  1. 0:03Hello adorers and welcome to this video
  2. 0:05on setting up and managing a
  3. 0:06self-service kiosk in point of sale. So
  4. 0:09self-service kiosks are a great way to
  5. 0:11enhance customer convenience and
  6. 0:12operations and create a modern ordering
  7. 0:15experience. We will do setting up a
  8. 0:17kiosk is not only pretty straightforward
  9. 0:19but it's also highly customizable. If
  10. 0:21you're excited to get started, let's
  11. 0:23dive right into it. All right, so let's
  12. 0:26start by setting up a new kiosk at the
  13. 0:27point of sale. So we'll go into the
  14. 0:29point of sale application and then into
  15. 0:31configuration and settings. From there
  16. 0:35we will just select new shop right here
  17. 0:38and let's call it kiosk.
  18. 0:41And we also enable the option is a
  19. 0:43bar/rest from here just to specify the
  20. 0:46type of service and we'll click save. So
  21. 0:49now that the shop is created, we will
  22. 0:51change the selfordering option right
  23. 0:53here to kiosk
  24. 0:57and we will also personalize our uh new
  25. 1:00point of sale a little bit. So we'll
  26. 1:02click on home buttons here. Let me just
  27. 1:05save the previous settings real quick.
  28. 1:07Click on home buttons right here. And
  29. 1:10under style, we can choose our visual
  30. 1:13style of the order button. So in this
  31. 1:15case, we'll go with uh lights. You can
  32. 1:17also play with this and see what the
  33. 1:20different options look like in the
  34. 1:21actual kiosk. And and while this is
  35. 1:24done, uh we will also return to our
  36. 1:26settings menu.
  37. 1:28And we will also add a landing image to
  38. 1:31enhance our kiosk's interface.
  39. 1:34So here by default we have uh different
  40. 1:37landing images set up in our kiosk, but
  41. 1:39we will add our custom new one from
  42. 1:41here.
  43. 1:43And uh we can also change the way that
  44. 1:45our customers are served either via the
  45. 1:48pickup zone or at their tables which is
  46. 1:50the option that we will go with in this
  47. 1:52case. And what about the payment
  48. 1:54methods? So depending on your setup Lana
  49. 1:58you your customers can pay either at the
  50. 2:00cashiers or by cart but only using Aiden
  51. 2:03or Stripe payment terminals.
  52. 2:05Now moving on. Another thing you can do
  53. 2:07is you can restrict categories to limit
  54. 2:09the products that will be available in
  55. 2:11your kiosk to specific categories. So
  56. 2:13let's scroll a little bit down here.
  57. 2:15Let's decide to restrict categories in
  58. 2:17our kiosk. And we don't need to create
  59. 2:19separate product categories. We can just
  60. 2:21choose from the existing ones. Uh so we
  61. 2:24will choose the bone appetite food and
  62. 2:26we'll also choose our drinks
  63. 2:28category and we'll save that.
  64. 2:31Perfect. So now we're all done. we can
  65. 2:33go ahead and test our kiosk. So let's go
  66. 2:36into the dashboard and we will click uh
  67. 2:39start kiosk here on the new entry that
  68. 2:41has popped up
  69. 2:44and this generates a URL address. So
  70. 2:46we'll just uh either click on this or we
  71. 2:50can also install the kiosk directly on a
  72. 2:52self-ordering kiosk which we don't have
  73. 2:54one at hand. So we'll just click on the
  74. 2:56link right here.
  75. 2:58Perfect. And this is our new uh kiosk.
  76. 3:01We hit order now and we can select our
  77. 3:04um products that we wish to order. So
  78. 3:05let's go with our signature drink, the
  79. 3:07papuccino.
  80. 3:10And then we can also have a little snack
  81. 3:13of a paw screen from here. And let's hit
  82. 3:16order.
  83. 3:18And moving on, we can edit our order if
  84. 3:20we wish or we can just hit payment. And
  85. 3:22since we chose the table as the pickup
  86. 3:24zone, we also need to enter a tracker
  87. 3:26number before completing our payment. So
  88. 3:28we can then put the tracker on our table
  89. 3:30so the waiter knows how to find us. So
  90. 3:33let's go with one right here. Let's
  91. 3:35select pay.
  92. 3:37And you see that you are invited now to
  93. 3:39go ahead over to the cashiers and pay um
  94. 3:42for your order which is already being
  95. 3:44prepared. Let's go ahead and close that
  96. 3:47and wait for our lovely papuccino to be
  97. 3:49brought over to our table. All right. So
  98. 3:52we have successfully set up our new
  99. 3:53kiosk. It was pretty easy, right? Your
  100. 3:56customers can now order their food and
  101. 3:57drinks independently. I hope you enjoyed
  102. 4:00this tutorial and I look forward to
  103. 4:02seeing you all in the next one. Thanks
  104. 4:03for watching.
