  1. 0:00How are you guys doing? This is
  2. 0:01IronSteel and welcome to Retro Empire,
  3. 0:04build your favorite game shop demo.
  4. 0:05[music]
  5. 0:06Now this game is pretty much what I can
  6. 0:09assume just like every other supermarket
  7. 0:11simulator style game with a couple of
  8. 0:14differences. Number one, you get your
  9. 0:15main shop, you get an arcade, and you
  10. 0:17get something else. I'm actually kind of
  11. 0:19looking forward to the something else
  12. 0:20instead of doing the same thing over and
  13. 0:22over and over and over and over.
  14. 0:25So let's get into this now.
  15. 0:27DVN Software presents
  16. 0:31generic supermarket game, Retro Empire
  17. 0:34the demo.
  18. 0:41Alrighty,
  19. 0:44here we are.
  20. 0:45Letting [music] for the fun. Um
  21. 0:49Retro demo. All right. Um
  22. 0:55Oh god, you know what? We'll do the
  23. 0:56collector. This one I like.
  24. 0:59Yep, we're good. Right. Oh no, I'm going
  25. 1:01to get inside already. Yep.
  26. 1:03Right, let's have a look around because
  27. 1:05basically
  28. 1:07I think this shop or something along it
  29. 1:10you get to open like Turbo Arcade. We
  30. 1:12open this up as well. This is ours
  31. 1:14apparently.
  32. 1:16And there's something else that's ours,
  33. 1:17but I don't know what. So we'll figure
  34. 1:19this out as we go.
  35. 1:20Okay, so this is a shelf.
  36. 1:25[music] There we go. We got our shelf.
  37. 1:28Let know many shelves that are this
  38. 1:30shelf and my shelf and
  39. 1:33I'm just going to I'm going to be brutal
  40. 1:34on this. We are going to get this done
  41. 1:35quickly because I've done this
  42. 1:38way too many times
  43. 1:40and everything is awesome.
  44. 1:44This is out this window that. Uh this is
  45. 1:46my workbench.
  46. 1:50Cool.
  47. 1:52Oh wow, hold on.
  48. 1:54How retro is this game shop because
  49. 1:55that's from the 90s.
  50. 1:58Hell
  51. 2:01Uh
  52. 2:04open box.
  53. 2:08Oh dear lord. Um these are dirty dirty
  54. 2:12dirty.
  55. 2:20I'm just going to put those down there
  56. 2:21for a second cuz they are filthy.
  57. 2:24I'm going to assume
  58. 2:42Oh dear lord, that was quick. Uh where
  59. 2:44do I put broken boxes?
  60. 2:48Uh
  61. 2:48have we got a bin?
  62. 2:52Do I put them in here?
  63. 2:59Um
  64. 3:03I'm going to put the box in the corner
  65. 3:05for now cuz I have no idea what I'm
  66. 3:06doing with the box.
  67. 3:08So there's basically we are sticking
  68. 3:11stuff on the shelves.
  69. 3:15Oh okay.
  70. 3:33I know but where do I put where do I put
  71. 3:34empty boxes?
  72. 3:41I bet I have to buy a bin.
  73. 3:45What a load of old junk oh.
  74. 3:48[music] Load of old junk now is
  75. 3:55Cool.
  76. 3:59Now let's have a look at the actual
  77. 4:01game. So we're selling
  78. 4:03Super Squash Brothers Brawl, uh Mario
  79. 4:06Brothers.
  80. 4:08Basically, what looks like a load of old
  81. 4:10like broken These are games, yes. Can we
  82. 4:13adjust the prices?
  83. 4:17[music] So, worth on the market $11
  84. 4:20cool. So,
  85. 4:21Okie dokie. I mean
  86. 4:24right.
  87. 4:28I want to fix something before we do
  88. 4:29something. Work on this. Let's work on
  89. 4:32this. Let's clean it out first.
  90. 4:43Oh, yeah.
  91. 4:47Now we got to repair it.
  92. 4:58Disgusting.
  93. 5:11It's doing it for me.
  94. 5:14Okay.
  95. 5:30All right.
  96. 5:33In good shape, in good shape, in good
  97. 5:35shape.
  98. 5:37We'll put that back. It's in good nick.
  99. 5:46Yep, cool.
  100. 5:54There we go. It works.
  101. 5:57It's actually pretty good that we don't
  102. 5:58have to take We don't have to take apart
  103. 6:00all the screws as well. The game it kind
  104. 6:02of does it itself, which is quite nice.
  105. 6:05Awesome.
  106. 6:06So we've got a brand spanking new, well
  107. 6:09I say new, but we've worked on it.
  108. 6:13And that's cool.
  109. 6:14So let's have a look at the other two
  110. 6:15cuz we got two of these.
  111. 6:19Right, let me just get this one cleaned.
  112. 6:22And we'll see what's wrong with this
  113. 6:23one.
  114. 6:31So this one was good enough we can sell
  115. 6:32that one straight away.
  116. 6:39Okay.
  117. 6:44Put this one on the shelf as well.
  118. 6:48And then we got our final one.
  119. 6:52So let's clean this one up as well.
  120. 6:55Oh no, there's stickers on this one.
  121. 7:12Ew.
  122. 7:22There we go.
  123. 7:30Okie dokie, right.
  124. 7:32Oh, no.
  125. 7:34Right, I'll put this on the shelf as
  126. 7:35well.
  127. 7:39Uh deals, you open
  128. 7:41ones, blah blah, got it. Okay, cool. So
  129. 7:43we can buy these things and get them
  130. 7:45bought into the shop as well.
  131. 7:47So that's pretty cool.
  132. 7:49Um we can retro buy is this
  133. 7:53Okay, so this is batteries, circuit
  134. 7:54boards.
  135. 7:56Okay.
  136. 7:58So if we need something for a specific
  137. 7:59machine, we actually have the we have
  138. 8:02the ability to buy sort of everything we
  139. 8:04need. That's good.
  140. 8:06Furniture.
  141. 8:08Okay, so we've got shelves, small
  142. 8:10shelves, bin.
  143. 8:13I'm ordering order the bin. I don't get
  144. 8:15yeah, we're good.
  145. 8:17Um so large shelves, CRTT so we can test
  146. 8:20consoles as well.
  147. 8:22Um a sign that we say we buy games,
  148. 8:25rentals,
  149. 8:26grand opening. Oh, cool.
  150. 8:30Uh posters for old retro games. [music]
  151. 8:34So one thing I I was looking at was like
  152. 8:36a maybe like Oh, there it is.
  153. 8:38A a a display gondola, which is pretty
  154. 8:40cool. But what I want is kind of when
  155. 8:43you get like a rare item, you want to
  156. 8:44put it on display, but not for sale.
  157. 8:46That might be something to maybe look
  158. 8:48into when the game comes out maybe and
  159. 8:50we could go from there.
  160. 8:52Hopefully that gets put into the game
  161. 8:53cuz I got to be honest, having like um
  162. 8:57having like a a section where you can
  163. 9:00display things you've found, things that
  164. 9:01you like you might you may sit in the
  165. 9:03store, you know what, this resonates
  166. 9:04with me [music] and you want your own
  167. 9:06little display of like special things.
  168. 9:08Like in TCG card shop, you can get the
  169. 9:10display cabinet for like cards.
  170. 9:15Babe.
  171. 9:16Babe.
  172. 9:18$47 and and Oh, wow.
  173. 9:21I only have to use one button.
  174. 9:25Oh. [sighs]
  175. 9:26I like. So far not too bad. I mean, you
  176. 9:29know, I mean, we've we've got
  177. 9:30this.
  178. 9:39Oh, so we can change all the colours of
  179. 9:41our store.
  180. 9:43I like it.
  181. 9:44Actually, I don't mind this one too
  182. 9:46much.
  183. 9:46That's $103 there.
  184. 9:49Ta-da.
  185. 9:50At least with this, we actually have a
  186. 9:52delivery company.
  187. 9:54Give me a second. I finally got a bin.
  188. 9:58Hi, I have a bin.
  189. 10:02Thank you.
  190. 10:03[music] Thank you very much.
  191. 10:06Can't say no to Super Mario actually
  192. 10:07Garrett the Galaxy. Of course you can't.
  193. 10:09A musical genius Galaxy game. You get to
  194. 10:11play music upon the stars.
  195. 10:14What an amazing game.
  196. 10:16[music] Twinkle, twinkle.
  197. 10:23Right. So, apparently there was a tree
  198. 10:24here, but it's been dug up
  199. 10:26like all the trees along this street.
  200. 10:31Someone's after
  201. 10:34Mario Which one?
  202. 10:37Mario
  203. 10:38Hold on. Does it actually tell me which
  204. 10:39one I want? Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
  205. 10:41Hold on. Hold on.
  206. 10:42Back off that.
  207. 10:46I don't know what they wanted.
  208. 10:49Hi, sir. Talk to customer.
  209. 10:51You want I'll check. Please wait. Okay,
  210. 10:53so it's that game there.
  211. 10:57Hi, sir. This one?
  212. 11:02I mean, you could have gone to the shelf
  213. 11:04yourself, you lazy smoke head.
  214. 11:06Seriously?
  215. 11:09Store looks plain. I know it looks
  216. 11:11plain, but that's just because I've only
  217. 11:13just moved in.
  218. 11:15Wait until later when I turn it into a
  219. 11:17BDSM dungeon. I mean a
  220. 11:19a cool-looking store.
  221. 11:22Best shop in town. See?
  222. 11:24Maybe plain.
  223. 11:25People like it.
  224. 11:27To the commentary.
  225. 11:30Workshop has bought a Okay.
  226. 11:33My childhood in a box. Taking it.
  227. 11:38Hello.
  228. 11:42Found my old car in my parents' house.
  229. 11:46You'll wait here.
  230. 11:49Okay, cool.
  231. 11:51Let's give it a clean.
  232. 11:55Okay, already I need I need a shop
  233. 11:56assistant.
  234. 11:59So far, so good. Money's looking good.
  235. 12:01The game's flowing well. I'm not waiting
  236. 12:04around to do too much.
  237. 12:07I'd like to sell you my console for $38.
  238. 12:09Would you buy it? Estimated resale value
  239. 12:11about 75.
  240. 12:14I'll do it for 33 mate.
  241. 12:19Done.
  242. 12:21My whole thing with that though
  243. 12:25I don't I just want to put it down.
  244. 12:30There we go.
  245. 12:32So my whole thing with like doing
  246. 12:33repairs and stuff is I generally think
  247. 12:35repairs should be like you get um you
  248. 12:38can put it in the back and then do it
  249. 12:40another day or like do it in the evening
  250. 12:41after everyone's left. So you've got
  251. 12:43something to do between days, [music]
  252. 12:44you know? Cuz consoles are going to take
  253. 12:46time
  254. 12:47and you've got to find like other stock
  255. 12:50and you've got to you've got to have
  256. 12:51like a queue system for that sort thing.
  257. 12:53We there was one in an antique shop
  258. 12:55where if you would get hold of like
  259. 12:57certain items
  260. 12:58then the customer would come back like
  261. 13:00three days later after the jobs been
  262. 13:01done you hand it over and it's like oh
  263. 13:02happy days. So I'm kind of thinking
  264. 13:04that's what should be [music] that's
  265. 13:06what should be done. So instead of
  266. 13:08having the customer wait in the store
  267. 13:10they should come back like the next day
  268. 13:11or the day after or whatever depending
  269. 13:13on how long the job's going to be. If
  270. 13:15it's just for cleaning then the next day
  271. 13:17if it's like a couple of days and you
  272. 13:18have to wait for parts then obviously
  273. 13:19you have to wait a couple of days. So
  274. 13:20maybe there should be a like a shelf in
  275. 13:23like a a shelf section where we put
  276. 13:26orders in and we have like a shelf for
  277. 13:30like 15 different items
  278. 13:32and people come back every couple of
  279. 13:33days to pick up their item and so on so
  280. 13:35forth. Maybe the
  281. 13:37these are just ideas I come up with
  282. 13:38whilst I'm playing the game.
  283. 13:39Maybe that's something that the
  284. 13:41developer didn't think of. I'm hoping
  285. 13:43maybe they watch this and go oh yeah
  286. 13:44that's actually not a bad idea. We'll
  287. 13:45add that onto our road map or something.
  288. 13:47Cuz obviously they're not going to want
  289. 13:48to put it in straight away cuz it will
  290. 13:50stop development of the game and release
  291. 13:52date and so on.
  292. 13:53So it's just an idea.
  293. 13:56I mean if you've got any thoughts about
  294. 13:57this and what you think it could be
  295. 13:58improved as well
  296. 14:00put it down in the comment section. You
  297. 14:01never know who reads these. Like the
  298. 14:02developers do watch like little videos
  299. 14:04like this
  300. 14:05to get ideas about what the current
  301. 14:08feedback is of their game.
  302. 14:11Yep
  303. 14:12apart from that we're good.
  304. 14:19So the reason why it keeps coming with
  305. 14:20music there is cuz there is music
  306. 14:22playing in this game. I just turned it
  307. 14:24off so I don't get hit by copyright.
  308. 14:27And if you are enjoying this, hit the
  309. 14:28like, subscribe and notification button
  310. 14:29below because that's the best way to do
  311. 14:31it.
  312. 14:35Get it then.
  313. 14:50This guy is indecisive.
  314. 14:55He's stuck.
  315. 14:59He's in a loop.
  316. 15:01[cough]
  317. 15:02He's in a loop. He's not getting Oh,
  318. 15:04he's finally decided.
  319. 15:06That's like That is like me in a in a
  320. 15:08shop.
  321. 15:09Do I want it? Do I not want it? I don't
  322. 15:11know. Help me. Oh my god, I'm not sure.
  323. 15:14Can I afford it? Oh my god.
  324. 15:17Right, so I'm going to assume we're
  325. 15:18shutting now at 8:00.
  326. 15:22I'll wait until 8:00.
  327. 15:25So there's not a lot left on the
  328. 15:26shelves. We're going to have to do some
  329. 15:27restocking.
  330. 15:29Restocking USA.
  331. 15:32So you right, here you go. So the
  332. 15:34customers are just about to like they're
  333. 15:35going to stop coming in.
  334. 15:44Click.
  335. 15:50Used arcade cabinet, wall paint, retro,
  336. 15:52buy wholesale, repair jobs, done.
  337. 15:56So shop [snorts] is closed. So what you
  338. 15:59could use this time is to fix
  339. 16:01things.
  340. 16:05So this is the console that I bought off
  341. 16:07of that guy who came in and sold it to
  342. 16:09me.
  343. 16:12Flip it over.
  344. 16:16And there we go. So that's one's done.
  345. 16:20Thankfully, nothing really bad has
  346. 16:22happened yet.
  347. 16:32Okay. So we've got 900
  348. 16:35We've got 946 [music]
  349. 16:39Um
  350. 16:45I need to buy this one.
  351. 16:53All right.
  352. 16:57I'm going to buy this one.
  353. 17:05I'm going to buy this one.
  354. 17:14And
  355. 17:17that one.
  356. 17:19There we go.
  357. 17:20So I've spent about $400 on items.
  358. 17:39Cheers, matey.
  359. 17:45And now the worst part is I'm going to
  360. 17:47have to um
  361. 17:49find the people I just dealt with.
  362. 17:59I wonder how far I can run.
  363. 18:09Oh my god.
  364. 18:13Hello.
  365. 18:23I'm looking for the people I traded
  366. 18:24with.
  367. 18:26Hello.
  368. 18:32I believe that might be a person I
  369. 18:34traded with.
  370. 18:36Hi.
  371. 18:38He looks really happy.
  372. 18:57Ah.
  373. 19:02That's a No. I'm looking for people just
  374. 19:05standing still.
  375. 19:24Let's go in here. I've never been I
  376. 19:26haven't been in here yet.
  377. 19:33Ooh.
  378. 19:36Wow, you guys are going to be waiting
  379. 19:38for a long time. There is nobody
  380. 19:40serving.
  381. 19:52Customer.
  382. 20:01I think I bought four lots.
  383. 20:09Hold on.
  384. 20:11I've now just discovered the fact that I
  385. 20:12have a compass above my head.
  386. 20:19Seriously, my friend? Thank you.
  387. 20:22Jesus, you had to run all I had to run
  388. 20:23all the way around the town just to find
  389. 20:24that, weren't
  390. 20:28[panting and laughter]
  391. 20:30It's a long way to run, man.
  392. 20:52Okay, so I found a bit of a cheat with
  393. 20:53that then.
  394. 20:55You can pick up two boxes and just mount
  395. 20:56everything to the
  396. 20:59Check that out.
  397. 21:00Super fast.
  398. 21:03Like it.
  399. 21:07And there we go.
  400. 21:09I, in all, in fairness, right, maybe a
  401. 21:12bit ropey this one.
  402. 21:14But maybe that's just because
  403. 21:16reasons.
  404. 21:34It is the thing in my head that's making
  405. 21:36me just like
  406. 21:37you need to put all the games in order.
  407. 21:44I don't want to open this door yet.
  408. 21:49I want to keep having it through my
  409. 21:50phone.
  410. 21:52Console bundles, there's a PS2
  411. 21:54and a Wii
  412. 21:56for parts.
  413. 21:58Tempting.
  414. 22:03[music]
  415. 22:12[snorts]
  416. 22:13So this is a $62 bundle, £7.80 per game.
  417. 22:18We'll probably make more than that.
  418. 22:22Crash Bandicoot cannot wait.
  419. 22:24>> [music]
  420. 22:33>> not white.
  421. 22:39[snorts]
  422. 22:42So this is mine.
  423. 22:43This is the demo.
  424. 22:45Then you've got the video club, which is
  425. 22:48the arcade hall. That's in the full
  426. 22:50game. And then the cyber cafe is in the
  427. 22:52full game. [music] And in coming soon,
  428. 22:55the second retro store.
  429. 22:57So there's loads of there's there's this
  430. 23:00game it's got enough to expand into.
  431. 23:02It's just doing
  432. 23:04it's a little bit more basic than other
  433. 23:06games we've played in the past, which is
  434. 23:08okay. I've got I haven't got a problem
  435. 23:10with that at all.
  436. 23:11So let's have a look at like designs and
  437. 23:13bits of pieces. Can we change our walls?
  438. 23:18I see I like I like [music] black brick.
  439. 23:20I know it sounds weird.
  440. 23:24[music] Buying a pier.
  441. 23:27Floor.
  442. 23:29I do prefer wood paneling.
  443. 23:32That's in the full game. [music]
  444. 23:35That's a shame. I'll have cool wash.
  445. 23:37There we go.
  446. 23:38Ceiling.
  447. 23:41Charcoal.
  448. 23:44Door sign, that one.
  449. 23:47Workshop walls.
  450. 23:50Cool wash.
  451. 23:56It may look a bit dingy, but that's just
  452. 23:57is the weird color. I actually prefer
  453. 23:59darkness because
  454. 24:01everything's too bright for me anyway.
  455. 24:05So this looks cool for me. Obviously let
  456. 24:07put posters up and neons and bits of
  457. 24:08pieces, you'll be fine.
  458. 24:11Let's have a look through furniture.
  459. 24:15So we got a small shelf bargain bin.
  460. 24:17That's not too bad.
  461. 24:20CRT TV, used cabinets.
  462. 24:25That's okay. Shelves, boxes,
  463. 24:29gear,
  464. 24:31posters.
  465. 24:32Righty ho.
  466. 24:34All right.
  467. 24:39It's the only thing we got enough to sit
  468. 24:40on the shelf.
  469. 24:43And we're closed, but that's okay.
  470. 24:53Oh, I got a workshop mission to come in.
  471. 24:56So even if you don't open your store,
  472. 25:00you the time is still going.
  473. 25:03Oh,
  474. 25:04he's going.
  475. 25:13I'll buy it.
  476. 25:22So that job
  477. 25:25that that cartridge or disc she brought
  478. 25:28in was worth nine quid.
  479. 25:30It's now already on my shelf for 22.
  480. 25:47Offer 42.
  481. 25:53Thanks, bud.
  482. 26:01Oh, we get to individually clean all the
  483. 26:03parts.
  484. 26:10Perfect.
  485. 26:13And it works.
  486. 26:20Three people came in and bought stuff.
  487. 26:22Neighbor reputation is 56 to 50.
  488. 26:25Oh, no.
  489. 26:27I wonder if that's because we didn't
  490. 26:29actually put stuff we didn't sell too
  491. 26:30much.
  492. 26:34Condition check from 120 in your
  493. 26:36profile.
  494. 26:41Oh.
  495. 26:42So if I stay up, then I fix stuff.
  496. 26:48Okay.
  497. 26:51[music]
  498. 26:56Apparently I can buy a bargain bin.
  499. 27:04Cool, man.
  500. 27:06[music]
  501. 27:08I'll buy that one at Yeah, we do I do
  502. 27:11delivery. I don't really I'm not I don't
  503. 27:12want to go and get it.
  504. 27:18[sighs]
  505. 27:19Cool.
  506. 27:23These are expensive. That's expensive.
  507. 27:26That's a bloody rip-off.
  508. 27:30Um
  509. 27:32so what I'm get the one thing I've got a
  510. 27:33question though is when it comes to like
  511. 27:36parts.
  512. 27:43[music]
  513. 27:56Right, so I just bought the bargain bin.
  514. 27:59[music]
  515. 28:05Right.
  516. 28:08I'm now open.
  517. 28:26Man, thanks very much for delivery.
  518. 28:43>> I will buy what?
  519. 28:52Babe, have a lovely day.
  520. 28:55All right, well, doing okay now.
  521. 28:59Kind of just waiting for the guy to come
  522. 29:01back for his console.
  523. 29:07And that lady who's got like a bundle of
  524. 29:09games or
  525. 29:12person who's got a bundle of games.
  526. 29:23I will definitely be looking again Oh,
  527. 29:25hello.
  528. 29:26Um
  529. 29:30I'll do it for 36
  530. 29:3231
  531. 29:34Can I just
  532. 29:36That's fine. I can do it for 29 too.
  533. 29:3929 and it's worth 67 quid.
  534. 29:50Right, all that's going on there.
  535. 29:53Hello, madam.
  536. 30:02I dropped it the bar top glass over the
  537. 30:04screen cracked. I still play games. I
  538. 30:06hope okay.
  539. 30:09Let me just pop that there a second.
  540. 30:13I'll take his money as well.
  541. 30:15Actually, can I look for a staff member?
  542. 30:18Got it. I need a cashier. Oh no, they
  543. 30:21don't let me have one.
  544. 30:23Oh no. Right, we need to repair
  545. 30:29and replace.
  546. 30:33Put it back in.
  547. 30:34Excellent.
  548. 30:36Back.
  549. 30:37Um.
  550. 30:40Have I got to clean it?
  551. 30:43I wish I didn't have to clean this as
  552. 30:44well.
  553. 30:46It's eating into my time.
  554. 30:49Yes, sir.
  555. 30:52Oh, yeah. Yeah, sure. Uh,
  556. 30:54there it is.
  557. 30:57Have a great day. Thank you very much
  558. 30:59for the tip, sir.
  559. 31:00Lovely.
  560. 31:02So, yeah, that's all good.
  561. 31:05I I actually don't mind this. Like I I
  562. 31:07would prefer having a shop assistant to
  563. 31:08mess around with so they can sit there
  564. 31:10and do all the difficult serving work
  565. 31:13whilst I'm repairing stuff.
  566. 31:15But apart from that, I actually don't
  567. 31:17mind this. I don't mind little shop
  568. 31:18games like this because I genuinely have
  569. 31:21a
  570. 31:22an interest in retro gaming.
  571. 31:24This is my childhood, so I'm okay with
  572. 31:27that.
  573. 31:28But
  574. 31:29for other people, I mean, this is just
  575. 31:31it's just a junk game where you're just
  576. 31:33going to be messing around with
  577. 31:36not a lot [music] of stuff. Hopefully,
  578. 31:38this it won't be massively expensive for
  579. 31:40everybody. Workshop job.
  580. 31:43Uh,
  581. 31:46I I tried a charger from another
  582. 31:48console. It made a little crack and then
  583. 31:50it other battery's gone.
  584. 31:54He's coming back for that.
  585. 31:59Buy it for 45.
  586. 32:02Cheers, bud.
  587. 32:04Cool.
  588. 32:14Get on with it, mate.
  589. 32:16Stop picking up the game and just
  590. 32:17decide.
  591. 34:21>> He left.
  592. 34:28Right, I need to find out where this
  593. 34:29grime is because it says
  594. 34:33[music] it's clean and filthy.
  595. 34:38It says there's 13% stickers left on it,
  596. 34:41I see any stickers?
  597. 34:46What?
  598. 34:50Where was the smegging sticker?
  599. 34:54Right, well that's got to stay there.
  600. 34:56I've got to get this one working now.
  601. 34:59That's bull crap.
  602. 35:09Take the back shelf off.
  603. 35:13I thought you'd fried the board.
  604. 35:18Right, reassemble.
  605. 35:20It all just goes back together now.
  606. 35:22Parker.
  607. 35:24Excellent, it's done.
  608. 35:28So we made $1,080
  609. 35:30$1,080, that's good.
  610. 35:32Let's have a look through what's
  611. 35:33available for sale. [music]
  612. 35:36Steel, we'll take it.
  613. 35:39I'm taking everything.
  614. 35:42So that's a good that's a good deal.
  615. 35:44Couple of copies of this, that and the
  616. 35:45other. We're fine. [music]
  617. 35:48It's got comes with the game it comes
  618. 35:49with a load of these adjustable stuff,
  619. 35:51but we'll take it because Oh no, I just
  620. 35:53picked it up.
  621. 35:54That means I've got to go hunting for
  622. 35:55it. Great.
  623. 35:59We got that one. Don't need a remote.
  624. 36:05Think we're good.
  625. 36:06Small storage shelf. I got to buy a
  626. 36:08small storage shelf.
  627. 36:14I already bought one of these, didn't I?
  628. 36:20Apparently not.
  629. 36:21Okay.
  630. 36:27If if two of those turn up now, I'm
  631. 36:28going to be really annoyed.
  632. 36:31Right, I've got to go 120 m down this
  633. 36:33street to go and find that person I just
  634. 36:35bought a load of games off because I
  635. 36:37didn't click the button where it says
  636. 36:38deliver it to me because I'm a lazy
  637. 36:39smeghead.
  638. 36:41I don't want to keep running this. I
  639. 36:42want I want things to come to me. Come
  640. 36:45and trade in, you get more store credit.
  641. 36:48This just looks dodgy.
  642. 36:50Have you got the stuff, mate? Yeah,
  643. 36:51cool. Thanks, bud. Yeah.
  644. 36:54I just bought a random box of whatever
  645. 36:56is inside this for a random dodgy guy
  646. 36:59down a back alley in a really random
  647. 37:01street.
  648. 37:02That's not horrible. That's not like
  649. 37:04conspicuous at all.
  650. 37:12Now that's good.
  651. 37:17Can I buy a broken console?
  652. 37:20That's a rip-off.
  653. 37:23That's a rip-off.
  654. 37:25It's Hold on. I saw it. It's rare.
  655. 37:28Did it sell?
  656. 37:36I literally saw it pop up. See, I would
  657. 37:39I'm going to buy this.
  658. 37:42Deliver it to me because I'm lazy. Get
  659. 37:44it here. We're all good.
  660. 37:47Um that's a steal. You know what? We'll
  661. 37:50buy that as well. I don't
  662. 37:51I don't want to pick it up.
  663. 37:53Means I have to go and get it. I don't
  664. 37:55want to do this.
  665. 37:59Is there just Can I just push the word
  666. 38:01delivery and Yeah.
  667. 38:04Cool. Excellent.
  668. 38:08I'll take that lot as well.
  669. 38:12Thanks. I think we're we're spending
  670. 38:14quite a lot of money.
  671. 38:21Now it says it's a rip-off.
  672. 38:23Uh I want to haggle.
  673. 38:25Down 30% low enough to offend.
  674. 38:30Yeah, all right.
  675. 38:33Uh
  676. 38:36decline.
  677. 38:38I don't want it.
  678. 38:39I'm going to go to bed.
  679. 38:53>> Man's got two parcels. They're going to
  680. 38:55drop that off for me.
  681. 38:57I love the fact that people actually
  682. 38:58walk around with umbrellas. Most of
  683. 39:00these games don't even think of that.
  684. 39:01It's like, oh, it's raining. Yes, cool.
  685. 39:03Right, so it's raining.
  686. 39:06We're just going to walk around anyway.
  687. 39:07It's fine.
  688. 39:10[sighs]
  689. 39:14I got I got the controller. I'm fine.
  690. 39:18What is it? I can't remember what I
  691. 39:19ordered.
  692. 39:22Ah, storage.
  693. 39:26Just stick it there. It's all good.
  694. 39:32Yeah, I knew I bought two of these.
  695. 39:43Well, I got nothing else apart from
  696. 39:44people coming towards me today. [music]
  697. 39:46So let's open up the store.
  698. 39:52Right. Let's stick this up for Let's uh
  699. 39:54clean it off.
  700. 40:32Apparently this game doesn't like the
  701. 40:33fact that it's got controllers.
  702. 40:36So I can clean up the back okay.
  703. 40:41But the front end looks like I can't do
  704. 40:45the analog sticks.
  705. 41:00>> There might be a way around that.
  706. 41:04I didn't even read what needed to be
  707. 41:05done on this.
  708. 41:18I think this is just a cleaning job.
  709. 41:23I hope.
  710. 41:44Great, reassemble.
  711. 41:47Whack it all together, console test.
  712. 41:51Excellent. So that can go back to there.
  713. 41:54All good to view. Cool.
  714. 41:57Uh
  715. 41:58Yeah, give me a second. You got the
  716. 42:00green one.
  717. 42:03Thanks, bud. Have a nice day.
  718. 42:27Uh you can hear the music, but there's
  719. 42:29no picture. Sometimes it flashes the
  720. 42:30screen. Okay, so that's basically a
  721. 42:32screen error.
  722. 42:58>> It's a lot of jabbing.
  723. 43:01Right, so this is a screen error, but I
  724. 43:03do want to clean it first just because
  725. 43:05it's customer service, you know?
  726. 43:14Lovely jubbly.
  727. 43:25Uh, flip it over.
  728. 43:41Yeah, dude. Right.
  729. 43:43Customer waiting.
  730. 43:47Have a great day. Right, so
  731. 43:50the screen error with this is
  732. 43:53the I reckon it's the ribbon that
  733. 43:55connects from the main screen to the
  734. 43:57power.
  735. 43:59Now, I could be I'm probably making
  736. 44:00[clears throat] this episode go along
  737. 44:01cuz I can't remember.
  738. 44:06There it is.
  739. 44:25Just reassemble.
  740. 44:33Ta-da.
  741. 44:41You're Yep, you are. I've got your
  742. 44:42Nintendo.
  743. 44:46And it works perfectly, by the way.
  744. 44:48Perfectly.
  745. 44:50It's clean. And oh my god, how did you
  746. 44:52lose the sticker the sticker under the
  747. 44:54sticker?
  748. 44:56It was literally a sticker under a
  749. 44:57sticker.
  750. 44:59[sighs and gasps] Okay, this guy this
  751. 45:00person's bringing me another console.
  752. 45:04I'm not sure what it is. It's large and
  753. 45:05pink.
  754. 45:06That's what she said.
  755. 45:08Uh my little brother got hold of my of
  756. 45:10my jewel. It's covered in stickers,
  757. 45:12filth all over. Could you give it a good
  758. 45:13clean? I can come back tomorrow.
  759. 45:16Not a problem. We can chuck that up
  760. 45:18there. We'll deal with that later.
  761. 45:19Goodbye.
  762. 45:22You said you were coming back tomorrow.
  763. 45:26Bye.
  764. 45:30I'm going to deal with this.
  765. 45:44So even though you said you were coming
  766. 45:45back tomorrow, you're going to wait.
  767. 45:49Okay.
  768. 46:05Still cleaning.
  769. 46:15Perfect.
  770. 46:20Even though she said she was going to
  771. 46:21come back tomorrow, she waited. Now that
  772. 46:23is a customer with a
  773. 46:25she wanted it done.
  774. 46:32Mercy buckets.
  775. 46:41Oh, I've got no more batteries left.
  776. 46:50Where do I get batteries from?
  777. 46:52Batteries.
  778. 46:56Uh Uh a big pack of AA. It would take
  779. 46:57four packs of AA.
  780. 47:03I'll take them all.
  781. 47:07Uh I'll do 54.
  782. 47:11Thanks, bud.
  783. 47:13There we go.
  784. 47:16I have no idea how much I'm charging for
  785. 47:17that stuff though.
  786. 47:20I
  787. 47:21I don't I'm assuming if I undercharge
  788. 47:23somebody
  789. 47:24Yeah, so I I'm taking 50 I I paid him 54
  790. 47:27quid.
  791. 47:28One game's worth £85, the other three
  792. 47:30are worth a tenner, and the other one is
  793. 47:32worth 20. So I'm making
  794. 47:3660 70 quid off of that one box.
  795. 47:38It's not bad. Not bad at all.
  796. 47:42Can't stretch to £19.46 right now, but
  797. 47:44I'm willing to buy the £85 game off the
  798. 47:46shelf.
  799. 47:48So why don't you just buy the 19 quid
  800. 47:49game and a few others? Yeah.
  801. 47:52Uh
  802. 47:54I'd like to
  803. 47:57I'll do 36.
  804. 47:59All right, cool. Cheers, man.
  805. 48:04Hello.
  806. 48:07Yeah.
  807. 48:13Batteries.
  808. 48:21Or in the great words of Ali G, batres.
  809. 48:28I think we're almost done for the day,
  810. 48:31and I think we're almost done for this
  811. 48:32video. So
  812. 48:34if
  813. 48:35That's not bad. You know what? It cost
  814. 48:37minus £389, but that's because I got
  815. 48:39stuff on the shelves,
  816. 48:41and that's just the reason why.
  817. 48:43In fairness, I actually don't mind this
  818. 48:45game too much. It's
  819. 48:47[music] It's not I don't have to rush
  820. 48:48around I I mean, yes, at the start
  821. 48:50you're going to have to rush around a
  822. 48:51lot so you don't have a so you don't
  823. 48:52have a sale stuff.
  824. 48:53But once you've got somebody in place to
  825. 48:55do the the checkout,
  826. 48:58you can take your time doing repairs,
  827. 48:59and that's okay.
  828. 49:01And that's kind of what I wanted in the
  829. 49:02demo, but obviously I can't get that in
  830. 49:04the demo. So, from my perspective, as
  831. 49:07long as this game is not like 20 quid,
  832. 49:09um this isn't too bad. I would even say
  833. 49:12if it's below £15,
  834. 49:14it's okay. But if it's over that £15 20
  835. 49:16mark,
  836. 49:17it's not really going to be worth your
  837. 49:19time and money because there's not going
  838. 49:20to be a lot in this game to draw you
  839. 49:21back into it, which is the downside to a
  840. 49:24lot of these like indie games. [music]
  841. 49:27When it comes to a like a cookie cutter
  842. 49:29game like this, which is very much
  843. 49:31supermarket simulator or anything you're
  844. 49:32going to put stuff on the shelves, you
  845. 49:34have to have a clear hobby about this
  846. 49:36topic. Like for me, I like dealing with
  847. 49:38retro games. I like, you know, consoles
  848. 49:41and handhelds and bits of pieces. That's
  849. 49:43that's what I grew up with. But for
  850. 49:45somebody who might be younger than me,
  851. 49:46who might not want to care about too
  852. 49:48much of this sort of retroy crap and
  853. 49:50they're just more like in tune with the
  854. 49:52modern era,
  855. 49:53they're not going to really care about
  856. 49:54this unless they have that kind of a
  857. 49:56draw to a nostalgic more feel that their
  858. 49:58parents grew up with, that sort of
  859. 49:59thing. So for me, it's a game if you
  860. 50:02like this sort of thing, it's good for
  861. 50:04you. If you don't like this sort of
  862. 50:06thing and you're not a big fan of
  863. 50:07supermarket games and you don't really
  864. 50:09give a rat's ass about nostalgia or
  865. 50:11retro consoles and bits of pieces,
  866. 50:13you're not going to really care about
  867. 50:14this game. But for the right price, this
  868. 50:16game could be good for everybody as long
  869. 50:18as it doesn't take the piss. It's that
  870. 50:20simple. Anyways, until then, I'm going
  871. 50:22to say thank you very much for watching.

  879. 50:32you guys are doing. Have a great rest of
