- 0:01you might not realize it but there are
- 0:03hundreds of chemicals in the air in our
- 0:05homes chemicals people are unwittingly
- 0:08inhaling every day things like decane
- 0:11Benzene ethylene glycol coming out of
- 0:14things we own like furniture paint
- 0:18carpet kitchen cabinets computer
- 0:21keyboards and cleaning supplies they're
- 0:24called
- 0:25voc's many of them are Asthma and
- 0:27Allergy triggers you can't see them but
- 0:31they're found throughout a typical home
- 0:33the EPA says 188 of these things are
- 0:37hazardous air pollutants even slightly
- 0:41elevated levels of these emissions have
- 0:43the potential of producing health issues
- 0:46among allergy sufferers asthma sufferers
- 0:49as well as young children the elderly
- 0:52and women who are pregnant and according
- 0:55to the EPA concentrations of this stuff
- 0:58are consistently higher indoors in fact
- 1:02up to 10 times higher than
- 1:05[Music]
