5. 0:09troops have been killed or wounded in
6. 0:11this war so far was Russia prepared for
7. 0:13these kinds of losses
8. 0:16no Russia thought they were just going
9. 0:17to stroll into Kiev and people were just
10. 0:20going to capitulate so I'm certain that
11. 0:22they did not factor in the fact that
12. 0:25there was going to be resistance and
13. 0:27sustained resistance and the rest of the
14. 0:30world basically teaming up against them
15. 0:32in the U.N votes
16. 0:34so Daryl is this a retreat by Russia or
17. 0:37some kind of tactical move
18. 0:40it's probably a little of both Diane
19. 0:42it's going to take a couple of weeks to
20. 0:44withdraw I heard up to a hundred
21. 0:46thousand uh or 23 000 troops that are
22. 0:50that are in the city of Curson and they
23. 0:53could be laying traps of course they're
24. 0:54not against
25. 0:56um this General Armageddon is known for
26. 0:58his ruthlessness so they could be mining
27. 1:00the city they could be preparing traps
28. 1:03for the ukrainians in in the event that
29. 1:05they rush in and try to take back the
30. 1:08largest of the four cities that's been
31. 1:09occupied since they invaded in February
32. 1:12Daryl on Tuesday president zielinski
33. 1:15mentioned the possibility of holding
34. 1:16quote genuine peace talks with Russia in
35. 1:19his daily address to Ukraine that sounds
36. 1:21like a little bit of a change of tune so
37. 1:23what could that look like and what
38. 1:25impact could it have on this war
39. 1:28honestly I believe that if you look in
40. 1:31at history 33 years ago yesterday the
41. 1:34wall the Berlin Wall uh came down so
42. 1:38this is as significant an event as then
43. 1:40the world is excited by the possibility
44. 1:44that the ukrainians and the Russians
45. 1:46will be talking but lip service is
46. 1:49something that Putin is very good at
47. 1:52so Daryl President Biden is kicking off
48. 1:54this three Country tour today uh going
49. 1:57throughout Asia one of his main focuses
50. 1:58will be the war in Ukraine so what can
51. 2:01we expect from these talks
52. 2:03well the good news is all three of the
53. 2:05countries Cambodia Egypt and Indonesia
54. 2:08voted with the United States with the
55. 2:11141 countries that condemned The
56. 2:14Invasion I'm certain that the
57. 2:15discussions have continued in terms of
58. 2:18not you know not giving up their support
59. 2:20so beyond the global uh global climate
60. 2:24and the G20 for industrialized nations
