  1. 0:00Still randomly pulling up your sagging
  2. 0:01skin? The real issue might be beneath
  3. 0:04it. Weak or underactive mid-face muscles
  4. 0:07that are supposed to pull your face up.
  5. 0:09Here's a quick self test. Can you lift
  6. 0:11your upper lip without scrunching your
  7. 0:13nose? Can you lift one corner of the
  8. 0:15mouth without moving the other side?
  9. 0:17Now, if that feels surprisingly hard,
  10. 0:20your mid-face muscles need a
  11. 0:21reactivation. So, today I'll show you
  12. 0:23three steps [music] to reactivate the
  13. 0:26upward pull and help your face look more
  14. 0:29lifted and well-defined. [music]
  15. 0:30First, we wake up the muscles that lift
  16. 0:32the center of your mid-face.
  17. 0:34Relax your jaw and keep your forehead
  18. 0:37and eyes [music] completely still.
  19. 0:41Now, slowly lift your upper lip straight
  20. 0:43up just enough to show [music] your
  21. 0:44upper teeth.
  22. 0:46The key is isolation. Don't scrunch your
  23. 0:48nose. Don't squint.
  24. 0:50Lift, hold for 3 seconds, [music] and
  25. 0:52slowly release. You should feel the area
  26. 0:55beside your nose and through the upper
  27. 0:57cheek start to engage.
  28. 0:59Now, we move our word and activate
  29. 1:00[music] the muscles that lift the
  30. 1:01corners of your mouth and cheek.
  31. 1:04Keep your face completely relaxed. Lift
  32. 1:06just one [music] corner of your mouth
  33. 1:09toward the cheekbone. Remember, don't
  34. 1:12[music] smile wider, smile higher.
  35. 1:15Hold for 3 seconds and slowly release.
  36. 1:20Try not [music] to compensate by
  37. 1:21scrunching your eyes or twisting your
  38. 1:23jaw. We want the movement to come from
  39. 1:25the cheek.
  40. 1:29You may notice [music] one side is much
  41. 1:31harder to control than the other. That's
  42. 1:33completely normal. Focus [music] on
  43. 1:35making the movement smaller and cleaner
  44. 1:37rather than forcing it higher.
  45. 2:01>> [music]
  46. 2:01>> Step three, full face release.
  47. 2:04Now, let's release the entire face.
  48. 2:06Relax your wrist [music] completely and
  49. 2:08using the pads of all 10 fingers, gently
  50. 2:11tap all over your face.
  51. 2:13Keep your hands loose and let the
  52. 2:14movement come from your wrist, not from
  53. 2:16force in your fingers.
  54. 2:18Tap across your cheeks, around your
  55. 2:20mouth, along the jaw, and move up to
  56. 2:23your temples and forehead. [music]
  57. 2:25Keep it light, quick, and relaxed.
  58. 2:28And that's it. Instead of constantly
  59. 2:30pulling [music] your skin upward, train
  60. 2:32the muscles underneath to do the
  61. 2:34lifting. Practice daily for 2 weeks and
  62. 2:36[music] let me know which side is
  63. 2:37harder. If you want more simple
  64. 2:39practices for a naturally lifted face,
  65. 2:41follow the Eastern Diary.
