- 0:00When you pray, remember who you are
- 0:02speaking to. Never doubt the power of
- 0:05God. And what if, just when you think
- 0:09no more doors can open for you, you are
- 0:11forgetting the most important truth of
- 0:13your faith? And if, while looking at
- 0:16the difficulties and wondering how you
- 0:18will manage to go on, you are
- 0:20underestimating the one to whom you can
- 0:23entrust your fears, your tears, and the
- 0:25hopes you still hold in your heart,
- 0:27stop for a moment. When you pray, you
- 0:30are not just uttering words in the
- 0:32silence of a room; you are addressing
- 0:35God, the creator of the universe, the
- 0:37one who knows your story and
- 0:39understands even the pains you cannot
- 0:42explain to anyone. What if I told you
- 0:44that one of the deepest aspects of
- 0:46prayer is not finding the perfect words
- 0:49, but confidently remembering who you
- 0:51are speaking to? Perhaps you have
- 0:53prayed without seeing the desired
- 0:55change and asked yourself: "Does God
- 0:57really hear me?" Can my prayer make a
- 1:00difference? It is precisely here that a
- 1:03reflection begins, capable of changing
- 1:05the way you face trials. The Christian
- 1:08faith invites us to recognize that no
- 1:10created force can be compared to the
- 1:12greatness of God. But prayer is not a
- 1:15magic formula to automatically obtain
- 1:17what we desire. It is an encounter with
- 1:21the Lord, a sincere entrustment that
- 1:23can transform how we view our
- 1:25circumstances, give us courage, and
- 1:27help us recognize paths that fear
- 1:29prevented us from even considering.
- 1:32Sometimes God changes a situation,
- 1:34other times he begins by changing our
- 1:36heart, so that we can go through it
- 1:38without losing hope. How can we trust
- 1:42when we still see nothing? And what
- 1:45happens when we stop praying only to
- 1:47ask for a solution and learn to rely on
- 1:49the wisdom of the Father? In this study
- 1:52, we will discover biblical teachings
- 1:54to ensure doubt does not stifle our
- 1:56trust. We will see how prayer can
- 1:59become a refuge, a light, and strength.
- 2:02Pay particular attention to the
- 2:04penultimate teaching. It could help you
- 2:06see trust in God with new eyes. It does
- 2:10not promise that every wish will be
- 2:11granted, but it shows how faith can
- 2:13guide you through uncertainty. Before
- 2:16we begin, write in the comments "Peace
- 2:18in Christ" as an expression of your
- 2:20desire to welcome the peace of Jesus
- 2:22into your life. If this message speaks
- 2:25to your heart, leave a sign of
- 2:27appreciation. It can help YouTube
- 2:29suggest it to those in need of hope.
- 2:32Subscribe to the channel to continue
- 2:34dedicating time to the word of God.
- 2:37Many people find spiritual support in
- 2:39these reflections, and you too can
- 2:41contribute to this prayer community.
- 2:44You do not need to have all the answers
- 2:46to turn to the Lord. Come to him with
- 2:49your questions, your gratitude, and
- 2:50your wounds. Do not confuse silence
- 2:53with abandonment. Now set aside
- 2:56distractions and listen with an open
- 2:58heart. Ask the Father for the wisdom to
- 3:01understand what you must do, the
- 3:03patience to face what you cannot change
- 3:05, and the courage to take the next step
- 3:07. Let us begin this journey by
- 3:10entrusting our worries to God and
- 3:12remembering an essential truth. When
- 3:15you pray, do not rely on the perfection
- 3:17of your words, but on the goodness and
- 3:19faithfulness of the One to whom you
- 3:21address them. Jesus’ prayer in
- 3:25Gethsemane: trusting the Father even
- 3:27when you do not understand His will.
- 3:31There are moments when believing in
- 3:34God's power seems easy, and others when
- 3:36faith is tested to its very roots. When
- 3:39things are going well, praying with
- 3:42gratitude can come naturally. But when
- 3:45painful news arrives, a loved one
- 3:48drifts away, or a door closes just as
- 3:50you hoped to find a solution, words
- 3:53become difficult. The silence seems to
- 3:56weigh more than any answer. In those
- 3:59moments, remember one of the most
- 4:01profound scenes in the Gospels: Jesus
- 4:03in Gethsemane, on the eve of His
- 4:05passion. Even while knowing the
- 4:07Father's will, Jesus experiences true
- 4:09anguish; He does not pretend that pain
- 4:11does not exist, nor does He hide what
- 4:13He feels; He withdraws to pray and
- 4:15brings the weight of that hour before
- 4:17the Father. In the Gospel according to
- 4:20Matthew, Jesus says: "My Father, if it
- 4:23is possible, let this cup pass from me;
- 4:26yet, not as I will, but as you will."
- 4:29Matthew 26:39. Stop to consider these
- 4:33words. Jesus expresses the weight of
- 4:36the trial, but does not interrupt His
- 4:38trust. His prayer teaches us that faith
- 4:41does not mean never feeling fear, never
- 4:43suffering, or never wishing for a
- 4:45painful situation to end. It means
- 4:48going through all of this without ever
- 4:49stopping the conversation with God.
- 4:52Perhaps you have thought that to be a
- 4:54true believer, you had to come before
- 4:56the Lord without doubts, tears, or
- 4:58questions. Gethsemane shows us the
- 5:01opposite. You can be sincere with God
- 5:04even when your heart is wounded. You
- 5:06can tell Him that you are tired, that
- 5:08you do not understand, and that you
- 5:09would have wished for a different path.
- 5:12Authentic prayer does not ask you to
- 5:13hide your fragility, but to bring it
- 5:15before the Father. Here is a truth
- 5:18capable of changing the way you pray.
- 5:21Trusting in God does not mean knowing
- 5:23the outcome in advance, but believing
- 5:25that His wisdom surpasses our limited
- 5:28view of the present. You see what is
- 5:30happening today, you know your needs
- 5:33and fear the consequences, but you
- 5:35cannot see all the future possibilities
- 5:37. This does not mean that every
- 5:40suffering was sent by God or that every
- 5:42painful event necessarily hides an
- 5:44immediate blessing. It means that even
- 5:48within a reality you wouldn't have
- 5:50chosen, you can seek His presence and
- 5:52ask for the strength not to lose
- 5:54yourself. Divine power does not
- 5:56manifest itself only when the problem
- 5:58disappears. It can also manifest in the
- 6:02courage to face it, the clarity to make
- 6:04a right choice, and the perseverance to
- 6:06keep walking. Think about how much
- 6:09energy you consume trying to control
- 6:11what does not depend entirely on you.
- 6:14You replay conversations, imagine the
- 6:16worst consequences, and end up living
- 6:18today the pain you fear for tomorrow.
- 6:22Prayer can become the moment when you
- 6:24break this cycle and recognize that you
- 6:26don't have to bear the weight of your
- 6:28entire existence alone. It doesn't mean
- 6:31giving up responsibilities; it means
- 6:33asking God to help you distinguish what
- 6:35you must do from what you must entrust
- 6:37to Him. Sometimes the answer will
- 6:40require a concrete action, a request
- 6:42for forgiveness, a courageous decision,
- 6:45or the willingness to accept change.
- 6:48Other times you will have to wait
- 6:49without knowing when a breakthrough
- 6:51will arrive. Jesus in Gethsemane
- 6:53remained faithful to the mission
- 6:55received from the Father. The cross was
- 6:58not the end of His story. The
- 7:00resurrection revealed that death did
- 7:02not have the last word. For this reason
- 7:04, when you pray in the middle of your
- 7:07night, do not judge your whole life by
- 7:09what you can see today. Pain is real,
- 7:12but it is not necessarily the final
- 7:14page of your journey. Continue to seek
- 7:17God even with a simple prayer, even
- 7:20when you can only say: "Lord, help me
- 7:23to trust in You." If Jesus Himself went
- 7:26through anguish by trusting in the
- 7:28Father, what can Scripture teach you
- 7:30when everything seems impossible? There
- 7:33is another extraordinary scene. A
- 7:35people find themselves in front of an
- 7:37obstacle that no human force seems
- 7:39capable of overcoming. Their story will
- 7:42help us understand why trust should not
- 7:45depend only on what our eyes can see.
- 7:49Moses before the Red Sea; when
- 7:51everything seems impossible, God can
- 7:54show you a way. Have you ever had the
- 7:58feeling of being in front of an
- 7:59insurmountable obstacle, while
- 8:01everything you were trying to escape
- 8:03was approaching behind you? Perhaps you
- 8:06are experiencing a situation in which
- 8:08every choice seems wrong. If you stay
- 8:10where you are, you suffer. If you try
- 8:12to change paths, you fear the
- 8:14consequences. You would like to move
- 8:16forward, but you don't know where to
- 8:18begin. A similar scene appears in the
- 8:21Book of Exodus, when Moses leads the
- 8:23people of Israel out of Egypt. Before
- 8:26the Israelites lies the Red Sea, and
- 8:28behind them approaches Pharaoh's army.
- 8:32To human eyes, there seems to be no way
- 8:34of salvation. The people have left
- 8:37slavery, but now they face an obstacle
- 8:39that seems to make the freedom they had
- 8:41just glimpsed impossible. Imagine the
- 8:44fear of those people. They had believed
- 8:47in the promise of liberation and had
- 8:49begun the journey, but just when
- 8:51another step was needed, they found
- 8:53themselves surrounded by danger. Why
- 8:56did we leave? Why did God lead us this
- 8:58far? What if it had all been a mistake?
- 9:02These are questions similar to those
- 9:03that can arise when a situation worsens
- 9:05right after you have prayed with
- 9:07confidence. Perhaps you had asked the
- 9:10Lord to help you rebuild a relationship
- 9:12, find a financial solution, or
- 9:14overcome a period of sadness. Instead
- 9:17of immediately seeing an open door, you
- 9:20found yourself facing new difficulties.
- 9:22You might think that God has forgotten
- 9:25you, but the story of the Exodus
- 9:27invites us not to confuse an obstacle
- 9:29with proof that all hope is lost. Moses
- 9:32said to the people: "Do not be afraid;
- 9:34be strong and you will see the
- 9:36salvation of the Lord." Exodus 14:13.
- 9:41He was not asking the Israelites to
- 9:43deny the danger or pretend the sea did
- 9:45not exist. He was inviting them not to
- 9:48let fear become the only voice capable
- 9:50of guiding them. There is a big
- 9:52difference between acknowledging a
- 9:54difficulty and convincing yourself that
- 9:56it has already decided your future. The
- 9:58first helps you to face reality. The
- 10:01second can even take away your strength
- 10:03to look for a solution. When you pray,
- 10:06ask the Lord to free you not only from
- 10:08external obstacles, but also from the
- 10:11thoughts that make you feel defeated
- 10:13even before you have taken the next
- 10:15step. According to the biblical account
- 10:18, God commanded Moses to stretch his
- 10:19hand out over the sea. The waters
- 10:22parted and the Israelites crossed the
- 10:24passage opened before them. The way was
- 10:27not visible when the people were
- 10:29standing on the shore. This image
- 10:31reminds us that our ability to imagine
- 10:33the future is limited. When you are
- 10:36hurt, perhaps you only see what you
- 10:38have lost. When you are scared, you
- 10:41only imagine what could go wrong. When
- 10:44you are tired, even a concrete
- 10:47possibility can seem unattainable to
- 10:49you. What you cannot see today, however
- 10:52, does not necessarily coincide with
- 10:54all the possibilities you have before
- 10:56you. This story does not mean that
- 10:58every problem will be resolved exactly
- 11:01as you wish or that praying is enough
- 11:03to witness an immediate miracle.
- 11:05Scripture does not teach us to use God
- 11:08to impose our own timing and plans on
- 11:10reality. It invites us to recognize His
- 11:13faithfulness and to walk with
- 11:14confidence even when we do not know the
- 11:16outcome. Perhaps the path will be
- 11:18different from the one you had imagined
- 11:20. It might require patience,
- 11:23someone’s help, a difficult decision,
- 11:25or the strength to start over. Do not
- 11:28despise these possibilities just
- 11:30because they do not resemble the
- 11:32solution you asked for. The next time
- 11:34you feel you are standing before your
- 11:36own Red Sea, try praying like this.
- 11:39Lord, I do not see the way yet, but I
- 11:41do not want to let fear decide for me.
- 11:45Grant me the wisdom to recognize the
- 11:47next step and the strength to take it;
- 11:50what concrete action can you take today
- 11:52, even if it is small? Trust is not
- 11:55stillness; it is the willingness to
- 11:57move forward without needing to know
- 11:59every detail of the journey. But what
- 12:02can you do when the door does not open,
- 12:04when you have been praying for a long
- 12:06time and the silence seems to continue?
- 12:08Perseverance can safeguard faith even
- 12:11while you wait. To understand this, we
- 12:14encounter a woman who brought before
- 12:16God a pain so intimate that she could
- 12:18not even express it with audible words.
- 12:21Her story will show us that even a
- 12:23silent prayer can be a profound act of
- 12:26trust. Hannah, the woman who prayed in
- 12:30silence when God knows the tears that
- 12:33no one sees. There are sorrows you can
- 12:37tell and others that remain hidden in
- 12:39the deepest part of your heart. You may
- 12:42smile before others, carry out your
- 12:44tasks, and say that everything is fine,
- 12:46while inside you continue to carry a
- 12:48wound that seems not to heal. Perhaps
- 12:52you have prayed many times for a
- 12:53situation, tried to keep hope alive,
- 12:56and waited for a change that has not
- 12:58come. After so much waiting, you might
- 13:01have wondered if your words ever
- 13:03reached God. If you know this feeling,
- 13:07the story of Hannah told in the first
- 13:09book of Samuel deserves your attention.
- 13:12It reminds us that the value of prayer
- 13:14does not depend on the beauty of words,
- 13:17nor on the ability to show others how
- 13:19strong we are. Hannah was living
- 13:21through deep suffering. She longed to
- 13:24have a child but could not realize this
- 13:26desire, and her affliction was
- 13:28aggravated by the provocations she
- 13:30endured. Scripture tells us that she
- 13:33wept and that her sorrow took away her
- 13:35appetite. She must have wished to be
- 13:37understood without being able to
- 13:39explain everything she was feeling. Yet
- 13:41she brought her pain before the Lord.
- 13:44In the sanctuary at Shiloh, she prayed
- 13:46intensely, moving her lips without
- 13:48making an audible sound. The priest Eli
- 13:51, seeing her, initially thought she was
- 13:54drunk. Hannah then explained to him
- 13:56that this was not the case. She was a
- 13:58brokenhearted woman who was pouring out
- 14:00her soul before God. This scene
- 14:03contains a precious teaching. God does
- 14:06not need you to turn your suffering
- 14:08into a perfect speech to understand
- 14:10what you are going through. Sometimes
- 14:12you can only pray with a few words;
- 14:15other times you remain silent, not
- 14:17knowing how to express your fear. Do
- 14:20not believe that this silence makes
- 14:22your prayer less authentic. You can
- 14:24present yourself before the Lord just
- 14:26as you are, without masks and without
- 14:28shame. The relationship with God is not
- 14:31based on appearance, but on the
- 14:32sincerity of the heart. Observe this
- 14:35detail as well. Hannah did not hide her
- 14:38pain, nor did she pretend to be serene;
- 14:40she brought it into the presence of God
- 14:42. Prayer does not guarantee that the
- 14:44Lord will grant what we desire. It
- 14:47means that prayer can become a space
- 14:49where we stop pretending to have
- 14:51everything under control and
- 14:53acknowledge our vulnerability.
- 14:56Sometimes the first change begins right
- 14:58when we find the courage to name our
- 15:00suffering and no longer face it as if
- 15:02we were completely alone. The story
- 15:05continues with a significant detail.
- 15:08After listening to Hannah, Eli wished
- 15:10that the God of Israel would grant what
- 15:12she had asked for. Hannah went away,
- 15:15ate, and her face was no longer the
- 15:17same as before. The situation had not
- 15:20yet changed outwardly, but something
- 15:22within her had begun to transform.
- 15:25Later she conceived a son, Samuel, and
- 15:28recognized in that birth an answer to
- 15:31her plea. Her story had a particular
- 15:34outcome that we cannot turn into a
- 15:36promise that every desire will be
- 15:38fulfilled in the same way. The lesson
- 15:41is not that faith guarantees the result
- 15:44we want, but that we can turn to God in
- 15:47suffering without letting it erase all
- 15:49hope. Perhaps you too have been waiting
- 15:52for something for a long time:
- 15:54reconciliation with a loved one, a new
- 15:56opportunity, peace in the family, or
- 15:59the strength to face a difficult
- 16:01reality. Do not let the waiting
- 16:03convince you that you have no value.
- 16:06Your dignity does not depend on what
- 16:08you do not yet possess, and your
- 16:09relationship with God is not a contract
- 16:11in which you measure His love by
- 16:13counting fulfilled requests. You can
- 16:16continue to pray, seek help when you
- 16:18need it, and take concrete steps
- 16:21without giving up hope. Remember Hannah
- 16:24, when no one seems to understand what
- 16:25you carry inside. You can say to the
- 16:28Lord: "Father, you know what I cannot
- 16:31explain. Help me not to lose trust
- 16:34while I go through this moment. You do
- 16:37not have to prove to anyone how great
- 16:39your faith is. You can cultivate it
- 16:41even in secret, one day at a time. But
- 16:45how can you keep your peace when fear
- 16:46continually seeks to dominate your
- 16:48thoughts? The next reflection will lead
- 16:51us to a teaching capable of changing
- 16:54the way you face daily worries,
- 16:56especially when your mind seems not to
- 16:58grant you even a moment of rest. Elijah
- 17:03on Mount Carmel, when prayer becomes
- 17:06total trust in the power of God. There
- 17:10is a moment in life when it is no
- 17:12longer enough to look for a human
- 17:13solution. You have tried to reason, you
- 17:16have sought answers, you have asked for
- 17:18advice, and you have done everything
- 17:20within your power, but the situation
- 17:22still seems at a standstill. It is
- 17:25precisely in those moments that you
- 17:26must remember a fundamental truth. Your
- 17:29prayer does not depend on the greatness
- 17:31of your words, but on the One to whom
- 17:33you turn. Holy Scripture offers us an
- 17:36extraordinary testimony of this reality
- 17:39through the figure of the prophet
- 17:41Elijah, a man who had to face a
- 17:42situation in which the power of God
- 17:45seemed to have been forgotten by his
- 17:47people. In the first book of Kings,
- 17:50chapter 18, we find Elijah on Mount
- 17:53Carmel. Israel was living through a
- 17:55period of deep spiritual crisis. Many
- 17:58had turned away from the Lord,
- 18:00following the cult of Baal, and the
- 18:02prophet found himself before a crowd
- 18:03that needed to recognize who the true
- 18:05God was. The scene was impressive. On
- 18:09one side the prophets of Baal, on the
- 18:11other Elijah, alone before an entire
- 18:13nation. The challenge consisted of
- 18:16asking their own God to answer by fire.
- 18:19The prophets of Baal shouted, invoked
- 18:21their God, and continued for hours, but
- 18:24nothing happened. No voice, no answer,
- 18:28no sign. Elijah, on the other hand, did
- 18:31not try to impress the crowd with
- 18:33spectacular gestures, nor did he trust
- 18:35in his own ability to persuade God. He
- 18:38prepared the altar of the Lord,
- 18:40arranged the sacrifice, and even asked
- 18:42for water to be poured over it, making
- 18:45the situation humanly even more
- 18:47difficult. Then he turned to the Lord
- 18:49in prayer, asking that the people
- 18:51recognize that He was the true God and
- 18:53that the hearts of the Israelites would
- 18:55return to Him. The answer was immediate
- 18:58and extraordinary. The fire of the Lord
- 19:01descended and consumed the sacrifice,
- 19:02the wood, the stones, and even the
- 19:04water. The people, seeing what had
- 19:07happened, prostrated themselves,
- 19:09recognizing the greatness of God. But
- 19:11pause for a moment to reflect. The most
- 19:15important part of this story is not
- 19:16just the fire that fell from heaven,
- 19:18but the reason why Elijah prayed. He
- 19:21did not seek to demonstrate how
- 19:23personally powerful he was, nor did he
- 19:25wish to transform prayer into a tool to
- 19:28satisfy his own ambition. He wanted the
- 19:31people to return to recognizing the
- 19:33Lord. His prayer was oriented toward
- 19:35the glory of God and the conversion of
- 19:37hearts. Here is an essential
- 19:39distinction for your spiritual life as
- 19:42well. To pray does not mean finding the
- 19:45right words to force God to do what you
- 19:47desire. There is no formula capable of
- 19:50guaranteeing the result you imagine, as
- 19:52if faith were a mechanism to be
- 19:54activated. Christian prayer is a living
- 19:57relationship with the Father, in which
- 19:59you learn to present your needs, to
- 20:02listen to His word, and to entrust
- 20:04yourself to His will. Perhaps you are
- 20:06going through a situation that seems
- 20:08impossible to you. You have prayed for
- 20:11your family, for work, for a difficult
- 20:13decision, or for a door that continues
- 20:16to remain closed. And after so many
- 20:19requests, you wonder if God is truly
- 20:21listening to you. Elijah's testimony
- 20:24invites you not to mistake the silence
- 20:26you perceive for the absence of God.
- 20:29However, it does not mean that every
- 20:31request of yours will necessarily
- 20:33receive a spectacular or immediate
- 20:34answer. The Lord is not obligated to
- 20:37repeat in your life the same signs He
- 20:39performed on Mount Carmel. His power is
- 20:42measured not only through what you can
- 20:44see, but also through the work He does
- 20:46in the heart of those who trust in Him.
- 20:49Sometimes, in fact, the miracle you
- 20:52await is an external change. At other
- 20:55times, the grace you receive is the
- 20:57strength to face a trial without losing
- 21:00faith, the ability to forgive when pain
- 21:02holds you back, or the clarity needed
- 21:05to take a step that previously seemed
- 21:07impossible. This does not mean giving
- 21:10up on asking with confidence for what
- 21:12you need. It means continuing to pray
- 21:15without claiming to decide yourself how
- 21:17and when God must intervene. When you
- 21:20kneel before the Lord, remember,
- 21:21therefore, who it is you are speaking
- 21:23to. You are not uttering empty words in
- 21:27an attempt to change destiny. You are
- 21:30addressing the living God who knows
- 21:32your heart and sees even what you
- 21:34cannot yet understand. You can speak to
- 21:37Him with sincerity, express your fear,
- 21:39confess your doubts, and ask for His
- 21:41help without pretending to be strong.
- 21:44Elijah teaches us that true trust is
- 21:46not born from the certainty of
- 21:48obtaining exactly what we desire, but
- 21:50from the awareness that God deserves
- 21:52our faith even when we do not know the
- 21:54end of the story. Prayer changes our
- 21:57way of standing before difficulties
- 21:59because it reminds us that we are not
- 22:01called to face them only with our own
- 22:04strength. What if the Lord were
- 22:06inviting you right now to move from
- 22:09fear to trust, not because you already
- 22:11know the answer, but so that you learn
- 22:13to recognize His presence even in
- 22:15uncertainty? Elijah's story leads us
- 22:18toward an even deeper question: what
- 22:20happens when the answer is slow to
- 22:22arrive and faith must learn to
- 22:24persevere? without yet seeing what one
- 22:27hopes for. The prayer that perseveres
- 22:31when you still do not see God's answer.
- 22:35There are moments when praying seems
- 22:38easy, the heart is full of hope, words
- 22:40come spontaneously, and you can clearly
- 22:43imagine what you are asking of the Lord
- 22:45. But there are also completely
- 22:48different periods in which every prayer
- 22:50seems to collide with silence. Each day
- 22:53brings with it the same worries, and
- 22:55the answer you desire continues not to
- 22:58arrive. It is in these moments that
- 23:00faith is put to the test deeply,
- 23:02because you can no longer rely only on
- 23:05what you feel or what you are able to
- 23:07see. You must learn to remain before
- 23:09God even when your heart is tired.
- 23:12Jesus knew this human difficulty well.
- 23:15For this reason, in the Gospel
- 23:17according to Luke in chapter 18, he
- 23:19told the parable of the persistent
- 23:21widow and the unjust judge. A woman
- 23:25deprived of the protection she needed
- 23:27kept turning to a judge so that justice
- 23:29might be done for her. That judge was
- 23:33not a man particularly sensitive to the
- 23:35suffering of others, yet the widow's
- 23:37perseverance moved him to listen to her
- 23:40. Jesus used this story to teach his
- 23:43disciples the necessity of praying
- 23:44always, without becoming discouraged.
- 23:47The meaning of this parable is still
- 23:49relevant today. Jesus was not saying
- 23:52that God is like an indifferent judge
- 23:54whom you must convince by repeating
- 23:56your requests. On the contrary, through
- 24:00the contrast between the unjust judge
- 24:02and the heavenly Father, he invites us
- 24:03to understand how much we can trust in
- 24:05God's goodness. If even a judge
- 24:09incapable of compassion can eventually
- 24:11grant justice, how much more does the
- 24:13Lord hear the cry of his children. Yet,
- 24:17perhaps you are wondering if God is
- 24:18listening, because why do some answers
- 24:20seem to take so long? Why do you keep
- 24:24praying for someone you love without
- 24:26seeing any change? Why do you ask for a
- 24:29solution and find yourself still facing
- 24:31the same problem? These are sincere
- 24:34questions that should not be hidden for
- 24:35fear of appearing to have little faith.
- 24:39Even in the Bible, we meet men and
- 24:41women who went through periods of
- 24:42waiting, pain, and misunderstanding.
- 24:45Christian perseverance does not consist
- 24:48of mechanically repeating the same
- 24:50words, as if the number of prayers
- 24:52could force God to intervene. It
- 24:55consists of returning to him with
- 24:57confidence, renewing every day the
- 24:58relationship that unites us to his love
- 25:00. You may ask for the same grace many
- 25:04times, but you can also learn through
- 25:06that same prayer to recognize your
- 25:08fears, purify your intentions, and find
- 25:11the strength to do what is within your
- 25:14power. Think of a person going through
- 25:17a long night; they cannot command the
- 25:19sun to rise ahead of time, but they can
- 25:21keep walking, knowing that the darkness
- 25:24will not last forever. In the same way,
- 25:27when you go through a trial, you cannot
- 25:29always speed up events or control the
- 25:32decisions of others. You can, however,
- 25:35choose not to let disappointment
- 25:36completely destroy your hope. You can
- 25:40continue to pray, seek counsel, act
- 25:42responsibly, and entrust to the Lord
- 25:44what exceeds your capabilities. This is
- 25:47one of the deepest aspects of prayer.
- 25:51While you ask God to intervene in your
- 25:53situation, also allow his word to
- 25:55transform the way you face that
- 25:57situation. A sincere prayer can help
- 26:00you recognize a mistake, find the
- 26:02courage to ask for forgiveness, make a
- 26:05necessary decision, or accept help you
- 26:07previously refused out of pride. Grace
- 26:10does not automatically eliminate every
- 26:13difficulty, but it can support you on
- 26:15the journey through which you learn to
- 26:17face it. Do not interpret every delay
- 26:20as a refusal, and do not consider every
- 26:23obstacle proof that your faith is
- 26:26insufficient. We cannot always know the
- 26:29reasons why a request does not receive
- 26:31the desired answer, and it would be
- 26:34unfair to promise you that if you pray
- 26:36enough, every situation will resolve
- 26:38exactly as you hope. Faith is not a
- 26:41guarantee of control over the future;
- 26:43it is entrusting yourself to the Lord
- 26:45even when the future remains uncertain.
- 26:48Perhaps today you need to stop
- 26:50measuring your spiritual life solely by
- 26:52the results you manage to achieve.
- 26:55Perhaps you need to remember that your
- 26:57value before God does not increase when
- 26:59you receive what you ask for, and it
- 27:00does not decrease when you still have
- 27:02to wait. You are not forgotten because
- 27:05you are going through a trial, and you
- 27:07do not have to pretend to be at peace
- 27:09when you feel pain inside. You can
- 27:11present yourself before the Father
- 27:13exactly as you are, with a faith that
- 27:16is still fragile, yet eager not to
- 27:18abandon Him. Perseverance often begins
- 27:20with a very simple prayer. Lord, I do
- 27:23not know when this situation will
- 27:25change, but help me not to distance
- 27:27myself from You. Give me the wisdom to
- 27:30do what I must do, the patience to face
- 27:33what I cannot change, and the trust
- 27:35necessary to keep walking. And when you
- 27:39learn to pray this way, you discover
- 27:41that prayer is not just the moment you
- 27:43ask God for something; it is also the
- 27:45space where your heart finds direction
- 27:47again. Your conscience is illuminated
- 27:50by the truth, and your hope is
- 27:52nourished by the promise of His love.
- 27:54But there is another aspect that you
- 27:56cannot ignore. Prayer is not meant to
- 27:59remain confined to the moments when you
- 28:01are alone, in silence, before the Lord.
- 28:05If your relationship with God is
- 28:07authentic, sooner or later it will also
- 28:09begin to manifest in your choices, your
- 28:11words, and the way you treat the people
- 28:13you meet. And it is precisely here that
- 28:16you will discover another essential
- 28:18dimension of prayer: its ability to
- 28:20transform not only what you ask for,
- 28:22but also the way you live. When prayer
- 28:27transforms your heart, your actions
- 28:29change as well. There is a truth about
- 28:33prayer that we risk forgetting when we
- 28:36are focused only on the answers we wish
- 28:38to receive. We cannot ask God to change
- 28:42our lives and at the same time refuse
- 28:44to let Him change our hearts. We often
- 28:48turn to the Lord asking that a person
- 28:50become different, that a situation be
- 28:53resolved, or that a door finally open,
- 28:55but are we equally willing to allow Him
- 28:58to show us what needs to be transformed
- 29:00within us? This question is not meant
- 29:03to make you feel guilty, nor does it
- 29:05mean that every difficulty is caused by
- 29:07a mistake of yours. There are
- 29:09sufferings you did not choose,
- 29:11injustices you do not deserve, and
- 29:13situations that do not depend on your
- 29:15decisions. However, even when you
- 29:18cannot control what happens around you,
- 29:20you can ask the Lord to guide how you
- 29:23react. You choose and face what you are
- 29:25experiencing. This is where prayer
- 29:28begins to become a concrete force in
- 29:30your daily life. In his letter to the
- 29:33Romans, Saint Paul invites believers to
- 29:35be transformed by the renewal of their
- 29:38minds, to learn to discern the will of
- 29:40God. This teaching helps us understand
- 29:43that spiritual life does not consist
- 29:46only of seeking comfort in difficult
- 29:48times, but also of allowing the truth
- 29:50of the Gospel to illuminate our way of
- 29:52thinking. Praying also means presenting
- 29:57to the Lord our judgments, our habits,
- 29:59our impulsive reactions, and those
- 30:01fears that, without our noticing, end
- 30:03up guiding our choices. Think about
- 30:07what happens when someone hurts you
- 30:09deeply. The first reaction might be to
- 30:12respond with anger, to close yourself
- 30:14in resentment, or to wish that the
- 30:17other person feels the same pain you
- 30:19felt. But if you bring that wound into
- 30:22prayer, you can begin to look at it in
- 30:24the light of Jesus 'words as well. It
- 30:27does not mean pretending that the harm
- 30:29did not happen, nor allowing someone to
- 30:31continue hurting you. It means asking
- 30:34for the grace not to become a prisoner
- 30:36of hatred and to find the wisdom
- 30:37necessary to act without letting
- 30:39yourself be dominated by revenge.
- 30:42Christian forgiveness, in fact, does
- 30:44not automatically erase pain and does
- 30:46not eliminate the need to set
- 30:48boundaries when a relationship is
- 30:50harmful. It is a journey that may
- 30:53require time, guidance, and courageous
- 30:55choices. Prayer can support you on this
- 30:58path, helping you distinguish between
- 31:00the desire to heal and the temptation
- 31:03to return the harm received. In this
- 31:06way, your faith does not remain just an
- 31:08interior conviction, but becomes a
- 31:10concrete testimony of the love you have
- 31:12received from God. The same principle
- 31:15applies when you ask the Lord to guide
- 31:18you in an important decision. You can
- 31:20pray to find work, to improve your
- 31:23financial situation, to receive an
- 31:25answer, or to understand which path to
- 31:28take. But after praying, it might be
- 31:31necessary to update your resume, seek
- 31:34reliable advice, study a possibility
- 31:36you had not considered, or recognize
- 31:39that a choice requires greater prudence
- 31:42. Prayer does not replace personal
- 31:45responsibility; it can help you live it
- 31:47with greater clarity, humility, and
- 31:49trust. Jesus also teaches us in the
- 31:52Gospel according to Matthew that it is
- 31:54not enough to simply call him Lord,
- 31:56Lord, if we then refuse to put the
- 31:58Father's will into practice. His words
- 32:02remind us that authentic faith must
- 32:04involve our entire existence. It is not
- 32:07enough to ask for peace if we
- 32:09continuously fuel avoidable conflicts.
- 32:11It is not enough to ask for wisdom if
- 32:13we refuse all advice. It is not enough
- 32:16to pray for our family if we are not
- 32:18willing to listen, to apologize, or to
- 32:20dedicate time to the people we love.
- 32:23This does not mean you have to become
- 32:26perfect before you pray. On the
- 32:28contrary, it is precisely because you
- 32:30are fragile that you need to turn to
- 32:32the Lord. You do not have to present
- 32:34yourself before him with a life already
- 32:36sorted out, but with a heart willing to
- 32:38be guided. Each day you can start over,
- 32:41acknowledge a mistake, and ask for the
- 32:44grace to take a different step than the
- 32:46day before. Perhaps you have prayed
- 32:48many times to receive an answer, but
- 32:50you have never really asked. Lord, what
- 32:53do you want to teach me through this
- 32:55situation? Is there something in my
- 32:58behavior that I need to correct? What
- 33:00concrete choice can I make today to
- 33:02live according to your Gospel? These
- 33:05questions do not guarantee that every
- 33:08problem will be solved immediately, but
- 33:10they can open you to deeper discernment
- 33:12and help you recognize the
- 33:14responsibilities that are yours.
- 33:17Remember, prayer is not a way to bend
- 33:19God's will to your desires. It is an
- 33:22encounter in which you learn to bring
- 33:24everything you are before him, letting
- 33:26yourself be enlightened by his word and
- 33:28sustained by his grace. Little by
- 33:31little, what once only sparked fear can
- 33:33become an opportunity to exercise trust
- 33:36. What fueled resentment can become a
- 33:40path toward inner freedom. What seemed
- 33:43confusing can be faced with greater
- 33:45discernment. And perhaps the deepest
- 33:48sign of the effectiveness of your
- 33:50prayer will not always be a door
- 33:52opening before you, but the fact that
- 33:54as you walk through a door still closed
- 33:56, you learn not to lose your identity
- 33:58as a child loved by God. But how can
- 34:02you nurture this transformation when
- 34:03the day is full of commitments, the
- 34:05mind is distracted, and silence seems
- 34:07impossible to find? There is a simple
- 34:11and concrete way to bring the Lord back
- 34:13to the center of your day without
- 34:15waiting for perfect conditions to
- 34:17arrive. And it is precisely from this
- 34:20possibility that the next step of our
- 34:22spiritual journey arises. Prayer does
- 34:26not just change circumstances; it
- 34:28transforms your heart. There is one
- 34:32thing you might not have fully
- 34:34understood about the power of prayer:
- 34:36as you ask God to intervene in your
- 34:38life, something can begin to change
- 34:40even in how you perceive what you are
- 34:42going through. The situation might not
- 34:46be resolved yet. The answer might not
- 34:49have arrived and difficulties might
- 34:51continue to arise. Yet, within you can
- 34:54be born a new ability to face all of
- 34:57this without letting yourself be
- 34:59completely dominated by fear. Not
- 35:02because you have become invulnerable,
- 35:04but because you are learning not to
- 35:05carry every burden only on your own
- 35:07shoulders. Think about how many times
- 35:10you have faced a problem feeling
- 35:12obligated to find a solution
- 35:13immediately. The mind races from one
- 35:16possibility to another. You imagine
- 35:19what could go wrong and try to control
- 35:21every detail to avoid suffering. In
- 35:24those moments, even rest becomes
- 35:26difficult because the body stops while
- 35:29the thoughts keep working. Prayer can
- 35:32become a space in which to interrupt
- 35:35this inner race, not to escape reality,
- 35:37but to return to face it with greater
- 35:39trust and clarity. When you present
- 35:43your worries to the Lord, you recognize
- 35:45that there are responsibilities that
- 35:47belong to you and situations you cannot
- 35:50fully control. In chapter 4 of his
- 35:53letter to the Philippians, Saint Paul
- 35:55invites believers not to be overwhelmed
- 35:58by anxiety, but to present their
- 36:00requests to God through prayer and
- 36:02supplication, accompanied by
- 36:04thanksgiving. The apostle adds that the
- 36:07peace of God will guard their hearts
- 36:09and minds in Christ Jesus. This promise
- 36:13does not mean that those who pray will
- 36:15never again feel fear or sadness; it
- 36:17means that even in the midst of worries
- 36:19, you can learn to turn to God, instead
- 36:21of letting every thought become a
- 36:23condemnation or an inevitable
- 36:24prediction of the future. The peace
- 36:28Saint Paul speaks of is not a simple
- 36:30pleasant emotion, nor a way to convince
- 36:32yourself that everything will
- 36:33necessarily go according to your
- 36:35desires. It is a peace that is born
- 36:38from the relationship with Christ and
- 36:40can sustain you even when you do not
- 36:41have all the answers. You can be
- 36:44worried and continue to pray. You can
- 36:47go through a painful period and
- 36:49continue to hope. You can even confess
- 36:52to the Lord that your faith is weak
- 36:54without having to hide your fragility
- 36:56behind words that do not match what you
- 36:58feel. This is important because
- 37:01sometimes we wrongly think that praying
- 37:04well means having no doubts. In reality
- 37:07, sincere prayer does not require you
- 37:09to feign a certainty you do not yet
- 37:11possess. It requires, rather, the
- 37:13courage to present yourself before God
- 37:16with an open heart, letting His word
- 37:18illuminate even the areas of your life
- 37:20that you would prefer to avoid. You do
- 37:22not have to wait until you feel strong
- 37:24to pray. You can pray precisely because
- 37:27you are tired, because you are afraid,
- 37:28or because you do not know which step
- 37:30to take. There is also another gift
- 37:33that can mature through this daily
- 37:35encounter: the ability to recognize
- 37:37what truly deserves your attention.
- 37:40When worry occupies every space in your
- 37:43mind, you risk forgetting the people
- 37:45beside you, the opportunities for good
- 37:47that still exist, and the small
- 37:49responsibilities you can face today.
- 37:52Prayer does not automatically erase
- 37:54problems, but it can help you not to
- 37:57let them become the only reality you
- 37:59can see. It invites you to lift your
- 38:01gaze and remember that your life is
- 38:03greater than the difficulty you are
- 38:05going through. Imagine standing before
- 38:08a road shrouded in fog. You would like
- 38:11to see the whole path before taking a
- 38:13step, but that is not always possible.
- 38:16Sometimes you can only make out what is
- 38:18immediately in front of you. Faith
- 38:21teaches you that you do not need to
- 38:23know every detail of the future to
- 38:25responsibly take the step that is
- 38:27before you. You can ask the Lord for
- 38:30the light needed for today's decision,
- 38:32without expecting to receive all the
- 38:34answers for tomorrow in advance. For
- 38:37this reason, when you pray, try not to
- 38:40ask only," Lord, when will this
- 38:42difficulty end? "You can add:" Lord,
- 38:45help me to understand how to get
- 38:48through it. Show me what I can do, give
- 38:51me the courage to face what I fear, and
- 38:53teach me to recognize the good that
- 38:55still surrounds me. "These are simple
- 38:59words, but they can help you experience
- 39:01prayer not as passive waiting, but as
- 39:03an encounter that guides your choices
- 39:05and sustains your hope. Remember,
- 39:09however, that interior transformation
- 39:11does not always happen quickly and does
- 39:13not depend solely on your willpower. It
- 39:16is a journey in which God's grace
- 39:19accompanies you, as you learn day by
- 39:21day to trust, to discern, and to act
- 39:23with love. If you still feel restless
- 39:26today, do not conclude that your prayer
- 39:28is useless. Continue to seek the Lord,
- 39:32entrust yourself to his word, and when
- 39:34you need it, also welcome the support
- 39:36of trusted and competent people. Prayer
- 39:39does not promise you a life without
- 39:41storms. It reminds you, rather, that
- 39:44you are not forced to go through them
- 39:46forgetting the presence of God. And
- 39:49when your heart begins to find a firm
- 39:51point in him, a decisive question
- 39:53arises. How can you carry this trust
- 39:56beyond moments of reflection so that it
- 39:59does not remain just an experience
- 40:01lived in solitude, but becomes a
- 40:03concrete presence in your relationships
- 40:05and in the way you face each new day?
- 40:10Bring God to the center of your life.
- 40:12Even in the simplest gestures. Prayer
- 40:16is not just the moment when you kneel,
- 40:18close your eyes, and present your
- 40:20requests to the Lord. It is also the
- 40:23way you choose to live each day,
- 40:25remembering that God does not wish to
- 40:27be present only in moments of
- 40:29difficulty, but in every step of your
- 40:31journey. Sometimes we think we have to
- 40:34wait for a special moment to approach
- 40:37him, as if it were necessary to find
- 40:39the perfect words, the ideal place, or
- 40:41a condition of absolute tranquility.
- 40:44Yet the Lord invites you to seek him
- 40:46right in the life you are living now,
- 40:49with its responsibilities, its worries,
- 40:52its joys, and even its little
- 40:54disappointments. Think of how many
- 40:56times you start the day already worried
- 40:58about what you will have to face. The
- 41:00mind rushes to your commitments. to the
- 41:03decisions to be made, the people to
- 41:05meet, and the problems that seem to
- 41:07wait for you around every corner. Even
- 41:10before getting out of bed, you might
- 41:12feel overwhelmed by everything you have
- 41:14to do. But what would change if, before
- 41:17making room for these thoughts, you
- 41:19dedicated even just a few moments to
- 41:22the Lord? Not to ask Him immediately to
- 41:25solve every problem, but to acknowledge
- 41:27His presence and entrust to Him the day
- 41:29that is beginning. You could pray with
- 41:32simple words. Lord, I do not know
- 41:35everything that awaits me today, but I
- 41:37know that I can trust in You. Guide me
- 41:40in my decisions, guard my heart, and
- 41:42teach me to live this day with faith,
- 41:45patience, and love. It is not elaborate
- 41:48words that make a prayer authentic. It
- 41:51is the heart that opens sincerely to
- 41:54God, recognizing its need for Him.
- 41:57Jesus Himself, during His earthly life,
- 41:59sought moments of communion with the
- 42:01Father. The Gospels show us that He
- 42:04would withdraw to solitary places to
- 42:06pray, even when crowds sought Him and
- 42:09needs were many. This teaches us an
- 42:12important truth. If even Jesus
- 42:14dedicated time to prayer, how much more
- 42:16do we need to stop, listen, and find in
- 42:19the Father the strength to continue the
- 42:21journey. But keeping God at the center
- 42:24of your life also means remembering Him
- 42:27when you are at work, when you must
- 42:29make a difficult decision, when someone
- 42:32tests your patience, or when a
- 42:34situation does not go according to your
- 42:37wishes. You can transform those moments
- 42:39into opportunities for prayer. Before
- 42:41responding in anger, ask the Lord for
- 42:44the ability to choose words that do not
- 42:46wound. Before making an important
- 42:49decision, ask Him for wisdom to
- 42:51distinguish what is right from what is
- 42:53merely convenient. When you feel your
- 42:56strength waning, stop interiorly and
- 42:58remember that you do not have to face
- 43:00every burden by relying only on your
- 43:02own capabilities. This does not mean
- 43:05that every problem will disappear or
- 43:07that every decision will immediately
- 43:09produce the hoped-for result. The
- 43:11Christian faith is not a promise of a
- 43:13life without difficulties. It is the
- 43:16certainty that we can go through
- 43:17difficulties without losing the
- 43:19fundamental reference point of our
- 43:21existence. God who loves us and invites
- 43:24us to trust in His providence.
- 43:26Sometimes the answer to prayer will be
- 43:29a door that opens; other times it will
- 43:31be the strength needed to accept a
- 43:33closed door, the patience to wait, or
- 43:35the courage to change direction. In the
- 43:38Gospel according to Matthew, Jesus
- 43:40invites us to seek first the kingdom of
- 43:42God and His righteousness. This
- 43:45teaching helps us put everything into
- 43:47the right perspective. When God
- 43:50occupies the first place, it does not
- 43:52mean that we neglect our family, work,
- 43:54or daily responsibilities. It means, on
- 43:57the contrary, that we learn to face
- 44:00them with a conscience enlightened by
- 44:02faith, seeking to act with honesty,
- 44:05mercy, and righteousness. Perhaps you
- 44:08cannot dedicate many hours to prayer
- 44:10each day, but you can start with small,
- 44:12faithful gestures: thank the Lord upon
- 44:15waking, read a few verses of Holy
- 44:17Scripture. Turn a thought toward Him
- 44:20during a break, pray before sleeping,
- 44:22and entrust to Him what you cannot
- 44:24understand. Even a simple" Jesus, I
- 44:27trust in You, "spoken with sincerity in
- 44:29the middle of a difficult day, can help
- 44:32you remember to whom your hope belongs.
- 44:35Do not underestimate these moments. A
- 44:38relationship grows through presence,
- 44:41trust, and faithfulness, not just
- 44:43through great occasions. The more you
- 44:46learn to seek God in everyday life, the
- 44:48more prayer stops being an isolated
- 44:50gesture and becomes an attitude of the
- 44:52heart. You will not pray only when you
- 44:55are afraid, but also when you are
- 44:56grateful. You will not seek the Lord
- 44:59only when you need something, but also
- 45:01to thank Him for what He already gives
- 45:04you. And when days come when it seems
- 45:07you cannot pray as you would like, do
- 45:09not be discouraged; return to Him with
- 45:12simplicity. Your spiritual journey does
- 45:15not require immediate perfection, but a
- 45:17heart willing to begin again. God knows
- 45:20your weaknesses and knows how easy it
- 45:22is to let yourself be absorbed by
- 45:24worries. Precisely for this reason,
- 45:26every new day can become an opportunity
- 45:29to reestablish your communion with Him.
- 45:32Remember: prayer does not serve to
- 45:34convince God to take an interest in
- 45:36your life; it helps you recognize that
- 45:38He is already present and that you can
- 45:40learn to rely on His wisdom even when
- 45:42you do not understand what is happening
- 45:44. When you bring Him to the center of
- 45:47your days, even the most ordinary
- 45:49actions can become opportunities to
- 45:51love, serve, and bear witness to your
- 45:53faith. When you do not see answers,
- 45:57continue to trust in the faithfulness
- 45:59of God. There are moments in life when
- 46:03praying becomes more difficult,
- 46:05precisely because it seems that nothing
- 46:07is changing. You have asked the Lord to
- 46:09intervene, you have entrusted your
- 46:11fears to Him, you have asked for an
- 46:14answer, and despite everything, the
- 46:16situation seems to remain identical.
- 46:18Days pass, perhaps months, and inside
- 46:20you a question arises that you do not
- 46:22have the courage to express out loud.
- 46:25Lord, are You really listening to me?
- 46:28If you have lived this experience, know
- 46:30that you are not alone. Even in the
- 46:33history of salvation, we find men and
- 46:35women who went through periods of
- 46:37waiting, uncertainty, and suffering.
- 46:40Their experience reminds us that faith
- 46:42does not consist in always seeing what
- 46:44we desire, but in learning to remain
- 46:47tied to God, even when we cannot
- 46:48understand what is happening. Think of
- 46:51Abraham. God had promised him
- 46:53descendants. But the fulfillment of
- 46:56that promise did not arrive immediately
- 46:58. His story was marked by waiting, and
- 47:01the time spent without seeing what he
- 47:03hoped for realized could have fueled
- 47:05doubt in his heart. Yet, the story of
- 47:09Abraham teaches us that God’s promise
- 47:12must not be measured solely by our own
- 47:14timing and expectations. His faith was
- 47:17not a path free of uncertainty, but a
- 47:19relationship with the Lord that also
- 47:22went through difficult moments. This is
- 47:24a precious teaching for you. When you
- 47:27pray for someone you love, for a
- 47:30complicated family situation, for a
- 47:32necessary change, or for a door you
- 47:35wish to see opened, you might be
- 47:37tempted to interpret every delay as a
- 47:39refusal. But the absence of an
- 47:42immediate answer does not always mean
- 47:44that your prayer is useless. Sometimes
- 47:47we do not yet know all the
- 47:49circumstances, the consequences of our
- 47:51choices, or the possibilities that
- 47:53might arise along the way. For this
- 47:57reason, we need to ask the Lord not
- 47:58only to change the situation, but also
- 48:00to grant us the wisdom needed to go
- 48:02through it. In Psalm 27, we find an
- 48:05invitation that resonates with
- 48:07particular strength during periods of
- 48:09waiting. Hope in the Lord, be strong,
- 48:12and let your heart find courage. It is
- 48:15not an invitation to pretend to be
- 48:17invincible or to hide pain behind
- 48:19religious words. It is a call not to
- 48:22allow fear to become the only voice
- 48:24capable of guiding our thoughts. You
- 48:27can feel tired and continue to have
- 48:29faith. You can cry and continue to pray
- 48:32. You can not know what the next step
- 48:35will be and, at the same time, ask God
- 48:37for the light needed to take it. Also,
- 48:40remember that Christian prayer is not a
- 48:42formula with which to force God to
- 48:45fulfill our desires. It is not a
- 48:47technique to automatically obtain
- 48:49everything we ask for, nor a guarantee
- 48:51that all suffering will disappear.
- 48:54Jesus himself in Gethsemane prayed to
- 48:56the Father in the moment of his deepest
- 48:58anguish, entrusting himself to His will
- 49:01. In that hour, we see that authentic
- 49:04prayer can contain pain, fear, and
- 49:06trusting surrender. Jesus did not hide
- 49:09his own suffering, but brought it
- 49:11before the Father. You, too, can pray
- 49:13with sincerity. Lord, this is what I
- 49:16desire, and this is what makes me
- 49:18suffer. You know my heart better than I
- 49:21am able to know it myself. I ask you to
- 49:24intervene, but also help me to
- 49:26recognize your will. If I must wait,
- 49:29sustain me. If I must change my path,
- 49:32guide me. If I must face a trial, do
- 49:35not let me lose hope. This prayer is
- 49:38not born of resignation, but of trust.
- 49:42It means continuing to present our
- 49:44needs to God without turning the
- 49:46desired result into the sole measure of
- 49:48His goodness. The Lord does not cease
- 49:51to be worthy of our trust when life
- 49:54does not follow our plans. His presence
- 49:57is not measured only by what we obtain,
- 50:00but also by the possibility of finding
- 50:02comfort in his word, support in the
- 50:05Christian community, wisdom to make
- 50:07decisions, and courage to face what we
- 50:10cannot avoid. Naturally, trusting in
- 50:13God does not mean remaining passive in
- 50:15the face of difficulties. If you are
- 50:18going through a problem, prayer can
- 50:20help you find the strength to seek
- 50:22advice, look for adequate help, correct
- 50:25a mistake, or take a step you have put
- 50:27off out of fear. Praying and acting are
- 50:30not two opposite realities. Faith can
- 50:33become the foundation for responsible
- 50:36choices made with love and discernment.
- 50:39Ask the Lord to illuminate your path,
- 50:41but also be willing to listen, learn,
- 50:44and do your part. Perhaps today you are
- 50:47waiting for an answer that seems not to
- 50:49come. Perhaps you have prayed many
- 50:52times for the same situation and feel
- 50:53that your strength is running out. You
- 50:56do not have to be ashamed of your
- 50:58weariness. Bring this feeling before
- 51:01God as well, without trying to appear
- 51:02stronger than you are. The most sincere
- 51:06prayer is sometimes a simple invocation
- 51:09. Lord, help me not to lose hope. And
- 51:13when you cannot find words, you can
- 51:15remain in silence before him. Not every
- 51:18moment of prayer must be filled with
- 51:20phrases. There are silences of rest,
- 51:23listen to the word and prepare to
- 51:26resume the journey. Do not
- 51:28automatically attribute every event to
- 51:30a particular sign, but ask the Lord to
- 51:33help you discern with prudence what you
- 51:35are living in light of the Gospel and
- 51:37the Church's teaching. Your waiting
- 51:40must not become a prison. Continue to
- 51:43live, to love, and to do the good you
- 51:46can do today. Do not postpone all joy
- 51:49until the problem is solved, nor let
- 51:51uncertainty prevent you from
- 51:53recognizing the blessings already
- 51:54present in your life. You can continue
- 51:58to hope for an answer and at the same
- 52:00time give thanks for the good you
- 52:02receive in the present. Faith does not
- 52:05ask you to know every answer in advance
- 52:07; it invites you to walk with God even
- 52:10when the path is not yet clear.
- 52:13Therefore, when it seems you do not see
- 52:15any change, do not hastily conclude
- 52:17that all is lost. Pray, seek wisdom, do
- 52:21the good that is possible, and entrust
- 52:23to the Lord what exceeds your abilities
- 52:26. You do not know how every situation
- 52:29will end, but you can choose not to
- 52:30face it only with fear. You can choose
- 52:34to return to the word of God, to ask
- 52:36for help when you need it, and to keep
- 52:38Christian hope in your heart. And while
- 52:41you wait, remember that your
- 52:43relationship with the Lord is worth
- 52:45more than any immediate result. Do not
- 52:48just seek an answer to your requests,
- 52:50but let prayer also transform the way
- 52:53you love, make decisions, and face life
- 52:55. Entrust everything to God. Your
- 53:00prayer can become the beginning of a
- 53:02new life. We have reached the end of
- 53:06this journey, but perhaps something new
- 53:08can begin right now in your
- 53:09relationship with God. After reflecting
- 53:13on the power of prayer, on trust, and
- 53:15on the strength that comes from relying
- 53:17on the Lord, I would like to invite you
- 53:19to pause for a few moments. Do not
- 53:22think about everything you still need
- 53:23to resolve. Do not let the worries of
- 53:26tomorrow completely occupy your heart.
- 53:29Grant yourself a moment of silence and
- 53:32ask yourself:" When I pray, do I truly
- 53:34turn to God with trust? Or do I let
- 53:36fear already decide what the outcome
- 53:39will be? "Perhaps you have prayed many
- 53:41times for a situation that continues to
- 53:43hurt you. Perhaps you have asked the
- 53:46Lord to show you a path, to protect
- 53:48your family, to give you the strength
- 53:50to start over, or to help you overcome
- 53:52an ordeal that seems to have no end.
- 53:55Whatever your situation, you do not
- 53:57need to hide from God what you carry in
- 53:59your heart. You can present to Him your
- 54:02hopes, your fragilities, and even the
- 54:04questions to which you still cannot
- 54:06find an answer. Remember, however, that
- 54:10prayer is not a way to control God or
- 54:12to automatically obtain everything we
- 54:15desire. It is an encounter with the
- 54:17Father who loves us and invites us to
- 54:19live in faith. To pray means to ask
- 54:21with trust, to listen with humility, to
- 54:24act with responsibility, and to learn
- 54:26to entrust to the Lord what we cannot
- 54:29control. Sometimes prayer helps us find
- 54:32a solution; other times it gives us the
- 54:34courage to face a difficult reality. It
- 54:37gives us the patience to wait or the
- 54:39clarity necessary to understand that we
- 54:41must change direction. Do not measure
- 54:44your faith solely by the answers you
- 54:46receive. Your relationship with God
- 54:49does not lose value when you go through
- 54:51a season of uncertainty. Even on days
- 54:53when you do not feel anything special,
- 54:55you can choose to remain faithful to
- 54:57prayer, nourish yourself with the Holy
- 54:59Scriptures, and try to live according
- 55:01to the Gospel. Faith does not depend
- 55:05exclusively on the emotions of the
- 55:07moment, but grows through an authentic
- 55:09relationship with the Lord, fueled by
- 55:11prayer, the sacraments, and charity.
- 55:14Now, if you can, collect yourself for a
- 55:17few moments, set aside every
- 55:18distraction, and join your heart to
- 55:21this prayer. It is not necessary to
- 55:24pronounce every word perfectly. The
- 55:26important thing is to pray with
- 55:28sincerity, recognizing your need for
- 55:30God and the desire to entrust yourself
- 55:32to His will. Let us pray together.
- 55:34Merciful Father, I present myself
- 55:37before you just as I am, with my hopes,
- 55:39my fears, and everything I carry in my
- 55:42heart. You know my worries, the battles
- 55:45I face in silence, and the questions I
- 55:48sometimes cannot even express. I do not
- 55:51want to hide my fragility from you,
- 55:53because I know I can turn to you with
- 55:55sincerity. Lord, teach me to pray with
- 55:58a trusting heart. Free me from the
- 56:01belief that I must control everything
- 56:03and help me recognize what depends on
- 56:05my choices and what I must entrust to
- 56:07your providence. Give me the wisdom to
- 56:10make right decisions, the courage to
- 56:13face difficulties, and the humility to
- 56:15ask for help when my own strength is
- 56:17not enough. I entrust to you my family,
- 56:21the people I love, my work, my plans,
- 56:23and all the situations that cause me
- 56:25suffering. I also present to you my
- 56:28uncertainties and my expectations. If a
- 56:30path is good and in accordance with
- 56:32your will, help me to follow it with
- 56:34perseverance. If I must change
- 56:37direction, enlighten me so that I may
- 56:39recognize the right path. When I do not
- 56:42understand what is happening, guard my
- 56:44faith and keep me from losing hope.
- 56:48Jesus, teach me to trust in you without
- 56:50demanding to know every answer in
- 56:52advance. Let my prayer be not just a
- 56:55request for help, but also a moment of
- 56:58listening, gratitude, and conversion.
- 57:01Make me capable of loving those around
- 57:04me, of forgiving when it is difficult,
- 57:06of acting with justice, and of
- 57:08recognizing opportunities to do good.
- 57:11Holy Spirit, enlighten my mind and
- 57:13sustain my heart. Help me to
- 57:16distinguish what draws me closer to God
- 57:17from what leads me away from him. When
- 57:20fear becomes stronger than hope, remind
- 57:23me of the promises of God's word. When
- 57:26I feel alone, help me to seek communion
- 57:28with those who can support me in the
- 57:30faith. When I lack the courage to start
- 57:33again, give me the strength to take the
- 57:35next step. Father, I do not ask for a
- 57:38life without trials, but for a heart
- 57:40capable of enduring them without
- 57:42forgetting your love. I entrust to you
- 57:44what I understand and what I still
- 57:46cannot understand. Grant that every day
- 57:49I may seek you sincerely, live
- 57:51according to the Gospel, and recognize
- 57:53your presence even in small things. In
- 57:56the name of the Father, and of the Son,
- 57:58and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. If you
- 58:01have prayed sincerely, carry these
- 58:03words with you even after this video
- 58:05has ended. Do not let prayer remain
- 58:09only an emotional moment. Transform it
- 58:12into a daily habit, a choice of trust,
- 58:14and a concrete commitment to love God
- 58:17and your neighbor. Start with what you
- 58:19can do today. Dedicate a few minutes to
- 58:22the Lord, read a passage from the
- 58:24Gospel, thank him for a gift received,
- 58:27and ask him to guide your decisions.
- 58:30And if this message has helped you find
- 58:32hope again, write in the comments:"
- 58:34Lord, I entrust myself to you and trust
- 58:36in your will. "not as a magic formula,
- 58:39but as a sincere expression of your
- 58:42faith. If you wish, you can also share
- 58:45a prayer request, remembering not to
- 58:48include personal information you prefer
- 58:50to keep private. We will pray for one
- 58:54another so that no one has to feel
- 58:56alone on their spiritual journey. If
- 58:59you haven't subscribed to the channel

- 59:04together on the word of God and
- 59:05deepening the beauty of the Catholic
- 59:07faith. Share this video with someone
- 59:10who is going through a difficult time.
- 59:13Sometimes a message of hope can help us
- 59:16remember that we do not have to face
- 59:18every trial relying only on our own
- 59:20strength. Thank you for dedicating this
- 59:23time to prayer and reflection. May the
- 59:26Lord bless you, your family, and all
- 59:28the people you carry in your heart. May
- 59:31He grant you peace on difficult days,
- 59:33discernment in important decisions, and
- 59:36perseverance when the path seems long.
- 59:39Do not forget, praying does not mean
- 59:41having control over what will happen,
- 59:43it means learning to live every day
- 59:45with God, entrusting your heart to Him
- 59:48and seeking to fulfill His will. May
- 59:51your faith grow, may your hope remain
- 59:53alive, and may your love become a
- 59:55concrete testimony of the presence of
- 59:57Christ. Peace and all good. May God
- 1:00:00accompany you and bless you always.
