Robert Monroe On Addiction To Being Human, Then Tricked By Entity About 'Home' / Matrix Simulation — Transcript

- 0:00And we're all, as I like to put it,
- 0:03going home with all this bag full of
- 0:05goodies, as it were, to take home and
- 0:08show the local boys how much you've
- 0:10learned and what you can do. Only the
- 0:13only problem is that when we do this uh
- 0:16uh we forget something that happens as
- 0:18again on the way to the store that we
- 0:20don't expect. What's that? Well, if you
- 0:25know about it, then you can have fun.
- 0:26It's where you don't know about it is
- 0:28where it gets dangerous. And that is
- 0:31that we become addicted to being human.
- 0:35And so after we exit this with this
- 0:38particular life soldier, we're saying
- 0:41instead of going home and what I call
- 0:43having escape velocity to go home,
- 0:46something's happened in living that
- 0:48life. We've picked up a load factor.
- 0:51There was friction along the way and
- 0:53that represents it. So instead of moving
- 0:55out and having escape philosophy, we
- 0:58start turning around that and it's our
- 1:00decision, no one else's. That's the
- 1:02important thing, our decision. We say,
- 1:05well, I think I'll go back just once
- 1:08more. And then this next time, I think
- 1:11I'll be a male instead of a female. That
- 1:13ought to be more fun. Just once more and
- 1:16then I'll go home. So what happens is
- 1:18instead of moving this way, we loop
- 1:20around and go back being a human again
- 1:23and go back and have another human
- 1:25experience, another lifetime. And we
- 1:27come out again and we're already this
- 1:29time, but this time we've had even a
- 1:31greater load factor. Don't you see?
- 1:33We've slowed up a little more. We don't
- 1:37haven't got the speed that we did. We
- 1:39have a greater load. And so we're now in
- 1:41orbit and we have a decaying orbit
- 1:43because when we come up around the orbit
- 1:45like this instead of going on we say oh
- 1:48I got to go back because you I I have
- 1:50never seen Pereie and I'd like to go to
- 1:52Paris for once in my life and I'd like
- 1:55to just go there. So whole purpose to go
- 1:57back and live again so that I can go to
- 2:00Paris and and I've heard so much about
- 2:02Paris. I want to go to Paris. So I'll go
- 2:04and live again so I can go to Paris. And
- 2:06as you can see, each time you pick up in
- 2:08each succeeding lifetime a greater load
- 2:11factor. So that as you go through this,
- 2:14your orbit decays more and more as you
- 2:17go through this living these successive
- 2:19lives until you get locked in tighter
- 2:22and tighter and tighter till you are
- 2:24locked in being human so tight that you
- 2:26forget where you came from. You've lost
- 2:28all of the desire to even depart and go
- 2:32home. You've lost it all because this is
- 2:35so overwhelmingly addictive that you
- 2:38can't think of anything else but this
- 2:39time, space, physical matter, all the
- 2:41things that take place in there. And no
- 2:43matter how hard you try, you can't get
- 2:47away from it. The reason being there's
- 2:49no law. But when you quote die and
- 2:52instead of going home, you make the
- 2:55decision. There's no law that says you
- 2:57have to stay here. You are the one who
- 2:59says I got to go back. I I didn't eat
- 3:02enough steaks. I didn't have enough
- 3:04strawberries. I didn't have enough
- 3:06children. All these kinds of things. Or
- 3:08I didn't have enough sex. Which is
- 3:11anyway that's how we we lock in as being
- 3:16human.
- 3:17And so doing this. Now the next trick is
- 3:20well what happens? Well, uh why don't we
- 3:24recognize this more and more? Because we
- 3:26are so deeply addicted. So we develop uh
- 3:29an excuse. what you call belief systems
- 3:32to rationalize this process and but it's
- 3:35all done in this local traffic human
- 3:38terms. This is the difference. As a
- 3:41result, somewhere along the way, you
- 3:44begin to find cracks in the belief
- 3:47system. You begin to find reasons that
- 3:50don't work quite well. That's the
- 3:51analytical thing coming into it says,
- 3:53"Hey, wait a minute. Something wrong
- 3:55here. This doesn't ways doesn't work
- 3:58out. Two and two makes six. No, no, no,
- 4:01no. Wrong. Try again. You begin to find
- 4:03out that there are some holes in the
- 4:06cracks. And that's when you begin to
- 4:08regrow and begin to so that successively
- 4:12you begin to start on your way out
- 4:14again. And you begin to have a a higher
- 4:17and higher orbit as you learn more. And
- 4:19in these successive lives till finally
- 4:21you got escape velocity and then you do
- 4:24go home. And that's what it's all about.
- 4:35It's our decision. No one else's. That's
- 4:38the important thing. Our decision.
- 4:47I went and got home and here were these
- 4:51these that I remembered so beautifully.
- 4:54These
- 4:55they were huge
- 4:58roing
- 5:00clouds
- 5:01and they were clouds had many many
- 5:03different hues of bright colors when
- 5:06them shifting like rainbow colors all
- 5:08through them and you could lie in the
- 5:10clouds and it was and just observe this
- 5:13spectacle of of change and it was not
- 5:16all round rolling. There were cubes and
- 5:18everything else. All sorts of types of
- 5:20different types of symbol forms flowing
- 5:24around and through this and you lie
- 5:26there and it's so beautiful. And then as
- 5:29you were there, and I'm the using time
- 5:31space terms to express it because it's
- 5:33the only way you could do it. And as you
- 5:36would lie there, you would hear this
- 5:39tremendous
- 5:41music. And I interpreted as music, but
- 5:44was something else, but it was of course
- 5:46a form of vibration. But it expressed
- 5:49itself to me in music. Beautiful,
- 5:51beautiful music like a massive symphony
- 5:54orchestra, beautifully conducted. And
- 5:57over here was a magnificent choir of a
- 6:00thousand human voices. And you're
- 6:02listening to all of this. And in this
- 6:05return quick visit, uh I
- 6:09lay back in the clouds and looked at
- 6:12these beautiful patterns and heard this
- 6:14exquisite music. And I perhaps would
- 6:18have might have stayed there forever
- 6:20except
- 6:22what I had grown and that was my left
- 6:26brain because I was lying there and I
- 6:28looked at something and my attention got
- 6:31caught and what wasn't and I I looked
- 6:36again perceived again and it was right
- 6:39here was a pattern of clouds that went
- 6:41like this for example and then went on
- 6:43and if you waited long enough that same
- 6:45pattern clouds came along and it went
- 6:47like this and went on. It was a loop. It
- 6:49was a a a continuous loop. It was
- 6:52nothing new in the loop. If you get the
- 6:54same thing came back again and again and
- 6:57again and I then listened to the music
- 7:02and sure enough here's a beautiful
- 7:04melody line going
- 7:08and if you waited long enough the same
- 7:09instrument and the same melody line will
- 7:11be repeated.
- 7:14And with that, I sat up and had a great
- 7:17sigh of
- 7:21and because I realized that then I knew
- 7:26why I had left home
- 7:30because I was bored.
- 7:33Uh there was nothing new to learn there.
- 7:35I was curious. I and I was bored with
- 7:38watching the clouds do the same thing
- 7:40forever and listening to the music do
- 7:42the same thing forever. and I didn't
- 7:43want to stay there any longer. And
- 7:45that's why I left home.
