22. 3:52Mother Leslie and uh and this is our
23. 3:55team God bless her def owner and she's
24. 3:59one all the information so that's where
25. 4:01you probably want to address your
26. 4:02question to so thank you for your
27. 4:05patience I wanted to start by uh reading
28. 4:08a statement uh that Ryan wrote out for
29. 4:12everyone because I thought it would be
30. 4:14better to have his words um it says
31. 4:18thank you everyone for your continued
32. 4:21support we've won a major
33. 4:24battle however the war continues I need
34. 4:29your help more now than ever look
35. 4:32forward to sitting at the Thanksgiving
36. 4:35table with my family if Justice permits
37. 4:41all the best Ryan fison so I can take
38. 4:44questions um by way just talk about what
39. 4:49the next step is in getting I
40. 4:54about we we filed the bond motion this
41. 4:57afternoon and at about 4:30 we got a
42. 5:01court
43. 5:01order uh giving the state 7 days if they
44. 5:06want to file objections to the bond
45. 5:08motion so they've got seven days to do
46. 5:11that after that we they then have the
47. 5:15option of trying to transfer the case to
48. 5:17the Illinois Supreme Court or I'm sorry
49. 5:19I'm still in Illinois uh in the to the
50. 5:22Missouri Supreme Court uh after they
51. 5:25file a motion to reconsider so the balls
52. 5:27in their court now they can abandon all
53. 5:31of this or they can continue on is there
54. 5:34any indication of what the state is
55. 5:37planning to do next no but I think we
56. 5:39will know that um I think we'll have
57. 5:42some discussions with them in the next
58. 5:44couple of days so you just got back from
59. 5:47visiting with Ryan tell me what what it
60. 5:49was like talking to him this afternoon
61. 5:51it was great um I haven't seen him smile
62. 5:54a lot in the last year um ever since the
63. 5:58decision last year here at this time so
64. 6:01he was um he looked really happy he was
65. 6:05smiling a lot he was making jokes um he
66. 6:10uh he's he's a very calm person um but I
67. 6:15think for the first time I could really
68. 6:17see some joy in his face which I have
69. 6:20not seen before so I think he was a l
70. 6:24this is a wonderful opinion um everyone
71. 6:28should read it because It's A Treatise
72. 6:30on habius law in Missouri it's
73. 6:33beautifully crafted and it deals with
74. 6:36every single detail of the case and um I
75. 6:41don't think that there's any way that it
76. 6:43will be overturned but if they want to
77. 6:46battle on we're always up for a fight so
78. 6:49we'd rather not have it go that way now
79. 6:52people seem to have the impression uh
80. 6:54people on the street that he's uh being
81. 6:56released because he's not guilty when in
82. 6:59fact the actual reason for release is
83. 7:01this technicality what is the reaction
84. 7:04well no no constitutional violations are
85. 7:06not
86. 7:07technicalities there are there are Brady
87. 7:10violations it's the most serious thing
88. 7:13that can happen with a trial when the
89. 7:15court has said this trial was not fair
90. 7:18because it violated the Constitution
91. 7:21this is not a technicality and then the
92. 7:24court went through meticulously all the
93. 7:27numerous pieces of evidence that were
94. 7:29undisclosed to the
95. 7:31defense um so this was not a fair trial
96. 7:35and they analyzed it all against the
97. 7:37backdrop of the two main Witnesses
98. 7:40having recanted and saying that they had
99. 7:42committed perjury so make no mistake
100. 7:45about it there's no case in the United
101. 7:47States like this case um so it's it's
102. 7:50not a technicality that's a layman's
103. 7:53term but that's not a correct legal term
104. 7:56there's no physical evidence there no EV
105. 7:58now how can

107. 8:03well you know it would it would seem to
108. 8:06be um hard to believe but I don't want
109. 8:10to presume anything in this case um
110. 8:13hopefully rational Minds will prevail
111. 8:16and look at this um what's to be gained
112. 8:18by it but I could not guess what will
113. 8:22happen uh what they will decide to do
114. 8:25what
115. 8:27about about it's really not an issue in
116. 8:30this I think the court in in this sense
117. 8:34the court was careful to say it didn't
118. 8:36matter if the prosecutor knew about all
119. 8:39these violations it was the fact that
120. 8:42these violations had all occurred in
121. 8:44fact the language that they used was it
122. 8:46was the trademark the trademark of this
123. 8:51prosecution and whether it was an
124. 8:53investigator or the prosecutor knew made
125. 8:56no difference to this court but there
126. 8:58were numerous violations that were
127. 9:01described in the court
128. 9:03opinion you've done more than a dozen of
129. 9:05these can you explain why to the
130. 9:07audience who says why does it take so
131. 9:09long to get a resolution in a case like
132. 9:11this why does it take years months to
133. 9:15get well this is our 15th exoneration my
134. 9:20office and there have been three people
135. 9:22that we've gotten exonerated while we've
136. 9:25been working on Ryan's case the last
137. 9:27person that we got out just a month ago
138. 9:30had been in 23 years now we had only
139. 9:33represented them for a year but it's
140. 9:36just the nature of the of the review
141. 9:39process it's extremely difficult it's
142. 9:41really simple to convict someone who's
143. 9:44innocent if you have witnesses who are
144. 9:47lying it's very simple it is
145. 9:50unbelievably difficult and complex to
146. 9:52undo a conviction like that and you can
147. 9:55tell that's why I recommend everyone
148. 9:58study this opinion because it shows the
149. 10:01complexity of the law and how difficult
150. 10:04this is um courts don't like recognizing
151. 10:08that mistakes have been made but the
152. 10:11Brady violations really deal with the
153. 10:14fairness of the trial did this person
154. 10:16have a fair trial and that's what this
155. 10:18case that's why the conviction was
156. 10:20vacated this was not a fair trial and
157. 10:23can you clarify for us uh if there's any
158. 10:26legal action that your office or the
159. 10:28Ferguson family can take uh against the
160. 10:31state or any other party to uh you know
161. 10:34rectify the years that he spent in
162. 10:36prison well certainly there is but until
163. 10:39Ryan Ferguson is sitting at the
164. 10:41Thanksgiving table I'm not going to sit
165. 10:43here and and talk really about that just
166. 10:46to say to you that there are civil
167. 10:48rights cases we're doing a trial in
168. 10:51Washington next month for a police
169. 10:53officer who was framed and was in for 20
170. 10:57years so yeah there are there civil
171. 10:59actions but we just want to get Ryan
172. 11:02Ferguson out the front door of the
173. 11:04prison so i' Ryan's mother or father if
174. 11:07you had a chance to talk to him today
175. 11:09tell us what you what the conversation
176. 11:11was about and what you what you hoping
177. 11:12to do when he's out uh yes we were
178. 11:14fortuned to speak to him early this
179. 11:16morning and uh he was extremely happy
180. 11:19obviously elated relieved but knowing
181. 11:23that we have a long battle ahead of us
182. 11:26as Kathleen just mentioned with the
183. 11:28state deciding whether or not they're
184. 11:29going to pursue another trial or not and
185. 11:32until he's free then he's not free and
186. 11:35you looked at the here at the very early
187. 11:39you guys gone this all what was your
188. 11:46feel well we always knew that uh that he
189. 11:51would be free eventually it wasn't it
190. 11:54wasn't a matter of if it was a matter of
191. 11:57when so when we read the unanimous and I
192. 12:00canot emphasize that enough the
193. 12:01unanimous opinion of all three judges
194. 12:04who actually looked at the case rather
195. 12:06than a r stamp it like we've seen in the
196. 12:08past then we always knew this they we
197. 12:11done and and it really using confidence
198. 12:14when you have a great
199. 12:18attorney about you what about
200. 12:21you everything said I mean it is really
201. 12:25an exciting moment for our family and
202. 12:29It's just sad that hear all of this is
203. 12:33going on and Ryan still can't be a part
204. 12:35of it so until he is free he's not free
205. 12:39I mean we're we are looking forward to
206. 12:43that day when he can walk out of there
207. 12:46and trly be
208. 12:50free the ruling um was very specific but
209. 12:52it was also very broad one takeaway from
210. 12:56quing from the document that says is not
211. 13:00a or confidence what does that tell you
212. 13:04that the broad nature of that what does
213. 13:06that tell you about the St and also
214. 13:07about your prospects for getting I think
215. 13:10that that's an unusual comment because
216. 13:12the standard is is the verdict worthy of
217. 13:15confidence but for the court to go on
218. 13:17and say that it's not worthy of judicial
219. 13:20or public confidence I think speaks to
220. 13:24the fact that Common Sense would tell
221. 13:29anyone that when you don't have any
222. 13:31evidence someone should not continue to
223. 13:34be locked up so I mean I think the court
224. 13:38went extremely far in in condemning what
225. 13:42had happened you think that well for the
226. 13:48future absolutely I think this this
227. 13:51opinion this court these three judges
228. 13:54are certainly among the best judges in
229. 13:57Missouri and we knew that when we drew
230. 14:00them as a panel this is just an
231. 14:02outstanding panel that knows and has
232. 14:05been involved in in other exonerations
233. 14:08in Missouri they absolutely know what
234. 14:10the law is um and I can't imagine that
235. 14:15this would be overturned by the Missouri
236. 14:17Supreme Court and I've been talking to
237. 14:19Missouri attorneys all day as we drove
238. 14:22over here and people felt that this
239. 14:24opinion is
240. 14:26bulletproof will this case in any set a
241. 14:29precedent for future cases like this
242. 14:31absolutely this case will be for years I
243. 14:35think the leading case in Missouri on
244. 14:37habus law this absolutely is that well
245. 14:41crafted uh that it will be the leading
246. 14:44case um in many different aspects but
247. 14:47definitely what does this case say you
248. 14:51have just based on statement made
249. 14:55by locked up
250. 14:59well remember though that you have two
251. 15:01witnesses who lied and and you have one
252. 15:05witness who said they committed the
253. 15:06murder with Ryan and you have another
254. 15:08witness that placed Ryan there and so
255. 15:11the jury sitting there they're not
256. 15:13thinking they're listening to perjured
257. 15:15testimony they think they're listening
258. 15:17to the truth so I don't think it was
259. 15:20surprising that there was a conviction
260. 15:23because of the testimony itself what no
261. 15:26one knew was all the evidence that was
262. 15:28conceed sealed and that these two
263. 15:30witnesses were lying so that's what's
264. 15:33taken so long to
265. 15:37unravel what was your advice to Ryan
266. 15:41today I think when we um parted that the
267. 15:47the message that Doug Johnson and I
268. 15:49conveyed to him was that we'll never
269. 15:52stop fighting for him and that we're
270. 15:54going to walk out the door of that
271. 15:56prison with him and we're going to do it
272. 15:59sooner rather than later and our goal is
273. 16:02to have him sitting at the Thanksgiving
274. 16:04table with these three people so um
275. 16:08there is no ends to which you know we
276. 16:11won't go to get him out um we are going
277. 16:14to do everything
278. 16:16possible and there there are hundreds of
279. 16:20thousands of people in the country
280. 16:21following this case probably
281. 16:24Millions so if if the Italian government
282. 16:27can let Amanda Knox go even though her
283. 16:30confession was coerced surely a young
284. 16:32man who's done nothing but protest his
285. 16:34innocence when there is no evidence her
286. 16:37DNA is on the knife they think was the
287. 16:40murder weapon surely in America someone
288. 16:43like that should be set
289. 16:46free this cannot be American
290. 16:49Justice and it's not going to be and I
291. 16:52think the court told us that today
292. 16:55so do you think the case would have
293. 16:57reached this point if it hav gotten any
294. 16:58am of publicity that it
295. 17:00did uh I do because I think that once
296. 17:05all the evidence started being
297. 17:07dismantled and that started way back in
298. 17:09at the 2915 hearing the court went all
299. 17:12the way back and reviewed all the
300. 17:15evidence in the case yeah I mean we've
301. 17:17had other cases that haven't gotten
302. 17:19nearly this much
303. 17:21publicity but the right thing has still
304. 17:24happened the way it's happened for most
305. 17:27of our cases is ultimately the
306. 17:30prosecution says Uncle you're right this
307. 17:34person's innocent there isn't any
308. 17:37evidence here to retry and they let them
309. 17:38go the last three cases I've had the
310. 17:40Cook County States attorney's office
311. 17:43their wrongful conviction Integrity unit
312. 17:46has agreed to let our clients go and
313. 17:49that's the way this should work we
314. 17:51shouldn't be wasting judicial resources
315. 17:54on a case that's so completely flawed
316. 17:57what question questions is your office
317. 17:59still trying to get answered at this
318. 18:01point when where do we pick him up give
319. 18:05us the time give us the place cuz we're
320. 18:07going to be there what happens next
321. 18:10after today after everybody leaves this
322. 18:12room you know what's going to happen
323. 18:14next well we'll go back to our office
324. 18:17and and I will talk to the attorney
325. 18:20general office I plan to do that to see
326. 18:23if they've reached any decision and
327. 18:25we're going to wait the seven days and
328. 18:27see what they do with the bond motion
329. 18:29and then if nothing gets filed we're
330. 18:31going to drive back over here at a high
331. 18:33rate of speed with the radar
332. 18:37detector okay so do you all

334. 18:50yeah's the answer he wants to do get out

340. 19:16zard hard act to follow but I'll attempt
341. 19:19to answer your questions what's your
342. 19:21question what's the first thing that
343. 19:22Ryan wants to do well spend time with
344. 19:26the family and then uh one once uh we
345. 19:29get to uh get to know each other again
346. 19:32uh we're going to be heading to the
347. 19:34basketball court and playing some
348. 19:35basketball of course i' be love to swing
349. 19:38by the mall and pick up some tennis
350. 19:39shoes and so if any of you uh people
351. 19:42want to play some basketball and you're
352. 19:43looking for a pickup game please let us
353. 19:45know because we're ready to
354. 19:47play again just tell us your now just
355. 19:52your feeling when you read the ring this
356. 19:54morning um what was going to your mind I
357. 19:57just felt felt uh Vindicated for Ryan
358. 20:01that he's always said he was innocent uh
359. 20:05he's never changed one syllable of his
360. 20:07opening statement from the day he was
361. 20:09arrested and uh he's always maintained
362. 20:12that and as each succeeding day went by
363. 20:14we found more and more inconsistencies
364. 20:17and false information that the
365. 20:19prosecutor had presented and we were
366. 20:21able to shoot holes
367. 20:22through uh many many pieces of testimony
368. 20:27that was presented and you can see those
369. 20:29in the 54 page document that the uh
370. 20:32Western District Court presented and as
371. 20:35Kathleen uh has just stated that is a
372. 20:38great document to read to really get a
373. 20:40good taste of how to write a great
374. 20:44finding uh that that's tremendous so all
375. 20:46that all the things we've ever talked
376. 20:48about and complained about they're
377. 20:49pretty much in that 54 page document
378. 20:52where does your family stand now as
379. 20:54opposed to before all of this happened
380. 20:57and we regards to in regards to how you
381. 21:00know what what has your family how has
382. 21:03your family changed hasn't changed at
383. 21:06all we just if anything we're closer uh
384. 21:08but we do have a new member we have
385. 21:09Micah now uh but other than that uh
386. 21:12pretty much the same we're a very close
387. 21:14family and uh you can see we all support
388. 21:17each other and we will fight for each
389. 21:18other to the better end just like any of
390. 21:21you other uh parents would do for your
391. 21:23children so we're not any different than
392. 21:24any other set of parents we just happen
393. 21:26to be the ones in this particular
394. 21:28situation but I would encourage parents
395. 21:30to always stay involved with their
396. 21:32children and to always defend them
397. 21:35always protect them and always listen to
398. 21:37them and that's a message we'd like to
399. 21:40send uh after this point will you take
400. 21:43any other actions to help any other
401. 21:45families who might be in the same
402. 21:46situation yeah I could think of one
403. 21:48right now and his name would be Charles
404. 21:49Erikson he's not he's not guilty he
405. 21:52didn't do anything wrong he was uh
406. 21:54manipulated and cered into giving uh
407. 21:58false testimony uh he was led to believe
408. 22:02that uh he could be executed if he
409. 22:05didn't participate uh with uh with the
410. 22:08prosecution and uh he's innocent he has
411. 22:11no idea he he was blacked out that now
412. 22:13he has no idea what happened and he just
413. 22:15filled in spaces so yeah we're going toh
414. 22:18try to help uh exonerate him he needs to
415. 22:20be exonerated and the second thing we
416. 22:21want to do is find out who the true
417. 22:23perpetrators of this crime happens to be
418. 22:26and I'm so glad you asked that question
419. 22:28you probably didn't ask the question did
420. 22:29you but kind of got your attention uh
421. 22:33we're looking for this particular
422. 22:34individual right here and if you want to
423. 22:37pick up a quick
424. 22:38$10,000 just identify this individual
425. 22:41right here this is the person that was
426. 22:43behind the car that Shauna AR drew the
427. 22:46compul of there was a huge light right
428. 22:49above her head it illuminated his face
429. 22:51and you could see him or she can see him
430. 22:53very clearly she do the composite
431. 22:56prosecutor crane didn't let her answer
432. 22:59the question is that the person that you
433. 23:01saw uh is that Ryan Ferguson you saw no
434. 23:04he knew what her answer was so he didn't
435. 23:06let her answer that question well the
436. 23:08question we have is who is this
437. 23:10individual we want to know somebody
438. 23:13knows who he is so if you can come forth
439. 23:16some of your friends put it out in the
440. 23:18media if we can identify this person
441. 23:20there's a $10,000 reward for that
442. 23:22particular individual and this person
443. 23:24did not commit the crime this person
444. 23:27knows or we think he knows who committed
445. 23:30the crime this is the missing link so
446. 23:34that would help out tremendously so if
447. 23:36anybody needs a copy let us know so do
448. 23:39you forgive Chuck Aron I'm sorry do you
449. 23:42forgive Chuck eron we forgave him a long
450. 23:44time ago and same way with J Jerry Trump
451. 23:47you know they were put in a very very
452. 23:49difficult situation and they were
453. 23:51fighting for their lives the prosecutors
454. 23:53put them in an inable untenable
455. 23:56situation and they were fighting for the
456. 23:58lies you you're you're 19 years old and
457. 24:00you're putting a situation that they
458. 24:02tell you that your your head's on The
459. 24:04Chopping Block unless you cooperate
460. 24:06guess what you're probably going to
461. 24:07cooperate and if you're Jerry Trump and
462. 24:10you've been uh sent to prison and you
463. 24:12just were released uh after serving
464. 24:15three years and if you don't cooperate
465. 24:17you're going to go back for the
466. 24:18additional two years as a child molester
467. 24:20or some acts against children I don't
468. 24:22remember exactly what it was uh then
469. 24:24you're going to cooperate so we
470. 24:26understand the pressure that they were
471. 24:28and I wonder how many of us would not
472. 24:30have Cav under that sort of pressure so
473. 24:32we don't we don't hold anything against
474. 24:33them they did the best they could out of
475. 24:35the circumstances and and they came
476. 24:38forth and admitted they committed
477. 24:40perjury and they subjected themselves to
478. 24:42some very harsh sentencing
479. 24:52possibly
480. 24:53and Destroy some people they would just
481. 24:56break down
482. 24:58just describe his personality how kind
483. 25:01of test to his
484. 25:02character well the way I would look at
485. 25:04Ryan I think the way we would look at
486. 25:06him he has strong uh spirit he has a
487. 25:09strong Spirit about himself he's an
488. 25:11independent thinker and uh and he just
489. 25:13wants to improve himself he wants to be
490. 25:15a better person and uh that was
491. 25:18demonstrated by working with the other
492. 25:20inmates and helping them with their High
493. 25:22School diplomas and in fact one of the
494. 25:24things he did I thought was really
495. 25:25amazing beond playing basketball is he L
496. 25:28several discussion groups the first one
497. 25:29he did was uh which totally amazes me
498. 25:33was George Orwell's
499. 25:351984 and uh you know that's not a group
500. 25:37of people that really get into George
501. 25:39Orwell but uh there's a whole Wing that
502. 25:41knows all about George Orwell now and
503. 25:44now they even read animal farm so uh he
504. 25:47uh little easier to read but uh cently
505. 25:50he's reading Notes From The Underground
506. 25:53by so he educated himself he's very lit
507. 25:57am extremely extremely knowled very
508. 26:01we're so proud of him so proud of him
509. 26:02you there's some people no matter what
510. 26:04you do you cannot keep them down he's an
511. 26:07example of that and we're just so proud
512. 26:09of him and any of us can rise to that to
513. 26:12that level if we want any one of us and
514. 26:14he's demonstrated how how it could be
515. 26:16done so thank you for the question so
516. 26:20are you going to repaint the car
517. 26:22now you know I might put a little
518. 26:24different message on the car now uh but
519. 26:27like
520. 26:28said we're going to be very cautious I
521. 26:32don't know how cautious I've been but uh
522. 26:35about what we say because Ryan isn't
523. 26:38sitting around that Thanksgiving table
524. 26:40yet just yet but uh yeah I'll probably
525. 26:43modify the car a little
526. 26:46bit yes what do you say to all the
527. 26:48support you've received over the years
528. 26:50what do you say to all the people who
529. 26:51believe what can you say to those people
530. 26:54you know it just grew it's like a it was
531. 26:56like um a railway car on the siding and
532. 27:01if you push that car it's very difficult
533. 27:03to do I don't know if any of you have
534. 27:04ever done it actually I've never done it
535. 27:05just example I use but if you start to
536. 27:07push it that wheel makes one
537. 27:10rotation and then the second rotation
538. 27:12comes quicker and then the third rot uh
539. 27:15rotation is even quicker than that and
540. 27:16you start building up that momentum and
541. 27:18that's what uh Ryan supporters have done
542. 27:21in all the supporters of the supporters
543. 27:23and now I don't know if you've been on
544. 27:24the web page or not of the Facebook uh
545. 27:27we got thing that we call Ryan's face
546. 27:29around the world and uh our photographs
547. 27:32of Ryan around the world people holding
548. 27:33up signs in front of the Eiffel Tower or
549. 27:36uh uh uh Sydney Harbor Bridge whatever
550. 27:39happens to be saying free Ryan you know
551. 27:41little kids five and six years old uh
552. 27:4480y old grandmothers uh all AC and and
553. 27:47not just this country obviously Sydney
554. 27:49Harbor Bridge isn't in this country but
555. 27:51uh uh ubekistan uh Egypt uh the Middle
556. 27:55East uh places that most of never been
557. 27:58to probably should go to uh are are
558. 28:00supporting Ryan all across uh when I was
559. 28:03in Washington DC uh with a film crew uh
560. 28:06with Jinx uh Andre Jinx who's doing a
561. 28:09documentary on Ryan we were in front of
562. 28:12the white house uh not in the White
563. 28:14House in front of the White House and uh
564. 28:17we were filming and the young cameramen
565. 28:19were saying talk to the good-looking
566. 28:20blonde girls talk to a good-looking
567. 28:22blonde girls I'm oh my gosh okay so I
568. 28:24talked to a good-looking blonde girls uh
569. 28:27who turns out they're from Denmark and
570. 28:29uh so I I show them a couple of a
571. 28:32brochure of Ryan and uh and the two
572. 28:35girls are looking at each other back and
573. 28:37forth they go he tryan Ferguson it's
574. 28:38tryan
575. 28:40Ferguson he was on their Facebook they
576. 28:43they knew of course the cameraman are
577. 28:44going crazy so hopefully they without
578. 28:46come out that that would be great but uh
579. 28:48he's known I think he's going to be
580. 28:50known around the world so we we cannot
581. 28:53thank the local supporters the national
582. 28:55and international supporters as
583. 28:57supporters enough absolutely amazing it
584. 29:00just goes to show you the power of
585. 29:03social media
586. 29:08unbelievable well thank you very much if

597. 29:47should stop now um and he should be
598. 29:52allowed to go home with his family and
599. 29:55they should continue the investigation
600. 29:57for the real murderer high this battle
601. 30:01needs to stop this is a battle that has
602. 30:04no ring purpose so it should stop now
603. 30:09they've already wasted enough taxpayer
604. 30:10dollars do we want to keep wasting more
605. 30:13tax paay dollars read the opinion you
606. 30:15can say the odds of them winning that
607. 30:18case is uh pretty remote I mean who
608. 30:21would be the first witness that they
609. 30:22would call what would be the first
610. 30:24evidence they would submit I think
611. 30:26that's going to be a uh that would be
612. 30:28tough to do so it's going to be
613. 30:30interesting to see what they do I think
614. 30:31the answer will be not a uh uh a legal
615. 30:35question I think it'll be a political
616. 30:42question so thank you very yes one one

618. 30:46you'd like to add about today the past
619. 30:50years well uh for myself I would like to
620. 30:54say again thanks for all the supporters
621. 30:57uh and thank all of you in the Press
622. 30:59Corp which has grown tremendously and I
623. 31:02think have reported a story very well I
624. 31:05appreciate your uh unbiased very
625. 31:08straightforward reporting we really
626. 31:10appreciate that and uh I I I think the
627. 31:13reporting and uh the the large networks
628. 31:17what they've done and then other
629. 31:19everybody else coming along has been a
630. 31:21tremendous amount of help and I think
631. 31:23sent a strong message to other
632. 31:25prosecutors and other jurisdiction to
633. 31:27out the United States but perhaps uh
634. 31:30someone over here would like to say
635. 31:32something we just want to thank
636. 31:34everybody I me it is amazing the amount
637. 31:36of support that Ryan has and how
638. 31:40meaningful that has been for us as a
639. 31:42family to know that there are so many
640. 31:44people who have followed this case and
641. 31:46who have been there to support us um it
642. 31:49may not make a huge difference in the
643. 31:52legal world but in our world it has made
644. 31:55a huge
645. 31:56difference want everyone to know how
646. 31:58much we appreciate
647. 32:02their what has this fight been like for
648. 32:04your family day in and day out year
649. 32:06after year to get to this
650. 32:09point uh it's a fight and a challenge uh
651. 32:12that we get gladly embrac we just feel
652. 32:16fortunate to have the strength and the
653. 32:17endurance and the finances uh thanks to
654. 32:21Kathleen that uh that we can fight it uh
655. 32:25it it cost us a tremendous amount of
656. 32:26money
657. 32:27uh and effort to do it to get to to the
658. 32:30point before we even met Kathleen and
659. 32:31she's carried the ball the rest of the
660. 32:33way and we really greatly uh appreciate
661. 32:36that but as far as a family uh it's it's
662. 32:40made us stronger and and we're willing
663. 32:43and uh and uh accept the fight and we
664. 32:46accept the next phase of the fight uh we
665. 32:49will never surrender so that that's
666. 32:51always been our
667. 32:55mentality all right well thank you very
