Seven Mindset Shifts That Made Me Millions — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00On this video, I'm going to discuss I'm
- 0:01going to discuss seven mindset shifts
- 0:05that have made me millions and millions
- 0:07of dollars. Um I there's no doubt in my
- 0:11mind that if you adapt and adopt these
- 0:12mindset shifts that they will change
- 0:14your life for the better. Um I heard
- 0:17someone say a long time ago, if you want
- 0:18to if you want to model any form of
- 0:20human excellence. Somebody's doing
- 0:22something and you'd like to do it. You
- 0:24find somebody who's doing the thing you
- 0:27want to do and you model three things.
- 0:32One, you model their belief systems.
- 0:36Two, you model their mental syntax, the
- 0:40order in which they fire off messages in
- 0:41their brain. And number three, you model
- 0:44their physiology. And so, so this is
- 0:48going to be about belief systems.
- 0:51that if you adapt and adopt them, they
- 0:53will make you millions. And and I'm
- 0:54going to tell you right now, if you're
- 0:56not making millions of dollars, some of
- 0:57these are going to rub you the wrong
- 0:58way. Because
- 1:01if if these things already made sense to
- 1:05you, you'd already be doing them, right?
- 1:08I mean, doesn't that stand a reason like
- 1:10if like don't expect to learn something
- 1:14from someone that you agree with 100% of
- 1:16the time. Of course, if they're not
- 1:19challenge, if what they're saying is not
- 1:21challenging you,
- 1:24how could you possibly hope for it to
- 1:26change you? So, here are the seven
- 1:28mindset shifts. This, the first one, is
- 1:32the biggest mindb blown transformation
- 1:36that I've like that changed my life for
- 1:38the rest of my life. And I'm going to
- 1:40say it and you're going to say, "Oh, no,
- 1:41not that again." Okay? But here's the
- 1:44problem. Like if that's what you're
- 1:46thinking, here's the problem. You know
- 1:48about it and you think knowing about it
- 1:49is knowing it,
- 1:52>> right? So you like the words I'm going
- 1:54to say, you've already heard them. You
- 1:55already know them. They're not new
- 1:57words. They're just new actions. They're
- 2:00words that you've heard and recited, but
- 2:04you haven't yet done anything about
- 2:05them. So here it is. first game changer
- 2:09million million multi multi
- 2:10multi-million billion whatever dollar
- 2:12mindset
- 2:13is be do have
- 2:16like oh yeah I got that already be do
- 2:18half yeah okay sure you do but I'm going
- 2:21to go over here on my on my trusty
- 2:22blackboard when I discovered this in
- 2:24Genesis chapter 1 it knocked my socks
- 2:26off for months I was just like and it it
- 2:30and when I think about it now it still
- 2:31knocks my socks off because in Genesis 1
- 2:35God said the whole I'm getting chills
- 2:37thinking about this right now. Uh God
- 2:38set up the whole thing. And the first
- 2:41thing God tells us about God is that he
- 2:44um is creative. He doesn't tell us first
- 2:46that he's love. He doesn't tell us first
- 2:47that he's righteous or just or
- 2:48omnipotent, omnisient, even though he's
- 2:50all those things. The first thing God
- 2:51tells about God is that he's creative.
- 2:53In the beginning, God created the
- 2:54heavens and the earth. And when God
- 2:56created the heavens and the earth in the
- 2:57beginning, he established the platform
- 2:59on which we operate. And that platform
- 3:01is in the beginning, that's time. I
- 3:03don't like that color. I don't even know
- 3:04what color it is, but I know I don't
- 3:05like it for that. Um,
- 3:14so, so in the beginning,
- 3:18before the beginning, there was no time.
- 3:20In the beginning, God created the
- 3:22heavens, that's space,
- 3:25and the earth, that's matter. Now, it's
- 3:27it's really interesting
- 3:30that
- 3:32I need to do some thinking about this,
- 3:33but it's it's really interesting that
- 3:36time, space, and matter are a continuum,
- 3:38and they all had to come into the same
- 3:39come into being at the same time. The
- 3:42only explanation for that is Genesis
- 3:441:1. Brashit Bar Elohim at um Hashem. In
- 3:49the beginning, God created the heavens
- 3:50and the earth. That's the only So, they
- 3:52all came into being at the same time
- 3:54because um if there's time but no space,
- 3:57where would you put it? What would you
- 3:59do with that time? If there's space but
- 4:01no time, when would you put it? If
- 4:03there's matter but oh, I said earth. Um
- 4:06if there's matter but no space, where
- 4:08would you put it? And so, they all came
- 4:10into being at the same time.
- 4:13Now what what's fascinating about this
- 4:17is this platform is the platform that
- 4:20God set up from the beginning. These are
- 4:22our constraints as human beings.
- 4:25Time, space, matter are constraints.
- 4:27Anything you're going to do is going to
- 4:28take time, right? Anything you're going
- 4:30to become is going to take time. Like
- 4:31like
- 4:33time is it's a constraint. Space. If you
- 4:35don't have enough time, you're not going
- 4:36to get it done. If you don't have enough
- 4:37space, you're not going to get it done.
- 4:38like we can't build the Empire State
- 4:40Building inside this building because
- 4:41there's not enough space, right? And
- 4:44what's really really mind-blowing about
- 4:48this again is that um the first thing
- 4:50that God tells about himself is that
- 4:51he's creative. Um the first thing God
- 4:53tells about us is that he made us in his
- 4:55image in the be and it's it's he made us
- 4:58in his image. Um which means he this is
- 5:03the first thing he tells us about us. He
- 5:05made us to make stuff and he created us
- 5:07to create stuff. Which is why if you're
- 5:09not making something, if you're not
- 5:10creating something, if you are not
- 5:15living in your creative space to make
- 5:17the world a better place, you feel
- 5:18unfulfilled.
- 5:20You feel like I'm wasting my life. I'm
- 5:22just existing because you're not
- 5:24creating anything. Right? And so, so um
- 5:28so the first thing God tells about us is
- 5:30that he made us in his image. And then
- 5:32the first thing God said to man, go read
- 5:34Genesis 1 27 and 28. And it says, "And
- 5:37God blessed them and said unto him, be
- 5:40fruitful and multiply, replenish the
- 5:41earth and subdue it and have dominion."
- 5:43So he said, "Be fruitful." Now the word
- 5:46fruitful, Genesis 1 tells us what a
- 5:48fruit is. A fruit is a living organism
- 5:50whose seed is in itself. So when God
- 5:52said be fruitful, he's telling us to
- 5:53produce on the outside what based on
- 5:55what he put on the inside of us. What
- 5:56did he put on the inside of us? I
- 5:58believe that God planted an a the seed
- 6:03of an aspect of his creativity inside of
- 6:06all of us. Now he didn't he didn't plant
- 6:09the same aspect inside of any of us. He
- 6:13planted a different aspect of the seed
- 6:15of his creativity inside of each of us
- 6:17so that you can create something based
- 6:20on the creativity that God put in you
- 6:23that helps me and I can create something
- 6:24that based on the creativity God put
- 6:26inside of me to help you. It's so
- 6:28beautiful. So, so I need you. So now now
- 6:32not only not only is it a good idea for
- 6:35me to treat you good because you're made
- 6:36in the image of God, but it's a good
- 6:38idea for me to treat you good because or
- 6:40for me to treat you well because it's in
- 6:42my own best interest
- 6:44because you're going to have something I
- 6:46need. So it just makes sense for me to
- 6:48treat you well and you to treat me well
- 6:50cuz I got something you need and you
- 6:51need got something I need. So it just
- 6:52makes sense. Why would we go through
- 6:54life burning the bridges of the people
- 6:56who have the stuff that we need that we
- 6:57don't have and we can't get without
- 6:58them?
- 7:03So he said, "Be fruitful. Produce on the
- 7:04outside based on what I put on the
- 7:05inside of you." And then he said,
- 7:08"Multiply." Well, the the implied verb
- 7:10of multiply is a do. Multiply means to
- 7:12increase, by the way. So he said, "Be
- 7:13fruitful and increase." So multiply. And
- 7:16by the way, the increase of
- 7:17multiplication is not geometric. It's
- 7:19it's not linear. It's exponential.
- 7:21It's a geometric progression. What did
- 7:23Warren Wearsby say? Any fool can count
- 7:25the number of seeds in an apple, but
- 7:26only God can count the number of apples
- 7:27in a seed. If you plant a seed, it
- 7:29doesn't grow an apple. If you plant a an
- 7:31apple seed, it grows a tree.
- 7:34And the tree produces apples. And all
- 7:36those apples have multiple seeds. And
- 7:38everything is multiplying.
- 7:40Are y'all tracking?
- 7:42>> Okay. So, be fruitful. Do multiply.
- 7:44Multiply is what we do. Increase.
- 7:47Replenish the earth. Replenish is what
- 7:49we do. Replenish means to fill up the
- 7:51earth. So, I'm supposed to use my
- 7:52creativity to make stuff, to be fruitful
- 7:55and do things that make things that fill
- 7:58up the earth. Okay? And then he said,
- 8:01"And subdue it." Why did he say subdue
- 8:03it? Because there's a principle
- 8:08that's woven into the fabric of physics.
- 8:10We call it entropy. Right? What is
- 8:13entropy? Anything left to itself tends
- 8:14to move more and more towards disorder.
- 8:16Right? The first law of energics
- 8:19is what? Everything is energy. Energy is
- 8:22neither created nor destroyed. It just
- 8:23changes form. Right? So you take the
- 8:26apple and you eat the apple and you
- 8:27plant the seed and the seed becomes a
- 8:28tree and the tree becomes more apples
- 8:31and the apples be produce more and
- 8:33everything's it's all nothing goes away.
- 8:36It just turns into something different.
- 8:38But the second law is the law of
- 8:40entropy. Anything left to itself tends
- 8:42to move more and more towards disorder.
- 8:46So, in order for me to do it, requires
- 8:48intention and it requires energy. Are
- 8:51y'all tracking?
- 8:54I I thought I was going to do seven.
- 8:55Okay, that's hilarious. Okay. So, so be
- 8:59fruitful, do multiply, do subdue. Well,
- 9:01because of the law of entropy, it's
- 9:03woven into the fabric of the universe
- 9:06that and when I say it's woven into the
- 9:08fabric of the universe, God wo it into
- 9:09the fabric of the universe because the
- 9:11universe is not God and God is not the
- 9:12universe. It's God woven into the fabric
- 9:15of the universe
- 9:17that disruption always follows
- 9:19intention.
- 9:21So when you decide to do something good
- 9:25that you haven't been doing, the first
- 9:27thing that shows up
- 9:30is not something fun. The first thing
- 9:33that shows up is not a big payoff. The
- 9:35first thing that shows up is difficulty.
- 9:39Isn't it fascinating that you have to
- 9:40plant food, but you don't have to plant
- 9:43weeds? They just grow.
- 9:47I've never met a farm who planted a
- 9:48weed, but they all have them. Never met
- 9:50a gardener who planted a weed, right?
- 9:53It's it's so mind-blowing. Like, if you
- 9:56if if you're building a new house and
- 9:58you want to have a yard, you go, you
- 9:59know, go you got to go buy some sod,
- 10:00right? You go buy some sod and it's got
- 10:02like St. Augustine grass or it's got
- 10:04whatever kind of grass you you have in
- 10:06your area and you plant that. You put
- 10:07down those that sod and then you water
- 10:09it and you take care of it and next
- 10:11thing you know now you got a yard. Next
- 10:13thing you know dollar weeds start
- 10:14popping up. Where do they come from?
- 10:16Disruption always follows intention.
- 10:18It's it's so fascinating that part of
- 10:20our energy we use to produce and another
- 10:24part of our energy we use to keep the
- 10:27entropy from seducing what we've
- 10:29produced.
- 10:31Like what in the world is happening
- 10:33here? Okay. So do and then God says have
- 10:36dominion. Have dominion. Now here's the
- 10:41formula. Be do have but this part of the
- 10:46formula B was created for the platform
- 10:49of time. So this is this is the platform
- 10:55and this these are the parameters
- 10:58and the parameters are be do have this
- 11:02parameter was made for this part of the
- 11:05platform. Anything you're going to
- 11:06become that you are not right now takes
- 11:08time. And see, so many people are in
- 11:10such a big hurry
- 11:13that they'll I tried that already for
- 11:16three whole weeks and and it didn't
- 11:17work,
- 11:19right? Isn't that what people say stuff?
- 11:20Like, what are you what are we talking
- 11:21about? I I was having a conversation
- 11:23with one of my clients last night and
- 11:26she asked me a very valid question. She
- 11:27said, "My like, you know, in corporate
- 11:31America, we're taught not to talk about
- 11:32how much money we make, you know, and
- 11:34and then and and but in your business,
- 11:36you talk about how much money you make.
- 11:38Like, how do you keep employees?"
- 11:42That's you you've asked that question
- 11:44before, Trudy, right? That I mean,
- 11:45that's a valid question, but see, here's
- 11:47what people don't realize. What people
- 11:48don't realize is the money that I make
- 11:51now is not from the work I do now.
- 11:55The money that I make now is from the
- 11:56work I did when the work was only
- 11:58working on me.
- 12:00>> The money that I make now is from the
- 12:02gestation period that lasted for
- 12:04decades. And for somebody to come into
- 12:06my space and believe that they deserve a
- 12:11big chunk of this pie just because
- 12:13they're here and they are helping and
- 12:14the work that they do is valid. That's
- 12:15not my point is not that the work they
- 12:16not do is not valid. It's very valid.
- 12:20But somebody who's been here for 5
- 12:22years, they think, "Well, I deserve more
- 12:24money cuz look how much money you're
- 12:25making, but I'm not making this much
- 12:26money because you showed up. I was
- 12:27making this much money before you showed
- 12:28up."
- 12:31And so, let's don't
- 12:33anything you're going to become is going
- 12:35to take time. And see, people want to
- 12:36rush the washing machine. People come
- 12:38and see something. Even those of clients
- 12:39I' I've got clients. They come and see.
- 12:41Oh, I'm just going to go do what my did.
- 12:42Really?
- 12:44Really? You're going to spend decades
- 12:47learning and decades trial and error and
- 12:50in the beginning more error than trial
- 12:54and you're going to last through that
- 12:55learning curve to the point where
- 12:57something finally clicks that you can
- 12:58put on rinse and repeat.
- 13:02See, and most people when they don't get
- 13:04the result in seven I when I started in
- 13:06sales I didn't make my first sale for a
- 13:08year and a half for 18 months but I kept
- 13:10doing it. Why? Because I didn't have any
- 13:12place else to go. I didn't have
- 13:14alternatives. Sometimes our biggest
- 13:16problem is we have too many choices.
- 13:18>> Yes.
- 13:20>> Right. You you got there's so much
- 13:22opportunity in the world today. You can
- 13:24do shiny object syndrome until the cows
- 13:26come home and never make anything work.
- 13:28Why? Cuz the problem you think the
- 13:30problem is the opportunity, but the
- 13:32problem's not the opportunity. The
- 13:33problem is the opportunist.
- 13:39One more time.
- 13:41So, so be be do have God. I I love this
- 13:46so much. Somebody said to me in one of
- 13:48comment one of my brother, don't get
- 13:49distracted by the money and make and
- 13:52start forget about Jesus.
- 13:54That's the craziest thing I've ever
- 13:56heard in my life. As if it's separate.
- 13:59It's somehow separate.
- 14:01What are we talking about? Don't forget
- 14:04about Jes. I'm Jesus is the reason I'm
- 14:06here. I'm not confused,
- 14:09>> but I'm not going to step on the brakes
- 14:10on my productivity because I don't want
- 14:12to I don't want to not be focused on
- 14:13What are you talking about, bro? You're
- 14:15pretending to be focused on Jesus, but
- 14:16you're working 13 hours a day and
- 14:18struggling to take care of your family
- 14:20>> right now.
- 14:21>> And you're acting like because I'm
- 14:22making more money, somehow that means
- 14:24I'm more focused on money. I'm going to
- 14:25tell you right tell you right now, I'm
- 14:26way less focused on money than most
- 14:28people. I'm more focused on time. What
- 14:33fascinating discovery? This is this is
- 14:35this is 1B.
- 14:43One of the biggest differences between
- 14:45poor people and rich people is poor
- 14:47people value money more than they value
- 14:49time. And rich people value money value
- 14:52time more than we value money. Poor
- 14:55people value money more than they value
- 14:56time. That's why they're cheap. Not
- 14:59they're not cheap. I'm not saying
- 15:00they're cheap. I'm saying they'll go to
- 15:02a restaurant. church folk go to a
- 15:04restaurant on Sunday afternoon, sit
- 15:05there for five hours, and leave a dollar
- 15:06tip in a trap.
- 15:09That's called an anti-witness.
- 15:14Okay?
- 15:18So, so we we have to understand that my
- 15:22desire your desire to have your desire
- 15:25to have something nice to have nice
- 15:28experience of life. Your desire to have
- 15:30like a um a nice car and a nice house
- 15:33and live in a nice neighborhood, take
- 15:34nice vacations and have a niceiz bank
- 15:36account. That desire God gave it to you.
- 15:44God's the one that gave you a desire for
- 15:46nicer, better because the first command
- 15:48was be fruitful, multiply, replenish the
- 15:49earth, subdue it, and have dominion. God
- 15:52commanded the man to be progressively
- 15:54productive in his life his whole life.
- 15:56Your desire to make th today look better
- 15:58than yesterday, and this week look
- 16:00better than last week, and this month
- 16:01look better than last month, and this
- 16:02year look better than last year, and
- 16:03this decade look better than last decade
- 16:05is God-given.
- 16:06And Satan wants you to believe that it's
- 16:09satanic. See, Satan, one of his, one of
- 16:12his tactics is to make you believe that
- 16:16your friends are your enemies, and your
- 16:17enemies are your friends.
- 16:21>> Remember what he said to Eve in the
- 16:22garden? You shall not surely die, for
- 16:24God does know that they eat thereof.
- 16:26Then your eyes will be open, and you
- 16:27should be as God's knowing good and
- 16:28evil. What's he saying? He's saying
- 16:29God's just keeping something from you.
- 16:31He's just God's just trying to keep you
- 16:32from being like him.
- 16:35So
- 16:37you want to do something really good for
- 16:38your life, stop attending Satan's Bible
- 16:40studies. Say it again.
- 16:42>> What does that even mean? Stop attending
- 16:44Satan's Bible studies. If you make the
- 16:46mistake of thinking that everybody who
- 16:48talks about the Bible is representing
- 16:49God, you are delusional.
- 16:52The very first temptation in the history
- 16:54of the world, Satan used what God said
- 16:58to deceive. He twisted what God said to
- 17:00deceive Eve in the garden. He also
- 17:02twisted in the first temptation of
- 17:04Christ. He twisted what God said to
- 17:05attempt to to deceive Jesus. But Jesus
- 17:08is the truth and the truth cannot be
- 17:09deceived.
- 17:11>> Okay? So have your desire to have is
- 17:14God-given. So God said, I'm going to
- 17:17give these people an intense desire to
- 17:18have. And then I'm going to tell them
- 17:20I'm going to give them I'm going to give
- 17:22them some some some principles and laws
- 17:26that these are the things you must do in
- 17:29order for you to have what you want to
- 17:30have.
- 17:32So, so having speaks to my property. I'm
- 17:35going to stop on this one for for this
- 17:38part for this mindset shift. Having
- 17:40speaks to my property, doing speaks to
- 17:42my activity.
- 17:46So,
- 17:47God knew that when I attempted to do
- 17:49something that I don't have an ability
- 17:52to do,
- 17:54I would become frustrated.
- 17:56I'd feel challenged. I would feel
- 17:58insignificant and insufficient. And I
- 18:01but the reason he did that was not to
- 18:03frustrate us, but to get us to yield to
- 18:05the thing he cares about most. We care
- 18:06the most about this and so we do a lot
- 18:09of this. God cares the most about this.
- 18:12And while we're ignoring this, we can't
- 18:14do this and we'll never have that. God
- 18:17cares the most about us becoming being
- 18:19speaks to my identity.
- 18:24And when I when I yield to who God says
- 18:26I am, when I recognize that I am who God
- 18:29says I am, so it doesn't matter. So I if
- 18:31I am so intimately familiar with who God
- 18:33says I am,
- 18:35then your misunderstanding of me is not
- 18:38my concern.
- 18:42People like it's so funny.
- 18:45So I have been called a prosperity
- 18:48gospel preacher.
- 18:51Myron, are you a prosperity gospel
- 18:52preacher? I don't know. What do you mean
- 18:53by that?
- 18:54That would be my question if you mean do
- 18:56I believe in biblical prosperity? 100% I
- 18:58do because prosperity is a Bible word.
- 19:01In fact, I remember reading something
- 19:03that says something like um blessed is
- 19:06the man that walketh not in the counsel
- 19:08of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way
- 19:10of sinners, nor siteth in the seat of
- 19:12the scornful, but his delight is in the
- 19:14law of the Lord, and in his law doth
- 19:15does he meditate day and night. And he
- 19:17shall be like a tree planted by the
- 19:18rivers of waters that bringeth forth his
- 19:20fruit in his season. His leaf also shall
- 19:22not wither. and whatsoever he doeth
- 19:25shall prosper.
- 19:27Now, whatsoever he doeth shall prosper
- 19:31sounds relatively all inclusive.
- 19:37I don't know. Whatsoever he doeth shall
- 19:40prosper. That means when he does it, it
- 19:42works.
- 19:43>> Let me ask you a question. How many
- 19:45Bible believing, Bible thumping,
- 19:46churchgoing people do you know who are
- 19:49actually living that?
- 19:51Uh
- 19:53>> yeah. So if that's what you mean by b
- 19:54prosperity gospel preacher, the word
- 19:56gospel means good news. And the good
- 19:58news about prosperity is you can be
- 20:00prosperous now. But if you mean am I
- 20:03telling you to give me money and God's
- 20:06going to bless you? No. I don't do that.
- 20:07I don't have any blessings for sale.
- 20:11>> I No, I'll tell you right now. If you
- 20:12give me some money, God might bless you.
- 20:13And then again, maybe he won't. I don't
- 20:15know. I don't know. Tell you what, you
- 20:17want to give me some money, you give me
- 20:18the money, and then you come back and
- 20:19tell me what happened after that. I
- 20:20don't know.
- 20:22I don't have any blessings for I'm not
- 20:23going to make you a promise that God's
- 20:24going to do something for you because
- 20:25you gave me some money. I don't do that.
- 20:29>> I
- 20:32I've been called I've been called a
- 20:35false prophet. That's interesting.
- 20:37That's an interesting accusation. But
- 20:38guess what? I don't have time to care. I
- 20:41have been called the antichrist. I know.
- 20:44[Laughter]
- 20:47I have no idea. Anti what? Child,
- 20:50please. Okay.
- 20:54It's so fascinating
- 20:57how super religious people
- 21:00get their doctrine from loud sermons.
- 21:05>> Go read the Bible. Go study it. First of
- 21:08all, you might come ac if you read the
- 21:11whole Bible, you might come across a
- 21:12passage that says something like this.
- 21:13The servant of the Lord shall not
- 21:14strive. You might find that one in
- 21:16there.
- 21:18Be not overcome of evil, but overcome
- 21:19evil with good.
- 21:21Be ye kind one to another, tender heart.
- 21:23I mean, there there's all kinds of stuff
- 21:24in there that tells us about our
- 21:26attitude.
- 21:28Anyway,
- 21:29okay. B see here's what I know. If I am
- 21:33made in the image of God and God planted
- 21:36the seed of an aspect of his creativity
- 21:38inside of me, that means I know I can do
- 21:41anything he tells me to do.
- 21:46God tells me as a man that I'm supposed
- 21:48to love my family. I'm supposed to love
- 21:49my wife. I'm supposed to provide for my
- 21:50house. I'm supposed to I'm supposed to
- 21:52leave an inheritance to my children's
- 21:53children. I can't say, "Well, leave an
- 21:55inheritance to your children's children
- 21:57and other impossible dreams." I can't
- 21:59say that.
- 22:03Ladies, God gives you a template for how
- 22:07to be like the most valuable woman ever
- 22:11in Proverbs chapter 31. And you know
- 22:12what Christians do? They'll write books
- 22:13like the Proverbs 31 women woman and
- 22:15other impossible dreams.
- 22:19So what you say about what God said is
- 22:21more valid than what God said about what
- 22:22God said.
- 22:25It's so fascinating. All we have to do
- 22:26is yield to being who God called us,
- 22:29created us, and then called us to be.
- 22:30That's all I got to do. I gota Okay, if
- 22:31I will become more, I will have the
- 22:33ability to do more. And if I do more, I
- 22:35automatically deserve to have more. So,
- 22:37that's the first mindset shift. Okay, we
- 22:40only got six more to go.
- 22:44The next one that shifted my existence
- 22:47was kind of based on the same passage
- 22:49and it's this one,
- 22:52the four levels of value. The lowest
- 22:54level of value is implementation.
- 22:56down here. You use your muscles over
- 22:59time to make money.
- 23:02Wealth
- 23:06is
- 23:07a spiritual
- 23:13it's a spiritual attribute. Wealth is
- 23:16spiritual.
- 23:19In fact, poverty is always the result of
- 23:22spiritual warfare.
- 23:25>> Always. There are no exceptions to that.
- 23:29Man lacked nothing until Satan attacked
- 23:31in the garden and man believed Satan's
- 23:33word over God's word. Poverty is always
- 23:35the result of spiritual warfare. Okay?
- 23:38So implementation is the lowest level of
- 23:41value. We like wealth is not money.
- 23:45Wealth is my ability to create value for
- 23:48someone other than me. And if the only
- 23:51thing I have to use to create value for
- 23:53someone other than me is my muscles over
- 23:54time. the amount of wealth I'm going to
- 23:56create is going to be limited.
- 23:59Are y'all tracking?
- 24:01>> If you go to a hotel, I don't care if
- 24:04you're paying $2,300 a night for a hotel
- 24:08room. The people who make the least
- 24:10amount of money working at that hotel
- 24:12are the housekeeping staff. Nobody wants
- 24:14to stay in a dirty hotel room.
- 24:17Like, we ain't having it. Right?
- 24:21Find a piece of hair in the sink. You go
- 24:22down. My sink is dirty. Right?
- 24:27Without housekeeping staff, you can't
- 24:29have a hotel. And yet, they get paid the
- 24:32least. Why? They don't get paid the
- 24:34least because of what they do is not
- 24:36valuable. What they do is immensely
- 24:38valuable, but it's on the lowest level
- 24:40of value. The level of value that they
- 24:42work on has a ceiling. Are y'all
- 24:44tracking? So, the next lowest level of
- 24:46value is unification.
- 24:50On this level, we use management skills
- 24:52to make money. And if you're managing
- 24:55other people, that is a higher spiritual
- 24:57activity than doing the thing yourself.
- 25:00Oh, now I get it. So managers make more
- 25:02than the people they manage. Even though
- 25:04the people they manage are doing more of
- 25:05the the work itself than the manager
- 25:10on a unification level. Like there's
- 25:12limitations on the low end. You might
- 25:14make 80,000 a year on the high end or
- 25:16you might make 250,000 a year, but
- 25:19there's a ceiling. You can't you you you
- 25:21can't create wealth doing this. You can
- 25:24create wealth while you're down here.
- 25:25You can create wealth if you're down
- 25:26here. If you do the right things with
- 25:28your money, but you won't be creating
- 25:29the wealth because of this or because of
- 25:31that. Are y'all tracking? Wealth begins
- 25:33to be created above this line.
- 25:39And this is where wealth begins to be
- 25:41created. Communication.
- 25:45Use your mouth to make money. Two
- 25:48caveats. Number one, you must have a
- 25:50mouth.
- 25:53Congratulations. All of you are in the
- 25:55catbird seat right now. Number two, you
- 25:58have to learn how to use that mouth
- 26:00effectively to communicate messages that
- 26:02move the masses and have conversations
- 26:04that create cash flow.
- 26:08So, the highest level is imagination.
- 26:15Now, I've I've often said I got this
- 26:17from Genesis chapter 1. And I know
- 26:18people saying, "Well, ain't in Genesis
- 26:19chapter 1." I didn't see that in Genesis
- 26:20chapter one. So, I'm going tell you I'm
- 26:22going to tell you what I saw. Here's
- 26:23what it says. And God said, "Let us make
- 26:26man in our image." So, in order for God
- 26:28to say, "Let us make man in our image,"
- 26:30what had to exist before God could say
- 26:32that? The image.
- 26:34Imagination. Image is the root word for
- 26:36imagination. So, God made man to have an
- 26:39imagination. And then it says, "And God
- 26:41said, what's that?" Communication.
- 26:44God didn't say, "Let me make man in my
- 26:46image." He said, "What?" "Let us make
- 26:48man in our image." Unification.
- 26:51The last thing it says in Genesis 2:7,
- 26:53it says, "And the Lord God formed man of
- 26:56the dust of the ground." That's
- 26:57implementation. Our body is the the
- 26:59lowest part of us. By the way, did you
- 27:02know that that's why that's why we use
- 27:05like animals when they go eat, they
- 27:07lower their face to their food? Why?
- 27:09Because the body is what in it is what
- 27:11it is. Horse is a horse is a horse. Of
- 27:13course, when humans eat, we put our food
- 27:15on a plate and then we use utensils to
- 27:18lift the food to our head. You know what
- 27:20that's a picture of? That this part of
- 27:22me is giving a sacrifice to this part of
- 27:26me. It's a picture. So, this right here
- 27:31changed my life when I said, "I'm done
- 27:34spending most of my time. I'm not done
- 27:36down here. I don't I still do stuff down
- 27:37here, but I spend 80% of my work is up.
- 27:4180% of my work is up here and only 20%
- 27:44max is down here.
- 27:48Game changer.
- 27:50I don't like talking. Okay, cool.
- 27:54Keep cutting the grass.
- 27:58Keep washing the car. Keep fixing Keep
- 27:59fixing your car, right? Keep cleaning
- 28:02the hotel.
- 28:06I didn't put this in there. Okay, so
- 28:07four laws, four levels of value. Um,
- 28:10next one. I'm just going to do this one
- 28:12really quickly. It's easier to make a
- 28:14lot of money in a short period of time
- 28:15than it is to make a little money over a
- 28:16long period of time. That changed my
- 28:17life. It's easier to make a lot of money
- 28:20in a short period of time. I I don't
- 28:23care what your definition of a lot of
- 28:25money is. I don't care what your
- 28:28definition of a little bit of time is,
- 28:31but let me put it in like 20 2025
- 28:34language. It's easier to make a $100,000
- 28:37a month than it is to make $100,000 a
- 28:40year.
- 28:44It's easier to make $100,000 a week than
- 28:46it is to make $100,000 a month. It's
- 28:49easier to make $100,000 in a day than it
- 28:51is to make $100,000 in a week. And it's
- 28:52easier to make $100,000 in an hour than
- 28:54it is to make $100,000 in a day. And I
- 28:57know all of those are true because I've
- 28:58done all of them and I'm not bragging
- 28:59and I've shown other people how to do
- 29:00all of those and they've like it's not a
- 29:03myin thing.
- 29:05It's easier to make a lot of money in a
- 29:07short period of time. Your problem is
- 29:09not that that's not true for you. Your
- 29:11problem is that you don't know how to
- 29:12believe it
- 29:14because if you believed it, you would do
- 29:16the same thing I did when I discovered
- 29:17it. And you know what I did? I made a
- 29:19decision.
- 29:21I be once I became aware of this because
- 29:23all transformation are six levels of
- 29:25transformation. Awareness, intention,
- 29:28decision, discipline,
- 29:30recognition, and celebration. And so
- 29:33when I became aware of the fact that
- 29:34it's easier to make a lot of money in a
- 29:35short period of time than is make a
- 29:36little money over a long period of time,
- 29:37I made a decision. I set an intention
- 29:39and made a decision. And my intention
- 29:41was, I'm not doing the hard stuff to
- 29:43make a little bit of money anymore. I'm
- 29:44done.
- 29:48>> I'm done. I made a decision. And when I
- 29:50made that decision, I had enough
- 29:51discipline to stick to it. I'm not
- 29:53looking for I'm not going to look for
- 29:54I'm not going to look at any of the hard
- 29:56ways to make a little bit of money. And
- 29:57you know what happens when you do that?
- 29:59How much is a little and how much is a
- 30:00lot changes. Somebody call me, "Hey, I
- 30:03got this great way to make $50,000. I
- 30:04don't want to have a conversation with
- 30:05you about making $50,000."
- 30:07Because to me, not because I'm all that
- 30:10in the back. Like it's that's that's not
- 30:12a good use of my time,
- 30:15but it's not because I'm all that. It's
- 30:17just because this awareness has shifted
- 30:20everything for me and it'll shift
- 30:21everything for you if you can just get
- 30:23yourself to believe it. Okay?
- 30:27And so
- 30:29it's easier to make a lot of money a
- 30:32short period of time than to make a
- 30:33little money over a long period of time.
- 30:37I've got four more. This is crazy. What
- 30:40happened to all that time? Okay. Yeah,
- 30:42I'm doing great. I'm doing wonderful.
- 30:44So, here's what we're going to do. I'm
- 30:46going to do a part two.
- 30:49I've entitled this video escaping the
- 30:50rat race because so many people feel
- 30:53trapped in a cycle that feels extremely
- 30:57unproductive. And I'm going to share
- 30:59with you some principles that I've
- 31:00discovered that helped me escape the rat
- 31:02race. And this is a continuation
- 31:05of a video that I you saw the first part
- 31:08of last week if you saw it like the
- 31:10video we released last week. Because
- 31:12right now, while you're watching this, I
- 31:14am on vacation. Okay? And so, um, but
- 31:18I've gave I've given this video a
- 31:19different title, escape the rat race.
- 31:21And I'm going to give you the last four
- 31:22mindsets that have made me millions of
- 31:24dollars. We talked about mindsets that
- 31:26make millions last on the video last
- 31:28week. Well, these are the final four of
- 31:30those mindsets that make millions. So,
- 31:33um, the first one was from last week was
- 31:35be do have, and go watch the video if
- 31:37you don't know what I mean by that. The
- 31:39second one was the four levels of value.
- 31:41And the third one was it's easier to
- 31:43make a lot of money in a short period of
- 31:44time than it is to make a little money
- 31:46over a long period of time. Um the next
- 31:49one is nothing is expensive,
- 31:53right? Nothing is expensive. And I I was
- 31:55listening to a Jim Ran audio series a
- 31:58long time ago and um he said he said to
- 32:02his mentor, Mr. Earl Earl Schae, he
- 32:05said, "Mr. show. Um, he said, "I can't
- 32:10buy that because it's too expensive." He
- 32:12said, and he said, his mentor said to
- 32:14him, "It's not too expensive, Mr. Ran.
- 32:17You can't afford it." And and the
- 32:20difference is
- 32:22if it's too expensive, the problem is it
- 32:26and you can't fix it. But if you can't
- 32:29afford it, the problem is you and you
- 32:32can fix you. You're the only person who
- 32:34can fix you. And obviously when I talk
- 32:37about fixing you, I'm talking about your
- 32:38habits, right? I'm not talking about
- 32:41you get it. So, so nothing's expensive.
- 32:46Everything just costs what it costs. In
- 32:49fact, there are things you buy right now
- 32:52that
- 32:53there was a time in your life when you
- 32:56felt like they were expensive. They were
- 33:00too expensive. So
- 33:02when I when I had a poverty mindset,
- 33:06I used to tr like my whole life was
- 33:08figuring out how can I get it for less,
- 33:10how can I get it for less, how can I get
- 33:11it for less, how can I get it for less.
- 33:13And I remember my brother Rob, he went
- 33:16off to the Marine Corps and we grew up
- 33:19really really poor. Like there was there
- 33:20was nine of us in my in our house unless
- 33:23my parents brought some of our cousins
- 33:25to live with us for the summer and then
- 33:26there might have been 13 or 14 of us,
- 33:28right? And we never lived in mansions or
- 33:31anything. And and my f my parents worked
- 33:33hard but you know it it was a struggle
- 33:35to feed seven sons and then sometimes
- 33:37they're cousins. And so so
- 33:41I learned how to take something that was
- 33:45not enough and make it do. My dad called
- 33:47that Mr. Make do. I'm going to introduce
- 33:49you to Mr. Make do. You just find what
- 33:51you need and you make it do. Right? You
- 33:53find what you can find, make it do. And
- 33:55um and so so my whole mentality growing
- 33:59up was okay, we would buy cheap cars and
- 34:01then we'd spend hours and hours working
- 34:03on them, changing the transmission,
- 34:04changing the engine, fixing. And some of
- 34:06you know exactly what I'm talking about.
- 34:08You've lived that life, right? And and
- 34:10and it wasn't a bad experience. It was
- 34:12just my experience. Some I a lot of
- 34:16times we think of things in the past
- 34:17that were difficult and painful. We
- 34:19think and it wasn't even painful, but we
- 34:21think of things that are difficult and
- 34:22painful as being bad. They weren't bad.
- 34:24They were just they were part of your
- 34:25they were part of your preparation for
- 34:27your assignment. Anyway, so so so I
- 34:30would buy raggedy cars. In fact, my very
- 34:32first business that wasn't I didn't even
- 34:34realize it was a business was I when I
- 34:36came home for the summer uh from after
- 34:38my first year in college and I bought a
- 34:40car for $50 from the Paxtane Herald in
- 34:42Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and I drove it
- 34:44around all summer. Then I sold it for
- 34:45$300 before I went back to college.
- 34:47Right. And I made $250 profit on that
- 34:49car. Well, the business that I started
- 34:51was I started buying old raggedy cars,
- 34:55fixing them up and selling them, right?
- 34:57And so and and and so if I was going to
- 35:00buy a house, I wanted to get the
- 35:01cheapest rent I could get. And if that
- 35:02meant I had to spend months working on
- 35:04the house, then I would spend months
- 35:06renovating the house for the person who
- 35:08owned the house so I could live in the
- 35:09house and only pay $150 a month for rent
- 35:12or $250 a month for rent or $300 for
- 35:15rent, right? So, I would get the house
- 35:16for as little as I could and do as much
- 35:18work as I had to to make that work,
- 35:20right? I remember the very first house
- 35:22that I bought was a five- bedroomedroom
- 35:24brick row house in Harrisburg,
- 35:26Pennsylvania, 636 Emerald Street. Um,
- 35:28and I bought it at the tax sale because
- 35:31there's a sale in every county there.
- 35:34They have a tax sale. They have they
- 35:35have a judicial sale and a municipal
- 35:37judicial sale and a municipal municipal
- 35:39sale. I think they're what it's called.
- 35:40Well, the judicial when you buy a tax a
- 35:43house on the tax sale for the judic
- 35:45judicial sale, you don't have to pay off
- 35:47the old taxes. You just buy the house
- 35:48and you own it free and clear. And so,
- 35:51but you go to an auction and there are
- 35:52other people bidding on this house. And
- 35:53so, I had like seven houses that I was
- 35:56going to bid on, right? And I didn't
- 35:57have a ton of money. I had a job. So,
- 35:59you know, I had a few thousand. And so,
- 36:01I go to this house and I had a couple
- 36:03houses I was and some of the houses I
- 36:04looked at I wasn't really crazy about,
- 36:05but I was willing to bid on them. And
- 36:07then people were like running these
- 36:08things up into the thousands of dollars.
- 36:09I'm like, I'm not going to get a house
- 36:11today, right? And so then 636 Emerald
- 36:14Street, whatever the lot number was,
- 36:16blah blah blah, it came up and said, um,
- 36:18can I get a bid for $200?
- 36:21Can I get a bid for $200? Because they
- 36:23started all the bids at $200. Can I get
- 36:25a bid for $200? Nobody said anything.
- 36:26And I'm like, I'm I know how to
- 36:28negotiate. I'm not going to be in a
- 36:29hurry because then people are going to
- 36:30start like, can I get a bid for $200? I
- 36:33wait until he said it about four times
- 36:34and I'm like I'm not I'm like I I'll
- 36:37give you a bit of like I didn't want
- 36:38anybody to see my hand. I didn't go like
- 36:40I'm like he said I got 200. Can I get
- 36:43250? I got 200. Can I get 250? I got
- 36:45200. Can I get 250? Sold for $200. I
- 36:48bought that house for $200.
- 36:51That was my first house. I spent years
- 36:54renovating that house,
- 36:57which is okay, but that's what I knew
- 36:59how to do. That was the first house I
- 37:01ever bought. I spent $200 on that house
- 37:06because I thought buying a house the
- 37:09regular way, it was too expensive. But
- 37:12it wasn't too expensive. I just couldn't
- 37:14afford it. And the reason I couldn't
- 37:16afford it was because of the way that I
- 37:17was thinking about money. And the way
- 37:20that I was thinking about money as it
- 37:21relates to me and the way that I thought
- 37:24the things that I thought you had to do
- 37:25to make a lot of money, I wasn't good at
- 37:28any of them. I thought, are y'all
- 37:30tracking? I thought I wasn't good at any
- 37:32of them. I was actually good at some of
- 37:33them. I just didn't know I was good. And
- 37:34I didn't know the things I was good at
- 37:35could make you money. It's so
- 37:37interesting how we all have sktoomas. We
- 37:40all have blind spots. And I had some
- 37:42blind spots that were like,
- 37:44I don't know. And so, so that was the
- 37:47first house I bought. Well, the last
- 37:49house I just bought was 2.4 million.
- 37:52That's way more expensive than 200. So,
- 37:54what happened? Did houses change? Did
- 37:57the housing market change? Yeah, houses
- 37:59got more expensive. So, so nothing is
- 38:03really expensive. Everything costs what
- 38:04it costs. Like, it amazes me that people
- 38:06obsess over the price of gas and they
- 38:09know they have to put gas in their car
- 38:10anyway. What difference does it make?
- 38:11What difference does it make? How much
- 38:12it cost? I'm not saying that because and
- 38:14I know some of you are going to say,
- 38:15"Oh, that sounds like a snoody rich."
- 38:17No, no, no. I'm just saying when I was
- 38:19poor, I didn't obsess over the price of
- 38:21gas. Why? I knew I had to put it in my
- 38:22car anyway. I was either going to put it
- 38:23in my car or wear out my sneakers.
- 38:25Right? Those are my choices. And so,
- 38:27nothing is expensive. I just have to if
- 38:30I want to be able to afford if I want to
- 38:32be able to afford things that I desire
- 38:34to have, I have to learn how to think
- 38:36better, right? And if I learn how to
- 38:39think better, then I will be able to
- 38:42afford whatever I desire to afford. In
- 38:45fact, um, by the time you watch this
- 38:47video, you can go back to a video that I
- 38:49released as a live on, um, on July 14th,
- 38:562025 called Money Traps, and I break
- 39:00down
- 39:02how for rich people, everything costs
- 39:05the same amount. It doesn't matter if
- 39:08I'm buying a bottle of water, a pair of
- 39:10shoes, a car, a house, or a private
- 39:13island. It all costs the same amount.
- 39:15So, if you want to like go back and
- 39:17watch that video, okay, from July 14th,
- 39:202025 as a live. Go watch that. It's
- 39:22called Money Traps. Okay, cool. So,
- 39:24nothing is expensive. So, that was a
- 39:26that was a mindset shift. So, all I had
- 39:28to do was figure out then I didn't I
- 39:30didn't have to figure out how to make it
- 39:31cost less. All I had to figure out is a
- 39:33way All I had to do is figure out a way
- 39:35that I could afford it. and then it
- 39:37didn't matter. Does that make sense
- 39:38everyone? Yes.
- 39:39>> Okay. So, so that one changed my life.
- 39:41Nothing's expensive. And so, by the way,
- 39:44the reason that's such an important
- 39:46thing is because if I say it costs too
- 39:49much,
- 39:53what I'm doing is I'm making a dead-end
- 39:55statement.
- 39:57But I can change that. I can change the
- 39:59dead-end statement. I don't I in fact I
- 40:01don't have if if what if I never said it
- 40:03cost too much again or it's too
- 40:05expensive or what if what if I never
- 40:06even said I can't afford it again.
- 40:09Instead of making a dead-end statement
- 40:12let's ask an open door question. Would
- 40:15y'all like to know what an open door
- 40:17question is? Yes.
- 40:18>> Instead of saying it's too expensive or
- 40:20it costs too much or I can't afford it.
- 40:22What if I said how can I afford this?
- 40:27Like and if I apply the principles we
- 40:29talked about on the video from last
- 40:30week, be do have. Who do I have to be to
- 40:33afford this? What do I have to do to
- 40:36afford this?
- 40:38Oh, that's so helpful. Who do I have to
- 40:41become so I can afford this? What do I
- 40:43have to do so I can afford this? Cool.
- 40:45Okay, so nothing's expensive. We got
- 40:47that one. Then this one shook me to my
- 40:50core. So I don't know what happens to
- 40:52you when you're reading a book and you
- 40:54come across a word and you don't know
- 40:55the definition. I don't know what I
- 40:57don't know what happens to you. Well, I
- 40:58know you you probably yawn. Most people
- 41:00yawn. I don't know if you know. Just pay
- 41:02attention to that next time you read a
- 41:04book and you come across a word that you
- 41:06don't know the definition. You will go
- 41:07like your brain's looking for some
- 41:09oxygen, right? Okay. Um maybe you feel
- 41:13like you're drowning in confusion. I
- 41:14don't know. But I yawn. So, but what I
- 41:16do when I come across a word that I
- 41:18don't know what it means, I go look it
- 41:19up. Why? Because if I don't know what
- 41:22that word means, I can't understand
- 41:24anything that comes after it.
- 41:26Are y'all tracking?
- 41:28>> And so I go look up the word. And so I
- 41:31was watching a video on YouTube and it
- 41:35was like a five maybe seven minute
- 41:36video. Dr. Jordan B. Peterson starts
- 41:39talking about Price's law. I'm like,
- 41:41Price's law? I've never heard of that
- 41:42before. Price's law? What is that? And
- 41:45this professor, um, Professor Derek
- 41:48Price,
- 41:49he discovered this principle and and he
- 41:52discovered that it's true across the
- 41:54board. And I'm going to show it to you
- 41:55on the board here in a minute, but I'm
- 41:57like, what is he talking about? What
- 42:00does this mean? And what does this mean
- 42:03to me? Like, what can I do with this
- 42:05information? Cuz like I I mean, knowing
- 42:07a cool principle is nice, but having
- 42:10something to apply it to is better. Like
- 42:12when I learn something new, my first
- 42:13question is, how can I use this? How can
- 42:15I use this? How can I use this? Right?
- 42:16How can I use this? Like how can I apply
- 42:17this to my life and make my life better?
- 42:19Right? Um, and so here's what here's I'm
- 42:23going to state Price's law and then I'm
- 42:24going to illustrate it on my trusty
- 42:26digital blackboard. So here's what
- 42:28Price's law states. Price's law states
- 42:29that 50%
- 42:32of the production of any domain is
- 42:36produced by the square root of that
- 42:38domain.
- 42:40Now he said so many words that I had to
- 42:43think about in that sentence. I mean so
- 42:45many 50% got that of the production got
- 42:48that of any domain. Okay, I think I got
- 42:50that is produced by the square root the
- 42:54square root of that domain. What is
- 42:57that? What in the world are we talking
- 42:59about right now? Well, here's what we're
- 43:00talking about. In fact, I'm going to go
- 43:02I'm going to go draw it for you because
- 43:04this is so cool. This is so cool. This
- 43:05is one of the coolest things I've ever
- 43:06learned in for for the purpose of high
- 43:08achievement. This is this may it's one
- 43:11of the coolest things I've ever learned.
- 43:12Okay. So he said it doesn't matter if
- 43:14it's a garden, if it's a sports team, if
- 43:15it's a sales team, if it's a business,
- 43:17if it's a country, it doesn't matter if
- 43:19it's a family, it doesn't matter. 50% of
- 43:21the production of any domain is produced
- 43:22by the square root of that domain. Okay?
- 43:24So what that means is if you have four
- 43:27tomato plants, the square root of four
- 43:30is two. So the four is two square.
- 43:35When you square a number, you're
- 43:36multiplying that number times itself,
- 43:38right? So 2 * 2 is four. Four is two
- 43:41square. 3 * 3 is nine. 9 is 3 square. 4
- 43:44* 4 is 16. 16 is four square. Y'all get
- 43:47it? Okay. So 50% of the production of
- 43:49any domain is produced by the square
- 43:51root of that domain. Which tells because
- 43:53two is the smallest whole number that
- 43:55you can square that like it changes into
- 43:58a different number. Like 1* 1 is only
- 44:00one, right? Okay. So 2 * 2 is four. So
- 44:02that means if you have four tomato
- 44:04plants
- 44:06or salespeople or businesses,
- 44:10it doesn't matter if you have four. In
- 44:13fact, I'm going to do this. I'm going to
- 44:15move these down
- 44:18there. That makes it better. Okay. So,
- 44:20it doesn't it doesn't matter what what
- 44:22arena they're in. it. If you have four,
- 44:25half of the production, half of the
- 44:28production is going to be produced by
- 44:30two
- 44:32of the whole domain, right? Like if you
- 44:35have four tomato plants, two of the
- 44:36tomato plants are going to produce half
- 44:38tomatoes. If you have four salespeople,
- 44:39two of the sales people are going to
- 44:40have produce half of the sales and make
- 44:42half of the commissions. If you have
- 44:45four businesses, two two of the
- 44:46businesses are going to produce the
- 44:47gross domestic product of the whatever
- 44:49that area is. Okay, cool. That's makes
- 44:53perfect sense because two is half of
- 44:55four. But when the numbers get bigger,
- 44:58it stops making sense.
- 45:00And this is why this this this like
- 45:02messed with me for weeks. I don't and
- 45:04maybe you are not as weird as I am, but
- 45:06but that messed with me for weeks
- 45:08because if I change the square root to
- 45:10three, then the square becomes nine. So
- 45:13if I have nine tomato plants, nine
- 45:15salespeople, nine businesses, half of
- 45:17the production is going to be produced
- 45:19by three.
- 45:20So, if I got, let's call it salespeople,
- 45:22you're all entrepreneurs or would would
- 45:24be entrepreneurs. If you got nine
- 45:26salespeople, three sales people are
- 45:27going to make half of the commissions,
- 45:28the other six people are going to have
- 45:30to split the other half.
- 45:31>> Yes.
- 45:33>> What
- 45:36if you have if you have if you have
- 45:38three businesses in a town, I mean, nine
- 45:41businesses in a town, three of them are
- 45:42going to produce half of the production,
- 45:44half of the wealth, half of the money of
- 45:45that town. The other six businesses have
- 45:48to split the rest.
- 45:50Are y'all seeing why this is such a
- 45:52challenge? Okay, then what what happens
- 45:54when you get to a bigger number? Let's
- 45:55go to 10. Let's go to um 10 square. 10
- 45:59squared is 100. If you have a hundred
- 46:01salespeople, 50% of the commissions made
- 46:03by 10 people. Now, this is starting to
- 46:05get ridiculous,
- 46:08isn't it?
- 46:10Basketball players, golfers, baseball
- 46:12players, football players, musicians, it
- 46:14it's it's across the board. You'll see
- 46:16that it's true in a minute. Like I'm
- 46:18getting chills thinking about this. Like
- 46:19when I name those different categories
- 46:20and I think about how many people there
- 46:22are who are at the top of the top of the
- 46:24top of the top, it's always very small.
- 46:26And see and and and so this is how we
- 46:29this is one of the ways we know that
- 46:30when the government says they're going
- 46:32to sol they're going to solve income
- 46:33inequality, they're lying
- 46:37>> because income is the result of
- 46:39productivity.
- 46:40>> And if you don't fix productivity
- 46:42inequality, you can't fix income
- 46:44inequality.
- 46:45Are y'all tracking? Okay. So what
- 46:48happens when it becomes 100? 100 times
- 46:51100 is 10,000. This is crazy. What are
- 46:54we talking about here? We're talking
- 46:55about if you have if you have a big
- 46:56business like Century 21, like like
- 46:59Credential, like Metife, you have a big
- 47:01company that sells like across the
- 47:03country or across the world. If you got
- 47:05a 10,000 salespeople, 100 salespeople
- 47:08make half of the commissions.
- 47:11Does that wreck your mind?
- 47:14And then here's what here's what wrecks
- 47:16my mind too. So now we got 9,990
- 47:209,900.
- 47:21We got to apply Price's law to that too.
- 47:23And then it happens again. And then
- 47:24whatever's left over, we apply it to
- 47:25that again. And it happens again. And it
- 47:27keeps happening.
- 47:29This is absolute bananas,
- 47:32right? So
- 47:35what's Oh, how about this? There are 30
- 47:38million businesses in the United States.
- 47:4130 million businesses. You know what
- 47:44that means? That means that half of the
- 47:47gross domestic product of the United
- 47:48States of America is produced by the
- 47:50square root of of uh 30 million, which I
- 47:54think is 5477.
- 47:595,477
- 48:01businesses produce half of the wealth
- 48:05in the whole country of the United
- 48:06States of America.
- 48:09And if you don't believe me, think about
- 48:10it. How many Facebooks, Google's,
- 48:13Apples, etc., etc., etc. Are there that
- 48:16make trillions of dollars? There's a
- 48:17handful of companies that make
- 48:18trillions, another bigger handful that
- 48:20make billions, and then when you start
- 48:22getting down to hundreds of millions and
- 48:23tens of millions, it just the numbers
- 48:24just keep getting smaller. Now, why is
- 48:27this so significant? What there's has to
- 48:29be like this has to mean something
- 48:32practically, doesn't it? It has to mean
- 48:34something practically. So then my like
- 48:36this is why it messed me up for at least
- 48:38weeks, maybe months. like what can I do
- 48:40with this information? Well, here's what
- 48:42it mean. Here's what I discovered from
- 48:44this practically. You ready? Here's the
- 48:46here's the mind the the brain breaker,
- 48:48the mindblower. Y'all ready?
- 48:51Mediocrity
- 48:52scales exponentially.
- 48:56Think about that. Being average, being
- 48:58mediocre is something that scales
- 49:01exponentially. Mediocrity scales
- 49:03exponentially, but excellence only
- 49:06scales incrementally.
- 49:08God,
- 49:11is that the is that crazy town?
- 49:15That's why you only have like one
- 49:18Michael Jordan or you got like when
- 49:21Michael Jordan was in the league, you
- 49:22got Michael Jordan, you got Larry Bird,
- 49:23you got Magic Johnson, you got Kareem
- 49:26Abdul Jabar, like you have a handful of
- 49:28people out of hundreds of basketball
- 49:29players that are considered to be among
- 49:32the best in the world. Like you have the
- 49:33all-star team and then you have
- 49:35everybody else.
- 49:37Like in like I'm a golfer so I think
- 49:39about golf like there are only maybe
- 49:43maybe two golfers that I know of maybe
- 49:45two maybe three golfers that have ever
- 49:47won more than 10 majors out of the
- 49:49thousands of professional golfers that
- 49:51have ever been.
- 49:54Now, you know what that means? By the
- 49:57way, that that probably sounds
- 49:58discouraging to some of you
- 50:01until you remember something else that
- 50:03Jim Ran said. Are y'all ready? There's
- 50:06plenty of room at the top. It's the
- 50:08bottom that's crowded.
- 50:12>> Average and ordinary has way more
- 50:15competition than excellence.
- 50:23Let this change your game forever. So I
- 50:25have to ask then I start asking myself
- 50:27the question okay who do I have to
- 50:28become? What do I have to do to be one
- 50:31of the fantastic few and not be one of
- 50:33the mediocre many? And then I focus on
- 50:35those things because if this is true for
- 50:38people
- 50:40it's also true for the activities of
- 50:43those people.
- 50:45So you take 10 things that you're doing
- 50:47not no not 10 things you take 100 things
- 50:49that you're doing you're 100 things that
- 50:51you're doing right now 10 of them are
- 50:53producing half of your results
- 50:55[Laughter]
- 50:58>> what if you if you if you if you take
- 51:01nine things that you're doing right now
- 51:03six of them are pretty much unnecessary
- 51:06six of them three of them to produce
- 51:08half your results we can focus on like
- 51:11if we will take inventory of our
- 51:13activities we can figure out what's the
- 51:16square root that's producing half our
- 51:18results and focus most of our attention
- 51:19on that and then we take the other we
- 51:21take the other six things are left over
- 51:23and then we square root that and we
- 51:24figure out which things in that are
- 51:25causes most of the results in that part
- 51:27and then we get rid of and you can
- 51:28optimize your life you can optimize your
- 51:31business
- 51:33because mediocrity scales exponentially
- 51:36but excellence only scales incrementally
- 51:37okay cool now what's the next one
- 51:41oh my goodness
- 51:43oh my goodness
- 51:45If you want to you you talking we're
- 51:48talking about mindsets that make million
- 51:49mindsets that make millionaires
- 51:53calculate the cost of inaction every
- 51:56time you calculate the cost of action.
- 52:01See most people know how much it cost if
- 52:04they do do what? Whatever. But they
- 52:08don't know how much it cost if they
- 52:09don't.
- 52:12>> Wow. Ah, I think about I think about
- 52:18Yeah, I got time to tell you this
- 52:19because I only have one more
- 52:26think I think about back in 2001
- 52:31when I did this event in Waco, Texas,
- 52:35and I invited this guy named Jerry to
- 52:38come and speak at my event. And Jerry
- 52:41had been in the business of speaking for
- 52:4415 years. I was just getting started.
- 52:48And I let Jerry speak at my event. He
- 52:50made an offer. Jerry made some sales. He
- 52:52made 10 times as much in as as I did.
- 52:56Okay? Because I that was my first event.
- 52:58I did $350 in sales. Jerry did $3,500 in
- 53:01sales. And there were only like 35
- 53:03people there. I'm like, "What what just
- 53:04happened?" And so Jerry says, "Hey, when
- 53:06you come to Dallas tomorrow, let's have
- 53:07lunch when before you fly back home." I
- 53:09said, "Okay, cool." So, we go to lunch.
- 53:10He spends two hours breaking down the
- 53:12speaking business to me. And then he
- 53:14said something that sounded crazy to me.
- 53:17He said, "Oh, don't worry about it, man.
- 53:19I got lunch." I said, "Oh, no, sir. No,
- 53:21sir. You're not a gonna teach me how to
- 53:23make a million dollars and buy my
- 53:24lunch?" "No, no, no, no, no, no, no. We
- 53:26ain't doing that. I got lunch."
- 53:29And I asked him about that a few years
- 53:30later. I said, "Jerry, do you remember
- 53:31when you offered to buy my lunch that
- 53:32day?" He said, "Yeah, that was a test."
- 53:35He said, "If you would have let me buy
- 53:36that your lunch that day, I wouldn't
- 53:37have had anything else to do with you.
- 53:41because I would have realized you're a
- 53:42taker and not a giver. It's like he was
- 53:45giving me a test and didn't even tell me
- 53:46I was taking it. At least in school they
- 53:48tell you you're taking test but in life
- 53:50life doesn't tell you when you're taking
- 53:51a test.
- 53:53And that changed that day changed my
- 53:56life because Jerry
- 53:59Jerry took an interest in me. Now, I
- 54:01paid him for some of his trainings and
- 54:03he ch he taught me a whole bunch of
- 54:04stuff, but that changed my life because
- 54:08I took action and didn't let him buy my
- 54:11lunch and it changed my life.
- 54:19If there's something you can do to make
- 54:22your life better
- 54:24and the only thing it's going to cost
- 54:26you is money.
- 54:30And you say no because of the price,
- 54:34you are saying no to opportunities in
- 54:37the future that are so bright if you had
- 54:40access to them, you'd have to sleep with
- 54:42sunglasses on.
- 54:46But we calculate the cost of action, but
- 54:49we don't calculate the cost of inaction.
- 54:52>> By the way, when you're selling, if
- 54:54you're an entrepreneur and you sell, if
- 54:57you show people how much it costs if
- 54:58they say yes, but you don't show them
- 55:01how much it costs if they say no, you've
- 55:04done them a disservice.
- 55:07How many y'all tracking? I I I could
- 55:09name I could name dozens of people,
- 55:12clients of mine who if I named them, you
- 55:14would know them, who've done millions of
- 55:16dollars in revenue in a day. But in
- 55:18order for them to do millions of dollars
- 55:19in revenue in a day, I they want they I
- 55:23taught them how to do that. So they had
- 55:24to pay me tens of thousands of dollars.
- 55:27Some of them paid me hundreds of
- 55:28thousands of dollars.
- 55:30I'm not saying that because I have
- 55:31something for you to buy from me for
- 55:32hundreds of thousand dollars or tens of
- 55:34thousand dollars today. I mean, I have
- 55:35stuff, but that's not why I'm talking
- 55:36about it. But if they would have said no
- 55:39to tens of thousands of dollars, I've
- 55:41got dozens of people that would have
- 55:43cost them a million dollar day. So make
- 55:45sure
- 55:46you know the cost of inaction
- 55:50as much as you know the cost of action
- 55:54because sometimes
- 55:57action costs thousands but inaction
- 56:00costs millions. Okay, here's the last
- 56:02thing I'm going to cover on this video
- 56:04just for the sake of time and because I
- 56:07think it'll change your life.
- 56:09Okay,
- 56:10this is a mindset
- 56:13that will change everything for you. Ask
- 56:17yourself this question.
- 56:19Every time you have an expense, every
- 56:20time you have something you pay for, ask
- 56:22yourself this question. How can I turn
- 56:25this
- 56:26expense
- 56:28into a profit center?
- 56:31How can I turn this expense into a
- 56:32profit center? I'm going to give you an
- 56:34example.
- 56:36So, I just bought a house and they told
- 56:38you I paid $2.4 million for this house.
- 56:42So, $2.4 million is relatively
- 56:46significant to some, not as significant
- 56:48to others, right? But it's a fairly
- 56:50sizable sum of money for a place to
- 56:53live, right? Okay. So, um,
- 56:59one of the things we're having the house
- 57:00renovated right now. So, we're putting a
- 57:03few hundred,000 more dollars into
- 57:04renovations, which is kind of crazy, but
- 57:06it's it is what it is. But the reason
- 57:08I'm telling you that is like, how can I
- 57:12turn I got to live in I'm going to live
- 57:13in this house, right? I'm going to live
- 57:15in the house. I'm like, I'm not going to
- 57:16rent it out for Airbnb, right? So, I'm
- 57:19not going to do masterminds there. Like,
- 57:21I'm not going to like have clients come
- 57:22to my house. I'm not I'm not doing that.
- 57:23So, what am I gonna How can I turn my
- 57:25house into a profit center? Well, one of
- 57:26the rooms, one of the bedrooms, I turned
- 57:29into a golf simulator room.
- 57:32And I bought a golf simulator. And it's
- 57:34the absolute best golf simulator on the
- 57:37market.
- 57:39And I'm going to start a golf YouTube
- 57:42channel.
- 57:44And on that golf YouTube channel, it'll
- 57:46be about simulated golf and real life
- 57:49golf. Me and simulated golf and real
- 57:51life golf. And that YouTube channel I
- 57:54believe inside a year inside a year
- 57:57maybe it might take two and that's fine
- 57:59will completely pay for that mortgage
- 58:01payment on that house.
- 58:04>> So how can I turn
- 58:07every expense into a profit center? So
- 58:12now here here's the thing. It's not
- 58:14about
- 58:16It's not necessarily about
- 58:19I've got to become this other person.
- 58:21Like here's You may ask that question.
- 58:24How can I turn this expense into a
- 58:25profit center? You may ask that question
- 58:26and never find an answer.
- 58:29But if you don't ask the question, I can
- 58:31guarantee you ain't going to find an
- 58:32answer. Does that make sense? And so,
- 58:36like,
- 58:37it's interesting that there are millions
- 58:40of women around the world who cook, but
- 58:42Rachel Ray turned it into millions of
- 58:44dollars.
- 58:46There are millions of people who are
- 58:47curious, but Oprah Winfrey turned it
- 58:49into billions of dollars.
- 58:53It's it's it's wild to me. It's wild to
- 58:57me that there are television shows
- 59:03about people going and bidding on
- 59:08people's abandoned storage units and
- 59:10their junk television shows.
- 59:16Figure out how you can take some of the
- 59:18things that you already do anyway
- 59:21and turn them into a profit center. I
- 59:24call that an anyway offer.
- 59:27And so if you will apply the four
- 59:31principles from this week's video, the
- 59:33three principles from last week's video,
- 59:35and you will start adapting and adopting
- 59:37those mindsets, those mindsets can make
- 59:40you millions.
- 59:42And they may or may not, but at least
- 59:45you've given yourself a chance. It's
- 59:47kind of like when I'm playing golf and
- 59:48I'm put rolling a putt. A putt that
- 59:51comes up short or breaking putt that is
- 59:54below the hole has no chance of going
- 59:56in.
- 59:57I'm not saying you're going to make
- 59:58millions of dollars. Here's what I'm
- 1:00:00saying. It might be worth your while to
- 1:00:05give yourself a chance. Thanks for
- 1:00:07watching. Appreciate it. And we'll look
- 1:00:08forward to seeing you on the next video.
- 1:00:10Bye for now.
