1. 0:06today I'm going to do an incab
2. 0:07inspection first thing I want to do is
3. 0:09make sure that I have a safety belt that
4. 0:11is properly mounted and secured it is
5. 0:14not ripped The Fray it latches and
6. 0:17unlatches properly and is adjusted to me
7. 0:21next I want to make sure that I have
8. 0:23three red reflective triangles on board
9. 0:26six circuit breakers or fuses I also
10. 0:28want to make sure that I have a ABC
11. 0:30rated fire extinguisher that is properly
12. 0:33charged and securely
13. 0:35mounted next I want to do a safe start
14. 0:38first thing I want to do is make sure
15. 0:40that both brake valves are pulled out
16. 0:42clutch to the
17. 0:43floor make sure the shifter is in
18. 0:45neutral then I'm want to start the
19. 0:47engine or I'm going to turn the key to
20. 0:49the on
21. 0:51position and wait for the gauges to
22. 0:53reset my ABS light should come on and go
23. 0:55off if it does not then that means my
24. 0:57ABS brake system will need to be
25. 0:59serviced
26. 1:00now I want to start the
27. 1:03engine once the engine resiling speed
28. 1:05I'm going to release the clutch
29. 1:07slowly now I'm going to check my gauges
30. 1:10my oil pressure gauge should be
31. 1:11gradually rising to my nor to the normal
32. 1:13operating range uh my water temperature
33. 1:16gauge should be gradually rising to the
34. 1:18normal operating range my voltmeter
35. 1:20gauge should be reading that my
36. 1:23alternator is is charging or the light
37. 1:27should be off my air pressure gauges
38. 1:29should be reading uh that my air
39. 1:32compressor is building air to the
40. 1:33governor cutout of 120 to 140
41. 1:37PSI now I'm going to check my lighting
42. 1:41indicators um make sure my lights are on
43. 1:45my left indicator right
44. 1:48indicator high beam indicator and
45. 1:50four-way flasher indicators are all
46. 1:53functioning properly now I want to check
47. 1:56my city horn 22 my highway horn Hong
48. 1:59Hong
49. 2:00both functioning properly now I want to
50. 2:03check my heater and defroster I want to
51. 2:06make sure that I put the switch on red
52. 2:09and put the other switch on defrost and
53. 2:12floorboard turn it all the way up point
54. 2:15to the windshield and the floor and my
55. 2:18make sure that my defrost is blowing on
56. 2:20the windshield and my heater blowing on
57. 2:22the
58. 2:25floorboard now I'm going to check my
59. 2:26mirrors both my mirrors should be clean
60. 2:29with no
61. 2:30obstructions and adjust it to me from
62. 2:32the inside my windshield should be clean
63. 2:35with no obstructions no illegal stickers
64. 2:37and no damage to the glass my windshield
65. 2:40wiper arms and Blades should both be
66. 2:42properly moned and secure not damaged
67. 2:45and moving smoothly across the
68. 2:47windshield my washers should operate
69. 2:50correctly and my washer fluid should be
70. 2:53filled to the manufacture specification
71. 2:55and it should be used to spray the
72. 2:56windshield to clean off
73. 2:58debris now I'm going to put push in my
74. 3:01trailer parking brake valve clutch to
75. 3:04the floor put the shifter in put the
76. 3:06gear shift in first gear and I'm going
77. 3:08to tug against the brake and my tractor
78. 3:12brake should hold my vehicle in
79. 3:15place my tractor brake held my vehicle
80. 3:18in place I'm going to pull out the
81. 3:19trailer brake valve and push in the
82. 3:21tractor brake valve I'm going to tug
83. 3:23against the brake and my trailer brake
84. 3:25should hold the vehicle in
85. 3:27place my trailer brake held the vehic
86. 3:29iicle in place now I'm going to make
87. 3:31sure both valves are pushed in and I'm
88. 3:33going to pull forward approximately 5 to
89. 3:3510 ft when I applied my service brakes
90. 3:39my tractor should not pull to the left
91. 3:40or to the right if it does that means
92. 3:42that my brakes out of adjustment I'm
93. 3:44going place my hands right here I want
94. 3:46to pull
95. 3:53forward my tractor did not when I
96. 3:55applied my service brake my tractor did
97. 3:57not pull it to the left or to the right
98. 4:00now I'm going
99. 4:05to back truck back up to make sure that
100. 4:08it is on level
101. 4:18ground all righty now I'm going to put
102. 4:22the shifter back in neutral and I'm
103. 4:24going to build my air pressure up to the
104. 4:26governor cutout between 120 and 140 PS I
105. 4:30I would know that I've reached the
106. 4:31governor cutout when I hear the pop or
107. 4:33the sneezing sound from the vehicle and
108. 4:35to do so I'm just going to raise my RPMs
109. 4:37up to about 10 to 13 RPMs until we hear
110. 4:41the governor
111. 4:58cutout for
112. 5:38that was the governor cutout that we
113. 5:40just heard it went off and it was
114. 5:42supposed to now I'm going to shut the
115. 5:44engine
116. 5:45off I'm going to turn the key back to
117. 5:47the on
118. 5:50position now I'm going to hold the foot
119. 5:52brake pedal down for one minute and my
120. 5:54air pressure must not drop more than 4
121. 5:56pounds in one minute examiner would you
122. 5:59please please
123. 6:01timing examiner's going to tell you to
124. 6:03start going to hold the brake pedal
125. 6:05down and examiner's going to tell you to
126. 6:07stop or say time take your foot off the
127. 6:10break and I did not my air pressure did
128. 6:13not drop more than four pounds in that
129. 6:14one minute now I'm going to ban off my
130. 6:18air pressure and both my low pressure
131. 6:20warning light and Buzzard should both
132. 6:22activate before my air pressure drops
133. 6:24below 55 PSI
134. 6:41fol my low pressure warning lightting
135. 6:42buzzer came on when it was supposed to
136. 6:44now I'm going to continue to Fan off my
137. 6:45air pressure and both my brake valves
138. 6:48should activate or pop out at
139. 6:50approximately 40 PSI
140. 7:00both my brake valves popped out when
141. 7:01they were supposed to and um now I am
142. 7:06prepared to inspect the outside of the
143. 7:08vehicle but before I do so I want to
144. 7:11make sure that my headlights are on high
145. 7:14beams are on four-way flashes are on and
146. 7:16my key turned to the on position
