  10. 0:21easily expand our reach especially in
  11. 0:23countries where email isn't as popular

  13. 0:28have like a thousand unread messages but
  14. 0:30we know you look at your phone because
  15. 0:33with strategic SMS mailings in place our
  16. 0:35company can boost conversion rates
  17. 0:37better than ever before as text messages
  18. 0:39have a higher open rate percentage than
  19. 0:41other forms of communication that's
  20. 0:43because very few people ever leave a
  21. 0:45text message unread no one likes that
  22. 0:47little notification thing now with Odo
  23. 0:50SMS marketing our team can quickly and
  24. 0:52easily create organize schedule pretty
  25. 0:54much everything and analyze because we
  26. 0:56love analyzing stuff all of our SMS
  27. 0:58mailings on one user-friendly interface
  28. 1:01for instance we want to get the word out
  29. 1:04about coming sale we think the best way
  30. 1:06to accomplish that is through a
  31. 1:07well-crafted SMS marketing campaign well
  32. 1:10we're gonna do that so enough Chit Chat
  33. 1:12I'm pumped I'm very hyper let's jump
  34. 1:15into stealthy wood and see how easy it
  35. 1:17is to set up odu's SMS marketing
  36. 1:20application and why I love it
  37. 1:23all right oh doers let's start here on
  38. 1:25the main odoo dashboard now in order to
  39. 1:28send us messages with odoo you'll need
  40. 1:30to make sure that your database has
  41. 1:32enough IAP or in-app purchase tokens or
  42. 1:36credits to do so so if you're using an
  43. 1:39Enterprise version of odoo online well
  44. 1:42in that case you'll already have free
  45. 1:43trial credits to test the feature now to
  46. 1:46purchase credits you actually want to go
  47. 1:48over here to the contacts section of the
  48. 1:51settings page and then you'll see right
  49. 1:53here that you have the option to buy
  50. 1:55credits and you'll be able to send them
  51. 1:59now when you do so Oda will take you to
  52. 2:02a cyber in-app purchase page on a
  53. 2:04separate tab where you can purchase as
  54. 2:06many credits as you need so if you
  55. 2:08either have to buy or replenish credits
  56. 2:10for SMS mailings this is the exact
  57. 2:12location where you'll do that now we
  58. 2:14already have enough credits on our
  59. 2:15stealthy Wood Database because we are
  60. 2:18very wealthy we're flush with cash so we
  61. 2:21can actually just jump into the Odo SMS
  62. 2:23marketing application and see how we can
  63. 2:25quickly create messages for our
  64. 2:27customers so we're actually going to
  65. 2:29navigate back over here to the main odoo
  66. 2:32dashboard and we're going to select SMS
  67. 2:34marketing now
  68. 2:36in here you notice the default kanban
  69. 2:39view shows the various stages that your
  70. 2:41SMS mailings are in along with some
  71. 2:43pertinent information about each
  72. 2:45particular message now what we're going
  73. 2:48to do is well we're going to create one
  74. 2:49so let's create a new SMS right now and
  75. 2:52this is just to let our customers know
  76. 2:54hey
  77. 2:55we got a sale coming up so we're going
  78. 2:57to select create
  79. 2:59and we need a subject per usual and ours
  80. 3:02is going to be annual sale announcement
  81. 3:04now similar to email marketing campaigns
  82. 3:07you can choose who will receive this
  83. 3:09message via the recipients field now for
  84. 3:11this one we'll continue to use our
  85. 3:13newsletter mailing list because we love
  86. 3:15them and they seemingly always receive
  87. 3:18things now down here in the SMS content
  88. 3:21section we'll actually be typing our
  89. 3:23message in and ours is going to be
  90. 3:25all of our furniture is on sale come in
  91. 3:29please
  92. 3:31now it should be noted that no matter
  93. 3:33where a link is targeted Odo will allow
  94. 3:36you to track it always you know based on
  95. 3:39how many people have clicked on a link
  96. 3:40or who is actually opening these inside
  97. 3:42of an SMS message and it's very useful
  98. 3:45to know that because you'll know whether
  99. 3:47or not it's actually working
  100. 3:49now also when it comes to tracking
  101. 3:50anything in your campaigns odoo uses
  102. 3:52specific utms and you're probably asking
  103. 3:54yourself Jose what is a UTM well UTM
  104. 3:57stands for urchin tracking module now
  105. 4:00the ability that this gives you is the
  106. 4:02ability to track the effectiveness of
  107. 4:04your marketing campaigns across
  108. 4:05different platforms and as you'll notice
  109. 4:07odoo tells us how many characters and
  110. 4:10how many text messages this particular
  111. 4:12SMS mailing consists of and that's super
  112. 4:14useful information during the creation
  113. 4:17stages of such a campaign but let's
  114. 4:20quickly also just jump past the AMD
  115. 4:22testing Tab and here we are at our
  116. 4:25settings tab for a sec now here we're
  117. 4:27going to activate the include opt out
  118. 4:29link feature by doing so we give our
  119. 4:31contacts the ability to quickly
  120. 4:33unsubscribe from this specific mailing
  121. 4:35list now I can also adjust a few other
  122. 4:38settings here like which campaign this
  123. 4:41SMS mainly belongs to and the
  124. 4:43responsible user but for now I'm going
  125. 4:47to leave these as is now let's go back
  126. 4:50into that A and B test tab now here we
  127. 4:54actually want to select
  128. 4:55to allow it now as you'll notice once I
  129. 4:58did that we can do comparative targeted
  130. 5:00amb tests involving specific criteria
  131. 5:02which can be sent to a percentage of our
  132. 5:05targeted audience you know chosen at
  133. 5:07random
  134. 5:08or we can also test this SMA the SMS
  135. 5:12mailing the old-fashioned way via the
  136. 5:14test button that we have up here and
  137. 5:16we're actually going to do that now with
  138. 5:18odoo we can choose to test our campaign
  139. 5:19mailings in a couple of ways here we can
  140. 5:22send this SMS to any phone number if we
  141. 5:25like
  142. 5:27or phone numbers that we'd like
  143. 5:29we let you choose one or many now
  144. 5:32testing your campaign like this is a
  145. 5:34great way to examine exactly what your
  146. 5:36customers will see before the official
  147. 5:38SMS is that this provides you with
  148. 5:40enough time to fix any issues or errors
  149. 5:43that may appear we're actually now just
  150. 5:45going to cancel this though because we
  151. 5:47don't want to test that out but
  152. 5:49let's say that you're happy with your
  153. 5:51message and you feel like it's ready to
  154. 5:53go in that case all you actually have to
  155. 5:55do is Select send and then okay and
  156. 5:58you'll see a blue Banner appear letting
  157. 6:00you know when this message will be sent
  158. 6:02now you'll also notice something else
  159. 6:05here it's the status of the SMS and
  160. 6:07you'll notice a move from draft to
  161. 6:09enqueue which means it's scheduled and
  162. 6:11waiting to be sent to this particular
  163. 6:13person's or person
  164. 6:16you know indicated in the blue Banner
  165. 6:18here and once that that's done it'll
  166. 6:20actually move forward then when odoo and
  167. 6:23Edward Lily sends it the status will
  168. 6:25move through sending descent
  169. 6:28kind of basic but I must explain that
  170. 6:31now speaking of that let's actually take
  171. 6:33a closer look at another SMS mailing to
  172. 6:35see how to quickly and accurately
  173. 6:37analyze a successfully sent text message
  174. 6:39so let's go back over here via the
  175. 6:42breadcrumbs always delicious I think
  176. 6:45it's dutch crunch today now let's see
  177. 6:47what an SMS campaign looks like after
  178. 6:49it's been sent and customers have had a
  179. 6:51chance to interact with it now for that
  180. 6:54let's actually open up one of these
  181. 6:56other ones in our case we're going to
  182. 6:58select Xmas promo
  183. 7:02and there we have it now you'll notice
  184. 7:04you'll see how many messages have or
  185. 7:07have not been sent along with other data
  186. 7:09such as the number of opportunities
  187. 7:11quotations invoices and so much more
  188. 7:14it's kind of similar to what we just saw
  189. 7:16previously when you do it with emails
  190. 7:19but that's not all that we can do here
  191. 7:20you'll also notice that if we click
  192. 7:22reporting up here in the header menu
  193. 7:23you'll find a plethora of other useful
  194. 7:26information data and graphs love you bar
  195. 7:29graphs that will be extremely helpful
  196. 7:31during the analysis of your SMS
  197. 7:33campaigns and your messages as well you
  198. 7:36can even adjust the measures and the
  199. 7:37graph types as I will always talk about
  200. 7:39how nice the pie chart and the paragraph
  201. 7:42are and if you click on over here for
  202. 7:45the link tracker you'll find a
  203. 7:47collection of all the links you've
  204. 7:48included in your SMS messages and you
  205. 7:50can quickly access their statistics with
  206. 7:52a single click of over here and that's
  207. 7:54pretty convenient as I always say
  208. 7:58now while we're here also under the
  209. 8:00configuration menu you'll find all of
  210. 8:02your blacklisted phone numbers now here
  211. 8:05you can add numbers to your Black List
  212. 8:07which means they will no longer be sent
  213. 8:09any SMS mailings or campaigns in the
  214. 8:11future and lastly should you ever need
  215. 8:14to access or create new mailings it's
  216. 8:17right over here with the mailing list
  217. 8:19and here's where you add anyone to the
  218. 8:22contacts as well you could do so from
