10:13had some injuries to his left shoulder

10:21could see we could see his um his mouth
10:24was a little uh i haven't laid his hand

10:33and he's notorious for running into the

11:59guys were painting and stuff the night

12:04and that's why i was thoroughly confused

12:07we had a good time sitting on the back
12:10porch having wine and smoking a couple
12:12of cigarettes and then decided to go
12:14inside and literally paint do puzzles
12:17and play
12:18and listen to music that's why
12:22nobody got out of sorts that this is
12:24what's
12:25mind-blowing to me like i don't
12:27i have no clue nobody laid a hand on
12:30anybody
12:31he also had um
12:34like on the left side of his forehead he
12:36had
12:37basically bruising
12:39um
12:40and um
12:42on like his head and skull i have no
12:44idea as if something hit him i
12:47considered not for touchdown
12:50i have not touched him
12:52i have not touched him how would you get
12:54those injuries tell me and we'll both
12:56know
12:58i have not touched him
13:00yesterday when we took photographs of
13:03your overall body um and they did the
13:05bugle swabs did they go under your
13:07fingernails no

13:57why i can't believe you guys didn't take

14:09having his classes
14:11and his seeing his probation officer

14:53mean by he comes after you like

14:57belligerently drunk
14:59like i don't know if you all have looked
15:01through my phone yet and seen any of the
15:03pictures and the videos that i have
15:04taken
15:05and
15:06the
15:07at one point
15:08i started documenting everything okay so
15:10you all will see in my pictures
15:14bloody fingers split foreheads he split
15:17my nose
15:19i've got this right i don't know if
15:21brian told you about it where i had to
15:22have almost what i had one really bad
15:24surgery but then it got really really
15:26really really bad where i had to go like
15:28four or five more times afterwards for
15:30them to tend to it from him poking me in
15:31the back of the leg right so it's
15:35then why are you still with him
15:36everybody asks me that when i tell you
15:38guys this
15:42i really love him
15:44like i do and i feel like i can help him
15:46like i feel like i could help him which
15:49i did because he's come a really he came
15:51a really long way
15:53from where he was in philadelphia to
15:55moving back to hearing to dealing with
15:56everything else that he's been dealing
15:58with
15:59i've really helped him i've bailed him
16:01out of jail what three times i've gone
16:03to every single hearing in every single
16:05arraignment everything that i did for
16:07him gone to see all his public defenders
16:10go to the state i've gone to the state i
16:12i did everything for him because i'm
16:13trying to help him because i have a i
16:16had hope in him
16:18and he was trying
16:19he was really trying just and then he
16:22starts to think about things and it just
16:24i think he gets overwhelmed and then
16:26it's like the next thing i know he's
16:28drinking so it's like oh man
16:31i know where this is gonna go so i'm
16:32gonna go upstairs and read a book or i'm
16:35going to go for a bike ride or i'm going
16:36to do something else where i don't want
16:38to drink
16:39i don't want to drink the occasional
16:41wine
16:43whatever or if it's a weekend
16:45that's when you you have a good time you
16:48don't have to wake up the next day i
16:50have to wake up the next day and do
16:51things i have to tend to lucas i have to
16:53take him to school i have all this stuff
16:54to do
16:56he doesn't know how to
16:59i guess maintain himself where
17:02i can do 50 things at once and still
17:05know the 50 things more previously
17:08prior that i need to get done
17:10he can't process like that he didn't
17:11process like that so it he would
17:13literally not literally but had smoke
17:15coming out of his ears so the next thing
17:17you know he doesn't want to deal with it
17:19i'm going to go get something to drink
17:21so the majority of the time i would hang
17:23out outside or do something else because
17:26i don't want to drink
17:29and every time every time his job broke
17:33his heart and it made me sad because he
17:35had so much pride in this job
17:37and the store that he took care of so
17:40much
17:41totally went downhill
17:43and that
17:44broke his heart because he had put so
17:46much work and effort into fixing it up
17:49and his
17:50manager was
17:52awful
17:53and basically gave up on all of the
17:55employees so i think that
17:58had a huge bearing on why he would drink
18:01so much
18:02his ex-wife
18:03is bonkers
18:05she was all over him all the time
18:08send me money send me money send me
18:09money
18:11how can i send you money when i don't
18:13have a job and he's still trying to take
18:16care of me and lucas by paying a bill
18:18here or there getting some groceries
18:21so he always had something on his mind
18:24which is why again
18:26i got the puzzles and the paint
18:28to try to get him off of it so we don't
18:30have a drink or he doesn't have a drink
18:33so when you all see my phone
18:35you can see all of the damage he has
18:37done to me
18:38and the videos of him smashing my
18:41television because he's belligerently
18:43drunk
18:45well most of the time i just don't want
18:46to be there and i try to help him i try
18:49to calm him down
18:51eventually he just
18:52passes out
18:54well yesterday i made it sound like you
18:56guys were just drinking like a glass or
18:58two like yeah you obviously had the
19:01bottle but you i mean you told me on the
19:03yeah but you told me i'm recording like
19:05that you were not drunk he was not drunk
19:07you guys were having a good time i don't
19:09get i can't get drunk number one i do
19:13not want to get drunk
19:15i don't like being non-competementous
19:18having my wits about myself i don't like
19:19feeling out of control
19:23so i'm just saying you're you're making
19:25it sound like like he's a raging
19:27alcoholic today and yesterday i was kind
19:29of asking you those questions and you're
19:31like
19:32a little defensive like no we're not
19:34alcoholics that he i'm not
19:36you know but you guys were both sober on
19:40sunday to your knowledge because when i
19:42said you went and passed out
19:43you were like no i didn't pass out i
19:45just fell asleep so now it's kind of
19:47like
19:48what is it were you guys drinking and it
19:50got out of hand and
19:52it got physical
19:54or is it
19:56sunday was one of the better days that
19:58we have had in quite some time
20:00he's dancing with my dog you can see
20:02that too on the picture of him loving
20:05the dog he loves
20:07the dog and dancing around having a good
20:09time and just
20:11just being happy
20:13kind of thing
20:16he doesn't know
20:17i can't
20:19i mean i can get like
20:21maybe two three glasses of wine and i'll
20:23be fine but i have to have my wits about
20:26myself because i don't know what to
20:27expect well let's talk about sunday what
20:29was sunday how were you like how many
20:31glasses of wine did you have how many
20:32glasses of wine did he have
20:34the bottle was gone i mean i don't know
20:36if you poured any out yeah no that was
20:38from
20:39previous
20:40you said that there was a half bottle
20:42left over
20:44and then
20:45um that you had went there well i don't
20:48even know how the wine how'd you guys
20:50get the wine
20:51for sunday i'm guessing he went to
20:53publix he's
20:55does he do the does he like leave the
20:57house and you stay home or do you go to
20:59publix like because
21:04so most of the time what happens is
21:06because
21:07the convenience store where we get
21:08cigarettes is here and then publix
21:10literally is caddy wampus to it okay so
21:12what he'll do is he'll start go by
21:14publix and then on the way back catch
21:17the convenience store okay so is that
21:19what he did sunday i i'm guessing that's
21:21what he did because the next thing i
21:22know he's walking in with a bottle okay
21:24so that's
21:27it's him trying to be nice so i don't
21:28have to go out and do it plus there's
21:30stuff that around the house that i had
21:31to take care of so that's usually what
21:33will happen or i'm folding laundry and
21:35he'll go run out and do whatever
21:37okay
21:38so
21:39where were you guys at on
21:43on drunkenness not drunkenness on sunday
21:48you told us you weren't drunk no i was
21:50not drunk i was not drunk
21:52so
21:53with him i don't know
21:56i i know when it's like okay man where i
21:59have told him
22:01slow down it's starting to catch up with
22:03you slow down slow down
22:06and another thing too is i don't like
22:08listening to music with him because he
22:10gets too involved in the music and the
22:12music that he listens to is
22:15a little rough around the edges and like
22:17just
22:18it makes me fractious listening to his
22:20music so
22:22i kept asking him let's not let just you
22:24and me talk you and me will just be the
22:26ones that are talking which was fine
22:28because i mean we were playing with the
22:29dog whatever and then it's like okay
22:32now let's do the painting we just did
22:34the puzzle took a break now let's do
22:36this
22:37sure enough sat down we're sitting in
22:39there talking laughing talking about new
22:41movies we're watching
22:43movie trailers
22:45while we're doing painting and all that
22:47other stuff so it's still background
22:48noise to him because i think that's what
22:50he's used to is having background noise
22:52where me i can sit in here all day with
22:54not a peep
22:56but he always has to have some kind of
22:57background noise which i didn't mind
22:58because the trailers were cool and he
23:00was interested in showing them to me
23:02getting excited about movies that were
23:04out
23:05or upcoming okay
23:07so on your laptop you're talking about i
23:08think okay and i mean
23:10and then
23:12it was you said it was a good day like
23:13you guys didn't have any
23:15have any
23:16uh conversations about your relationship
23:18you guys didn't go down like the rabbit
23:20hole like had too many to drink and you
23:22guys start getting nope when i tell you
23:24this
23:25it made me so happy that he actually
23:27listened to what i i had to say
23:30with
23:31just
23:32we'll get through it
23:33this will be fine it's just it's it's a
23:36small hurdle that you and i together
23:38will get through because in terms of the
23:41money jobs dollars
23:44yes nothing relationship wise though
23:46like no issues relation like did you
23:49guys have a conversation about your
23:50relationship or was it just about
23:52just like what's going on right now
23:54i try to evoke it from him so
23:58he gets it off his chest because i call
24:00him the volcano where eventually he's
24:03going to erupt right
24:05and what he has learned in his classes
24:07is to communicate which is a huge thing
24:09in a relationship where he has been
24:12practicing communication so he actually
24:15talks to me about things and unburdened
24:17himself
24:18put it on me i'll sit there and try and
24:20figure it out for you like i have almost
24:22everything
24:24not a worry just tell me get it out of
24:26you right but it was when i tell you i
24:29was
24:30so happy like it was such a good day i
24:33kid you not the weather was beautiful
24:35outside i'm the one that had him go
24:37inside so we can do puzzles and painting
24:39and listen to music or whatever else he
24:41wants to do
24:42so then he starts doing whatever it is
24:44we're doing together in the living room
24:48and then starts talking because i think
24:49he gets comfortable
24:51with
24:52okay you know what we're here it is a
24:54good day
24:55let me go ahead and explain myself so i
24:57know
24:58nobody else knows but i know
25:01nobody knew george better than i did i
25:03say that i knew george better than
25:05himself
25:07and i tried in every way shape and form
25:11ask
25:12everyone i helped him
25:16i took care of him
25:20i missed him a lot and i didn't even
25:22sleep last night
25:24i miss him a lot
25:27i mean is there any chance it got to be
25:28too much for you and you couldn't handle
25:30taking care of him and i never stopped
25:33right now

25:43still trying to help him

26:22arrested where he was flying off the
26:24deep end

26:27i had him bailed out i got him out of
26:30jail right
26:31but because he had violated the pretrial
26:34diversion
26:35they this time it's probation so you
26:37don't have a choice in it you have to go
26:39to see your probation officer you have
26:42to go to these classes it's court order
26:44where it took them a while to get used
26:46to it and understand
26:48they're not messing around
26:50i even went down and met his uh
26:52probation officer which i say i she
26:54she's wonderful that's one of my
26:55questions jenny to talk to you about
26:58hugged me
26:59and said how much she knows that i take
27:01care of him she called me personally one
27:03time when george was at work when he was
27:05working
27:0642 minute phone call
27:08she and i just saying how grateful she
27:10is that george has me and she knows how
27:13hard i'm working to help him
27:16just as she is and just as the classes
27:18will
27:19so once he started actually going on a
27:21regular basis to the probation officer
27:24and then to his
27:26substance abuse class and his i don't
27:28know what vip stands for matters
27:30intervention program
27:32and actually listening to what it is
27:33everyone had to say he changed like i
27:36could i could see a change in him or
27:38before lashing out he would think about
27:40it
27:42and would always come home and show me
27:44his paper and we would look over his
27:45papers together or it's like wow you
27:48actually are learning this in class
27:50and some of the stuff that they would
27:51show them like videos
27:53he would come home and be like sarah i'm
27:55so sorry for what i've done to you
27:56because
27:58for a video that he watches
28:00to make him feel that way where it's
28:03like oh man
28:06i have done her wrong
28:09but he's changed he changed
28:13and that's why you're still with him
28:14even though he's done all these things
28:15to you and when i tell you i love him i
28:18love him
28:22when you have
28:24when you love somebody you have limits
28:26everybody tells me that all my neighbors
28:28don't tell me that the office property
28:30manager
28:32at some point somebody
28:35gets enough then they have to to do
28:37something to defend themselves
28:39i would just sleep and i don't know if
28:42you would like to see on my phone or i
28:44think i think it's actually on a laptop
28:47i actually because and you have to
28:49understand too
28:50i have like prior to classes in po
28:55kicked him out how many times i had him
28:58arrested how many times but you also
29:00went down and bailed i know
29:02the next day
29:04i know what's on your laptop
29:06um

29:14i actually looked up how to file a
29:15restraining order
29:17okay because i would take him out his
29:19parents because of
29:21them
29:22constantly having to take him back in
29:24his bags of clothes
29:26all his stuff
29:28the one time the last time their father
29:30came out and
29:32irate and just not even i think i don't
29:35even know if he knew lucas was in the
29:36car just opened the back of my car and
29:38started throwing all his crap and just
29:40throwing it like throwing it like the
29:42car would jostle he was throwing all his
29:43stuff
29:44at that point because i continually did
29:47it not continually i think i maybe did
29:49it three times and he has nowhere else
29:51to go
29:52they got fed up and said nope either
29:54you're staying there or you're staying
29:56here but if you're staying here at their
29:58place it's permanent you're not going
30:00back over there anymore
30:02so what happens is he pursues me
30:05so
30:06i don't know if you all know where katy
30:07way trail is
30:09okay so we it's literally right
30:12right there from our apartment
30:15would ride his bike to work
30:17but before he would leave extra early
30:19and come up to the wall stand on top of
30:21his bike and poke his head over because
30:23he would know that i would be outside
30:24having my morning
30:26cigarette and cup of coffee
30:28where and i would also know too what
30:30time he would get off of work where i
30:32would know
30:33come get off of work you can do the same
30:35thing
30:36so it's not like i ever got like a break
30:38from him where i told you all yesterday
30:41or whatever it was
30:42i started to feel that it was too much
30:44togetherness and when you have too much
30:47togetherness
30:48friction happens so i'm gonna go ride my
30:51bike i'm gonna go upstairs and read a
30:52book
30:53but what he
30:54every what did you say every waking
30:56moment he wants to be with me
30:58so
30:59and mind you our town home is either
31:01upstairs
31:02or downstairs so it's like if you would
31:05like to sit down stairs and watch a
31:07movie or play on the laptop look up some
31:09jobs you're more than welcome to
31:11i'm just going to be upstairs maybe
31:12watching one of my shows or maybe
31:14reading a book
31:15so and then when that would happen
31:19we really needed that so what's for
31:21dinner
31:22and then we would cook together
31:24and eat dinner and then crawl on the bed
31:26and watch the movie
31:28are you talking about this is like
31:29recent aren't you kind of like lost me
31:31like when what it was
31:32like a little while ago but right now
31:34you're talking about now you're talking
31:35about tension building up and that you
31:36need space so
31:38have you been feeling that way lately or
31:41okay no
31:44okay my thing is too so you all know oh
31:46i hate that you
31:48can't talk to her but
31:50um be his ex-wife when i say a monster
31:54she's a monster like it does she
31:56withholds
31:57her their children from speaking to him
32:00so he gets upset about that and then she
32:03like completely berates him about money
32:06about the father that he is what he did
32:08to her all this other stuff
32:11it doesn't matter i mean mind you this
32:13is not like been recent but which is why
32:16he didn't even bother calling anymore
32:17because he knows that he's she's gonna
32:19answer and he's gonna have to talk to
32:20her so therefore he can't talk to his
32:21daughter
32:23the other time he talked to her mate
32:25made her top to cookie that's on my cell
32:28phone too so you can see it
32:30it doesn't matter
32:32like

32:35what does she have to do though with
32:37anything about
32:38what happens sunday and into monday like
32:40no i'm just saying like previously
32:42why the incidents
32:44what happened is she plays a big part in
32:47it okay on top of jobs and money and
32:50groceries and all that okay sunday i
32:54when i tell you this i have no idea
32:57i have no
32:59idea is there anybody else at the house

33:07since talking yesterday do you remember
33:09any like time timelines better like what

33:13uh you guys were playing what time you
33:15he was zipped up in the
33:18luggage what time you guys stairs we
33:20started because we had we cleaned the
33:22house a little bit did some laundry you
33:25started the activities around four years
33:26yes around four or four thirties and
33:28then
33:29you just said that it was dark when you
33:30were playing hiding and seek and i'm
33:32just curious if you remember but when we
33:34were outside that's where we would start
33:36and talk about things and then
33:38eventually i was the one that had him
33:40come inside so because what time do you
33:42remember what time that was is what
33:44she's asking
33:47and she said you wanna you went up to
33:49bed around midnight midnight fellas
33:51sleep around 12 30 ish
33:53but those are the only times i have so i
33:55have four and i have midnight so there's
33:58a big gap so i'm just curious like
34:00if you recall when you went upstairs to
34:02hide in the shower or
34:05like when we started to play
34:07yeah
34:09well
34:10we went inside probably about
34:12if i had to guess we weren't we weren't
34:14out there too long maybe about six ish
34:18then you can come up from hanging out
34:19outside and like
34:21okay well we have two beach chairs that
34:23are out there right just enjoy the
34:25weather
34:26plus it's starting to get dark and mats
34:28and mosquitoes yeah so
34:30let's go inside i don't want to be out
34:32here anymore okay all right let's go
34:34so we're doing whatever we did it for a
34:36while because that puzzle i don't know
34:38if they took it or they saw it
34:40um worked on the puzzle again finished
34:43it
34:44started to paint well started listening
34:46to music for a little bit
34:48started to paint uh can we turn the
34:50music off no problem start at the top
34:53paint whatever
34:56maybe
34:59gosh that puzzle the on that for
35:01probably a good hour and a half
35:03so eight o'clock is
35:06is when you went to hide upstairs
35:08originally no that's when we were like
35:10painting so then it's like okay well we
35:13can't i don't want to paint anymore
35:14let's just ah come on
35:17okay you want to play hide and seek what
35:19he does is okay tag you're it well it's
35:21like okay we know okay take off
35:24that's what we did and then you went
35:26upstairs and then he didn't come up and
35:28you came down
35:29and the suitcase was there originally
35:31because you guys were planning to do
35:33donations including is already there
35:35um have you guys ever played the you
35:38said you played hide and seek like
35:39probably three times in your
35:40relationship
35:41when you have played have you ever
35:44zipped him up in a suitcase prior no
35:46okay
35:47so it was just kind of like that prop
35:48was there and it was there
