0:17for this very special service
0:22this service recognizes that
0:25every individual believer
0:29has been
0:32gifted by the holy spirit in one way or
0:34the other for the purpose of service
0:37but we may not know
0:39or
0:41we may not know how
0:43to serve god
0:45we don't know where to begin we may not
0:47know
0:50how to
0:52present ourselves
0:54and therefore we seek to use this
0:56service for the time the lord will allow
0:57us
0:59to
1:00encourage each and everyone
1:04to arise and serve god so
1:08i'm avoiding to call it a leadership
1:11but
1:12if i was to make you quickly understand
1:14it will be a service to encourage you
1:16into leadership
1:17the encouragement will be
1:21seeing you put to practice that way the
1:23lord speaks to us
1:26for the purpose of
1:28just laying the foundation today we'll
1:30just do an introduction
1:31then we'll go into
1:34a lot of things in the near future so
1:36for the purpose of laying the foundation
1:38let's look at the scriptures that we
1:39already know very well

4:32been called to serve

7:47but not that it's not there it is there

7:52as each one has received a gift
7:55so you cannot be here
7:57and say you are a believer in christ

8:01and you have no spiritual gift

8:07that the manifestation of the spirit is

8:53congregation of the saints
8:56then you are not serving
8:59christian service

9:09has an impact in other people's life
9:12the goodness of it is that
9:14it never depends on you it depends on
9:17the
9:19enablement of the holy spirit within you
9:22your only part is the willingness
9:25to submit and serve god
9:27taking responsibility
9:30the greatest challenge in many african
9:32churches has been to take responsibility
9:35someone to say i am the one responsible
9:38in this area
9:40the world system gives us as a way of
9:43working
9:45which you must be supervised
9:51then you must be paid

9:57you must be mistreated sometimes

17:53no merely

42:04because of your gift is not for yourself
42:07your gift is impacting other people's
42:10life and people will approve you people
42:12will appraise you people will appreciate

42:16because of what you are doing
42:18don't impose yourself over people
42:21if you have a calling
42:23of god and the calling of god is
42:25affecting people's life i will know and
42:27i'll address you in accordance with that
