- 0:00Everyone wants God to prevent their
- 0:01struggle, and then when God doesn't,
- 0:02[music]
- 0:03we don't want to talk about our
- 0:04struggle. Okay, let's take away all
- 0:05struggle from the Bible. What stories do
- 0:07we have left?
- 0:07>> Not even Jesus is gone, too.
- 0:08>> None. We have nothing. We have no
- 0:10scripture. And so, we're looking at
- 0:11that, and we want to revere scripture,
- 0:13but then we don't want to follow it by
- 0:14sharing the places that [music] we have
- 0:16failed and that we have struggled. God's
- 0:17personality is redemptive, not
- 0:19preventative. We can't get our heads
- 0:20wrapped around that, so we whitewash and
- 0:22we cover up. All in an attempt to pursue
- 0:24unity, but unity is only as good as what
- 0:27you're unified behind. The people under
- 0:29Nimrod were unified, and God did not
- 0:31like it. He wasn't a fan. Oh, but God is
- 0:33a god of unity, and not dissension.
- 0:35Okay, explain that to me. You can't put
- 0:37God into a box and be like, "Well,
- 0:38because he did it one time, this is how
- 0:39he [music] does it." That's witchcraft.
- 0:41That's called Ichabod.
