Full transcript
- 0:00Can you raise your hand or chat sa box
- 0:02natin if you're familiar with PE?
- 0:06How about sa mga first time na
- 0:08malalaman, first time magte-take ng PPE?
- 0:12Meron po ba? Can you chat or can you
- 0:13rais your hand if meron po sa inyo? All
- 0:17right. So I think most of you if not all
- 0:18of you are first timers as I can see.
- 0:22Okay. Pero for sure meron ding iba sa
- 0:24atin na medyo may idea na. So just uh
- 0:27some refresher. Um so ang PPE or Pieron
- 0:30test of English, particularly PTE
- 0:33academic is it's an English test or an
- 0:36English proficiency exam uh which is
- 0:39globally recognized. So kinikilala po
- 0:40ito sa buong mundo. Ah one thing unique
- 0:43about it is it's computer based. So
- 0:45meaning pag nag-exam kayo sa actual na
- 0:48ah you will take the exam using a
- 0:49computer. So wala po siyang paperbased.
- 0:52Hindi po siya paperbased exam. Um, and
- 0:56you have to go to a testing center para
- 0:58i-take yung exam since naka-set up na
- 1:00doon yung computer kung saan kayo
- 1:02magte-test or magte-take ng exam. Um,
- 1:06and the scoring system dahil computer
- 1:08base ito, the scoring system is combined
- 1:11it's a combination of AI scoring and
- 1:14human scoring. So, may mga part na exam
- 1:16ng exam na AI ang nagche-check. May mga
- 1:18parts naman na kailangan ng human
- 1:20intervention para ma-make sure na ah
- 1:22tama at fair ang scoring. Ah sa PPE ang
- 1:26scoring system or ang scoring po natin
- 1:27ay from 10 to 90. So there is no zero uh
- 1:32to 9. 10 is the lowest score and the
- 1:35highest is 90. So there's no 91 to 100.
- 1:38Ah it's because based on studies ang
- 1:41tinitingnan kasi sa score niyo ay yung
- 1:42skill ninyo, no? Ang ang tinitingnan
- 1:46base sa binibigay sa inyo na na score ay
- 1:49kung anong level ng skill meron kayo. So
- 1:53based on studies, yung mga nags-score
- 1:55between 0 and 9 or 10 wala na masyadong
- 2:00difference pagdating sa skill level
- 2:01nila. So that's why uh we don't give
- 2:05nine or to zero scores already kasi
- 2:07regardless yung 10 hanggang zero same
- 2:10level of skill lang ang meron sila. Wala
- 2:12na masyadong pinagkaibahan.
- 2:14Um and then ah ganun din naman on the
- 2:17other end no yung mga magsa-score ng 91
- 2:19and above to 100. So the same level din
- 2:21sila ng skill kaya hanggang 90 lang yung
- 2:23binibigay na maximum score. So aside
- 2:26from the overall score, meron din pong
- 2:29apat na communicative skills for. So
- 2:31these are listening, reading, speaking,
- 2:33and writing. So meaning may spore din po
- 2:35kayo sa bawat skill na yan aside from
- 2:37the overall score. So some of you may
- 2:39iba po sa inyo na ang requirement
- 2:42overall score lang ' ba. May iba naman
- 2:44po sa inyo na aside from the overall
- 2:47score meron din kayong requirement sa
- 2:50skills score. Tama po ba? Can you give
- 2:52me a thumbs up if that's correct? If
- 2:53you're aware of your PPE score
- 2:56requirement for your application.
- 2:59Tama po ba? Ayun, may nag-thumbs up. How
- 3:03about the others? By the way, make sure
- 3:04that the name you're using here in your
- 3:06in the Zoom is your real and full name,
- 3:09ha? Kasi I have to check your
- 3:10attendance. So if you're not using your
- 3:12real and full name, baka hindi ko
- 3:14ma-identify na kayo pala yung nandito sa
- 3:17ano no sa Zoom. Tsaka bala niyo baka may
- 3:20kapangalan
- 3:21kayo. So make sure that you are using
- 3:23your real and full name dito sa Zoom for
- 3:26attendance purposes. Yun. So going back
- 3:28to what I'm saying, for example,
- 3:29nabigyan ko na lang kayo ng example.
- 3:30Sino dito ang um mag-pitate ng PPE
- 3:34because you are applying or you are
- 3:38planning to become a daily farmer. New
- 3:41Zealand meron ba? Okay. Si sir ah meron
- 3:44meron. Ayan meron. Okay. So for example
- 3:46para sa inyo na mga kailangan mag-daily
- 3:47farmer or gustong maging daily farmer sa
- 3:49New Zealand, ang requirement niyo lang
- 3:51ay overall score ' ba. Wala naman siyang
- 3:53requirement for the ah skills for level
- 3:57two na kung ang ite-take niyo na course
- 3:59ay level two. Pero kung level five na a
- 4:02diploma in agriculture para sa mga
- 4:04magsu-student visa dito yun meron siyang
- 4:07requirement na skills score. So again sa
- 4:09level 2 na dairy farming 29 na overall
- 4:12score lang ang kailangan. Pero kung
- 4:13magte-take kayo ng level 5 na diploma
- 4:15course, uh you need 50 I believe no na
- 4:19overall score. And then kailangan
- 4:21pagdating sa listening, reading,
- 4:22speaking and writing wala kayong below
- 4:2442 no na score. So again ah ang point ko
- 4:28dito nag-iiba-iba yung score na required
- 4:31sa inyo depende kung ano yung
- 4:34application ninyo. Student visa ba 'yan?
- 4:36Work visa ba 'yan? And kung student visa
- 4:39man 'yan, anong course, anong school
- 4:41kayo nag-a-apply? Right? So ganun din
- 4:44para sa mga magma-masters, iba din naman
- 4:46'yung score ninyo na kailangan. Ah, para
- 4:49sa mga magba-bachelors, iba din. Para sa
- 4:52mag-o-Australia, iba din. Para sa mga
- 4:55for work visa, iba din naman. So yun
- 4:57yung point ko diyan. Ah so you have to
- 4:59know ano yung score na kailangan niyo
- 5:01specifically for your application. Um
- 5:04yun no. So that's how it is. And ang
- 5:07kagandahan sa PTE for the scoring, it's
- 5:09integrated. Pag sinabi kong integrated
- 5:12yung bawat scores or may mga questions
- 5:15na more than two skills ang affected sa
- 5:19scoring. For example, ah may isang
- 5:22question type na meron siyang effect sa
- 5:23speaking score niyo but at the same time
- 5:25may effect din siya sa listening or sa
- 5:27writing. So ganon. Uh bakit siya
- 5:29maganda? Kasi ah ang ang advantage don'
- 5:33kapag medyo mababa ang score nyo sa
- 5:36isang question type, pwede niyo pa
- 5:38siyang mahatak pataas kapag hinalingan
- 5:40niyo sa ibang question type, right? So
- 5:43ganun ang kagandahan ng integrated 'yung
- 5:45scoring. Ang downside lang niya compared
- 5:48to for example IS ' ba sa IELTS pag
- 5:51bumagsak ka sa listening pwede mong
- 5:53i-retake yung listening lang ' ba. sa
- 5:55PTE hindi pwede. Pag magre-retake ka,
- 5:57kailangan mong i-retake lahat. Hindi
- 5:59pwedeng isang part lang. Okay? Kasi nga
- 6:02integrated ang scoring. Yun. So I hope
- 6:05you're following so far. Nakakasunod pa
- 6:07naman ba kung ano ang PPE? Paano ang
- 6:10scoring ng PPE? Can you give me a thumbs
- 6:12up if yes or chat shout on the chat box?
- 6:16Yes, if you're still following.
- 6:20Can I see some chat on the chat box if
- 6:22you're following?
- 6:24Okay, sige. So, thank you for the
- 6:26confirmation. Now, um going back and
- 6:30moving forward. So, yung TTE ay two 2
- 6:35hour around 2 hour. exam ito
- 6:39uh and you will be encountering 22
- 6:42question types
- 6:4422 na uri ng questions ang mai-encounter
- 6:48niyo and within that 22 question types
- 6:51merong around 65 to 75 items or
- 6:54questions.
- 6:56Okay? So ngayon um bawat questions na
- 7:00mae-encounter niyo iba-iba yung scoring
- 7:03per question. Iba-iba 'yung scoring per
- 7:04question type. Iba-iba 'yung paraan kung
- 7:07paano siya binibigyan ng spore. Ah may
- 7:09mga criteria 'yan no? Bawat question
- 7:11type. Ngayon may ibang mga question type
- 7:13na ang ang scoring niya based on whether
- 7:17it is correct or incorrect. So ibig
- 7:19sabihin pag tama ang sagot mo, you get
- 7:21the point. Pag mali ang sagot mo, you
- 7:24get a deduction, no? Or you get no point
- 7:26or a deduction. So yun no may mga ganong
- 7:28question types. Meron din namang ibang
- 7:30question types na partial ang scoring.
- 7:32So meaning nakabase sa quality nung
- 7:35sagot mo yung score mo. Okay? So yun ang
- 7:39pag-aaralan din natin dito sa review
- 7:41natin or sa preparation natin. Ituturo
- 7:44ko din sa inyo ano ang scoring. Paano
- 7:47ang scoring per question type para alam
- 7:49niyo kung saan nanggagaling yung score
- 7:51niyo. Alam niyo kung ano yung kailangan
- 7:53niyong gawin para makuha ang maximum
- 7:55score. At alam niyo din kung ano ang
- 7:57dapat hindi gawin para maiwasan ang
- 8:01deduction or ang kabawasan sa score
- 8:04ninyo. Naintindihan po? So I hope
- 8:07nakakasunod pa tayo. Now, ito ang
- 8:09magiging itsura ng result no? Kapag
- 8:12nag-exam na kayo at may may result na.
- 8:15So yan po ang official results. Makikita
- 8:17niyo diyan may overall score, merong
- 8:19score per skill. No, yan yung apat na
- 8:21communicative skills. Listening,
- 8:23reading, speaking and writing. Okay.
- 8:26Ngayon, ang isang misconception or anong
- 8:29ibig sabihin ng misconception?
- 8:31Maling akala 'di ba? Maling akala,
- 8:33maling pag-unawa. Ang isang maling akala
- 8:35pagdating sa scoring sa PTE ay
- 8:38pantay-pantay no ang pagkakahati-hati ng
- 8:41score per skill. So ' ba dahil for for
- 8:44apat yung skills ala nila 25 25%. Kaya
- 8:48'yung iba mag magataka
- 8:50sila, "Sir, bakit ganito? Hindi naman
- 8:52tama 'yung average ng score ko. Bakit
- 8:55hindi ano hindi average 'yung score ko?"
- 8:58So dahil po hindi siya ano nga
- 9:00pantay-pantay ang ang
- 9:02kumbaga weight no ng scores ninyo per
- 9:05question type and per skin. So ang
- 9:06tamang representation yung nakikita niyo
- 9:08ngayon sa screen that's a wrong
- 9:10representation of the PTE scoring. Ang
- 9:13tama is like this no? So bawat question
- 9:15types, ilan nga po ang question types if
- 9:17you are listening earlier? Ilan ang
- 9:19question types sa PPE? Can you chat sa
- 9:21chat box
- 9:23if you're listening? Naku, ilan ang
- 9:26question types?
- 9:29Skills. Ah I mean question types not
- 9:30skills ha. Question types. Okay. 22 '
- 9:34ba? 22.
- 9:36So
- 9:39ibig sabihin kung makikita niyo yung
- 9:40nasa screen ang reality hindi
- 9:43pantay-pantay. bawat question type yung
- 9:4522 na iyon magkakaiba ang percentage
- 9:49nila or magkakaiba ang laki nung epekto
- 9:52nila sa score ninyo, sa overall score,
- 9:56sa listening, sa reading, sa speaking at
- 9:57sa writing. So makikita niyo diyan mas
- 9:59malaki yung box, mas malaki yung
- 10:02question, mas malaki yung ambag niya sa
- 10:04score. Kung makikita niyo diyan for
- 10:06example dito sa overall score ninyo no
- 10:09anong anong question type ang may
- 10:10pinakamalaki kung ito yung kabuuan ng
- 10:13overall score ninyo. Anong question type
- 10:15ang nakalagay diyan na may pinakamalaki
- 10:18siya na part?
- 10:20'Di ba? Ito describe image na talaga '
- 10:22ba? Yun yung may pinakamalaking
- 10:24[nililinis ang lalamunan] box or part
- 10:26'di ba? So ganun siya. May mga question
- 10:28types na ganyan lang kaliliit yung ambag
- 10:30nila sa score niyo. May iba naman na
- 10:31sobrang importante. Malalaki yung effect
- 10:34niya sa score ninyo. So ganun siya no.
- 10:37Ah ibig sabihin nito kailangan alam niyo
- 10:39ano yung question types yung importante
- 10:43no alung question types yung malaki yung
- 10:45ambag sa score ko. Kasi syempre pag alam
- 10:47niyo yun alam niyo na din kung anong mga
- 10:49question types yung dapat i-prioritize
- 10:51niyo. Dapat mas bibigyan niyo sila ng
- 10:53oras, ng effort, no? Para i-practice at
- 10:56para masagutan ng mas maayos, mas
- 11:00maganda, mas perfect. 'Di ba? Kasi kung
- 11:03doon tayo mababa sa mga question types
- 11:05na mataas ang contribution sa score niyo
- 11:08eh syempre mababa talaga ang overall
- 11:11score na makukuha niyo 'di ba? So in
- 11:14terms of percentage, ayan po siya. Yan.
- 11:17So makikita natin diyan ito yung 22
- 11:19question types. Nakahati siya sa tatlong
- 11:22sections kasi yung exam tatlong sections
- 11:24din siya. The first section will be the
- 11:26speaking and writing. So pinag
- 11:29pinag-combine yung dalawang skills yung
- 11:31speaking and writing. So sa sa first
- 11:33section may dalawang skills and ilan to?
- 11:371 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9. May sham. May nine na
- 11:42um types at makikita niyo diyan per
- 11:45question type kung ilang percentage yung
- 11:48ambag niya sa overall store niyo at kung
- 11:51aling skill siya meron pang ambag. For
- 11:53example, 'di ba makikita natin ang
- 11:56pinakamalaking ambag may ambag sa
- 11:58speaking and writing sa overall score
- 12:00niyo ay 'yung describe image. 'Yan 'yung
- 12:02pinakaimportanteng question type sa
- 12:04lahat kasi 15% siya nung overall score
- 12:07niyo. Sobrang laki 'di ba? In fact, 'yan
- 12:10lang yung question type na double digit.
- 12:12The rest of the question types, ano na
- 12:14ang susunod sa kanya? 9% no? One digit
- 12:18na lang. So sobrang laking importance ng
- 12:20described image. And then you can see
- 12:22there aside from your overall score may
- 12:24epekto siya sa speaking score ninyo.
- 12:26Ayan nakalagay speaking 31% naman siya
- 12:28ng speaking. Pero makikita niyo may mga
- 12:30question types na more than one ang
- 12:32skill na na affected. For example you
- 12:35will repeat sentence 7% siya ng overall
- 12:38score. The same time sa listening 17%
- 12:41siya ng listening at 16% siya ng
- 12:44speaking score ninyo. So meaning kapag
- 12:46mababa ka sa repeat sentence ang
- 12:49maaapektuhan dalawa listening at
- 12:51speaking. 'Di ba? Kasi pag na-zero mo 'y
- 12:5417% na 'yan ibig sabihin mawawalan ka ng
- 12:5716% at 17% sa speaking at listening mo,
- 13:00'di ba? So ganun po kaimportante na alam
- 13:03niyo kung gaano kalaki yung epekto nung
- 13:05question type sa spore ninyo. Now moving
- 13:08forward ang pangalawang section ng exam
- 13:10ay reading. So sa reading meron pong
- 13:12lima na question types
- 13:15and then sa listening that's the third
- 13:17section meron pong walo na question
- 13:19types. So ang gagawin natin sa mga
- 13:21lectures natin, iisa-isahin natin yan. '
- 13:23ba nakita niyo naman yung schedule na
- 13:25sinend ko sa inyo. So iisa-isahin natin
- 13:27yung bawat question type. Idi-discuss ko
- 13:29sa inyo ano yung instructions, ano yung
- 13:30task, ano yung gagawin, what are the
- 13:33scoring system? Ah, and then ano yung
- 13:36mga tips, strategies and methods na
- 13:38pwede niyong i-apply para hopefully
- 13:41ma-perfect niyo, makuha niyo yung
- 13:42maximum score na nakalagay diyan. Or
- 13:45kung hindi man perfect, hindi man yung
- 13:4615% ng describe image, at least yung
- 13:48pinakamalapit na na-score diyan sa
- 13:50maximum score ba. And hopefully yun
- 13:53syempre mag coco-contribute para makuha
- 13:56niyo yung score na kailangan niyo for
- 13:58your application. Right.
- 14:01So, are you still following me? Can you
- 14:04type yes the sa box if you are still
- 14:06following me? Can I see some yeses in
- 14:09our chat box? All right. Sige nga. Just
- 14:13to check if you are following.
- 14:16Ah, can you type sa box ilang sections
- 14:19meron ang PPE exam or ang PPE? Ilang
- 14:23sections meron? Again, I'm not talking
- 14:26about the skills. I'm talking about the
- 14:28section.
- 14:30Okay? Medyo iba-iba. May nagsagot tatlo,
- 14:32may nagsagot apat. Again, the correct
- 14:34answer is 3. Ba the skills are four.
- 14:38Speaking, writing, reading, and
- 14:40listening. Yun yung apat. Pero sabi ko
- 14:41nga sa exam pinagsasama yung speaking
- 14:46and writing. So isang section lang sila.
- 14:48Tapos reading and listening. Yun yung
- 14:50pangalawa at pangatlong sections. So
- 14:52tatlong sections meron yung exam. No be
- 14:55mindful of that. Dapat alam niyo yun. Ah
- 14:58tapos ah kasi dapat alam niyo yung flow.
- 15:01So alam niyo dapat mauuna speaking and
- 15:02writing. Pagkatapos mo sa speaking and
- 15:04writing reading ang susunod na part ng
- 15:06exam. And then last na mangyayari,
- 15:07listening no? So dapat clear sa inyo
- 15:09'yun. Okay. Um
- 15:13ilang question types nga po meron sa sa
- 15:15first section yung speaking and writing
- 15:18and you type sa chat boxs. Ilang
- 15:21sections meron sa speaking and writing?
- 15:25First part ng exam. Ilang question types
- 15:28ang mae-encounter niyo doon?
- 15:32You type sa chat box.
- 15:35Okay. Correct. No 9 siam. Tama po 'yun.
- 15:38Sige. So mamaya magtatanong ako ulit. So
- 15:40make sure na kayo po ay nakikinig. Kung
- 15:42mayon po kayong notebook, papel, better
- 15:45po sana may notebook, may papel kayo at
- 15:47pen, paper, lapis sa tabi niyo para
- 15:50lahat ng sinasabi ko sinusulat ninyo.
- 15:53Okay? Mamaya po kapag nag-discuss tayo
- 15:55ng mga question types, mare-realize niyo
- 15:58may mga question types na dapat magaling
- 16:00kayong magsulat 'no? Mabilis at mabilis,
- 16:05magaling at kumpleto kayo mag-take ng
- 16:08notes na tinatawag natin or magsulat
- 16:10nung mga dini-discuss sa inyo, no? May
- 16:13mga ganong question types. So maganda sa
- 16:15lecture pa lang pina-practice niyo na
- 16:17lalo na kung hindi na po kayo masyado
- 16:18sanay magsulat using your hand. Ayun mga
- 16:21sanay na masyadong mag-type type na
- 16:23lang, mag-cellphone cellphone na lang,
- 16:24tablet tablet na lang. So baka hindi
- 16:26niyo na napa-practice ung yung
- 16:28handwriting ninyo. So please no during
- 16:30our lectures, get a pen, get a paper,
- 16:33i-notebook, pencil,
- 16:35magsulat po no, mag-take ng notes.
- 16:38Isulat niyo yung mga sinasabi ko sa
- 16:40lecture para napa-practice niyo na siya.
- 16:42Okay. Now, uh ang kagandahan din po no,
- 16:46with us sa DA Global, we are an official
- 16:48partner on PTA uh Philippines to be more
- 16:51specific. Ah so nakikita niyo diyan I
- 16:53attended the Asia PE partner summit no
- 16:57last December.
- 16:59Uh we are a one star partner no of PTE
- 17:01Philippines. So ibig sabihin din po
- 17:03niyan meron po kaming sariling portal no
- 17:05for booking ng mga exam.
- 17:09So meaning kapag mag-e-exam na kayo, pag
- 17:11natapos niyo na yung preparation course
- 17:12natin and you feel na confident na
- 17:15kayong mag-exam, so ibo-book ko po yung
- 17:17exam niyo using our portal. Okay? Doun
- 17:19na po yung dinadaan. Mahalaga din po na
- 17:22nasa portal namin kayo para syempre
- 17:24recorded kayo dun sa mga naging
- 17:26estudyante namin ' ba for record keeping
- 17:29purposes po. Ngayon pag-usapan natin.
- 17:32Halimbawa natapos na kayo sa
- 17:35preparation, ready na kayo mag-exam.
- 17:37na-book na natin 'yung exam. What
- 17:39happens next? Anong mangyayari? So pag
- 17:42na-book na kayo, ang importante lang
- 17:43diyan ha, meron kayong passport. Please,
- 17:46no? Dapat may passport kasi 'yun po ang
- 17:48hahanapin sa inyo on the day of the exam
- 17:50para mapayagan kayong mag-exam. Kasi nga
- 17:52ibu-book na natin siya sa portal. So sa
- 17:54portal ah may record na yung PTE, yung
- 17:58testing center kung saan man kayo
- 18:00mag-e-exam. May record na sila nung
- 18:01na-book natin na exam. Kailangan niyo na
- 18:04lang proof of identity pagdating niyo
- 18:06doun sa testing centers. Okay? So
- 18:09passport po ang kailangan for that.
- 18:11Hindi po kayo makakapag-exam without
- 18:12your passport, no? So kung wala pa
- 18:14kayong passport or kailangan i-update
- 18:16ang passport, please i-update niyo na or
- 18:18mag-apply na kayo ng passport. Ah ngayon
- 18:21ang tanong, saan sir yung mga testing
- 18:23center? So kung sa Pilipinas kayo
- 18:25mag-e-exam, meron po tayong apat na
- 18:28areas kung saan merong testing center sa
- 18:30Pilipinas. Sa Luzon po meron po sa
- 18:33Makati at meron sa Baguio City para sa
- 18:35mga nasa north. Sa Visayas isa lang po
- 18:38ang area natin nasa Cebu City and then
- 18:41sa Mindanao we also have one Davao City.
- 18:44So inside the Philippines there are four
- 18:46areas wherein nandon yyung mga testing
- 18:48centers. Ngayon kung nasa ibang bansa po
- 18:51kayo, OFW kayo ngayon ah meron din po
- 18:54naman no ah dahil nga po may sarili
- 18:55tayong portal. makikita natin doon.
- 18:57Mase-search ko para sa inyo kung ano
- 18:59yung pinakamalapit na testing center
- 19:01kung nasaang bansa man kayo ngayon. But
- 19:03rest assured uh meron pong testing
- 19:05center na malapit sa inyo. So kailangan
- 19:07niyo lang po akong salihan ba para
- 19:09ma-check natin kung saan. Okay? So once
- 19:12na na-book na natin yung exam, ito po
- 19:14ang mangyayari.
- 19:15You have to arrive sa testing center ng
- 19:1830 minutes. Siguro better kung 45
- 19:21minutes early para at least parang hindi
- 19:22naman kayo hinihingal pagdating niyo
- 19:25doon tapos diretso agad ba or halimbawa
- 19:27hindi kayo familiar sa place at least
- 19:29may extra time kayo para medyo hanapin
- 19:32ba kasi baka maligaw-ligaw kayo eh. So
- 19:34bigyan niyo na ng allowance no be 30 to
- 19:3645 minutes earlier than your scheduled
- 19:39time. For example 9 a.m. or 8 a.m. 'yung
- 19:42exam niyo dapat 30 to 45 minutes earlier
- 19:45nandun na kayo. So aside from para hindi
- 19:48kayo ma-late syempre meron po kasing
- 19:50biometrics no. 'Yun po yung unang
- 19:51mangyayari pagdating niyo doon you will
- 19:53undergo the biometrics. Tapos ah pag
- 19:56natapos kayo sa biometrics,
- 19:59niyo yung equipment na gagamitin niyo
- 20:00for your exam and then yun magsisimula
- 20:02na siya with personal introduction. So
- 20:04isa-isahin natin yan. So what will
- 20:05happen during the exam? So I would like
- 20:07you to listen to this video.
- 20:12Ah yes po. No so may question. Kayo din
- 20:14po ba ang magbo-book if ever nasa abroad
- 20:15na? Yes. I can book kahit nasa abroad na
- 20:18po kayo. Okay? Or kahit nasa abroad kayo
- 20:21mag-e-exam.
- 20:23Um, okay. So again, panoorin po natin
- 20:25yung video na 'to para makita niyo ano
- 20:27yung itsura pagdating niyo sa exam
- 20:29center. Ano yung mangyayari and so on.
- 20:32So ipe-play ko po muna tapos pasabihan
- 20:34po ako kapag may sound or kung walang
- 20:36sound.
- 20:39Narinig niyo po ba? May sound po ba
- 20:41kanina?
- 20:43Can you thumbs? Can you give me a thumbs
- 20:45up if merong sound kanina?
- 20:47Meron naman. Narinig naman. So let me
- 20:49know if wala ha. para I can fix it. Pero
- 20:53yeah, please watch this video para
- 20:55makita niyo, maintindihan niyo ano iyung
- 20:57mangyayari pagdating sa testing center.

- 26:10attention. டேக் கேர் அண்ட் கீப் ஷைனிங்
- 26:23ஆர்ட் சஹோ the video discussion.
- 26:27Um just to check the
- 26:31understanding of everyone from what was
- 26:33discussed in the video. Um what happens
- 26:37um before you enter the exam room
- 26:43yung chat sa ating chat box. Ito na lang
- 26:45para yes or no answer lang. Are you
- 26:47allowed to bring your bag, your phone,
- 26:50or anything that you you brought with
- 26:53you during the exam inside the exam
- 26:56rooms? Are you allowed to bring anything
- 26:58inside the exam room? So, tama no, hindi
- 27:02po pwede kung may dala kayong bag,
- 27:04phone. In fact, your phone will be asked
- 27:07to be turned off, right? Um, even
- 27:11ballpen, piece of paper, gum, candy,
- 27:14lahat po yan ipapaiwan po yan sa locker,
- 27:18no? You will be assigned a locker
- 27:19wherein you can uh leave all your
- 27:21belongings there. So, ich-check iyung
- 27:23mga bulsa niyo even your glasses. icha
- 27:30any other purpes pag simula ng exam no
- 27:35so yun po um so that you know na ganon
- 27:37ang mangyayari so now once you're done
- 27:40with the biometrics you will be checking
- 27:42the equipment again you will be assigned
- 27:44to a cubicle as shown kanina sa video
- 27:47and if you can remember a while ag
- 27:49marami siya ' ba may mga magkakatabi na
- 27:51cubicls so ganun din po sa inyo sa
- 27:53action exam May mga katabi po kayo
- 27:56during the exam. Of course, you will
- 27:58have a headset. 'Yung headset niyo may
- 28:00noise cancellation siya. But expect niyo
- 28:04na may mga kasama kayo. Posible lima
- 28:07kayo, 10, maybe even more than 10. Tapos
- 28:11magkakasabay-sabay kayo mag-exam. Now,
- 28:13your questions will be different from
- 28:15each other pero syempre same ang
- 28:17question types. So, sabay-sabay kayo
- 28:19magsasalita, sabay-sabay kayo sasagot.
- 28:21So, expecto na na medyo distracting
- 28:23siya. That's why diyan papasok 'yung
- 28:26kahalagahan ng preparation, kahalagahan
- 28:28ng practice na gagawin natin dito sa
- 28:31course natin. Dahil kung hindi po kayo
- 28:33prepared at kung hindi po kayo
- 28:35praktisado, ah very much easily na
- 28:39ma-autofocus,
- 28:40madi-distract kayo or ma um ma kumbaga
- 28:44mame-mental black kayo pagdating ng exam
- 28:47because of that. So marami pong
- 28:48destruction while you're taking the
- 28:50exam. So dapat before you take the exam,
- 28:52you're well prepared, you're well
- 28:54practiced. Ah pinaulit-ulit niyo na
- 28:56gawin yung mga question types to the
- 28:58point na kahit pa merong distraction,
- 29:00hindi kayo mame-mental block. Kaya
- 29:02niyong sagutan pa rin yung question.
- 29:04Kaya niyong tapusin yung exam. Okay? So
- 29:07that's why it's very it's a very wise
- 29:09decision. It's a very good decision na
- 29:10nag-enroll kayo sa program na ito. Now
- 29:13again ah once na nandun na kayo sa
- 29:16cubicle na naka-assign sa inyo,
- 29:18iche-check niyo yung equipment. So
- 29:19merong monitor, keyboard, mouse,
- 29:22basically the usual computer or personal
- 29:24computer na setup. And then again, meron
- 29:26kayong headset with a microphone.
- 29:30No, may noise cancellation siya. May
- 29:32microphone. Yan. So iche-check niyo 'yan
- 29:34lahat if it's working or if it's not
- 29:36working. So if mayroong any any issue
- 29:39with your keyboard, mouse, with your
- 29:42screen monitor or anything at all, lalo
- 29:43na yung headset niyo, please make sure
- 29:46to raise your hand and wait for the
- 29:47staff to to go to you and to assist you,
- 29:50no? Huwag kayong tatayo. Once you're
- 29:52inside the room, hindi na hindi pwedeng
- 29:54basta-basta tatayo at aalis ng room.
- 29:57Kung may problema, may concern, just
- 29:58wait for the staff to to go to to come
- 30:01to you and to assist you. Just raise her
- 30:02hand.
- 30:03Ah so again pagdating sa headset make
- 30:05sure niyo syempre na
- 30:07you are able to listen or to hear the
- 30:09the sound clearly and then iche-check
- 30:13din kasi kung nagre-record ng maayos
- 30:14yung microphone. So make sure that the
- 30:16quality of the recording is okay or
- 30:18good. It's clear. You can you can
- 30:20understand yourself. walang mga
- 30:22unnecessary noise or mga static no na
- 30:25meron sa recording. Bakit po? Kasi kapag
- 30:27pangit 'yung quality ng recording, may
- 30:29mga static, may mga background noise,
- 30:32pangit din po or mababa din po ang
- 30:33score, no? Makakaapekto siya sa score
- 30:36ninyo kung ganon. So yeah, no. So check
- 30:39it if merong problema. again, just raise
- 30:41your hand and make sure na um ma-assist
- 30:45kayo no before you take the exam, right?
- 30:48But most of the time wala namang
- 30:50nai-encounter ah yung mga students po na
- 30:53nag-exam na ah wala naman very rarely na
- 30:55may problema silang nai-encounter sa
- 30:57testing facility. So 'yun din kasi ung
- 30:59advantage ng PTE dahil nga nasa exam
- 31:01center siya. Talagang yung equipment na
- 31:03gagamitin mo it's very much uh conducive
- 31:07no and fit doun sa gagawin na exam. So
- 31:10more likely hindi kayo magkakaproblema.
- 31:12Kung may problema man again may
- 31:13maga-assist sa inyo 'di ba? Ah and then
- 31:16pag natapos ng ma-check lahat ng
- 31:18equipment everything's okay working
- 31:20lahat ng maayos. So then you will go to
- 31:22the personal introduction. But before we
- 31:25go there kasi sa personal introduction
- 31:26magsasalita na kayo eh. So you have to
- 31:28make sure na your microphone, your
- 31:31headset, you're wearing it correctly.
- 31:34Kasi minsan do din nanggagaling yung
- 31:37pangit na quality ng recording kasi
- 31:39hindi tama ang pagsuot sa sa headset,
- 31:43no? So, how do you wear your headset
- 31:45correctly? So, please watch this.
- 31:47Februar.
- 31:49>> It should be in front of your nose nor
- 31:52should be in front of your chin. It must
- 31:55be against your lower leg. There should
- 31:57be a gap of two fingers between your mic
- 32:00as well as lower lip. All the best.
- 32:03>> Okay. Sest to be reiterate. Huwag po
- 32:05masyadong mataas. Pag sinabi nating
- 32:07masyadong mataas, yung iba po kasi
- 32:09kapantay na nung ilong ng lower nose.
- 32:12Yung iba naman masyadong mababa.
- 32:14Papantay na ng chin na nandito na sa may
- 32:17baba. So make sure as mention kapantay
- 32:20siya ng lower lip ninyo. So nandito yung
- 32:22lower lip ko. Yan naka-parallel siya.
- 32:25And huwag po masyadong
- 32:27maano maayo. Hag masyadong malapit na
- 32:30nakadikit na siya sa bibig niyo. Make
- 32:33sure na again two two fingers away from
- 32:36your mouth nakatapat sa lower lip. Okay?
- 32:40So yung iba po kasi ah akala nila pag
- 32:43nakadikit sa bibig okay yun kasi mas
- 32:45rinig na rinig 'di ba? Kasi nakadikit na
- 32:47eh. Ang pangit po doon masasama po sa
- 32:50recording kahit yung mga unnecessary
- 32:52noise. For example, yung labas ng hangin
- 32:55sa bibig niyo ba yung sound na n-create
- 32:58when you're speaking and may laway. So
- 33:00ba may unnecessary sound yun. So yung
- 33:03mga background noise na ganon it will
- 33:04affect the score of your answer
- 33:06negatively. So againago pong ilalap sa
- 33:08bibig or you knowung sobrang lapit.
- 33:13Can you give me a thumbs up if you're
- 33:14still following me? Are you still here?
- 33:18Thumbs up naman if you're still
- 33:19following
- 33:55Right. So moving forward um yan ang next
- 33:58na nga po no kapag ah ano na nga um okay
- 34:02na no ah okay na yung equipment okay na
- 34:04yung pag um
- 34:06pag ano mo no pag pagsuot mo ng headset
- 34:08so personal introduction. Ano po ang
- 34:10mangyayari dito? Ah sa personal
- 34:12introduction po, basically this is an
- 34:13opportunity for you to get familiar with
- 34:16the technology, no? To to feel the uh
- 34:20the full setup of the exam para
- 34:22pagdating sa part na yun na talaga yung
- 34:24mga questions yung may scores na siya ah
- 34:27medyo sanay na kayo medyo nakapa niyo na
- 34:28kung paano yung mangyayari. So para
- 34:30siyang ano warm up no? Warm up itong
- 34:32personal introduction. So this means
- 34:34wala pa po itong effect sa score ninyo.
- 34:36Wala pa siyang scorring. However, it
- 34:38doesn't mean na hindi niyo na siya
- 34:39gagawin or na hindi niyo siya
- 34:41seseresuhin. Dapat pa rin po ah you will
- 34:43do your best here because again it's
- 34:46it's a practice na. It's a it's a warm
- 34:49up. Kapag sa practice pa lang hindi na
- 34:51kayo okay eh mas lalo kapag actual na
- 34:54'di ba? So make sure na gawin niyo pa
- 34:56rin siya ng maayos. So ano pong
- 34:59mangyayari dito sa personal
- 35:00introduction? You will be given 25
- 35:02seconds para basahin yung instructions
- 35:04and para mag-prepare nung sasabihin
- 35:06ninyo. But basically ang nakalagay lang
- 35:09naman do more likely is you have to
- 35:10introduce yourself. No you will have to
- 35:12say something about yourself. So
- 35:14sasabihin do ano yung mga kailangan
- 35:15niyong banganggitin. But of course it's
- 35:18definitely
- 35:20personal information about yourself. Um
- 35:22and then um
- 35:30wait lang po ha.
- 35:36Okay. So, and then ag um pagkatapos ng
- 35:4025 seconds na yon, um you will be given
- 35:4230 seconds para magsalita or ibigay yung
- 35:44introduction ninyo. So ngayon, ang
- 35:46kagandahan ng pag-enroll niyo sa program
- 35:48natin, tuturuan ko na kayo agad kung ano
- 35:50yung ah gagawin niyo, ano yung sasabihin
- 35:53natin, ano yung mga included sa
- 35:55introduction niyo. So at least ready na
- 35:57kayo before pang exam, 'di ba?
- 35:59Mapa-practice niyo na siya. So
- 36:01[nililinis ang lalamunan] o po, no. So
- 36:02una, ano bang kailangan niyong masabi sa
- 36:0430 seconds na ibibigay sa inyo? So dapat
- 36:08you you include a short and your full
- 36:11name. Next you say where are you from?
- 36:14So whether the city or the country, the
- 36:16province after that you can mention your
- 36:19current uh current study if you're
- 36:22studying or your current job if you're
- 36:24working. Uh tapos you can also mention
- 36:27why you are taking the PTE. So whether
- 36:30you're applying for student visa,
- 36:32applying for work, for other types of
- 36:34visas or for migration, then lastly just
- 36:36end it with the brief and a positive
- 36:40closing line. Right? Now, ano naman ang
- 36:44dapat gawin? So again, ito yung gagawin
- 36:45niyo. Ito yung sasabihin niyo, ito ang
- 36:47hindi niyo gagawin. Ah please avoid uh
- 36:52speaking too fast or too softly no?
- 36:54Huwag po masyadong mahina ang ating
- 36:56boses kasi kailangan clear, kailangan
- 36:59naiintindihan yung inyong sinasabi, no?
- 37:03Um, aside from that, don't share any
- 37:05other details na hindi naman kailangan.
- 37:07Remember 30 seconds lang ang meron kayo.
- 37:09So kung dadagdagan niyo pa siya ng mga
- 37:11details na hindi naman kailangan eh baka
- 37:12naman hindi niyo maisama lahat ng
- 37:15details na kailangan talaga 'di ba? So
- 37:18uh use don't use long words or long
- 37:22sentences baka mas maging confusing pa
- 37:24siya or or vague ah in in in case
- 37:28magkaman kayo don't say sorry no ah and
- 37:31don't restart or don't repeat kapag
- 37:35nagkamali kayo. Yun kasi ang tendency
- 37:36natin minsan mga Pilipino 'di ba when we
- 37:39pronounce a word incorrectly or when we
- 37:41say something incorrectly when we commit
- 37:44a mistake ang nangyayari we try to
- 37:47repeat it ' ba inuulit natin sine-self
- 37:49correct natin iyung sarili natin. So
- 37:50don't do that no kailangan po ah
- 37:53tuloy-tuloy lang kapag nagsalita kayo
- 37:55kahit na nagkamali.
- 37:57And here ito 'yung template or format na
- 38:02pwede niyong sundin when you do your
- 38:04personal introduction.
- 38:06No. So pwede niyo siyang i-screenshot,
- 38:08pwede niyo siyang ilista, i-take note.
- 38:11Again, first you begin with a detail. So
- 38:13you can say hello, good morning, hi,
- 38:16good day. So depende na lang do sa
- 38:18situation. So but hello is okay already
- 38:20no. Hello, my name is Je Bahar. So you
- 38:22mention your name then again you mention
- 38:24where are you from? I come from Las Bos
- 38:26Laguna or no sorry I come originally
- 38:28from Masbate, Bicol and I currently live
- 38:31in Las Laguna.
- 38:33Then again, you can mention whether
- 38:34you're studying or you're working or
- 38:36kung ano man yung ginagawa mo ngayon. So
- 38:37you can say, "I'm currently working as a
- 38:39PTE coach at BA Global Services." And
- 38:41then you can mention why are you taking
- 38:43the exam and end it with a positive
- 38:46note. So overall ganito yung pwede kong
- 38:49sagot no? In 30 seconds, kailangan
- 38:51masabi ko siya lahat. So let me time
- 38:53myself.
- 38:56Ah so in 3 2 1. Pag nag-start na yung
- 38:59recording, you have to start ba after 25
- 39:01seconds magsa-start yung recording.
- 39:03Makikita niyo naman siya sa screen. So
- 39:05pag nag-start yung recording, you have
- 39:06to start right away, no? Kailangan po
- 39:08makapagsimula agad kayo magsalita pag
- 39:10nag-start yung recording. Let's say
- 39:12nag-start na siya. 3 2 1. Hello, my name
- 39:15is Je Bahar. I come from um Bicol Region
- 39:20when I currently live in Lasos, Laguna.
- 39:23I'm currently working as a PTE coach at
- 39:26the D Global Services and I'm taking the
- 39:28PTE exam to study in New Zealand. I'm
- 39:31excited about taking this test and I
- 39:33hope to achieve the score that I need
- 39:35for my application.
- 39:38So ganun lang no? Ganun lang siya
- 39:39simple. Again,
- 39:41naka ano naman tayo 25 seconds. So pasok
- 39:44naman siya doun sa 30 seconds natin na
- 39:46time limit. So of course you don't need
- 39:48na sagarin ng 30 seconds ' ba. Um and
- 39:52again if magkamali if mag-stutter dapat
- 39:54tuloy-tuloy lang. Huwag niyo na siyang
- 39:55itigil. H'wag niyo na siyang ulitin.
- 39:57Huwag niyo na siyang correct pa no dito
- 40:00ah diretso ka na agad sa sunod mong
- 40:02sasabihan. Okay? So ganun lang po no?
- 40:05And then after you speak pag natapos ka
- 40:06ng magsalita, magsagot i-click mo lang
- 40:08yung next or yung submit button
- 40:10agad-agad. Okay. Dapat po sa lahat po ng
- 40:13gagawin niyo, sa lahat ng question types
- 40:15na magsasalita kayo, ganun po lagi ha.
- 40:17Pag nag-start yung recording, simula
- 40:19agad. Okay? Dapat after 1 second
- 40:22nakapagsalita agad kayo. Kasi kung hindi
- 40:24po 2 seconds, 3 seconds hindi pa rin
- 40:26kayo nagsasalita mazi-zero po kayo agad.
- 40:28No? Automatic yun. Magco-close ang
- 40:30recording, zero agad yung score niyo. So
- 40:32dapat again, pag nag-start yung
- 40:33recording, salita agad. After 1 second,
- 40:35salita. And then pag natapos kayong
- 40:38magsalita, natatapos kayong magsagot,
- 40:40iki-click niyo agad yung next or yung
- 40:41submit para mag-stop yung recording.
- 40:44Kasi pag hindi niyo po clinic yon,
- 40:47tuloy-tuloy pa rin po yung recording,
- 40:49no? Hanggang sa matapos yung oras. So
- 40:51meaning dahil hindi na kayo nagsasalita
- 40:53lahat ng background noise yun yung
- 40:55masasama sa recording. So again,
- 40:57makakaapekto po yung negatively sa score
- 41:00ninyo. So I hope na take note niyo yung
- 41:02very important na reminder na tip na
- 41:05yon. Okay. Now, ah pag natapos niyo
- 41:08itong personal introduction, so okay na
- 41:10siya. Ah papasok na tayo sa first
- 41:14section which is again the speaking and
- 41:16writing section of PKE. Sabi ko kanina
- 41:19may si na question types diyan at
- 41:21iisa-isahin natin yan. Today we will
- 41:23just discuss the first two. So ito po
- 41:25yung read allowed. Yan po yung
- 41:26pinakaunang question type na
- 41:27mai-encounter niyo at susundan po 'yan
- 41:30ng repeat sentence. Pero uunahin ko muna
- 41:32syempre 'yung pinakauna 'yung read
- 41:33allow. So just to emphasize yung read
- 41:36allowed 4% po yan ng overall score niyo.
- 41:39So medyo malaki-laki na din and 9% siya
- 41:42ng speaking. So isa lang ang naapektuhan
- 41:44niya yung speaking lang na skill and
- 41:46then of course overall score. Ah ngayon
- 41:50um i-discuss natin ano bang mangyayari
- 41:52sa need allowed. So very simple lang po
- 41:56pero simplihan ko na ang pag-explain.
- 41:58May ibibigay po sa inyo na paragraph.
- 42:01Kailangan niyo pong basahin 'yung
- 42:02paragraph na 'yon. From start to finish.
- 42:04Kailangan niyo siyang basahin ng may
- 42:06boses. Kaya siya read allowed kasi
- 42:08babasahin niyo siya ng may boses. Dapat
- 42:10malakas ang boses. Syempre hindi naman
- 42:12kailangan na isigo. Dapat malakas na
- 42:14naiintindihan. Clear ang pagkakabasa ng
- 42:18paragraph from start to finish. Okay?
- 42:21Dapat tuloy-tuloy lahat ng words nabasa
- 42:22ng tama at tuloy-tuloy no. So ang
- 42:27mangyayari pag nakita niyo 'yung
- 42:29paragraph mayon pong 40 seconds para
- 42:31mag-practice kayo. Okay? May 40 seconds
- 42:34para mag-practice. So within that 40
- 42:36seconds, pwede niyong basahin
- 42:37paulit-ulit para masanay kayo.
- 42:39Ma-practice niyo kung paano 'yung
- 42:40pagbabasahin. Pag natapos yung 40
- 42:42seconds, magsa-start yung recording.
- 42:44Tapos kailangan niyo ng basahin from
- 42:46start to finish yung paragraph. Isang
- 42:48beses lang po siya. Hindi po siya
- 42:50pwedeng ulitin. Hindi po siya pwedeng
- 42:52i-pause. Tuloy-tuloy po 'yun. Pag
- 42:54nag-start yung recording, 'yun na 'yon.
- 42:55Whatever you answered, whatever you did,
- 42:57'yun na po 'yun, 'no? And then again,
- 43:00'ag natapos ka magbasa, click next or
- 43:01click submit right away. Okay? So ngayon
- 43:05ang suggestion ko, please take note of
- 43:06this. 'Di ba may 40 seconds kayo para
- 43:10mag-practice, right? So ang suggestion
- 43:12ko ayan 'yan yung ano yan yung ah itsura
- 43:15niya sa actual exam. Ang suggestion ko
- 43:17sa 40 seconds na magpa-practice kayo,
- 43:21consume only the 35 seconds. Pag nakita
- 43:24niyo na 5 seconds na lang ang natitira
- 43:25sa time niyo, huwag na kayong
- 43:27mag-practice pa, no? I-stop niyo na yung
- 43:29pagpa-practice para naka-ready na lang
- 43:32kayo ah na mag-start yung recording at
- 43:35makapag-start kayo na ready kayo 'di ba?
- 43:37Kasi ang common mistake minsan hindi
- 43:40natatansya ng maayos nung examiner or
- 43:43nung estudyante na 'yung oras. So
- 43:46practice na practice pa rin siya. 'Yun
- 43:48hindi niya nakita nag-start na pala
- 43:49'yung recording minsan nabibigla siya.
- 43:51So ang nangyayari tuloy hindi siya
- 43:52prepared when when they start reading.
- 43:54So nagkakamali-mali. Pangalawa um
- 43:58kailangan din po na ano pag
- 43:59nagpa-practice kayo, i-practice niyo na
- 44:02siya na parang actual. 'Yung iba kasi sa
- 44:0440 seconds ng practice
- 44:06nagpa-practice sila pero tahimik lang
- 44:08walang boses. Minsan murmur lang.
- 44:11Ganun lang no. So hindi po yun tamang
- 44:14paraan ng pagpa-practice kasi ang
- 44:15purpose po ng practice yung magawa niyo
- 44:18yung actual. So kung hindi yung actual
- 44:20yung ginagawa niyo, mali yung practice
- 44:21na yon. Pangalawa, pag kasi po nagbabasa
- 44:24kayo nasa utak lang, hindi niyo
- 44:26maririnig 'yung sarili niyo. So paano
- 44:28niyo magagawa 'yung best niyo kung hindi
- 44:30niyo alam kung saang part niyo kailangan
- 44:32i-improve kapag nag-start na yung actual
- 44:34recording, 'di ba? So ang kagandahan
- 44:36kasi pagpractice pa lang tapos
- 44:37napapakinggan mo na ng parang actual
- 44:39yung sarili mo, nakikita mo sa isang mga
- 44:41words yung posible kang magkamali, sa
- 44:42isang mga words yung dapat medyo maingat
- 44:45ka sa pag pronounce 'di ba or sa
- 44:47pagbabasa. So ganun po ha. Uh and then
- 44:50'yun nga 'ag nakita niyo 5 seconds na
- 44:51lang mag-stop na sa practice and then
- 44:53you start reading once nag-start na
- 44:55'yung recording and then pag natapos
- 44:58magbasa, click next or submit agad. 40
- 45:01seconds din po ang ibibigay sa inyo para
- 45:03mabasa ang buong paragraph. But again,
- 45:05you don't need to consume all the 40
- 45:07seconds. Masyado na pong mabagal yun
- 45:09kapag natapos yung time at sakto lang or
- 45:13ah nasobrahan pa or kinulang pa kayo sa
- 45:15time. So ibig sabihin non, masyadong
- 45:17mabagal kayong magbasa. Okay. So para
- 45:20mas maging malinaw sa inyo kung paano
- 45:21siya ang mangyayari. Ayan nga. Yan yung
- 45:24nakikita niyo sa screen. Yan yung itsura
- 45:25niya. So makikita niyo 'di ba merong
- 45:26nakalagay current status tapos mayong
- 45:29beginning and 40 seconds. So 'yan 'yung
- 45:30countdown kung ilang seconds na lang
- 45:32para mag-practice kayo. Tapos ang
- 45:35mangyayari that will change to recording
- 45:37kapag mag-start na yung recording. Okay?
- 45:39So para mas ma-imagine niyo, let's watch
- 45:41this sample video.
- 45:48You don't have to spend a lot of time in
- 45:49the kitchen on weekends. Say nutrition
- 45:51experts and home chefs will promote
- 45:53smart looking habits. The trend which
- 45:55has taken off on social media and in
- 45:57lifestyle magazines this year encourages
- 45:59simple meal prep, batch cooking, and the
- 46:02use of time saving appliances to reduce
- 46:04stress. You don't have to spend a lot of
- 46:06time in the kitchen on weekends, say
- 46:08nutrition experts and home chefs to
- 46:11promote smart cooking habits. The trend
- 46:13which has taken off on social media.
- 46:16Okay. So kung mapapansin niyo ba ah
- 46:20paulit-ulit ko lang siyang binabasa and
- 46:22may boses ' ba. Malakas ang boses.
- 46:25Naiintindihan siya. So tapos hanggang
- 46:28meron pa akong time so paulit-ulit ko
- 46:30lang siya binabasa para ready ako at
- 46:33napa-practice ko pag nag-start na yung
- 46:36or bago mag-start yung recording. Okay.
- 46:39And then
- 46:41lifestyle since here
- 46:45stop. You don't have to spend a lot of
- 46:47time in the kitchen on weekends, say
- 46:48nutrition experts and home chefs who
- 46:51promote smart cooking habits. The trend
- 46:53which has taken off on social media and
- 46:55lifestyle magazines this year encourages
- 46:57simple meal prep, batch cooking, and the
- 47:00use of time saving appliances to reduce
- 47:02stress.
- 47:04Okay. And then I click next right away.
- 47:08Right? So gan lang. That's how it is. I
- 47:10hope mas na-imagine niyo, mas nakita
- 47:13niyo kung paano siya gawin.
- 47:15So, um, are we still here? Nandito pa po
- 47:19ba? Can you type here H e R if you're
- 47:23still here in our discussion?
- 47:27Pa
- 47:29nakuha naman so far ang instructions or
- 47:32yung step by step
- 47:35sa read allow. I hope you do to.
- 47:40Sana nalista niyo siya, na-take notes
- 47:41niyo siya. So now, ang next na
- 47:43idi-discuss natin is the scoring. So how
- 47:47will I be scored sa Allow? Saan
- 47:49mangagaling yung score ko? Ah and ano
- 47:53yung mga bagay na pwedeng makapag cause
- 47:57ng deduction or ng mababang score? So
- 47:59lahat yan masasagot. Ah pati kapag paano
- 48:02ka pag bulol or kapag nagkamalian sa
- 48:04pagbabasa. Lahat 'yan masasagot dito sa
- 48:05scoring na discussion. So sa scoring,
- 48:08tatlong bagay lang ang factors na
- 48:11tinitingnan para mabigyan kayo ng score.
- 48:13So itong tatlo lang na to ang importante
- 48:16na kailangan niyong tingnan para ma-make
- 48:19sure niyo na mataas ang score niyo. So
- 48:21una diyan yung content. Again letter C
- 48:24content. Pangalawa yung ah fluency or
- 48:29yung uh yeah oral fluency na tinatawag
- 48:32ha. Fluency. At pangatlo yung
- 48:35pronunciation. So tatlo lang no?
- 48:37Content, fluency or oral fluency and
- 48:40pronunciation.
- 48:42So ano ba 'yan? Isa-isahin natin. Una
- 48:43yung content. Ang ibig sabihin lang
- 48:45diyan, nabasa niyo ba lahat ng words
- 48:48from start to finish? Tama ba 'yung
- 48:51order ng pagkakabasa niyo ng words?
- 48:53Lahat ba ng words nabasa niyo? Wala ba
- 48:56kayong napagkapalit? Wala ba kayong
- 48:58na-interchange, napalitan, nalaktawan,
- 49:02ah
- 49:04and other things no? So pag wala, you
- 49:07will get the the perfect score. Pero
- 49:10syempre mas maraming words ang nagkamali
- 49:12kayo, hindi niyo nabasa, kulang ang
- 49:14pagkabasa niyo, mali ang pagkabasa niyo.
- 49:18Um, may mga words na dinagdag kayo,
- 49:20in-insert na wala naman doun sa
- 49:22paragraph. So, the more of that, the
- 49:24lesser score you will get. So, makikita
- 49:26niyo sa screen, ayan nakalagay diyan
- 49:28partial credit or partial scoring
- 49:30pagdating sa content. So sa content, ang
- 49:33pinakamataas na score na pwede niyong
- 49:34makuha per item, if you can see there,
- 49:37it's how much or how many? How many or
- 49:41how high is the score for content? Ano
- 49:43yung maximum? Five ba? So that's highly
- 49:46proficient. Sabi diyan paano makukuha
- 49:49yung five?
- 49:51Maximum score daw is ah each
- 49:54replacement, menion or insertion counts
- 49:57as an error. Ayan. So ibig sabihin again
- 49:59dapat walang replacement, walang
- 50:01omission, walang insertion. Dapat mabasa
- 50:04lahat ng words word by word ang tama at
- 50:07kumpleto.
- 50:09So yun nazero ang pinakamababa kapag
- 50:11let's say sabihin natin wala ka talagang
- 50:13nabasa ng tama.
- 50:16So now ang next is oral fluency. So sa
- 50:19oral fluency anong ibig sabihin niyan?
- 50:21Ang ibig sabihin niyan yan po yung
- 50:23smooth flow. No smooth flow.
- 50:28Uh nung pagbabasa ninyo. So meaning pag
- 50:31nagbasa ba kayo from start to finish or
- 50:33pag nagsalita kayo tuloy-tuloy ba siya?
- 50:36Wala bang unnecessary poses? Hindi ba
- 50:38kayo nag-alangan? Hindi ba kayo
- 50:40nag-stutter, nag-buckle?
- 50:42Um and pangalawang part is yung pacing.
- 50:45Aside sa flow na dapat tuloy-tuloy,
- 50:48yung bilis ba ng pagsasalita niyo ay reg
- 50:51ay constant? Meaning, same lang ba ang
- 50:53bilis from start to finish?
- 50:56No, kasi pag yes then yun ang kailangan.
- 50:58Dapat constant lang, tuloy-tuloy siya,
- 51:02constant ang
- 51:04ayaw niyong mangyari diyan yung
- 51:06paiba-iba no? Bibilis, babagal, bibilis,
- 51:08babagal. Kasi it can it can be
- 51:11interpreted as if hindi kayo sure kapag
- 51:13medyo bumagal kayo sa pagsasalita. So
- 51:16dapat steady steady constant constant
- 51:18ang speed or ang bilis ng pagbabasa.
- 51:21Okay? Ah so makikita niyo ang scoring
- 51:24din for oral fluency is five din. Five
- 51:27din ang highest and nakalagay diyan five
- 51:29ang ibibigay sa inyo if your speech
- 51:31shows smooth riven and phrasing. Again
- 51:34smooth meaning tuloy-tuloy na hindi siya
- 51:36awkward pakinggan. Hindi siya parang
- 51:38barok or parang tawag nito 'yung parang
- 51:41putol-putol nga no or parang
- 51:42pahinto-hinto.
- 51:44Ah again walang hesitation. Hindi ka
- 51:46nag-aalangan. walang repetition pag
- 51:48nagkamali ka hindi mo inulit yung word
- 51:50at hindi din dapat magkaroon ng false
- 51:52start or even phonological
- 51:55simplifications. Ano ibig sabihin niyan
- 51:56yung shino-shortcut mo yung yung
- 51:59pronunciation
- 52:00'di ba na to the point na hindi natuloy
- 52:02maintindihan kung ano yung sinasabi mo
- 52:05'di ba? So yun ah you will get five
- 52:08points if you will avoid those and then
- 52:11again nakalagay na diyan yung 431 so
- 52:13depende na lang sa quality nung response
- 52:15mo. And then lastly of course
- 52:17pronunciation very much
- 52:19self-explanatory.
- 52:20So yun yung correct sounding ng vowels,
- 52:22consonants ah nung mga tawag nito ah
- 52:27syllables 'di ba? Word. So yung tamang
- 52:29pagbanggit, pagsalita ng mga words,
- 52:32phrases and sentences and even vowels
- 52:34and consonants. Okay?
- 52:38Dapat intelligible. Pag sinabi nating
- 52:40intelligible, naiintindihan ka ng kausap
- 52:43mo nung nakikinig sa'yo. 'Yun 'yung
- 52:45kilangan. Okay? So that's it. So yun
- 52:48lang. Tatlo lang na 'yun ang titingnan
- 52:50niyo for your scoring. So now, ang
- 52:53tanong ko if you're really listening to
- 52:55me or understanding what I'm saying
- 52:57dahil nga tatlo ' ba ano nga po ulit
- 52:59yung tatlo na yon yung tatlong factors
- 53:01for the scoring. Can you chat sa chat
- 53:03box? What are the three factors
- 53:06for the scoring of read allow?
- 53:10What are those?
- 53:15Chat po.
- 53:23Okay. Content, fluency and
- 53:25pronunciation. That's correct.
- 53:27Um and then um
- 53:32based on that no sa tatlo na yan, here's
- 53:35my question. Tingin niyo ba if you have
- 53:38an accent, let's say a British accent or
- 53:40an American accent, do you think that
- 53:43will improve or give you more points?
- 53:47And then the same way if let's say
- 53:49you're a Bisaya or you're a Tagalog a
- 53:51Filipino, if you use your Filipino
- 53:53accent will that cost you a deduction.
- 53:57What do you think? Anong tingin natin
- 53:58based on the scoring system?
- 54:02So yes, it will give you deduction or
- 54:05no, it will not give you deduction.
- 54:10Okay. How about the others? Konti pa
- 54:11lang ang nagsasagot. I hope we can be
- 54:13more interactive. I hope we can be more
- 54:15engaging para hindi tayo inaantok and
- 54:17our mind will
- 54:19uh remain active. Medyo mahaba-haba kasi
- 54:22usapan natin. Okay. Some are saying no,
- 54:24some are saying yes. So the answer is
- 54:27no. No. Okay. Kasi nga ' ba tatlo lang.
- 54:30Content lang. Content, pronunciation,
- 54:31fluency. So wala namang nakalagay doon
- 54:33na sent no? Wala naman kasing tama at
- 54:37maling accent because accent is a
- 54:38cultural thing. Wala namang mali at tama
- 54:42na na accent or culture, right? So um
- 54:46however no, you have to to um
- 54:52distinguish. Kailangan niyong malaman
- 54:54yung pinagkaiba ng correct
- 54:56pronunciation, clear and intelligible
- 54:59pronunciation. Naiintindihan na
- 55:01pagsasalita
- 55:03dun sa absent. No? So magkaiba kasi
- 55:06'yung dalawang 'yon. Ah hindi sa lahat
- 55:08ng oras dahil may British accent ka or
- 55:12meron kang American accent ay
- 55:15naiintindihan ka na ano or madali ka ng
- 55:16naintindihan. Hindi din naman sa lahat
- 55:18ng orders na dahil may Filipino accent
- 55:20ka ay hindi na tama ang pronunciation
- 55:23mo, right? Pero aminin natin may mga
- 55:26pagkakataon talaga din na kapag
- 55:28ginagamit natin yung absent natin bilang
- 55:30let's say Filipino, Tagalog, Bisaya,
- 55:32iligay non or kung ano mang language
- 55:34natin, minsan talaga may mga nakasanayan
- 55:38tayong maling pronunciation ng vowels
- 55:40and consonants, right? So yun lang. Ang
- 55:44kailangan lang clear natin dapat tama
- 55:47lang ang pronunciation. So but hindi
- 55:49kailangan ng accent or hindi
- 55:51nakakaapekto positively or negatively
- 55:53'yung accent. Ang mahalaga kahit may
- 55:56accent ka clear at tama pa rin ang
- 55:59pronunciation mo ng mga vowels, ng
- 56:02consonants, ng syllables and mga words
- 56:06doon sa sentence. Okay? Nakuha po natin.
- 56:10Na-clarify naman po yon.
- 56:12Can you give me a thumbs up if yes? Did
- 56:15I make myself clear about that?
- 56:20How about the others? Is confirm if we
- 56:23can move on to the next part. If you
- 56:26have questions, make sure to shot them
- 56:28or raise them.
- 56:31Okay? So kung wala naman na at clear
- 56:33naman lahat so far, now I go to the tips
- 56:36and strategies para ma-maximize niyo
- 56:38yung scores niyo for readoud. So the
- 56:41first is about again the consonants and
- 56:42the vowels kasi nga pronunciation it's
- 56:44very important. So ah ano nga po ang
- 56:47difference ng vowels and consonants sa
- 56:49English alphabet? Para mas madali ano na
- 56:51lang ang vowels kasi mas konti yun. What
- 56:54are the vowels in the English alphabet?
- 56:57Okay. A E I O. Correct. No, the rest of
- 57:00the al of the letters are um consonants,
- 57:03right? So ito ang first step, be mindful
- 57:06and be careful in uh pronouncing your
- 57:10consonants. Lalo na kapag consonant
- 57:12clusters. Yan, pag sinabi nating
- 57:13consonant clusters, these are consonants
- 57:15na sa spelling ng word magkadikit sila.
- 57:18For example, yung th sa faith
- 57:22th sa or right? Ano ang madalas na
- 57:26mistake natin diyan? Pag may magkatabi
- 57:28ng consonants, minsan nakakalimutan
- 57:31natin or nase-skip natin na i-pronounce
- 57:34yung consonants na yon. Yung dalawang
- 57:36consonants. Minsan isa lang ang
- 57:38napo-pronounce natin. Now, to be clear,
- 57:41meron naman talagang mga letter sa
- 57:43English alphabet. 'Di ba? May mga
- 57:45letters naman minsan talaga na tinatawag
- 57:47na nilang silent, right? Nandun yung
- 57:49letter pero hindi mo siya ibibigkas or
- 57:51hindi mo siya sasabihin. But there are
- 57:54still words na talagang kailangan mong
- 57:57i-pronounce lahat ng letters doon sa
- 57:58word na iyon. So you have to know which
- 58:01letters should you pronounce and which
- 58:03letters should you not pronounce. And
- 58:05then yun nga, if you need to pronounce
- 58:07the letters, kailangan nandun yon. Huwag
- 58:08mong is-skip yon. So how will you know?
- 58:10Search na po natin sa Google. O kaya
- 58:13kailangan niyong practice kasi if you
- 58:15don't practice you will not encounter
- 58:18English words na hindi niyo alam kung
- 58:19paano ah basahin or banggitin. Kaya
- 58:22paano kung yun yung lumabas sa araw ng
- 58:24exam ba. So you have to practice and
- 58:26practice and practice to encounter to
- 58:28know as many words as many English words
- 58:31as possible kung paano i-pronounce. So
- 58:33again you will only have that and you
- 58:34can only do that if you practice
- 58:36regularly. Pag hindi niyo alam kung
- 58:38paano i-pronounce then search online
- 58:40paano ang correct pronunciation. Okay.
- 58:42So again, be careful with cluster
- 58:45consonants. Dapat yung mga magkakatabi
- 58:47na yan na consonants, i-pronounce
- 58:49niyobanggitin
- 58:51niyo yung lahat ng letters kung
- 58:53kailangan. Again, for example sa thank
- 58:56you ba minsan nagiging thank you T na
- 58:59lang yung naririnig may nasasabi. So it
- 59:02should be both T and H. Thank you, Ma.
- 59:04No, may may H sound.
- 59:06Thank you. Right. So kailangan iyun. Of
- 59:09course, you don't need to overenunciate
- 59:11or overpronounce it pero dapat nandon
- 59:13yung subtle na H sound. Thank you. Thank
- 59:17you. Malalaman mo naman yun kasi yung
- 59:19placement nung nung dila mo eh dapat
- 59:21nasa papatong siya sa taas na part ng
- 59:24teet tapos dapat medyo may hangin na
- 59:25lalabas ' ba. Thank you. Thank you.
- 59:28Right now, another uh tip is yung mga
- 59:32nasa dulo naman ngayon na consonants or
- 59:34maybe even sometimes vels but definitely
- 59:37yung mga dulo na sound nakakalimutan
- 59:38natin siyang banggitin or i-pronounce ng
- 59:40maayos ng clearly ng malakas. For
- 59:43example yung ed change 'di ba? Yung ed
- 59:46kapag may past tense. So yun yung verb
- 59:49nagiging with ed. So dapat may the may
- 59:51the sound sa huli kasi ed nga siya eh.
- 59:55So dapat changed the na may the sound.
- 59:58Ganun din yung mga S sa dulo or yung PH.
- 1:00:01Dapat yung PH sort of parang F na siya
- 1:00:04or Yeah. And then dapat may Sraphs.
- 1:00:07Graphs right? Minsan yung iba graph na
- 1:00:09lang yung nasasabi ganun din yung
- 1:00:11statistics so again s sound at the end
- 1:00:14and yung K yung K sound sa dulo din.
- 1:00:16Hasp has right. So those very small
- 1:00:20details sa pronunciation. If masasabi
- 1:00:23niyo yun, if mapa-pronounce niyo ng
- 1:00:24maayos yung mga words then you will get
- 1:00:27high sports.
- 1:00:29Now let's go to your vowels. So minsan
- 1:00:31aside from consonant sa vowels naman
- 1:00:33nagkakaproblema kasi nako-confuse tayo
- 1:00:35mga Pilipino. Akala natin minsan kung
- 1:00:37ano yung rule sa Filipino or sa Tagalog
- 1:00:39sa Bisaya ganon na rin yung rule sa
- 1:00:41English. Ano yung rule na binabanggit
- 1:00:42ko? 'Di ba kasi yung a e oou u or a ee i
- 1:00:45o sa Filipino language or filipino
- 1:00:47alphabet ' ba a naman siya lagi yung a
- 1:00:50lagi. Maganda,
- 1:00:53payapa masaya ' ba yung a ay a hindi
- 1:00:57naman siya nagiging may 'di ba? Hindi
- 1:01:00siya ganon. Masaya siya lagi. Ah masaya
- 1:01:02ah. Right. So ganun sa Filipino sa
- 1:01:05tagalog or sa filipino language in
- 1:01:06general.
- 1:01:08Now, ang problema sa English hindi ganon
- 1:01:10kasi yung vowels nila nagche-change ng
- 1:01:12pronunciation. Pwede siyang maging short
- 1:01:14vowel or long vowel. Depende sa gamit,
- 1:01:17depende sa kung anong word siya ah
- 1:01:20nakalagay, no? So kasi for example, yung
- 1:01:22a nila pwedeng a, pwede din namang a
- 1:01:25yung sound. So for example, a yung a sa
- 1:01:28apple 'di ba? Apple. Apple hindi naman
- 1:01:29siya apple, it's apple. So letter a
- 1:01:32sounds as a pero pagdating sa pale, yung
- 1:01:35word na pale, p a l e. So doon napasok
- 1:01:38yung A no na letter A na sound. Pale P A
- 1:01:42P A L P A L P right. So the same E. Yung
- 1:01:45E nagiging E sa elephant pero E din siya
- 1:01:48sa meat. Yung I nagiging e glow sa Elue.
- 1:01:53And then nagiging ey siya sa pile.
- 1:01:56Octopus, mole, umbrella, mule. Right? So
- 1:02:00ang pinaka-point lang dito, huwag niyong
- 1:02:02i-directly apply 'yung rules sa Filipino
- 1:02:04or sa Philippine language pagdating sa
- 1:02:06English kasi magkaiba sila ng rules. So
- 1:02:09you have to make sure na tama ang
- 1:02:10pronunciation ng vowels. If not, again,
- 1:02:12search sa Google kung hindi kayo sure.
- 1:02:15Okay? Now, another thing you can do to
- 1:02:18maximize your score is to make sure na
- 1:02:20tama ang placement ng stress. Sinabi
- 1:02:22nating stress yung diin na sa
- 1:02:24pagsasalita ng bawat ah bawat syllables
- 1:02:29ng word. For example, yung development,
- 1:02:31right? Development sa lop yung stress or
- 1:02:34yung pagtaas ng tone. Development hindi
- 1:02:37naman siya pag nilipat mo kasi siya sa
- 1:02:39ibang syllables, pangit na or mali
- 1:02:40napakinggan. Example sa development,
- 1:02:43right? Development. So may kaiba 'yung
- 1:02:45development sa development, right? So
- 1:02:48the their correct stress would affect
- 1:02:51your correct pronunciation. Kasi 'ag
- 1:02:52mali 'yung stress mo, mali din 'yung
- 1:02:54pronunciation mo ' ba? 'Yung
- 1:02:56distributions. Distributions magkaiba
- 1:02:58siya sa distributions. Distributions.
- 1:03:01So the correct is distributions, right?
- 1:03:04So yun. I hope you get that one. Another
- 1:03:07tip is in case na hindi niyo talaga alam
- 1:03:10kung paano i-pronounce yung word, you
- 1:03:13can uh substitute it with the word
- 1:03:15something. But again, use this if isang
- 1:03:18word lang naman. Tsaka talagang hindi
- 1:03:19niyo siya sure. Okay? So e paano yun?
- 1:03:22Sir Ja ibig sabihin non mabawasan ako ng
- 1:03:24score sa content. Well yes correct. Tama
- 1:03:26yun. You will really not get the maximum
- 1:03:29score. Pero ang iniiwasan kasi natin
- 1:03:31diyan yung maapektuhan pa yung fluency
- 1:03:33at pronounciation niyo. Kasi baano kapag
- 1:03:36binasa niyo yung isang word na hindi
- 1:03:37niyo alam kung paano basahin wala talaga
- 1:03:39kayong idea. Isang word lang naman t's
- 1:03:41binasa niyo pa tapos dahil nga hindi
- 1:03:43niyo alam so nagkamali kayo. So dahil
- 1:03:45nagkamali kayo, nag-statter kayo
- 1:03:47naapektuhan yung fluency. So instead na
- 1:03:50content lang kayo may negative point
- 1:03:52dahil naapektuhan na rin iyung
- 1:03:53pronunciation, naapektuhan na rin iyung
- 1:03:56ah syempre iyung ah tawag nito yung flow
- 1:04:00nung inyong pagsasalita.
- 1:04:02So nagdoble-doble pa talaga yung
- 1:04:04deduction instead na sa content lang.
- 1:04:05Right? So that's why again if you don't
- 1:04:08know the word wala ka talagang idea. Mo
- 1:04:09talaga sure kung paano siya i-pronounce.
- 1:04:11So you can instead of saying the word
- 1:04:14papalitan mo na lang siya ng something.
- 1:04:16So for example, ito dito let's say itong
- 1:04:18paragraph na 'to um ito yung pinabasa sa
- 1:04:21atin. Tapos sabihin natin hindi mo alam
- 1:04:23kung paano basahin yung word na analyst
- 1:04:28' ba. Hindi mo hindi mo sure kung um
- 1:04:31wait lang parang nawala yung aking aking
- 1:04:36microphone.
- 1:04:38Anyway ayan. So hindi hindi mo sure kung
- 1:04:41halimbawa um ano ba 'yan? Analyst.
- 1:04:44analyst, no? So instead of saying the
- 1:04:47word analyst, pwede mong sabihing
- 1:04:48something. Something were impressed by
- 1:04:50them improvement in margins, right? So
- 1:04:53para tuloy-tuloy lang yung pagbabasa mo.
- 1:04:55Syempre hwag naman sana na lahat na lang
- 1:04:56ng words naging something na ba. So
- 1:04:58applicable lang 'yan kung isang word
- 1:04:59lang naman para lang hindi na dumami pa
- 1:05:02'yung deduction na makukuha mo. Nakuha
- 1:05:05po. Can you give me a thumbs up if you
- 1:05:06if you were able to get the tips? Nakuha
- 1:05:09naman at na-take notes po ba yung mga
- 1:05:11tips natin?
- 1:05:13Please give me a thumbs up if yes.
- 1:05:17Okay. Right.
- 1:05:21So moving forward again.
- 1:05:24Saang part na ba ako? Na.
- 1:05:26Let me just
- 1:05:32so another tip is the pitch of your
- 1:05:33voice. Uh my general um recommendation
- 1:05:38here is to sound happy. No kasi pag mas
- 1:05:40mataas yung pitch ng boses, mas clear
- 1:05:43kagaya ngayon. Hindi naman ganito kataas
- 1:05:45yung pitch ng boses ko kapag nagsasalita
- 1:05:47ako ng normal lang. But I'm using this
- 1:05:50speech naung medyo mataas na tono para
- 1:05:53mas clear yung labas ng boses at ng mga
- 1:05:56words na sinasabi ko para mas
- 1:05:57maintindihan niyo ako. So ganun din po
- 1:05:59sa exam. Ah lalo na po sa mga lalaki sa
- 1:06:01mga males dito na medyo may tendency
- 1:06:04kasi tayo na mababa no? Mababa ang tono.
- 1:06:06Masyadong mababa, masyadong base 'yung
- 1:06:09tono nung boses or pitch ng boses natin.
- 1:06:11Be careful kasi minsan kapag masyadong
- 1:06:13mababa, mahirap siyang intindihin
- 1:06:16mahirap siyang pakinggan.
- 1:06:18Para siyang nagiging parang more na lang
- 1:06:20' ba parang
- 1:06:22parang ganun na lang siya. So dapat
- 1:06:25medyo taasan niyo 'yung pits para mas
- 1:06:26clear, mas um marinig yung sagot ninyo
- 1:06:31or yung pagbabasa ninyo. Okay.
- 1:06:34Now, uh next step is about the fluency
- 1:06:36nga. So again, it's about the
- 1:06:38consistency, yung steadiness ng
- 1:06:40pagbabasa niyo from start to finish
- 1:06:41tuloy-tuloy. And then dapat yung pacing
- 1:06:43din. Huwag masyadong mabilis. H'wag
- 1:06:44masyadong mabagal.
- 1:06:47So now, paano natin masasabi na
- 1:06:49tuloy-tuloy no? Or when do you pause?
- 1:06:53Kailan pwede mag-pause? Kasi baka naman
- 1:06:55mawalan ka ng hangin or maubusan ka ng
- 1:06:57hangin. So there are obvious obvious na
- 1:07:01parang signals na you can pause for a
- 1:07:03quick while lang ha. less than 1 second
- 1:07:05lang na pause. So usually syempre kapag
- 1:07:08merong ah what do you call this? Um
- 1:07:11punctuations. So let's say may comma,
- 1:07:14semicolon, colon, hypen. So those are
- 1:07:18usually reasons for you to pause. Bakit?
- 1:07:21Because it um
- 1:07:25uh it makes the sentence more
- 1:07:27understandable, right? Mas naiintindihan
- 1:07:29mo yung sentence. Ah halimbawa kasi
- 1:07:32chinapchop mo siya ng hindi tama.
- 1:07:34So medyo hindi mo mage-gets kung ano
- 1:07:36yung meaning ng sentence, right? Ah
- 1:07:38tapos yun nga pag may mga punctuation,
- 1:07:40it usually signals the end of a thought
- 1:07:42or the separation of thought. So we we
- 1:07:45usually pause for a very quick while
- 1:07:46langag masyadong matagal. Okay? Um pero
- 1:07:51may mga pagkakataon din na walang kama '
- 1:07:53ba walang period pero kailangan mo ding
- 1:07:56mag-push. So those are what we call
- 1:07:58connected speeches. So ito kasi yung mga
- 1:08:00words na dapat in one breath or sa isang
- 1:08:02basa basahan dapat tuloy-tuloy mo silang
- 1:08:04basahin kasi kapag chinapchop mo na
- 1:08:06pangit na siya pakinggan or hindi mo na
- 1:08:08getets kung ano yung meaning. So for
- 1:08:10example diyan sa sentence na yan, wala
- 1:08:11naman siyang kama in between, right?
- 1:08:13Yung kanyang pang-trason lang is yung
- 1:08:15nasa pinakadulo. 'Di ba? The development
- 1:08:17of easy to use statistical software has
- 1:08:18changed the way statistics is being
- 1:08:20touch and learned, right? One sentence
- 1:08:22tuloy-tuloy walang kama in between. Pero
- 1:08:25kahit na ganon ah kailangan nating
- 1:08:26mag-pause na from time to time pero very
- 1:08:29quickly lang nga more than or less than
- 1:08:31rather no less than 1 millisecond or 1
- 1:08:34second lang.
- 1:08:36So bakit? Para mapakita niyo,
- 1:08:37mapaintindi niyo ano yung meaning nung
- 1:08:39sentence. So for example in that in that
- 1:08:41sentence dapat tuloy-tuloy yung
- 1:08:43pagkasabi ng the development of easy to
- 1:08:44use statistical software right? Yun yung
- 1:08:46tuloy-tuloy kasi pag kinut mo siya in
- 1:08:48the middle hindi mo na mage-gets. 'Di ba
- 1:08:51the development of easy. Anong easy?
- 1:08:53What do you mean by easy? Right? Ah and
- 1:08:56then again next is um
- 1:09:00has changed the way statistics then
- 1:09:02lastly yung is being taught and learned.
- 1:09:04So kung tuloy-tuloy the development of
- 1:09:06easy to use statistical software has
- 1:09:07changed the way statistics is being
- 1:09:09taught and learned. Right? So may
- 1:09:10process siya na very slight lang pero sa
- 1:09:13mga peeling parts lang din. Then again
- 1:09:15'yung pacing dapat tuloy-tuloy. Hindi
- 1:09:17siya pwedeng ano ha parang the
- 1:09:19development of easy to use. That is
- 1:09:21called software has changed the ways
- 1:09:23statistics. So again steady
- 1:09:27right and that's it no. That's basically
- 1:09:28my tips for read allowed and yung
- 1:09:30gagawin niyo sa read allowed. So again
- 1:09:32make sure to consume your practice
- 1:09:34practice time. Pakinggan ang sarili
- 1:09:37magbasa ng may boses. Malakas ang boses.
- 1:09:39Dapat clear. Naiintindihan ang
- 1:09:41pronunciation.
- 1:09:43Um, in fact when you practice, maganda
- 1:09:45mag-practice kayo na medyo maingay sa
- 1:09:48paligid niyo. Kasi para napa-practice
- 1:09:50niyo na kaya niyong magbasa kahit na may
- 1:09:52ingay sa paligid na hindi kayo
- 1:09:53madi-distract, hindi kayo titigil, hindi
- 1:09:55kayo magkakamali kahit na may
- 1:09:56destruction.
- 1:09:58Then again, after that 40 seconds na
- 1:09:59magpa-practice, ah kailangan by the time
- 1:10:01mag-start yung recording, ready kayo to
- 1:10:03start, 'di ba? Pag nag-start iyung
- 1:10:04recording, you should start speaking
- 1:10:06then. Then at the end of it, pag natapos
- 1:10:08kayong magsalita, um you click next or
- 1:10:10you click the submit button right away.
- 1:10:14Right? So again, don't start too early
- 1:10:16or too late. Don't pause for more than 3
- 1:10:18seconds. As soon as you finish, click
- 1:10:20next submit. Don't be bothered in case
- 1:10:22magkamali, don't be bothered. Remember,
- 1:10:24you're just a person. So, magkakamali at
- 1:10:26pagkakamali tayo. But again, if
- 1:10:28magkamali, huwag ng mag-focus sa
- 1:10:29pagkakamali. Move on agad. Proceed agad
- 1:10:32sa next. proceed agad sa mga bagay na
- 1:10:34kaya mo pang bigyan ng mataas na score.
- 1:10:37Kasi remember integrated ang scoring
- 1:10:39pwede niyang mahatak pataas pa. Right?
- 1:10:42And then again practice regularly. Kasi
- 1:10:44kung wala ngang practice bale wala itong
- 1:10:45lahat na pinag-uusapan natin because
- 1:10:48it's it's a skill no? Itong mga ginagawa
- 1:10:50natin these are skills. And like any
- 1:10:52other skills, gagaling ka lang diyan sa
- 1:10:55sa task na yan kung pina-practice mo
- 1:10:59siya. Ano? When you're building your
- 1:11:00muscle na parang maging muscle memory mo
- 1:11:02na lang siya. Pero kung hindi ka
- 1:11:04nagpa-practice eh don't expect that you
- 1:11:06will get a high score or that you will
- 1:11:09pass the exam kasi nga depende siya dun
- 1:11:11sa skill mo and you have to practice
- 1:11:14para ma-develop yung skill mo. Okay? I
- 1:11:17hope clear sa atin yung importance ng
- 1:11:18practice. Now is it okay if I move on sa
- 1:11:22next topic? Masis na. Can you give me a
- 1:11:25thumbs up if we can move on to the last
- 1:11:27topic of the day?
- 1:11:30Any thumbs up? Can we proceed?
- 1:11:33So tapos na kasi yung readout. Mabilis
- 1:11:35lang to. Mas mabilis na to na
- 1:11:36discussion. Definitely will end at 12.
- 1:11:41Okay. So the next question type no?
- 1:11:44Pagkatapos na pagkatapos nung read
- 1:11:46allowed a repeat sentence na. So ang
- 1:11:49repeat sentence 7% siya medyo mas
- 1:11:51mataas. 7% ng overall score and dalawa
- 1:11:56again dalawa ang affected kasi 17% siya
- 1:11:58ng listening and 16% siya ng speaking.
- 1:12:02So if you mess this up if mababa ang
- 1:12:05score niyo dito definitely magsa-suffer
- 1:12:07pababa ang speaking at listening niyo.
- 1:12:09So you have to do well in this question
- 1:12:11type. Lalo na po kung kayo po ay
- 1:12:13magte-take ng masters in teaching early
- 1:12:16childhood education. Level 7 na early
- 1:12:19childhood education. level 8 na early
- 1:12:21childhood education anything na na
- 1:12:23kailangan mag-register kayo for teaching
- 1:12:25council so you need a very very high
- 1:12:28speaking score no 79 so kaya dapat lahat
- 1:12:32ng questions sa speaking ayusin natin
- 1:12:34including this one iyung read allowed
- 1:12:36and iyung repeat sentence but for now
- 1:12:38let's discuss repeat sentence very easy
- 1:12:40lang po very straightforward ang
- 1:12:41mangyayari dito what will happen is may
- 1:12:44magp-play po na audioo
- 1:12:47so sa magpe-play na audio or uh what do
- 1:12:51you call this? Uh audio or sound. Yun po
- 1:12:54ay sentence no? Ang maririnig niyo ay
- 1:12:56sentence, isang buong sentence. So
- 1:12:59magva-vary or mag-iiba na lang yung haba
- 1:13:02ng sentence. May iba na very much uh
- 1:13:04workable siya na five words lang, six
- 1:13:07words. So medyo mas madali pa siyang
- 1:13:09ma-memorize or ma-recall once you heard
- 1:13:11it. Once lang siya, isang beses lang
- 1:13:13magp-play at isang beses lang din siya
- 1:13:17ah pwede pwede balikan no. Um or I mean
- 1:13:22pwede pakinggan rather not balikan.
- 1:13:24Isang beses lang siya pwedeng pakinggan.
- 1:13:25So pag natapos niyo siya mapakinggan,
- 1:13:27natapos mag-play, kailangan niyong
- 1:13:29ulitin word by word ah as possible.
- 1:13:32'yung napakinggan niyong sentence. Okay.
- 1:13:35So yun. Um ganun lang siya. Sir, pag sa
- 1:13:39repeat sentence, allowed po ba examining
- 1:13:40mag-take ng notes exam? Yes, allowed po.
- 1:13:43Um, all throughout the exam, mabibigyan
- 1:13:45po kayo ng meron na pong naka-setup doon
- 1:13:47na pen and paper or pen not paper
- 1:13:50actually. It's a board na white ah para
- 1:13:53siyang marker tapos may board na
- 1:13:56manipis. So doun kayo pwedeng magsulat
- 1:13:58or mag-take ng notes habang ah
- 1:14:01nagsasagot. All throughout pwedeng
- 1:14:02gamitin niyo 'yun. Hindi lang sa
- 1:14:03speaking, sa writing din, sa reading, sa
- 1:14:05listening. Depende kung kailangan niyo.
- 1:14:07So that just to answer that question
- 1:14:09no'. So where am I? Um so going back to
- 1:14:12what I was saying, 'yun nga pag nakita
- 1:14:14pag nabasa niyo or I mean pag
- 1:14:15napakinggan niyo yung one sentence you
- 1:14:17have to repeat it as exact as possible.
- 1:14:20Okay? Now there are certain words nga na
- 1:14:23mahahaba. Meron din namang maikli lang.
- 1:14:25So now what I will be uh discussing to
- 1:14:28you is
- 1:14:30paano yung scoring dito. I before I go
- 1:14:33there, ito yung itsura niya pala. So
- 1:14:35meron siyang dalawang box under the
- 1:14:38instructions. Yung first box ang makita
- 1:14:40niyo meron siyang countdown kung ilang
- 1:14:42seconds na lang bago mag-start yung yung
- 1:14:44ipe-play na sentence. And then in the
- 1:14:47middle meron siyang volume notch, right?
- 1:14:50May adjustment. Pwede mong i-adjust
- 1:14:51'yung volume. Now, lagi 'yan ang default
- 1:14:54niyan lagi ay sa gitna. Okay? Sa gitna
- 1:14:56lang siya lagi. So ang suggestion ko
- 1:14:58before mag-start 'yung magpe-play na
- 1:15:00recording, i-adjust niyo lagi siya to
- 1:15:03maximum para rinig na rinig niyo 'yung
- 1:15:04boses. Okay? Hindi kayo mabibingayi
- 1:15:06kumbaga. So yun ah para rinig na rinig
- 1:15:09niyo, mas makuha niyo. Ah again you can
- 1:15:12use nga 'yung ano natin ah pen and paper
- 1:15:16din no. So mamaya idi-discuss ko ganyan
- 1:15:18'yun. And then sa baba um makikita niyo
- 1:15:20din diyan kung ano 'yung current status
- 1:15:23uh if it's recording already gano'n. And
- 1:15:25then makikita niyo din kung ilang time
- 1:15:27pa 'yung naiiwan. Ah kasi 'yung bar na
- 1:15:30'yan magkakaroon siya ng kulay kapag
- 1:15:32malapit na or umuusad na 'yung timer na
- 1:15:34meron ah kami no or na meron ka as as
- 1:15:37someone who will answer it. So yun ganun
- 1:15:39lang po siya. Um
- 1:15:42so again ganun pa rin pag nag-start yung
- 1:15:43recording dapat magsalita agad and then
- 1:15:46click next agad pag natapos magsalita.
- 1:15:48So let's watch this para masy po.
- 1:15:56>> The bus right out front will take you to
- 1:15:58London.
- 1:16:00>> The bus right out front will take you to
- 1:16:02London.
- 1:16:03And that's it. Ganun lang siya. Ah
- 1:16:07papakinggan niyo yung sentence and then
- 1:16:09uulitin niyo yung sentence tapos tapos
- 1:16:11na. Right? So paano po kayo bibigyan ng
- 1:16:14score dito? The same pa rin po. Content,
- 1:16:16pronunciation and fluency. That's how it
- 1:16:19is pa rin. Ah sa fluency ganun pa rin.
- 1:16:22Dapat tuloy-tuloy magsalita. Walang
- 1:16:23possess. The same with pronunciation.
- 1:16:26The same lang naman. Ang pinagkaiba lang
- 1:16:28po dito sa repeat sentence pagdating sa
- 1:16:30content. Kasi ba kanina sa read allowed
- 1:16:32ang maximum score ay how much or how
- 1:16:34many sa content? 'Di ba? Five ang
- 1:16:37maximum. Dito sa repeat sentence three
- 1:16:40lang siya. And as you can see there, you
- 1:16:42will only get the three points sa
- 1:16:44content if and only ifs
- 1:16:47do sa paragraph
- 1:16:50ay nabasa mo ng tama.
- 1:16:52Again, you will only get three points sa
- 1:16:55repeat sentence. That's the maximum
- 1:16:56score per item if lahat ng words doun sa
- 1:16:58sentence napalitan mo or nalagay mo ng
- 1:17:01tama.
- 1:17:03So ngayon, paano magiging two points if
- 1:17:05at least 50%
- 1:17:08nung material mo? So I suggest ah lagi
- 1:17:12niyong i-practice na at least half or
- 1:17:15dapat more than half nung sentence yung
- 1:17:18ah let's say nalista no or naano mo
- 1:17:21napakausapan mong
- 1:17:24yun.
- 1:17:26Ah wait lang medyo nawala ako. Can you
- 1:17:29still hear me? Clear pa naman po yung
- 1:17:30boses ko. Can you give me a thumbs up?
- 1:17:33Okay. Alr. So going back here, magiging
- 1:17:36two siya if more than half no more than
- 1:17:38half nung words or more than half nung
- 1:17:40sentence yung um naano mo na nabanggit
- 1:17:43mo. So ngayon kailan siya magiging less
- 1:17:46than 2 or one kapag less than half iyung
- 1:17:49naulit mo? So ang strategy po natin dito
- 1:17:52sa repeat sentence, dapat po ang
- 1:17:54i-target niyo lagpas sa kalahati. Okay?
- 1:17:58Huwag po kayong papayag na kalahati lang
- 1:18:01or less than sa kalahati yung naulit
- 1:18:04niyong words.
- 1:18:06Okay? So kasi let's say for example
- 1:18:10nahihirapan kayong kumpletuhin yung yung
- 1:18:12ano no yung sentence ung buong sentence.
- 1:18:15So to the point na ag nagsalita kayo,
- 1:18:17paputol-putol na kayong magsalita kasi
- 1:18:19nga hindi niyo maalala eh. So in case na
- 1:18:22ganon kung hindi talaga kaya na lahat ng
- 1:18:24words maulit again ang ipriority niyo
- 1:18:28dapat at least more than half. So kahit
- 1:18:31more than half lang, kahit i-drop niyo
- 1:18:32na 'yung ibang words, basta tuloy-tuloy
- 1:18:35niyo siyang sasabihin. Dapat hindi
- 1:18:37putol-putol no? Dapat hindi ah pa
- 1:18:41maraming pa. Okay? Para at least makuha
- 1:18:44niyo pa rin yung two points. Ah kaysa
- 1:18:46naman yun nga tray niyong ulitin yung
- 1:18:48buong word pero nagka ano naman kayo
- 1:18:51mali-mali naman kayo no?
- 1:18:52Nagkaputol-putol naman yung ano niyo na
- 1:18:54to the point na hindi niyo tuloy nasabi
- 1:18:56yung as many words as possible. So bale
- 1:18:58wala 'yung mga words na sinasabi niyo
- 1:18:59kung gann. Right?
- 1:19:02So again, fluency very important. Dapat
- 1:19:04tuloy-tuloy kayong magsalita. Dapat
- 1:19:06hindi siya walang unnecessary pais.
- 1:19:09Okay? So now last na po ito. May tatlong
- 1:19:12methods kayong pwedeng gamitin para
- 1:19:15masagutan niyo itong question na to. So
- 1:19:18first is yung obvious 'di ba?
- 1:19:20Memorization.
- 1:19:22So we use our memory, ime-memorize natin
- 1:19:24word by word yung um napakinggan nating
- 1:19:27sentence. Now for some of you,
- 1:19:30magwo-work yun lalo na kapag medyo
- 1:19:32matalas, medyo longterm yung memory
- 1:19:34niyo. Mabilis kayong mag-memorize tsaka
- 1:19:38not only mabilis but nare-retain, no?
- 1:19:41Nare-retain niyo yung mga words ng
- 1:19:42mabilisan.
- 1:19:44So if you're that kind of person, so
- 1:19:46minsan or madalas okay na yung memory,
- 1:19:50right? Pero may mga pagkakataon kasi
- 1:19:53mahahaba talaga yung sentences e. Let's
- 1:19:55say 15 words, 12 words ' ba masyado na
- 1:19:59siyang mahaba. So minsan hindi enough
- 1:20:01yung memory lang.
- 1:20:03So in that case pwede nating gamitin
- 1:20:05yung listing of initials. So paano po ba
- 1:20:08yung listing of initials? So mangyayari
- 1:20:12um kapag pinakinggan niyo yung sentence
- 1:20:14ba meron kayong board and pen.
- 1:20:18Ah pag pinakinggan niyo yung sentence
- 1:20:20word by word ililista niyo yung initials
- 1:20:23ng bawat word. So mangyayari lang diyan
- 1:20:26pag time na para i-record niyo 'yung
- 1:20:28sentence. Ulitin niyo siya. yung nalista
- 1:20:31niyo na mga initials, it will sort of it
- 1:20:33will serve as sort of guide para mas
- 1:20:36mabilis niyong
- 1:20:38ah ma-recall or matandaan maulit yung
- 1:20:40mga words doon sa sentence at para din
- 1:20:43ano ma wala kayong masyadong makalimutan
- 1:20:46ma-skip right? So try natin. Let's see
- 1:20:49kanina yung sentence kanina i-try ko
- 1:20:51siyang ilista dito sa board ha.
- 1:20:58The bus right out front will take you to
- 1:21:00London.
- 1:21:02>> The bus right out front will take you to
- 1:21:04London.
- 1:21:06So ayan
- 1:21:08ang JB R O F W T Y T L. So J is for ah
- 1:21:14sorry not J. T pala yan. T is for the B
- 1:21:18is bus R is right. O is out. F is front.
- 1:21:24And then W is will. T is stake. Y is U.
- 1:21:28T is two and L is London.
- 1:21:31So kahit na medyo matagal na since
- 1:21:32narinig ko yung sentence tanda ko pa rin
- 1:21:34siya kasi may clue ako dito no? Yung
- 1:21:36letters. So the bus right out front will
- 1:21:39take you to London. Right? So it helps
- 1:21:41me to recall the words uh better kasi
- 1:21:45may may clue. Ang tricky lang diyan,
- 1:21:47kailangan marunong ka talaga
- 1:21:48mag-multitask. Napraktisado mo siya na
- 1:21:51habang nakikinig ka, kaya mong ilista
- 1:21:53yung initials. At the same time, medyo
- 1:21:55name-memorize mo yung mga words kasi nga
- 1:21:57bale wala lang naman kung halimbawa
- 1:21:58nandiyan nga yung letter pero hindi mo
- 1:22:00naman tanda kung ano yung letter na yun.
- 1:22:02Ano iyung word for that letter. Right?
- 1:22:04So medyo multitasking siya kasi you have
- 1:22:05to memorize, you have to to list and
- 1:22:08then at the same time kailangan
- 1:22:10ma-recall mo siya. Okay? Now again for
- 1:22:12some it will work for some hindi. Now
- 1:22:15another strategy or method na pwede
- 1:22:17niyong gamitin is 'yung tinatawag nating
- 1:22:18blended method. So yun naman combined
- 1:22:21combination siya ng listing of initials
- 1:22:24and ng memorization. So ang gagawin niyo
- 1:22:26'yung sentence na narinig niyo hahatiin
- 1:22:29niyo siya into two parts. So kahit hindi
- 1:22:31naman equal basta yung first part yun
- 1:22:34yung medyo mas konti na mas konti siya.
- 1:22:37Yung second part yun yung dapat more
- 1:22:39than half nung sentence. Okay? So yung
- 1:22:42first part let's say kanina ' ba yung
- 1:22:44the bus right out front will take you to
- 1:22:52London. Right? That's the entire
- 1:22:55sentence. So yung unang part na
- 1:22:57maririnig niyo, let's say sabihin natin
- 1:22:58yung the bus right
- 1:23:01or sabihin na natin the bus right out or
- 1:23:04right out front.
- 1:23:07Right? Medyo ano na mahaba na siya.
- 1:23:09Sabihin natin kahit yung ano lang
- 1:23:10hanggang the bus right out. So yun yung
- 1:23:13eight list of initials niyo. So the bus
- 1:23:16right out. So TBRO apat lang ba the bus
- 1:23:19right out. Tapos yung second half yung
- 1:23:23front will take you to London or kahit
- 1:23:25yung will take you to London yun yung
- 1:23:27i-memorize niyo word by word. So at
- 1:23:30least mas konti na siya, mas maikli na
- 1:23:32siya. So mas madali na siyang
- 1:23:33ma-memorize 'di ba? Tsaka nasa dulong
- 1:23:35part siya nung sentence.
- 1:23:38Okay? Nasa dulong part siya ng sentence
- 1:23:40so mas madali din siyang ma-memorize.
- 1:23:43Okay? So syempre kailangan pa rin na
- 1:23:46naaalala mo kung ano ba yung EBRO the
- 1:23:48bus right out front tapos idudugtong mo
- 1:23:51na lang yung second half na na-memorize
- 1:23:53mo word by word. Ang kagandahan dito
- 1:23:55kahit na hindi mo makumpleto or
- 1:23:59matandaan lahat nung na list of initials
- 1:24:01mo 'di ba? At least yung more than half
- 1:24:06na second part nung sentence na-memorize
- 1:24:08mo siya kasi nga mas mas maikle na lang
- 1:24:11tsaka mas manageable siya imemorize. But
- 1:24:14at least you will get the two points.
- 1:24:16'Di ba? Kung hindi mo manabi lahat, may
- 1:24:18two points ka pa rin kasi more than half
- 1:24:20pa rin ng sentence iyung na-memorize mo.
- 1:24:22Iyung second half, right? But of course,
- 1:24:24if kaya namang maulit lahat ng words ang
- 1:24:27tuloy-tuloy, mas maganda sana. Pero
- 1:24:29again, ah, hwag niyong ipilit, no? Kasi
- 1:24:31kung halimbawa hindi talaga kaya
- 1:24:33lahat-lahat, so better na at least
- 1:24:35lagpas sa kalahati pero dapat
- 1:24:38tuloy-tuloy. Hwag niyong i-sacrifice
- 1:24:39yung fluency. That is both for ano ha,
- 1:24:41for read a loud and repeat sentence.
- 1:24:42Dapat i-prioritize niyo yung fluency.
- 1:24:46Mas importante yung fluency sa content
- 1:24:48and sa pronunciation. Pero syempre lahat
- 1:24:51naman sila kailangan. Uh yun. So that's
- 1:24:55it no? That's for repeat sentence. Um
- 1:24:58please practice no. Yun talaga ang
- 1:25:00kailangan din dito. Um huwag po kayong
- 1:25:03masyadong ma-stress. Huwag po masyadong
- 1:25:07i-overthink agad ang mga bagay-bagay. Ah
- 1:25:10pagkatapos kasi nitong lecture natin,
- 1:25:12magbibigay ako sa inyo ng mga activities
- 1:25:14' ba. So natural po na mahihirapan kayo
- 1:25:17sa una. Talagang hindi pa kayo sanay eh.
- 1:25:20Hindi niyo naman to ginagawa everyday '
- 1:25:21ba. Hindi naman kayo nagre-read allowed
- 1:25:23or repeat sentence everyday sa buhay
- 1:25:25niyo. In fact baka first time niyo ong
- 1:25:27gagawin ' ba. So huwag po kayong
- 1:25:29ma-stress kung nahihirapan kayo sa una
- 1:25:31sa unang part or sa first few days,
- 1:25:34first few weeks ng practice niyo. Ah
- 1:25:37dahil po yan sa new be kayo na first
- 1:25:39time niyo ong gagawin. So natural po
- 1:25:41yung mahihirapan kayo dahil hindi kayo
- 1:25:43sanay dun sa ginagawa niyo. Ang
- 1:25:45kailangan lang po diyan ay consistent,
- 1:25:47regular at paulit-ulit paulit-ulit
- 1:25:50paulit-ulit paulit-ulit na practice.
- 1:25:53Dahil po kagaya ng kahit anong skill,
- 1:25:54pagkanta, pagsayaw, pagsulat.
- 1:25:58pag ah pagtakbo, maglalakad,
- 1:26:03kahit anong skill natututunan at
- 1:26:05nagiging mas madali kapag araw-araw at
- 1:26:08paulit-ulit nating ginagawa. Ganun lang
- 1:26:10din po ang PTE. Yun yung kagandahan sa
- 1:26:12kanya. Kasi sa PTE kahit hindi ka
- 1:26:14perfect paglish, kahit hindi perfect
- 1:26:17yung grammar mo kasi skills ang usapan
- 1:26:19dito. Kaya niyo siyang aralin, kaya niyo
- 1:26:22siyang practisin. Okay?
- 1:26:24So I hope clear sa atin yun ha. Sana po
- 1:26:27wala akong ah maririnig na Sir Jax. Ayaw
- 1:26:29ko na. Ang hirap pala Sir JX. Ah hindi
- 1:26:33ako muna magse-send ng activity kasi
- 1:26:35nahihirapan ako. Again po kailangan na
- 1:26:38perfect agad at talagang natural po yan
- 1:26:41na mahihirapan kayo sa una. Kailangan
- 1:26:43lang gawin niyo muna siya. Just do it.
- 1:26:45Just follow the instructions. Gawin niyo
- 1:26:48lang muna. H'wag niyo munang i-stress
- 1:26:50'yung sarili niyo. Huwag niyo munang
- 1:26:52i-obsess 'yung sarili niyo na dapat
- 1:26:53perfect kayo. So gawin niyo muna. Ipasa
- 1:26:56niyo tapos. 'Yun lang ang kailangan ko.
- 1:26:58Ipasa niyo lang 'yung pinapagawa ko.
- 1:27:00Tapos tayo. Ah kung may mali, kung may
- 1:27:03kailangan ayusin, sasabihan ko kayo. I
- 1:27:05will give you feedback. I will give you
- 1:27:07coaching. But again, gawin niyo muna no.
- 1:27:10Huwag niyo munang i-obsess yung sarili
- 1:27:12niyo na maging perfect agad. Gawin niyo
- 1:27:14lang at ipasa niyo lang. Kasi kung wala
- 1:27:16kayong ipapasa sa akin, hindi ko kayo
- 1:27:18matutulungan. Hindi ko hindi ko masasabi
- 1:27:20kung ano yung kailangan niyo gawin, ano
- 1:27:21yung kailangan niyo i-improve. Right?
- 1:27:23Kasi 'yung iba nade-delay ng nade-delay
- 1:27:26na tumatagal ng tumatagal sa
- 1:27:27pagre-review kasi gusto nila perfect
- 1:27:29agad, 'di ba? Gusto nila akala nila
- 1:27:33kailangan 'yung isu-submit nila sa akin
- 1:27:35perfect again, which is no. Kailangan
- 1:27:37lang pag natapos kayong mag-submit,
- 1:27:39continue pa rin sa practice na hindi din
- 1:27:40naman pwede na dahil nag-submit na kayo
- 1:27:42ng activity sa akin, hindi na kayo
- 1:27:44magpa-practice after that. Hindi pwedeng
- 1:27:46ganon. Dapat tuloy-tuloy pa rin kahit na
- 1:27:48nakapag-submit na ng activity. So I will
- 1:27:50just answer some questions here. Natapos
- 1:27:52ko na 'tong note taking uh as soon as
- 1:27:55matapos po 'yung record sentence, turn
- 1:27:57po ba agad to record? So again po
- 1:27:59titingnan niyo dun sa screen. If it says
- 1:28:01recording na, so recording na. Nakalagay
- 1:28:03naman dun sa status kung recording na.
- 1:28:05Okay? So make sure na huwag kayong
- 1:28:07mag-start right away. Tapos hindi pa
- 1:28:09naman pala recording.
- 1:28:11Ah may mga materials po ba kayo? Yes no.
- 1:28:13So after this as I mention magbibigay
- 1:28:15ako ng mga marami kasing available din
