1. 0:00Alex, we know the benefits of digital
2. 0:01business. Any benefits unique to a
3. 0:03physical manufacturing business?
4. 0:05Um, I think that in the US, there's
5. 0:08going to be I think AI will because So,
6. 0:12you think fundamentally like this.
7. 0:14Manufacturing became difficult in the
8. 0:16United States because of the cost of
9. 0:17labor and because of unions, right? And
10. 0:18so, it became cheaper to outsource that
11. 0:21labor to other countries. Even with
12. 0:23tariffs and shipping, it was still
13. 0:25cheaper because labor was so much
14. 0:27cheaper than it is here. Now, in a world
15. 0:30where you have robots that can
16. 0:33manufacture everything, it then the cost
17. 0:36basis changes materially to number one,
18. 0:39hard materials, and number two, energy
19. 0:41and power.
20. 0:42And so, a a machine running here
21. 0:46to serve businesses here is going to be
22. 0:48more efficient than a machine built in
23. 0:50China to serve businesses here because
24. 0:52you won't have the cost of shipping and
25. 0:54you won't have any tariffs associated
26. 0:55with delivering to the businesses that
27. 0:57are close by. And so, do I think that it
28. 1:00makes sense in today's day and age to
29. 1:02get in into or back into manufacturing
30. 1:04in the US? I think if you start from the
31. 1:06premise I will have as few humans as
32. 1:08possible, then the leverage with
33. 1:10technology and automation and AI and
34. 1:12robotics where it is now, I think
35. 1:14absolutely there's opportunities there
36. 1:15if that's what you're talking about.
