- 0:08inside susan berman's home after finding
- 0:11her body there in december of 2000 he
- 0:14said he unsuccessfully dialed 9-1-1 from
- 0:17a dead landline phone then drove to a
- 0:19pay phone but durst says he decided not
- 0:22to call after all because he feared his
- 0:24voice would be recognized and did not
- 0:26want to give them his name so he says he
- 0:29sent the beverly hills police that
- 0:31letter
- 0:33did you write that letter yes i did
- 0:36did you lie about it later yes did you
- 0:39lie about it for years
- 0:41yes
- 0:43why
- 0:44because it's a very
- 0:47difficult thing
- 0:50to believe
- 0:52i mean i have difficulty believing in
- 0:54myself
- 0:56that i would write the letter
- 0:59and have not killed susan
- 1:02well durst denies killing susan berman
- 1:04saying he has no reason to kill his
- 1:07longtime friend
