Simple Liquidity Sweep Strategy — Transcript

1. 0:00If you just wait for the 4-hour
2. 0:02candle to manipulate and then close in
3. 0:04the opposing direction, you will be a
4. 0:06profitable trader. You will become a
5. 0:08profitable trader, but you have to be
6. 0:09patient because it doesn't happen every
7. 0:11single day. But, what you're going to
8. 0:12look for is a candle if it's going to go
9. 0:14higher, for example, you want it to go
10. 0:16lower, sweep below the previous 4-hour
11. 0:18candle's low, and then close higher. If
12. 0:21it closes higher, you can take the trade
13. 0:22higher. You can look on a smaller time
14. 0:24frame for extra extra evidence whether,
15. 0:26but you can trade this higher. You can
16. 0:28become profitable using this.
17. 0:30>> You just have to wait and find You hear
18. 0:31about patience all the time, and using
19. 0:32the 4-hour chart is actually really good
20. 0:34for waiting for setups. And what's
21. 0:36really nice is it's a very simple
22. 0:37concept, but it works really well. Even
23. 0:39better, we can build out an indicator
24. 0:41that signals this every single time
25. 0:42using LuxAlgo Quant. All I'm going to
26. 0:44ask for is I want an indicator that
27. 0:48prints a signal when a 4-hour candle
28. 0:51breaks a previous 4-hour low, then
29. 0:55closes higher, and when closes lower.
30. 1:00I'm going to send that over to LuxAlgo
31. 1:01Quant, and it's going to build it in a
32. 1:02minute. So, here you go. Here's the
33. 1:03indicator. Notice it broke the high,
34. 1:05closed lower, you got a nice
35. 1:06continuation down. It broke the low,
36. 1:08closed higher, you got a nice
37. 1:09continuation up. Okay, just chatting
38. 1:11with Quant here, I added in a bunch of
39. 1:13cool features to the indicator as well.
40. 1:15You can actually select which higher
41. 1:16time frame you want, so if you don't
42. 1:17want to do the 4-hour I would recommend
43. 1:184-hour, and then trend signal filter.
44. 1:21Here, it'll do any of them. If you click
45. 1:23this trend signal, have to do with the
46. 1:25previous bar being the same direction as
47. 1:27well. The other dope thing is when you
48. 1:28go to a smaller time frame, you'll see
49. 1:30the box around that 4-hour candle
50. 1:32[music] that formed, and then it'll have
51. 1:34a line for where it opened. So, one of
52. 1:35my favorite setups to use with something
53. 1:37like this is when you do get a signal,
54. 1:39watch for price to immediately go
55. 1:40against that signal. So, we have a new
56. 1:424-hour open here, price went in the
57. 1:44opposite direction, and then you wait
58. 1:46for a continuation setup. In this case,
59. 1:48this is like a shooting star here. I
60. 1:50would put my stop above that high, it'd
61. 1:52be a 60-point stop, go for that low
62. 1:54there, and then we could get that
63. 1:55continuation. Bang, perfect. This is
64. 1:57just essentially forming that wick
65. 1:59before the continuation. The best part
66. 2:00is this can work on any asset. Here's
67. 2:02gold on the 5-minute 4-hour just closed
68. 2:04with a signal. Notice price tried to
69. 2:06break out and actually close below the
70. 2:07open, which is really nice. So, I want
71. 2:09to see if this thing tries to continue
72. 2:11and then fail. So, it actually continues
73. 2:13up and then immediately gets rejected
74. 2:15hard. I could take my shorts somewhere
75. 2:17around here, stop above that high, and
76. 2:20then go for a 2:1, which is what I like
77. 2:22to do. This would be a full new low
78. 2:24here. Let it play out. And bang, a
79. 2:26really nice setup. I easily built this
