0:02School of dying to
0:05self um and again like I said tonight I
0:08mainly want
0:09to put the
0:11significance on the topic before we even
0:14go anywhere of like what what do we'
0:16been talking about and breaking verses
0:18down too
0:19deep
0:21um but I I have here uh number number
0:25one I touched on it a minute ago the
0:27world is running full force into the
0:29exact opposite Direction with great
0:31momentum in this last
0:33hour the the total polar opposite of
0:36dying to self the world's going for self
0:39love self in it for self the reason I do
0:42this is for self me my and mine and I
0:46want us to know the kingdom if you
0:48signed up for
0:51Christianity I love this about um this
0:55gospel this word this flawless King who
0:59lived this life and his whole mission
1:00and goal was to get to that
1:02cross die and rise again and be seated
1:05and then have others take up their and
1:07do the same thing you know you have
1:09other Twisted religions that are founded
1:11in death which is
1:13sin and they may give up their life for
1:16what they believe in martyrdom but it's
1:17a total Twisted it's still for
1:19self you know like um certain Muslim
1:25extremists the it
1:27looks sometimes committed and Brave on
1:31paper you know martyrdom but it's unto
1:34what's in it from
1:36itself and I Love The Gospel the the
1:39Living God who you and I
1:41serve seen so perfectly through Jesus is
1:45why death because true love lays its
1:47life down that's why love is the
1:50greatest of all and uh and that that's
1:53what's under this whole thing Amit so
1:56many so much more but um but may we just
2:00set that straight right up front the
2:01world just fleshly n we were born into
2:03sin the Bible says all man has fallen
2:05short of the glory of God and so if we
2:08don't give oursel over to this book and
2:10what Jesus Paid for through the born-
2:12again Christian
2:13Life you will have a bloud inner
2:16bullhorn pulling you just you know
2:20coaching you to go after what's you self
2:23even relationships because what it makes
2:25how it makes me feel and everything's
2:27about self in the path Jesus walked
2:30that's why he's he's so profound in
2:32every way nobody's ever and ever will be
2:34like him it's just it's just wild his
2:38Playbook no nothing can stand in
2:40comparison to Jesus and this life called
2:44Christianity if seen truly through this
2:46book The Right Way authentic
2:49theology TR the true biblical form of of
2:52a life lived after God is one of dying
2:55to self denying yourself not popular
3:00I joked I encourage I want to just
3:02encourage if you if you join this school
3:03like I'm proud of you but I joked up to
3:06the point and we weren't really trying
3:08to go out of our way to highly promote
3:10it much I was more teasing the other way
3:12that many people are you know going to
3:14be looking for other type conferences in
3:15schools
3:16meaning I know this isn't
3:19popular but uh we're not we didn't sign
3:22up for popular we signed up to marry the
3:24bridegroom King and it just so happens
3:27that one of the number one plays in his
3:29book is death to self deny yourself and
3:31follow me and there's such beauty in it
3:34it's such life comes out of it um and so
3:38just want to uh again 2 Timothy 3 I
3:42quoted earlier it says in the last days
3:44which we're in and only increasing into
3:47there'll be perilous times why Paul
3:49because people will be lovers of
3:52themselves the Bible says in 1
3:54Corinthians 13 love seeks not its
3:57own it's not about self
4:00and that's where we're trying to go
4:01we're trying to get so separate we're
4:03not trying to be relevant at all with
4:05this world at all not trying to even
4:07make sense at all not trying to have
4:09everybody understand us no we preach the
4:11gospel it's the mystery it's simple to
4:14some but it's the power of God we preach
4:16the gospel we live life lives laid down
4:19unto him we answer to the Lord one day
4:21and that's it we fear God we love people
4:24we we want to become like people to win
4:25them but not for the sake of coming off
4:27of this book and for sure sure not
4:30leaving the path of dying to self and
4:31denying ourselves laying our lives down
4:34and that's what these next weeks we'll
4:35be we'll be doing together digging
4:36throughout the word and I pray the Lord
4:38would look at us after a few weeks and
4:40be like yes yes yes they're looking so
4:42much more like my son there's a dead
4:44company arising in the earth you
4:47know and um it's so so good but I have
4:52here this
4:53momentum in in wave if you will that's
4:56ever incre and I'm telling you
5:01like even Generations
5:04ago people weren't as selfish it's wild
5:08it's it's the spirit of the age that's
5:09creeping in and the Bible it's it makes
5:11sense it say in the last days people
5:13will be lovers of themselves but even
5:15back in the day there's there was still
5:17a little bit even if you weren't born
5:18again there was still just a little bit
5:20more moral hey treat your neighbor right
5:24like it may cost you but go out there
5:26and help and and just do certain things
5:29in life in marriages across the the
5:32country the Nations like everything was
5:34it's it's increasingly my point going uh
5:38the spirit of this age away from this
5:40word and Isaiah 60 tells us that clearly
5:43that Darkness will cover the the Earth
5:45deep Darkness the
5:48people and lawlessness will increase see
5:51this is Matthew 24 it's just all over
5:52the word of God and so with all of this
5:56under the umbrella of the school in the
5:57context of the school is a massive
6:01movement of what's in it for me that's
6:04in the earth and only increasing and my
6:06next point is also it's creeping into
6:09the
6:10church um like we've never seen before
6:13it's like
6:15consumerism you know uh it's and even
6:17churches are building their structure
6:20around it and it's called self- seek uh
6:22Seeker friendly
6:23sorry because it's like what's in it for
6:26me and in it's you know it's just want
6:28to appease everybody be politically
6:30correct we're not doing that like this
6:32is a separate deal we we are a church
6:35for many of you that don't know we're
6:36not no that's not us and in Jesus name
6:39may we never I don't even want to I
6:41don't even want to my pinky toe to touch
6:43that water we're good we're good but in
6:46in for the sake of the school and a
6:49People CU if you sign up for this you're
6:51a rare I'm telling you you're rare um
6:55and I'm just thankful to be in this with
6:57you because I'm going after it myself
7:00but
7:01uh it's you know it's it's creeping in
7:04the church and it's and it's showing
7:05itself it'll it'll paint itself in a in
7:08wrapping paper that looks Christian but
7:11really if you start paying attention
7:13closely without a critical spirit no we
7:15just want to be like Jesus we never want
7:17to step over into criticism becoming
7:19cynical pointing the finger and we're
7:21and competition and competing um that's
7:24never God we want to understand and and
7:27and kind of try and put oursel in
7:29people's shoes and and relate and see
7:31where their background is and things
7:32like this but not compromise either when
7:34you see full out
7:37self-seeking things being done for self
7:39and there's just a lot of that so it's
7:41creeping into the church my whole point
7:43is let's get out if there's anything of
7:46it still trying to creep into your home
7:48your family your personal life your
7:50whatever you're at bless others you
7:53can't you can't make people drink you
7:55can lead them to the water but look
7:56let's let's you and I you can't speak
7:58for yourself let's run from this thing
8:01and run towards the cross and denying
8:04oursel because it is the Jesus way um
8:08one
8:20second
8:28three okay sorry
8:30but anyway we want to run from um lovers
8:34of self like let's be like oh yeah the
8:36Bible's super clear on that uh God's not
8:38into that Jesus never was he never put
8:41that road map in in our GPS system we're
8:44going to denial of self so we want to
8:47read through a few foundational passages
8:49that we may dig through later in weeks
8:50to come but I'm just giving us some
8:52infrastructure before we move on Matthew
8:5410:
8:5838-39 just going to read them
9:00quick
9:02um and he who does not take his cross
9:06this is Jesus talking and follow after
9:08me is not worthy of
9:11me he who finds his life will lose it
9:14and he who loses his life for my sake
9:16will find
9:18it let me let me do this
9:21yeah uh Matthew
9:2316:24 then Jesus said to his disciples
9:26if anyone desires to come after me let
9:29him seek his own no let him deny
9:34himself and take up his cross and follow
9:37me so this shows you that the the path
9:40behind the Lord has nothing to do with
9:42you it's not in it's not what's in it
9:44for you not what's best for you you're
9:46not you're not in the equation I love
9:48this and again I know it's not popular
9:50but it's so freeing and so like the
9:53sun and I can guarantee you the Lord is
9:56going to marry someone an equivalent to
10:01the road map he laid out meaning
10:03somebody that that will take up their
10:05crosses well like him the bride my point
10:07is going to be a dead company
10:10so a lot of us love the intimate
10:12intimacy slant the loving of the Lord
10:15bridegroom King all of that that goes
10:18over real well quite often you start
10:20talking about denying yourself and
10:21taking up your cross um it's like whoa
10:24hold on a second like you know but
10:27really it's they're one and the same
10:29you you the bridal realm is a she's a
10:32dead dead company Matthew
10:3616:24 then Jesus said to his disciples
10:39if anyone desires to come after me let
10:41him deny himself take up his cross and
10:43follow me Mark 8:34 through 35 when he
10:47had called the people to himself with
10:49his disciples also he said to them
10:51whoever desires to come after me let him
10:54deny himself and take up his cross and
10:55follow me for whoever desires to save
10:58his life will lose it but whoever loses
11:00his life for my sake and the gospels
11:03will save it I love this about the Lord
11:05too cuz he
11:08never like trick like like you know
11:12misleads you he never me his words he
11:15doesn't like just trick you and fool you
11:17along the way and they go surprise I I
11:19made you think this is going to be all
11:21about you but it's not no step one like
11:23you step into the very first day of
11:25class with the Lord as like hey I want
11:28to be a disciple he goes good day one if
11:30you want to even come back tomorrow you
11:33it's write this down in bold letters in
11:35your little notepad highlight it
11:36underlight it everything deny
11:39yourself point one you got that okay
11:42point two take up your cross and then
11:46third Point Daily like it it never ends
11:49I love this about the Lord see the
11:51devil sways the carrot and and and just
11:55tricks people in life and and he dangles
11:58things along to to just pull people down
12:00down deceptive paths the Lord never does
12:02that he's he's always very very clear
12:04and that's what I want to do I want to
12:05make it clear like go ahead and weed out
12:08like the people that are all about them
12:09or at least help us Lord by your
12:12grace get there uh event at least be
12:15heading that way you know and so the
12:18Lord he he's he's very clear he he
12:20doesn't me words Luke 9:23 through
12:2324 then he said to them all see in back
12:27on Mark 8 he says he called to the
12:28people to himself and his disciples and
12:30he threw it out to all of them disciples
12:31he' already called them he knew like
12:33they're going to stick with me Judas I
12:34know is going to play a big part in
12:36hanging me on the cross let me go just
12:37throw the invitation out to all to where
12:39it's real clear if you want to follow me
12:42your life's over you're to follow Jesus
12:45we need to get this to follow Jesus you
12:48basically sign a contract that your your
12:51life's no longer
12:52yours it's it's so beautiful I know it's
12:55to flesh it's like wait a minute I want
12:58some control still I want some say so I
13:00want to be able to kind of still have a
13:03foot in what's in it for me or what's it
13:06going to look like in 10 years what
13:07about my 401k well no I mean the true
13:10biblical standard and that's what I I
13:11really hope to bring over these next you
13:14know several weeks together I want to
13:16bring the unadulterated unpolluted raw
13:19and let it just land where it will you
13:21know and you start to see in time many
13:25people can talk but time is a is a good
13:29good tester time proves and when you
13:32start having your right hand nailed
13:33you're like oh that was tough then my
13:35left hand I have nothing to grab and
13:36then my feet and and you go deeper with
13:39the Lord in this in this way um you know
13:42some people fall off and and that's okay
13:45but may we get the Revelation by the
13:47spirit of the word that this is where
13:48true life is it's it's the
13:51way but to follow Jesus is literally I
13:56it's the only it's just crazy and
13:59there's nothing else in life like it
14:01like you go to sign up for a job and why
14:03do you go to get a job to better your
14:06stance in life financially and you
14:08should that's biblical and Steward and
14:09finan and that's good but I'm just
14:11saying there's literally
14:12nothing you would go to and Life to
14:16follow and sign a contract trct on that
14:20would
14:21erase you and that's what the Lord calls
14:24for it's just incredible Luke 9:23
14:27through 24 but we're going to see
14:29ultimately because this is how he gets
14:31full Glory it's the beautiful design and
14:33how he set it up he shines most fully
14:35through dead
14:36vessels as long as any of us is still
14:39living that's that's areas Jesus there's
14:41like a blockade there the Lord can't get
14:42through fully he's in US yes we're saved
14:45he loves you but he can shine potently
14:48and fully through dead vessels and so
14:50that's what he's that's what he's after
14:52Luke 9:23 through2
14:5324 then he Jesus said to them all if
14:57anyone desires to come out after me let
14:59him deny himself take up his cross once
15:02in a
15:03while take up his cross one time and
15:07then you're done you you graduated no
15:10take up his cross daily well when do the
15:13days end they never
15:15do there's days in every week and every
15:18month and every year and guess how many
15:19years there are as many as until the
15:21Lord returns and there's still days in
15:22that daily and follow me how long until
15:26I return or you die and come see me
15:29first daily it never ends and it's and
15:32if we can learn to get the revelation of
15:34like oh my gosh we'll see here in a
15:37second if we get that far um
15:39tonight that the Lord sees death as an
15:44accomplishment one of the greatest
15:47rewards you can obtain this side of
15:50Heaven because when you get to the
15:51Eternal side you're never given this
15:52opportunity again that's the other thing
15:54this only the only option we have to
15:57deny ourself because directly ties into
16:00our will our wants our desires um how we
16:04want it you know so many
16:06things but we only have one opportunity
16:09it's this side once you cross over it's
16:11it's done and thank the Lord that's the
16:14next chapter of overcoming and being one
16:16and you know hopefully overcoming being
16:18on the throne with the Lord but but this
16:20side this is why the Lord HD it over and
16:22over and over again it's all throughout
16:24the word it it's a it's the greatest
16:27reward I outside of loving him but one
16:30of the greatest rewards is is dying to
16:32to
16:36us because of Love lays its life down
16:39which is the highest call on life to
16:41love him and know him but then also he
16:43gets full glory and that's what this
16:45really simply put if you just take
16:47everything and bring it down to two
16:48points in life why am I living to love
16:50and know him and to give him glory and
16:52you notice both of those have nothing to
16:54do with us this is the purest posture
16:56you can ever align with and Lord take us
16:59there I pray why am I awake and alive
17:02today to love him and know him and give
17:04him glory from that are there great
17:06benefits and blessings and freedom and
17:08like oh yeah and healing and divine
17:10health and oh yeah thank you Lord
17:12because that why because that gives you
17:14glory and I'm very thankful I'm very
17:16thankful this thing is too good to be
17:18true how you set it all up but you can't
17:22love him fully and give him glory
17:24outside of a dead life you can start to
17:28but if the the more living we are and
17:32he's so clear here those two aren't
17:34going to be lived out to to um to any
17:38great
17:39extent for whoever desires to save his
17:41life will lose it but whoever loses his
17:44life for my sake will save it I mean I
17:46pray this thing would get on us look I
17:48know it's foreign to many movements and
17:50crowds and it's not going to be a big
17:51shout you down message like this is one
17:53you're going to take an offering up on
17:55but I pray at least it would get in us
17:58and we start to teach our children and
18:01and just walk in it because it's the
18:03word it's undeniable in the word and
18:04you're just going to be
18:05different dead people are really hard to
18:08reject and hurt they just don't care
18:11they're
18:12dead they they really don't cow a man
18:14because they don't fear man they fear
18:16God they're dead to it all the world
18:17doesn't attract them they're dead to it
18:19all they they're so apt to be one with
18:22the lord they're somewhere apt to be
18:24sensitive to his voice because they're
18:26dead to them and they're very alive to
18:28the spirit they sense the slightest
18:29wooing and sharp conviction and there's
18:32just so so much there but um Luke 14 I
18:36love this in 27 Jesus was
18:39straightforward don't ever think the
18:41Lord Jesus Christ was politically
18:44correct and by our definitions he didn't
18:46give a rip about any of that often he
18:48would say things you wouldn't even
18:50understand him and he wouldn't even
18:51clear it up I there's a whole another
18:53topic U me and some close friends were
18:55talking about like there's nonsense in
18:58because you know Matthew
19:0024 talks
19:02about um you know people being easily
19:05offended well the Bible talks about that
19:07we should not be easily offended but
19:08also many will be offended that's
19:10another line item with lawlessness will
19:12increase and the love of many will grow
19:14cold well being offended as another
19:15massive one that's hitting the Earth
19:16right now Matthew 24 end
19:18times so it's just super
19:22like everything's getting categorized
19:24into a bunch of nonsense that just Jesus
19:26and Paul and all of them would be like
19:28what are you talking about about like
19:30it's spiritual abuse and my my feelings
19:32and me and the Lord's like Peter get
19:34behind me Satan eat my flesh drink my
19:37blood making whips and flipping tables
19:38and he you know rich man he said what
19:41what must I be do to be born again he
19:43says go sell everything you got follow
19:45me the dude left sorrowful and Jesus let
19:48him let him walk off he didn't plead
19:50with him and do a counsel
19:51session Grant it now the Lord's very
19:53kind and patient and there's that side
19:55to him as well but don't I love that
19:58about him the Lord's he'll let it be
20:00known he'll tell you straight he's not
20:02worried about your your poor little
20:04feelings a lot of times he'll on purpose
20:06hit that like we we got to come out of
20:08this whole thing that's another thing
20:09again it's a different topic but the
20:10spirit of the age is creeping on people
20:13and there just if everything isn't so
20:16tactfully said and um people are just
20:19taking things the wrong way anyway
20:21that's my little
20:23little holy Soap Box over here but I
20:26love this Luke 14:27 help us Lord and
20:29whoever does not bear his cross and come
20:31after me uh cannot be my
20:35disciple like wow the St I mean he set
20:39standards super high why because he
20:41knows if you'll just obey him he he'll
20:43give you the grace to do it and you guys
20:46know I always and will continue to
20:47through this school underg everything
20:50with none of this can be done outside of
20:52loving him deeply CU it's by his Spirit
20:56not by our own might or strength but by
20:57his spirit by his grace but also there's
21:00Faith salvation is with Grace and Faith
21:04and so I'm hitting both hard but don't
21:06ever think I'm meaning to roll up our
21:07sleeves and we're just going to do this
21:09thing it's by loving him and knowing him
21:12and that's why I love the the beauty of
21:14this high standard he
21:16sets because he he can Empower you to do
21:18it he says be perfect as I am perfect
21:21and it's like whoa how I I'll Empower
21:24you to just obey the book follow me
21:28Romans 8 those that are led by the
21:30spirit are true sons of God follow the
21:31Holy Spirit stay say deep in prayer in
21:34my word and um but Luke 14:27 and
21:37whoever does not bear his cross and come
21:38after me cannot be my disciple period he
21:42didn't even kind of give a a loophole in
21:45there if you do not bear your cross and
21:47come after me and that's that's two-part
21:50we'll probably go into it deeper in
21:51weeks to come but you can't even be his
21:54disciple which means you can't even
21:56learn from him
21:59that's stage one you're you're not even
22:00talking about being used by him in
22:03certain ways this is just learning from
22:05him and um and so it's just so good L
22:09Lord help us uh so I have here one of
22:12the greatest goals of this life prior to
22:15crossing over to the Eternal side is the
22:17goal of dying to
22:19self and I do want to clarify this
22:21because we may have some new students in
22:22here that like sometimes these terms are
22:26you know everybody comes from different
22:27backgrounds and different parts of the
22:28world world and and it may not always
22:30click different languages but for
22:32clarity's sake I clearly talking about
22:35the biblical view point of this dying to
22:39self referred to from none other than
22:41Jesus
22:43Christ that we just saw in some of our
22:45biblical reading I'm by no means uh
22:47please hear this because I'll never
22:49touch this again as we move on but I
22:51just want to get it in there I am by no
22:53means implying this notion to a literal
22:56or physical dying or even a natural
22:58means of inflicting hurt or suffering or
23:00death upon ourselves in any way when I
23:03talk about dying to self that's not what
23:04I'm talking about I'm clearly speaking
23:07in reference to the exact same
23:09application of the term dying to self
23:11that Jesus was referring to and I
23:13believe is continuing to as a great cry
23:15from Heaven over his bride in
23:17preparation for his
23:19return so I I'm referring to the
23:22terminology Jesus is using and we're
23:24clearly going to break it down further
23:25as the school continues the does
23:29but that Jesus is did call us to in the
23:32word but I believe is currently crying
23:34out over heaven for his bride to come
23:37into this dying to self as well in
23:39preparation for his
23:42return can that also sometimes look like
23:46and result in martyrdom which would be a
23:49more literal application of dying for
23:51the sake of the Gospel absolutely so we
23:54also do include that for sure a life
23:57laid down for the gospel goel you know
24:00we don't fear man but God who can
24:02destroy both the body and soul in hell
24:04it's Matthew 10 we don't fear man who
24:06can kill the body so that that's
24:08martyrdom but more importantly when I'm
24:11talking about dying to self a a
24:14lifestyle um that Jesus is referring to
24:17so because they got some really
24:18interesting things in ages old with
24:20Mystics and inflicting pain and things
24:23and it like it was holy that that's not
24:24biblical so just want to make that
24:27clear so I have here um dying to self as
24:32many of you have heard me mentioned
24:33before on multiple occasions is I
24:36believe one of the three major keys at
24:39the top of the value system for the life
24:41of a
24:43Believer um I believe that dying to self
24:46is like one of the top three major keys
24:50if you had you know had to gauge things
24:52in a value system of the spirit for a
24:54Believer it'd be right up there with
24:56loving God number one I do rank that
24:58number one for sure nothing close to it
25:00loving and knowing him and then two and
25:03three I look at them interchangeable the
25:06renewal of the mind and dying to self
25:08and they they really need to go hand in
25:09hand all three you can't do any of them
25:12well if one's missing so you know that
25:15need to be in
25:20place but um number one loving him two
25:24and three interchangeable dying to self
25:27and the renewal of the Mind my my point
25:28is are dying to self is massive like if
25:30you had
25:32to you know ask
25:36me if I had just a few things I could
25:39leave with one believer and I'd never
25:41see them again and they were about to go
25:42through
25:44Decades of walking with the Lord until
25:46they see him return into whatever it
25:49could be whatever topography wherever in
25:52the earth geography wherever they were
25:53at it could be persecuted times it could
25:55be glorious times
25:56whatever these three I would highly
26:00encourage love God above all first and
26:02foremost first and greatest commandment
26:05by value
26:06too and then the renewal of the mind we
26:10just got out of that
26:11school and dying to self so just want to
26:15encourage you guys the importance if you
26:17remove dying to self from the equation
26:19of this life called
26:21Christianity you have removed such a
26:23massive part of the equation that the
26:26solution is no longer attainable
26:29so Christianity simply put means we're
26:31to become like Christ and we're to
26:33follow
26:34him as we saw earlier you take dying to
26:39self out in inequality way and it's it's
26:43unattainable you cannot become
26:45Christlike it's not going to happen out
26:47of the words of the the Lord himself he
26:49made that so clear so I pray we'd
26:51Embrace this and say you know what yeah
26:53it sometimes it
26:54hurts um because I want I like me I like
26:58the pleasures you know even that's
27:00another one that people will be lovers
27:02of pleasure rather than lovers of God we
27:05got to watch all this stuff and I hope
27:06we have time to check it over the next
27:08few weeks but God's he loves enjoyment
27:11in life but if we're not careful we will
27:16our our nature will want to pull towards
27:18what's self first and the Lord just
27:21checks it at the
27:25door I have here um if you are not dying
27:29to self you are not a Christian by
27:31biblical standards that's just the
27:34Bible see a lot well no I'm saved by you
27:37know by grace through faith yeah but
27:40that faith has works with it and Jesus
27:43clearly said if you want to follow me
27:44you got to deny yourself and take up
27:46your cross and if you don't take up your
27:49cross you're not my
27:51disciple you know what I mean so you you
27:55can dice it up however you like but I I
27:57like the biblical way it's very clear um
28:00if you are not dying to self you're not
28:03a True Believer by Jesus standards see
28:06but I do believe the
28:09Bible let's just make this clear real
28:11quick the Bible when it says
28:14believe in your you know if you believe
28:16that Jesus Christ that word believe
28:18means a life adhered to meaning it's got
28:22fruit to back it it's not a phrase It's
28:24not a thought it's a lifel lived out
28:27there's a a big big difference there
28:30there's a big difference there so when
28:32you read belief that's faith in James is
28:35real clear I love James just pulls the
28:37rug out from all from under he says look
28:39if you say you have faith I'm telling
28:41you I got faith with
28:43works so meaning my when I say I believe
28:47in the Lord I'm a Believer is because my
28:50life actually walks this thing out I'd
28:52hear my life to him and he actually told
28:54me if I want to continue to walk this
28:57thing and follow him
28:59I have to deny myself take up my a't is
29:02about me so if you see people waving a
29:05big Christian flag and even major
29:07Ministry title whatever and they ain't
29:10going down this path I'm just telling
29:11you the Bible's not really highlighting
29:13that a whole lot it's is God good does
29:16he bless us oh yeah and I preach all of
29:18that and we will continue to I'm just
29:21saying it's very
29:22clear and it'll hopefully become more
29:24clear as the weeks preced but um
29:29a Believer is is a life adhered to if
29:31you are not dying to self you are not a
29:34true disciple as we just saw in Luke's
29:37gospel right and so let's let's think
29:39about that too number one if I'm not
29:42sold on this that when I wake up
29:45tomorrow Wednesday November
29:478th one of my main missions if I'm
29:49following Jesus now if I'm following
29:51some other ideology system belief
29:54religion hey figure that one out but
29:57none of them lead lead to Eternity cuz
29:59none of their gods are alive even if
30:01it's not a religion whatever your your
30:02MO is in life but all of us in this
30:05school are clearly following Jesus
30:07seeking to more if I'm following the
30:10Lord I wake up I wake up tomorrow
30:12Wednesday November 8th and I'm knowing
30:14one of the top modes of operation for me
30:18is die to self
30:20tomorrow how am I going to take up my
30:22cross and follow him and deny
30:24me that's one of the the greatest
30:28um
30:30checkpoints daily we just read it is
30:32daily so Thursday that doesn't stop
30:34that's on the list every day and that's
30:37where life is Jesus
30:40says
30:43so and and that's what Jesus says
30:45equates me to be a disciple and so also
30:50we need to think through if we are
30:52aspiring to make disciples which Jesus
30:54commands us to do go into all the world
30:56make disciples many Nation
30:59well then let me think what's a disciple
31:00again oh yeah whoa I remember Jesus
31:03brought that up to me in his word and a
31:06disciple is somebody who denies thems
31:08yep takes up their cross not monthly
31:11daily wow so Sun not even off on Sundays
31:15Saturday what about the weekend no daily
31:18seven days a week
31:20247 and so my whole thing is like hey
31:23let's let's go ahead and see it for what
31:24it is and it's like it's a great joy Joy
31:28it's the pathway to life it's Heaven
31:31it's Heaven Divine this is the this is
31:33the way it's not something we want to
31:34run
31:35from um but number one if we're going to
31:38be a disciple need to check that off if
31:40we're making disciples I want to
31:42encourage you our children whoever we
31:44are you're discipling somebody whether
31:46you think you are or not you're you're
31:48impacting somebody you want to ingrain
31:50them with this hey not about you so how
31:53you kept doing that and you kept
31:54fighting for your own because you wanted
31:55your rights and you wanted it this way
31:56and selfish this and that
31:58the whole world systems built around
32:00that yet not the kingdom Kingdom's not
32:02that way kingdoms that your life is not
32:05your
32:06own and that's and that's what will be
32:09true disciples but if you raise up a
32:11bunch of self junkies they're not
32:13disciples by Bible standards they but
32:15they know a lot of verses they can
32:16preach the house down that's great but
32:18if they're not about denying them
32:19themselves they're not
32:21disciples isn't that wow that's like one
32:23of the clearest definitions in scripture
32:25and I love
32:26that so I have here one of the greatest
32:29goals of this life to attempt I have it
32:33underlined attempt uh pray I pray the
32:36Lord will help us to attain either
32:39before we go to be with the Lord prior
32:41to his return or we see him split the
32:43Sky by way of his return is completely
32:46dying to self this is one of the
32:48greatest goals in life to attempt
32:51completely dying to
32:52self like literally when we get to
32:55heaven one day again whether we see him
32:57first or he splits the
32:59sky one of my greatest goals and I I I
33:02pray for all of us one of our greatest
33:03goals is to be like Lord in that day let
33:07me be so dead to me because this is such
33:12a highlighted emphasis in Scripture that
33:14you walked out you literally came to the
33:18Earth for that moment you were crucified
33:22before the foundations of the
33:23earth and then you declare it clearly to
33:26anybody that wants to follow you take up
33:28the same deal daily and your cross and
33:29deny yourself and so I want to propose
33:32again with great emphasis on this first
33:34session the importance of denying to
33:36self and that this would be one of our
33:37greatest goals like Lord tomorrow let me
33:39be more dead than I was today Thursday
33:42let me be more dead than I was Wednesday
33:44please Lord help me in this area don't
33:46let me start taking steps back the other
33:48way don't let me go backwards and start
33:51seeking my own that's not love um I I
33:55got to lay my life down don't let me
33:57start fighting for my rights and getting
33:58offended because dead people don't do
34:00that's that's not in your
34:03company I need to be more dead each day
34:05and so I I want to encourage us that
34:08like we would see this
34:09life
34:11as a a race to who can die first and not
34:16a race against each other we never want
34:18to compete in that way but a race unto
34:21his glory because it's it's how he set
34:23it up a a race to end well
34:28and obtain the crown that he meant for
34:30us to wear why so we can throw it at his
34:32feet for his glory see this thing is
34:33about us but this is one of the
34:38greatest Pursuits and goals we should
34:41have as Believers and true disciples
34:42this out of Heaven is like oh yeah no
34:44this thing is not about me how can I lay
34:46my life down and I don't mean getting
34:48into works and getting outside of the
34:50spirit either because sometimes you can
34:51start to get outside of the Holy Spirit
34:52you're trying to do a bunch of stuff
34:54because you're denying yourself and
34:55God's not in it I'm meaning following
34:58him loving him in relationship with him
35:01but in that in following him we're like
35:03oh yeah he says deny yourself take up
35:04your cross and follow
35:06me but
35:08um may we daily have these three things
35:11on the Forefront of our minds so again
35:12tomorrow November 8th Wednesday maybe
35:14wake up like oh my gosh what are like
35:16three of the main points since I'm a
35:20Believer I should live by love God I
35:23need to do that in such a quality way
35:25tomorrow not to check off my box not
35:28legalism and works but I need him like I
35:30was made to love him and he clearly
35:33states it in his scripture that this is
35:35the greatest commandment from Heaven
35:37given to mankind is to love him Above
35:40All by value and uh in in place and
35:44everything love love
35:47God secondly third interchangeable
35:50however you want to do it die to me this
35:51thing's not about me I'm not trying to
35:54fight for I don't care I need the Lord
35:56glorified die to self
35:58and then the renewal of the mind that
35:59happens through the
36:01word and
36:04um I have here uh dying to self by Jesus
36:09standards is a far greater achievement
36:13than becoming somebody in the name of
36:15the
36:16Lord or doing something great or
36:19accomplishing this or
36:21that dead people are what stand out in
36:26heaven how you win the race here by
36:28Heaven's standards is by dying to you I
36:32can promise you when this thing all said
36:35and done the Lord is going who's going
36:38to stand out in heaven or dead ones not
36:41amazing ones will dead ones do amazing
36:44things oh yeah but dead ones dead
36:47vessels that's how the Lord shines
36:49through and we'll keep getting there go
36:51over into Galatians and certain there's
36:52verses that back all this that I'm
36:54saying but um
36:57you know you see in Matthew 7 I bring
36:59them up often it's just such a perfect
37:02picture the these boys were top-notch
37:04Elite preachers I mean Mighty exploit
37:06they were profound in in resume casting
37:09out Devil's prophecy Mighty exploits but
37:12they weren't dead to
37:14them the Lord says you workers of
37:16lawlessness I don't even know you first
37:19love was not a thing you clearly knew
37:22well because I don't know you I never
37:23knew you intimately don't know you so in
37:26from first love you clearly
37:28weren't dying to you and denying
37:29yourself you were just doing a lot of
37:31the works that I do anyway I do all that
37:34I cast out
37:35devils and so dead people are going to
37:39stand out far greater on that side
37:42versus
37:43um you know phenomenal ones I have here
37:47death is always what he shines most
37:49fully
37:50through not Talent not gifts not
37:54Charisma please hear this part though uh
37:57although the these things are great when
38:00enveloped in death so we love talents
38:03gifts Charisma love it all but I'll say
38:06that again death is always what he
38:08shines most fully through dead
38:11vessels not Talent not gifts nor
38:13Charisma although these things are great
38:16they're amazing when enveloped in death
38:20you take talents gifts from God anyway
38:23in Charisma and you pull them out of
38:25outside of the envelope of death and
38:27it's you still have a life is about it
38:30not good train wreck waiting to happen
38:32talents gifts from God and Charisma that
38:35are enveloped by death powerful the Lord
38:39can shine through that um in full Glory
38:42I have here where death is
38:45void Christ glory is
38:49absent please hear these next where
38:51death is
38:52void Christ's glory is
38:55absent where death is with
38:58drawn Christ nature is missing I'm tell
39:02he just he abides resides and shines
39:04through dead vessels like help us get
39:07over it all Lord help us die
39:09quickly uh that you may get Glory
39:11because this is just your
39:13way where death is withdrawn Christ's
39:15nature is missing where death is
39:18vacant Christ's Reign is
39:23nullified death is the key to power and
39:27life in
39:28Christ dead ones death is the key to
39:32power and life in
39:34Christ

39:40um I was going to bring hopefully I give
39:43you a visual um an electrical cord for a
39:46prop I was actually working at the house
39:48anyway doing some electrical working and
39:51hopefully you can visualize it but many
39:53of you will know with just an electrical
39:55wire typical
39:57you know um electrical
40:00wire especially residential you you'll
40:03have a um a neutral wire three wires in
40:06each
40:07neutral uh positive or hot and a ground
40:11right white typically black and green
40:15any of you that have done any work
40:19and and what the visual I wanted to give
40:21you was connecting us to God fully in
40:24the context of these top three
40:27that I've been talking about for quite
40:29some time of intimacy the renewal of the
40:31Mind death to self which is this school
40:34but let's imagine this being you and I
40:36in this
40:38God in the electrical current of love in
40:41the fullness of God his nature and His
40:43glory and all that flowing fully through
40:45us and us to him becoming one with him
40:48you know to know him be like him
40:51represent him in the earth and he gets
40:53full Glory well the white wire the
40:55neutral I like to imagine it as the
40:59intimacy
41:01cord all right so and if just so you
41:04know if any of these are not connected
41:05it's not good uh and you definitely
41:08white or black aren't connected you're
41:09not even getting power but the ground
41:12that I like to look at the um renewed
41:14mind is where you can have problems if
41:17that isn't connected but anyway white
41:19one neutral it simply put uh allows the
41:23the the electrical current to kind of go
41:25back to the source let's just say that's
41:28god um whereas the black positive or
41:31hotline gets power to the source so if
41:35you had power coming from like a battery
41:37to a light bulb the the black
41:40line so it's called White intimacy
41:43because it it almost circulates anyway
41:45in in loving God and him loving us and
41:47keeping the current going positive black
41:51um the I look at the in black wire dying
41:54to
41:55self we've got to have this connected
41:58that death to us in Christ allows his
42:02glory his resurrection power to
42:04flow and so you have your white intimacy
42:07has to be connected death to self has to
42:09be connected and then the green ground
42:13wire you know say electric you know
42:15lightning bolt or something hits and it
42:17can fry out some of your electronics
42:18that's why that wire is so key it's
42:20grounded and I love the the word play
42:22because the green chord I see is the
42:25renewal of the mind and it keeps us
42:26grounded
42:27stabilize in the word and what in what
42:29the Lord's fully paid for and the enemy
42:31comes in and he just can't get in he
42:33can't th the connection to God in all
42:37that the Lord's paid for and there's so
42:38much more there's a very simple analogy
42:40but I just wanted us to give a visual um
42:42I was going to bring them but and like
42:45wire tie them together and let you see
42:47but may we look at that in life because
42:51look you have intimacy awesome there's
42:53going to be some current flowing praise
42:55God well it has to be the like to but if
42:58you disconnect dying to self you're just
43:01not going to go very far there's going
43:02to be a disconnect nothing's going to
43:04flow and work because like I love you
43:06Lord I worship you you're amazing your
43:08presence thank you for saving me you're
43:09my good shepherd oh oh Shepherd Lead Me
43:12by The Still Waters he's like okay but
43:14I'm going to lead you but don't you
43:16remember if you're going to follow me
43:17you got to deny yourself wait I don't
43:19know about that part can we wi that one
43:21out Lord he's like no no that's the
43:24black cord that's death to you but
43:27you're my good shepherd You Lead Me by
43:29Still Waters you make me lie down in
43:31Green Pastures he's like you know I do
43:33but the only way we're going to get
43:34there is if you follow me and I already
43:36told you if you follow me you have to
43:38deny you the only way you get to Still
43:40Waters and where I make you lay down in
43:42Green Pastures is dying to you see and
43:45this is what we don't get so a lot of
43:46times we disconnect that black wire of
43:47death and we no there's no power
43:49nothing's
43:50working you see or sometimes we get
43:54really good at like we just got this
43:55martyrdom mentality I'm ready to let my
43:57down for the gospel I'll sacrifice very
43:59sacrificial I'm going to die to self but
44:01you come off the intimacy slant and then
44:04the the extra electricity from the black
44:06can't it can't Circle back like you you
44:08don't have your neutral connected
44:11there's no intimacy to keep it going and
44:13it's it's going to cut it all off it
44:14won't work either sometimes intimacy
44:17strong death to self we're loving it
44:19we're following the Lord but we're not
44:21really grounded in the word and some
44:24demonic Doctrine comes in and twisted
44:25nonsense on warfare and gets us all into
44:28this swirl that has nothing to do with
44:30the word of God and a lightning bolt
44:32comes in a fiery Arrow from the enemy
44:35like Ephesians 6 comes in and our Shield
44:36of Faith's gone and we get blasted and
44:39it blows everything off anyway so
44:41they're all super key of course we're
44:43talking about dying to self in this
44:45one and it's it's so it's that massive
44:48it's huge because a lot of us love Jesus
44:51his presence even like this weekend the
44:53glory of God we love the glory of God
44:57but when it starts costing us and he
44:59starts turning around to you and saying
45:01hey if you love your family more than me
45:03you're not worthy of where I'm going see
45:06this is where the cost it is already by
45:08scripture but it's going higher on the
45:10bride in this last hour and when when
45:11the heat turns up on on persecution and
45:14things like this I I'll share this fast
45:16I shared it with my kids the other day
45:17something I heard in prayer was Dura it
45:20was a word play on
45:21battery and he broke the words down I
45:24heard Dura cell and I knew it was a cell
45:27like a prison and then the L on the cell
45:29stuck out which I've known this for
45:31years through the prophetic L is 12th
45:33letter of the alphabet it's it's the
45:34apostolic and the Lord I I believe he
45:37was telling me clearly that true
45:39Apostles the apostolic ones that preach
45:41this word and don't come off of it
45:42they're a Time's coming and I think it's
45:44not as far out as we think well they're
45:46going to have to Dura you know Dura sell
45:49the battery hopefully you guys it's like
45:50one of the top ones I think it's the
45:52copper and black one Energizer is the
45:55other one but they're going have to
45:57endure us short for
45:59endurance a cell like a prison cell
46:01they're have they're going to have to
46:02endure the cell locked up for the gospel
46:05I mean these times are coming and
46:08everybody can talk big till you get
46:10locked up away from family you don't
46:12have your Kumbaya guitar and your your
46:14latest playlist you can play to the Lord
46:16do you know him then when you're sitting
46:17on a cold concrete floor baloney
46:19sandwiches if that you know uh whoever's
46:22mate you're with if not whatever pen
46:24you're in we got to know God we have to
46:27he's got to be our everything we have to
46:29know Jesus we have to know him but
46:33that's a whole another thing but
46:34persecution and things are coming and
46:37and uh and it'll be good may may he'll
46:39give us Grace but we this whole dying to
46:42self of the Lord turns and starts laying
46:45out C says you got to eat my flesh and
46:47drink my blood I mean they were talking
46:48thought he was talking about cannibal
46:49cannibalism in the word take up your
46:52cross deny me and things like
46:54this we we got to get over for us and
46:57it's so good but anyway um let me move
47:00let's look further now this is good I
47:02don't know if I'll get through all of it
47:03but we'll
47:04start let's um look further into how
47:07significant a life laid down yeah is in
47:10regards to scripture so this is
47:13powerful we'll start off with the Lord
47:16himself but you'll you'll see in
47:19Scripture that literally Jesus Earthly
47:23Ministry we all know from history and in
47:27just records he he lived probably around
47:2833 years 30 years into the Earth and
47:32three years of ministry
47:34Ballpark and in his entire life Jesus
47:39Christ the Flawless Lamb of God in the
47:43earth his entire Ministry
47:46life God from Heaven his father only
47:52spoke three times audibly over his life
47:56the this is
47:57powerful and you'll notice in scripture
48:00the only time his father split the sky
48:03and spoke audibly for all to hear over
48:06his
48:06son every time only three times every
48:10time he spoke it was in the context of
48:12death to Jesus death to self I just hope
48:16we see it in this way it's so it's so on
48:19the God's heart it's so his way out of
48:23all the times he could have spoke over
48:24his son and needed to probably it's his
48:28son what what triggered him to not only
48:33speak audibly in such a notable way
48:36every time was in the context of
48:39death meaning this this whole death to
48:42self is so powerful means so much it's
48:43his way it's his plan and we want to be
48:45about it so um I I have here it wasn't
48:50when God spoke audibly over the son I
48:53mean the father this is crazy the father
48:55God of all creation spoke audibly over
48:58his
48:59son right it's one thing for ministers
49:02to have heard the go the voice of God
49:03audibly and plenty of had throughout
49:05history but when God speaks audibly over
49:09God there there's something going on
49:11there you got to look at hold on why
49:13number one he only did it three times
49:15but every time he did it what was going
49:17on it's like oh my gosh death it was the
49:20context of death to self was present and
49:23it causes God to split the sky and say
49:25hey this is my son
49:27this is my
49:28son it it wasn't around healings God
49:32never spoke audibly
49:34Miracles multiplying food Devils being
49:38cast out raising the dead even You' have
49:42thought Lazarus after four days God
49:44would have certainly said hey now I need
49:45to be heard on this one too this is
49:46crazy amaz you know my will be done or
49:49something no God was silent all the
49:52years and the only three times he spoke
49:55over God the only three times God spoke
49:57over God in the temporal world for the
50:01perfect model for us as humans to walk
50:03out as Christians and Believers was in
50:05the context of dying to self- dying is
50:10powerful not listen to this God didn't
50:12even speak audibly when Jesus finally
50:16floated Into The Cloud of Glory as he
50:18returned to be seated with the father in
50:20Acts
50:21one9 uh This is Wild like Jesus left
50:25heaven to to be born of a virgin and
50:28walk in the Earth for 33 years in
50:31physical
50:33form right he's finally after all that
50:36time and successfully lived with no sin
50:38and was
50:39crucified and now going to get
50:41resurrected in beeded with his father
50:44the joining again together theyve
50:46they've been with each other since the
50:48from be uh from the beginning of all
50:50time and even then you'd think man he
50:54his final welcome back home to be seated
50:57with the father certainly the father
50:59would speak audibly at that moment when
51:00he gets ascended and caught into a cloud
51:03no silent the only time God spoke was in
51:06the context of death it's powerful God
51:09sees it it's his way Isaiah 53 says it
51:12pleased God to crush his son I know it
51:15sounds backwards to us it's just the
51:16heaven way it's the heaven way he's
51:18looking for dead people it's how he
51:20shines he just trust him in his word get
51:22let's get over us and trust him in his
51:24word and his way in the perfect model
51:26walked out through Jesus Christ who
51:28stood here and he wouldn't finish till
51:30he went to a
51:31cross his whole his whole life was to to
51:34end up in death how can I so die to me
51:38till I finally give it all up that's
51:40what this thing is Will some ultimately
51:43be martyred for the gospel oh you but
51:45nevertheless if we aren't may we be on
51:47this road to like how can
51:49I be fully dead then when I see him be
51:53more dead to me CU that's where he can
51:55shine fully that's where I'm most free
51:57it's it's the perfect design of of the
51:59Christian
52:01life so anyway
52:06um ah oh yeah also this this is powerful
52:10just looking back when the when God
52:12ripped the heavens open open and spoke
52:14over God only three times and all of it
52:17was around the context or imagery or
52:20symbolism of
52:21death also God didn't even speak while
52:24Jesus was on the cross you would have
52:26thought like okay here is the time where
52:29he's fulfilling it at least like this
52:31would be a powerful time for God to
52:32speak and make a real resounding amen
52:36something something of notoriety from
52:39heaven but we know this was the time and
52:42the only time that the father actually
52:45forsook him that he might become sin for
52:48us even though he never knew sin so
52:52that's another reason why God didn't
52:53speak at that moment of the cross that
52:55was the Pinnacle
52:57because he had to forsake Him that was
52:59the moment he he who knew no sin had to
53:01become sin and and he said why have you
53:03forsaken me so God surely he wasn't
53:06going to speak then but the three times
53:08prior around death this is so big may
53:11God be booming his voice out over us
53:13figuratively speaking because we're
53:15we're walking like Jesus and giving our
53:16life up for him and others in this
53:20gospel
53:23um but yeah I touched on this earlier
53:26many reasons why dying to self is so
53:28critical but the number one reason is
53:30because it is what real love looks like
53:32true love is to lay its life down for
53:35another you say why die to self main one
53:38love and again there's many other um
53:42reasons loving him and others is the
53:44highest goal and this is not attainable
53:46outside of us not dying love seeks not
53:48its own TR truly loving God and Tru
53:51loving truly loving others is not
53:54attainable outside of um dying to self
53:57becoming a dead
53:58vessel that's why marriages work
54:01beautifully if you got two dead vessels
54:03you can become one
54:05finally marriages that and again I'm
54:09just using that because that would be
54:10like the climatic Rel
54:12relational imagery outside of us as a
54:16bride to the
54:18Lord but a lot the the main reason
54:20marriages don't work is because one or
54:23both won't die that's what it is
54:27at the end of the day and a lot of times
54:29why they won't die is cuz they don't
54:30have that white cord plugged in real
54:31tight either which is intimacy that
54:32fuels the ability to die and then
54:34something's off with the ground wire the
54:36renewal of the mind all three of those
54:37something's going on typically typically
54:39you can go right there the devil's not
54:41the issue you can buy and rebuke all you
54:43want typically we won't die we're
54:45selfish we want it our way we're full of
54:47Pride which is totally self selfish and
54:50pride are best friends they're they're
54:53like two cords in the same braid that
54:55they they run together peanut butter and
54:57jelly selfishness and
54:59pride and um cuz why would I I Know It
55:03All Me self why would I Repent because I
55:06may look bad I care more about me than
55:08being truthful where freedom is and
55:10laying my and humbl on myself and so
55:12there's just so much to
55:14it um but anyway let's first look at the
55:17uh first time God spoke audibly Mark 1:
55:209- 11 please Mark
55:231 9-1
55:29[Music]
55:40this is kind of good because I can teach
55:42longer um but if I'm I'm going too much
55:44for you all I me we will have the
55:47archive and you could give me a little
55:48feedback maybe at some point I can talk
55:49to you guys maybe in church or something
55:51but I can definitely keep it still to an
55:53hour what's cool is without the dreams
55:55and visions and all that on the back end
55:56I can teach longer so I don't know how
55:58it's going on your guys
56:00end um but uh Mark 1 9 through
56:0511 uh it came to pass in those days that
56:08Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and
56:11was baptized by John what is baptism
56:14symbolism of
56:15death which we're doing Saturday night
56:18is going to be powerful I think like 30
56:19some odd people are going to die in
56:22Christ and come alive
56:25new um
56:27and was baptized by John in the Jordan
56:29and immediately coming up from the water
56:31he saw the heavens parting and the
56:32spirit descending upon him like a dove
56:34then a voice Came From Heaven you are my
56:35beloved Son in whom I well pleased see
56:38Jesus boom he who knew no sin he still
56:41he models it for us the life of dying so
56:44you can come alive in Christ Heaven
56:47split God
56:48speaks it's like wow like you know what
56:52I mean you start to realize every time
56:54God gets excited splits lits the sky and
56:57makes sure his voice is heard audibly
56:59where God speaks over God it's only
57:01around death it's wild it's wild but you
57:06are my beloved Son in whom I'm well
57:08pleased what pleases God a life laid
57:13down how do we align as true Sons and
57:16Daughters to our father lay our lives
57:20down how do I become a son of my Father
57:23in Heaven I know I know I am on paper
57:26I I know technically I'm the son and
57:29he's my father but how do I align to it
57:31relationally on my end to where his
57:34voice booms in a sense from Heaven over
57:37me you are my son you just came under my

57:43fathership what did you do in the earth
57:45that brought you into alignment as my
57:48son that's a better way to look at it I
57:49know on paper he's our he's God the
57:52Father we're Sons and Daughters of God
57:55but what triggered it in the Earth for
57:58God to split the sky with his Audible
58:01Voice and say yep you are my son you are
58:03my daughter and also furthermore I'm
58:05well pleased with you oh you're dying to
58:08you death to baptism that's what it is a
58:11symbolism of death to come alive in God
58:16and so and I want to hit these three
58:18points that I believe we can apply
58:19personally to make them more personal in
58:22stages of like deeper
58:25death and and the beauty in it you know
58:27I just want to remove the whole like any
58:30negative connotation or upon it because
58:32this is the Glorious way it's it's like
58:34the greatest accomplishment of all is to
58:36become a dead company it's really
58:39beautiful but um I I see it is is going
58:42deep you know Jesus modeled it for you
58:44and I that we're stepping into deeper
58:47stages of death until the final one the
58:50cross which you take up your cross daily
58:53then there's a new one next month you
58:55know and it's just it's glor
58:56thank God they never end CU we we don't
58:59ever want to get off this track of dying
59:01to self it's the it's the Glorious
59:04way but anyway first one
59:07um first time God speaks audibly and I
59:11want us to see it like this in in the
59:13Journey of the Lord through his Earthly
59:15Ministry it happened three
59:17times and each stage let's look look at
59:21them as phases of of maturing by way of
59:24deeper death and you'll see they
59:26literally trigger God's voice and de his
59:28voice deepens with meaning and reason
59:31and I believe we can apply it personally
59:33by watching Jesus as the model the
59:35greater you and I will lay our life down
59:37into this thing called denying or dying
59:40to self I believe you you truly hit
59:43deeper stages of triggering God's
59:47audible some of you will have God speak
59:49audibly but you know what I'm saying um
59:50figurative God's voice essentially
59:54speaking over you and backing you in a
59:56deeper way because you're aligning with
59:58his perfect way which is dying to
1:00:00self but um the first one when we align
1:00:04ourselves with death which is exactly
1:00:07and precisely what baptism is we align
1:00:10ourselves into sunship and the pleasing
1:00:12of God
1:00:14himself so it really pleases God and
1:00:16aligns us to as Sons and Daughters
1:00:19relationally we know again contractually
1:00:22we are but when we choose death to self
1:00:25it triggers sunship and God being well
1:00:28pleased it aligns us to God truly as our
1:00:32father a better way to put it it allow
1:00:35it aligns us to allow him to really be
1:00:37that father it's a better way to look at
1:00:40it by dying to when we don't want to die
1:00:42to oursel he he's our father he loves us
1:00:45he doesn't move he he's the same he
1:00:46doesn't change he's no he's no shifting
1:00:48Shadow
1:00:49nothing but when we choose death to self
1:00:52in this earth we align under him as our
1:00:54father and not only that he says I'm
1:00:56well pleased he goes now you're my son I
1:00:59know we know you're my son over there my
1:01:02daughter but you truly didn't activate
1:01:04this relational father to son or father
1:01:06to daughter till you chose dying to self
1:01:08and now you got in a line and I can
1:01:10truly be a father and you you'll see it
1:01:12unlock in a whole new way and also
1:01:15furthermore just you know I'm very well
1:01:17pleased very well pleased with
1:01:21you when we choose dying to I'm telling
1:01:23you it triggers something on the
1:01:24heavenly side is powerful it is
1:01:26almost see like the father standing up
1:01:29and he can't hold it back anymore he's
1:01:30not silent
1:01:32anymore so much so that his his voice
1:01:35audibly reverberates through from the
1:01:37Eternal and breaks open into the
1:01:39temporal it's a big
1:01:42deal but uh it it aligns us to God truly
1:01:46as our father us as his beloved sons and
1:01:48daughters and his simultaneously well
1:01:50pleasing to God so that's the first
1:01:52phase it aligns us to our father the way
1:01:55we should be and he's very well
1:01:57pleased um second one Luke 9: 23- 24
1:02:02let's read that
1:02:05together Luke chapter 9: 23-
1:02:0924 through 34 I'm sorry 23 through
1:02:1734 um then he said to them all and watch
1:02:21this this is powerful what Jesus is
1:02:22doing here then he said to them all if
1:02:26anyone desires to come after me let him
1:02:29deny himself and take up his cross daily
1:02:31and follow
1:02:32me for whoever desires to save his life
1:02:35will lose it listen to the context he's
1:02:37totally talking about denying yourself
1:02:39if you want to keep your life you'll
1:02:40lose it but if you lose your life you'll
1:02:41gain it whoever wants to follow me take
1:02:44up your cross daily you can hear the
1:02:45context of everything he's talking
1:02:47about 24 for whoever Desir to save his
1:02:50life will lose it whoever loses his life
1:02:51for my sake will save it verse 25 for
1:02:53what profit is it to a man if he gains
1:02:55the whole world world and himself
1:02:56destroyed or
1:02:58lost verse 26 here's another one where
1:03:00Jesus does not me words though he's not
1:03:02trying to go seek or friendly for
1:03:04whoever is ashamed of me and my words of
1:03:06him the son of man will be ashamed I'll
1:03:08be ashamed of you he says but all my
1:03:10feelings Lord no you're ashamed of me
1:03:12guess what I'm ashamed of you not only
1:03:14that before my father and the angels he
1:03:16goes on to say but doesn't that my poor
1:03:19little emotional
1:03:21state I'm telling you I I love this
1:03:24about God may may he call us
1:03:26higher you know in love and patience and
1:03:29kindness I hate all this all the time
1:03:31but also we need to know like read the
1:03:33words for how they are the Lord read
1:03:34letters he did not soften that blow at
1:03:38all or candy coat that at all he go I'm
1:03:40telling you right now if you're ashamed
1:03:42of me in this world and my words on that
1:03:44day I will be ashamed of you he's
1:03:47basically saying shame on you you know
1:03:49what I'm saying anyway um for whoever is
1:03:53ashamed of me and my words of him the
1:03:55son of man will be ashamed when he comes
1:03:56in his own glory and his fathers and of
1:03:58the Holy Angels not the Angels the Holy
1:04:02Angels um verse 27 but I tell you truly
1:04:05there are some standing here who shall
1:04:07not taste death till they see the
1:04:08kingdom of God well remember that please
1:04:11because we're really going into it now
1:04:12where God audibly spoke but remember
1:04:15that right whoever wants to follow me
1:04:17take up your cross daily if you try and
1:04:19keep your life you lose it but you give
1:04:20it up you'll gain it follow me deny
1:04:24yourself you know um um don't be ashamed
1:04:27of me here like don't fear man fear God
1:04:29I'll be ashamed of you so this is the
1:04:31context of what he's talking about now
1:04:32watch verse
1:04:3428 now it came to pa uh to pass about 8
1:04:38days after these sayings you can
1:04:41underline that highlight that if you
1:04:42want after what after these
1:04:46sayings came to eight days pass but it
1:04:48was after these
1:04:50sayings of deny yourself take up your
1:04:52cross daily lose your life so you can
1:04:55gain it here in the Earth right that he
1:04:59took Peter John and James and went up on
1:05:01the mountain to pray as he prayed verse
1:05:0429 the appearance of his face was
1:05:06altered and his robe became White and
1:05:07glistening verse 30 and behold two men
1:05:09talked with him who were Moses and
1:05:11Elijah who appeared in glory and spoke
1:05:15of his
1:05:17decease which he was about to accomplish
1:05:22at Jerusalem this we've got this thing
1:05:24so backwards in the Earth
1:05:26Heaven sees dying to you as an
1:05:30accomplishment not his decease which he
1:05:33was about to undergo at Jerusalem no
1:05:35accomplish complete make full if you if
1:05:38you study that word out it's like an
1:05:41incredible accomplishment feature feat
1:05:45winning fully bringing into full
1:05:49fruition but but more importantly
1:05:52backing up I love that Luke's gospel
1:05:54gives us the most detailed t on if it's
1:05:56cuz he was a doctor and he hears death
1:05:57and it just you know once it later was
1:05:59broke
1:06:00down this same account in other ones it
1:06:03doesn't say what Moses and Elijah came
1:06:04to actually talk to him about and so we
1:06:07get caught up and we should and I love
1:06:08it into the glistening face and the
1:06:10glory of Moses and Elijah and Peter
1:06:12talking about making tents but you have
1:06:13to sit back and look at why did this
1:06:16happen why did they show up on the
1:06:18mountain why was he in prayer oh yeah it
1:06:21was after these
1:06:23sayings about dying to setting the
1:06:27precedent on don't don't don't save your
1:06:29life here I'm telling you lose it here
1:06:31so you can gain it deny yourself take up
1:06:34your cross daily then eight days later
1:06:36after these sayings he goes to the top
1:06:39why Moses and Elijah come what's this
1:06:41whole meeting about
1:06:44oh to talk with him about his
1:06:49decease his death which he was about to
1:06:52accomplish at
1:06:54Jerusalem so this is why Moses and
1:06:56Elijah came they came to talk to him
1:06:58about the the most profound thing he was
1:07:00ever going to accomplish of course with
1:07:03the resurrection and all of it but his
1:07:05decease his departing his death and then
1:07:08we read
1:07:09further Peter wakes up from asleep wow
1:07:13let me make tents this is crazy you know
1:07:16verse 33 then it happened as they were
1:07:17parting from him that Peter said to
1:07:18Jesus Master it's good for us to be here
1:07:20let us make three Tabernacles one for
1:07:21you one for Moses dot do da verse 34
1:07:24while he was saying this a cloud came
1:07:27overshadowed them and they were fearful
1:07:29it's the fear of
1:07:31God Cloud of Glory came and they weren't
1:07:34like Wow Let's play in it no the fear of
1:07:35the Lord hit them that's another
1:07:37teaching as they entered the cloud but
1:07:39watch verse 35 and a voice came out of
1:07:41the
1:07:42cloud saying this is my beloved Son hear
1:07:47him when the voice had ceased Jesus was
1:07:50found
1:07:51alone that that whole thing so it's wild
1:07:54but um but here it is again wait a
1:07:57minute why is God all of a sudden
1:08:00standing up out of heaven and he can't
1:08:01contain himself his voice must boom from
1:08:04Eternal and break through into the
1:08:05temporal and be heard
1:08:06audibly for all to hear oh it's around a
1:08:10powwow meeting on the top of the
1:08:12mountain talking about Jesus's death and
1:08:14what he was about to accomplish in his
1:08:16death right his deceased after what
1:08:19sayings oh yeah everything about
1:08:22death 8 days after these sayings death
1:08:25death deny yourself lose your life so we
1:08:28may you know you may gain it and after
1:08:30these saying he goes you know what let
1:08:31me go ahead and finalize my heavenly con
1:08:35conversation with the two witnesses from
1:08:38Revelation and they're going to talk to
1:08:40me about what my death my deceased
1:08:42coming and once again here comes God he
1:08:45can't contain himself the excitement
1:08:46almost the pleasure the affirming in
1:08:51this he breaks he breaks open interrupts
1:08:54the whole meeting again while Peter's
1:08:55just just doesn't know what's going on
1:08:56he comes he wakes up on the back end of
1:08:57it all and he says this is my beloved
1:09:00Son hear
1:09:02him and so I want to stop here again I
1:09:05look at this as deeper phases of walking
1:09:08in God and following the Lord as we deny
1:09:10oursel and I'm so thankful um because I
1:09:14look at like now and he's so crucified
1:09:17me and life has in so many ways like the
1:09:19the greater death that he's teaching me
1:09:22to walk in now and I've got so far to go
1:09:25but and many of you can relate but if
1:09:29we'll allow him to take us
1:09:31deeper into denying ourself and taking
1:09:34up our cross and just dying you you go
1:09:36into these deeper phases where
1:09:39now God not only says look you're my
1:09:43beloved Son whom I'm well pleased he re
1:09:45he re he re reiterates that sorry again
1:09:48says my beloved Son but now he says hear
1:09:52him it it cranks up a notch see at first
1:09:56baptism the symbolism of it all and he's
1:09:59not quite to it it's
1:10:01like you know it it
1:10:04goes and he he affirms him as my beloved
1:10:08Son and I'm well pleased with
1:10:11you but the deeper we go in death it it
1:10:14turns into not only God being well
1:10:16pleased but now him declaring hear him
1:10:19hear her listen to an extra backing
1:10:22comes upon what's on your life it just
1:10:26and when God does that nobody can stop
1:10:28it and and I'm I'm telling you I'm
1:10:29convinced that many
1:10:31people aren't there yet in death and
1:10:33that's okay I just said I've got a long
1:10:35way to
1:10:36go but a lot of us because of what we've
1:10:39seen in God and what we know and I've
1:10:40been here plenty and we think we need to
1:10:42be heard but we're not dead enough yet
1:10:46and so until God from Heaven is saying
1:10:48hear him hear her you're you're spinning
1:10:50your wheels you can get all your
1:10:52websites and do all your clickbait stuff
1:10:55and networking and get your Social Media
1:10:57stuff rocking do whatever you want to
1:10:58try and be heard and you may get some
1:11:01stuff going that that could be woodh and
1:11:04stubble but until God from Earth uh from
1:11:07Heaven sorry says hear him or hear her
1:11:10in heaven backs you in that way
1:11:13typically you you won't have much of of
1:11:16um you won't be heard I mean simply
1:11:20put and so I I love this deeper to look
1:11:23at it in this way this deeper stage of
1:11:24death
1:11:26it literally causes God to not only go
1:11:28from the first one of well pleased
1:11:30you're my son you're my daughter I'm
1:11:32very well pleased with that but now
1:11:34you're my son and daughter I'm well
1:11:35pleased but listen Earth hear him hear
1:11:39her because I shine I shine more fully
1:11:43through dead
1:11:44vessels and the the deeper we walk in
1:11:47death it it triggers Heaven's backing
1:11:50more and this I believe is where a lot
1:11:52of people end up getting called and
1:11:54commissioned because when When Heaven
1:11:56says hear him or hear her you can't stop
1:11:59it it's going to happen when Heaven
1:12:01backs it you can't stop you don't need
1:12:02to start your own thing Heaven sends you
1:12:05he booms from the Eternal realm hear him
1:12:08hear her and and when God does that you
1:12:12don't have to work it and do it he does
1:12:15it and so I I just think often a lot of
1:12:18us the Revelation may be there the
1:12:21walking and knowing with God but the
1:12:22death is not there yet deep enough for
1:12:25having to say hear him hear her and so
1:12:28often you'll feel not heard that's my
1:12:30whole point and I've been there I I get
1:12:31it and you feel like man people have no
1:12:33clue what all I carry and what all
1:12:35that's great but you may want to pray
1:12:37about dying to self more because that's
1:12:39what God's looking for that's what
1:12:41causes him to split the sky and speak
1:12:42over his
1:12:44children not amazing feats and talents
1:12:47and crismas that he gives you and
1:12:48they're amazing to you and once
1:12:49enveloped in death but dead people he
1:12:52gets you can see it he gets excited
1:12:53about it he backs it
1:12:56CU it's his perfect
1:12:58way and
1:13:00um but it's like this deeper phase it
1:13:03triggers heaven to say hear him hear her
1:13:05and then you're like you're trying to
1:13:07slow it down because you're like wait
1:13:08what happened I'm not doing much
1:13:09different and God's like oh yeah you
1:13:11died differently you died more you
1:13:13finally got over you this is a lot of
1:13:15times too our certain stages we just
1:13:17fight fight fight to make this work and
1:13:18that and he's just waiting for us to die
1:13:20and get over it all and then when that
1:13:22happens he's like finally hear him hear
1:13:24her
1:13:25and it doesn't even have to be from a
1:13:27ministerial standpoint it's just
1:13:28whatever the call is it triggers a
1:13:29deeper backing from God is my point it's
1:13:34incredible sorry if that was
1:13:38loud so um so I love this man it's just
1:13:41incredible so the second time God speaks
1:13:44he's like wait a minute hold on are they
1:13:46yep of course he knew but I'm I'm trying
1:13:48to just build it for like more of a
1:13:50story type
1:13:51setting are they Moses and Elijah they
1:13:54came now yeah and he was just talking
1:13:56about these saying
1:13:58death good job son that's disciples and
1:14:02if they stick to it they'll make
1:14:03disciples of many nations yep deny
1:14:06yourself that's right lose it listen I
1:14:08know it makes no sense I know the world
1:14:09s everything else but but this is my
1:14:12way this is my way I didn't send my son
1:14:16to go in there and be some champion in
1:14:17the earth I sent him to go all the way
1:14:20to the end ride a cult that nobody ever
1:14:22rode a mule and die this is my way look
1:14:26at my son so phase one if we align with
1:14:30death it triggers God's pleasure and
1:14:33fatherhood like you've never known in
1:14:35your alignment as a son or a daughter
1:14:37that identity is aligned with in death a
1:14:40lot of us know the verses and We Know It
1:14:43by head knowledge our identity and we'll
1:14:45quote it and say it but until you die
1:14:47you don't really align with it in
1:14:49relational way so you won't feel the the
1:14:51of the unction the flow of a true father
1:14:54and a son or daughter cu true Sons and
1:14:55Daughters of God they die and he goes
1:14:57well pleased got it well pleased phase
1:15:00two Moses and Elijah come in he goes Yep
1:15:03this I've been waiting for this moment I
1:15:04had said nothing in like a year and a
1:15:06half there they go Yep they're talking
1:15:09about his deceased that he will
1:15:12accomplish yeah not have to undergo
1:15:14accomplish champion
1:15:19champion and then he couldn't Peter
1:15:22jumped in for a little bit and God
1:15:23couldn't withhold himself he had a boom
1:15:26my beloved Son hear him listen to him
1:15:30because of death he he booms the voice
1:15:32again secondly over death last
1:15:33one
1:15:47John yeah his glory can only shine in a
1:15:50quality way through dead vessels I'm
1:15:52skipping a bunch of notes here just from
1:15:53what's in me but
1:15:58um yeah I have here from from before
1:16:01that second phase of hear him a lot of
1:16:03times it's it's don't hear him or heard
1:16:05just yet there's still much of them in
1:16:06the way I can't use living vessels my
1:16:10glory can only shine in a quality way
1:16:12through dead
1:16:13vessels but when we get closer to that
1:16:16fulfillment of death in a deeper way you
1:16:18start talking to Saints from the other
1:16:20side about the accomplished decease
1:16:22you're about to step into he's like hear
1:16:24him listen to them now I've got a vessel
1:16:27I can flow through uh lastly John
1:16:3312 um verse verses 23- 28 and we'll land
1:16:51it so good so good
1:16:55John 12:
1:16:5723-28 but Jesus answered them saying the
1:17:00hour has come that the son of man should
1:17:02be glorified he's right towards the end
1:17:04now and he's about to yeah give up the
1:17:08the ghost as the King James would say
1:17:11most assuredly I say to you and listen
1:17:13to what he's talking about again we're
1:17:14leading into the third time the father
1:17:17booms his voice out of heaven and look
1:17:20what's the Lord talking about oh yeah
1:17:21dying to you dying to so verse 24 for
1:17:25most ass surely I say to you unless a
1:17:26grain of wheat falls into the ground and
1:17:28dies it remains alone but if it dies it
1:17:31produces much
1:17:32grain he who loves his life will lose it
1:17:35and he who hates his life in this world
1:17:37will keep it for eternal life the world
1:17:39will not tell you that get you and yours
1:17:41as quick as you can it's all about you
1:17:44do what you what feels right do what's
1:17:46best for you this ain't the book this is
1:17:48not the god way this is not Jesus Jesus
1:17:50is this right
1:17:53here he who loves his life will lose it
1:17:56he he'll tell you right now the world's
1:17:57where you're going to lose it but if you
1:17:59hate your life in this world you'll keep
1:18:01it for eternal life it's awesome it's so
1:18:04powerful verse 26 if anyone serves me
1:18:06let him follow me and where I am there
1:18:08my servant will be also if anyone serves
1:18:10me uh him my father will
1:18:12honor verse 27 watch this closely now my
1:18:17soul is troubled and what shall I
1:18:20say father save me from this
1:18:23hour that's it's a question though
1:18:25listen to this it's really really
1:18:26powerful you read read it slow father
1:18:29save me from this hour it's a question
1:18:31he's he's
1:18:33praying now my soul is troubled and what
1:18:35shall I say father save me from from
1:18:37this hour question that wasn't a
1:18:39statement he he's kind of asking the
1:18:41father but then he hurries up because
1:18:43the father doesn't answer that father
1:18:45doesn't speak over that he speaks over
1:18:46death but for now he makes a statement
1:18:49and he he says to God he asks God save
1:18:51me from this hour and then he catches
1:18:54himself that way the humanity side he
1:18:55was 100% man 100% God but he catches
1:18:59himself and makes a statement to God
1:19:01that's a prayer but for this purpose I
1:19:03came to this
1:19:05hour father glorify your
1:19:08name then a voice Came From Heaven
1:19:10saying I have both glorified it and will
1:19:12glorify it
1:19:14again this this third and final stage of
1:19:17death right up to death's door where we
1:19:19can fully just die to it all deny
1:19:21ourself and die die to
1:19:23oursel is is where God fully gets Glory
1:19:26through you he glor he gets Glory
1:19:29through you and from you his name gets
1:19:32glorified so it's the well pleased
1:19:35father to son and father to
1:19:38daughter alignment stage one deeper
1:19:41phase father son alignment well pleased
1:19:45my beloved hear them third and final he
1:19:50gets full Glory through through the the
1:19:53complete dead vessel
1:19:55and may we be it over and over and over
1:19:57again in this this life before we step
1:19:58over there's our only chance we got we
1:20:00have to die to us when we fully die he
1:20:04gets full glory and his name gets full
1:20:06Glory he gets glorified through dead
1:20:09vessels and from dead vessels his name
1:20:11gets
1:20:12glory and so I love this he's like
1:20:15Father save me from this save me from
1:20:16this hour like he's asking and then he
1:20:19catches himself and he says no but for
1:20:21this purpose I
1:20:23came Why is my so troubled to die but
1:20:27for this purpose I came and then he
1:20:28sealed it and this is what the father
1:20:30was waiting for he hadn't spoke since
1:20:31the last time the father's waiting and
1:20:34Jesus sealed it right here he he could
1:20:36have stopped father save me from this
1:20:38hour and just waited and who knows what
1:20:41what would have
1:20:42transpired but God knew he was going to
1:20:44walk it out perfectly he was crucified
1:20:46before the foundations of the Earth but
1:20:47he goes but for this purpose I came to
1:20:50this hour and he right when he said
1:20:52these words it was done
1:20:55way before chapter 13 and everything
1:20:58precedes right when he said these words
1:21:01in verse 20 28 it's sealed all of Heaven
1:21:03for the purpose to be complete there's
1:21:05no backing out now father glor he prayed
1:21:08it father glorify your name he prayed it
1:21:12by statement form then a voice split the
1:21:15sky again from Heaven saying I have both
1:21:17glorified it and will glorify it
1:21:20again so I love this it's so beautiful
1:21:24just to start session one with like oh
1:21:26my gosh the only three times God the
1:21:29Father spoke over God the son was such
1:21:33excitement affirmation and backing in
1:21:35every time it was in through and around
1:21:39death because it's God's way Isaiah 53
1:21:42it pleased him to crush his
1:21:44son because he's some morbid strain no
1:21:47because it's love it's what love does it
1:21:49lays its life down this Kingdom we serve
1:21:53this this Jesus we follow is so
1:21:55backwards and that's what's incredible
1:21:56there's nothing like him nothing like
1:21:58the father nothing like the
1:22:01spirit this this the the best way to
1:22:05give him glory and find life is to lose
1:22:08ours like help us Lord get over us in
1:22:11every
1:22:12way and we're going to go deeper in into
1:22:15it in the next few weeks but um but
1:22:17again to recap I look at it as deeper
1:22:20stages like I said of death and maybe we
1:22:22go deeper into it I feel like some of us
1:22:23are through the first two right where
1:22:27we've aligned properly as Sons and
1:22:30Daughters to Our Father who who's sees
1:22:32us as his beloved and he's well pleased
1:22:36and we've walked through life and
1:22:37embraced the cross and taken it up and
1:22:39denied oursel daily and got to the
1:22:41second phase of deeper where he says oh
1:22:43yeah not only am I well pleased and
1:22:45you're aligned properly as a son and
1:22:46daughter to me as your father you are
1:22:49are my beloved but take notice Earth
1:22:52hear him hear her
1:22:54and this is where things shift that
1:22:56second one things shift when when God
1:22:59from Heaven essentially it doesn't have
1:23:00to be audibly when he starts saying hear
1:23:02him hear her things change in the earth
1:23:05I'm telling you get ready because you
1:23:06can't SE Bel that you can't stop it it
1:23:10God will God will not only find you but

1:23:15all the network employees the next next
1:23:18uh next best sorry networking gimmick
1:23:21gimmickry no God can have you be found
1:23:23out trust me
1:23:25he he's got his he's got ways he can
1:23:27start an Asberry that nobody has a clue
1:23:29on the Backwoods of some podon town you
1:23:32know for lack of better terms I'm just
1:23:34trying to in a good way I'm sure it's an
1:23:36amazing town but you know what I mean
1:23:37like it's a little in the middle of
1:23:39nowhere God does
1:23:42this and so he he can make it come about
1:23:46but I feel like many of us are even
1:23:47through those second first phase second
1:23:50phase but the last and final one is
1:23:53where he gets full Glory through you and
1:23:58from you because his name gets Glory
1:24:01Jesus says glorify your name if that is
1:24:04the complete climax of all death he's
1:24:06like this is the reason I came to give
1:24:07up my life for me no that you your name
1:24:11get Glory it's all about God loving him
1:24:15giving him
1:24:19glory and so so yeah do it in US Lord I
1:24:23pray that he take us through these
1:24:25deeper phases and you you know what when
1:24:26you hit that third one it's like the
1:24:28chapter of Destiny changes and you start
1:24:30all over again it's beautiful and he's
1:24:32like you're like didn't we already is
1:24:34this Crown Hog Day didn't we do this
1:24:35already he's like yeah you're like you
1:24:37start to learn like oh thank you Lord
1:24:39help me pull another layer back and help
1:24:41me die deeper that I can line deeper
1:24:43into this new chapter of you being my
1:24:45father that I never knew that you're
1:24:47even more well pleased with and I'm your
1:24:49beloved son or
1:24:50daughter and then hear him or hear her
1:24:54and then get full glory and we just
1:24:56never arrive and I and I feel like
1:24:58sometimes if we want to if we ever want
1:25:00to stop put it in park or neutral and
1:25:02just pump the brakes on it all he's okay
1:25:03with that too he loves you but we may
1:25:05get to heaven one day and he be like hey
1:25:07you had about 20 chapters left of
1:25:09repeating that cross daily and I was
1:25:11trying to take you here and get Glory
1:25:13this way it's okay I love you you did
1:25:15amazing way better than most but I pray
1:25:18I was having this chat with my kids the
1:25:19other day over
1:25:21dinner let's never start to think we
1:25:24we're clicking on all cylinders not in a
1:25:27introspective condemning thing but I
1:25:29just think sometimes we think far too B
1:25:31of ourselves or that we're farther up
1:25:32the way I don't want to think that
1:25:34way um I just want to think truthful
1:25:37that's a better way to put it truthfully
1:25:39real assessment like Lord don't let me
1:25:42miss you getting full glory and me being
1:25:45in step with where I'm supposed to be
1:25:47For Your Glory say the thing ain't about
1:25:49me I need to obey you and you have got
1:25:52to get full Glory
1:25:54but Lord please take us through those
1:25:56deeper stages of death and you get to
1:25:58that final one and the Lord's like hey
1:26:01um Can father can you save me he goes
1:26:05nah this is the whole reason I came
1:26:08glorify your name father glorify your
1:26:11name right when he prayed that a pact
1:26:13was made father the father opened the
1:26:15heavens he says there it is there it is
1:26:16again that sweet Aroma of death that
1:26:18comes up that's what I look for that's
1:26:20why I split the heavens the other two
1:26:22times and spoke that's the only thing I
1:26:23speak over really
1:26:24would have spoken over the cross cuz
1:26:26that was it that I was looking for but I
1:26:29had to forsake you cuz you had to become
1:26:33sin it's just
1:26:36man this whole mystery of it all is just
1:26:38too powerful hemmed up in in Jesus
1:26:40Christ but um but I'm going to pray
1:26:43we'll take communion together but I pray
1:26:45the Lord would start off this first
1:26:47session I just giving giving us a fresh
1:26:49excitement Revelation for like oh yeah
1:26:51this thing's for real and I I don't know
1:26:54that I'm going to run into a lot of
1:26:56people out in the workplace or even in
1:26:58other Christian circles and that's okay
1:27:01that are really excited about this and
1:27:02talk about it a whole
1:27:04lot but I can see pretty clearly in in
1:27:07the word this is the Jesus way and he
1:27:09went out of its way to make it so clear
1:27:11and so did his
1:27:13father out of 33 years in the earth he
1:27:16only spoke three times out out of out of
1:27:18heaven audibly and every time it was it
1:27:21was on in and around and on uh through
1:27:24the context of death
1:27:26bam it's his way it's his way and may we
1:27:30follow follow suit
