September Favorites: Burgundy Eyeliner, Eight Sleep, Lumify, & More — Transcript

- 0:00Hi everyone, welcome back. Today we're
- 0:01doing my September favorites and I'm
- 0:04especially excited about this one
- 0:05because we're starting to get into fall
- 0:09and I feel like my mood is changing. The
- 0:11things I'm wearing is changing and so it
- 0:13really just kind of kicks in this like
- 0:15shopping mood for me. I'm always a
- 0:17shopper, but the fall is like really
- 0:19it's like you do a little like cleaning
- 0:21up of your home and then you just bring
- 0:23in all the new stuff. So, let's talk
- 0:25about it. Welcome to Glow Lab. We're
- 0:26going to have a lot of fun and learn a
- 0:28lot [music] together. We're going to of
- 0:29course start with beauty. I have
- 0:31switched up back to wearing burgundy
- 0:34eyeliner. I got hit by the Tik Tok shop.
- 0:36I was getting all the ads for the Soi uh
- 0:40waterproof eyeliner and I got the color
- 0:42lovesick is what I want to say it's
- 0:44called and it is such a good eyeliner.
- 0:46The pencil is really thin. It's one that
- 0:48is retractable so you can like you never
- 0:50have to sharpen it basically which is my
- 0:51favorite thing when it comes to any kind
- 0:52of liner. The color is like a burgundy
- 0:54color. And the reason why I say I've
- 0:56like brought back burgundy into my
- 0:58makeup routine is because I used to wear
- 1:01burgundy all the time when I was
- 1:02younger. This is this is like kind of
- 1:03like a throwback to like the early 2000s
- 1:05because there was this article that came
- 1:07out one time where Heidi Clume, the
- 1:09model, said that she wears like purple
- 1:11and burgundy's to bring out the golden
- 1:13specks in her eyes. And from there it
- 1:14turned into this thing that beauty
- 1:15editors would always say about purples
- 1:17and burgundy's. And so everybody for a
- 1:20while there was wearing like burgundy
- 1:21liner or burgundy mascara. And recently
- 1:24I've noticed these burgundies and these
- 1:25like deep browns have really made their
- 1:28way back because they make brown eyes
- 1:29look really really pretty. So this one I
- 1:32like because it's like a burgundy but
- 1:34it's more like a deep brown. Like it's
- 1:37like a brown with a little bit of a red
- 1:38undertone to it. And it's waterproof.
- 1:40And like I said it's retractable. It's
- 1:42it's a you know a pencil you don't have
- 1:44to sharpen. And also it's a very thin
- 1:47pencil which is a big deal for me
- 1:49because we even used it today. My makeup
- 1:51artist Nanda I was telling her about it
- 1:53and she was like oh let me use it on
- 1:54your makeup today and she used it on me
- 1:56and she really could get like this thin
- 1:58thin wing and just like swoop it out you
- 2:00know so it looks beautiful. It stays. We
- 2:03I was like swatching it for her. I've
- 2:05washed my hands three times and put on
- 2:06lotion and you can even still see like a
- 2:08little fade of the color too. So it's a
- 2:11really good pencil. I like it. The tip
- 2:12is 1.5 mm, so it's really, really thin,
- 2:15and that's like my favorite. Next up is
- 2:17the Iris and Romeo weekend skin
- 2:20sunscreen. This is a mineral sunscreen
- 2:22that I have talked about actually before
- 2:24and I went out and I bought a new tube
- 2:26of it. So, I felt like, you know what,
- 2:28whenever there's a product that I find
- 2:29myself repurchasing, I want to share it
- 2:32more and more because, you know, it's
- 2:34rare when I go and buy my own beauty
- 2:36products. Actually, I should take that
- 2:37back. It's not that rare anymore. I I
- 2:39hate receiving PR cuz I don't just want
- 2:41like endless junk in my house at this
- 2:44point. If it's something I didn't feel
- 2:45inclined to buy, I don't really want it
- 2:47anymore. I think this is just because
- 2:48there's like the beauty industry is so
- 2:50saturated. I work in this industry. It's
- 2:52like it's just too much. Obviously, I'm
- 2:53very grateful for PR. But when I truly
- 2:57feel like I want to repurchase
- 2:59something, I feel like it's something
- 3:01noteworthy for all of you, too. So, this
- 3:03sunscreen is a tinted sunscreen. They
- 3:05have two I want to say they actually
- 3:06have three shades of it. It is a mineral
- 3:09sunscreen. It's nonnano zinc oxide. I'll
- 3:12throw out there, it's a pricey mineral
- 3:13sunscreen, but I do find I use it a lot.
- 3:15Sometimes in place of my foundation,
- 3:17like on a just a regular day when I'm
- 3:19not going to be on camera or anything
- 3:20like that. Even sometimes under makeup
- 3:23though, I'll wear it because it gives
- 3:24this really glowy, radiant look. Anna
- 3:27actually thinks it looks a little too
- 3:28greasy or feels too greasy on her, but I
- 3:30have dry skin. I love it. I use like the
- 3:33bronzier shade. So, I want to say it's
- 3:34like the second shade that they have,
- 3:36not their first shade. It is $50, just
- 3:38so you guys know. But it also has a
- 3:40vitamin C derivative, so it's really
- 3:42stable. It helps with the antioxidants
- 3:43and it has nyioinamide in it, and it
- 3:45just gives you this radiant glow. I love
- 3:47it. There's something about this
- 3:48sunscreen that makes me want to
- 3:50repurchase it. Next up, if you saw my
- 3:52interview with Dr. Ena Lazar, she talked
- 3:54about Lumifi and how Lumifi is better as
- 3:57like an eye drop when you want white
- 3:59eyes, like when you want to get rid of
- 4:00the redness of your eyes. She talked
- 4:02about it being a lot better for your
- 4:03eyes, not necessarily something that you
- 4:05should use all the time. Uh, but we did
- 4:07this whole episode on dry eyes. She has
- 4:09a whole procedure that she helps people
- 4:11with. But we talked about eye drops,
- 4:13especially for people that have red
- 4:15eyes, which I have red eyes all the
- 4:17time. I have allergies, seasonal
- 4:19allergies that I deal with. When I'm
- 4:20tired, my eyes look red. When I've been
- 4:22in front of the computer, my phone too
- 4:24long, my eyes turn really red. I'm just
- 4:26really sensitive to this. So, we talked
- 4:28about how I try to avoid using Visine
- 4:31and other eye drops like this all the
- 4:32time because I've heard you can get a
- 4:34rebound effect, meaning that it actually
- 4:35makes you have to use it all the time
- 4:37because your eyes are even more red the
- 4:39more you use it. And so, she talked
- 4:41about Lumifi and how it doesn't give you
- 4:43that rebound effect. So, I went out, I
- 4:45bought Lumifi, I started using it again
- 4:47and I was like, why did I stop using it?
- 4:49My eyes are so bright white when I use
- 4:51it. I still am trying to like limit the
- 4:54amount of use because she said if you
- 4:56find that you're still like using any
- 4:58type of eye drops whether it's Lumifi or
- 4:59not. She said that you should definitely
- 5:01go see a doctor like her because that
- 5:03means that you're probably dealing with
- 5:04something else and you should get it
- 5:05checked. But I do use it on days like
- 5:08today when I'm going to be on camera and
- 5:10it works really really well. And I have
- 5:11to throw out there the the PR team did
- 5:13reach out to me and they sent me a
- 5:15little bundle of uh Lumifi as well. So I
- 5:17think I'm stocked up for at least the
- 5:19next few months on my Lumifi. It really
- 5:21is a great eye drop and I just love
- 5:23knowing that there's an option out there
- 5:24that does not give you that rebound
- 5:25effect. Next up is the perfume I've been
- 5:27wearing. It is from Lee. I really am
- 5:30like partial to Lee fragrances. Last
- 5:33time I talked about one of their candles
- 5:35that I love for my house. Every fall
- 5:37season I go and buy a new Lee perfume
- 5:40and this time I bought the air sutza
- 5:43elixir. I want to say the reason why I
- 5:45like it is it feels sexy. It feels light
- 5:47but it's also a little bit musky. So, it
- 5:48has this floral bit to it. It's a little
- 5:51bit fruity and it's musky, which
- 5:53actually I'm starting to realize is a
- 5:55profile that I really like because even
- 5:57our made in Miami, the Playa made in
- 5:58Miami fragrance is also a little bit
- 6:00fruity. It's also a little bit floral
- 6:02and it's also a little bit musky. But
- 6:04these feel really, really different.
- 6:06This one feels like true perfume,
- 6:08whereas the Made in Miami feels like
- 6:09something you want to wear all the time.
- 6:11Like you can spray it freely all over
- 6:13yourself. and it has a little bit more
- 6:15of a spicy note to end it. So, there's
- 6:19something like slightly different about
- 6:20Made in Miami versus this one. But, I
- 6:22really love the fragrance and I find
- 6:24it's one of those fragrances that lasts
- 6:26the entire day. So, like I really can
- 6:28smell it all over myself. I I love
- 6:30mixing it with the Playa Made in Miami
- 6:32because it just blends really well
- 6:34together, too. But, it's a beautiful
- 6:35perfume and I I really think that the
- 6:37Lou perfumes are are great. I actually
- 6:38convinced my boyfriend to get a Louis
- 6:40cologne because he went with me to go
- 6:43pick out this one and then he started
- 6:45smelling some and I was like, "You're
- 6:46going to love these cologn." So, he
- 6:48bought one, too. Also, on the topic of
- 6:49beauty, because we're entering the fall,
- 6:51this is when I really start to kick up
- 6:53all my my beauty treatments. Some of the
- 6:55ones that I have lined up, or at least I
- 6:57in my mind, I've got them lined up. I
- 6:59actually have scar therapy. I'm going to
- 7:01continue on with that. I started it at
- 7:02the beginning, like right before summer
- 7:04started. I did one session. That's when
- 7:06they use an injection to get rid of
- 7:08these spider veins on your legs. It
- 7:10makes your legs look really ugly for
- 7:11like two, three weeks. So, you have to
- 7:13be very aware of that. But it's in my
- 7:15opinion like the true therapy that works
- 7:18for spider veins. So, I'm doing that
- 7:21when I had frozen eggs like a year ago,
- 7:23year and a half ago. All those hormones
- 7:25like really got my spider veins going. A
- 7:28lot of people don't realize that spider
- 7:29veins can sometimes be triggered by an
- 7:32influx of hormones. So, like if you're
- 7:33on birth control or something, you might
- 7:34start seeing more spider veins. Same
- 7:36with some of your cellulite. It can
- 7:37really kick that up. So, I saw this
- 7:39difference. Like I really had more
- 7:41spider veins after I done the egg
- 7:42freezing treatment. So, I decided to
- 7:45start the scar therapy. It is not
- 7:46pleasant. I'll tell you that. Like, you
- 7:48kind of have to lay there and they're
- 7:49injecting it. It's kind of fascinating
- 7:50to watch your veins disappear, but then
- 7:52you get all this bruising and sometimes
- 7:53the veins look a little bit worse before
- 7:55they get better. So, I decided to stop
- 7:57during the summertime and now I'm going
- 7:58to start back up. I actually have an
- 7:59appointment this upcoming Monday. So,
- 8:01I'm going to start back up and I'll
- 8:02probably do like two or three treatments
- 8:04of that with Dr. Julie Dea Cruz, who is
- 8:07one of my favorite dermatologists and
- 8:08the person that I trust the most when it
- 8:10comes to like really deep laser
- 8:12treatments for my skin tone. I'm going
- 8:14to go probably see her soon for another
- 8:16round of CO2 and she'll probably stack
- 8:18another uh laser treatment with it. Last
- 8:21time I think she added Fraal to the
- 8:22treatment. Don't quote me on this, but
- 8:24this is what she did for me and I really
- 8:26saw great results. So, this time I'm
- 8:27going to do it with her. But I want to
- 8:29try to get in at least two more
- 8:30treatments. I don't have as much travel
- 8:32this fall as I usually do. And it's like
- 8:34this great opportunity for me to go like
- 8:36every 6 weeks to get my skin exactly
- 8:38where I want to get it. So, I'm excited
- 8:40about it. And then I'm going to go see
- 8:42Rochelle at Skincare by Amy Peterson
- 8:44because she's my girl when it comes to
- 8:45my bio stimulators. She does Reuba
- 8:48specifically on me, which kind of gives
- 8:49you this like fat cell matrix to really
- 8:52grow your own fat cells in the places
- 8:54that you inject it. So, I'm just going
- 8:56to give myself a little boost in this
- 8:58upper area where I had gotten the fat
- 9:00injections last year. So, I'm going to
- 9:02do my little I guess like annual boost,
- 9:05fat boost to my face. So, it's going to
- 9:07be very, you know, it's going to be
- 9:08really subtle. You guys might not even
- 9:10notice, but I notice. Okay. And I feel
- 9:12like this little upkeep, like an annual
- 9:14upkeep of my bio stimulators is like
- 9:16really keeping my face snatched.
- 9:20This episode is brought to you by
- 9:21BonCharge. You guys know I love my red
- 9:24light therapy. I'm so consistent with it
- 9:25that my kids don't even blink anymore
- 9:27when they see me wearing [music] a mask.
- 9:28Mom's sitting there in a glowing face
- 9:29mask. Totally normal. Happens every day.
- 9:32And lately, I've been using the red
- 9:34light face mask from Boncharge. I've
- 9:36tried a lot of skincare products and
- 9:37devices over the years, and red light is
- 9:38one of those few things I always come
- 9:40back to. I use it for so much more than
- 9:42just anti-aging, too. When my skin's
- 9:44irritated, when I've done a treatment
- 9:46and want to help it bounce back, when I
- 9:48just want 10 quiet minutes to myself at
- 9:50the end of the day, it's my answer for
- 9:52all of it. But, by the way, I do it for
- 9:53like 30 minutes. Bon Chargar's Red Light
- 9:55Face Mask combines red and near infrared
- 9:58light to support elasticity and fuel
- 10:00your cell's energy production. Over
- 10:02time, with consistency, it can help
- 10:04soften the look of fine lines and
- 10:06wrinkles, even your skin tone, and bring
- 10:08back that lit from within glow. And it's
- 10:10just so easy to fit into real life. You
- 10:12do 10 minutes, mask on while you read or
- 10:14meditate, or do absolutely nothing. I've
- 10:17even dozed off in it more than once.
- 10:19It's just that soothing and comfortable.
- 10:20I can definitely tell the difference in
- 10:22my skin when I keep up with my red light
- 10:24therapy sessions. Here's a little on the
- 10:26brand. Boncharge is a holistic wellness

- 12:32All right, moving on to fashion. I guess
- 12:34like the fashion clothing category. Um,
- 12:36the jeans I'm wearing are fantastic.
- 12:38They're only $60. They're from Uniliglo
- 12:40and I highly recommend them. They are
- 12:43the straightle men's jeans. The reason
- 12:45why I think that they're so great is
- 12:46because they are a collaboration with JW
- 12:49Anderson. If you don't know who that is,
- 12:51he used to be the Louis creative
- 12:53director. He recently, like a year ago,
- 12:56moved over to Dior and he also does have
- 12:58his own line called JW Anderson. So,
- 13:01this is a collaboration with his own
- 13:03line. And I find that these jeans are
- 13:05like the perfect baggy, comfy,
- 13:08straightlegg jeans for everybody. They
- 13:09have a few different shades. I don't
- 13:11know if you knew this, but I didn't
- 13:13actually until I went on to the website.
- 13:14I bought these in person. I was in the
- 13:16store and I saw these jeans. I was with
- 13:18my boyfriend. He was shopping for some
- 13:20t-shirts that he likes there. And I just
- 13:22happened to be in the men's section,
- 13:23which I never go into. And I saw these
- 13:25jeans and I was like, "Wait, I have to
- 13:26get these." I'm wearing the size 29,
- 13:29which is really baggy on me actually.
- 13:31But again, it's like that perfect boy
- 13:33jean baggginess for me. I think that
- 13:35they're the 32 in inseam. But what I was
- 13:38going to say is when you go on to the
- 13:39actual website, you can actually
- 13:41customize the inseam length for whatever
- 13:44you want. And you can decide if you want
- 13:45to have like the original seam or if you
- 13:48want it to just be like a frayed seam or
- 13:50whatever it is. And you can really
- 13:52customize it, which I think I think
- 13:53that's like amazing that you can do that
- 13:54with Uniliglo. I had no idea. So, I just
- 13:56placed an order for another pair of
- 13:58these jeans, but in a different color.
- 14:00So, I'll report back on that. But these
- 14:02are a great buy. They are so good that I
- 14:04texted Anna and I said, "You need to buy
- 14:06these jeans." Next up, I decided on the
- 14:09way here that I'm not going to tell you
- 14:11where I bought this thumb ring. But I
- 14:13want to recommend thumb rings to you
- 14:15guys cuz I actually think they're a
- 14:17really cute trend. Like, everybody wears
- 14:19pinky rings, but what about thumb rings?
- 14:20They're so cute. I got this one from a
- 14:23small indie designer and the only reason
- 14:26why I don't I'm hesitant to say the
- 14:28brand of it isn't because I I like the
- 14:30ring actually. I think it's beautiful,
- 14:31but these are moisite stones and two of
- 14:34them have already fallen out. I actually
- 14:36got it with one out. I emailed them and
- 14:38they responded really quickly about the
- 14:40first stone and said that they would get
- 14:41back to me with a solution for it and
- 14:44then she hasn't gotten back to me and
- 14:45it's been over a week and a half, maybe
- 14:46two weeks now. I'll probably check in
- 14:48now that I've lost a second stone. But I
- 14:50don't really know what they're going to
- 14:51do unless they just like completely
- 14:53replace the ring. If they do, I'll
- 14:54report back. That's like really great
- 14:56customer service if they do. Um because
- 14:58it is a beautiful ring. But I think I'll
- 14:59just go ahead and link some of my
- 15:01favorite thumb rings that I've seen
- 15:03online. That way you have just a few
- 15:05options. But I think a thumb ring is
- 15:07like that's fun. And then going back to
- 15:09because it's fall, I always think it's
- 15:11nice to splurge on a really fancy scarf,
- 15:15like a really big one. I do travel a
- 15:17lot. Like I'm on an airplane at least
- 15:18once a month. So if I'm going to be on
- 15:20an airplane, I want to have a big scarf
- 15:22with me. And I find that designer
- 15:23scarves are the best ones to get. I have
- 15:26a couple from Lee. I have a couple from
- 15:28Salaron. I actually just bought a new
- 15:29one from Salaron. And it almost is
- 15:31essentially like a blanket. Like you can
- 15:33walk into a lot of these designer stores
- 15:34and be like, "You know what? I want a
- 15:36really big blanket type scarf." And
- 15:38they'll bring out lots of different
- 15:40options for you. So I just picked out a
- 15:41new scarf. I got one from Salarant. I
- 15:43love it. It's really soft and it's comfy
- 15:46and I'm I know I'm going to use it all
- 15:48the time. So, I highly recommend if you
- 15:50want to splurge on yourself, but you
- 15:51know, you don't have the option to go
- 15:52get like a bag necessarily, but you want
- 15:54to still kind of go up there, get a nice
- 15:57scarf. It's totally worth it. I use them
- 15:59all the time, especially if I'm on an
- 16:01airplane. Next up, I am a candy freak.
- 16:03Like, I'm a snacks/ candy freak. It's
- 16:06probably especially candy is like one of
- 16:08the worst things I do for my body and my
- 16:10skin. I cannot help myself. I'm addicted
- 16:12to snacks and candy. So, I'm always
- 16:14finding like interesting weird candies.
- 16:16And the one I'm like obsessed with right
- 16:17now is called uh the brand is called
- 16:19Joby. It's called Rocadas. They're these
- 16:22watermelon candies that have basically
- 16:24like taheen on top of them. So, they
- 16:26start off really salty and savory and
- 16:28like a touch spicy. They have that
- 16:29taheen flavor and then it turns into
- 16:32this sweet hard candy, a watermelon
- 16:33candy, and it's delicious. Like, I don't
- 16:36know why you wouldn't like that. I know
- 16:38some people don't like taheen, but if
- 16:39you like taheen, it's amazing. Like,
- 16:41it's one of the best candies out there.
- 16:43And I'll say I buy every taheen candy I
- 16:46come across. Like there has not been a
- 16:47taheen candy I have not purchased if I
- 16:49saw it, whether it's at the airport or
- 16:51at a store or whatever. And sometimes
- 16:53they're not good. So this one is
- 16:55delicious. Next up is eight sleep. I
- 16:58bought this myself. I know that a lot of
- 16:59content creators get this for free and a
- 17:02lot of people are doing ads for it. I
- 17:03wanted to purchase it myself because I
- 17:05truly wanted to just like form my own
- 17:07opinion on it. Um I bought the entire
- 17:10system. So, I bought the system that
- 17:11like goes under your bed to lift it that
- 17:14gives you like a sound machine and
- 17:16everything. I bought the blanket. Like,
- 17:17I bought the entire system. But what I
- 17:20actually recommend is just the smart
- 17:22mattress cover. At first, I wasn't sure
- 17:24if I like. If you don't know what eight
- 17:26is, it's basically this system to help
- 17:28regulate your temperature while you're
- 17:30sleeping. I'm one of those people that I
- 17:32just don't even know what my temperature
- 17:33is going to be, especially living in
- 17:35Miami. You can blast the air conditioner
- 17:37and still be sweating in your bed if you
- 17:38have like a regular comforter because
- 17:40it's just like this juxosition. Like it
- 17:42sometimes doesn't even get that cool in
- 17:44your room no matter how high you're
- 17:45blasting the air. Then you don't want to
- 17:47blast it so high that you're freezing.
- 17:50So it's like very uncomfortable
- 17:51sometimes to sleep, especially in the
- 17:53summertime in Miami. So, I got this um
- 17:56specifically for that because I've
- 17:57definitely had these like pmenopause
- 17:59situations where I've woken up like in a
- 18:01you know like a pull of sweat as well,
- 18:03but then sometimes I get really cold
- 18:04while I'm sleeping too. This is really
- 18:07interesting because what I started doing
- 18:10when I installed it during the summer
- 18:11time was keeping it at a cooler
- 18:12temperature and then I started realizing
- 18:14it was making me too cold and I wasn't
- 18:16like comfortable. And then now that
- 18:19we've moved into fall, I find that I go
- 18:21to sleep with it like one degree up or
- 18:24like one level up. I guess it's not
- 18:25really a temperature thing. And it's so
- 18:28cozy with the room kind of cold around
- 18:30me and I don't want to get out of bed.
- 18:34It's truly like it's kind of a game
- 18:36changer. I'm still trying to figure out
- 18:39if I like it or not. Like there are
- 18:40moments where it's like sometimes like
- 18:42the alarm gets triggered on it. So, it's
- 18:43waking me up at like 7:00 a.m. or
- 18:45something when I wanted to sleep in
- 18:46finally or, you know, like it's got like
- 18:49some of the settings just like decide
- 18:50that they're going to go on. I don't
- 18:52really know what it's what it's doing.
- 18:53It's supposed to be kind of like
- 18:54tracking you and so it starts to like
- 18:56learn your temperature and everything
- 18:58and be fixing itself. It's kind of like
- 19:00having like a smart ring, you know, like
- 19:01it's tracking your sleep, how well
- 19:03you're sleeping, your temperature, and
- 19:04how it's changing and stuff. So, it's
- 19:06supposed to get to know you, but I find
- 19:07that one of the flaws is that it hasn't
- 19:09really gotten to know me. Sometimes my
- 19:10kids are in the bed, sometimes my
- 19:12boyfriend's in the bed. By the way, if
- 19:14you have a husband or a boyfriend or a
- 19:15partner, it can also be dual zoned, so
- 19:18it can be, you know, set to a
- 19:20temperature for your side and set to a
- 19:21temperature for your partner's side as
- 19:22well. So, it really has these like cool
- 19:24functions. I feel like this was created
- 19:26for a man with a man in mind. It's an
- 19:28ugly system. I was really hesitant to
- 19:30install it because it's black. You have
- 19:32to have this big tower thing that's on
- 19:34the side of your bed, and that was ugly
- 19:36for my room. And I don't know, I was
- 19:38really hesitant about it. So, I I feel
- 19:39like I'm like 50/50 about it, but now
- 19:41I've been sleeping really cozy, and now
- 19:43I'm starting to love it. I'm informing
- 19:45you about it, and I really think you
- 19:47just need the mattress cover if you do
- 19:48fluctuate temperature- wise, but I'm
- 19:51throwing out some caveats with this one,
- 19:53cuz it is pricey, too. Next up, I've
- 19:56kind of joined the bandwagon when it
- 19:57comes to the old school digital cameras.
- 20:00I went back to my G7X, and I love it. I
- 20:03think my best photos are actually with
- 20:04my G7X, but what I find is it's a little
- 20:07bit clunky. like you can't just throw it
- 20:08into your purse. I'm a I'm like a little
- 20:10purse girl. Like I I kind of either have
- 20:12like a small purse with me or a really
- 20:14large bag with me. It's never really in
- 20:16the middle anymore. So, it's not easy to
- 20:19carry it with me. And then I find that I
- 20:20throw it into my bigger bag that's like
- 20:22a travel bag and then it kind of gets
- 20:24beat up and then my pictures don't look
- 20:25as good cuz maybe like the lens is dirty
- 20:27or something like I'm really beating up
- 20:28my G7X. I think that those photos are by
- 20:31far the best. But I recently bought a
- 20:34little like cheaper digital camera. It's
- 20:37the Kodak PixPro FC FZ55.
- 20:40It's tiny and it doesn't take the most
- 20:43amazing pictures, but what I've decided,
- 20:45the reason why we like these digital
- 20:48camera pictures is because they're not
- 20:50super HD. Like, we kind of like that
- 20:52they're not showing every pore on your
- 20:54face, every wrinkle on your face. Like,
- 20:55they make you look prettier because
- 20:57you're softer. And like, isn't that what
- 20:59we wanted? Why did we go so HD with
- 21:01everything? Like, our iPhones get too
- 21:02much detail. I don't want to see the the
- 21:05powder cracking on my face. I don't want
- 21:07to see the makeup that's like getting
- 21:08into my crow's feet. And the newer
- 21:11cameras just like show all that. The
- 21:13iPhone can sometimes show every
- 21:15imperfection. Whereas these digital
- 21:17cameras, they're so nice because they
- 21:19just make you look smooth. It's like you
- 21:21kind of have a filter. And so I like
- 21:22this one. It's not the most crisp photo,
- 21:24but it's really, you know, really small.
- 21:26It's fun to have with you. And it has
- 21:29like a little flash on it. I really
- 21:30think it's just for fun. Anyway, so
- 21:32those were my September favorites. I
- 21:34already Anna and I are sitting here
- 21:36right now thinking about all the other
- 21:37ones that I want to add to the list, but
- 21:38I'll just move them over to the October
- 21:40list. Um, I hope that these roundups are
- 21:42really helpful for you because I really
- 21:44love sharing the things that I'm loving
- 21:46that I want to buy that I am buying. And
- 21:48I hope that it's uh inspiring you to
- 21:50purchase some stuff that you actually
- 21:52want or need. So, let me know in the
- 21:54comments below if you have questions
- 21:55about any kinds of products, too, cuz
- 21:56I'm always willing to try stuff for you
- 21:58as well. So, until next time, happy
- 22:00shopping.
