticia
- 28:49says, "Thank you."
- 28:52Then 11:09.
- 28:54She texts Al, "You?" Yes. Any luck? What
- 28:57are they doing, babe? Talking. What are
- 29:00they saying? They misread the footage.
- 29:03He doesn't think he was here. What? Are
- 29:06you kidding me? Oh my god.
- 29:08[sighs and gasps]
- 29:10Her her shock. Oh my god. What? When she
- 29:14knows
- 29:16[sighs]
- 29:16just so bizarre how someone can be such
- 29:18a diabolical liar like this woman,
- 29:22which is why I decided to do this video
- 29:24because it's so bizarre.
- 29:26At 11:43 a.m., she texts
- 29:30Harley. Albert said to tell Lena to work
- 29:33on her clothes, her room. Okay. Before
- 29:37everyone gets there. And then at 12:30,
- 29:40the patrol's second neighborhood canvas.
- 29:43They're still looking for Ganon. 12:49,
- 29:47there's an incoming text from a 2110313
- 29:50number. There is a family with hunting
- 29:53and tracking canines that would like to
- 29:55assist. Would you like me to put them in
- 29:57contact with you? Could you give me
- 29:59their number? I will talk to my husband
- 30:02and add it to our list. We are so
- 30:04overwhelmed and no one has slept. What?
- 30:07Why would you? She is saying no because
- 30:11she does not want the K9 tracking dogs
- 30:14to come near her house because she knows
- 30:16they're going to pick up a cadaavver
- 30:18scent
- 30:20on her garage.
- 30:25So at 12:59, she does a Google search.
- 30:28Can Nintendo find my Switch? She's
- 30:31starting to get worried because there
- 30:34was an earlier conversation. So before
- 30:36Ganet went missing, before she killed
- 30:38Ganon, she did a search. Can Nintendo
- 30:40find my Switch? And she was pretty
- 30:42confident that Nintendo could not find
- 30:44her Switch, his Switch. So she wherever
- 30:47she put Ganon, she put that Switch with
- 30:50him. Well, then Landon's mother or
- 30:52Ganon's mother Landon said, "Oh no, you
- 30:54can track a switch." So then she does
- 30:56another Google search on how to track
- 30:58the switch. Well, now it's a whole day
- 31:00later. It's 1:00 in the afternoon on the
- 31:0228th, a day after he went missing. And
- 31:05now she's like, "Oh my god, what if they
- 31:07can track it? Will they find it?"
- 31:10because we don't know at this point
- 31:11whether Ganon was in still in the trunk
- 31:15of the Volkswagen
- 31:17at short-term parking
- 31:20or was
- 31:22he already dumped to that temporary
- 31:24location in the woods.
- 31:27We don't know that at this point. At
- 31:291:03 p.m., Leticia FaceTimes Harley and
- 31:34then at 1:28 a.m. Detective Bethl meets
- 31:38with Leticia and Al at Starbucks.
- 31:41>> I wasn't sure like what you were going
- 31:42to be in.
- 31:43>> Yeah.
- 31:46So,
- 31:48um, do you guys want to stand out here
- 31:50or do you want to go in the
- 31:51>> We can go in. Okay.
- 32:04I'm Detective Bethle, by the way.
- 32:07>> This is my partner, Detective Riley.
- 32:09>> Sorry, I'm just a little.
- 32:22So, we were just notified about what's
- 32:24going on with Canon and so we I just
- 32:27want to start from the beginning to make
- 32:29sure that I have accurate information.
- 32:32So, your name ma'am,
- 32:33>> it's T E C I A same last name A.
- 32:38>> Your date of birth?
- 32:39>> A483.
- 32:41>> Give me the address cuz I don't think
- 32:42that street name's right.
- 32:44>> It's just Mand Ma.
- 32:46>> How long have you guys lived there?
- 32:48>> A little over a year.
- 32:49>> Here.
- 32:51And your name, sir? Uh,
- 32:52>> first name is Eugene.
- 32:55Same last name.
- 32:59>> Your date of birth?
- 33:00>> 920 82.
- 33:06>> All right. Where do you work now?
- 33:14>> Which school? I don't know. I do like
- 33:16different things at the college.
- 33:25And
- 33:25>> you sir
- 33:31because
- 33:35>> So tell me a little bit about Justin
- 33:37Ganon.
- 33:40>> How old is he? He's 11.
- 33:42>> That's what y'all put out.
- 33:46Yes.
- 33:46>> And that's come to our attention that
- 33:48that's not true. So,
- 33:50>> right. That's what I was told too.
- 33:53>> So, we were like everything we've been
- 33:54basing the mindset on has been based off
- 33:57of that
- 33:58>> because someone actually texted.
- 34:00>> Yeah. Executive last night text me. I
- 34:02was in Oklahoma at for sale for training
- 34:05and I had to come home emergency but
- 34:07like he text me last night. He's like,
- 34:09"Yeah, we saw him on the camera. Came in
- 34:11didn't look did not look distressed.
- 34:14bought some chips, left on foot. I can
- 34:17show you text if you want to see it, but
- 34:20>> when did you go to Fortzville?
- 34:21>> When I had just I left Sunday. I just
- 34:23been I've been there one day.
- 34:25>> What school does Gon attend?
- 34:27>> Uh Grand Mountain.
- 34:28>> Grand Mountain.
- 34:29>> Yeah, it's in our neighborhood.
- 34:31>> I was going to say I think that's a new
- 34:32one that opened up. Huh.
- 34:35>> Tell me about his friends.
- 34:37>> Uh most of his friends are right there
- 34:39like right around our house. like he has
- 34:42boys that live right at the end of the
- 34:43street. Um he plays with them most of
- 34:45the time. Uh Braden is his name.
- 34:48>> What's Braden's last name?
- 34:50>> I don't know. I mean I got all his
- 34:52parents' phone numbers and we talk to
- 34:53him all the time. But uh
- 34:55>> if I could get their number, too.
- 34:56>> Yeah.
- 34:58>> So Braden, I don't
- 35:02>> It's like two families that live in the
- 35:05same house, but they're like related. So
- 35:07um
- 35:07>> Well, Connor, I know Connor plays the
- 35:09Webster. There's a Connor, but he goes
- 35:11to the web store like because they
- 35:12reszoned him because of the new school
- 35:14or whatever. So, he went there last
- 35:16year.
- 35:16>> Conor's mom, he's been with us the past
- 35:18day or two.
- 35:19>> She works at um
- 35:21>> Yeah, she works at Webster.
- 35:24>> So, this is one of them.
- 35:28>> That's So, like I said, I think it's two
- 35:30brothers and their families live in the
- 35:31same house.
- 35:32>> Um, and they got like three or four kids
- 35:34between them.
- 35:34>> But that's associated to Braden.
- 35:36>> Uh, I think that's Braden's uncle. I got
- 35:39Brandon's mom in there, too.
- 35:41>> But you can get to him through this guy.
- 35:44It's his uncle. So,
- 35:50>> when was the last time that Gon went to
- 35:52school?
- 35:53>> Uh, it would have been last week.
- 35:55>> Yeah. So, Gana went to school on Friday.
- 35:56>> Friday. Yeah.
- 36:01>> When does he return home from school?
- 36:04>> Home like 3:15ish.
- 36:06>> Yeah. 3:05 to 3:15 cuz they changed the
- 36:08new time of the school where it used to
- 36:10be like 3:30 to 3:45
- 36:14>> cuz of like snow days or whatever.
- 36:21>> So Braden and Connor are those the only
- 36:24two friends
- 36:26>> he know I don't even know the parent
- 36:29>> he wants to meet them all and talk to
- 36:31them so he has all their numbers. I
- 36:33don't even like I know them from coming
- 36:35to our house.
- 36:36>> Like I don't have
- 36:38>> There's one more.
- 36:39>> This uh so Lily is my really my
- 36:42daughter's friend, but she has a brother
- 36:44that's Ganon's age as well and they kind
- 36:46of live like right behind us.
- 36:48>> What is the brother's name?
- 36:50>> Greece. I do know that because I hear
- 36:51Lena say all the time.
- 36:53>> So they live on the next street over and
- 36:56sometimes they'll ride their bikes over
- 36:57there, but they mainly play the Think
- 36:58Boys Braden. And then uh right next door
- 37:02to them is a group of girls that my
- 37:04daughter plays with.
- 37:06>> Um I just know their mom
- 37:09>> CRA is the mom and that's her number
- 37:11right there.
- 37:13>> 801.
- 37:14>> So yeah. So
- 37:16>> C M R I think
- 37:20>> so that's mom of
- 37:22>> uh my daughter's friends. It's like
- 37:24three girls.
- 37:24>> Well, one of them is the age of G.
- 37:27>> Yeah. I mean, they're all these kids are
- 37:28like r, you know, they range from like
- 37:30first grade to like they're six.
- 37:32>> So, these are neighbors.
- 37:33>> Yeah. Basically, they live two or three
- 37:34houses down, but they live next door to
- 37:36one of our those two.
- 37:38>> Okay.
- 37:40>> And that's about it. That's all they
- 37:41really play with. Now, he's got some
- 37:42other friends at school, but never
- 37:44really visit our house and stuff like
- 37:46that. Um, the point of concern was this
- 37:50right here. This is where the concern
- 37:52started. Uh,
- 37:55>> I'll show you the text message he sent
- 37:57me.
- 37:59>> Okay, so this was he stayed at home
- 38:01yesterday cuz his stomach was hurting.
- 38:03>> So, we went hiking on Sunday.
- 38:05>> Okay.
- 38:06>> I told her that part. She sees about the
- 38:08stomach and we get about we went to
- 38:09Garden of Gods and we get probably about
- 38:11I don't know a few few miles down a few
- 38:14miles a few feet in. He's like, "Oh, my
- 38:15stomach hurts." I'm like, "Yeah, it's
- 38:17probably because you haven't been you
- 38:18know like exercising on since." has had
- 38:21this problem for a while because he gets
- 38:23like really bad constipation and so he
- 38:26was stomach was hurting all three night
- 38:28and I was you were either on the plane
- 38:30or something but we were like texting
- 38:32back and forth and I was like should I
- 38:34just stay at home because I just there
- 38:37was a blood and stuff coming out his
- 38:39blood a little bit and so I was like I
- 38:40didn't want him going to school like
- 38:41that and his air goes through like most
- 38:44air
- 38:45>> so that and he gets really down and
- 38:48embarrassed about that too.
- 38:49>> Yeah. So he gets embarrassed. He's very
- 38:50like emotional about that type of thing
- 38:52cuz he's he's sad about it. So he stayed
- 38:55at home. Well, he we we went about we
- 38:58went and got the dogs um some um new
- 39:01outfits. We got two new puppies. So we
- 39:03went got the dog new outfit. The pet
- 39:05code. I think it's on Kohl's. [laughter]
- 39:09Okay. Nevada exit maybe. I don't know
- 39:12the numbers, but I know it's Nevada and
- 39:13like Kohl's right there. So we went to
- 39:16Nevada.
- 39:18Um he sat in the car cuz he wasn't
- 39:21feeling well, but I wanted to make sure
- 39:22he was going to eat and I gave him some
- 39:24heat and stuff like that. Um I think
- 39:27that's about it. Got food, pet coke,
- 39:30came back, whatever.
- 39:31>> Um so when we came back, he was texting
- 39:35you and that's where you want to get.
- 39:36>> Yeah. So So he he had spilled a candle
- 39:39in the house, whatever. You know, he was
- 39:41because it was felt like he was smelling
- 39:44bad because of his accident. He lit a
- 39:46candle and was playing. and he spit out
- 39:47the candle. So he got really upset cuz
- 39:49he made a mess with that too. So
- 39:50>> So he burned a big
- 39:52>> So then this is where he starts texting
- 39:53me. I'm I'm in Oklahoma. So he told me
- 39:56my tummy hurts blah blah blah. And I'm
- 39:57just trying to stay positive, you know.
- 40:00Um and so he's worried about his teacher
- 40:05said he was really worried about getting
- 40:06in trouble for the for not for the
- 40:08accident but for the candle things. So
- 40:10>> then right here I was like we'll talk
- 40:12later. And he's like do we have bath
- 40:14salts? And I'm like immediately I know I
- 40:16know what that's all about. So I'm like
- 40:18what the you know what's going on? Where
- 40:20did he even hear this from? So I
- 40:21immediately texted her. I was like we
- 40:23have a little bit for bass and stuff. So
- 40:24I was like put all the stuff we use for
- 40:26our bass and put it away somewhere so he
- 40:28can't access it
- 40:30>> till we find out what's going on. And
- 40:32then I asked him for what? So with that,
- 40:35the day before when he tells me this, I
- 40:38said he came in and asked me, "Did you
- 40:40have any the day before, which was the
- 40:42Sunday, and I so I gave him a bath bomb
- 40:45cuz I literally didn't know bath salt."
- 40:48I I didn't know. So I gave him a bath
- 40:49bomb and took a a bath. I still was
- 40:51clueless to the bath salts until we
- 40:54looked it up.
- 40:55>> So then then he tells me this, "My
- 40:57friend said if I got some, we could play
- 40:58this weekend." And I told him, "No,
- 41:01absolutely no. I mean, you're still
- 41:02talking at this point." And then he was
- 41:04like, it went on a little bit. Then he's
- 41:06like, his brother has a car for a
- 41:08sleepover if I could come over Friday.
- 41:11>> And that's kind of kind of the end of it
- 41:12other than just some more haze.
- 41:14>> So
- 41:16that's where we get the idea that he may
- 41:19have left. Well, no, she he told her
- 41:22>> he told her he was going to play.
- 41:24>> So,
- 41:25>> which he does like
- 41:26>> which they do all the time. They walk
- 41:27out and they're like, you know, where
- 41:28you going? Be back such and such time.
- 41:30and they're always maybe he's 10 minutes
- 41:31late but you know nothing in my face. So
- 41:36>> I don't even know who this friend
- 41:37doesn't like. That's the that's the
- 41:39biggest concern on the surface. That's
- 41:41why I said no cuz like she said I always
- 41:43like to walk over there and meet. Hey,
- 41:45this is blah blah blah and get the phone
- 41:47number.
- 41:48>> Yeah.
- 41:50>> Um yeah, we don't know anybody that has
- 41:52an older sibling that drives. None of
- 41:54his friends that we're aware of. So
- 41:57>> we from these other people, we got some
- 42:00names of other kids on the bus that he
- 42:01plays with. And so we kind of hunted
- 42:03them down last night from door to door.
- 42:05Well, they did while I was on the way
- 42:06back.
- 42:07>> Found one kid named Jimmy, but he wasn't
- 42:09they hadn't seen him. And then they were
- 42:11like, "Well, this kid has an older
- 42:12brother or whatever." And they went to
- 42:13their house and they're like, "No, we
- 42:14haven't seen him." So that's when it
- 42:17really
- 42:18>> wasarming information that Jimmy had an
- 42:21older sibling. So, of course, we all
- 42:24went
- 42:25>> and we we think it was just put people
- 42:27together.
- 42:28>> So, then Jimmy's dad answers the door
- 42:31and they show the picture to Connor's
- 42:33mom who's the one with my daughter.
- 42:35She's a 17-year-old. Um, so he's like,
- 42:38"Yeah, I think I know that kid." And
- 42:40they were like, "Do you know Jimmy?" And
- 42:41the guy was like, "Yeah, that's my son."
- 42:42And then he was like, "I'm sorry to tell
- 42:44you guys, but we don't have an older
- 42:46older child that drives.
- 42:48I don't know if she said Jimmy was the
- 42:49oldest oldest, but whatever it was, dad
- 42:52said there was no oldest boy that was in
- 42:55their home backdrop,
- 42:57>> but it was like he said pieces were
- 43:00coming in from different kids trying to
- 43:02give us information and names that
- 43:05>> see the the big big deal here is it's
- 43:08not like him and and I know kids, you
- 43:10know, they get influences, but
- 43:13>> he he's a he's a homebody. I mean, I'm
- 43:15I'm like the same way. He he would
- 43:16rather be at home playing his little
- 43:18Nintendo or, you know, watching
- 43:20cartoons.
- 43:21You know, sometimes we got to I got to
- 43:23make him go ride his flag, that kind of
- 43:24thing. So, he's not one just to walk
- 43:26off. And, you know, he's had times where
- 43:29he's been a little embarrassed about his
- 43:30his stomach problem, but never anything
- 43:32to drive him to something like that. So,
- 43:35that's why
- 43:37>> I mean, I I had to come to grips with
- 43:38I'm pretty convinced that something bad.
- 43:42I'm we kind of between ourselves kind of
- 43:44broken down that we either feel like
- 43:46he's at a house where this some of this
- 43:48drug stuff was going on and they
- 43:50convinced you know they convinced
- 43:51>> Has anybody called school yet?
- 43:53>> So the principal called this morning
- 43:55>> I back up I emailed the teacher first
- 43:57and I'm like can you give us any
- 43:59information? I knew she couldn't but I
- 44:00wanted to start that dialogue said can
- 44:01you give us any information about Gan's
- 44:03friends or anything? She's like no but I
- 44:05can go through the administration and
- 44:06whatever. So, uh, principal, uh,
- 44:10somebody reached out last night to her
- 44:12that the principal said he waited at the
- 44:13front just to make sure he didn't come
- 44:15to school today outside or whatever. And
- 44:17then, uh, and then an announcement for
- 44:19kids that, hey, if you have any
- 44:20information, we just want to help Ganon
- 44:23and um,
- 44:26email on the the do not reply district
- 44:29just came to us, but principal said he
- 44:32was sending out all.
- 44:33>> Okay. So, yeah. So they're they're doing
- 44:35their dig.
- 44:36>> So that just came
- 44:38>> to us just now.
- 44:42>> What kind of social media accounts does
- 44:44he have?
- 44:44>> No, I don't even let him get online with
- 44:46his games.
- 44:47>> I have no
- 44:48>> Does he have a phone? Obviously he has a
- 44:50phone in the truck, but like we check
- 44:52through that. I I check the phone logs
- 44:54on my my AT&T account and he texted
- 44:58anybody other than the one friend. So,
- 45:01we have the capability to do a download
- 45:05on the phone
- 45:06>> and potentially see things that are
- 45:08deleted that you and I wouldn't see
- 45:11immediately.
- 45:12>> Um, it would be like in cash data or
- 45:14whatever. Um,
- 45:16>> would you be willing to let us look at
- 45:18his phone, do that download, see just to
- 45:21make sure that he didn't delete
- 45:23something
- 45:24>> that um that we need to look at.
- 45:27>> Okay. Um,
- 45:30So, it's an iPhone.
- 45:31>> Yes.
- 45:35>> You need you like need to take it.
- 45:38>> Yeah, that would be great if if we could
- 45:40>> um I know we'll get to that, but I
- 45:42brought this because I some of my
- 45:45buddies at work were like you can track
- 45:48>> um Nintendo has a way to track if a
- 45:50device is
- 45:51>> hooked to the internet somewhere.
- 45:53>> So, maybe if he's somewhere and played
- 45:55this game on your Wi-Fi or
- 45:56>> is that is the Nintendo Switch missing?
- 45:58Yeah, he took he had it with it. So like
- 46:00he was going to play games. That's
- 46:01obviously I he was he was going to play
- 46:04games with his buddy or something. Um
- 46:08>> what's the serial number on that?
- 46:09>> I think that's going to be right there
- 46:10if I'm not mistaken.
- 46:13Everything should be in here too.
- 46:17I
- 46:17>> think that's it though.
- 46:24>> So she other than the stomach issues,
- 46:26does she have any other
- 46:28uh ailments or disabilities.
- 46:30>> He just uh he takes um ADHD medicine,
- 46:34BUT
- 46:35>> that's never really caused him a problem
- 46:37other than he makes straight A's. He got
- 46:39actually got his first B this past time.
- 46:40So [laughter]
- 46:41>> that's his phone there.
- 46:42>> Yeah, that's 2922 is the password.
- 46:45>> 2922.
- 46:46>> 292. Yes, sir.
- 46:49>> Um
- 46:51>> yeah, let me give you this phone number.
- 46:55Uh, and like I don't know if you have to
- 46:58subpoena the information or not, but so
- 47:00my friend looked this up. He found um
- 47:03said that uh police can subpoena a
- 47:06connection location for the Switch and
- 47:08that's the fun that just he found
- 47:10something on the internet that said
- 47:11that. So it's it's at least worth
- 47:13looking into, I think.
- 47:14>> Yeah, we've got a database of stuff that
- 47:16we work with. So
- 47:18>> So yeah,
- 47:18>> we'll be able to find a contact.
- 47:20>> Okay.
- 47:21>> If that service exists with them.
- 47:27I'm just going to show you. Can I show
- 47:29you something in here? I mean, I know
- 47:30you're full of, but I was just sure
- 47:32about the history.
- 47:33>> Oh, yeah. He had looked up only one
- 47:37something that was
- 47:39>> What do you What was the history?
- 47:40>> Are there any other children in the
- 47:41home?
- 47:43>> I'm sorry.
- 47:44>> You had mentioned a 17-year-old.
- 47:47>> So, um,
- 47:50>> biologically both of yours?
- 47:51>> No. So, I have I have Ganon and my
- 47:548-year-old daughter.
- 47:57Um, and their their mom is on the way
- 47:59now, so she's going to be here
- 48:02>> tonight. But, um,
- 48:03>> what is sister's name?
- 48:04>> Lena. L A I N A.
- 48:07>> What's her date of birth?
- 48:08>> Uh, 12212.
- 48:12>> And
- 48:13>> you have custody of both of them.
- 48:15>> I do.
- 48:16>> What is mom's name?
- 48:17>> Technically shared, but they live with
- 48:19me and go to see her in the summer. So I
- 48:21I we call it shared but I really Mom's
- 48:24name is
- 48:25>> Landon. L A N D E N.
- 48:27>> That's in
- 48:28>> Do you know her last name?
- 48:30>> Hi. H I O T.
- 48:32>> Date of birth
- 48:34>> uh
- 48:35>> 411
- 48:35>> 41185.
- 48:37>> And we have one other child in the home
- 48:39as well. Her biological daughter.
- 48:41>> Okay. What is mom phone number?
- 48:44>> Phone number?
- 48:44>> Yep.
- 48:45>> Biological.
- 48:46>> And you said your biological daughter?
- 48:48>> Harley.
- 48:50H U N Harley.
- 48:52>> Oh, Harley.
- 48:53>> Yes, sir.
- 48:57>> What's Harley?
- 48:58>> 5102.
- 49:00>> That's mom's.
- 49:11>> You mentioned younger children in the
- 49:12Hulk.
- 49:13>> Well, mainly I was meeting Elena because
- 49:16here's what happened. One of the people
- 49:17called this morning and
- 49:19She was sleeping and heard a lot of
- 49:22conversations and she's been like just
- 49:24crying and things like that. So, yeah.
- 49:26And she already has like preconditioner
- 49:29and anxiety, but she gets very
- 49:31>> it's worked up easily.
- 49:32>> Yeah. Worked up easily. So, I just she's
- 49:34she's having a hard time cuz like the
- 49:36National Guard came earlier. So many
- 49:38people been coming. So, she's it's a
- 49:41lot. So, like we said, um I guess the
- 49:46search history had been deleted, but
- 49:47like that
- 49:49one right there, Monday afternoon, I and
- 49:52I don't know I I I don't see a time on
- 49:54that, so I don't know when that
- 49:55happened, but I'm sure that could be
- 49:58found, but it says, "Can my parent find
- 50:00my cell phone if it's off?" So,
- 50:03I don't know if he intended to take the
- 50:05phone.
- 50:06>> Where does FGTV
- 50:10live? That's So this FGTV is some little
- 50:13kids show that they w both the kids
- 50:15watch and um they got both famous
- 50:17YouTubers like YouTube thing that's
- 50:19going on.
- 50:20>> So but he left.
- 50:21>> Is he talking is he talking to any
- 50:22girls?
- 50:23>> No, actually I I joke with him about
- 50:25that but he
- 50:26>> cuz he had a puberty class and he was
- 50:27like ew I don't want to do like
- 50:29>> Yeah, they just had to go to puberty
- 50:31class at school. So he's still doing
- 50:33phase. Yeah. Go ahead.
- 50:37Now, if you see the messages that say to
- 50:39mommy in the last date, that's me
- 50:41talking to his mom [laughter] because I
- 50:43don't I don't give her my
- 50:44>> to see if you get any uh searches and
- 50:47stuff on the maps.
- 50:50>> Oh my god.
- 50:52>> So, he searched for 10315 declaration. I
- 50:55was at you guys.
- 50:59>> Declaration is probably somewhere. It's
- 51:02probably somewhere
- 51:04old glory. Yeah, it's probably something
- 51:06that we were
- 51:08>> It could have been things that
- 51:09>> What date was that?
- 51:10>> 10315 Declaration Drive.
- 51:13>> When was that?
- 51:15>> Is this Classic Homes Ranch?
- 51:17>> Yeah, I mean that's our neighborhood,
- 51:18>> right?
- 51:19>> Declaration Declaration.
- 51:21>> I didn't look for any
- 51:22>> defin
- 51:27or whatever.
- 51:28>> But we were we were driving around over
- 51:30there and somebody said that they saw a
- 51:33camera
- 51:35So that was the old
- 51:37>> address.
- 51:42Huh?
- 51:43>> Yeah.
- 51:44>> Wow. I didn't think about looking at
- 51:45that.
- 51:47>> But does How does it make any sense cuz
- 51:49he went the other direction?
- 51:50>> Um
- 51:523. I feel like that's someone's address.
- 51:55>> That's somebody. Yeah.
- 51:56>> I mean like I mean
- 51:58>> I don't know
- 51:58>> some of the people is is it recently?
- 52:01Because like
- 52:01>> So this is this is how it was. So when I
- 52:03pulled up his map
- 52:09address
- 52:12>> so when I click on it I don't
- 52:14>> but if you just put Morrison Ranch so is
- 52:16that's a random address for that office
- 52:19search for an address
- 52:24show up in map just see
- 52:29I'll send the car down to that we'll
- 52:32figure out what that is.
- 52:34>> It's in motion range. I know it's it's
- 52:35right there off to the south thing.
- 52:38>> No, it's got to be right by their house,
- 52:42>> but it's kind of farther towards the
- 52:43school than our house toward that back
- 52:45side of the neighborhood.
- 52:46>> We're up right at the front.
- 52:49>> That first section.
- 52:50>> Well, what model iPhone is that?
- 52:53>> What is that?
- 52:54>> That's like a six
- 52:58>> shirt.
- 53:04They're over here.
- 53:05>> So, this here is it's a computer search
- 53:07waiver, but
- 53:08>> we're going to use cell phone.
- 53:10>> So, basically, um what the cell phone
- 53:13waivers would say um is that we're going
- 53:16to we're going to dump this phone with
- 53:18your permission. You have the
- 53:20constitutional right not to have it
- 53:22searched without having a warrant. I
- 53:24think that at this point in time it
- 53:26would be good to start it.
- 53:28>> But everything that's on that
- 53:31>> to include all deleted items,
- 53:32everything. It just makes a copy of
- 53:34everything
- 53:35>> and then we'll get it back to you
- 53:37>> and we'll analyze the copy that we take
- 53:39from it. Um again, it's you're you're
- 53:42providing consent. I can't coersse you
- 53:44into doing it. Um and I would have to
- 53:46obtain a search warrant if I if you
- 53:48didn't consent.
- 53:49>> Uh 28,
- 53:51>> I believe. So, yep.
- 53:53>> 28.
- 53:53>> [laughter]
- 53:57>> So, we will we'll keep the phone
- 54:01>> and start searching for that. Searching
- 54:04through that.
- 54:06>> Where might he go other than does he
- 54:09have any other relatives in the area?
- 54:11>> Nothing.
- 54:12>> No relatives in the area.
- 54:13>> It's just us and those three friends. It
- 54:15was like
- 54:16>> Yeah, I don't know. I don't recognize
- 54:18that house.
- 54:18>> Yeah, we're just in the car over there.
- 54:20figure out why it's why it's installed.
- 54:24>> Uh did you ask about the math salt
- 54:26mouse? The address.
- 54:28>> Yeah. So, we don't know the
- 54:30>> just the friend. We don't know who the
- 54:32friend is.
- 54:33>> And then I can show you all it said.
- 54:35>> All he said to me was Bassel. It's like
- 54:38do we have any?
- 54:39>> Cuz he wanted to take him to a friend's
- 54:41house.
- 54:42>> Yeah. And let me let me pull up so
- 54:43>> I mean get it wrong.
- 54:48>> Huh?
- 54:54You ordered this for you? Oh, thank you.
- 54:56And then I got another water for you.
- 54:59>> Um,
- 55:03>> thank you so much.
- 55:09>> So, you can just read through it. It
- 55:10starts I was in Oklahoma. It starts
- 55:12right there. So, you can just scroll
- 55:14down. So, not to get as detailed as we
- 55:16did with him. He's been having some
- 55:17stomach problems. So that's when he
- 55:19talks about his tummy. He had a little
- 55:21made a little accident, dropped a
- 55:22candle. So he was upset about that. But
- 55:24then you can read the part about bass
- 55:25salts.
- 55:28>> And in context with that, at the same
- 55:29time when as soon as he said bass salts,
- 55:31I got on the phone with her and was
- 55:32like, "Hey, get cuz we do have something
- 55:35to take, you know, legit take bath and
- 55:37stuff." I said, "Get it all, hide it,
- 55:38put it away till we figure out what's
- 55:40going to be."
- 55:41>> He did ask me the date for.
- 55:42>> Yeah.
- 55:42>> And I gave him a bath bomb cuz I didn't.
- 55:46>> So like, see, it's very vague. There's
- 55:47no like
- 55:49friend's name or or where they live or
- 55:51anything cuz the intent was to have that
- 55:54conversation
- 55:56>> face to face or whatever.
- 56:15I'm sorry. When did you say you went to
- 56:16Fort Phil?
- 56:17>> I left Sunday morning. Well, actually, I
- 56:19went Sunday night cuz my mom flew out
- 56:21Sunday or Saturday night. My flight was
- 56:24Sunday morning and then uh I got of
- 56:26course got there Sunday at one day of
- 56:29class and then this all happened Monday
- 56:30night. So, which was Yeah. Yesterday I
- 56:34came back and
- 56:35>> What time did you guys go to Pet House?
- 56:38I don't know. I mean, I could probably
- 56:40look there, but what time we set
- 56:42tomorrow?
- 56:43>> Okay. Monday.
- 56:45>> That was Sunday, right?
- 56:46>> No, Sunday was
- 56:48>> we went hiking on Sunday.
- 56:50>> You didn't go to PCO Sunday.
- 56:51>> No, we went Monday.
- 56:53>> Yeah, cuz it was just me again and again
- 56:56cuz the stomach
- 56:57>> Okay, cool. [laughter]
- 57:00>> cuz Lena went hiking, but Lena wasn't
- 57:10What was that?
- 57:14>> What?
- 57:18>> Yesterday was 27th.
- 57:20>> How you
- 57:32got that audience?
- 57:35You said you're sending a car to the
- 57:37house.
- 57:38>> The only thing I can think of though if
- 57:40that was the person that we took the
- 57:42jingle basket to.
- 57:43>> Why would you use his phone?
- 57:44>> Gana was with me.
- 57:47>> Okay.
- 57:47>> So, if it ends up being the person like
- 57:49the neighborhood see the jingle basket.
- 57:51That's the only thing cuz it was
- 57:52somebody in Morrison and Rich. I don't
- 57:54remember the address. It's where you go
- 57:55like when people that would have been
- 57:57December. So, I don't know what day that
- 58:00I don't know if that's their address.
- 58:01I'm just saying. any clothes missing?
- 58:07>> 27.
- 58:08>> Like I said, like literally from what
- 58:09she explained, everything was consistent
- 58:12with I'm going to play with my friends.
- 58:14So, it's like whatever clothes he had
- 58:15on.
- 58:16>> He had we make him put his play shoes
- 58:18on. We got nice shoes and play shoes. He
- 58:19had his play shoes on. So, I mean, it
- 58:22was pretty obvious that his intent was
- 58:24like, I'm not leaving, but I'm going to
- 58:26play and I'm, you know, doing everything
- 58:28I'm supposed to do. And she let him take
- 58:29a switch. I mean that's we don't really
- 58:32ever do that. So
- 58:36>> when was the last time he talked to his
- 58:38mom, his biological mother?
- 58:40>> He talked to her Sunday.
- 58:42>> He had been talking to he talked to her,
- 58:44right? They talk almost I say
- 58:45>> know that he did
- 58:46>> five times a week.
- 58:47>> No, cuz
- 58:48>> I know he talked to her Friday and
- 58:49Saturday cuz my mom was here and you
- 58:51know he he was on the phone with
- 58:53Thursday.
- 58:55>> Sorry, there's just a lot of 27s. I'm
- 58:57just trying to see
- 59:05You said biom's coming in from
- 59:07>> Yeah, she's on the way now. I think she
- 59:08just got on a plane. South Carolina.
- 59:11>> Yeah, that's where we're all originally
- 59:12from. South Carolina, but I'm here for
- 59:14the military. So, um
- 59:17I mean, not to add any confusion to it,
- 59:20but like the mom's married to a guy
- 59:23that's got a lot of trouble with the
- 59:24law. That was one of my first instincts
- 59:26when it was like when the come and go
- 59:28thing came up and they said that he
- 59:29walked in all notch and all like
- 59:31everything was normal. It was like like
- 59:33the dude was here or something cuz he's
- 59:35he's got a lot of trouble like that in
- 59:37his background. So I was like it came to
- 59:39my mind. It's worth putting down but I
- 59:42mean I don't know if it's anything
- 59:43legit.
- 59:43>> Does she have your address?
- 59:46>> Yeah, she does.
- 59:50I know we dis It says I disarmed the
- 59:52panel at
- 59:54>> Monday, January 27th at 2:29. So that's
- 59:58when we would have and I set the back
- 59:59door to close
- 1:00:02>> cuz I would have liked for the dogs out
- 1:00:03back then. So that's when I
- 1:00:05>> That's when you got home.
- 1:00:06>> I came home. I'm still scrolling up. I
- 1:00:08just didn't want to have to go in the
- 1:00:08back. And then let's see. It says
- 1:00:14basement motion.
- 1:00:16I might have didn't set I had to set the
- 1:00:18alarm. It's not showing when I set the
- 1:00:19alarm, but it says um living room and
- 1:00:22basement motion at 10:10 a.m.
- 1:00:28>> Oh, here it is. Armed by master right
- 1:00:30here. So, Monday, January 27th, I armed
- 1:00:33the alarm at 10:05 a.m.
- 1:00:38>> 10:05 you guys went.
- 1:00:40>> That's what time I armed it. So, I'm
- 1:00:42assuming
- 1:00:43>> Yeah, cuz we had motion that morning cuz
- 1:00:45we were there.
- 1:00:46>> Which alarm do you use?
- 1:00:48>> AD.
- 1:00:53>> What? What did you you participate in?
- 1:00:56Jingle
- 1:00:57>> pool. They do these little basket things
- 1:01:00where like they like a group on Facebook
- 1:01:02or wherever of like say 10 women or 10
- 1:01:05families just you set a dollar amount.
- 1:01:07It's like okay you bring a basket of
- 1:01:09stuff to their house.
- 1:01:14>> Okay.
- 1:01:14>> So it's like a secret Santa. I don't
- 1:01:16know something like that. But for the
- 1:01:17neighborhood
- 1:01:19>> I can look on the lady who sends if you
- 1:01:23want to see if that's the address she
- 1:01:24sent.
- 1:01:24>> It doesn't matter. We're going to send a
- 1:01:26car anyway. Uh so we'll make contact
- 1:01:29verify. Uh
- 1:01:32>> okay.
- 1:01:40>> It's weird that he would have that
- 1:01:41address.
- 1:01:42>> Yeah. [gasps]
- 1:01:43>> Cuz that I mean if that's like reset him
- 1:01:45I know we
- 1:01:46>> and I don't have a way to see when it
- 1:01:47will search. I can just see that the
- 1:01:49address is only address on there.
- 1:01:51>> Right. Right.
- 1:01:51>> So
- 1:01:52>> has he ever left before?
- 1:01:54>> No. I can tell you I mean I know every
- 1:01:58parent says this but he's a he's pretty
- 1:02:00pretty straight straight up kid and uh
- 1:02:04if ever he does well like the only thing
- 1:02:06he ever sneaks is you know playing his
- 1:02:08games if he's grounded or something
- 1:02:10that's that's it I mean other than that
- 1:02:13he you know he does his chores I mean
- 1:02:15he's makes straight A's kindhearted I
- 1:02:17mean fusses with his sister but
- 1:02:19>> add to that I know if you're okay with
- 1:02:21saying that the counselor has said
- 1:02:23everything
- 1:02:25>> so I I because of um
- 1:02:28so his mom and the situation with that
- 1:02:31her husband like she she basically has
- 1:02:34lost everything doesn't have a place to
- 1:02:36live a lot you know been on drugs and
- 1:02:39stuff so I got custody of them it's been
- 1:02:41pretty hard you know for any kid and um
- 1:02:44I went through some of that as a kid so
- 1:02:45I was like let's get them counseling
- 1:02:47just just to be you know certain there's
- 1:02:49nothing that they're dealing with and
- 1:02:50they know it's okay to talk so they go
- 1:02:53like once a month on base And uh I
- 1:02:55always ask at the end of the session,
- 1:02:57hey, is there anything alarming that he
- 1:02:59brought up or anything I need to know
- 1:03:01about? And
- 1:03:02>> yeah, and she always
- 1:03:03>> for him it's it's nothing that he's just
- 1:03:04open and you know, he's going through
- 1:03:06normal emotions of uh you know, loving
- 1:03:09mom and loving dad and stuff like that,
- 1:03:11but nothing like hey, you need to
- 1:03:14>> Does he go on Carson?
- 1:03:15>> Yes.
- 1:03:16>> And what's his counselor's name?
- 1:03:18>> Dr. Bzack. I have her number if you
- 1:03:20want.
- 1:03:20>> Yeah, that'd be great. So looking
- 1:03:22through this phone and listening to you
- 1:03:24is exactly as looking through my
- 1:03:2612-year-old's phone and talking to him.
- 1:03:28I mean Jack, he communicates over a
- 1:03:31couple game chats. He plays his game on,
- 1:03:34you know,
- 1:03:35>> he got he played three computer games.
- 1:03:37>> No, this is it right here. [laughter]
- 1:03:38>> And and I have I refused unless he's
- 1:03:40done it behind my back. I know he gets
- 1:03:43on YouTube and watches some stuff, but I
- 1:03:45have absolutely said no online gaming.
- 1:03:47So unless he's got on there and figured
- 1:03:49it out then
- 1:03:50>> so not not necessarily communicating
- 1:03:52through the game. They have apps and
- 1:03:54stuff that you can talk back and forth
- 1:03:57with your friend
- 1:03:57>> maybe
- 1:03:58>> while you game and stuff and he likes to
- 1:04:00use those instead of text messages.
- 1:04:03>> He uses he uses different hands. I was
- 1:04:05looking to see if I recognized any of
- 1:04:06the names and onesh [laughter]
- 1:04:10our son uses that he gets trouble for.
- 1:04:12>> Yeah.
- 1:04:13>> So I don't recognize any of them on
- 1:04:15there from what he uses. Uh
- 1:04:19>> yeah, and usually once again he's pretty
- 1:04:23innocent by by telling us or at least
- 1:04:26hinting at things and he's never even
- 1:04:28like said, "Oh, I learned this from
- 1:04:30this." Well, how he learns is he
- 1:04:32researches like YouTube and stuff.
- 1:04:35>> The way he was talking to you in those
- 1:04:36text messages about is he going to be in
- 1:04:38trouble if he still plays stuff like
- 1:04:40that. But I did block him from the Wi-Fi
- 1:04:43because he was using Tik Tok and he had
- 1:04:45up something about choking.
- 1:04:47>> Yes, I I that I noticed and you know
- 1:04:51paying attention to you know what the
- 1:04:52news and all that I
- 1:04:55>> I banned them from Tik Tok and said
- 1:04:57remove it from all your devices because
- 1:04:59of the bad I'm sure there's good stuff
- 1:05:01but that stuff that encourages those
- 1:05:03challenges or whatever is going on.
- 1:05:04>> When was that?
- 1:05:06>> Within the past week.
- 1:05:07>> Yeah. I took him off like he was gone to
- 1:05:08Xfinity lock for
- 1:05:11>> and shut his eyes off. Yes, you did
- 1:05:12that.
- 1:05:13>> So, I did that because I look over and
- 1:05:15it was some some people were choking and
- 1:05:18quarters and I don't know what they were
- 1:05:20doing. He was like I guess to get high
- 1:05:23>> like you choke yourself or something.
- 1:05:25>> And so he was laughing but I think he
- 1:05:29saw it as just people being silly. I
- 1:05:32don't think he was realizing like
- 1:05:33>> how serious
- 1:05:34>> how serious that was. So I told him the
- 1:05:36story of my brother, which was a true
- 1:05:38story. He was playing a quarter game and
- 1:05:40it went down his throat and he had to be
- 1:05:41rushed to the hospital, blah blah blah
- 1:05:43blah. So then he kind of looked at me
- 1:05:44like, you know, like it was serious. So
- 1:05:46I didn't think anything else about it.
- 1:05:49Didn't think he was going to do anything
- 1:05:50like that. I just thought he was having
- 1:05:52he thought it funny.
- 1:05:54>> You see the the kid is so like
- 1:05:57tenderarted like his
- 1:06:00I I know the kids are obviously
- 1:06:02influenced. We know that.
- 1:06:04He would never like was smoking or
- 1:06:07anything like that because his his mom's
- 1:06:10has done got into that stuff since we
- 1:06:12split up and his stepdad as well. And
- 1:06:15then and his grandma his mom's mom
- 1:06:17smokes real bad
- 1:06:18>> and so he knows that that causes, you
- 1:06:22know, bad stuff.
- 1:06:23>> But then the thing was in his book bag
- 1:06:26was in his book bag. So we found she
- 1:06:28found after the bath house after the
- 1:06:30bath sauce I said go check his book bag
- 1:06:32just in case you initially she found
- 1:06:34nothing but then after he disappeared
- 1:06:36then went back and
- 1:06:37>> No, I didn't let her go look at
- 1:06:39initially.
- 1:06:39>> Oh, I thought she looked.
- 1:06:40>> No, you asked me to go look at it, but
- 1:06:42we I was I was doing other things found
- 1:06:45a two pack of those little Swisser
- 1:06:46suits.
- 1:06:47>> Yeah, I sent Harley.
- 1:06:49>> I don't know. Somebody had to give him
- 1:06:50those.
- 1:06:51>> When did you find those?
- 1:06:52>> Last night.
- 1:06:53>> Yeah. So I sent Harley to go do it. So
- 1:06:55Harley was like pulling out the bad
- 1:06:57stuff and she's like, "Oh, I didn't see
- 1:06:58anything." And then the folk, she had a
- 1:07:00folder in her hand, dropped that folder.
- 1:07:02So she immediately text out, but didn't
- 1:07:05look like anything.
- 1:07:06>> Who's his best friend? I was just
- 1:07:08>> It was kids that didn't
- 1:07:11>> Conor not not as much cuz have we been
- 1:07:13to their house?
- 1:07:15>> Uh I don't know. Did they talk to the
- 1:07:17police last night?
- 1:07:18>> Connor's mom did.
- 1:07:19>> Conor's mom was there. But uh I was
- 1:07:21texting the other parents cuz they were
- 1:07:23out in the neighborhood looking.
- 1:07:24>> Was Brady's parents?
- 1:07:26>> Yeah. Out in the neighborhood looking
- 1:07:27around. Yeah.
- 1:07:28>> You talked to Braden's parents.
- 1:07:29>> I'm not sure if y'all talked to Braden's
- 1:07:31parent.
- 1:07:31>> I know you I know they talked to
- 1:07:32Braden's mom because she was at our
- 1:07:36know that you talked to Connor's mom,
- 1:07:37but I do know she was there for the time
- 1:07:40there.
- 1:07:40>> What is the Rubicon Drive address?
- 1:07:43[clears throat]
- 1:07:43>> Rubicon Drive address. So Lily and
- 1:07:47um are you like the friends that live on
- 1:07:50that address? Okay. 9865 Rubicon Drive.
- 1:07:54>> I don't know the number, but the Lily
- 1:07:56and Reese I spoke about earlier, they
- 1:07:57live on Rubicon, which I think is a
- 1:07:59street right behind us. Is that Rubicon?
- 1:08:02>> Yeah. Yeah, Rubicon's behind us, but I
- 1:08:03don't know anybody. I thought Gaplin was
- 1:08:05behind us.
- 1:08:06>> Okay, hold on. Let me look at it.
- 1:08:08>> What is it again?
- 1:08:10>> Rubicon
- 1:08:11>> 9865 Ruben iPad.
- 1:08:14>> No. No. What is this? Something we
- 1:08:16>> That was the usual hangout. Yeah.
- 1:08:18>> Oh, okay. Who gave you this?
- 1:08:20>> It was listed in the report. You
- 1:08:22[snorts] guys gave it to
- 1:08:23>> Yeah. I didn't give anybody No.
- 1:08:25>> So, there was information that he wanted
- 1:08:27to go to a party with the bath salts.
- 1:08:29That was his hookover. Is
- 1:08:31>> that right?
- 1:08:33>> But no.
- 1:08:33>> No. So, no. He said, "I want to go to a
- 1:08:35friend's house. They said bring bath
- 1:08:37salts and my older brother won't drive
- 1:08:38us around." You That's That's piecing it
- 1:08:40all together, but in his terms, that's
- 1:08:42>> Yeah. I didn't hear the same thing
- 1:08:43anybody about.
- 1:08:44>> So this Rubicon
- 1:08:46got
- 1:08:46>> So we live
- 1:08:49>> we live on Mandon right here. That
- 1:08:50Rubicon would be those boys that the
- 1:08:52Braden's family right here. I'm sure
- 1:08:54that's
- 1:08:55>> So that's Brady's house.
- 1:08:56>> I would assume that by because they
- 1:08:59don't know anybody else in Rubicon.
- 1:09:01>> Yeah, I wouldn't
- 1:09:02>> Lily and Reese live.
- 1:09:04>> Well, I don't know. Rubicon goes around
- 1:09:05here. So unless he was going somewhere
- 1:09:07right there. I don't know. But the boys
- 1:09:09do live there. Rubicon. Lily and Reese
- 1:09:11live on Capital. So I also we also have
- 1:09:13a gent back over at the come and goes.
- 1:09:16>> Okay.
- 1:09:16>> So we asked them to send us the videos.
- 1:09:19They can't do it from in the store. They
- 1:09:21have to do it office. It's a wireless
- 1:09:23system or whatever.
- 1:09:25They can send it to the deputies. He's
- 1:09:27going back over to review that.
- 1:09:29>> Linda Reese
- 1:09:33>> or Reese. Linda.
- 1:09:36>> Oh, at that uh Declaration House.
- 1:09:40I mean to know if there's any kids there
- 1:09:43would have to go to the school probably.
- 1:09:45>> That's what they're doing now. [snorts]
- 1:09:46They're going down to see if there's
- 1:09:47anybody home. They have any kids uh
- 1:09:50son's age. Okay.
- 1:09:51>> And then see why he would have searched
- 1:09:54that address etc. It starts from there.
- 1:09:56So they're heading down to do that.
- 1:10:00>> Deputy over
- 1:10:02you over there. Did you talk to Deputy
- 1:10:03Doll yesterday?
- 1:10:04>> I
- 1:10:07would have been late last night. Guys,
- 1:10:09tell it would be during it would have
- 1:10:11been probably before 140.
- 1:10:13>> I'm trying to find the only deputy I
- 1:10:15spoke with that I remember one one
- 1:10:18called me because you got you were
- 1:10:19getting overwhelmed.
- 1:10:20>> I don't know. I don't know who I spoke
- 1:10:21with. They were at the house though,
- 1:10:23right?
- 1:10:23>> There was a lot. [laughter]
- 1:10:25>> I think I think they were at the house
- 1:10:26and then
- 1:10:28>> uh Donahue.
- 1:10:29>> Donatel. [snorts] Yeah.
- 1:10:31>> Sean Donahghue.
- 1:10:32>> Oh, no. Chris Donatel.
- 1:10:34>> This is Ela El Paso County. Yes. Deputy
- 1:10:37Sean Donghue I think is the one I talked
- 1:10:38to because he said he recording.
- 1:10:40>> Okay.
- 1:10:40>> He said he would text me the case number
- 1:10:43and then then he said we got come and go
- 1:10:45footage. So I texted him back. I mean
- 1:10:47you can read the if you want.
- 1:10:48>> So the the deputy that went to the come
- 1:10:50and go.
- 1:10:52>> The clerk said oh yeah he was in the
- 1:10:55deputy reviewed the video. He did not
- 1:10:57think he did.
- 1:10:59>> He has a picture of he
- 1:11:02>> was the one viewed today or last night?
- 1:11:04last night. He's going back again today.
- 1:11:07>> But see, Johnny said basically that it
- 1:11:10was it said there was nothing out of the
- 1:11:12ordinary. He didn't seem under arrest.
- 1:11:14He left on foot. He only purchased a bag
- 1:11:16of chicks. And I continued to ask him
- 1:11:18questions about
- 1:11:19>> So I think from a clerk and a clerk
- 1:11:22said, "Yeah, it's him."
- 1:11:24>> But they definitely went through the
- 1:11:25video.
- 1:11:26>> The kid that's in the video buying the
- 1:11:28chips.
- 1:11:28>> Yeah.
- 1:11:29>> He doesn't think it's your son.
- 1:11:30>> Okay. But he's he's going to get over
- 1:11:32there back now cuz we can go over there
- 1:11:34and look at it, but we can't get a copy
- 1:11:36of it. He doesn't have that many.
- 1:11:39>> I mean, I I was over there when I don't
- 1:11:41know who was over there at like 11:30.
- 1:11:43There was another deputy over there.
- 1:11:45>> That would not have been that would not
- 1:11:46have been the guy over there.
- 1:11:49>> Yeah. So, I we were driving around. I
- 1:11:51saw a squad car, whatever there. I
- 1:11:53pulled in and I said, "Hey, can I look
- 1:11:55at the footage with you?" Says, "I I
- 1:11:57don't have permission for that." But he
- 1:11:59said, "I've looked over an hour and a
- 1:12:00half. I don't see what description of
- 1:12:04your son or something that's close to
- 1:12:05the picture."
- 1:12:06>> What text in
- 1:12:10>> um
- 1:12:12this text real quick and it's it's in my
- 1:12:13notes in there.
- 1:12:15>> Thanks a stop.
- 1:12:18>> I'll need a username and password.
- 1:12:19>> Yeah, I got it in my phone. Uh
- 1:12:23do
- 1:12:23>> you see anything in report that talks
- 1:12:24about the video?
- 1:12:28I know that
- 1:12:38>> I saw a uh a screenshot on the phone of
- 1:12:42a kid on a sidewalk or something like
- 1:12:43that. You guys that did you guys sent
- 1:12:46that? So
- 1:12:48>> there's been like a hundred um videos
- 1:12:51photos that I went through and I know
- 1:12:54that a couple of them were
- 1:12:57Well, well, it appears to be him because
- 1:12:59it's the same outfit, the same looks
- 1:13:02like, you know, people sping on the So,
- 1:13:05we had like 400 comments to go through
- 1:13:09people that
- 1:13:09>> that should be the iCloud
- 1:13:10>> that we sent
- 1:13:11>> username and password for his phone was
- 1:13:13available. We wrote them back and then
- 1:13:15um him or whatever. So, yeah.
- 1:13:18>> Yeah, you can write all that and that's
- 1:13:19the the Gmail username and password.
- 1:13:22>> Oh, yeah. Do you care if I just take a
- 1:13:24picture of that?
- 1:13:25>> How about I screenshot it and send it to
- 1:13:26you?
- 1:13:27>> That's like it was on Gaplin.
- 1:13:30Um, one of them I sent to my husband. I
- 1:13:32just don't remember where this
- 1:13:34>> really weird up there. That's
- 1:13:36>> G. Gap's behind us.
- 1:13:37>> Buddy's a cap.
- 1:13:38>> Oh, yeah. No,
- 1:13:40>> that's okay.
- 1:13:41>> Way up in the
- 1:13:42>> message. All right. What's your uh
- 1:13:43what's your number?
- 1:13:45>> 719 208
- 1:13:47146.
- 1:14:02And I just left my That's my daughter's
- 1:14:03iCloud, too. Not that it'll matter, but
- 1:14:06just in case. I just left that one on
- 1:14:07there for you.
- 1:14:08>> You're pretty sure that's her.
- 1:14:09>> Yeah. Okay.
- 1:14:11>> But I mean,
- 1:14:12>> so where was this one taken at what
- 1:14:14time? I uh I need to look back to all
- 1:14:17the messages that I just screenshotted
- 1:14:20upon started sending the
- 1:14:22>> Can I give you a number to send that
- 1:14:24picture to?
- 1:14:25>> I'm going to send it to the guy that's
- 1:14:26overlooking the video.
- 1:14:35719
- 1:14:43>> 43 56 57
- 1:14:54>> And that one was that one was somewhere
- 1:14:55open by your house.
- 1:14:57>> Yeah. What what video here? We did.
- 1:14:58>> You over at the come and go interview
- 1:15:02Safeway. I was like I don't believe they
- 1:15:03pop this off anymore.
- 1:15:06>> So I did see he has a whole bunch of
- 1:15:07emails for Safeway.
- 1:15:09>> Well, this is why this is that's this is
- 1:15:11why. So we'll all be in there and they
- 1:15:14only let you do the just for you keep on
- 1:15:16clipping. So everybody in the house with
- 1:15:19phones have to get has to get it so we
- 1:15:21can
- 1:15:22>> scam.
- 1:15:24[laughter]
- 1:15:25I for the very first time I get random
- 1:15:27emails.
- 1:15:27>> You'll notice king stickers on my email
- 1:15:30box.
- 1:15:31>> Yeah,
- 1:15:31>> I got to check my number.
- 1:15:34>> Yes, that's why
- 1:15:36it's all that's
- 1:15:39>> and then I'll get in there and be like,
- 1:15:41"Oh, what number am I putting in?" and
- 1:15:42try them all.
- 1:15:43>> Has anybody searched you guys' house?
- 1:15:44Yeah.
- 1:15:46>> Yeah. So last that was the first thing
- 1:15:48they did was uh it was about six people
- 1:15:53um showed up and because we waited oh
- 1:15:56about 4 hours and the first thing they
- 1:15:59come in they just were like hey we need
- 1:16:02to get your ID you know you have to run
- 1:16:04in like I guess like search and and
- 1:16:06stuff like that and then they said well
- 1:16:09um typically or sometimes kids can like
- 1:16:13hide and someone told me something about
- 1:16:15>> kids could in the dryer and not realize
- 1:16:17that they couldn't breathe or you know
- 1:16:19like different places. So the guy went
- 1:16:22through every room and all the officers
- 1:16:24and everybody else like stood this way
- 1:16:26and he did like flashlights and checked
- 1:16:29all the spots to make sure he wasn't
- 1:16:31like hiding because at this point it had
- 1:16:34already been so long. I had if he he
- 1:16:36doesn't ever come in to hide. He might
- 1:16:38do like a play like jump behind that
- 1:16:40thing but not like anything specific.
- 1:16:43Yeah. So he went in like all of our
- 1:16:46closets. We like
- 1:16:49everybody was silent. Then we then we
- 1:16:50looked at the alarm to see like if there
- 1:16:53was any motion that might have been in
- 1:16:56any direction that we, you know, like we
- 1:16:58didn't know. And
- 1:17:00>> so we spent Oh, I didn't do it. He
- 1:17:02didn't. We spent a while doing that.
- 1:17:04Went over certain things like they
- 1:17:05walked me around. They were like, "Does
- 1:17:07he always leave this here?" or the
- 1:17:09clothes that were laid out cuz we lay
- 1:17:11when he goes out of town and it's and
- 1:17:13like just me there. I try to lay out all
- 1:17:15the clothes and I do it for him too if
- 1:17:17I'm somewhere so they can just get up
- 1:17:19and find their clothes. So [laughter]
- 1:17:20they were like all these clothes are
- 1:17:22laid out and I was like yeah Monday,
- 1:17:23Tuesday, Wednesday cuz he's got like two
- 1:17:26beds so he uses the other bed like
- 1:17:28layout all his stuff. So they walk
- 1:17:30through. We just asked them simple
- 1:17:31questions. Would he normally do this?
- 1:17:33Would he normally do that?
- 1:17:40We're working on the Nintendo right now.
- 1:17:48>> What do they got going on?
- 1:17:56>> Okay.
- 1:17:58>> Does he have a gamer ID
- 1:18:00>> on that Switch?
- 1:18:01>> Um,
- 1:18:03>> yeah. You don't remember the game for
- 1:18:06come through on the phone.
- 1:18:07>> Can I see this font? It might be.
- 1:18:11>> Oh yeah.
- 1:18:12>> Yeah, we he had one and then we got the
- 1:18:15new system we just created a password
- 1:18:17for it. So
- 1:18:21he said, "Hey, you got a vehicle
- 1:18:23register
- 1:18:25all over the place." What they're
- 1:18:26saying?
- 1:18:26>> Um, come out
- 1:18:28>> when he goes to play. I know you had
- 1:18:30said that you have to like basically
- 1:18:31kick him out the door to go
- 1:18:33>> ride his bike in that, but when he does
- 1:18:35play outside, where does he go?
- 1:18:37>> Goes to Braden's house.
- 1:18:38>> Well, you don't have to kick him outside
- 1:18:39if he's not on his medicine.
- 1:18:41>> Cool.
- 1:18:41>> If he's not on his medicine, he's hyper.
- 1:18:44He'll go to
- 1:18:45>> But hey, how you doing?
- 1:18:47>> If he's on his medicine, it's more like
- 1:18:49a till it wears off cuz he takes five
- 1:18:52minutes for ADHD. So until it wears off,
- 1:18:55it might be a, you know, like I don't
- 1:18:58want to play like zombie mode at first.
- 1:19:01>> So when it wears off, like if it's the
- 1:19:03weekend, we give it to him cuz we have
- 1:19:04to go to church. He would not go outside
- 1:19:06on a Sunday because it's still in the
- 1:19:07system of church.
- 1:19:09>> But he didn't take it because he he
- 1:19:11didn't take it Saturday. He didn't take
- 1:19:13it cuz we went hiking cuz we did a six
- 1:19:15mile hike. He didn't take it Sunday. I'm
- 1:19:17sorry, that was Sunday. He didn't take
- 1:19:19it Saturday. He didn't take it Sunday.
- 1:19:20And he didn't take it Monday, which
- 1:19:22caused the stomach problem. Oh,
- 1:19:24>> so so he was office medicine.
- 1:19:26>> Did you go into that come and go live?
- 1:19:28>> No.
- 1:19:30>> I don't even think we ever
- 1:19:33>> It said the manager of the store
- 1:19:35>> says knows the kid. He comes in
- 1:19:37frequently with his dad.
- 1:19:40>> So, and that's not us, right? Which
- 1:19:42which we con we commonly have. Some see
- 1:19:44something go, oh yeah, that's a kid I
- 1:19:46see. So, they said that they the kid
- 1:19:48that they're seeing.
- 1:19:49>> They're saying it's him said he knows
- 1:19:51him. He comes in all the time with you
- 1:19:52>> vote like
- 1:19:55that long ago. It's definitely not
- 1:19:56enough for a clerk to help the um
- 1:20:00>> no
- 1:20:03this says ever been that
- 1:20:06>> I don't know if we go you get gas over
- 1:20:09here
- 1:20:10>> that's always
- 1:20:12purchase stuff sometimes.
- 1:20:14>> Okay. So the account associated
- 1:20:19Thank you.
- 1:20:22>> I think
- 1:20:24information should be the
- 1:20:26>> I don't think he was last seen by
- 1:20:28>> sounds like
- 1:20:32I I don't think he was last seen
- 1:20:35with the the guy that origin
- 1:20:44I might have been there one time. The
- 1:20:46deputy was looking. The deputy did not
- 1:20:47think it was him. She was after to see
- 1:20:50if there's a kid that he sees in the
- 1:20:51store that he buys the chips, gets back
- 1:20:54into this car. I don't think that's I
- 1:20:57don't I don't think
- 1:20:59I could be wrong, but it does not look
- 1:21:00like that to me based on
- 1:21:06what you do.
- 1:21:08>> I have a lieutenant and a deputy going
- 1:21:09down to that uh decoration address right
- 1:21:12now. Can we give him down to them? Were
- 1:21:15you guys knocking or deputies that were
- 1:21:17on foot this morning checking the golf
- 1:21:19course?
- 1:21:20>> Yeah, cuz we saw him put the light on
- 1:21:21and we felt like there was people out
- 1:21:23there, but they were doing like another
- 1:21:25call, so he like kind of chased them
- 1:21:26down.
- 1:21:27>> Well, no, it was actually it was
- 1:21:28actually for you. They didn't know what
- 1:21:30they were going to find and whatnot.
- 1:21:31They didn't want to all give people
- 1:21:33around. They were checking on a tent and
- 1:21:36there was some noise coming from shed.
- 1:21:38>> I think they was in that golf course
- 1:21:40area.
- 1:21:41>> So, they went in and searched it. Did
- 1:21:43you see where the defense was pushed
- 1:21:44down?
- 1:21:45>> He was not.
- 1:21:46>> But I want you to know I just that was
- 1:21:47them looking like
- 1:21:50tips.
- 1:21:51>> Oh, cuz they were just like we were
- 1:21:53going to talk to somebody and we both
- 1:21:54drove off and was like
- 1:21:56>> we both drove like we both drove off and
- 1:21:59like we're going to witch to talk to
- 1:22:01people cuz we thought like okay whatever
- 1:22:03and drove off.
- 1:22:04>> So they were going into that area cuz
- 1:22:06there's a there's a an abandoned shed or
- 1:22:08something back and they went in there.
- 1:22:10expens
- 1:22:12going there and messing around.
- 1:22:14>> They were going there looking.
- 1:22:16>> I mean like I'm glad they weren't like
- 1:22:18saying it would have been like
- 1:22:20>> they just didn't they didn't want to.
- 1:22:22>> Yeah, we got a tick. You might be over
- 1:22:23here and you know 30 people are running
- 1:22:25toward your shed.
- 1:22:26>> Exactly.
- 1:22:27>> Yeah.
- 1:22:32>> All right. You guys come up with
- 1:22:37>> me. I would like to talk to
- 1:22:43people out there. You know what I mean?
- 1:22:47They might know where this party is
- 1:22:48supposed to be.
- 1:22:49>> What color is Braden's house?
- 1:22:52>> I don't want to talk to their parents.
- 1:22:54>> I don't handle anything. I don't even
- 1:22:56know. I think it's like tan. I've never
- 1:22:58spoke to their parents. So now
- 1:23:00>> who is your husband know?
- 1:23:01>> I think it's like tan.
- 1:23:04>> [clears throat]
- 1:23:08>> I mean, I drove by and I just Eugene.
- 1:23:13>> They need to ask you.
- 1:23:14>> Oh, yeah. Just
- 1:23:16>> What color is Braden's house?
- 1:23:18>> I didn't.
- 1:23:19>> Is it on your street?
- 1:23:23>> So, come in our neighborhood.
- 1:23:25>> Our house is like 13, something like
- 1:23:28that.
- 1:23:30>> T intersection. Dead end right here.
- 1:23:32There's CRA who I referenced and then
- 1:23:36Braden. Basically, you come and you go
- 1:23:38straight to their house from the
- 1:23:40intersection.
- 1:23:41>> So, this is this is us. That's uh
- 1:23:44Mandon,
- 1:23:46right? Find out about that declaration
- 1:23:48house. If nobody's there, we'll start
- 1:23:49doing some backd
- 1:23:58>> which uh she's in there somewhere as
- 1:23:59well. Last time we talked, where's
- 1:24:01Connor at?
- 1:24:02>> Connor, they live over
- 1:24:04>> like academy or something
- 1:24:06>> somewhere. Yeah, over way over off
- 1:24:07academy. It's just his mom teaches at
- 1:24:09that Webster school or works there. So
- 1:24:11that he goes to that
- 1:24:12>> Conor's mom's number.
- 1:24:14>> Did you give her that? Did he?
- 1:24:16>> No, we got sidracked.
- 1:24:18>> She 15 other things.
- 1:24:19>> Yeah.
- 1:24:20>> Sorry.
- 1:24:22>> So Braden is on Rudon.
- 1:24:25>> He goes by.
- 1:24:27Yeah. Who am I looking for? Oh,
- 1:24:30>> Connor's mom.
- 1:24:32>> Yeah. So,
- 1:24:35>> you guys let me know in the movie. I'm
- 1:24:36going head down that direction.
- 1:24:37>> Okay. Folks, we're doing everything we
- 1:24:39can for you right now. You guys know we
- 1:24:41got your number. Make sure your phone
- 1:24:42stays charged. Okay.
- 1:24:43>> Okay. Thank you.
- 1:24:46>> Okay.
- 1:24:47>> That'll work.
- 1:24:48>> And so, this is uh
- 1:24:52school. It's down here. Grand Mountain.
- 1:24:55>> Just a reference.
- 1:24:57>> And what is it? What is it? Fontaine.
- 1:24:59>> Fontaine.
- 1:24:59>> Fontaine was the main
- 1:25:00>> main drag coming in,
- 1:25:02>> right?
- 1:25:03>> Mark shuffle.
- 1:25:05>> Yep.
- 1:25:07>> I do know that part.
- 1:25:09>> We're the first turn when you come in.
- 1:25:11Anyways.
- 1:25:12>> Okay. Perfect.
- 1:25:15So, what I think we're going to do is
- 1:25:16we're going to
- 1:25:18Do you have a card on my card? Um, we're
- 1:25:23gonna head down to talk to to see if we
- 1:25:26can get a hold of Braden.
- 1:25:29>> See what time
- 1:25:34>> might be in school. Um, we may and he
- 1:25:37goes he goes to Grand Mountain.
- 1:25:39>> Yeah, they all the whole neighborhood
- 1:25:41does now.
- 1:25:41>> Except Conor. Okay.
- 1:25:43>> Well, Conor's because he's way over here
- 1:25:44somewhere. Off him.
- 1:25:47>> Braden does.
- 1:25:48>> We're going to try and talk to Braden.
- 1:25:50We're going to get a dump on the phone.
- 1:25:52>> Um, Sergeant Hess, your guy that was
- 1:25:55sitting here, um, he's also working on
- 1:25:58things in the area too with other
- 1:26:00patrols. He's sort of like the lead for
- 1:26:02in the field.
- 1:26:03>> We're going to see what information we
- 1:26:05can gather from there.
- 1:26:06>> Um, and
- 1:26:07>> I will inform you guys as soon as I can.
- 1:26:10If what we find,
- 1:26:12>> if something comes up, no matter how
- 1:26:14minute, please call us. Okay.
- 1:26:17um that 208 number that you texted,
- 1:26:20that's my direct cell.
- 1:26:22>> So, um and I think I I called you from
- 1:26:24it, so you should have an phone. So,
- 1:26:26yeah, hit me up. Let me know what's
- 1:26:28going on. If I don't answer immediately,
- 1:26:30send me a text, too.
- 1:26:31>> Okay.
- 1:26:32>> Okay.
- 1:26:33>> All right, guys.
- 1:26:34>> At 14, Deborah Lleair sends a text
- 1:26:37message to Leticia and says, "Do you
- 1:26:39think he ran away?" And Leticia said,
- 1:26:41"No."
- 1:26:43And then at 216, Leticia sends an
- 1:26:46outgoing message to Sergeant Hess,
- 1:26:49a picture of what looks like Ganon
- 1:26:54walking down the sidewalk. That was just
- 1:26:56the beginning. The lies, the
- 1:26:58deflections, the attempt to steer the
- 1:27:00narrative. It's all there in that
- 1:27:03Starbucks interview. But trust me, we're
- 1:27:06not done yet. In the next episode, we'll
- 1:27:09hear directly from Al himself in police
- 1:27:13interviews, the man who knew Leticia
- 1:27:16better than anyone until everything
- 1:27:19changed. You won't want to miss it.
- 1:27:22>> I just [music] want to say
- 1:27:24thank you. Nothing more, no.
- 1:27:29I appreciate you. Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:27:33Thank you.
