- 0:00is it your intention to always tell the
- 0:02truth from that Podium and will you
- 0:05pledge never to knowingly say something
- 0:07that is not factual it is it's an honor
- 0:10to do this and uh yes I believe that we
- 0:14have to be honest with the American
- 0:15people I think sometimes we can disagree
- 0:17with the facts there are certain things
- 0:19that um we may miss we may not fully
- 0:22understand when we come out but our
- 0:23intentions never to lie to you Jonathan
- 0:25we're going to do our best every time we
- 0:27can I'm going to come out here and tell
- 0:28you the facts as I know and if we make a
- 0:30mistake I'll do our best to correct it
- 0:32do you have any corrections that you
- 0:33would like to make or clarifications of
- 0:34what you said Saturday we'll ask away
- 0:36Jonathan well you know I mean just for
- 0:38instance I don't want to get and
- 0:39relitigate the whole issue but like just
- 0:40take one like the issue of Metro
- 0:42ridership you made a statement about and
- 0:44at the time uh the information that was
- 0:46provided by the inaug committee came
- 0:48from an outside agency that we reported
- 0:50on and I think knowing what we know now
- 0:53we can tell that rada's numbers are
- 0:54different um but we were trying to
- 0:56provide numbers that we had been
- 0:58provided uh that wasn't like we made
- 1:00them up out of thin air and do you stand
- 1:01by your statement that that was the most
- 1:03watched inaugural addressing sure it was
- 1:06the most watched inaugural when you look
- 1:07at look you look at just the one network
- 1:11alone got 16.9 million people online
- 1:14another couple of the networks there
- 1:15were tens of million people that watch
- 1:16that online never mind the the the
- 1:19audience that was here 31 million people
- 1:21watched it on television combine that
- 1:23with the tens of millions of people that
- 1:25watched it online on a device there's
- 1:27it's unquestionable I don't I don't and
- 1:30I don't see any numbers that that
- 1:32dispute that when you add up attendance
- 1:34viewership or total audience in terms of
- 1:36tablets phones uh on television I'd love
- 1:40to see any information that proves me
- 1:42proves that otherwise and and
- 1:44then do you dispute that well I I don't
- 1:48want to get into to numbers I I I do I
- 1:50mean okay I'm just saying if you're
- 1:52asking me a question about my Integrity
- 1:54I have a right to say if you add up the
- 1:56the network streaming numbers Facebook
- 1:58YouTube all of the various live
- 2:00streamings that that we have information
- 2:02on so far I don't think there's any
- 2:04question it was that that it was the
- 2:06largest watched inauguration ever more
- 2:09than Ronald Reagan's in 1981 I'm pretty
- 2:11sure that Reagan didn't have YouTube
- 2:14Facebook or the internet yeah I think 41
- 2:17million people watched his 41 million
- 2:20watched his okay so let's just take the
- 2:22neelon ratings which are 31 million and
- 2:24add it to CNN 16.9
- 2:27million that's a little higher
