9. 0:38words even as Christians we can talk

11. 0:42as a book but also as like a message but
12. 0:45the Quran talks about the uh the gospel
13. 0:49as a book and your average Muslim really
14. 0:53believes that the Quran says that the
15. 0:57gospel has been corrupted and why I find
16. 1:00this so amazing is you can look up every
17. 1:02single reference there are only 12 of
18. 1:04them there you can look up every single
19. 1:05reference to the gospel every time the
20. 1:08Quran mentions the gospel you can look
21. 1:10up every passage I don't I can't find
22. 1:12one word even suggesting or hinting that
23. 1:15the gospel has been corrupted in fact
24. 1:17I'll give everyone the references right
25. 1:18here in case you want to look up every
26. 1:20single uh every single reference uh
27. 1:22you've got Surah 3 verse 3 Surah 3:48
28. 1:26Surah 3: 65 Surah 5:46 Sur 5 verse 47
29. 1:31Sur 5 verse 66 Sur 5 verse 68 Sur 510
30. 1:37Sur 7
31. 1:39157 Surah 9 verse 111 Surah 48 ver 29
32. 1:43and Surah 57: 27 that is every single
33. 1:47time the Quran mentions the gospel I
34. 1:49challenge everyone out there to find one
35. 1:52hint that the Quran is saying our book
36. 1:55has been corrupted but it is what
37. 1:57Muslims believe so what do you think we
38. 1:59have have two problems the first one uh
39. 2:02not just two problems in the Quran in
40. 2:04this subject only two problems in the
41. 2:06Quran is that what you're saying two two
42. 2:08two problems with this idea first of all
43. 2:10when I grew up I was thinking the gospel
44. 2:14is like the Quran Jesus is like Muhammad

52. 2:34he died he left the book so we project
53. 2:37our history to Christianity we think it
54. 2:40went through the same phases which is
55. 2:43not true so we have a problem
56. 2:45understanding what is the
57. 2:47gospel the gospel is good
58. 2:51news the the even inil which the word
59. 2:55Arabic it's from Greek it's not an
60. 2:58Arabic word and the Quran never
61. 3:00translated it never explained it so we
62. 3:04just we have injil is another book like
63. 3:07the Quran it should have been written by
64. 3:09Jesus so when we come and read the
65. 3:12gospel of Matthew the Gospel of Mark
66. 3:15Luke and John then we will be like oh
67. 3:18this is not the gospel because the Quran
68. 3:20gave us an impression it's a book that
69. 3:22belongs to Jesus and God gave it to him
70. 3:25he never the Quran never explained to us
71. 3:27it was the good news about Jesus the
72. 3:30life of Jesus was written by his
73. 3:32disciples this is the first confusion
74. 3:35that Muslims do not understand and
75. 3:38that's why they accuse the gospel of
76. 3:39being corrupt and there's a there's a a
77. 3:43problem here even with the word inil you
78. 3:46pointed out this is ultimately derived
79. 3:48from it's from the Greek yelan and so

81. 3:52you take a word in one language and put
82. 3:54it into another language but it it's

92. 4:15name they're getting a yelan which is a
93. 4:17Greek word why does it have a Greek
94. 4:19title for for for that book all the
95. 4:22names of the prophets are written from
96. 4:24Greek in the Quran unas is Jonas is from
97. 4:28Greek and then take other others the
98. 4:31same thing so going back to the other
99. 4:34problem is the the the Quran never as
100. 4:38you said mentioned that the gospel has
101. 4:41been changed but Muslims believe that
102. 4:45the gospel has been changed so this is
103. 4:47the other problem yeah and they have to
104. 4:50deal with it show us where the Quran
105. 4:53says that the gospel was changed they
106. 4:56have nothing except if they say uh that

116. 5:21we're prophets who are to come and so on
117. 5:23and Muslims say what in the world are
118. 5:24you talking about we're looking through
119. 5:26here we don't find it and you say Ah
120. 5:28that's because your your book's been
121. 5:29corrupted
122. 5:30that doesn't make any sense right if I'm
123. 5:32saying something is there and you go
124. 5:33there and it's not there that's a
125. 5:34problem for me that's a problem for me
126. 5:36making the claim if I say hey you want
127. 5:38to know I'm a prophet uh run run outside
128. 5:40go down by the river there's going to be
129. 5:41a big sign there saying David Wood's a
130. 5:43prophet and you go down there and
131. 5:44there's no sign there saying David
132. 5:46Wood's a prophet or even even worse if
133. 5:48if you go down there and it says do not
134. 5:49believe in David wood he's a false
135. 5:51prophet makes no sense to say oh the
136. 5:53sign's been corrupted I told you what
137. 5:54the sign's going to say and it doesn't
138. 5:56say that but even if we take that it's
139. 5:58going to contradict other vers from the
140. 6:00Quran for example
141. 6:03568 say oh people of of the scripture
142. 6:07you are standing on nothing until you
143. 6:10uphold the law of the Torah the gospel
144. 6:13and what has been revealed to you from
145. 6:15your lord so Muhammad is addressing his
146. 6:18the Jews and Christians in his time in
147. 6:21his place and saying you are standing on
148. 6:23nothing and until you apply what's in
149. 6:27the Torah and the gospel what has been
150. 6:30revealed to you how can you challenge
151. 6:33Christians and Jews to apply to
152. 6:37live something that they don't have
153. 6:41something that was
154. 6:42corrupted it's it's it's absurd it is
155. 6:45and it makes I mean think if if the
156. 6:48Quran were saying what Muslims today say
157. 6:51hey your book's been corrupted therefore
158. 6:54you need the Quran then the Quran should
159. 6:57be saying to Jews and Christians hey
160. 6:59guys uh your books have been corrupted
161. 7:02therefore do not judge by your books do
162. 7:04not stand upon your books you you you
163. 7:06are correct to not be following your
164. 7:08books you should be following the Quran

169. 7:18Christians you guys need to follow your
170. 7:19scriptures and specifically sends the
171. 7:21Christians back to the gospel Christians
172. 7:24follow the gospel judge by the gospel
173. 7:26Allah gave the gospel to you that's what
174. 7:28you're supposed to judge by by and then
175. 7:30Muslims say the
176. 7:32exact opposite of what their God says

210. 9:08ground to stand upon unless they stand
211. 9:10upon the gospel if it was lost and how
212. 9:12much did this gospel stay if Jesus died

214. 9:20have today is Mark is 56 so it's only 23
215. 9:23years so this gospel that God revealed
216. 9:26to guide Humanity lasted only 23 years
217. 9:30what what a waste M you did all this for
218. 9:3323 years and it's uh again it it
219. 9:38completely contradicts the Quran yeah
220. 9:40because the impression you get from the
221. 9:42Quran I mean because the Quran says it
222. 9:43Christians still have the gospel the uh
223. 9:47they're still supposed to judge by the
224. 9:48gospel um they have no ground to stand
225. 9:51upon unless they stand upon the gospel
226. 9:52this means that they still had the
227. 9:54gospel in the 7th Century wait what's
228. 9:56that mean so it means it was there in
229. 9:57the first century it was there in the
230. 9:58second centur third Century 4th Century
231. 10:00fifth century 6th Century all the way to
232. 10:02the sth century and had spread all the
233. 10:05way down to Arabia yes and so if you say
234. 10:08oh this is talking about a book by
235. 10:09Jesus wait it existed for for centuries
236. 10:13and spread across the world yeah where
237. 10:16find us a reference to this lost Gospel
238. 10:19of Jesus it's it's only in their
239. 10:21imagination yeah only exist in history
240. 10:25nobody talked about it only the Muslims
241. 10:27are talking about it and so so this is
242. 10:29it's just an amazing situation where
243. 10:33Muslims think we have the problem their
244. 10:35book affirms our book yeah but it it
245. 10:38doesn't understand it it thinks that the
246. 10:40the gospel is a book that that was to
247. 10:43Jesus gave to Jesus and we say there's
248. 10:46nothing like that and they say haha you
249. 10:48have a problem not realizing you lost it
250. 10:50yeah not realiz yeah you guys lost it
251. 10:52you lost the book that we said and they
252. 10:54don't realize guys we can't even take
253. 10:56that seriously we can't take the Quran
254. 10:58seriously because the Quran doesn't say
255. 11:00that the Quran says that the book that
256. 11:02Christians still have in the 7th century
257. 11:05and we have copies from before that time
258. 11:06and after that time we know what the
259. 11:07gospel says in in the time of Muhammad
260. 11:11it's you the the Quran says we still
261. 11:13have it so it's not some lost book your
262. 11:16Prophet just had no clue what he was
263. 11:17talking about exactly yeah and you know
264. 11:19what Dave when when I heard this the
265. 11:21first time started understanding what's
266. 11:24what exactly the gospel is I just
267. 11:26laughed at

269. 11:32was a book that was revealed by the

272. 11:41people from that book you don't read it

275. 11:50cannot take it seriously when you look
276. 11:53at it Jesus was preaching he was the The
277. 11:56Living gospel he was not taking aook
278. 11:59book he was not reading verses from a
279. 12:01book he was preaching to people and his
280. 12:03disciples wrote that down if Muslims do
281. 12:06not get this idea I think we cannot
282. 12:08start talking to them anywhere and
283. 12:11they're not going to get it until
284. 12:13Christians make them get it and so I
285. 12:15would just en encourage all the
286. 12:16Christians out there learn what the
287. 12:18Quran says about the gospel and then in
288. 12:21discussions with your Muslim friends say
289. 12:23here's what your Quran says affirming
290. 12:25the inspiration preservation and
291. 12:27authority of the Gospel
