- 1:06further delay, let's straight away get
- 1:08right into the PTE speaking 20 cheat
- 1:10codes. Here we start. The first cheat
- 1:12code that I'm revealing in this video is
- 1:13about PTE read aloud. Remember, it is
- 1:15still a dummy module, not a very very
- 1:17important one. Four or five questions
- 1:19may appear for PTE Academic, hardly four
- 1:21or five marks, not more than that. Don't
- 1:23have to speak one line, that line, this
- 1:25line, no. Just speak. If at all you
- 1:26encounter a difficult word, you can just
- 1:28skip them. 100%
- 1:30This works. This gets you your full
- 1:32scores, meaning whatever the score that
- 1:33is reserved for PTE read aloud, you're
- 1:35going to get that even if you skip few
- 1:36of the difficult words. How many words
- 1:38can I skip? How many words you want to
- 1:39skip, you skip. Don't skip all the
- 1:41words. Four to five or five to six is
- 1:43definitely fine. Skip the words and keep
- 1:44continuing if at all you encounter a
- 1:45difficult word. Read aloud is not a
- 1:47priority. Just keep speaking. You get
- 1:50your scores. The second cheat code is
- 1:51PTE repeat sentence. Minimum 50%. I
- 1:53repeat, minimum 50% content should
- 1:55exactly match. You cannot alter the
- 1:57words. If the word there is developed
- 2:00and you say developing, you don't get
- 2:01your scores. Every word that you speak,
- 2:0350% exactly should match. And if 50% of
- 2:06the words match, you get full scores
- 2:07from repeat sentence towards your
- 2:08speaking and listening. If there are 10
- 2:10words, you speak exact five words that
- 2:12matches the audio, you're going to get
- 2:13your scores. Even if you match 10 words
- 2:15or five words, it is not going to make
- 2:17much difference. Remember this. The
- 2:19third cheat code is order in the PTE
- 2:21repeat sentence doesn't make a
- 2:23difference. For a 10-word audio, let's
- 2:24say you started from eighth word, ninth
- 2:26word, 10th word. And then you started
- 2:29with first, second, third, fourth,
- 2:30fifth, sixth. Will this give me scores?
- 2:31100% it gives you. Doesn't matter at all
- 2:34as to in which order you speak. Meaning
- 2:37if first three words are difficult for
- 2:39you, you can just skip them and speak
- 2:41the rest. Ordering of the words is not
- 2:42going to make any difference. You can
- 2:43speak in any order. You can speak any
- 2:45word. If that word is present in the
- 2:47audio, you're going to get your scores.
- 2:48It need not be in the same order, in the
- 2:51same position. 100% verified. Remember
- 2:54this. The fourth cheat code is again
- 2:55with respect to PTE repeat sentence. Do
- 2:57not write down the first letter or every
- 3:00word using a pen and a book. This will
- 3:02affect your fluency because the moment
- 3:03you start writing down, you'll have to
- 3:05look into it and speak. And while
- 3:06speaking, if you're unsure about a
- 3:08particular word, definitely that would
- 3:09be a break in your flow. And if your
- 3:11flow of speech is obstructed, you don't
- 3:14get your scores. It's a fluency five,
- 3:15content three, pronunciation five.
- 3:17Fluency is prioritized. Don't do
- 3:19something that affects your fluency.
- 3:21Listen less, speak less. Even if you
- 3:23speak 50-60%, you're going to get your
- 3:24scores. Then why to listen to the entire
- 3:26audio? If it's a 10-word audio, you
- 3:28listen to first seven to eight words and
- 3:29speak first seven to eight words. Or
- 3:31listen to any seven to eight words and
- 3:32speak the seven to eight words back.
- 3:34There's no necessity of taking down the
- 3:35words in a piece of paper, writing down
- 3:37the first letter, and then tracing it
- 3:39back as to what it was. All this will
- 3:40definitely affect the flow of speech.
- 3:43Remember this. The fifth cheat code is
- 3:44with respect to your pitch. If your
- 3:46voice is very thick, be it a male
- 3:48candidate or a female candidate, it does
- 3:49not differentiate. If your voice for a
- 3:52male candidate is less than 140, 120, 90
- 3:54hertz, 110 hertz, you will have to
- 3:56consider thinning your tone at all.
- 3:58Meaning at least 140 to 150 it has to
- 4:00come. If you're a female candidate, it
- 4:01should be 200 and above, preferably 220,
- 4:04230. If you're not well within this
- 4:05range, again marks will go down. You can
- 4:07use our portal skills pte with nakul.com
- 4:09or our mobile application skills pte
- 4:11academic practice any question enable
- 4:13the Noa engine. You will see your pitch.
- 4:15If it is not well within the range,
- 4:17practice thinning your tone, a slight
- 4:18thinning, sharpening your tone will
- 4:20ensure you get a better score in the
- 4:22main exam. Remember this. The sixth
- 4:24cheat code is your monotonic speech. If
- 4:26you're someone intonating the audio,
- 4:28definitely going to lose a lot of marks.
- 4:30If you pay attention to how I'm speaking
- 4:32right now, if I draw a graph of my
- 4:33speech, it would be almost a straight
- 4:35line. It will not come something like
- 4:37this. It is not wavy. If you're someone
- 4:39who's speaking in a wavy format, meaning
- 4:41non-monotonic speech, attracts low
- 4:44scores. Remember this. Remember this.
- 4:46Remember this. In our portal, we have a
- 4:47separate section. If you enable the Noa
- 4:49engine after you submit any speaking
- 4:51section, you will see large pitch
- 4:53variations. It should be less than five.
- 4:54Monotone, it should be yes. If monotone
- 4:56says no, that means you will definitely
- 4:58land up in trouble in the main exam. It
- 5:00could be because of your voice. Some
- 5:01people's voice, by default, will have
- 5:03intonations. Intonations is strictly
- 5:05prohibited. Don't intentionally add
- 5:07intonation thinking you would get more
- 5:09marks. All this will definitely affect
- 5:11your scores in a negative way. Remember
- 5:13this. Next is describe image. No need to
- 5:15cover every keyword from the image and
- 5:17it is highly impossible even for Albert
- 5:19Einstein or William Shakespeare. So, you
- 5:21don't have to become even Albert
- 5:23Einstein or William Shakespeare. Three
- 5:24key content or four key content you
- 5:26observe and decide, "Okay, this is what
- 5:28I'm going to speak in the first 25
- 5:30seconds." Decide on this. And once the
- 5:31mic is on, just speak these things that
- 5:33you decided to speak. Don't add some
- 5:35other words, some other thing thinking
- 5:37if you add more you get more marks.
- 5:39Nothing like that. All they're checking
- 5:40is how well can you manage speaking
- 5:43about an image. They're not expecting
- 5:44you to be so precise in speaking about
- 5:46an image. And every person will speak in
- 5:49a different way. There's nothing like a
- 5:50perfect answer for the image. So, there
- 5:52is no perfect answer. You can speak the
- 5:53way you want it. Don't try to trick the
- 5:56software. I'm telling you human
- 5:57evaluation may happen. We are not really
- 5:59sure about it. But itself is capable of
- 6:02handling this. Trust me on this. If you
- 6:03try to trick the software by using some
- 6:05lengthy templates
- 6:06templates like I've been given 40
- 6:08seconds to speak and today is my first
- 6:09day and I'm speaking and I'm very very
- 6:11happy and include some three four
- 6:12keywords all this bus will not work. I'm
- 6:14telling you all this please don't try.
- 6:16Just go with the structure in the
- 6:17beginning. Talk about what kind of an
- 6:19image is that. Give title. The image
- 6:21provided is an area chart that gives
- 6:22information about read the title. Talk
- 6:24about x-axis, y-axis if it is present.
- 6:26Some images do not have x-axis, y-axis.
- 6:28You can chuck them off. And then main
- 6:30body three key content point number one,
- 6:32point number two, point number three. If
- 6:34you want you can use the template.
- 6:35Firstly, it is evident that on the
- 6:36contrary and another interesting point
- 6:38is that and towards the end give a
- 6:39conclusion done and dusted. Follow this
- 6:41for describe image. Three key content
- 6:43more than enough. No need to speak a lot
- 6:46thinking if I cover every keyword I'll
- 6:47get more marks. You try to cover every
- 6:49keyword you will fumble for sure. You
- 6:50fumble, hesitate, definitely you'll be
- 6:52expecting a low score in the exam.
- 6:54Remember this. Cheat code number eight.
- 6:55Ideal time to speak in describe image 25
- 6:57to 30 seconds. Don't think I think I'm
- 6:59losing marks because I'm speaking only
- 7:00for 20 22 seconds. If I speak for 40
- 7:03seconds I get more marks. No, it's all
- 7:04about fluency and pronunciation the
- 7:06clarity. Content three four key content
- 7:08if you speak should be more than enough.
- 7:0925 to 30 seconds would be the ideal
- 7:11time. No need to really speak for 40
- 7:13seconds in describe image. Remember
- 7:15this. The ninth cheat code is with
- 7:16respect to retail lecture. Avoid writing
- 7:19only keywords. You got to write phrases.
- 7:21Meaning you got to write something that
- 7:23has a meaning. Keyword alone will not
- 7:24have a meaning. You will have to create
- 7:26a story around it and while doing so if
- 7:28you deviate from the original audio's
- 7:30meaning you definitely would get low
- 7:32scores AI will definitely give you low
- 7:34scores thinking that you're speaking for
- 7:35some other audio. The idea is very
- 7:36simple. Don't take only keywords. Take
- 7:38the phrases as it is. If the audio says
- 7:41technology these days are evolving so
- 7:43fast that people have access to
- 7:44everything. Technology these days are
- 7:46evolving so fast that people have access
- 7:47to everything. Like this four sentences
- 7:50any four sentences from the audio will
- 7:52ensure you get full scores. Taking
- 7:53keywords alone would mean that you may
- 7:56deviate from the actual meaning of the
- 7:58audio resulting in a low score. Remember
- 7:59this. And to top it off avoid using
- 8:01lengthy templates. Use some concise
- 8:03ones. The lecture was about Firstly, the
- 8:05speaker said Here the speaker mentioned
- 8:07Later speaker said something of this you
- 8:09can use. Whether you use it or not, it
- 8:10is not going to make any difference. But
- 8:12if you're someone who needs that flow
- 8:13from the template, you can use very
- 8:15short and version of template. The
- 8:17lecture gives the important key points
- 8:18relevant information about so many
- 8:19things that I'm very impressing about.
- 8:21Don't keep on speaking a lengthy
- 8:23template which do not reflect any word
- 8:26from the audio. You get more marks only
- 8:29when you include more number of words
- 8:31that are present in the audio. The
- 8:33lecture gives the important key points
- 8:34and the relevant information about 13 14
- 8:37words are never present in the audio. So
- 8:38how would this magically get you scores?
- 8:40Yes, it is giving you scores only inside
- 8:42your mind. Inside this it gives. The
- 8:44outside world would know that this is
- 8:46not going to give you anything. It may
- 8:48help you to get that flow to the rhythm,
- 8:50but to just get the flow, you don't have
- 8:52to use a lengthy template. Use lengthy
- 8:54template software may trigger for the
- 8:56human review and if human reads it, you
- 8:58may not expect a great score for this.
- 9:00Remember this. The 10th cheat code with
- 9:02respect to PTE retail lecture. Video can
- 9:04appear. Okay, what to do if video
- 9:06appears? Let it appear. All you need is
- 9:07an audio. Video will definitely have an
- 9:09audio. So why to worry? Don't even look
- 9:11at the video. Video will do only one
- 9:12thing. It will distract you. So don't
- 9:14look at the audio. Close your eyes and
- 9:16start listening and start noting down
- 9:17the points in the booklet that is given
- 9:19to you. Done and dusted. Same principle,
- 9:21same strategy as before. If video comes,
- 9:23know that a video has an audio and
- 9:25continue as simple as that. The 11th
- 9:27cheat code is again with respect to PTE
- 9:28academic retail lecture. The minute you
- 9:30finish taking the notes, take the cap
- 9:32and take your pen and keep the pen cap
- 9:35closed. Don't do this. If the cap is
- 9:37open for a very long time, there are
- 9:38high chances that the ink may dry up. So
- 9:40whenever you're not using it, keep the
- 9:42cap closed just to ensure that ink
- 9:44doesn't dry up. If you don't do this,
- 9:46after retail lecture comes summarize
- 9:47group discussion. While taking summarize
- 9:49group discussion, what if the ink dries
- 9:50up? You raise your hand and ask the
- 9:51invigilator. Invigilator will be talking
- 9:53to someone else outside. That person
- 9:55will come after probably 2 minutes. By
- 9:56that time, the audio is over and done
- 9:58and dusted, you would miss out on a lot
- 10:00of mark because you will not be able to
- 10:02speak anything for the audio. The 12th
- 10:05cheat code is with respect to PTE
- 10:06academic retail lecture. You have to
- 10:08take down some notes and now you have to
- 10:10start speaking. You're speaking and in
- 10:12the first sentence, third word you're
- 10:13not sure as to what you have written.
- 10:15What to do? Escape that word and keep
- 10:17speaking, man. If I skip that word, it
- 10:18is not making sense. It doesn't have to
- 10:20make sense. While writing, I really
- 10:22believe you would have written something
- 10:23that makes sense. If it doesn't, it's
- 10:25okay. But, try to write something that
- 10:26makes sense. Meaning, one or two words
- 10:28you skip, it should not completely alter
- 10:31everything. It should still say the same
- 10:32thing that is present in the audio,
- 10:34isn't it? So, one or two words or two
- 10:35three words or three four words that
- 10:37you've written, that you've taken down
- 10:38the notes, if you're not able to trace
- 10:40as to what it is, it's absolutely fine.
- 10:42Skip them and keep continuing. Do not
- 10:44compromise on the flow. It's very, very
- 10:47important you get fluency fight to get
- 10:49better scores towards your listening and
- 10:50speaking from PTE Academic Retail
- 10:53Lecture. Remember this. The 13th cheat
- 10:55code is with respect to PTE Summarize
- 10:57Group Discussion for PTE Academic. This
- 10:59module is a replica of Retail Lecture.
- 11:00In Retail Lecture, audio goes for
- 11:02probably 45 seconds to 1 minute.
- 11:03Summarize Group Discussion, it could be
- 11:052 minutes to 3 minutes, not just 3
- 11:06minutes all the time. It could be 2
- 11:07minutes to 3 minutes. And in Retail
- 11:09Lecture, you will take down four or five
- 11:11phrases. Here, it is three times of
- 11:13Retail Lecture. Four or five into three
- 11:15is 12 to 15 small sentences. Each
- 11:17sentence of eight to 10 words you take.
- 11:19Summarize Group Discussion, done and
- 11:21dusted. The 14th cheat code is again
- 11:23with respect to PTE Academic Summarize
- 11:25Group Discussion. As opposed to three
- 11:26speakers, there could be just to two
- 11:27speaker. You don't have to wait for the
- 11:29third speaker. Oh, I did not get an
- 11:31audio from third speaker. Some problem
- 11:32it could be. You don't need to think.
- 11:34Sometimes it could be two speakers or
- 11:36sometimes three, doesn't matter. If at
- 11:37all you're already prepared for three
- 11:39speakers, it's time you understand that
- 11:40two can also come and accordingly you
- 11:42need to change your strategy. Because
- 11:44there is no data for the third speaker.
- 11:4515th cheat code with respect to
- 11:47Summarize Group Discussion. Speaker
- 11:48one's data, by mistake I put into
- 11:50speaker two's. And speaker two's I put
- 11:52into speaker one's. Will that be a
- 11:54problem? Absolutely no problem. 100% no
- 11:57problem. They're asking you to
- 11:58summarize. They're not asking you to
- 12:01exactly say who told what, isn't it?
- 12:03Give work to your brain, you probably
- 12:04would understand yourself as to why it
- 12:06is allowed to mix the things up
- 12:08completely and still get a great score.
- 12:10As long as the words that you speak are
- 12:12present in the audio, you get your
- 12:14marks. Speaker one told speaker one that
- 12:16word is not there in the audio at all,
- 12:18boss. So, speaker one is not going to
- 12:19magically get you any scores. It just
- 12:21helps you get a flow of speech for the
- 12:22fluency. Whether you put speaker ones
- 12:24into speaker two or speaker twos into
- 12:25speaker one or three, it's not going to
- 12:27make any difference as long as the words
- 12:29that you speak present in the audio, you
- 12:31get your scores. Simple algorithm.
- 12:33Remember this. The 16th cheat code is
- 12:35with respect to PTE's respond to
- 12:37situation. Be on point. They would have
- 12:39asked you something. You just respond to
- 12:41that. No need to beat around the bush
- 12:43and talk about 100 different things. If
- 12:44the question is you have been caught by
- 12:46a police inspector and the inspector is
- 12:49asking you to show the ID card, but your
- 12:51ID card is at your home. How do you
- 12:54explain the police inspector? Hi police
- 12:56inspector, I'm aware that I have been
- 12:58caught while driving and you are asking
- 12:59me to show the ID card. Unfortunately,
- 13:01my ID card is in my home. Whatever the
- 13:04sentences were there in the question,
- 13:05exactly as it is. Tweaking here and
- 13:07there, change few words and spoke that.
- 13:09And now, how would you respond? One more
- 13:10sentence I speak about responding, done
- 13:13and dusted. How to speak one or two
- 13:14sentences only. So, if you could allow
- 13:16me at least 1 hour, I can go home and
- 13:18take my ID card and give it to you.
- 13:20Meantime, you can keep the vehicle here
- 13:22so that I will go home, get the ID card
- 13:24and come here. Simple, two sentences,
- 13:27done and dusted. Be on point. Don't have
- 13:30to beat around the bush. Hi inspector, I
- 13:31totally forgot that my mom is not well.
- 13:34I have to go home urgently. If I don't
- 13:36go home, she will definitely shout at
- 13:38me. She will call me multiple times. And
- 13:40my wife is also not there. Nobody at
- 13:42home. Please, please leave me. All these
- 13:43things are not needed. Be on the point
- 13:45because AI needs only that and that's
- 13:47how AI has been trained with. You give
- 13:49that, you get your marks. You don't give
- 13:51that and give a lot of things, AI says,
- 13:52"Boss, this is not what I was expecting.
- 13:54I think you deserve another attempt.
- 13:56Please, swipe your card and come back
- 13:58and take one more time." Remember this,
- 14:00be on the point and talk something very
- 14:03relevant and talk less. 25 to 30 seconds
- 14:06more than enough in respond to
- 14:07situation. Remember this. The 17th cheat
- 14:10code is with respect to answer short
- 14:11question. Dummy module, no No to study,
- 14:13no need to worry. You know the answer,
- 14:15speak the answer. You don't know the
- 14:16answer, speak something and quickly move
- 14:17on to the next question. 100% they're
- 14:19not going to give you any marks.
- 14:21Remember this. The 18th cheat code is
- 14:23with respect to PTE repeat sentence.
- 14:24Speak when the mic is on. Once the audio
- 14:27ends, mic will not be on immediately in
- 14:29most of the cases. There will be a beep
- 14:30sound in repeat sentence indicating that
- 14:33yes, now the mic is on, you have to
- 14:34speak now. And if you don't speak for 3
- 14:36seconds after the mic is on, fourth
- 14:38second microphone will turn off. But the
- 14:39point is sometimes there won't be any
- 14:41beep sound. Audio ends and it says
- 14:43beginning in two, beginning in one, and
- 14:45then recording. Before that, you finish
- 14:46speaking and know whatever you have
- 14:48spoken would not be recorded. Be very,
- 14:50very careful. All these are very, very
- 14:52important cheat codes. You speak before
- 14:54the mic is on, you think you spoke well,
- 14:57and the result says something else. Make
- 14:58sure to speak only when the mic is on.
- 15:00Remember this. The 19th cheat code.
- 15:02Remember always to speak a little faster
- 15:04than your actual speed. A little faster.
- 15:07Let me show you a quick demonstration
- 15:09through a read aloud. Here we start. I'm
- 15:10randomly opening a read aloud question.
- 15:12Just see how I maintain the speed,
- 15:14tempo, and my rhythm.
- 15:16A railway station is a facility that has
- 15:18railway tracks or lines for trains to
- 15:20carry passengers or goods from one place
- 15:21to another. There are different kinds of
- 15:23railway stations. Some are above ground,
- 15:25while some are underground.
- 15:27You have to speak this way. You're going
- 15:29to get fluency five. Well, here I'll get
- 15:32the content as well five because content
- 15:34if 70-80% matches, you get your scores.
- 15:36You don't have to speak 100% correct,
- 15:38and that's how it would be in the exam,
- 15:39and that's how we have trained our AI as
- 15:41well. Content is five though I spoke
- 15:42that that that that that that towards
- 15:43the end. But
- 15:45coming back to what we were discussing,
- 15:47it's the fluency, the flow of speech.
- 15:49The speed should be at least this. You
- 15:51speak little slower. A railway station
- 15:54is a facility that has railway tracks or
- 15:56train or lines for trains to carry
- 15:58passengers or goods from one place to
- 16:00another. This speed will ensure you get
- 16:02only three out of five fluency if not
- 16:04five out of five. Remember this. The
- 16:06last 20th cheat code of this video. Be
- 16:08clearer when you speak. When you talk to
- 16:11your friend, definitely you're talking
- 16:12in a way that your friend would not take
- 16:14one stone and say, "Hey, dude, open your
- 16:16mouth. What are you trying to say? I'm
- 16:17not understanding anything. This
- 16:18situation would not occur in the real
- 16:20scenario. But for so many students, the
- 16:23situation is the norm in the PTE exam.
- 16:25They speak in a way AI shouts, "Dude,
- 16:27what is this? Open your mouth. Open your
- 16:29mouth." And the person says,
- 16:32"Open the mouth. Be more clearer."
- 16:34Pronunciation is all about with what
- 16:36ease you would make someone understand
- 16:38what you speak. If it becomes so
- 16:39difficult for someone to understand your
- 16:41speech, your pronunciation, the clarity,
- 16:43everything is so low. It's not about
- 16:44accent. You can have your own accent and
- 16:46get 90. But the point is try to be
- 16:48clearer. Open the mouth more like I'm
- 16:50trying to speak more clearly so that
- 16:52whoever listens to me would understand
- 16:54what I speak. This is the mantra for
- 16:56your five out of five pronunciation.
- 16:58Remember this. I think that's all for
- 17:00today. I really hope this was an
- 17:02informative content giving you more idea
- 17:04about where you possibly could go wrong
- 17:06and some confidence boosters in the
- 17:08middle and some tips and tricks, last
- 17:09minute tips and strategies. If you found
- 17:11this video useful, share it with your

- 17:19With this I'm going to park the video
- 17:20here. This is Nakul and A K U L. Nakul
- 17:24signing off from Skills PTE. Soon we'll
- 17:25be back. Till then, take care. Bye-bye.
- 17:27Thanks very
