8. 0:14similarities at first rattled law
9. 0:16enforcement 18 years before Sheri pini's
10. 0:19story would Captivate the country terce
11. 0:22Smith who had the same look also
12. 0:24disappeared while out for a jog in the
13. 0:26same town but the biggest difference in
14. 0:29Tera Smith's case police had a person of
15. 0:32interest as investigators continue to
16. 0:34scour Northern California for those who
17. 0:37abducted Sher Pini they're haunted by
18. 0:40another young woman's unsolved
19. 0:41disappearance 16-year-old terara Smith
20. 0:44vanished in 1998 and so was that kind of
21. 0:47in your head oh man I hope this is not
22. 0:49another case of a complete disappear
23. 0:51absolutely it was and it was on the
24. 0:53investigator's Minds um in fact there is
25. 0:56a um resemblance of terrace Smith and
26. 1:00Miss Pini which made it maybe even a
27. 1:02little bit more eerie this is the two of
28. 1:05them side by side both were out jogging
29. 1:08when they vanished both went to the same
30. 1:11high school at the same time in the
31. 1:131990s Sherry even auditioned for the
32. 1:15same role as tera's sister in this fifth
33. 1:18grade play and both cases captivated the
34. 1:22City of Reading California but there AR
35. 1:24glaring differences she and Keith have
36. 1:26been reunited Sherry was released weeks
37. 1:29after for abduction I just ran past
38. 1:32everybody and I you know throw up in the
39. 1:34curtain and she was
40. 1:38there in a in a bed in her poor
41. 1:43face and I just hugged her I just held
42. 1:46her I felt like I hugged her for like 20
43. 1:48minutes but unlike Keith Pini Terry
44. 1:51Smith and his family never got that
45. 1:53Thanksgiving Day miracle brought back a
46. 1:55lot of the memory of those um initial
47. 1:59days and also unlike the pinis Smith
48. 2:02believes he knows what happened to his
49. 2:03daughter we've known since the very
50. 2:05first night while no one was ever named
51. 2:07as a suspect in terror's disappearance
52. 2:10Terry Smith has long suspected a local
53. 2:12man Terry Smith says Keith sought out
54. 2:15his advice as he grappled with Sherry's
55. 2:18disappearance he wanted to know just how
56. 2:20to get by dayto day and then also uh
57. 2:24dealings with law
58. 2:27enforcement and in many ways Keith is
59. 2:29taking that advice Keith has what he
60. 2:31calls an A Team friends who say they've
61. 2:34set up a war room and continue to run a
62. 2:36shadow investigation to find the
63. 2:39abductors who are still out there as for
64. 2:41the man Terry Smith still believes
65. 2:43killed his daughter he's never been
66. 2:45charged and continues to live in reading
67. 2:48now while some of the similarities are
68. 2:50uncanny investigators tell us right now
69. 2:53the two cases are not related guys okay

73. 3:01you look at these two cases what stands
74. 3:04out to you well Matt's pointed it out
75. 3:07blonde young petite from Reading going
76. 3:12out for a run but Robin once you clear
77. 3:14away those half a dozen similarities
78. 3:17there's nothing similar terara was 16
79. 3:20she was dating a guy much her senior uh
80. 3:24was married had a child had plad guilty
81. 3:27to a rape charge 5 years prior to Terror
82. 3:31disappearing uh she supposedly met with
83. 3:34him he's admitted apparently in the only
84. 3:36interview he granted police that he did
85. 3:39meet with her she wanted $2,000 he
86. 3:41wouldn't give it to her and dropped her
87. 3:42off so I I'd say they're on the right
88. 3:45track with that guy and so so where do
89. 3:46you think though the investigation goes
90. 3:48with sher's
91. 3:50disappearance well Sherry's case you
92. 3:53know it's all based on what evidence
93. 3:54they can find forensically from what she
94. 3:56had on restraints Etc tips
95. 4:00and are there any other videos out there
96. 4:03in or around whether she where she was
97. 4:05abducted and or dropped off but this
98. 4:08case is is going to heavily rely on
99. 4:09somebody coming forward in my view and
100. 4:11hopefully that will be the case soon all
