Secret History #5: The Birth of Evil — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Okay, so today we continue the topic of
- 0:04secret societies. Last class we
- 0:07discussed how they come into power.
- 0:11Today we're we will look at where they
- 0:13come from and what they believe.
- 0:15Okay? So to understand secret societies,
- 0:18I first need to explain to you the
- 0:20history of religion
- 0:22in the Western world.
- 0:24So in the Western world, there have been
- 0:26three major stages
- 0:30of religious development.
- 0:33And again, I will oversimplify
- 0:37for the purpose of clarity. Okay? So
- 0:39this is a
- 0:40simplified version of the history.
- 0:43So the three major stages of religion
- 0:46develop of religious development in the
- 0:48Western world are the Mother Goddess,
- 0:52Mother Goddess,
- 0:56uh polytheism,
- 1:00and monotheism.
- 1:06Polytheism means many gods. You believe
- 1:10in many gods. Monotheism means one god,
- 1:15that only one god exists.
- 1:17So the Mother Goddess civilization
- 1:20um came about because of agriculture.
- 1:26And in an agricultural
- 1:29world, you have two problems. The first
- 1:33problem is to make sure that your crops
- 1:35are healthy and you can harvest them in
- 1:38time. Second problem is
- 1:41to give birth, to have as many children
- 1:44as possible to work the fields.
- 1:47Okay? So these are the two problems. And
- 1:48because of that, a religion developed in
- 1:51order to facilitate facilitate both,
- 1:53called the Mother Goddess civilization.
- 1:56So the center of this religion is the
- 1:59womb.
- 2:01The woman's womb is considered a divine
- 2:04portal from the spirit world into our
- 2:07world.
- 2:09It's almost like a cave,
- 2:13right? In which the spirit world can
- 2:16come out and manifest itself in our
- 2:18world. So the center of this religion is
- 2:21the womb of the woman. And as such, the
- 2:24woman are in control.
- 2:27What's really important is to understand
- 2:28that in this world, everything is
- 2:30interconnected, harmonized, balanced
- 2:33together.
- 2:34So the womb is a center of this world,
- 2:37but then you have the stars.
- 2:41Okay? The stars.
- 2:44And of course, this gives rise to
- 2:46astrology.
- 2:47Astrology
- 2:49is the study of the movement of the
- 2:51stars in order to understand it's a it's
- 2:54impact on our world.
- 2:56Okay? Then you have of course
- 2:59um
- 3:01the crops.
- 3:04Right? So in an ideal world, all three
- 3:09are aligned together.
- 3:11By studying the stars, you know when to
- 3:14best plant the crops and when to best
- 3:17have children.
- 3:19And in this world again, it is the woman
- 3:23who are in control. They have the high
- 3:24status in society because they believe
- 3:27that women are direct representatives of
- 3:31the Mother Goddess
- 3:33who rules the world.
- 3:35Usually in this society, the Mother
- 3:38Goddess is represented as a bird.
- 3:42Okay? A bird.
- 3:44Why? Because if you think about it,
- 3:47if you study all the animals in nature,
- 3:49it's the bird that has dominion over the
- 3:51sky.
- 3:53And if life comes from the sky, it makes
- 3:55sense that the Mother Goddess must be a
- 3:57bird of some sort.
- 4:00But uh the Mother Goddess is also paired
- 4:04with a bull. Okay? A bull. Why? Because
- 4:07a bull is a symbol of virility
- 4:12and energy.
- 4:14You cannot You cannot get pregnant
- 4:18as a woman by yourself. You need a man
- 4:20to do it for you. Okay? So the bird and
- 4:23the bull are the two symbols of worship
- 4:26in this world.
- 4:29Now, this world is very strange from our
- 4:33perspective because there's no property.
- 4:37Everything
- 4:38belongs to everyone.
- 4:40There's no hierarchy. Everyone is the
- 4:43same.
- 4:45And there's no
- 4:47such thing as
- 4:50um
- 4:51m-
- 4:52as sex by yourself. Okay? So sex is
- 4:56actually a community act. So there these
- 4:58rituals um called fertility cults,
- 5:01fertility
- 5:03cults,
- 5:04in which
- 5:06they have sex together. In fact, many
- 5:09men will have sex with one woman. It
- 5:11makes sense because as a woman, you want
- 5:15to have the best DNA.
- 5:17You You want to have the best sperm,
- 5:19right? You don't know who's going to
- 5:20have the best sperm, so you just have
- 5:21sex with everyone and whoever has the
- 5:23best sperm will give it to you.
- 5:25Okay? So that's the Mother Goddess
- 5:28civilization.
- 5:30Then we switch to polytheism.
- 5:34So why do we make the switch? The answer
- 5:37is
- 5:38war.
- 5:40For the first time in human history, as
- 5:43populations increase, there's now
- 5:46struggle for resources.
- 5:48And what's the most important resource
- 5:50in this world? Do you guys know?
- 5:54The most important resource is
- 5:56woman, right? Females. Because it's
- 5:59females that give birth. And that's the
- 6:01And so with war, we have a new concept
- 6:03called property.
- 6:05In order to get men to fight wars, you
- 6:09have to give them something as reward,
- 6:11right? So they get to have a woman, a
- 6:13wife. And now this wife belongs to them
- 6:16and only them.
- 6:18So in this world, what happens is that
- 6:21you now have property,
- 6:23hierarchy, and marriage.
- 6:26And the role of the woman decreases and
- 6:30the role of the man increases.
- 6:33Okay? At the same time,
- 6:35what's happening is that
- 6:37these different societies, in order to
- 6:40fight wars, they have a god.
- 6:43Okay? And when they go to war,
- 6:46they it's like the gods are going to
- 6:48war.
- 6:49And if you lose the war, what it means
- 6:52is that your god is inferior to their
- 6:56god.
- 6:58So now you have a hierarchy of gods.
- 7:00So to maintain peace, what happens is
- 7:03that if you lose the war,
- 7:06you admit that your god is weaker than
- 7:09their god and you
- 7:11you now must obey their god.
- 7:15Right? And this is what we call the
- 7:16pantheon.
- 7:19So remember in the Greek pantheon, Zeus
- 7:22is at the top and then you have Apollo,
- 7:25Ares, Aphrodite. Okay? Everyone else is
- 7:28a lower god.
- 7:30But before, they were separate gods. And
- 7:33in a series of wars, the people who
- 7:36believe Zeus is the best god won out
- 7:38against the other gods.
- 7:40And as a result, the other gods became
- 7:42Zeus's children. Yes? Do you have a
- 7:44question?
- 7:46Um why does
- 7:48like the men the men fight for women but
- 7:51women don't fight for men?
- 7:53Like the women don't um
- 7:56fight for the men. So why?
- 7:59Okay.
- 8:01Okay. So the question
- 8:02um is why do men go to war and why don't
- 8:05women go to war? Okay. So
- 8:08that's a really good question. Okay? So
- 8:10let me explain to you very slowly.
- 8:11So in this world, the woman are in
- 8:14control.
- 8:15Right? So women have all the status.
- 8:18But over time, as populations increase,
- 8:22you have a
- 8:24you have young men who have no
- 8:28families. And these young men are
- 8:30discarded from the societies because of
- 8:33lack of resources.
- 8:35So these young men have a problem. They
- 8:38need to find wives in order to survive.
- 8:41So these young men start to raid other
- 8:44societies in order to capture women.
- 8:47Do you understand?
- 8:48So in this society, it's never young
- 8:51women who are discarded because they
- 8:53they have value to their society. It's
- 8:56always young men who are discarded. And
- 8:58as a result, these young men become like
- 9:00wolves. Okay? They become like a wolf
- 9:01pack who then go and pillage other
- 9:03villages. And that's how you start And
- 9:05that's And that's how you have the
- 9:06origin of war. Okay? Does that make
- 9:08sense? Yeah. Okay. So now,
- 9:10you have this pantheon
- 9:12of gods.
- 9:14Okay? Which leads to polytheism.
- 9:18Then we make the switch from polytheism
- 9:22to monotheism. Why? Because now you have
- 9:26a new idea called empire.
- 9:32Specifically, the Roman Empire and they
- 9:35introduce a new religion called
- 9:36Christianity, which is the first
- 9:40monotheistic religion in the world.
- 9:43There's a lot of debate
- 9:45um as to what was the first monotheistic
- 9:47religion. Some people say
- 9:49Zoroastrianism. Some people say Judaism.
- 9:52I will I will show you in this class
- 9:53later on that actually the first
- 9:55religion that was monotheistic is
- 9:56Christianity, okay?
- 9:58So, the difference between between the
- 10:00society where which is a society based
- 10:02on war is you still there's a lot of
- 10:05humans, but humans are still the most
- 10:07precious resource.
- 10:09Therefore, it is not in your best
- 10:10interest to kill everyone.
- 10:12But we have an we we we have an empire
- 10:14like the Roman Empire, you don't have to
- 10:16worry about killing other people. In
- 10:19fact, you can go and destroy entire
- 10:21societies, which is what the Romans did.
- 10:23And you can now as an empire enforce,
- 10:27impose your reality, your God on
- 10:30everyone else.
- 10:31And that's how you have monotheism. Does
- 10:33that make sense?
- 10:35All right. So,
- 10:37having explained that, what I want to
- 10:38show you now is
- 10:41how the world view, our understanding of
- 10:43the world, changes over time.
- 10:48Okay? So,
- 10:50in the
- 10:52mother goddess
- 10:54civilization, there are two things about
- 10:57their world that's very different from
- 10:59our world, okay?
- 11:01So, the first major difference, this is
- 11:02this is really important for you guys to
- 11:04remember is
- 11:06they understood that
- 11:07mind led to matter.
- 11:11Mind
- 11:12leads to matter.
- 11:16But in our world, we believe that it's
- 11:18matter
- 11:20that led to mind.
- 11:22Okay, do you understand? So, in science
- 11:24class you're taught we have a brain,
- 11:26then the brain because of synaptic
- 11:28connections creates the mind.
- 11:31Okay? So, it's matter that leads to
- 11:32mind.
- 11:34Um
- 11:35even though we're taught this, if you
- 11:38think about it, it actually doesn't make
- 11:39any sense.
- 11:41Because how does our small little brain,
- 11:45how is it able to do so much processing,
- 11:47which is the mind, right? How are how
- 11:49are we able to imagine? How are we able
- 11:52to dream?
- 11:54It's really confusing for us. And quite
- 11:56honestly, if you talk to the very best
- 11:58neuroscientists in the world,
- 12:01they their response will always be
- 12:03don't ask this question.
- 12:06Okay? It's never like we don't know,
- 12:07it's always like don't ask this
- 12:08question.
- 12:10Okay, this question is forbidden to ask
- 12:12in neuroscience.
- 12:14But so, throughout most of human
- 12:15history, we believed that it was mind
- 12:18that led to matter. That it's the mind
- 12:20that creates the brain in order to
- 12:22understand the world. Okay? That makes a
- 12:25lot more sense than mind
- 12:28uh matter leads to mind, okay?
- 12:31Okay, so that's the first major
- 12:31difference. Throughout most of human
- 12:33history, most societies believed that it
- 12:36was the mind that creates the brain.
- 12:39The second major difference is that this
- 12:42is a metaphorical
- 12:46world. In other words, they spoke using
- 12:49metaphors. They understood the world
- 12:52through metaphors.
- 12:54Today, we live in a literal world.
- 12:58Okay? What's the difference? Well, the
- 12:59difference is this.
- 13:02Let's just say that you and I fight.
- 13:04Well, we would say that okay, what
- 13:06happened was that
- 13:08um I became angry.
- 13:11The emotion overwhelmed me, and then I
- 13:13hit him, then he got angry, then he hit
- 13:16me back, okay? This is a literal
- 13:17interpretation. But back then, the
- 13:20metaphorical understanding was that
- 13:23anger is a god who seized me and who
- 13:26propelled me into the fight. And then
- 13:28anger unleashed the god of vengeance who
- 13:32fought back by seizing the other person
- 13:34to fight me back, okay?
- 13:35So, we believed for most of of human
- 13:38history that we were controlled by
- 13:39forces outside our control.
- 13:42Now,
- 13:43today, you may believe that the literal
- 13:46world makes more sense, but if you think
- 13:48about it,
- 13:50from the perspective of human thought,
- 13:53okay? How do you understand the world?
- 13:55How do you um interpret what goes on in
- 13:58the world? The metaphorical
- 13:59understanding is actually much more
- 14:01useful. And that's why, and and I know
- 14:04this is hard for you guys to understand,
- 14:06back then, they were much more creative
- 14:10than we are today.
- 14:13Okay?
- 14:15And also, the things that they were able
- 14:17to do
- 14:18are beyond our imagination. So, for
- 14:21example, we've never really figured out
- 14:22how the Egyptians created the pyramids.
- 14:25Okay? For our explanation is aliens did
- 14:27it. Because their mind is beyond our
- 14:32imagination.
- 14:33Okay? So, that's the that shows you
- 14:36the switch. Now, when we when we when we
- 14:38go to the polytheistic
- 14:40um
- 14:41world, this system still continues, but
- 14:44they add more elements to make it more
- 14:46complex, okay? So, the first element is
- 14:51they believe that we are controlled by
- 14:52God. We are the playthings of gods. Now,
- 14:56what's really important to understand is
- 14:58that these gods, Zeus, Apollo, Ares,
- 15:02they're no different from
- 15:04mortals. The only difference is they
- 15:06just live forever.
- 15:08Okay?
- 15:09So, for example,
- 15:12if you are a king,
- 15:14what do you like to do? Well, you like
- 15:16to go around and chase young girls
- 15:17around, okay?
- 15:19What does Zeus do all day?
- 15:21What does Apollo do all day?
- 15:23These gods, all they do is go around and
- 15:25chase young girls around.
- 15:27Okay? So, there's actually no
- 15:28difference.
- 15:31Above the gods are the older gods,
- 15:34fortune,
- 15:36fate. So, the belief was that even
- 15:39though these are gods, they're still
- 15:40controlled by forces beyond their
- 15:42understanding understanding like fortune
- 15:44and fate.
- 15:46What mattered in this world was not to
- 15:48be good,
- 15:49what mattered in this world is to be
- 15:51lucky, okay? To be fortunate. Because
- 15:54that showed you that that the gods
- 15:55favored you.
- 15:57And the last element, the most important
- 15:59element, is the unwritten
- 16:03and immutable
- 16:06laws
- 16:08of the universe.
- 16:10Okay? So, a concept like justice.
- 16:14So, think of gravity, how gravity gives
- 16:17structure to the universe, right? Well,
- 16:20back then they believed the same thing
- 16:21where at the at the at the most
- 16:23fundamental level, there were concepts
- 16:25that existed like justice.
- 16:28And if you you could have the favor of
- 16:30the gods,
- 16:31and you could be very lucky, but if you
- 16:33did things that were unjust, then
- 16:35eventually you would be punished
- 16:37for it because you're breaking the
- 16:39structure of the universe.
- 16:40Okay? So,
- 16:43this was the polytheistic worldview.
- 16:45Now, when you go to the monotheistic
- 16:46worldview,
- 16:48all this changes because now you have a
- 16:49new concept that never existed in human
- 16:51history before called one true God.
- 16:56And this changes everything, okay?
- 16:58Because before as you can see, humans
- 17:01thought in a very complex,
- 17:03sophisticated,
- 17:05diverse, imaginative way about the
- 17:07world. But now with the with the advent
- 17:09of Christianity, it's only one true God.
- 17:11And as such, you have three new concepts
- 17:14that become dominant in this world.
- 17:16These These concepts have existed
- 17:18before, but now they're dominant. The
- 17:20first concept is the idea of truth.
- 17:25Okay? If there's one true God, then
- 17:27there must be one truth to the universe.
- 17:31And so, when we move towards the truth,
- 17:35that is good, right? But when we move
- 17:37towards when we move away from the
- 17:40truth, that is evil.
- 17:43So, now you have a new concept called
- 17:45evil that that that didn't really exist
- 17:47before.
- 17:49Okay? You did good things because in
- 17:51this world, it was to your advantage.
- 17:54Now, in this world, if you defy God,
- 17:58that is evil.
- 18:00Okay? And now with truth and evil,
- 18:03you have a new concept called the
- 18:05individual.
- 18:10Before in this world, what mattered was
- 18:11your family, your community, your
- 18:13society, the people around you. Now,
- 18:16with the advent of one true God, the
- 18:19community the family doesn't matter.
- 18:20What mattered is your loyalty,
- 18:24your faith in the one true God. So, you
- 18:26can actually step outside your community
- 18:29and just do what you believe is right as
- 18:31long as you have faith in the one true
- 18:32God.
- 18:34All right?
- 18:35Okay? So,
- 18:40this three concepts, truth, evil,
- 18:43individual, are important for you to
- 18:44remember because they underpin
- 18:47modernity. These three concepts, once
- 18:50they grow to a certain extent, they will
- 18:53create modernity, the world we live in.
- 18:56Okay? Our world is controlled by these
- 18:58three
- 18:59forces.
- 19:01Now, what's important for us to
- 19:03understand is these three concepts are
- 19:06beyond the human intuition.
- 19:10You cannot logically by yourself deduce
- 19:15or come up with these three concepts.
- 19:18This world of the mother goddess, it's
- 19:19intuitive.
- 19:21Okay? This polytheistic world is also
- 19:23intuitive, but the Christian world now
- 19:24is counterintuitive.
- 19:27Okay?
- 19:29So, as a result, um for monotheism to
- 19:33triumph because it's so counter
- 19:35counterintuitive, it must now destroy
- 19:38the polytheistic world.
- 19:41Okay? So, the Romans
- 19:44spent a lot of time, taking centuries
- 19:46and centuries, to destroy the
- 19:48polytheistic world.
- 19:50But the thing is this.
- 19:53You can never ever kill an idea.
- 19:56The idea, if it is being suppressed,
- 19:59just goes underground. Okay? So,
- 20:01remember here in the mother goddess
- 20:03civilization, the main instrument of
- 20:06religious worship are fertility cults
- 20:08run by women.
- 20:10Well, now that
- 20:12war has come and men have taken over
- 20:15from women, what happened is that the
- 20:19women went underground to create new
- 20:22religious organizations called mystery
- 20:24schools.
- 20:27And mystery schools,
- 20:29what they're trying to do is they're
- 20:31trying to maintain the best knowledge
- 20:34and traditions of the mother civilized
- 20:37the mother goddess civilization.
- 20:39Okay? Especially the fact that we come
- 20:42from the mind.
- 20:44We created the universe from our
- 20:46imagination. Okay? That's the main
- 20:48secret that they're trying to maintain.
- 20:51These mystery schools become actually
- 20:53popular among the elite because they
- 20:57offer great sex. Okay? The elite join
- 21:01these mystery clubs as sex clubs,
- 21:03basically.
- 21:04Um
- 21:05Remember, in this civilization,
- 21:07what matter is the womb. So, they
- 21:10develop all sorts of like secret sexual
- 21:14techniques to please the woman to make
- 21:17the woman feel as though she's in
- 21:18harmony with the uh
- 21:22uh universe. In this world the mother
- 21:24goddess, sex is a mechanism to
- 21:27communicate with the universe. To
- 21:29discover the secrets of the universe.
- 21:31And so, they maintain these rituals in
- 21:34the mystery schools. The most powerful
- 21:37people will participate in these mystery
- 21:38schools. They're called mystery schools
- 21:40not because they're secret, but because
- 21:45everyone is sworn to secrecy. So, if you
- 21:48um ever divulge what actually goes in
- 21:51these mystery schools, you'll be
- 21:52punished by death. Okay? You'll be
- 21:53executed by the members.
- 21:56But with the advent of Christianity,
- 21:59these mystery schools now are threat
- 22:01to the empire. Okay? Because these
- 22:04mystery schools are where the elite the
- 22:06local elite hang out. So, now what
- 22:08happens is now they become secret
- 22:11societies.
- 22:15Okay?
- 22:16That's where they come from.
- 22:18Secret societies are an attempt to
- 22:20maintain the secrets of the universe
- 22:24against the advent of Christianity and
- 22:26empire.
- 22:28And secret societies have been around
- 22:30for long, long time. You may have heard
- 22:33of certain secret societies like the
- 22:34Knights Templars, Rosicrucians,
- 22:37Illuminati the Illum- Illuminati, the
- 22:41Freemasons. Okay? They're all very
- 22:42powerful. They're still around. Yes, I
- 22:45understand that. But what I'm saying is
- 22:47there are a lot more secret societies
- 22:49that we do not know about and have been
- 22:50around for much longer. Okay? But
- 22:53they're all trying to maintain the
- 22:55secret of the universe, which is that
- 22:57mind leads to matter. That's the great
- 23:00secret of the universe. And this is
- 23:01something that we've always believed and
- 23:03always known, but with the advent of
- 23:05Christianity,
- 23:07this has been become suppressed over
- 23:10time.
- 23:11All right?
- 23:13So, any questions before I move on?
- 23:16Okay. So, now what what I will do is
- 23:19I'm may I'm going to explain to you
- 23:21Christianity.
- 23:23And I'll explain to you what these
- 23:24secret societies believe. Okay? I've
- 23:26I've I've already explained to you where
- 23:27they come from, but now what I will do
- 23:29is explain to you what they actually
- 23:31believe about the universe.
- 23:40Okay.
- 23:42So, what I'm going to do is first thing
- 23:44I'm going to do is explain to you
- 23:46what most Christians believe about the
- 23:49religion. Okay? This is called the
- 23:51orthodox
- 23:53or the canonical
- 23:55perspective.
- 23:58Okay? So, this is what you're taught
- 23:59officially by the church.
- 24:03Christianity has many different
- 24:04factions, but they all they believe in a
- 24:06certain interpretation of the Bible.
- 24:08Okay? Then what what I'm going to do is
- 24:10I'm going to show you the apocryphal
- 24:13apocryphal Apocryphal which just means
- 24:15hidden, okay? Or secret or esoteric.
- 24:19Just a secret
- 24:21knowledge that is kept within these
- 24:24secret secret societies.
- 24:25All right.
- 24:26So, the orthodox canonical comes from a
- 24:29reading of the Bible.
- 24:32And the Bible at its core is a story of
- 24:36the covenant between God and humans.
- 24:38Okay? Covenant. Covenant means contract
- 24:42or understanding.
- 24:44So, throughout
- 24:47the Bible,
- 24:49there are a series of covenants. Okay?
- 24:51The first covenant is between Adam
- 24:55and God. So, you may have heard of the
- 24:58story of the Garden of Eden, right?
- 25:00God creates the universe, then creates
- 25:03the Garden of Eden where he puts Adam
- 25:05and Eve. And God says to Adam and Eve,
- 25:08"This is paradise. You don't have to
- 25:10work. Just enjoy life. The food is free.
- 25:14The food is plentiful.
- 25:17Every day you'll be happy and free of
- 25:20um want. You will live forever.
- 25:24But there's only one thing that you must
- 25:25not do. And only one thing. Okay?
- 25:27Whatever you do, do not eat
- 25:30from
- 25:31the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
- 25:34Just don't do that and you'll be okay."
- 25:36So, of course what do Adam and Eve do?
- 25:38They eat the stupid fruit. Okay? So,
- 25:41then what God does is he banishes Adam
- 25:44and Eve from the Garden of Eden and now
- 25:49they're forced to work
- 25:51to to grow food to feed themselves.
- 25:53Okay? And this leads to
- 25:56um society. Okay? Development of
- 25:58society.
- 25:59God looks down from
- 26:02uh the heavens and sees that humans now
- 26:04are going to war.
- 26:06They are fighting their private
- 26:08property. And God says, "I don't want
- 26:11this crap. This is not why I created
- 26:12humans. Okay?" So, he's like, "You know
- 26:14what? I'm going to I'm I'm going to
- 26:15destroy everyone and start over." But
- 26:17then he sees a human that he likes named
- 26:19Noah.
- 26:20And this leads to
- 26:23God saying to Noah, "Build a ship. Build
- 26:26an ark and save yourself because I will
- 26:28flood the universe. I will destroy the
- 26:30world." So, God God destroys the world
- 26:33and Noah lives. And then God says to
- 26:35Noah, "You know what? That's kind of
- 26:37silly. I shouldn't have destroyed the
- 26:39universe. I promise never ever destroy
- 26:42the world again." Okay? That is his
- 26:44covenant with Noah.
- 26:46But God sees that humans are still
- 26:50wicked and evil. He says, "You know
- 26:52what? I need to find a man who is good.
- 26:57And I I need him to grow a nation
- 27:00that can be the light of the world. That
- 27:03will be the best example of what it
- 27:06means to be a good person." So, he finds
- 27:08a man named Abraham. And Abraham, of
- 27:10course, is the father of a nation called
- 27:13Israel.
- 27:16And so, this is the third covenant.
- 27:19God says to Abraham, "You and your
- 27:22children and your
- 27:24uh grandchildren and your
- 27:26great-grandchildren are now loyal to me.
- 27:29I see you as the chosen people and I
- 27:31give you the promised land." Okay?
- 27:33That's what Israel is, a promised land.
- 27:36Over time what happens is that Abraham
- 27:40and his people they go off to Egypt.
- 27:42And in Egypt they become slaves to the
- 27:45pharaoh of Egypt. And then God is like,
- 27:49"You know what? I should check up on the
- 27:50Israelites and see how they're doing."
- 27:52He looks down and says, "Oops. They're
- 27:53now slaves to the pharaoh. So, I I need
- 27:55now to fix this. Okay?" So, he appoints
- 27:57a man named Moses
- 28:00to free the Israelites from Egypt and
- 28:03take them back to the promised land.
- 28:06When Moses does this, God says, "Now
- 28:09what you must do is give the Israelites
- 28:11my law, the Ten Commandments."
- 28:14Okay? The law. Because otherwise, I
- 28:17can't trust you guys to behave.
- 28:20Okay? So, now this is the fourth
- 28:22covenant.
- 28:24So, now the Israelites are back in the
- 28:25promised land, but again,
- 28:28and even though there's laws, they still
- 28:32become wicked and they start to worship
- 28:34false gods. So, God punishes them and
- 28:37God is now looking for a good leader of
- 28:39the Israelites. And then finally he
- 28:40finds a person named David
- 28:43who becomes the king of the Israelites
- 28:46and God says to David,
- 28:49"You are the person I've been looking
- 28:51for all eternity. You are the best
- 28:54example of what it means to be a
- 28:56faithful follower of me, Yahweh." Okay?
- 29:00And so, this is something called the
- 29:01Davidic covenant. The Davidic covenant
- 29:03states that God will always favor Israel
- 29:07as the chosen nation. And the house of
- 29:10David will rule Israel forever.
- 29:14Okay?
- 29:15So, guys, quick question here.
- 29:17Who wrote the Bible?
- 29:20Probably this guy. Okay? Right? If you
- 29:23had to guess who wrote the Bible,
- 29:25probably not Moses, probably not
- 29:26Abraham, probably not Noah, probably not
- 29:28Adam, probably this guy. Okay? Because
- 29:30he's saying that all of these five,
- 29:32okay?
- 29:33I am the best.
- 29:35I'm the I'm the person that God loves
- 29:37the most. My family
- 29:39will rule the world because that is
- 29:41God's will. Okay? Now, of course,
- 29:44that that's how it happens. Eventually
- 29:46David has a son named Solomon and these
- 29:50two are considered the two best rulers
- 29:52of Israel. And this is what we call the
- 29:53Davidic Kingdom, okay? The Davidic
- 29:55Kingdom, the golden age of Israel. But
- 29:58after Solomon,
- 29:59the Israelites turn wicked again and
- 30:03then God has to punish them and
- 30:04scattered Israel across the world.
- 30:07Okay?
- 30:09And so, the last covenant is the arrival
- 30:12of Jesus.
- 30:16What Jesus does is that
- 30:20first of all, he reasserts the law
- 30:23of Moses and and say to the Israelite
- 30:25people, remember Moses and his law,
- 30:28because that's what God wants.
- 30:30Then, he sacrifices himself
- 30:33in order to free Israelites of the
- 30:35original sin.
- 30:37Right? Because God's pissed off at
- 30:39people because people
- 30:42ate the fruit.
- 30:44That's the original sin.
- 30:46That's the first crime of disobedience
- 30:48against God. So, by killing himself,
- 30:51Jesus frees humanity of the original
- 30:54sin. He redeems humanity.
- 30:57Okay? The last thing that Jesus does is
- 31:00he creates a new covenant, okay? A new
- 31:03covenant
- 31:05between humanity and God.
- 31:08From now on, because Jesus has freed
- 31:10everyone from the original sin,
- 31:12everyone
- 31:13can now
- 31:15be with God. You don't have to be
- 31:18Israelite, you don't have to follow the
- 31:20Mosaic law, you don't even have to come
- 31:22from the family of David. Anyone and
- 31:26everyone can now
- 31:29love God and God will love that person
- 31:31back, okay? And this, of course, starts
- 31:33Christianity.
- 31:34All right? So, this
- 31:37guys, is called Judaism, what the Jews
- 31:39believe.
- 31:41Okay? And this is all six is what
- 31:43Christians believe, Christianity.
- 31:47All right? The first five covenants are
- 31:48what Jews believe to be true.
- 31:50But they do believe that eventually
- 31:52someone will
- 31:53return to restore the kingdom of David,
- 31:56okay? But not Jesus.
- 31:58Not Jesus.
- 32:00The Christians believe that Jesus is the
- 32:02final prophet.
- 32:04Okay? In fact, Jesus is God himself.
- 32:07That's why it's called Christianity.
- 32:10Because they believe in Jesus Christ.
- 32:12So, this is the entire history of
- 32:14Judaism and Christianity.
- 32:16What they believe, officially.
- 32:18Any questions before I move on?
- 32:21Okay? But now, I just going to
- 32:23understand, if you are a true Christian
- 32:25or you're a true Jew, there are actually
- 32:27lots of issues with this understanding.
- 32:29Okay? The first issue is
- 32:32um
- 32:33why did God have to kick us out of the
- 32:36Garden of Eden?
- 32:38I mean, was eating a fruit so bad as to
- 32:42banish us from paradise? Like, what was
- 32:45wrong with eating that fruit, okay?
- 32:47That's a great mystery in the religion.
- 32:49Why did the original sin happen and why
- 32:52was God so angry?
- 32:54Second problem is Noah.
- 32:58I mean, like
- 33:00God destroyed the world because we were
- 33:02wicked, but after he destroyed the
- 33:03world, we were still wicked.
- 33:05So, why did God have to destroy the
- 33:08world in the first place? If he's God,
- 33:10then she then shouldn't he understand
- 33:12how humans are? That wouldn't he
- 33:14understand that destroying the world
- 33:16would just I mean, it doesn't really do
- 33:17anything, okay?
- 33:19So, that's kind of strange.
- 33:22The last problem is Jesus.
- 33:26Um who was Jesus?
- 33:28And why did he have to kill himself?
- 33:30Why did God have to send his only son to
- 33:33die for humanity?
- 33:35Okay? So, if you're new to Christianity,
- 33:37the very idea of Jesus actually doesn't
- 33:39make much sense
- 33:41to you. I grew up in the West, I grew up
- 33:43in a Christian world and it never made
- 33:45sense to me, okay?
- 33:47People told me about great Jesus was,
- 33:48like, okay, the story doesn't make any
- 33:50sense.
- 33:51So, if you're really smart person, there
- 33:53are lots of there are lots of questions
- 33:57about this interpretation of the Bible
- 33:59and these are the three major ones.
- 34:02Okay? So, now what I what I will do now
- 34:04is I'll explain to you what the esoteric
- 34:09what secret societies believe really
- 34:11happened.
- 34:14Okay? So,
- 34:16I want to start with Noah.
- 34:18Why did God destroy the world? The
- 34:21reason why God destroyed the world is
- 34:23not because of humans, but because of
- 34:25something else. These people are called
- 34:26the Nephilim, Nephilim.
- 34:31Okay, um also, by by the way, um if you
- 34:34guys are interested in learning more,
- 34:35there are two books that are not part of
- 34:38the Bible, but which will give you
- 34:41insight into the esoteric knowledge,
- 34:43okay? The first is called the Book of
- 34:45Enoch.
- 34:46Book of Enoch.
- 34:48The second is called
- 34:51the Gospel of Thomas.
- 34:54Okay? All right. So, I am using these
- 34:56two books as sources for my explanation,
- 34:59okay? So, the Nephilim
- 35:01are
- 35:04children
- 35:06of
- 35:07angels and women. Okay? So, what
- 35:10happened was that
- 35:12um the angels were supposed to watch
- 35:14humanity
- 35:15came down and saw, wow, these human
- 35:19humans, these females are really
- 35:21beautiful. So, what do they do? Well,
- 35:23they have sex with them.
- 35:24All right? And then what happens? They
- 35:26have lots and lots of children. And what
- 35:27do these children do? These children
- 35:29enslave humanity. These These people are
- 35:31called the Nephilim, okay? So, if you if
- 35:33you want to understand what happened,
- 35:35let's do a thought experiment. Let's
- 35:36just say that
- 35:37there's this group of superhumans called
- 35:39the Avengers. You know, Spider-Man, Iron
- 35:43Man, Captain America, Thor, okay? And
- 35:47they fight Thanos and they save the
- 35:48world. And now what do they do? Well,
- 35:50they're bored, so they start to have
- 35:52lots and lots of sex. They have lots and
- 35:53lots of children and these children now
- 35:55are like demigods, right? So, what do
- 35:57they do? Well, they enslave humanity,
- 36:01but then what do they do? Well, they
- 36:02start fighting amongst themselves, okay?
- 36:03So, that's basically what happened.
- 36:05So, God had to destroy
- 36:07the Nephilim because
- 36:10they are not natural.
- 36:12Angels and humans are not supposed to
- 36:14have sex with each other and like this
- 36:15creates a new
- 36:17um power called the Nephilim. The
- 36:19problem though is the Nephilim are
- 36:21divine and therefore they cannot be
- 36:23killed.
- 36:24So, you can kill with their mortal
- 36:25bodies, but now they become
- 36:28demons
- 36:30who live underground and are in the
- 36:32shadows.
- 36:34And guess what, guys? They're still here
- 36:37today.
- 36:38So, these esoteric societies, they
- 36:39believe the Nephilim are real and they
- 36:41still control the world. The richest
- 36:44people in the world
- 36:45are actually
- 36:47Nephilim.
- 36:49Okay?
- 36:50Because they've been around for
- 36:51thousands of years and therefore they're
- 36:53able to control the development of
- 36:56humanity. Okay? So, they're called the
- 36:57Nephilim. So, that's easy to understand.
- 37:00But now the question then is, wait a
- 37:02minute, why did Adam eat that apple that
- 37:04fruit and why did Jesus have to kill
- 37:05himself? Well, now it gets really
- 37:07complicated, okay? So, now I need I need
- 37:10to explain to you what the secret
- 37:12societies believe, okay? Remember, they
- 37:13believe that mind leads to matter. What
- 37:16does that mean? Okay? Let me explain
- 37:18what this means, mind leads to matter.
- 37:20In the beginning,
- 37:23the true God is called the Monad.
- 37:26Okay? The one.
- 37:28So, just think think of this as the core
- 37:30of the universe, the sun, the divine
- 37:32sun.
- 37:33The Monad is so powerful that when he
- 37:34breathes, okay?
- 37:39He vibrates divine energy. And over
- 37:42millions of years, this divine energy
- 37:44creates new life forms. Okay? So, the
- 37:46first life form I'll call the Dyads.
- 37:49Dyads are just
- 37:50pairs, okay? Usually male, female that
- 37:54are children of the Monad and they're
- 37:57able by themselves to create new
- 38:00universes as well, okay? So, the Dyads
- 38:02start to emanate, emanate, emanate,
- 38:03emanate, emanate, emanate, okay? So, so
- 38:06the entire universe is vibration, it's
- 38:08vibrational energy, it's it's the
- 38:10breathing of these cosmic beings.
- 38:13Okay? And over time, over millions of
- 38:16years, these vibrations become atoms,
- 38:21which then leads to matter, okay? That's
- 38:22what they mean by mind leads to matter.
- 38:27Now, one of these Dyads
- 38:30named Sophia
- 38:32decides, you know what?
- 38:35I can be just as good as the Monad. What
- 38:37does the Monad do? The Monad is able to
- 38:40propagate by itself, by himself. He
- 38:43doesn't need to mate. So, Sophia Sophia
- 38:45says,
- 38:46you know what? I'm going to produce
- 38:48something by myself. I'm going to have a
- 38:49child by myself to prove I am the Monad,
- 38:51okay? So, she does this and she creates
- 38:54a new being, okay? A new being. Which is
- 38:57called the Demiurge. There are different
- 38:59names, we'll call him the Demiurge.
- 39:01The Demiurge is a monster, a
- 39:03monstrosity,
- 39:05because it goes against the natural
- 39:06order. Then Sophia is like, oops, I
- 39:08shouldn't have done that. So, so what
- 39:10does she do? She abandons the
- 39:13monstrosity. She throws him away and
- 39:16hides him in a sea of clouds. So, no one
- 39:19knows he actually exists.
- 39:21Okay? Even the Demiurge doesn't know he
- 39:23exists.
- 39:24The Demiurge does not know about this
- 39:26world, right? Therefore, he believes
- 39:29that he must be the one true God
- 39:32capable of creating new life. So, what
- 39:35does he create?
- 39:37Us.
- 39:38Okay? He creates the planet Earth.
- 39:43And then he and then
- 39:45he creates Adam and Eve.
- 39:49Okay? That's what a monster would do,
- 39:51okay? Look at this history. What kind of
- 39:53God would kick someone out of paradise
- 39:56for eating a fruit? A monster would do
- 39:58it, right? What kind of God would kill a
- 40:02people for no particular reason? A
- 40:04monster would do that.
- 40:06Okay? What kind of God would demand that
- 40:09a that a people be loyal to that person?
- 40:12A monster.
- 40:15What kind of God would enforce his will
- 40:19on a people?
- 40:20A monster.
- 40:22What kind of God would say to someone,
- 40:24"You're the one person I like, everyone
- 40:25else I hate." A monster would do that.
- 40:28Okay? So, in other words, the true
- 40:30secret
- 40:32that these secret societies are trying
- 40:33to keep is the God we worship today is
- 40:35the false God.
- 40:37It's the And we are actually in a prison
- 40:40created by this false God.
- 40:42And that's who Jesus was. Jesus was a
- 40:45cosmic being sent by the monad to tell
- 40:48us the truth about the world. And that's
- 40:50why he died, because the Roman Empire
- 40:54could not allow
- 40:56people to see the truth. If I told you
- 40:58the truth, you would know it right away.
- 40:59You would wake up.
- 41:01Therefore, the truth tellers must be
- 41:03killed.
- 41:05Okay? So, that's what these secret
- 41:06societies believe. They believe that
- 41:09the monad exists and the mind of the
- 41:11monad is what creates creates the
- 41:13universe.
- 41:17And Jesus was sent to remind us that
- 41:20even though we're in a prison, there's
- 41:22still the monad in you. There's a spark
- 41:24in you, a divine light in you that you
- 41:27can activate.
- 41:28And if you activate it, then you will
- 41:30return to the monad. You will see the
- 41:32truth for yourself.
- 41:34And when you die, your soul, which is
- 41:37part of the monad, will want to return
- 41:39to the monad and escape this world. But
- 41:42to activate this light,
- 41:44you must be a good person. You must love
- 41:46one another. You must reject money and
- 41:50materialism and grades, okay? Grades
- 41:53in school.
- 41:54You must reject competition. You must
- 41:56reject
- 41:57material wealth
- 42:00in order to pursue spiritual happiness.
- 42:03Okay? That was the message of Jesus.
- 42:05Now, you can imagine that
- 42:08the powers that be,
- 42:10the Nephilim, would not like this, okay?
- 42:13It's a threat threat to Nephilim who now
- 42:16control the prison created by the
- 42:19demiurge. It's also a threat threat to
- 42:21the demiurge. And that's why
- 42:24these secret societies have been
- 42:27over the centuries been repressed, been
- 42:29executed. Okay? Been massacred. But they
- 42:32believe that it is their duty to protect
- 42:35this secret, because only by protecting
- 42:38this secret can humanity be ultimately
- 42:40saved.
- 42:43Right?
- 42:45Does that make sense?
- 42:46Okay? Any any questions?
- 42:49Right? So, you have the official
- 42:51version, which is what you're taught in
- 42:52school, but now you have the secret
- 42:54version that is only taught in secret
- 42:56societies.
- 42:59The other thing about these secret
- 43:00societies that's really important is
- 43:03they believe that most of us cannot
- 43:05accept the truth. If I told you this,
- 43:07you'd think I'm crazy and report me to
- 43:09the police.
- 43:10Okay? Therefore, they can only wait for
- 43:13people to wake up by themselves and
- 43:15approach them. And if if you approach
- 43:17them, then they will test you
- 43:20and then they will reveal the secret of
- 43:21the universe to you.
- 43:23Okay? And that's why these secret
- 43:24societies
- 43:25were founded and that's why they've been
- 43:27so persistent and so successful over the
- 43:32centuries.
- 43:33Right?
- 43:34So,
- 43:36now the question is, okay, this is a
- 43:38great theory, but how do we know it's
- 43:42true or not? How do we know that this is
- 43:45actually what they really
- 43:47thought?
- 43:48Well, we know because
- 43:52in poetry,
- 43:54in literature,
- 43:55the members of these secret societies
- 43:57have embedded the secret within the
- 44:00poetry. So, if you're able to analyze
- 44:02the poetry properly,
- 44:05you will see for yourself that this is
- 44:08true. Okay? So, what we're going to do
- 44:10is we will study
- 44:13today the greatest poem in English
- 44:15language called Paradise Lost by John
- 44:17Milton, who was who actually was a
- 44:20member of these secret societies.
- 44:23Okay?
- 44:31Any questions be be be before I um
- 44:33continue?
- 44:49Okay.
- 44:51Okay. We're we're we're we're we're
- 44:52going to be doing Paradise Lost, okay?
- 44:59Are we clear?
- 45:01Any questions? Yeah, there's there's
- 45:02there's a question here.
- 45:04Um if all of these are from the false
- 45:08God, do we have a like true God? Like do
- 45:11we? Or like is just a
- 45:12thing? Okay. Yeah. So, in this system,
- 45:16the monad is the true God.
- 45:19Okay?
- 45:20And the question then is
- 45:22why doesn't the monad interfere?
- 45:25Why doesn't the monad stop the demiurge
- 45:27from imprisoning us and making our lives
- 45:29hell?
- 45:31And
- 45:32um
- 45:33there are two explanations for why this
- 45:35is happening.
- 45:37Okay? The first ex- explanation
- 45:39is that the monad does not interfere in
- 45:44material affairs.
- 45:46Okay? Because the monad is all it's all
- 45:48mind.
- 45:51And also, we have the capacity to reject
- 45:55this world and return to the monad.
- 45:58Right? So, why would he force us
- 46:01to
- 46:03um
- 46:04do what we don't want to do?
- 46:06Okay? If you want to return to him, then
- 46:08you have the choice to engage in
- 46:10spirituality,
- 46:11to engage in goodness,
- 46:14to engage in knowledge, and then you'll
- 46:15be able to return to him, okay? That's
- 46:17the first explanation. Second ex-
- 46:18explanation is that
- 46:21and this comes from Dante, okay?
- 46:24The monad is a force that is eternal,
- 46:29perfect, and immutable. And therefore,
- 46:32the monad has no imagination.
- 46:35But how do you grow as a being? You grow
- 46:38through the imagination.
- 46:41So, in order for the monad to continue
- 46:43continue to grow,
- 46:45the monad
- 46:47allowed for the demiurge to create human
- 46:49beings.
- 46:50Because as human beings, we are flawed,
- 46:54we make mistakes, we commit evil. But by
- 46:57committing evil, by
- 47:00making mistakes, we expand the
- 47:02imagination of the universe.
- 47:05Okay? Which allows the monad to to
- 47:07expand, okay? So, in this perspective
- 47:11Sorry Sorry, in this perspective,
- 47:16what is happening
- 47:19is that
- 47:26each time we imagine,
- 47:30we return to the monad.
- 47:32Okay? So, so um it's hard to understand,
- 47:35but the monad it's there, it's eternal,
- 47:38but it's also becoming. It's also
- 47:40moving.
- 47:41And so, when we imagine things, when we
- 47:43commit mistakes, but at the same time,
- 47:45when we recognize these these mistakes
- 47:47and
- 47:48um try to adjust for these mistakes, we
- 47:51expand the imagination of the monad. And
- 47:54that's why these secret societies
- 47:56believe that evil and good exist
- 47:58together. You can only be good if you do
- 48:01evil.
- 48:02Okay? Because e- by committing evil, it
- 48:05gives you a chance to become better.
- 48:08Okay? Does that make sense?
- 48:10All right.
- 48:13All right. So, we're doing Paradise
- 48:14Lost.
- 48:18All right.
- 48:20This is
- 48:22um the national epic of the British
- 48:25Empire.
- 48:26If you are a member of the British
- 48:27Empire, which rules the world today, the
- 48:28Anglo-American Empire, it rules the
- 48:30world today, if you are an elite member
- 48:32of the British uh Empire, you memorize
- 48:34this poem, okay? And it becomes part of
- 48:37your soul, basically. And it's
- 48:39it's beautiful, okay? So, this was
- 48:41written by a man named John Milton.
- 48:44And John Milton,
- 48:46he was a rebel. He was a free thinker.
- 48:50He want he questioned the world. He
- 48:53thought for himself. And he was a
- 48:55passionate advocate of free speech.
- 48:59He was a man who wrote Paradise Lost.
- 49:01And he wrote it when he was blind.
- 49:05He could not see.
- 49:06Therefore, he had to speak it out and
- 49:08his secretaries had to write it down for
- 49:10him. As you can see,
- 49:13well, if a blind man is able to recite
- 49:16poetry, you must think he is a prophet.
- 49:19He's a messenger of God. What he is
- 49:22revealing to you is divine truth. Okay?
- 49:26All right.
- 49:28So,
- 49:29John Milton,
- 49:31and his most famous work is called
- 49:34Paradise Lost.
- 49:35And for Paradise Lost is a foundational
- 49:38text of many secret societies. They read
- 49:41this, they discuss this, they worship
- 49:43this text. And within this text lies the
- 49:46secrets of the universe.
- 49:48Okay?
- 49:49And but only, okay, this is this is
- 49:51really
- 49:52uh hard, but only you understand the
- 49:54secret secret yourself can you see the
- 49:56secrets it embedded in Paradise Lost.
- 50:00Okay?
- 50:02All right. So, what we're going to do is
- 50:04we will read two speeches by Satan. The
- 50:07plot of Paradise Lost is really really
- 50:09simple. It's trying to reimagine
- 50:13the fall of man. Remember Adam and Eve
- 50:15in the Garden of Eden,
- 50:17then they eat that fruit and God
- 50:19banishes them. Okay? So, Milton is
- 50:22trying to tell the story again. And he
- 50:24imagines a serpent who tricks Eve into
- 50:28eating the fruit as Satan himself. And
- 50:30Satan was God's uh favorite angel. They
- 50:34had a fight out. Satan rebelled against
- 50:36God. God won the war and Satan and the
- 50:39devils are now banished to hell. And
- 50:42Paradise Lost begins with the devils
- 50:45discussing what to do. They've lost this
- 50:48war against God. They will never ever
- 50:50defeat God.
- 50:51Now they're stuck in hell. So, now what
- 50:54do they do? Some propose that, you know
- 50:56what? Let's go to Let's just create an
- 50:57empire.
- 50:59Okay? Some are like, you know what?
- 51:00Let's just sit back and enjoy life.
- 51:02Okay? But Satan is determined to seek
- 51:05vengeance against God. And so, what he
- 51:07wants to do is go to the Garden of Eden
- 51:10and corrupt Adam and Eve and destroy
- 51:13humanity forever.
- 51:15Okay? So, they all agree this is a great
- 51:18plan. But now the question then is,
- 51:19who's going to go? Because it's
- 51:21dangerous, right? Because you're
- 51:22escaping hell, there are angels guarding
- 51:24hell, but even if you leave hell, you go
- 51:26into the abyss. You go into space,
- 51:28right? You don't even You don't even
- 51:29know where Earth is. You you get lost
- 51:32for all of eternity. So, no one wants to
- 51:33go.
- 51:35So, at this time
- 51:36when no one wants to go,
- 51:38Satan steps up and says, "I will go."
- 51:41Okay? And this is his speech.
- 51:43"O progeny of heaven, imperial thrones,
- 51:46with reason have deep silence and demur
- 51:49seized us. Though undismayed, okay? I
- 51:52know you guys are scared.
- 51:54All right? Long is the way and hard that
- 51:57out of hell leads up to light. Our
- 51:58prison strong, this huge convex of fire
- 52:02outrageous to devour immerse us round
- 52:05ninefold and gates of burning adamant
- 52:08barred over us prohibit all egress. This
- 52:10prison is designed to keep us here for
- 52:13all of eternity. It will be hard to
- 52:15escape this prison.
- 52:21These paths, if any paths, the void
- 52:23profound of unessential night receives
- 52:26him next, wide gaping and of other loss
- 52:29of being threatens him plunged in that
- 52:32abortive gulf. If thence he escape into
- 52:35whatever world or unknown region, what
- 52:38remains him less than unknown in dangers
- 52:41and as hard escape.
- 52:43Okay? If you can leave hell, you're
- 52:44still up in the abyss of the universe,
- 52:47right? You're going to be floating there
- 52:48for all of eternity. You don't know
- 52:49where you're going.
- 52:54But I should ill become this throne, O
- 52:56peers, and this imperial sovereignty
- 52:58adorned with splendor, armed with power,
- 53:01if aught proposed and just a public
- 53:03moment in the shape of difficulty or
- 53:05danger could deter me from attempting.
- 53:08Wherefore do I assume these royalties
- 53:11and not refuse to reign, refusing to
- 53:13accept as great a share of hazard as of
- 53:15honor due alike to him who reigned and
- 53:18so much to him do of hazard more as he
- 53:21above the rest. Okay? So, what he's
- 53:22saying here is really simple.
- 53:24I'm your leader and therefore I must go.
- 53:27You have trusted me to lead you for all
- 53:29of eternity and therefore I will risk my
- 53:31entire life
- 53:33to
- 53:35prove my worth.
- 53:40High honor sits. Go therefore, mighty
- 53:42powers, terror of heaven, though fallen,
- 53:44intend a home while here shall be our
- 53:46home. What best may ease the present
- 53:49misery and render hell more to
- 53:51more tolerable. If there be cure or
- 53:53charm to respite or deceive or slack the
- 53:56pain of this ill mention, intermit no
- 53:59watch against a wakeful foe while I
- 54:01brought through all the coasts of dark
- 54:04destruction seek deliverance for us all.
- 54:06This enterprise none shall partake with
- 54:08me. I am your leader.
- 54:10I will go by myself. You guys can just
- 54:12sit here and like sip, you know, have
- 54:15some drinks, watch some TV, enjoy
- 54:17yourself. I don't care, okay? I'm your
- 54:19leader. I will go by myself to redeem
- 54:22us, to deliver us from um our torment.
- 54:26Okay? So, as you can see, this is
- 54:28heroic. He is the grand hero.
- 54:32A couple of things I will say about this
- 54:33speech is, number one, what he's
- 54:36describing, and secret societies believe
- 54:38it believe this, is he's describing
- 54:41his
- 54:42ascent from hell
- 54:44as almost
- 54:46uh our souls leaving our bodies
- 54:49to the heavens. Okay? And some secret
- 54:51societies believe that when you die, the
- 54:53first person you meet is Satan. Because
- 54:55it is Satan who knows how to take you
- 54:58from this world, the prison world, to
- 55:00the light. Because he's do- he's done
- 55:02this. Okay? So, Satan is very important
- 55:05part of our journey back to the monad.
- 55:08That's a Also,
- 55:10if you study this
- 55:13um poetry very closely,
- 55:15you study the imagery, he what he's
- 55:17describing almost is a baby leaving the
- 55:20womb, right? Because the baby is a is in
- 55:24the womb, a prison, and then the baby
- 55:27escapes. So, secret societies believe
- 55:29that life and death are the same thing.
- 55:32To be born, you must die.
- 55:36And when you die, you are born again.
- 55:39Okay?
- 55:40All right.
- 55:42The other thing is that
- 55:45these secret societies will use the
- 55:48speech as an initiation ceremony for
- 55:51members.
- 55:52When you join secret society, you must
- 55:54by yourself choose to fight for all of
- 55:58humanity by yourself. You must be the
- 56:00hero.
- 56:02Okay? You must know when you join secret
- 56:03society, people will hunt you. People
- 56:05will want to kill you for speaking the
- 56:07truth. Do you Do you dare to go on this
- 56:10journey?
- 56:11Okay?
- 56:12So, that's the first speech. The second
- 56:14speech is much more important. This is a
- 56:15speech where Satan, the serpent,
- 56:18convinces Eve
- 56:20to eat the fruit.
- 56:21Okay? And this speech is very powerful,
- 56:26okay? So, I'm going to read really fast
- 56:28and then explain to you what it means.
- 56:30"O sacred, wise, and wisdom-giving
- 56:32plant, mother of science, now I feel thy
- 56:34power within me clear, not only to
- 56:36discern things in their causes, but to
- 56:39trace the ways of highest agents deemed
- 56:41ever wise." Eve is talking to the
- 56:43serpent and Eve is is is of course like,
- 56:46"Hey, what can you speak?"
- 56:48And the serpent says, "Because I ate
- 56:49that fruit from the knowledge of good
- 56:51and evil. It gives you power, okay?" So,
- 56:54the serpent now wants to convince Eve to
- 56:56eat that fruit. So, he invokes the power
- 56:59of the tree, right? "O sacred tree, give
- 57:02me the power to speak so well that I can
- 57:04convince Eve to do the impossible."
- 57:08"Queen of this universe, do not believe
- 57:11those rigid threats of death. You shall
- 57:13not die. How should ye? But the fruit it
- 57:15gives you life unto knowledge. But the
- 57:17threatener, look on me, me who have
- 57:19touched and tasted yet both live." Okay?
- 57:22So, God has warned Eve Adam and Eve, "If
- 57:24you eat this fruit, you will die."
- 57:26And the serpent is saying, "No, that's
- 57:28not true. Look at me. I ate the fruit
- 57:29and I'm still alive."
- 57:33"And life more perfect have attained
- 57:35than fate meant me by venturing higher
- 57:37than my lot. Shall that be shut to man
- 57:39which to beast is open? Or will God
- 57:41incense his ire for such a petty
- 57:43trespass and not praise rather your
- 57:46darkness virtue?"
- 57:48What he's saying saying here is really
- 57:49important. If he is a true God,
- 57:52he will reward you for your risk-taking.
- 57:55Right? He said the fruit will kill you
- 57:59as a test.
- 58:01A true God will want you to become
- 58:02better and better. And you can only do
- 58:04that by transgressing, by making
- 58:06mistakes, by disobeying authority.
- 58:10And And a true God would reward you for
- 58:14seeking more knowledge.
- 58:19"Whom the pain of death denounced,
- 58:20whatever thing death be, deter not from
- 58:23achieving what might lead to happier
- 58:25life, not of good and evil, of good how
- 58:27just, of evil if what is evil be real,
- 58:29why not known since easier shunned?" We
- 58:31can only be good people if we know what
- 58:33evil is.
- 58:35Right? If you don't know if good and
- 58:38evil, then you're just stupid.
- 58:40Okay?
- 58:41It's because you shun away from evil,
- 58:43you ignore evil, you fight evil that
- 58:45you're a good person.
- 58:48"God therefore cannot hurt you and be
- 58:50just, not just not God, nor feared then
- 58:52nor obeyed. Your fear itself of death
- 58:54removes the fear." Okay? So, he's asking
- 58:57himself, "Why would God not allow you to
- 58:59eat that fruit? Why would you all Why
- 59:02would he keep you low and ignorant, his
- 59:04worshipers? He knows that in the day you
- 59:06eat, therefore, your eyes that seem so
- 59:08clear yet are but dim shall perfectly be
- 59:10then open and clear and you shall be as
- 59:12gods."
- 59:14So, what he's saying is this, there's
- 59:15two possibilities, okay? Either God is
- 59:17testing you. God really wants you to
- 59:19disobey him because that will allow you
- 59:21to achieve more virtue and knowledge. Or
- 59:24God is enslaving you and keeping you
- 59:26ignorant because God is afraid that you
- 59:29might become God himself.
- 59:32Okay? So, there's two possibilities.
- 59:34All right.
- 59:39What can you not hurt him or this tree
- 59:41impart against his will of all be his?
- 59:43Or is it envy and can envy dwell in
- 59:45heavenly breasts? If he is God, he is in
- 59:48control of everything. He knows
- 59:49everything.
- 59:50Therefore, if you eat this fruit, how
- 59:52could that possibly challenge him?
- 59:54Unless he's a false god. Unless he's
- 59:58tricking you. Unless he is deceiving
- 1:00:01you.
- 1:00:02Unless he's trying to imprison you.
- 1:00:04Okay, that's the only possibility.
- 1:00:06Now,
- 1:00:07this is
- 1:00:09Satan's speech and you and you know, I
- 1:00:11took
- 1:00:12Milton in college. I was an English
- 1:00:13major at Yale and I took in a semester
- 1:00:17of Paradise Lost. And at university I
- 1:00:19was taught that this speech shows you
- 1:00:21how clever and evil Satan is. He's lying
- 1:00:25to Eve. God is invincible, omniscient.
- 1:00:28You can't eat a fruit and become God.
- 1:00:30That's ridiculous. Also, Eve is stupid
- 1:00:33because he she believes him, right?
- 1:00:36That's what you're taught in university.
- 1:00:37That's what you believe.
- 1:00:38But, this is really important. When you
- 1:00:41actually read the Bible,
- 1:00:44Satan is telling the truth.
- 1:00:48What What the Satan's logic is what the
- 1:00:50Bible says. Okay? A professor at Yale
- 1:00:53will tell you that Satan is lying. When
- 1:00:55you actually read the Bible by yourself,
- 1:00:57you will see he's telling the truth. So,
- 1:01:00we're going to read the Bible together,
- 1:01:01okay? This is what the Bible says. This
- 1:01:03is the word of God.
- 1:01:09All right. So, this is Genesis. Now, the
- 1:01:11serpent was more crafty than any other
- 1:01:13wild animal that the Lord God had made.
- 1:01:15He said to the woman, "Did God say you
- 1:01:18shall not eat from any tree in the
- 1:01:19garden?" Okay? So, in the Bible, this
- 1:01:20actually not Satan. It is a serpent.
- 1:01:23The woman said to the serpent, "We may
- 1:01:25not eat of the fruit of the trees in the
- 1:01:27garden, but God said, 'You shall not eat
- 1:01:29of the fruit of the tree that is in the
- 1:01:31middle of the garden, nor shall you
- 1:01:33touch it or you shall die.'" But, the
- 1:01:35serpent said to the woman, "You will not
- 1:01:37die, for God knows that when you eat of
- 1:01:40it, your eyes will be open and you'll be
- 1:01:41more like God, knowing good and evil."
- 1:01:44Okay? So, this is exactly what Satan
- 1:01:46said.
- 1:01:47Okay? And this is what the Bible is
- 1:01:48saying as well.
- 1:01:49Now,
- 1:01:51let's move on. Eventually, God banishes
- 1:01:54Adam and Eve
- 1:01:56for eating the fruit. And you believe
- 1:01:58that
- 1:01:59they were banished because they
- 1:02:00disobeyed God.
- 1:02:01But, if you actually read the Bible,
- 1:02:03that's not what it says.
- 1:02:04For disobeying God, God punishes both
- 1:02:08Adam and Eve. Eve, now, when she gives
- 1:02:11birth, will suffer pain, right? And Adam
- 1:02:15will now have to work hard to grow food.
- 1:02:18That's the punishment. The banishment is
- 1:02:19not the punishment. So, another question
- 1:02:21then is, why were they banished? Again,
- 1:02:23let's read the Bible, okay?
- 1:02:27So, the woman saw saw
- 1:02:30that the tree was good for food and that
- 1:02:32it was a delight to the eyes and that
- 1:02:33the tree was to be desired to make one
- 1:02:35wise. She took of its fruit and ate. And
- 1:02:37she was also gave some to her husband
- 1:02:39who was with her and she ate. Then the
- 1:02:41eyes of both were opened. Okay? So,
- 1:02:44Satan is telling the truth. You will not
- 1:02:45die. You will learn. You will be become
- 1:02:48higher. Okay? Satan was telling the
- 1:02:49truth.
- 1:02:50All right? So, what So, So, why did God
- 1:02:54kick Adam and Eve out? And the Lord God
- 1:02:56said, "See, the man has become like one
- 1:02:59of us, knowing good and evil. And now he
- 1:03:01might reach out his hand and take also
- 1:03:03from the tree of life and eat and live
- 1:03:04forever." This is why.
- 1:03:07There are two trees. The tree of
- 1:03:08knowledge, which allows you to have the
- 1:03:10mind of God, and the tree of life, which
- 1:03:12you lives allows you to live as long as
- 1:03:14God. What God is saying is this.
- 1:03:16If Adam and Eve eat that
- 1:03:19uh tree that fruit from the knowledge of
- 1:03:21good and evil and then they eat also a
- 1:03:23fruit from the tree of life, they will
- 1:03:24be like us.
- 1:03:26Satan was telling the truth and God was
- 1:03:29lying to Adam and Eve all along.
- 1:03:36Okay?
- 1:03:39So, now the question then is,
- 1:03:42how did Eve know that Satan was telling
- 1:03:45the truth?
- 1:03:47How did she know?
- 1:03:49How?
- 1:03:52Well, the problem is if you tried once
- 1:03:55and you're wrong, you die, right?
- 1:03:58So, how did she know? She was certain
- 1:03:59that Satan was telling the truth.
- 1:04:01She was certain. Yes. He must be telling
- 1:04:04the truth.
- 1:04:06Why?
- 1:04:08The light in us. You understand? The
- 1:04:10true God. The true God still speaks to
- 1:04:13us today.
- 1:04:14Right?
- 1:04:15The false god will lie to us, but inside
- 1:04:18you, in your heart, is the is the light
- 1:04:20that connects you back to the monad. And
- 1:04:22that tells you what is false, what is
- 1:04:25true.
- 1:04:27Okay? That's how she knew.
- 1:04:30All right? So, you guys see Paradise
- 1:04:31Lost is now showing us the lost secrets
- 1:04:35of the universe.
- 1:04:37All right.
- 1:04:38So,
- 1:04:40um
- 1:04:41I'll finish with by talking about the
- 1:04:42Nephilim.
- 1:04:44In the Bible, it says that the Nephilim
- 1:04:47are the children of them from angels and
- 1:04:51women, okay? The when people began to
- 1:04:52multiply on the face of the ground and
- 1:04:54daughters were born to them, the sons of
- 1:04:57God saw that they were fair and they
- 1:04:59took wives for themselves
- 1:05:01of all that they chose. And the Lord
- 1:05:03said, "My spirit shall not abide in
- 1:05:05mortals forever, for they are flesh.
- 1:05:06Their days shall be 120 years." Okay?
- 1:05:09So, now God sees Nephilim as a threat as
- 1:05:11well.
- 1:05:13The Nephilim were on the earth in those
- 1:05:15days and also afterward, when the sons
- 1:05:18of God went into the daughters of humans
- 1:05:20who bore children to them. These were
- 1:05:22the heroes that were of old, warriors of
- 1:05:25renown. Okay?
- 1:05:26This is really important because it
- 1:05:28introduces the Nephilim, which is still
- 1:05:30around today, okay? According to these
- 1:05:31secret societies. But, also, what it's
- 1:05:33doing is this. It's telling us
- 1:05:35the children, the heroes that are of
- 1:05:38old, warriors of renown,
- 1:05:40who are they? They're Hercules, they're
- 1:05:41Achilles, they're Theseus. They're all
- 1:05:44heroes from different mythologies.
- 1:05:46Where do they come from? They come from
- 1:05:49the mating of angels
- 1:05:51and humans. The sons of God, who are
- 1:05:53they? They are the old gods. Zeus, Ares,
- 1:05:57Apollo. Okay? So, this is the beginning
- 1:06:01of monotheism, where the Bible is trying
- 1:06:03to destroy polytheistic mythologies and
- 1:06:06create one universe where the God is
- 1:06:10supreme. Okay? And in this universe,
- 1:06:12Zeus now becomes a son of God.
- 1:06:16And the children that Zeus has with
- 1:06:19mortal women are now called the
- 1:06:21Nephilim. So, Hercules is Nephilim.
- 1:06:25Okay? So, we'll go into this theme
- 1:06:28throughout the semester, where the Bible
- 1:06:30is a tremendous act of propaganda that
- 1:06:32tries to re- re- invent reality around
- 1:06:35one true God.
- 1:06:37Okay? But, by doing that, it's denying
- 1:06:39our intuition and it's denying the
- 1:06:42history of humanity.
- 1:06:45All right. Okay. So, we'll continue this
- 1:06:47theme next class. Any questions before
- 1:06:49we conclude?
- 1:06:50Yes.
- 1:06:52Well, I think nowadays a lot of us would
- 1:06:55pray to God like for getting something
- 1:06:57that we wanted, but as you said, like
- 1:07:00are we playing like praying to the true
- 1:07:02God or the false God? Do we know? Or
- 1:07:05like do do we get to know like from our
- 1:07:07wishes? Yeah. So, that's a that's a
- 1:07:09great question. So,
- 1:07:11um according to these secret societies,
- 1:07:13okay? The truth is that when you pray,
- 1:07:15you're praying to a false god. Where's
- 1:07:17the true God?
- 1:07:19It's inside you.
- 1:07:20Okay? So, don't pray to an outside
- 1:07:23force. Look inside to you and ask
- 1:07:24yourself, "I know for a fact what is
- 1:07:28true.
- 1:07:29If I believe in myself enough, then I
- 1:07:31will find the truth." Okay? And
- 1:07:34actually, that's a theme throughout
- 1:07:36Western poetry and literature.
- 1:07:40The theme is that we will always be in
- 1:07:44conflict with it between the devil and
- 1:07:46God, between good and evil.
- 1:07:48And what we must do is not say like I
- 1:07:52must surrender to God. What we must do
- 1:07:54is believe in ourselves. Make mistakes,
- 1:07:58but know that
- 1:08:00you will eventually find a light because
- 1:08:02the light is in you, okay? As long as
- 1:08:04you still believe in yourself, all this
- 1:08:07all these mistakes you make will become
- 1:08:10your strength because they become part
- 1:08:12of your wisdom. Okay? That's the divine
- 1:08:14truth that these secret societies are
- 1:08:15trying to promote. It's okay to make
- 1:08:18make make mistakes. It's okay to do
- 1:08:20evil,
- 1:08:21but listen to the light and the light
- 1:08:23will tell you how to redeem yourself.
- 1:08:25Okay? The possibility for redemption,
- 1:08:27for growth, for imagination is all in us
- 1:08:30because of our connection to the monad.
- 1:08:32The monad will reward you for believing
- 1:08:34in yourself. But, you must first believe
- 1:08:37in yourself. And believing in yourself
- 1:08:39means often defying authority, making
- 1:08:43mistakes, transgression transgression
- 1:08:45against rules
- 1:08:46of society. Okay? And that's the
- 1:08:48ultimate secret that these secret
- 1:08:50societies are trying to keep.
- 1:08:52All right. Any more questions? That's a
- 1:08:53really good question. Thank you.
- 1:08:56Well,
- 1:09:02well well, the gods
- 1:09:04are usually depicted as uh
- 1:09:07the most beautiful. Then why uh gods
- 1:09:12like Zeus, they will come to
- 1:09:14uh human society and uh give birth um
- 1:09:19with
- 1:09:20um fertilized with the human um
- 1:09:25girls.
- 1:09:27Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay.
- 1:09:29Um, so there So, the question then is,
- 1:09:32why are the angels doing this? Okay?
- 1:09:34There are two explanations. Okay? So,
- 1:09:36the first explanation is these angels
- 1:09:38are created by the false god, right? So,
- 1:09:40they're they're wicked anyway.
- 1:09:42Okay? The second explanation is that
- 1:09:45if you're like a hot-looking woman and
- 1:09:46you see an angel,
- 1:09:49I don't know, man. You know, you're
- 1:09:51probably going to want to marry that
- 1:09:52person. Okay. All right. Anyway, um if
- 1:09:54you're interested in learning more,
- 1:09:56there's a book called The Book of Enoch,
- 1:09:57which goes into detail about the
- 1:09:59Nephilim, okay? But, the Nephilim are
- 1:10:01really important topic throughout the
- 1:10:03semester because
- 1:10:05a lot of secret societies believe in the
- 1:10:06Nephilim. And that's And that's going to
- 1:10:08motivate them before, okay? Now, what
- 1:10:11I've discussed today is how these secret
- 1:10:14societies were born.
- 1:10:15And as you can see,
- 1:10:17um they started off as a noble mission.
- 1:10:20But, then the question then is like, how
- 1:10:21did they become corrupted over time?
- 1:10:23Well, that's something I will discuss
- 1:10:24later on, okay? All right. So, I'll see
- 1:10:26you guys next class.
