Short Story About Jealousy and Kindness | Moral Lesson | Motivational Story — Transcript

- 0:00In a lush and vibrant forest, a tiny ant
- 0:03lived with her family. From the very
- 0:05beginning, she was known for being wise,
- 0:08hardworking, and always ahead of others.
- 0:11But as time passed, something began to
- 0:13change inside her heart. Whenever she
- 0:16saw the peacock dancing, she thought,
- 0:19"Look at his beauty. Everyone admires
- 0:22him. Why does no one look at me?" When
- 0:25she saw the butterfly flying freely, she
- 0:28wished, "Ah, if only I had wings, too.
- 0:32Why am I only crawling on the ground?"
- 0:35Even the squirrel made her jealous,
- 0:37leaping from one tree to another in the
- 0:39blink of an eye. Slowly, her heart
- 0:43filled with bitterness. She lost
- 0:45interest in her work. The ant that once
- 0:48gathered food before anyone else now
- 0:51stayed behind, distracted and gloomy.
- 0:54Others often asked her, "Why do you look
- 0:57so sad these days, but she only smiled
- 1:00weakly and stayed silent." One day, the
- 1:04forest was struck by a fierce storm and
- 1:06heavy rain. Trees broke, rivers
- 1:09overflowed, and many animals lost their
- 1:12homes. The butterflyy's wings became
- 1:15soaked and heavy. She couldn't fly
- 1:17anymore. The squirrel's tree collapsed,
- 1:20leaving her shivering on the ground.
- 1:22Even the proud peacock's colorful
- 1:24feathers were drenched, and he could not
- 1:26spread them to dance. The forest was in
- 1:29chaos. But deep underground, the ants
- 1:32colony remained safe and strong. Their
- 1:35carefully built tunnels protected them
- 1:37from the storm. When the tiny ant saw
- 1:40the suffering around her, something
- 1:42broke inside. "I wasted so much time
- 1:46envying others," she thought. "But
- 1:49today, they are the ones in trouble. Can
- 1:51I do something to help? At that moment,
- 1:54she made a decision. She gathered all
- 1:57the ants and said, "We must help others.
- 2:00Together, we can save them." Hundreds of
- 2:03ants marched out in lines. Some carried
- 2:06the butterfly carefully on their backs
- 2:08to a dry place. Some built a bed of
- 2:11leaves for the trembling squirrel.
- 2:13Others cleaned the water from the
- 2:15peacock's feathers so he could lift his
- 2:17head again. The animals were stunned.
- 2:20How could such tiny creatures have such
- 2:23enormous hearts? When the storm passed
- 2:26and the sun shone again, the butterfly,
- 2:29squirrel, and peacock came to thank the
- 2:31ant. The peacock said, "I have never
- 2:34seen a beauty greater than yours." The
- 2:37squirrel whispered, "Today I learned,
- 2:40true strength is not in show, but in
- 2:43service." The butterfly smiled. You
- 2:46cannot fly and you may not shine, but
- 2:49you saved us all. That makes you the
- 2:52greatest. For the first time in her
- 2:54life, the little aunt felt proud of who
- 2:57she was. She realized she was far more
- 3:00precious than she ever believed. From
- 3:04that day, she stopped comparing herself
- 3:06with others. She understood that every
- 3:10creature has its own unique purpose. And
- 3:13when we discover our true strengths and
- 3:16use them to help others, we become truly
- 3:19special. Jealousy makes us blind to our
- 3:23own worth. We waste our days wishing for
- 3:26what others have while forgetting the
- 3:29gifts hidden within us. But real
- 3:32greatness is not in beauty, wings, or
- 3:35strength. It is in kindness, service,
- 3:39and the courage to use what we already
- 3:42have for the good of others. Being small
- 3:45is never a weakness. A big heart makes
- 3:49the smallest one the greatest of all. If
- 3:52this little story gave you a lesson
- 3:54today, press the like button and share
- 3:57it with someone who needs it. And tell
- 3:59me in the comments, where are you
- 4:01watching from? I'd love to know.
