- 0:00the mesh on our wireframe sometimes is
- 0:02very limiting in terms of how much
- 0:04detail can be sculpted or added
- 0:06[Music]
- 0:08however when we voxel remesh
- 0:11[Music]
- 0:12at a higher resolution
- 0:14we have much more geometry to work with
- 0:17sometimes this can be a bad thing if you
- 0:20want to smooth overall areas or of your
- 0:22model in which case we will voxel remesh
- 0:25to a lower resolution for blocking
- 0:27purposes to get our overall forms in and
- 0:30then once we have that in a good place
- 0:32we'll go to a higher density or a higher
- 0:35resolution box remesh in order to sculpt
- 0:37in the finer details
- 0:40one other great tip for using voxel
- 0:42remeshing is if you want to merge two
- 0:44objects into each other you can do a
- 0:46simple merge then voxel remesh and
- 0:48they'll be combined into one
- 0:50that's essentially the workflow i go
- 0:52through when i voxel remesh an object
