- 0:09emergency?
- 0:10>> 4748 France Court.
- 0:13>> Is this a police or medical?
- 0:15>> My boyfriend had said.
- 0:19>> Okay. Stay on the line for the fire

- 0:25>> Sorry, Rio. Tell me exactly what
- 0:26happened there.
- 0:28Uh, my boyfriend and I were playing last
- 0:29night and I put him in his case and we
- 0:32were playing like kind of hide and seek
- 0:34kind of thing. So, I fell asleep and I
- 0:37woke up and he was dead in the suitcase.
- 0:40So, I don't know what happened.
- 0:41>> Okay. Is he hanging from somewhere or
- 0:43what, ma'am?
- 0:44>> No, I pulled him out of the suitcase.
- 0:48>> He was in a suitcase?
- 0:49>> Yes. And I fell asleep.
- 0:51>> Right. Is he breathing?
- 0:52>> No.
- 0:52>> I need you to get him on the floor his
- 0:54back for me. Okay.
- 0:55>> I did. I did. I tried giving him CPR.
- 0:58>> Yeah. Purple.
- 0:59>> Okay. Listen to me. Lay him flat on his
- 1:01Okay. Ma'am, listen to me. I want you to
- 1:03lay him flat on his back for me on the
- 1:04floor.
- 1:05>> I did.
- 1:05>> Okay.
- 1:06>> He's stiff and purple.
- 1:07>> Okay, ma'am. That's fine. We're still
- 1:08going to do compressions on him. Okay.
- 1:10Place the heel of your hand on his
- 1:11breast bone right in center of the
- 1:12chest.
- 1:13>> Yes.
- 1:13>> Put your other hand on top of that hand.
- 1:15>> If I look at him, you can tell.
- 1:17>> Okay. And
- 1:18>> please. Okay. He just gurgled.
- 1:21>> Okay. Listen to me. Place the heel of
- 1:23your hand. Rub it to his chest. right
- 1:25between his breast bones. Put your other
- 1:27hand on top of that hand. We want we
- 1:29want to pump his testo hard and fast
- 1:31twice per second. 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4
- 1:39>> Sarah Boon and Horche Torres Jr. were a
- 1:42couple living in Winter Park, Florida.
- 1:44Their relationship was notoriously
- 1:46volatile, marked by a history of
- 1:48domestic disputes and multiple calls to
- 1:51law enforcement.
- 1:53On February 24th, 2020, what started as
- 1:56a night of drinking and playing hide and
- 1:58seek took a fatal turn. Sarah convinced
- 2:01Jorge to get inside a blue suitcase.
- 2:04Once he was zipped inside, she refused
- 2:06to let him out. Instead of helping him,
- 2:08Sarah used her phone to record agonizing
- 2:10videos of Jorge begging for his life,
- 2:13gasping for air, and screaming that he
- 2:15couldn't breathe.
- 2:24for everything you've done to me.
- 2:25>> Sarah,
- 2:26>> for everything you've done to me,
- 2:29>> Sarah,
- 2:30>> [ __ ] you,
- 2:34>> Sarah.
- 2:35>> [ __ ] you,
- 2:36>> Sarah.
- 2:38>> Stupid.
- 2:40>> Sarah,
- 2:42>> that's my name. Don't wear it up.
- 2:48I can't [ __ ] breathe, babe.
- 2:51Seriously.
- 2:52>> Yeah, that's when you do when you choke
- 2:54me.
- 2:54>> Sarah.
- 3:00Sarah.
- 3:06Sarah.
- 3:13>> Sarah. I can't breathe.
- 3:15That's on you.
- 3:17>> Sarah, I can't breathe.
- 3:19>> It's on you,
- 3:21>> Sarah.
- 3:27Reel around some. Now you want to get
- 3:30video for it extra
- 3:34cuz I got this terrible
- 3:38rest.
- 3:45Sarah, I can't I can't breathe, babe.
- 3:49>> Oh,
- 3:50>> that's what I feel like when he string
- 3:52on me.
- 3:53>> Sarah,
- 3:54I
- 3:55>> [ __ ] you breathe, Sarah.
- 3:58>> Yeah,
- 4:02you should probably shut the [ __ ] up.
- 4:09Holy [ __ ]
- 4:18Just let us know about any time you need
- 4:20more. Okay, I'm going to have you sit
- 4:23the green chair that doesn't move.
- 4:30Appreciate you coming in.
- 4:32>> Yes, ma'am. Can I I want to ask about
- 4:35these whenever we have a moment.
- 4:36>> Sure. Um, so obviously,
- 4:41um, he received his autopsy. So I'm
- 4:44going to read you your rights again
- 4:46because I we have to talk about that and
- 4:48since I'm talking about the incident, we
- 4:51just have to do it just like we did
- 4:52yesterday.
- 4:53>> Just like we did yesterday. Remember I
- 4:54read you the rights your rights? Yeah.
- 4:56So the exact same thing, but since I'm
- 4:57asking you follow-up questions, I need
- 4:59to read them to you. Okay.
- 5:00>> Sure.
- 5:01>> All right. So you have the right to
- 5:03remain silent. Anything you say may be
- 5:05used against you in court. You have the
- 5:07right to talk to a lawyer before and
- 5:08during questioning without charge. If
- 5:09you cannot afford a lawyer and want one,
- 5:11one can be provided for you before
- 5:13questioning without charge. Has anyone
- 5:15threatened you or promised you anything
- 5:16to get you to talk to me?
- 5:17>> No.
- 5:17>> And do you understand what I just read
- 5:19you?
- 5:19>> Yes. Perfect. Okay. So, this morning we
- 5:23went to his house um and we were
- 5:28informed of some injuries that he has um
- 5:32by the doctor. So, I want
- 5:36>> um so he's got
- 5:39scratch marks to his back.
- 5:42>> I know what that's from.
- 5:43>> Okay. And um it's called a contusion. Do
- 5:47you know what a contusion is? So, like
- 5:49basically you're getting hit and then
- 5:51you know you you get a mark from it.
- 5:53You'll get bruising
- 5:55>> like some someone hit you or something
- 5:56like that. It's called a a contusion.
- 5:59So, he had some injuries to his left
- 6:01shoulder. Um he had
- 6:05um he had a cut near his like lip. We
- 6:07could see we could see his um his mouth
- 6:10was a little
- 6:11>> I haven't laid a hand on him.
- 6:13>> Okay. I also too I he fell off my son's
- 6:17bike.
- 6:18>> Okay.
- 6:18>> So I don't know. And he's notorious for
- 6:20running into the wall or the hall tree.
- 6:23So I
- 6:24>> Okay. What What about the scratches?
- 6:29>> Cuz there's also sex. Yes.
- 6:32>> Okay. Cuz there's also like a like a
- 6:35scratch on like the back of his neck
- 6:37like kind of like going but it's like
- 6:39going straight across.
- 6:41>> I have no idea what that's from.
- 6:43>> And they're all recent. Like they they
- 6:45they occurred recently. It wasn't
- 6:47something that occurred post or that
- 6:49occurred a week ago or two days ago, 3
- 6:50days ago. They definitely occurred, you
- 6:52know, the night leading up to when he
- 6:54was.
- 6:54>> In all honesty, all honesty, we have not
- 6:57gotten into it.
- 6:58>> Okay. That's why like the only thing I
- 7:01thought you guys were going to ask me
- 7:02about, which I was going to be honest
- 7:04with you anyway, are the scratch marks
- 7:05when his back.
- 7:06>> Mhm.
- 7:06>> Everything else I have no idea what it
- 7:08is. No idea what it is. Nonetheless,
- 7:12I've had my son over the house, too. So,
- 7:15>> Well, your son was there when when was
- 7:17he last there?
- 7:18>> Oh gosh.
- 7:20>> My understanding he was there like last
- 7:21Tuesday.
- 7:22>> Last I don't know if it was Tuesday,
- 7:26but yes, he was there last week. So,
- 7:28>> well, we're talking about Sunday.
- 7:30>> We're make we're just talking about what
- 7:31occurred Sunday
- 7:32>> cuz like I said, the injuries are
- 7:35they occurred within that time period.
- 7:37>> So, you're talking about day before
- 7:38yesterday.
- 7:40>> Sunday leading into Monday.
- 7:42>> You called us yesterday at 1. So, but
- 7:44the incident you guys were painting and
- 7:46stuff the night prior,
- 7:47>> correct?
- 7:48>> So, we're talking about Sunday
- 7:50>> and then into thoroughly confused
- 7:52because we had a good time sitting on
- 7:56the back porch. having wine and smokeok
- 7:58on a couple of cigarettes and then
- 7:59decided to go inside and literally
- 8:01paint, do puzzles and play
- 8:04>> and listen to music. That's why
- 8:08nobody got out of sorts. That this is
- 8:10what's mindblowing to me. Like I don't
- 8:13>> Okay,
- 8:13>> I have no clue. Nobody laid a hand on
- 8:16anybody. He also had um like on the left
- 8:21side of his forehead he had basically
- 8:24bruising
- 8:25um and on on like his head and skull.
- 8:30>> I have no idea.
- 8:31>> As if something hit him.
- 8:33>> I consider not touched him.
- 8:36>> I have not touched him. I have not
- 8:39touched him.
- 8:40>> Then how would you get those injuries?
- 8:41>> Tell me and we'll both know.
- 8:44I have not touched him.
- 8:46>> Yesterday when we took photographs of
- 8:49your overall body um and they did the
- 8:51bugle swabs, did they go under your
- 8:54fingernails?
- 8:54>> No.
- 8:55>> Okay. Are you willing to let us
- 8:57absolutely
- 8:57>> swab underneath your fingernails?
- 8:59>> Go for it.
- 9:00>> Okay. I have no idea. And I don't want
- 9:04to seem out of sorts, but I have no
- 9:07idea. We had a good day.
- 9:09>> Mhm.
- 9:10>> It was a good day. We've had good days
- 9:12lately. Even considering everything
- 9:14that's going on with our jobs and life
- 9:16in general and ex-wives and everything,
- 9:19it's been good. Like, I don't even know
- 9:21where this is coming from.
- 9:24>> I think the last physical was probably
- 9:26You said I think what, a month ago,
- 9:29>> where you got the injury,
- 9:31>> right? You said that was a few weeks,
- 9:33give or take. Yeah.
- 9:34>> A few weeks. That was the last like
- 9:36physical altercation between the two of
- 9:38you.
- 9:39>> Um, you said a month ago he hit you with
- 9:41a curtain rod.
- 9:42>> Yeah, with a curtain rod. That's why I
- 9:43can't believe you guys didn't take that
- 9:44either.
- 9:48>> Like we've been good. I don't know if
- 9:50like it's since the last time he got out
- 9:52of jail. Like we've been good and he's
- 9:55been having his classes
- 9:57>> and his seeing his probation officer
- 9:59who's amazing. So
- 10:01>> what do you mean by good? What's your
- 10:03definition of good?
- 10:05>> The probation officer?
- 10:06>> Oh, no. You said you guys have been
- 10:07good. What's your definition?
- 10:08>> I've been good. I don't think you all
- 10:11understand. He comes at me all the time.
- 10:13He comes at me. So, it's either I flee
- 10:18or try to go upstairs and go to sleep.
- 10:20That's usually what it is. And I don't
- 10:22know if you talked to Brian about any of
- 10:23that, but most of the time when I flee,
- 10:25I go over there. So,
- 10:28right. But you're saying that you guys
- 10:29have been good. And when I asked you
- 10:31yesterday, there hasn't The last
- 10:33incident that you could remember was the
- 10:35curtain red incident, which you said was
- 10:37a month ago. So,
- 10:38>> give or take.
- 10:39>> Right. So, what do you mean by he comes
- 10:40after you? Like,
- 10:41>> he gets
- 10:43belligerently drunk.
- 10:45>> Like, I don't know if you all have
- 10:47looked through my phone yet and seen any
- 10:49of the pictures and the videos that I
- 10:50have taken.
- 10:52>> And the at one point I started
- 10:55documenting everything.
- 10:56>> Okay.
- 10:56>> So, you all will see in my pictures,
- 11:00bloody fingers, split foreheads, he
- 11:03split my nose. I've got this,
- 11:06>> right? I don't know if Brian told you
- 11:07about it where I had to have almost what
- 11:09I had one really bad surgery but then it
- 11:11got really really really really bad
- 11:13where I had to go like four or five more
- 11:15times afterwards for them to tend to it
- 11:17from him poking me in the back of the
- 11:18leg.
- 11:19>> Right.
- 11:19>> So it's
- 11:21>> then why are you still with him?
- 11:22>> Everybody asks me that when I tell you
- 11:24guys this
- 11:28I really love him. Like I do. And I feel
- 11:31like I can help him. like I feel like I
- 11:34could help him, which I did because he's
- 11:36come a really he came a really long way
- 11:39from where he was in Philadelphia to
- 11:41moving back to here and to dealing with
- 11:43everything else that he's been dealing
- 11:44with.
- 11:45>> I've really helped him. I've bailed him
- 11:47out of jail what, three times. I've gone
- 11:50to every single hearing and every single
- 11:52arignment, everything that I did for
- 11:53him. Gone to see all his public
- 11:55defenders, go to the state. I've gone to
- 11:57the state. I' I did everything for him
- 11:59because I'm trying to help him because I
- 12:01had I had hope in him and he was trying.
- 12:06I was really trying just and then he
- 12:09starts to think about things and it just
- 12:11I think he gets overwhelmed and then
- 12:12it's like the next thing I know he's
- 12:14drinking. So it's like, oh man, I know
- 12:17where this is going to go. So, I'm going
- 12:19to go upstairs and read a book or I'm
- 12:21going to go for a bike ride or I'm going
- 12:22to do something else where I don't want
- 12:24to drink. I DON'T WANT to drink the
- 12:27occasional wine, whatever. Or if it's a
- 12:30weekend, that's when you you have a good
- 12:33time, you don't have to wake up the next
- 12:35day. I have to wake up the next day and
- 12:37do things. I have to tend to Lucas. I
- 12:39have to take him to school. I have all
- 12:40this stuff to do.
- 12:42He doesn't know how to,
- 12:45I guess, maintain himself where I can do
- 12:5050 things at once and still know the 50
- 12:52things more previously prior than I need
- 12:55to get done. He can't process like that.
- 12:57He didn't process like that. So, it he
- 12:59would literally, not literally, but had
- 13:01smoke coming out of his ears. So, the
- 13:03next thing you know, he doesn't want to
- 13:04deal with it. I'm going to go get
- 13:06something to drink. So the majority of
- 13:09the time I would hang out outside or do
- 13:11something else because I don't want to
- 13:13drink
- 13:15and every time every time his job broke
- 13:19his heart and it made me sad because he
- 13:21had so much pride in his job and the
- 13:24store that he took care of so much
- 13:27totally went downhill
- 13:29>> and that broke his heart because he had
- 13:32put so much work and effort into fixing
- 13:34it up and his manager was awful
- 13:39and basically gave up on all of the
- 13:41employees. So, I think that had a huge
- 13:45bearing on why he would drink so much.
- 13:48His ex-wife is bonkers.
- 13:51>> She was all over him all the time. Send
- 13:54me money. Send me money. Send me money.
- 13:57How can I send you money when I don't
- 13:59have a job? and he's still trying to
- 14:02take care of me and Lucas by paying a
- 14:04bill here or there, getting some
- 14:06groceries. So, he always had something
- 14:09on his mind, which is why again, I got
- 14:12the puzzles and the paint to try to get
- 14:15him off OF IT SO WE DON'T HAVE A DRINK
- 14:17or he doesn't have a drink. So when you
- 14:20all see my phone, you can see all of the
- 14:23damage he has done to me and the videos
- 14:26of him smashing my television because
- 14:28he's belligerently drunk
- 14:31where most of the time I just don't want
- 14:33to be there and I try to help him. I try
- 14:35to calm him down.
- 14:37>> Eventually he just passes out.
- 14:40>> Well, yesterday it made it sound like
- 14:42you guys were just drinking like a glass
- 14:44or two. Like yeah, you obviously had the
- 14:47bottle, but you But you told me on the
- 14:49Yeah, but you told me on recording like
- 14:51that you were not drunk. He was not
- 14:53drunk. You guys were having a good time.
- 14:54>> I don't get I can't get drunk. Number
- 14:58one, I do not want to get drunk. I don't
- 15:02like being non-complimentist having my
- 15:04wits about myself. I don't like feeling
- 15:06out of control.
- 15:07>> Mhm.
- 15:09So, I'm just saying you're you're making
- 15:11it sound like like he's a raging
- 15:13alcoholic today and yesterday I was kind
- 15:16of asking you those questions and you're
- 15:17like a little defensive like no we're
- 15:20not alcoholics he we are not you know
- 15:24but you guys were both sober on Sunday
- 15:27to your knowledge because when I said
- 15:28you went and passed out you were like no
- 15:30I didn't pass out I just fell asleep so
- 15:33now it's kind of like what is it is were
- 15:36you guys drinking and it got out of hand
- 15:38And
- 15:39>> it got physical or is it
- 15:42>> Sunday was one of the better days that
- 15:44we have had in quite some time. He's
- 15:47dancing with my dog. You could see that
- 15:49too on the pictures. Him loving the dog.
- 15:52He loves the dog and dancing around
- 15:55having a good time and just
- 15:57just being happy kind of thing.
- 16:02He doesn't know. I can't. I mean, I can
- 16:06get like
- 16:08maybe two, three glasses of wine and
- 16:09I'll be fine, but I have to have my wits
- 16:12about myself because I don't know what
- 16:13to expect.
- 16:14>> Well, let's talk about Sunday. What was
- 16:15Sunday? How were you like how many
- 16:17glasses of wine did you have? How many
- 16:19glasses of wine did he have? The bottle
- 16:21was gone. I mean, I don't know if you
- 16:22poured any out. Yes.
- 16:24>> No, that was from previous.
- 16:26>> You said that there was a half bottle
- 16:28left over.
- 16:29>> Mhm. And then um that you had went or
- 16:33well I don't even know how the wine how
- 16:36did you guys get the wine for Sunday?
- 16:38I'm guessing he went to Publix. He's
- 16:41>> Does he do the does he like leave the
- 16:43house and you stay home or do you go to
- 16:45Publix? Like cuz
- 16:46>> sometimes I'll go with him.
- 16:47>> Okay. Do you go with him Sunday to
- 16:49Publix?
- 16:50>> So most of the time what happens is
- 16:52because the convenience store where we
- 16:54get cigarettes is here and then Publix
- 16:56literally is cattywampus to it.
- 16:58>> Okay. So, what he'll do is he'll start
- 17:00go by Publix and then on the way back
- 17:02catch the convenience store.
- 17:05>> Okay.
- 17:05>> Is that what he did Sunday?
- 17:06>> I I'm guessing that's what he did
- 17:08because the next thing I know he's
- 17:09walking in with a bottle.
- 17:10>> Okay.
- 17:10>> So, that's
- 17:12>> okay.
- 17:13>> It's him trying to be nice so I don't
- 17:14have to go out and do it. Plus, there's
- 17:16stuff that around the house that I had
- 17:17to take care of. So, that's usually what
- 17:19will happen. Or I'm folding laundry and
- 17:21he'll go run out and do whatever.
- 17:23>> Okay.
- 17:24So, where were you guys at on
- 17:29>> on drunkenness, not drunkenness on
- 17:31Sunday?
- 17:34>> You told us you weren't drunk.
- 17:35>> No, I was not drunk.
- 17:36>> I was not drunk.
- 17:38>> So, with him, I don't know.
- 17:42I I know when it's like, okay, man,
- 17:45where I had told him, slow down. It's
- 17:48starting to catch up with you. Slow
- 17:50down. Slow down. And another thing too
- 17:53is I don't like listening to music with
- 17:56him because he gets too involved in the
- 17:58music and the music that he listens to
- 18:00is
- 18:01a little rough around the edges and like
- 18:03just it makes me fractious listening to
- 18:06his music. So I kept asking him, let's
- 18:09not let's just you and me talk. You and
- 18:12me will just be the ones that are
- 18:13talking, which was fine because I mean
- 18:14he we were playing with the dog,
- 18:16whatever. And then it's like, okay, now
- 18:18let's do the painting. We just did the
- 18:20puzzle, took a break. Now, let's do
- 18:22this. Sure enough, sat down. We're
- 18:25sitting in there talking, laughing,
- 18:27talking about new movies. We're watching
- 18:29movie trailers
- 18:31while we're doing painting and all that
- 18:33other stuff. So, it's still background
- 18:34noise to him because I think that's what
- 18:36he's used to is having background noise
- 18:38where me I can sit in here all day with
- 18:40not a peep, but he always has to have
- 18:43some kind of background noise, which I
- 18:44didn't mind because the trailers were
- 18:45cool and he was interested in showing
- 18:47them to me getting excited about movies
- 18:50that were out or upcoming.
- 18:52>> Okay. So,
- 18:53>> on your laptop you're talking about.
- 18:54Okay.
- 18:55>> And I mean, and then it we it was
- 18:58>> you said it was a good day. like you
- 19:00guys didn't have any have any uh
- 19:03conversations about your relationship.
- 19:04You guys didn't go down like the rabbit
- 19:06hole like had too many to drink and you
- 19:08guys start getting
- 19:09>> Nope. When I tell you this, it made me
- 19:12so happy that he actually listened to
- 19:14what I I had to say with just we'll get
- 19:18through it. This will be fine. It's just
- 19:21it's it's a small hurdle that you and I
- 19:24together will get through because
- 19:26>> I'm talking about the money, jobs,
- 19:28>> daughters.
- 19:30>> Yes.
- 19:30>> Nothing relationship wise though like no
- 19:33issues relation like did you guys have a
- 19:35conversation about your relationship or
- 19:37was it just about
- 19:39>> what's going on right now?
- 19:40>> Got it. I try to evoke it from him so he
- 19:45gets it off his chest because I call him
- 19:47the volcano where eventually he's going
- 19:49to erupt,
- 19:50>> right?
- 19:51>> And what he has learned in his classes
- 19:53is to communicate
- 19:54>> which is a huge thing in a relationship
- 19:57where he has been practicing
- 19:59communication. So he actually talks to
- 20:01me about things and unbburdens himself.
- 20:04Put it on me. I'll sit there and try and
- 20:06figure it out for you. Like I have
- 20:08almost everything.
- 20:09>> Mhm. Not a worry. Just tell me. Get it
- 20:12out of you.
- 20:13>> Right.
- 20:13>> But it was when I tell you I was so
- 20:16happy. Like it was such a good day. I
- 20:19kid you not. The weather was beautiful
- 20:21outside. I'm the one that had him go
- 20:23inside so we can do puzzles and painting
- 20:25and listen to music or whatever else he
- 20:27wants to do. So then he starts doing
- 20:29whatever it is we're doing together in
- 20:32the living room and then starts talking
- 20:35because I think he gets comfortable
- 20:37with, okay, you know what? We're here.
- 20:39It is a good day. Let me go ahead and
- 20:42explain myself so I know. Nobody else
- 20:45knows, but I know. Nobody knew George
- 20:48better than I did. I say that I knew
- 20:50George better than himself.
- 20:53And I tried in every way, shape, and
- 20:56form. Ask everyone.
- 21:00But he's changed. He changed.
- 21:03>> And that's why you're still with him.
- 21:05Even though he's done all these things
- 21:06to you. And when I tell you I love him,
- 21:08I love him.
- 21:13>> Even when you have when you love
- 21:14somebody, you have limits.
- 21:16>> Everybody tells me that. All my
- 21:18neighbors don't tell me that. The office
- 21:20property manager.
- 21:22>> At some point, somebody
- 21:25gets enough then they have to to do
- 21:27something to defend themselves.
- 21:30>> I would just flee. And I don't know if
- 21:32you would like to see it on my phone or
- 21:34I think it's I think it's actually on a
- 21:36laptop. I actually because and you have
- 21:39to understand too I have like prior to
- 21:43classes and PO
- 21:46kicked him out how many times? I had him
- 21:48arrested how many times?
- 21:50>> But you also went down and bailed
- 21:52>> I know
- 21:53>> the next day.
- 21:54>> What's I know what's on your laptop.
- 21:57>> Um what was I going to tell you?
- 22:00Oh, previously.
- 22:03>> Mhm.
- 22:04>> I actually looked up how to file a
- 22:06restraining order.
- 22:07>> Okay.
- 22:08>> Because I would take him out his parents
- 22:10because of them constantly having to
- 22:13take him back in his bags of clothes,
- 22:17all his stuff. The one time, the last
- 22:20time, the father came out and I raped
- 22:23and just not even I think I don't even
- 22:25know if he knew Lucas was in the car.
- 22:27just opened the back of my car and just
- 22:29started throwing all his crap in. Just
- 22:30throwing it like throwing it like the
- 22:32car would jostle. He was throwing all
- 22:34his stuff at that point because I
- 22:36continually did it. Not continually. I
- 22:39think I maybe did it three times. And he
- 22:41has nowhere else to go.
- 22:43Well, we went inside probably about, if
- 22:47I had to guess, we were we weren't out
- 22:49there too long. Maybe about 6ish.
- 22:52Then
- 22:53>> you talking about from hanging out
- 22:54outside and like
- 22:55>> Mhm. Okay. Well, we have two beach
- 22:57chairs that are out there, right? Just
- 22:59enjoy the weather.
- 23:00>> Gotcha.
- 23:00>> Plus, it's starting to get dark and
- 23:02gnats and mosquitoes.
- 23:03>> Yeah.
- 23:04>> So, let's go inside. I don't want to be
- 23:06out here anymore. Okay.
- 23:07>> All right. Let's go. So, we're doing
- 23:09whatever. We did it for a while because
- 23:11that puzzle, I don't know if they took
- 23:13it or they saw it. Um, worked on the
- 23:16puzzle again, finished it. Started to
- 23:19paint. Well, started listening to music
- 23:21for a little bit, started to paint. Uh,
- 23:24can we turn the music off? No problem.
- 23:26Start at the top, paint, whatever.
- 23:30Maybe
- 23:34gosh, that puzzle we worked on that for
- 23:36probably a good hour and a half. So
- 23:388:00ish
- 23:40>> is my next hide upstairs
- 23:43originally.
- 23:44>> No, that's when we were like painting.
- 23:46So then it's like, okay, well I we can't
- 23:48I don't want to paint anymore. Let's
- 23:49just come on. Okay, you want to play
- 23:52hide and seek? What he does is, okay,
- 23:54tag your it, which it's like, okay, we
- 23:56know. Okay, take off.
- 23:58>> That's what we did.
- 24:00>> And then you went upstairs and then he
- 24:02didn't come up and you came down and the
- 24:04suitcase was there originally because
- 24:06you guys were planning to do donations
- 24:08and it was already there.
- 24:10>> Um, have you guys ever played the You
- 24:12said you played hide-and-seek like
- 24:14probably three times in your
- 24:15relationship. When you have played, have
- 24:17you ever zipped him up in a suitcase
- 24:19prior?
- 24:20>> No.
- 24:20>> Okay. So, it was just kind of like that
- 24:23prop was there and it was there and it
- 24:25was in play because
- 24:27>> Why do you say it like that though?
- 24:29>> I would never do that.
- 24:31>> You would never zip them up in a
- 24:32suitcase.
- 24:34>> Well, I mean, we were playing.
- 24:36>> No, I fine, but
- 24:37>> I'm saying I'm Well, I'm talking about
- 24:38hide-and-seek, which is a game. So,
- 24:41>> the suitcase originally is in our closet
- 24:44buried all the way to the back. If you
- 24:47Well, I know the CSI people saw our
- 24:50closet. Our closet needs to be cleaned
- 24:52out really bad. My son's clothes need to
- 24:55be cleaned out really bad because they
- 24:57don't fit him anymore and I'm tired of
- 24:58looking at him. So, he took it upon
- 25:01himself, including that suitcase to take
- 25:04it downstairs so we can get all of our
- 25:06clothes, our donations, and everything,
- 25:07and just leave the whole thing by the
- 25:11clothing and shoe thing at my son's
- 25:12school. Gotcha. No, we're just I'm just
- 25:15asking out of the in the past like have
- 25:18have you ever zipped him up in anything
- 25:21jokingly or not? But obviously I I
- 25:24understand you know you're claiming that
- 25:26Sunday it was a joking matter. You were
- 25:28laughing, he was laughing, but what I'm
- 25:30just asking is in the past like is it
- 25:32something that you guys normally do?
- 25:34>> Absolutely not.
- 25:36>> Okay. Um, we were actually this last
- 25:40game running out of places to hide
- 25:41because we have a town home where it's
- 25:43upstairs or downstairs. So,
- 25:47um, okay. So, do you remember making any
- 25:51videos or maybe having any cover
- 25:54anything any photos videos that you
- 25:57remember doing on your phone on Sunday?
- 26:03>> No.
- 26:04>> I think I took a picture of a dog. Okay.
- 26:08But your phone is password protected.
- 26:10You have the password. He has the facial
- 26:12recognition. So it's not like someone
- 26:14else could be on your phone.
- 26:15>> No, I have both. But
- 26:17>> you have the face and the password.
- 26:19Yeah. But he only has the face. Correct.
- 26:21>> No.
- 26:22>> To be able to get onto your phone. You
- 26:23told me that he looks at the phone.
- 26:25>> Oh, I misunderstood. I thought you were
- 26:27asking if I did. Yes, it's me.
- 26:28>> Okay. Does he have access to your phone?
- 26:30Cuz you said it's a Shar's phone. Okay.
- 26:32How does he have access?
- 26:33>> Sarah, can I buy your phone?
- 26:34>> Yeah, it's right there on the kitchen
- 26:35counter. Okay. But how does he get into
- 26:37it? Because it's password protection.
- 26:38>> He'll come and get it to me and I'll
- 26:39just do the face thing where sometimes
- 26:41too like he's look he'll joke with me
- 26:44and say, "Okay, I need to borrow your
- 26:45phone." He'll hold up while I'm cooking
- 26:47or doing something do the facial
- 26:48recognition.
- 26:49>> Okay. So, he doesn't know the password
- 26:50and he doesn't have the facial
- 26:52recognition.
- 26:53>> No, he is the only other person that
- 26:54would use your phone. I'm assuming other
- 26:56people.
- 26:56>> Well, Lucas,
- 26:57>> right? But Lucas wasn't there someday.
- 27:00>> Right. Um,
- 27:02so to your recollection,
- 27:06no videos on Sunday. Not that I'm aware
- 27:09of. Okay. I mean, I like I guess maybe
- 27:12it's like a picture of them, the two of
- 27:14Tess and the dogs
- 27:17>> and George and them dancing, but I mean,
- 27:20or it's just Tess.
- 27:22>> Mhm. Okay. Um, so I have something that
- 27:25I want to show you that we found. Um,
- 27:28and
- 27:30it was from your phone.
- 27:32>> Mhm.
- 27:35>> Can you see it?
- 27:38>> If you need to move it around, go ahead.
- 27:49>> No, I don't remember that.
- 27:50>> For everything you've done to me.
- 27:53>> For everything you've done to me.
- 27:54>> Your battery is about to die.
- 27:55>> Shut it up. Oh, okay.
- 28:00>> Let me
- 28:08>> The battery doesn't last very long.
- 28:10>> Yeah, it used to last a lot longer than
- 28:12that. I don't know what happened.
- 28:13>> Okay, let me just grab something.
- 28:15>> All right.
- 28:20No, I was just simply asking cuz um you
- 28:24had a look on your face when she asked
- 28:26you if you've ever done that before. You
- 28:27look kind of shocked and
- 28:29>> No.
- 28:30>> Okay. But why did you say it like that?
- 28:32Like
- 28:34>> I don't think you all understand who I
- 28:36am where
- 28:37>> Well, tell me.
- 28:38>> I mean, I've always been a straight A
- 28:40student. I am an outstanding mother to
- 28:43my son. I excel at everything.
- 28:47I
- 28:49I would not do that.
- 28:51>> You wouldn't lock some zip somebody in a
- 28:53suitcase.
- 28:55>> Well, I didn't like completely lock it.
- 28:58I mean, I opened it with one finger. I
- 29:00left enough in there for him to get out.
- 29:02>> Okay.
- 29:04>> And I wasn't planning on going upstairs
- 29:06and going to sleep.
- 29:08>> Okay.
- 29:16No, it was just the way you said it.
- 29:18>> You guys are scaring me.
- 29:19>> Why?
- 29:21>> Well, we just want you to watch this. It
- 29:22came from your phone. Don't you want to
- 29:24know what's on it?
- 29:24>> Yes, please.
- 29:41Is it long? Because I don't know how
- 29:43much I can take.
- 29:44>> Mm-m.
- 29:48>> I don't know how much I can take.
- 29:51>> I don't know how to find her.
- 30:01>> Do I have to watch this?
- 30:04I continuously throw up. I don't sleep.
- 30:06I don't want to see it if that's okay.
- 30:10>> Well, it's on your phone
- 30:12and you can either explain it or we take
- 30:15it for what it is.
- 30:16>> Yeah. We're just trying to give you the
- 30:17opportunity to tell us what's going on.
- 30:20That's it.
- 30:24>> It's that long. 2 minutes.
- 30:27>> For everything you've done to me.
- 30:29>> For everything you've done to me.
- 30:33[ __ ] you.
- 30:38>> That's you. Your voice,
- 30:41>> stupid.
- 30:43>> Sarah,
- 30:45>> that's my name. Don't wear it on
- 30:52me.
- 30:55>> Yeah, that's when you do shook me.
- 31:03I don't want to watch that, please.
- 31:09>> Last last time we talked to you, you had
- 31:11said that you put him in the suitcase.
- 31:13He had two fingers hanging out and you
- 31:15>> I flipped him over.
- 31:18>> I flipped him over and that's where it
- 31:20was.
- 31:21>> There's two different videos and a still
- 31:24picture where Yeah. It shows you
- 31:25flipping him in different positions and
- 31:28him saying that he can't breathe and you
- 31:30saying it's [ __ ]
- 31:31>> So this is upside down. So in order for
- 31:34him to have gotten into it,
- 31:35>> it was flipped up,
- 31:37>> right? It was flipped up normal like as
- 31:40if you're packing something. So this is
- 31:41upside down,
- 31:42>> guys. This is killing me right now.
- 31:44>> So this image, it's upside down. And
- 31:47then this small video that occurred 11
- 31:51minutes later, it's flipped over the
- 31:54other way
- 31:56closer to your dining room table.
- 31:58>> Okay.
- 31:59>> Now, he's obviously still in there. So,
- 32:01he didn't How did that How did it go
- 32:03from the back to the front?
- 32:04>> I flipped it.
- 32:05>> Okay.
- 32:08>> My plan was not to go upstairs and go to
- 32:10sleep.
- 32:12>> Well, that's what you did.
- 32:13>> Yeah.
- 32:14>> But not intentional. No, you told me you
- 32:17went upstairs because what
- 32:19>> you were getting ready for bed.
- 32:20>> Stop here.
- 32:21>> Okay. But here,
- 32:23>> show me where you can see any fingers
- 32:25coming out cuz there's the end.
- 32:28>> It's And his head's right here.
- 32:30>> Mhm.
- 32:30>> So, going like this rather than going
- 32:33all the way up. It's like this.
- 32:37>> But why is he saying I can't breathe?
- 32:39And why is he pushing on it as if he
- 32:42can't get out?
- 32:43>> It doesn't show a hole. There's no hole.
- 32:46There's no fingers. I don't see his
- 32:47fingers. There's no hole.
- 32:49>> I don't know what you want me to tell
- 32:50you. Like I don't know like what you
- 32:52want me to tell you.
- 32:53>> I'm just showing you I'm just telling
- 32:55you what we see and what we've heard
- 32:56from the other videos.
- 32:57>> I understand. I understand.
- 32:59>> He's begging to let for you to let him
- 33:01out. You sound You're laughing in the
- 33:05beginning and then in the end it sounds
- 33:07kind of like a no, it's not malicious.
- 33:10>> Well, saying [ __ ] you.
- 33:12>> It's not malicious. Then what is that?
- 33:15>> What does [ __ ] you mean to you?
- 33:18>> Well,
- 33:19>> like if you were to if I were to tell
- 33:20>> Oh, like he does. Like
- 33:22>> I get told everything but a white woman.
- 33:24So,
- 33:25>> okay.
- 33:26>> I My intention was not to leave him in
- 33:29there.
- 33:31Please understand that. My intention was
- 33:33not to leave him in there. But you went
- 33:36upstairs thinking that he could get
- 33:38himself out. But the video shows
- 33:42the point and I see his fingers and
- 33:44>> he'll be after any minute
- 33:46>> and then 30 minutes later he didn't show
- 33:48>> and he's telling me
- 33:49>> and I can't wait.
- 33:51>> Do you think he joking? You told me he
- 33:54was laughing and I
- 33:54>> We were before the video there's there's
- 33:56no
- 33:57>> We first got in there.
- 33:59>> Both of us were.
- 33:59>> So how long was he in there for? Like
- 34:02this video is at 11:12 when it starts.
- 34:04So was he in there for like a long time
- 34:06prior to you recording this?
- 34:07>> No. No. So, it goes from funny to no
- 34:11longer funny.
- 34:13>> You're the only one laughing.
- 34:14>> But I didn't think that he
- 34:17was like panicky. Like I didn't I
- 34:21>> So pushing up on a suitcase saying
- 34:23Sarah, Sarah, Sarah,
- 34:25>> I can't breathe.
- 34:26>> I can't breathe.
- 34:28>> George has done that in the past before,
- 34:30too, where it's just like he thinks that
- 34:32he's wo is me kind of thing where it's
- 34:34like I don't
- 34:34>> he's never been locked in a suitcase
- 34:36that he couldn't get out. So,
- 34:37>> it's kind of I thought it was crawling
- 34:40wolf, crying wolf kind of thing. Okay.
- 34:43>> And again, my plan
- 34:44>> but nowhere in there is he laughing. Is
- 34:47he joking? He is begging
- 34:49>> and you're the only one laughing.
- 34:51>> Okay.
- 34:52>> And you're the only one saying
- 34:54derogatory
- 34:56comments like you're mad.
- 34:58>> No, please don't. I don't mean to sound
- 35:02negative and I don't know if I can say
- 35:04this, but like it's like you guys are
- 35:06kind of trying to like feed me like
- 35:08>> No, I'm just trying to show you a video
- 35:09that you no longer want to watch because
- 35:11you probably don't want to know the
- 35:12outcome of how and what you said.
- 35:14>> Well, I know what
- 35:17>> you you know what's on that video now?
- 35:18No.
- 35:18>> You remember making that video?
- 35:20>> Oh,
- 35:21>> why don't you remember making the video?
- 35:23>> Probably because we had been drinking.
- 35:25>> But you weren't drunk. No, just because
- 35:28I went upstairs and just because you're
- 35:30drunk doesn't mean that you
- 35:32>> times that you were not drunk. You said
- 35:34that you had your wits about you. You
- 35:36said he had his wits about you.
- 35:38>> Mhm.
- 35:38>> You said that you don't like not having
- 35:40your wits. In my experience, if somebody
- 35:43cannot remember doing something to the
- 35:46extent of making two videos and a video
- 35:49and taking a photo,
- 35:51they are intoxicated.
- 35:53>> Okay, I understand where you all are
- 35:55coming from. Well, we're just trying to
- 35:56make sense of it. We're trying to figure
- 35:57out
- 35:58>> we're trying to figure out
- 35:59>> this video.
- 36:00>> Explain it to us. We're listening.
- 36:02>> I just did like we were playing and then
- 36:06like I thought it was
- 36:10my plan was not to go upstairs and go to
- 36:13sleep. My plan was not to He'll be up
- 36:16here any minute.
- 36:17>> But you willingly went upstairs and went
- 36:19to sleep. No one forced you to go
- 36:21upstairs and
- 36:22>> My plan wasn't also to leave him in the
- 36:24suitcase.
- 36:25So, why didn't you take him out? Because
- 36:27I went upstairs and then I fell asleep.
- 36:30But why didn't you consciously think
- 36:33he's asking to come out? He
- 36:34>> I didn't do it intentionally.
- 36:36>> What do you think is going to happen if
- 36:38you leave somebody in a confined space
- 36:40like that?
- 36:41>> Well, I thought by not zipping it up all
- 36:44the way, it would be okay. My plan was
- 36:47not to leave him in.
- 36:49>> But what was your plan?
- 36:52waiting for him to come upstairs
- 36:54and then when he didn't
- 36:56>> I fell asleep.
- 36:58>> You said you were up there 30 minutes
- 36:59after 30 minutes somebody not coming up
- 37:03>> knowing that you that the last time you
- 37:04saw him was in the suitcase 30 minutes
- 37:06later you're like
- 37:09maybe I should go check on him. Maybe I
- 37:11shouldn't. No.
- 37:12>> Well, you that didn't cross your mind
- 37:14because that's like an assumption. Like
- 37:16that's what you all are thinking. Just
- 37:18>> we're asking
- 37:19>> it's the whole
- 37:20>> tell us.
- 37:22>> It's the drinking.
- 37:27>> That's what it is. It's the drinking.
- 37:31I thought it was like I thought he was
- 37:34okay. Like I didn't that you
- 37:36>> He's telling you he's not. He's telling
- 37:38you Sarah, I can't breathe. He's saying
- 37:40your name and you're like that's my
- 37:42name. Don't wear it out,
- 37:43>> guys. That's how we are with each other.
- 37:48Like he has
- 37:50nobody understands our relationship.
- 37:52This the whole suitcase thing
- 37:56never happened before.
- 37:57>> Would you leave someone else in a
- 37:58suitcase? Would you leave Lucas in a
- 38:00suitcase jokingly? Cuz it was a joking
- 38:02matter. You put him in there jokingly.
- 38:04Would you leave Lucas jokingly in there?
- 38:06And you love Lucas, right? And you
- 38:08>> I wouldn't do that to him either. I
- 38:10wouldn't do that to him. So I I just
- 38:13>> Well, it's not like again I don't think
- 38:14you all understand like it's
- 38:18>> I mean
- 38:18>> it's not my that was not my intention,
- 38:22>> but
- 38:22>> y'all don't have any idea what I did for
- 38:24him.
- 38:24>> But by your acts and that's exactly
- 38:26right. You get to the point where you've
- 38:28done so much for somebody and they don't
- 38:30show you any appreciation.
- 38:31>> He did.
- 38:34>> Not by by your words in the video. I
- 38:37don't get that. He does
- 38:39>> because you bring up the fact that when
- 38:41he's choking you, you can't breathe.
- 38:43That's how you felt when he cheated on
- 38:44you, you couldn't breathe. And you
- 38:47verbally several times told him just
- 38:49[ __ ] you. You said it in the video.
- 38:51>> Don't let us play the rest of it cuz you
- 38:53don't want to.
- 38:54>> When I say cheating, it's on his phone.
- 38:58>> Okay. Cheating is cheating.
- 38:59>> I think so, too.
- 39:01>> Exactly.
- 39:01>> It's your definition of cheating,
- 39:03though. So, I mean,
- 39:04>> that's what the word cheat means. And
- 39:06that's what you told him in the video
- 39:08that I couldn't breathe when you cheated
- 39:10on me.
- 39:12>> No,
- 39:12>> that how I felt when he said, "Sarah, I
- 39:14can't breathe."
- 39:16>> And you told
- 39:17>> I don't know what you
- 39:19>> People have different personalities
- 39:20after they consume alcohol.
- 39:22>> It depends if like it's Well,
- 39:25>> cuz you're sober now. Sober you
- 39:29>> nice person. What about drunk you?
- 39:31>> Not
- 39:33it's both of us. It's both of us. And
- 39:37it's again, it's not fair that you all
- 39:40are assuming that the marks that he has
- 39:43on him are from me.
- 39:45>> We asked you where they came from.
- 39:46>> I have no idea.
- 39:48>> Well, nobody else was there, so nobody
- 39:49else is.
- 39:50>> I have no idea.
- 39:53I swear I did not lay a hand on him.
- 39:57>> Okay. You just zip them in the bag.
- 39:58>> Nor he.
- 39:59>> You just zip them in the bag and then
- 40:02you flip the bag around several times. I
- 40:04didn't do that intentionally.
- 40:06>> You didn't intentionally flip the bag
- 40:07around?
- 40:08>> No. Why would I do that?
- 40:09>> Well, you did
- 40:11>> when HE WAS UPSIDE DOWN, RIGHT?
- 40:14>> WELL, you had to put him upside down.
- 40:16>> You can't get in a suitcase upside down
- 40:17because the
- 40:19>> Oh my gosh.
- 40:20>> You put that body for Nobody else is
- 40:24there.
- 40:25>> That's a video showing the the suitcase
- 40:27in several different positions.
- 40:30So, it shows one, like she just said, it
- 40:33had to been on its back with the lid
- 40:35open for him to get in there for you to
- 40:36zip it up. Then it shows it on the other
- 40:38side with him in it. So, you had to flip
- 40:40it to there. Then there's another video
- 40:42where it's on his back again. So, you
- 40:44had to
- 40:44>> I'm leaving it like this, please. I'm
- 40:46leaving it like this. I did not
- 40:49intentionally do this.
- 40:52No malicious content or effort was
- 40:55towards this. No malicious. I would say
- 40:59does that help you sleep? But you're not
- 41:01sleeping. So
- 41:01>> I mean
- 41:03>> last night I maybe got an hour right
- 41:06>> in your voice you can hear the
- 41:07maliciousness. The [ __ ] you is very very
- 41:10>> you don't talk to people like that.
- 41:12That's not like a common like hey Scott
- 41:15[ __ ] you.
- 41:16>> That's not that's not common. It's not
- 41:18something people do.
- 41:19>> And no one that sees that is going to
- 41:21think that. Okay.
- 41:22>> So we were trying to give you an
- 41:23opportunity and and it is what it is.
- 41:27There's no maliciousness towards that.
- 41:30>> So, I would probably be telling myself
- 41:31that, too.
- 41:32>> My intent my intent was not for that to
- 41:36happen.
- 41:37>> But you went upstairs and went to bed or
- 41:40maybe you passed out. I don't know.
- 41:41>> Waiting for him. And the whole time
- 41:44frame thing, it's like it's regardless.
- 41:46>> That's not really fair. Regardless,
- 41:48waiting for him. It's not like you you
- 41:51walked up the stairs. No one can you
- 41:52can't fly up the stairs. No one can take
- 41:54you up their stairs. You go up the
- 41:56stairs. You lay in the bed and you wait
- 41:59for him. Who cares if it's 5 minutes?
- 42:01Who cares if it's 30 freaking seconds?
- 42:04He's begging for his life. He's begging
- 42:06to get out. You go upstairs.
- 42:09>> You leave him.
- 42:10>> It doesn't matter. So it could it get
- 42:12the time frame out of your mind. This
- 42:14like it doesn't ma it doesn't matter
- 42:16because
- 42:18there's this. So it doesn't matter
- 42:20anything what it is I say. So it makes
- 42:23no difference whatsoever. It's just you
- 42:25keep you're lying and like you're not
- 42:26you're now changing your story about
- 42:28what
- 42:28>> you're now now now you were drunk.
- 42:31>> Oh, I never said that I was drunk.
- 42:33>> Exactly. But you did here today.
- 42:36>> That's okay.
- 42:37>> You said earlier
- 42:38>> everything's everything recorded.
- 42:39>> You blamed it on the alcohol.
- 42:40>> You blamed it on the alcohol. Alcohol
- 42:42does a lot to people.
- 42:43>> Yes. But I never said I was drunk.
- 42:45>> You did.
- 42:46>> So you did this you did this sober. You
- 42:49knowingly left him down there sober. Uh
- 42:51I have already told both of you also
- 42:53that we were both drinking,
- 42:55>> right?
- 42:55>> Okay.
- 42:56>> But you want to admit that you were
- 42:57drunk. Is that
- 42:58>> I'm telling you all both.
- 43:01This has changed my life.
- 43:03>> I will take this.
- 43:06I don't know.
- 43:08>> Yeah, that's a true statement.
- 43:11>> Absolutely.
- 43:14But you're trying to dance around the
- 43:16fact that you
- 43:17>> But what are you okay? Just
- 43:20You left him in there. You did trying to
- 43:21dance around the back. You left him in
- 43:23there.
- 43:23>> This is not You didn't leave him in
- 43:25there. It's not It's not cool. Like,
- 43:27this is not cool. It's not cool. That is
- 43:28>> He's dead. It's not
- 43:29>> But you think that I did that
- 43:31intentionally.
- 43:34You think that I did that intentionally.
- 43:36>> You intentionally left him in there and
- 43:37left the room. You went upstairs to a
- 43:39different room.
- 43:40>> You intentionally did that.
- 43:41>> You You did?
- 43:42>> Yes. Because I'm thinking he's going to
- 43:44get out.
- 43:45>> Okay. And he didn't.
- 43:46>> Obviously not. When somebody's begging
- 43:49for their begging saying I
- 43:51>> When you say that though, BUT YOU HAVE
- 43:52TO PLEASE let me out. I can't.
- 43:54>> Y'all don't know George though like
- 43:56that.
- 43:58Again, I thought it was a boy crying.
- 44:00Well, so it was just like what? Oh, so
- 44:02if your son was in there and said I
- 44:04can't breathe, are you going to open it
- 44:05or is is he nine so he's not you know
- 44:08it's not a big deal?
- 44:10Question.
- 44:12>> Well, you said you would never put your
- 44:13son in a suitcase. You would only put
- 44:15George in there.
- 44:16No, George got in a suitcase
- 44:19>> and you zipped it up.
- 44:21>> Not all the way and not intentionally to
- 44:24leave him there,
- 44:26>> but that's what happened.
- 44:30>> But you keep going away from
- 44:31>> I don't know what I don't know exactly
- 44:33what happened. You went to bed.
- 44:36>> ARE YOU ALL TRYING to have me admit
- 44:38that? Like, are you trying to have me
- 44:39admit that? Because I will never admit
- 44:41it because it's not true.
- 44:43>> It's not true.
- 44:46I'm basically staying as a fact because
- 44:47that's what happened.
- 44:50>> Okay.
- 44:51>> You videotaped him asking to be let out.
- 44:54You go upstairs.
- 44:55>> So what, guys? So what? Like just I
- 44:58don't know what you want me to say other
- 45:01than it was not out of maliciousness or
- 45:05intentional.
- 45:08I don't know what or how I can say it. I
- 45:11love George.
- 45:13Love him.
- 45:15to this day still love him.
- 45:20Love makes you do a crazy thing.
- 45:21>> It doesn't do It's not one of those
- 45:23things where it's like, "Oh gosh, you
- 45:25know what? I've done enough for you at
- 45:26this point." I never gave up on him.
- 45:29>> Okay.
- 45:30>> Why I'm here today. I'm still not giving
- 45:32up on him.
- 45:35I would do anything for him.
- 45:37>> Well, you gave up checking up on him.
- 45:40>> I wouldn't let him out of his suitcase.
- 45:41>> Oh gosh. Okay.
- 45:48We're simply just trying to go through I
- 45:49mean again you gave us a completely
- 45:51different story that you churched up to
- 45:54this was such a a laughing matter.
- 45:56>> It was it was fun.
- 45:58>> Not by that
- 45:59>> all day. All day
- 46:00>> by that video that
- 46:03>> anybody looking at it does I don't think
- 46:04anybody will look at that video and go
- 46:05George is having fun right now.
- 46:08So, why is it you all think that I I
- 46:12y'all don't know me? You don't know me.
- 46:14Nope.
- 46:16Would do something like that? Especially
- 46:18having a 9-year-old son.
- 46:20>> I don't know. Nine-year-old son would be
- 46:23>> like, why are you so Why are you so like
- 46:26caught on what we think?
- 46:27>> Yeah.
- 46:27>> When you should be more concerned about
- 46:30what you've told us. It's because like
- 46:32you guys are like trying the things that
- 46:34the video shows that are opposite of
- 46:36what you told us and then what you've
- 46:37now
- 46:38>> like what is opposite?
- 46:40>> Well, you said that it was funny and
- 46:42you're the only one.
- 46:43>> We were playing before that.
- 46:44>> Okay. Um
- 46:46>> but then it stops.
- 46:47>> Yeah.
- 46:48>> It obviously stops being fun.
- 46:50>> Well, I
- 46:50>> cuz you're screaming at him. He's not
- 46:52going to get
- 46:52>> screaming at him.
- 46:54>> Sounds like screaming at me.
- 46:57I I don't know what you all want to me
- 47:00to tell you.
- 47:02In no way, shape, or form was this
- 47:04intentional
- 47:06at all.
- 47:09Ever.
- 47:10Okay. Are you still going to allow us to
- 47:12do your fingernails?
- 47:13>> Go for it. Go for it. Okay. Cool. All
- 47:15right. I'm going to get that set up.
- 47:22>> Do you need any more water? No, but when
- 47:24you come back and I ask about this.
- 47:27>> Yeah.
- 47:32>> So what?
- 47:33>> Just don't understand.
- 47:36>> So it
- 47:36>> I don't understand how your story
- 47:37changes so much to the fact
- 47:39>> how it's changing. Please help me
- 47:41explain understand. You went on about
- 47:44how this was such a playful thing and
- 47:46you guys were laughing and it probably
- 47:48was for a few minutes, but then it
- 47:50obviously changes. The whole demeanor of
- 47:52this whole situation completely changes.
- 47:55It's not the funny laughing matter. He's
- 47:57not laughing at all.
- 47:59>> I didn't think he was being serious.
- 48:02>> You absolutely sound serious when you're
- 48:05answering.
- 48:05>> I think so. Like just
- 48:07>> You don't think your voice You sounded
- 48:09serious?
- 48:10>> It's okay. I I don't know what you want
- 48:14me to tell you.
- 48:16It was a great day.
- 48:17>> Okay.
- 48:18>> It didn't end well. Obviously,
- 48:20>> I was going to say that's uh I mean
- 48:23>> I can't explain to you I can't explain
- 48:25to you how horrific it was.
- 48:28>> Okay.
- 48:29>> To find him. Horrific. Because I don't
- 48:32remember taking those videos.
- 48:33>> Okay.
- 48:34>> How horrific.
- 48:36I'm thinking he's in the bathroom. I'm
- 48:38thinking he's dumpsters in the laptop.
- 48:41I can't find him.
- 48:46>> So, what So, what's going to happen?
- 48:48Like,
- 48:49>> here's what gets me though is you don't
- 48:52remember taking videos. You don't know
- 48:54where he is. You don't remember him
- 48:55being in the in the suitcase and you're
- 48:57still telling me that you had your wits
- 49:00about you?
- 49:01>> How does that wits about him when
- 49:04>> See, that's the thing, too. But you can
- 49:06clearly tell. You can clearly tell that
- 49:09I had been drinking some. You can
- 49:11clearly tell.
- 49:13>> I had several people that came up to me
- 49:15in that apartment complex said that you
- 49:16were drunk on a daily basis and
- 49:20Right.
- 49:20>> regularly.
- 49:21>> Right. Um
- 49:23>> really
- 49:23>> right. Talk to the property manager.
- 49:25>> Talk to the property manager.
- 49:26>> Okay.
- 49:27>> Because it's not
- 49:28>> these are your neighbors. The one that
- 49:30live next to you. Your property manager
- 49:31does not live next to you. They see you
- 49:33every day. How many you had two
- 49:36neighbors you went to and asked to go
- 49:37use?
- 49:40>> You had two different neighbors that
- 49:41lived directly next to you. You asked to
- 49:42use a restroom and they told you no and
- 49:44turned you away. You had to go across
- 49:45the way to somebody else.
- 49:47>> No. Okay. Kim and Eli. Eli or Kim is not
- 49:51a nice person. She's just automatically
- 49:53not nice. Even after me and Lucas went
- 49:54over there and introduced ourselves,
- 49:56she's just not a nice person.
- 49:57>> Then why would you think she would let
- 49:58you use a restroom?
- 49:59>> Because Eli was in there. Eli comes over
- 50:02and talks to us sometimes, which I think
- 50:04pisses Kim off because he comes over and
- 50:07talks to us. The two of them, they're
- 50:09like super standoffish all the time. My
- 50:12neighbors down the street, down the way,
- 50:14their toilet was broken. They had stuff
- 50:16in the bathroom.
- 50:18>> So then they're like, "Go over there and
- 50:19try over there."
- 50:20>> There's two bathrooms.
- 50:21>> I wouldn't let somebody go upstairs and
- 50:23use my my personal bathroom. That's what
- 50:26the downstairs one is for. If it's
- 50:28somebody you like, would you or somebody
- 50:30you knew?
- 50:30>> They're in the process of doing all this
- 50:32stuff in the kitchen and they're stuck
- 50:34in the bathroom and the toy doesn't
- 50:36work. Just walk across the way. No
- 50:38problem. And of course they let me in.
- 50:42Them and them, they're together.
- 50:45They're part they're families.
- 50:48And nonetheless, if you really want to
- 50:49know, and I hope it doesn't get them in
- 50:51trouble, but he is over here legally, so
- 50:54he's trying to work on getting his green
- 50:55card. What does that got to do with you
- 50:57using the restroom?
- 50:58>> They didn't want to be involved.
- 51:00>> Show us your use.
- 51:01>> No, no, no. I was asking last night
- 51:03because, you know, I mean, we had
- 51:04several different people in the
- 51:06neighborhood come up.
- 51:07>> Eli and drunk on a regular basis.
- 51:09>> Eli and Kim. Eli and Kim. Okay. Did you
- 51:12ask any next door?
- 51:13>> Those are the ones next door that she
- 51:14asked to use the restroom and they said
- 51:16no.
- 51:17>> No, she said no.
- 51:18>> Okay.
- 51:19>> And like I said, she's not a nice
- 51:21person.
- 51:21>> They're coming. What are your questions?
- 51:23>> Yep. We can help you with
- 51:24>> who's coming
- 51:26>> to do the fingernail.
- 51:27>> You said that we
- 51:31>> and you don't have to allow us to do it.
- 51:33Just so you know. So don't think that
- 51:35it's
- 51:36>> I don't have a problem.
- 51:37>> Okay. Just make sure.
- 51:40>> So am I getting my phone back?
- 51:43>> No.
- 51:43>> Not today.
- 51:45>> Um what about Lucas's laptop?
- 51:48>> No,
- 51:48>> not today.
- 51:49>> Not today.
- 51:51>> What does that mean? We're still going
- 51:53through everything.
- 51:53>> Oh, that's fine.
- 51:55>> You're the one just telling us there's
- 51:56videos that we need to see on it. So, we
- 51:58need to do our due diligence that we go
- 51:59through everything.
- 52:00>> See, and that backfires on me now, too,
- 52:02because now you all think that I had
- 52:04even more in quotes intent to do what I
- 52:06did to him, which was not intentional.
- 52:09>> Okay.
- 52:09>> What's that?
- 52:10>> And that's
- 52:12correct.
- 52:12>> She's asking about your tag in your
- 52:14hand.
- 52:14>> No, but I'm asking if that's correct.
- 52:16>> No, I'm not going to agree anything that
- 52:17you're saying. I'm not that you're
- 52:20>> No. So, his purpose is not concerned.
- 52:23>> Mhm. Do you all inform her or do I need
- 52:26to call her?
- 52:27>> We don't need to. We don't have to
- 52:29inform her. So, if you would like to
- 52:30call her, you can. Are you saying cuz
- 52:32he's still on probation?
- 52:35>> No, but because of the nice lady that
- 52:37she is and all that she's done for him,
- 52:39I thought it I didn't know how it was.
- 52:41>> Legally, we just have to tell his
- 52:42parents and we don't go telling webody
- 52:45else.
- 52:45>> I didn't even know who his probation
- 52:47officer was. So, no, I wouldn't go tell.
- 52:49>> So, the same thing for classes.
- 52:51I need to do that too.
- 52:54>> Um,
- 52:55>> classes
- 52:56what?
- 52:57>> Substance abuse class and his batter
- 52:59intervention.
- 53:02>> You know, something else I just wanted
- 53:03to ask.
- 53:05>> So
- 53:07other than this,
- 53:10so initially what was the cause of
- 53:12death? She is still pending because she
- 53:15wants to hold the body for an additional
- 53:18day to see if more of those bruises turn
- 53:21into something bigger. Um, and she's
- 53:26doing some other tests that she's got to
- 53:28do. So, she's pending it for now.
- 53:31>> So, and that couldn't have been of him
- 53:33being in the suitcase
- 53:36>> or saying I physically get it.
- 53:38>> That's what she's determining.
- 53:41So,
- 53:41>> the the ones on the head, I I asked her
- 53:44could that have been from the suitcase,
- 53:45and she said she didn't think so.
- 53:48>> I didn't touch him, nor did he touch me.
- 53:52>> Okay.
- 53:54>> I'm leaving it at that.
- 53:56>> Okay.
- 53:58Um,
- 54:01so I don't know if you all know how to
- 54:03do this because I So, that's what I was
- 54:05going to get ready to ask you. So, are
- 54:07you all updating his parents today or
- 54:09when you get the final whatevers?
- 54:12>> Why does it matter? Why? What we tell
- 54:15his parents? What do you mean?
- 54:16>> Because I I
- 54:20>> we're going to have we're going to talk
- 54:22to with them.
- 54:22>> Yeah.
- 54:23>> Okay.
- 54:23>> I mean, I have to
- 54:24>> But it's going to come down to me.
- 54:27>> What do you mean?
- 54:28>> Like, so it's being put on me.
- 54:32>> Who said that?
- 54:33>> But I So, what is it? We tell them we're
- 54:36going to give them an update just like
- 54:37we gave you an update on their autopsy.
- 54:40Okay. So, it's whatever brere's
- 54:44the thing.
- 54:44>> Whatever the head we had to deliver news
- 54:46to them last night that their son was
- 54:47dead. There's not a whole lot of
- 54:48conversation that goes on after that.
- 54:51It's not a very easy thing.
- 54:52>> Was it yesterday or Sunday?
- 54:55Sunday. Today's Tuesday, right?
- 54:58>> Did we not meet you yesterday?
- 55:02We met you yesterday.
- 55:04Yeah,
- 55:05>> I'm just asking.
- 55:08Right. Did we not meet yesterday?
- 55:12>> It's a valid question.
- 55:14>> Uh, really?
- 55:16>> Yes, on Monday.
- 55:17>> Okay.
- 55:18>> Okay.
- 55:22>> Got it. Perfect.
- 55:26So, I don't know if I ask you guys or
- 55:28how I find this out other than talking
- 55:30to his parents, which not going to
- 55:33happen.
- 55:33>> Yeah, probably a terrible idea.
- 55:37>> What how do you guys suggest me finding
- 55:39out about funeral?
- 55:44>> That's not even something that's been
- 55:46probably talked about between the
- 55:48family. That's not something we ask. We
- 55:50have no way of
- 55:52>> I didn't know. That's why I'm asking.
- 55:55So,
- 55:55>> it'll be up to them to make their
- 55:56arrangements of what they want to do.
- 55:57Like, she just told you this quick, just
- 56:00being told last night. I'll pretty much
- 56:02be willing to wager that they have not
- 56:05even considered what they're going to
- 56:07do.
- 56:08>> Body can't even be released. So, I've
- 56:10been there with parents, grandparents,
- 56:12aunt, uncles. Um,
- 56:16so I don't know if I have the right to
- 56:18or not, but like I was going to call his
- 56:21former employees whom he really cared
- 56:24for and let them know.
- 56:27>> You can call whoever you want.
- 56:29>> I just don't want to do something that
- 56:30I'm not supposed to. Um,
- 56:34how do I go about getting his
- 56:37um, wedding ring, engagement ring?
- 56:40>> It's at the medical examiner's office.
- 56:41It'll come to us eventually and
- 56:44>> it'll be released to the to the next
- 56:46Kim.
- 56:47>> Yeah. Okay. I bought a swine.
- 56:50>> Okay.
- 56:50>> That is a civil issue.
- 56:52>> It was on his finger. It goes to them.
- 56:54They're the ones that going to release
- 56:55it. We don't have any say in that.
- 56:57>> Sure. I won't get that back.
- 57:04>> So, for all of this, like, how do I find
- 57:07out what's what, how many, like what's
- 57:09been found?
- 57:10What do you mean?
- 57:12>> Uh, pillow with stain, swabs of stain
- 57:15from pillow suitcase. That will all be
- 57:18sent off to
- 57:19>> FD
- 57:20>> a daily Florida Department of Law
- 57:21Enforcement, they do their testing.
- 57:23>> So, and then like whatever white
- 57:27can with blood and necktie with blood
- 57:29was from the suitcase.
- 57:31>> Correct.
- 57:33>> Why would you guys Oh, you'll see it in
- 57:35there. the baseball bat for Lucas and
- 57:38the sele. And this is just his phone, my
- 57:43phone, and then the laptop.
- 57:47>> Yeah. When anything can be released, we
- 57:49will release it. But we are very early
- 57:50in this investigation. And
- 57:54it's not an overnight process,
- 57:55unfortunately.
- 57:56>> So,
- 57:58what's next?
- 58:00>> They're going to come and swab your
- 58:02fingers. No, I'm talking about like in
- 58:04the long run like what do I need to like
- 58:07do I need to be doing something or like
- 58:10>> I can't tell you like what to do.
- 58:12>> I mean like so like for
- 58:15like I don't understand like I don't
- 58:17know if you guys are just going to like
- 58:19because it makes it sound like to me
- 58:21like I'm being accused of something that
- 58:24was not intentional. I'm being accused
- 58:26of it.
- 58:27>> Mhm.
- 58:28>> And a handful of other things that I'm
- 58:30being accused of.
- 58:31>> Okay. So, I don't want to be at home
- 58:34with Lucas and you guys show up.
- 58:37>> Okay.
- 58:59So, I'm just going to take your swab and
- 59:01go around on one hand and then do a
- 59:03separate one for your other hand. Okay.
- 59:21Britney.
- 1:02:25Another
- 1:03:59Yeah.
- 1:04:14Stop.
- 1:04:57a little bit.
- 1:04:58>> Thank you.
- 1:05:05>> Okay, I'm done with all these
- 1:05:10Okay, Sarah.
- 1:05:13So,
- 1:05:15you're not free to go. Okay.
- 1:05:19Oh, do you promise everything you told
- 1:05:21us was the truth or no?
- 1:05:26Everything we've talked about today?
- 1:05:28>> Yes. What do you mean?
- 1:05:30>> I He has to swear. Remember how I swore
- 1:05:33you yesterday on the on the audio
- 1:05:35recording? I just forgot. So he raised
- 1:05:37his hand to remind me to tell you.
- 1:05:39>> Okay.
- 1:05:40>> Do you promise and swear that everything
- 1:05:41we talked about today has been true and
- 1:05:42accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- 1:05:45>> For which
- 1:05:46>> true and accurate to the best of your
- 1:05:47knowledge?
- 1:05:48>> What? That it wasn't intentional?
- 1:05:50>> Everything you've said today.
- 1:05:52>> Everything that's come out of your mouth
- 1:05:53has been true and accurate to the best
- 1:05:55of your knowledge.
- 1:05:57>> To the best of my knowledge.
- 1:05:58>> Correct.
- 1:06:00>> Yes.
- 1:06:02>> Why? Because anytime we talk to
- 1:06:04somebody, we want to assure that
- 1:06:07everything that we've talked about is
- 1:06:09>> true and accurate to the best of that
- 1:06:11person's knowledge.
- 1:06:12>> It's not a trick question.
- 1:06:13>> To the best of my knowledge.
- 1:06:15>> To the best of your knowledge.
- 1:06:16>> Everything that you've told us today is
- 1:06:17true and accurate to the best of your
- 1:06:18knowledge.
- 1:06:20>> Yes. But it was not intentional.
- 1:06:22>> Okay.
- 1:06:25Okay.
- 1:06:26>> All right. Do me a favor. Stand up.
- 1:06:29I need you to turn around. Face the
- 1:06:30wall. Put your hands behind your back.
- 1:06:32Do you have anything in your pockets
- 1:06:33that I should know about?
- 1:06:34>> No.
- 1:06:35>> Okay.
- 1:06:39>> Why is this happening?
- 1:06:41>> Because George is dead.
- 1:06:44>> Not intentionally.
- 1:06:45>> We understand that.
- 1:06:46>> He's still dead.
- 1:06:48>> Well, we don't.
- 1:06:49>> Someone needs to call Brian, please.
- 1:06:51>> Okay.
- 1:06:51>> Or can I not make a phone call?
- 1:06:53>> You'll be able to make a phone call when
- 1:06:55we get you down to the jail.
- 1:06:57>> So, why
- 1:06:58>> So, this was a trick.
- 1:06:59>> No, it's not a trick. How's this a
- 1:07:01trick?
- 1:07:03>> You came in here to ask you to explain a
- 1:07:05few things to ush
- 1:07:06>> and
- 1:07:07>> you were read your rights.
- 1:07:10>> Your response to everything was
- 1:07:14basically I didn't do it
- 1:07:16>> intentionally. I should go through that.
- 1:07:18>> Doesn't matter. It's still there.
- 1:07:21Do me a favor. Have a seat.
- 1:07:30Really, guys?
- 1:07:32>> Really?
- 1:07:33>> So, if I didn't show up,
- 1:07:37>> Sarah Boon genuinely believed she was
- 1:07:39going home that day. Instead, she was
- 1:07:41about to face reality. For over 4 years,
- 1:07:44she dragged out the legal process,
- 1:07:46changing 10 different attorneys and
- 1:07:48turning the case into a circus. But her
- 1:07:50time ran out.
- 1:07:53In October 2024, a jury took less than
- 1:07:5690 minutes to find her guilty of
- 1:07:58seconddegree murder. Two months later,
- 1:08:01Sarah Boon was sentenced to life in
- 1:08:03prison. She left Horic to suffocate in
- 1:08:06total darkness. Now she will spend the
- 1:08:08rest of her days behind bars.
