  9. 0:34chapter 5 as you read the words upon
  10. 0:38this page you realize that the
  11. 0:41information that you are receiving is
  12. 0:44not an attribute of the letters of the
  13. 0:47words themselves the printed line does
  14. 0:51not contain information it transmits
  15. 0:55information where is the information
  16. 0:59that is being transmitted then if it is
  17. 1:03not upon the page the same question of
  18. 1:08course applies when you read a newspaper
  19. 1:10and when you speak to another person
  20. 1:14your actual words convey information
  21. 1:17feelings or thoughts
  22. 1:20obviously the thoughts or the feelings
  23. 1:23and the words are not the same thing the
  24. 1:27letters upon the page are symbols and
  25. 1:30you have agreed upon various meanings
  26. 1:33connected with them
  27. 1:35you take it for granted without even
  28. 1:38thinking of it that the symbols the
  29. 1:41letters are not the reality the
  30. 1:43information or thoughts which they
  31. 1:46attempt to convey now in the same way I
  32. 1:51am telling you that objects are also
  33. 1:54symbols that stand for reality whose
  34. 1:57meaning the objects like the letters
  35. 2:00transmit the true information is not in
  36. 2:04the objects anymore then the thought is
  37. 2:08in the letters or in words words are
  38. 2:13methods of expression so are physical
  39. 2:17objects in a different kind of medium
  40. 2:20you are used to the idea that you
  41. 2:23express yourselves direct
  42. 2:25léa through words you can hear yourself
  43. 2:29speak them you can feel the muscles in
  44. 2:33your throat move and if you are aware
  45. 2:36you can perceive multitudinous reactions
  46. 2:40within your own body actions that all
  47. 2:44accompany your speech physical objects
  48. 2:49are the result of another kind of
  49. 2:52expression you create them as surely as
  50. 2:56you create words I do not mean that you
  51. 3:00create them with your hands alone or
  52. 3:05through manufacture I mean that objects
  53. 3:09are natural byproducts of the evolution
  54. 3:13of your species even as words are
  55. 3:17examine for a moment your knowledge of
  56. 3:21your own speech however though you hear
  57. 3:25the words and recognize their
  58. 3:29appropriateness and though they may more
  59. 3:32or less approximate an expression of
  60. 3:35your feeling they are not your feeling
  61. 3:38and there must be a gap between your
  62. 3:42thought and your expression of it the
  63. 3:46familiarity of speech begins to vanish
  64. 3:49when you realize that you yourself when
  65. 3:53you begin a sentence do not know
  66. 3:55precisely how you will end it or even
  67. 3:59how you form the words you do not
  68. 4:03consciously know how you manipulate a
  69. 4:06staggering pyramid of symbols picking
  70. 4:09from them precisely those you need to
  71. 4:13express a given thought for that matter
  72. 4:16you do not know how you think you do not
  73. 4:20know how you translate these symbols
  74. 4:23upon this page into thoughts and then
  75. 4:26store them or make them your own
  76. 4:29since the mechanisms of normal speech
  77. 4:31are so little known to you on a
  78. 4:34conscious level then it is not
  79. 4:36surprising that you are equal
  80. 4:38unaware of more complicated tasks that
  81. 4:42you also perform such as the constant
  82. 4:45creation of your physical environment as
  83. 4:48a method of communication and expression
  84. 4:51it is only from this viewpoint that the
  85. 4:55true nature of physical matter can be
  86. 4:57understood it is only by comprehending
  87. 5:01the nature of this constant translation
  88. 5:04of thoughts and desires not into words
  89. 5:08now but into physical objects that you
  90. 5:12can realize your true independence from
  91. 5:16circumstance time and environment
  92. 5:19now you may take a break smile a note I
  93. 5:26am very pleased I am pleased with the
  94. 5:30beginning of my chapter for I think I
  95. 5:33have hit upon an analogy and a true one
  96. 5:36that will release the reader from the
  97. 5:39artificial bondage of physical form when
  98. 5:43he sees it as a method of his own
  99. 5:46expression he will realize his own
  100. 5:49creative Annis now it is easy to see
  101. 5:57that you translate feelings into words
  102. 6:00or bodily expressions and gestures but
  103. 6:04not quite as easy to realize that you
  104. 6:07form your physical body as effortlessly
  105. 6:11and unselfish self-consciously
  106. 6:15as you translate feelings into symbols
  107. 6:18that become words you have heard the
  108. 6:23expression before I am sure that the
  109. 6:26environment expresses a particular
  110. 6:29individual personality I'm telling you
  111. 6:32that this is a literal and not symbolic
  112. 6:37truth the letters upon the page have the
  113. 6:42reality only of ink and paper the
  114. 6:45information they convey is invisible as
  115. 6:49an object this book itself is on
  116. 6:52paper and ink it is a carrier of
  117. 6:56information you may perhaps argue that
  118. 7:00the book was manufactured physically and
  119. 7:03did not suddenly erupt through Rupert's
  120. 7:06skull already printed and bound you in
  121. 7:10turn had to borrow or purchase the book
  122. 7:13so you may think surely I did not create
  123. 7:17the book as I created my words but
  124. 7:21before we are finished we will see that
  125. 7:24basically speaking each of you create
  126. 7:27the book you hold in your hands and that
  127. 7:31your entire physical environment comes
  128. 7:34as naturally out of your inner mind as
  129. 7:37words come out of your mouths and that
  130. 7:42man forms physical objects as
  131. 7:45unselfconsciously and as automatically
  132. 7:49as he forms his own breath end of
  133. 7:53dictation for this evening
  134. 7:55smile session 524 April 20 1979 18 p.m.
  135. 8:05Monday the peculiar particular aspects
  136. 8:10of your physical world are dependent
  137. 8:13upon your existence and focus within it
  138. 8:16the physical universe does not contain
  139. 8:20physical objects of solidity width and
  140. 8:23depth for example to those who existence
  141. 8:27is not within it other kinds of
  142. 8:30consciousness coexist within the same
  143. 8:33space that your world inhabits they do
  144. 8:38not perceive your physical objects for
  145. 8:41their reality is composed of a different
  146. 8:44camouflage structure you do not perceive
  147. 8:48them and generally speaking they do not
  148. 8:51perceive you this is a general statement
  149. 8:55however for various points of your
  150. 8:59realities can and do coincide so to
  151. 9:03speak these points are
  152. 9:06recognized as such but they are points
  153. 9:10of what you would call double reality
  154. 9:14containing great energy potential
  155. 9:17coordinate points indeed where realities
  156. 9:20merge there are main coordinate points
  157. 9:25peer mathematically sources of fantastic
  158. 9:29energy and subordinate coordinate points
  159. 9:33vast in number there are four absolute
  160. 9:39coordinate points that intersect all
  161. 9:41realities these coordinate points also
  162. 9:45act as channels through which energy
  163. 9:48flows and as warps or invisible paths
  164. 9:53from one reality to another they also
  165. 9:57act as transformers and provide much of
  166. 10:01the generating energy that makes
  167. 10:04creation continuous in your terms your
  168. 10:09space is filled with these sub ordinate
  169. 10:13points and as you will see later these
  170. 10:16are important in allowing you to
  171. 10:19transform thoughts and emotions into
  172. 10:22physical matter when a thought or
  173. 10:25emotion attains a certain intensity it
  174. 10:28automatically attracts the power of one
  175. 10:32of these subordinate points and is
  176. 10:35therefore highly charged and in one way
  177. 10:38magnified though not in size these
  178. 10:43points impinge upon what you call time
  179. 10:46as well as space there are certain
  180. 10:50points in time and space therefore again
  181. 10:54in your terms that are more conductive
  182. 10:58than others where both ideas and matters
  183. 11:01will be more highly charged practically
  184. 11:05speaking this means that buildings will
  185. 11:09last longer in your context that ideas
  186. 11:13wedded to form will be relatively
  187. 11:16eternal the pyramids for
  188. 11:19example are a case in point these
  189. 11:22coordinate points absolute main or
  190. 11:25subordinate represent accumulations or
  191. 11:29traces of pure energy my newt to an
  192. 11:33extreme if you are thinking in terms of
  193. 11:35size smaller than any particle of which
  194. 11:39your scientists know for example but
  195. 11:42composed of pure energy and yet this
  196. 11:45energy must be activated it is dormant
  197. 11:49until then and it cannot be activated
  198. 11:52physically a few clues here that might
  199. 11:57help you or mathematicians there is an
  200. 12:02ever so minut alteration of gravity
  201. 12:06forces in the neighborhood of all these
  202. 12:09points even of the subordinate ones and
  203. 12:13all the so-called physical laws to some
  204. 12:17extent or another will be found to have
  205. 12:20a wavering effect in these neighborhoods
  206. 12:24the subordinate points also serve in a
  207. 12:28way as supports as structural
  208. 12:32intensification x' within the unseen
  209. 12:36fabric of energy that forms all
  210. 12:39realities and manifestations while they
  211. 12:43are traces or accumulations of pure
  212. 12:46energy there is a great difference
  213. 12:48between the amount of energy available
  214. 12:50in the various subordinate points and
  215. 12:53between the main and the absolute points
  216. 12:56you may take your break these are points
  217. 13:04therefore of concentrated energy the
  218. 13:08subordinate points are far more common
  219. 13:11and practically as speaking affect your
  220. 13:14daily concerns there are better places
  221. 13:17and others to build houses or structures
  222. 13:22points where health and vitality are
  223. 13:26strengthened where other things being
  224. 13:29equal plants will
  225. 13:31grow and flourish and we're all
  226. 13:34beneficial conditions seem to meet some
  227. 13:38people can sense such neighborhoods
  228. 13:41instinctively
  229. 13:42they occur within certain angles made by
  230. 13:45coordinate points the points obviously
  231. 13:49are not themselves physical that is they
  232. 13:53are not visible though they may be
  233. 13:56mathematically deduced they are felt
  234. 14:00however as intensified energy in a given
  235. 14:05room plants will grow more effectively
  236. 14:09in a particular area than in other areas
  237. 14:12providing that both areas contain such
  238. 14:15necessary requirements as light all of
  239. 14:18your space is permeated by these
  240. 14:21coordination points so that certain
  241. 14:24invisible angles are formed this is
  242. 14:29highly simplified but some angles will
  243. 14:32be more on the outskirts than others and
  244. 14:37will be less favorable for all
  245. 14:39conditions of growth and activity in
  246. 14:42speaking of these angles we will treat
  247. 14:45them as three-dimensional though they
  248. 14:48are of course multi-dimensional since
  249. 14:51the nature of these angles is not the
  250. 14:53main topic of my book it is not possible
  251. 14:56to explain them thoroughly here they
  252. 15:00will seem to be stronger during certain
  253. 15:02times than other times though these
  254. 15:06differences have nothing to do with
  255. 15:09either the nature of coordinate points
  256. 15:12or with the nature of time other
  257. 15:15elements affect them but we need not be
  258. 15:18concerned with fees now the concentrated
  259. 15:23energy points are activated by emotional
  260. 15:26intensities that are well within your
  261. 15:29normal range your own emotions or
  262. 15:32feelings will activate these coordinates
  263. 15:36whether you know of them or not greater
  264. 15:40energy will therefore be added to the
  265. 15:42original thought or fee
  266. 15:44and it's projection into physical matter
  267. 15:48accelerated now this applies regardless
  268. 15:51of the nature of the feeling only its
  269. 15:55intensity is involved here these points
  270. 15:59are like invisible power plants in other
  271. 16:03words activated when any emotional
  272. 16:06feeling or thought of sufficient
  273. 16:08intensity comes into contact the points
  274. 16:11themselves intensify whatever activates
  275. 16:14them in a quite neutral manner we are
  276. 16:19rather slow with this material since it
  277. 16:22is new but mainly because I would like
  278. 16:25it translated into as precise terms as
  279. 16:29possible and without a scientific
  280. 16:32background on Rupert's part I must use
  281. 16:35ingenuity you may take a break this is
  282. 16:42highly simplified but the subjective
  283. 16:44experience of any consciousness is
  284. 16:47automatically expressed as
  285. 16:49electromagnetic energy units these exist
  286. 16:53beneath the range of physical matter
  287. 16:56they are if you prefer incident
  288. 17:00particles that have not yet emerged into
  289. 17:04matter these units are natural
  290. 17:06emanations from all kinds of
  291. 17:09consciousness they are the invisible
  292. 17:12formations resulting from reaction to
  293. 17:16any kind of stimuli they very seldom
  294. 17:19exists in isolation but unite under
  295. 17:23certain laws they change both their form
  296. 17:28and their pulsation their relative
  297. 17:31duration depends upon the original
  298. 17:34intensity behind them that is behind the
  299. 17:37original thought emotion stimuli or
  300. 17:41reaction that brought them into being
  301. 17:45again highly simplified here under
  302. 17:48certain conditions those coagulate into
  303. 17:51matter those electromagnetic units of
  304. 17:56high enough
  305. 17:58intensity automatically activate the
  306. 18:00subordinate coordinate points of which I
  307. 18:03have spoken they are therefore
  308. 18:06accelerating and propelled into matter
  309. 18:09far more quickly in your terms than
  310. 18:13units of lesser intensity molecules
  311. 18:17would appear as large as planets to
  312. 18:21these units atoms and molecules and
  313. 18:25planets and these electromagnetic energy
  314. 18:27units are simply different
  315. 18:30manifestations of the same principles
  316. 18:33that bring the units themselves into
  317. 18:36being it is only your relative position
  318. 18:39your focus within an apparent space and
  319. 18:43time that makes this seem so unlikely
  320. 18:47each thought or motion therefore exists
  321. 18:51as an electromagnetic energy unit or as
  322. 18:55a combination of these under certain
  323. 18:58conditions and often with the help of
  324. 19:02coordinate points they emerge into the
  325. 19:05building blocks of physical matter this
  326. 19:08emergence into matter occurs as a
  327. 19:11neutral result regardless of the nature
  328. 19:15of any given thought or motion mental
  329. 19:19images accompanied by strong emotion are
  330. 19:23blueprints therefore upon which a
  331. 19:26corresponding physical object or
  332. 19:29condition or event will in your terms
  333. 19:33appear end of dictation do you have any
  334. 19:37questions we are doing very well with
  335. 19:40our chapter 5 my heartiest regards and a
  336. 19:44fond good evening session 525 April 22
  337. 19:511979 14 p.m. Wednesday the intensity of
  338. 19:57a feeling or thought or mental image is
  339. 20:00therefore the important element in
  340. 20:03determining its subsequent physical
  341. 20:07materialization the intensity is the
  342. 20:10core
  343. 20:11about which the electromagnetic energy
  344. 20:13units form in your terms the more
  345. 20:17intense the core the sooner the physical
  346. 20:21materialization this would apply whether
  347. 20:24in the mental image was a fearful one or
  348. 20:27a joyful one now there is a very
  349. 20:30important problem here if your turn of
  350. 20:33mind is highly intense and you think in
  351. 20:37vivid mental emotional images these will
  352. 20:41be swiftly formed into physical events
  353. 20:44if you are also of a highly pessimistic
  354. 20:49nature given two thoughts and feelings
  355. 20:53of potential disaster then these
  356. 20:56thoughts will be quite faithfully
  357. 20:58reproduced in experience the more
  358. 21:03intense your imagination and inner
  359. 21:06experience therefore the more important
  360. 21:09it is that you realize the methods by
  361. 21:12which this inner experience becomes
  362. 21:15physically real your thoughts and
  363. 21:18emotions begin their journey into
  364. 21:21physical actualization at the moment of
  365. 21:25conception if you happen to live in an
  366. 21:28area where the coordinate environment is
  367. 21:31strong one of those areas have spoken of
  368. 21:34as usually conductive then it will seem
  369. 21:38that you are deluged by illnesses or
  370. 21:41disasters if these are the nature of
  371. 21:45your thoughts because all thought is so
  372. 21:48fertile in this environment if on the
  373. 21:52other hand your feelings and subjective
  374. 21:55experience are fairly well balanced
  375. 21:57fairly optimistic and creative in a
  376. 22:01constructive manner then it will seem to
  377. 22:04you that you have been blessed with
  378. 22:06unusual luck for your pleasant
  379. 22:10suppositions will come to pass so
  380. 22:13quickly briefly in your own country the
  381. 22:18West Coast portions of the East Coast
  382. 22:21Utah the Great Lakes
  383. 22:24the Chicago area Minneapolis area and
  384. 22:28some other southwestern areas are in
  385. 22:32those neighborhoods of excellent
  386. 22:34coordinate activity for the reasons
  387. 22:37given materialisation will quickly
  388. 22:41appear and potentials
  389. 22:43therefore for both constructive and
  390. 22:46destructive elements are high give us a
  391. 22:51moment these coordinate points
  392. 22:55themselves activate the behavior of
  393. 22:58atoms and molecules as say for example
  394. 23:03the Sun aids the growth of plants the
  395. 23:08coordinates activate the generating
  396. 23:10behaviour of atoms and molecules and
  397. 23:13greatly encourage their cooperative
  398. 23:16abilities their tendency to swarm so to
  399. 23:21speak into organizations and structural
  400. 23:25groupings the coordinate points magnify
  401. 23:30or intensify the behavior the latent
  402. 23:34spontaneity inherent within the
  403. 23:38properties of physical matter
  404. 23:41they act as psychic generators
  405. 23:45propelling what is not yet physical into
  406. 23:49physical form
  407. 23:51now you may take your break this is not
  408. 23:55to be a technical book so this is not
  409. 23:59the time nor place to discuss thoroughly
  410. 24:02the action behavior or effects of these
  411. 24:06coordinate points nor of the
  412. 24:10electromagnetic energy units those
  413. 24:13natural man CA shion's of consciousness
  414. 24:17with which I spoke I wanted known
  415. 24:20however that thoughts and emotions are
  416. 24:24formed into physical matter by very
  417. 24:26definite methods and through laws quite
  418. 24:30valid though they may be presently
  419. 24:34unknown
  420. 24:35in other portions of the Seth material
  421. 24:39these processes will be made very clear
  422. 24:42for those of you who desire to pursue
  423. 24:45the question further or those who may be
  424. 24:49interested from a scientific point of
  425. 24:52view here we are discussing such issues
  426. 24:56only because they touch upon the
  427. 24:59multi-dimensional aspect of personality
  428. 25:02they allow you to materialize certain
  429. 25:05subjective experiences into
  430. 25:08three-dimensional reality before I leave
  431. 25:11the subject however let me remind you
  432. 25:15that these immense ations in varying
  433. 25:18degrees rise from all consciousness not
  434. 25:23simply around this includes cellular
  435. 25:26consciousness as well so that an
  436. 25:29invisible network of electromagnetic
  437. 25:32units pervades your entire atmosphere
  438. 25:35and upon this WebWork and from it the
  439. 25:40particles of physical matter are then
  440. 25:42formed a whole book could easily be
  441. 25:47written upon this subject information
  442. 25:50regarding the locations of main and
  443. 25:54absolute coordinate points could be
  444. 25:57highly advantageous for example you
  445. 26:00pride yourself on your technology and
  446. 26:03the production of durable goods
  447. 26:06buildings and roads yet many of these
  448. 26:09are insignificant when compared to other
  449. 26:13structures within the past a true
  450. 26:18understanding of the wind which an idea
  451. 26:21becomes physical matter would result in
  452. 26:24a complete revamping of your so-called
  453. 26:27modern technology and in buildings roads
  454. 26:32and other structures that would far
  455. 26:34outlast those you now have while the
  456. 26:39psychic reality behind physical matter
  457. 26:42is ignored then you cannot use those
  458. 26:46methods effectively
  459. 26:48do exist nor can you take advantage of
  460. 26:51them you cannot understand the psychic
  461. 26:55reality that is the true impetus of your
  462. 26:59physical existence unless you first
  463. 27:03realize your own psychic reality and
  464. 27:06independence from physical laws my first
  465. 27:11purpose therefore is to make you aware
  466. 27:14of the inner identity of which you are
  467. 27:17part and to clear away some of the
  468. 27:21intellectual and superstitious Tabriz
  469. 27:25that prevents you from recognizing your
  470. 27:28own potentialities and freedom then
  471. 27:32perhaps you can begin to learn the many
  472. 27:34ways in which that freedom can be used
  473. 27:38that is the end of dictation it may well
  474. 27:42be the end of chapter 5 peace light and
  475. 27:46love alone
  476. 27:47[Music]
