5. 0:24episode we went through some of the
6. 0:27arguments that Muslims use to show that
7. 0:29there are
8. 0:30scientific miracles in the Quran these
9. 0:32are claims that the Quran contained
10. 0:35scientific knowledge that Muhammad could
11. 0:37not possibly have known and therefore
12. 0:39the only explanation was that it's from
13. 0:42God and yet when you actually go through
14. 0:45the examples that Muslims use over and
15. 0:47over again you see either that's not
16. 0:49what the Quran is saying or it's not
17. 0:51what science says or it's information
18. 0:55that was already widely known or
19. 0:57believed at his time U but another
20. 1:00question that pops up
21. 1:01is if this is if this is going to be
22. 1:05their standard if they're going to make
23. 1:06this their standard scientific accuracy
24. 1:09then are there scientific errors in the
25. 1:12Quran oh definitely definitely even
26. 1:14going back to those stages that we
27. 1:16mentioned um before um for example
28. 1:20mentioning blood as one of the stages I
29. 1:24talked to many doctors they said there
30. 1:26is no stage where the feed is is a blood
31. 1:31clot um talking about anything there is
32. 1:34is is a is a problem when you go to the
33. 1:37Hadi and commentaries it's even worse
34. 1:40it's like how we have male and female
35. 1:44Muhammad is talking about the water of
36. 1:45the men and the water of the woman if
37. 1:48one of them is above the other then it
38. 1:50follows the the the the sex of whichever
39. 1:53so so that was that was also believed
40. 1:56prior to Muhammad it's called the two
41. 1:58Seaman theory that men have SE and they
42. 2:00mix together and then yeah and the
43. 2:02Hadith is whichever one Rises to the top
44. 2:04then and that's clearly a scientific
45. 2:06error but when we go to the Quran for
46. 2:09example in Surah 86 and 6 and
47. 2:137ah it says he was created from a fluid
48. 2:17which means men ejected emerging from
49. 2:20between the backbone and the ribs so so
50. 2:24that's somewhere in this area yeah it
51. 2:25comes back from the backbone and the
52. 2:27ribs between them and then I mean go to
53. 2:31any doctor go to any scientific um paper
54. 2:36and there is nothing like this it's a
55. 2:39scientific error yeah so they'd have to
56. 2:41they'd have to conclude if they wanted
57. 2:42to stick with this argument that one day
58. 2:45scientists are going to discover that
59. 2:46seen actually comes from between the
60. 2:48backbone and ribs and uh everyone else
61. 2:51has been wrong up till up until now and
62. 2:53and and the problem they are trying to
63. 2:56go around it I have seen people trying
64. 2:58to go around it and do you will be like
65. 3:00No And so and so they found and it just
66. 3:03takes you everywhere um and it doesn't
67. 3:06explain it yeah I've seen them I've seen
68. 3:08them actually argue that this is talking
69. 3:10to this is talking about embryological
70. 3:13development when the you know when cells
71. 3:15are moving around in the embryo and
72. 3:17stuff and they the some of the cells
73. 3:19eventually go through here and so on it
74. 3:21doesn't make any sense because in the
75. 3:22Hadith Muhammad says that we were all in
76. 3:24Adam's backbone Adam didn't go through
77. 3:26embryological development God just
78. 3:27created him you know until today
79. 3:30we say Rashid is from Su of Muhammad
80. 3:35he's from the backbone of my dad's name
81. 3:38is Muhammad so he is from the backbone
82. 3:41of Muhammad we say it it's in a common
83. 3:43language because in old days they
84. 3:47thought we are from the
85. 3:50backbone we come from the backbone so
86. 3:53that's why they still mention it in the
87. 3:55language which was wrong knowledge but
88. 3:57the Quran used it as has um a scientific
89. 4:01knowledge and it was wrong yep we can
90. 4:03move to another one though what else are
91. 4:06you're not say you're not saying there
92. 4:07are more errors than that AR I am saying
93. 4:11that uh let's talk about for example the
94. 4:15the Stars my favorite one Shooting Stars
95. 4:18yeah so if Muhammad has miraculous
96. 4:20scientific knowledge then obviously he's
97. 4:22going to know what stars are and he's
98. 4:23not going to mess that up so what what
99. 4:25are what are these shooting stars stars
100. 4:28are just beautiful lamps hanging in the
101. 4:32sky so God can de decorate heaven for us
102. 4:36so when we look we see beautiful um uh
103. 4:40roof or beautiful whatever you can call
104. 4:44it dome that's how actually mentioned
105. 4:47and also he uses stars to as a security
106. 4:52system so whenever um the Satan or the
107. 4:56Jin are listening to God listening to
108. 4:59Angels because they have secrets God
109. 5:02just sends one star and he shoots that's
110. 5:05why you see shooting stars actually they
111. 5:07are they're just shooting one of the
112. 5:09Demons because he tried to listen to God
113. 5:12and that's that's in the Hadith Muhammad
114. 5:13would point this out when he would see a
115. 5:15shooting star you could see a lot more
116. 5:17back then because there wasn't as much
117. 5:18light pollution from lights around you
118. 5:20yeah um but he would see a shooting star
119. 5:22and then he would describe it as a uh as
120. 5:26a demon trying to sneak into heaven and
121. 5:27he would say that God hurled a star um
122. 5:31in Surah mul
123. 5:33675 and we have certainly beautified the
124. 5:37nearest Heaven because there are seven
125. 5:39Heavens so the nearest one is beautified
126. 5:42with lamps stars and have made from them
127. 5:47what is thrown at the Devils actually
128. 5:50translation just trying to play around
129. 5:53made from them actually we shoot the
130. 5:56devil with them mhm and and always my
131. 5:59question was is this a scientific thing
132. 6:03we know now what shooting stars are yeah
133. 6:07and they're not stars and they are not
134. 6:09it's it's a big it's a big rock hitting
135. 6:11the atmosphere it's not an actual star
136. 6:13uh let me go ahead and let me go ahead
137. 6:14and read two passages here one you just
138. 6:16read because this one you said they're
139. 6:18playing around with the translation

141. 6:22says and indeed we have adorned the
142. 6:24nearest heaven with lamps and we have
143. 6:26made such lamps missiles to drive away
144. 6:30the devils and we have prepared for them
145. 6:33the torment of the Blazing fire what's
146. 6:35interesting is uh in another passage
147. 6:37here so this is Surah
148. 6:4037:
149. 6:426-10 yes um the the the Fire doesn't
150. 6:45even seem to be like fire at judgment it
151. 6:47seems to be the fire of like a a
152. 6:49shooting star star let me read this uh
153. 6:52so Sora 376 to10 verily we have adorned
154. 6:55the near heaven with the Stars for
155. 6:57beauty and to guard against every
156. 7:00rebellious devil they cannot listen to
157. 7:02the higher group angels for they are
158. 7:04pelted from every side Outcast and
159. 7:06theirs is a constant or painful torment
160. 7:09except such as snatch away something by
161. 7:11stealing and they are pursued by a
162. 7:14flaming fire of piercing brightness so
163. 7:17demon steals something and then gets
164. 7:19pelted so let's simplify it angels are
165. 7:23talking about Secrets hey God is going
166. 7:25to do something tomorrow and this will
167. 7:27happen he's going to do this and going
168. 7:29to do this this and they have secrets
169. 7:31and then one the one devil is listening
170. 7:34and God will be like oh here's one shoot
171. 7:36him and then there is still one who
172. 7:39snatches some some of the information
173. 7:42and he gives it to uh we call them um
174. 7:45soothsayers is how they normally
175. 7:47translate yeah so the people who forun
176. 7:51tellers so he he's going to give them
177. 7:53that information that's why they are
178. 7:55accurate this is the whole thing the
179. 7:58whole story behind it
180. 8:00I mean I have a better better security
181. 8:02system than God if this is all what he
182. 8:04got we have cameras today we have
183. 8:08sensors we have everything so he has
184. 8:11stars and what a waste yeah there are
185. 8:14billions of hurling entire Stars
186. 8:16billions of St what a waste it it just
187. 8:18it seems not really from God what I hear
188. 8:22here is just a myth that was in in in
189. 8:25Arabia and Muhammad just put it there as
190. 8:29a effect and you could you could you
191. 8:31could see why someone would come to this
192. 8:32conclusion because a shooting star does
193. 8:34actually look like a star right and you
194. 8:36say oh you know what what happened why
195. 8:37is that star shooting across the sky oh
196. 8:40it's a it's a security system but you
197. 8:42know put putting all of that together
198. 8:44Stars the Stars you see in the sky are
199. 8:47actually missiles waiting to be launched
200. 8:51for when a demon sneaks in to listen to
201. 8:53Allah's plans so he can sneak back and
202. 8:56tell fortune tellers what's going to
203. 8:58happen in the future and so when you see
204. 9:00a shooting star it's because God or one
205. 9:03of the Angels grabbed a star hurled it
206. 9:05at a demon to stop him but you've
207. 9:07pointed out some of them still get away
208. 9:09they get away from God's security system
209. 9:12it's not 100% not 100% effective they
210. 9:14still have some to deal with let's go to
211. 9:18um
212. 9:19mountains Surah
213. 9:221615 he has cast into Earth firmly set
214. 9:26mountains so mountains God just throw
215. 9:29them on Earth so it would not Shake mhm
216. 9:32and this is clearly a scientific error
217. 9:35so God created Earth but it was shaky
218. 9:38it's like put those down like like tent
219. 9:40like tent pegs to hold everything
220. 9:42exactly to hold Earth and we know that's
221. 9:45not true Um mountains areic plates they
222. 9:48push together and then and then they go
223. 9:50up so they're not they're not hurled
224. 9:52down and I don't know how a Muslim will
225. 9:56think this is from God when I was when I
226. 9:58was studying these things
227. 10:00it was the last thing and I said this is
228. 10:03not from God if you need proof that
229. 10:06Muhammad made this it's a human made
230. 10:09thing just look at scientific errors
231. 10:13with clear eyes and you will see it's
232. 10:16it's not God's word and what's what's
233. 10:18amazing is it gets much much worse when
234. 10:21you bring in the commentaries of his
235. 10:23companions and uh other things that were
236. 10:27that were in the Hadith and so on the
237. 10:29the the overall picture you get even
238. 10:31with the mountains is that there's this
239. 10:32giant fish down at the bottom and there
240. 10:34are these seven Earths all stacked up on
241. 10:36top of each other that's in the Quran
242. 10:37too there are seven Earths and they're
243. 10:38all stacked up and then that fish
244. 10:40becomes agitated and that's why the
245. 10:42Earth shake and that's where earthquakes
246. 10:44come from and that's how they tie in the
247. 10:47mountains that Allah puts them on the
248. 10:49earth to sort of stabilize it when this
249. 10:51fish is is rocking the boat so to speak
250. 10:53I had a debate with a Muslim
251. 10:56shikh an Egyptian one and I asked him
252. 10:58about this stars and I told him what is
253. 11:01the reason that God created stars in the
254. 11:04Quran he mentioned two things he say to
255. 11:07be to cast at demons and also to guide
256. 11:11people MH he left he left out the
257. 11:13missiles well I mean to to guide people
258. 11:17at night that's what it used to be in in
259. 11:20Arabia so I told him now we have GPS we
260. 11:23don't need that so he just created them
261. 11:25for nothing we have GPS and we don't
262. 11:28need star to go in a desert and see our
263. 11:31Direction and stuff like that it just
264. 11:33means this Quran was made up from the
265. 11:36culture from Muhammad's surroundings it
266. 11:39has no scientific um uh discoveries it
267. 11:43has actually scientific errors and so
268. 11:45for all you zacher Nik fans out there
269. 11:48whose faith and confidence in the Quran
270. 11:51uh has been based on its supposed
271. 11:53scientific accuracy uh we can confirm
272. 11:56right here better find a better argument
