- 0:00Ladies and gents, football is finally
- 0:02back. It feels like forever, but week
- 0:05six is here upon us, and we're going to
- 0:07go through all the matches as per usual.
- 0:10Welcome to the Footy Network.
- 0:17Hi guys, hope you're doing well and
- 0:19welcome back to the Premier League as we
- 0:22go through the fixtures and there are
- 0:24some huge huge fixtures. the whole the
- 0:27whole Christmas break, the whole
- 0:28international break. We've been seeing
- 0:30the 115 guilty as charged for Sham
- 0:34Samcha City. What do you guys feel about
- 0:37that? Should they be relegated? Should
- 0:39they be fined? Should they be put out of
- 0:41existence? Let me know what your
- 0:43punishment would be in the comments.
- 0:44They will take on Liverpool, the team
- 0:46they screwed over, you could argue the
- 0:48most in that period at Anfield. We'll
- 0:51come on to that game. You got the
- 0:52Glasgner derby coming up. You got
- 0:54Arsenal back in the Premier League after
- 0:56taking an L before the international
- 0:58break and so much more. Let's get into
- 1:01it and let's kick it off with the first
- 1:03match. The Emirates gets us back
- 1:05underway as Arsenal will take on Leads
- 1:08United and leads United absolutely
- 1:11highflying in the Premier League right
- 1:13now. Let's just recap everyone because
- 1:15maybe people have forgotten. It feels
- 1:17like so long since we got there. You got
- 1:19Man City sitting on top with an
- 1:21asterisk. You got Arsenal in second,
- 1:23Brighton third, Brenford fourth, and
- 1:25then Leeds sitting in fifth place.
- 1:27Leadeds have been fantastic so far this
- 1:29season. Yes, they drew nil nil with
- 1:31Crystal Palace just before the break,
- 1:33but they'll be very confident and very
- 1:35positive with their start. I actually
- 1:36think they're still undefeated if I'm
- 1:38not mistaken. And a 12:30 kickoff
- 1:41against Arsenal who need to put things
- 1:43right after they got slapped up by
- 1:45Brighton before the international break.
- 1:47This is going to be a very interesting
- 1:49game. Arsenal are depleted with some
- 1:52injuries from the international break.
- 1:54Their strike force doesn't look that
- 1:55good to me at the moment and leads with
- 1:58DCL Calbert Lewin there firing away up
- 2:01front. They're looking decent, man. I
- 2:03can see an upset here. I'm going to go
- 2:05Arsenal nil leads nil. I think neither
- 2:08team's going to score. I think this is
- 2:10going to be a physical and aggressive
- 2:11match and I see the points being shared.
- 2:14Villa Park will be the second game as
- 2:16Aston Villa will take on Brenford. And
- 2:19both teams are coming off W's from about
- 2:21a month ago. Villa finally getting their
- 2:24first win as they took on Dr. Tottenham
- 2:26who sorted them out. And Villa moved
- 2:28slightly up the table. Where are they
- 2:30now? Let's have a quick look. They're
- 2:31sitting in 16th place with that first
- 2:35win under their belt. Brenford slapped
- 2:37up Chelsea just before the international
- 2:40break in the West London derby kind of
- 2:42thing. They're fourth in the league.
- 2:44They're still undefeated as well. The
- 2:46table looks so crazy right now. And I
- 2:50think this is going to be a tight game
- 2:51as well. I think Villa will be feeling
- 2:53confident after the game with Dr. Spurs.
- 2:56I think Brenford would have wished the
- 2:58international break hadn't come. And I
- 3:00think this will be a high-flying game,
- 3:02but I think I'm going to go Villa one,
- 3:06Brenford one. I'm going to share the
- 3:08points out here cuz Villa at home. Maybe
- 3:10it's the new stands. Maybe it's those
- 3:12changes. It's just not quite ticking
- 3:14there for them yet as they still haven't
- 3:16been able to produce a great result
- 3:18there. Let's see how it goes. Portman
- 3:21Road will see Ipsswitch Town taking on
- 3:24Fulham and Ipsswitch are the kind of
- 3:28loss win loss loss win loss kind of
- 3:31thing. They're doing okay though. I
- 3:33mean, if you'd offered an Ipsswitch fan
- 3:3511th in the league going into the
- 3:37international break, they would have
- 3:38absolutely bit your hand off. Yes, I
- 3:40know they lost to Everton in the last
- 3:42game week, but 11th place, not too bad
- 3:44for them, especially after they got that
- 3:46win against Crystal Palace the week
- 3:48before. So, they're sitting on six
- 3:50points. Fulham, on the other hand, are
- 3:52still winless. They could argue they're
- 3:54undefeated in their last two, drawing
- 3:56with both Manchester United and
- 3:58Liverpool. That's lifted them off the
- 4:00bottom of the league and put Tottenham
- 4:02bottom.
- 4:04When I watch Fulham, I see good patterns
- 4:06of play. I see good football. I kind of
- 4:08just feel like they're not finishing
- 4:10their dinner at times and that they make
- 4:12silly mistakes at the back. Ipssw which
- 4:14have looked okay as well apart from that
- 4:16second half where they capitulated
- 4:18against Manchester United. There signs
- 4:20of life there. I think I'm just going to
- 4:22back the home team on this one. I think
- 4:24Fulham still aren't fully clicking and
- 4:26I'm going to go Ipsswitch to Fulham one.
- 4:29If Fulham lose this though, there could
- 4:31be some serious pressure on their
- 4:33manager. Will Araloa be able to see it
- 4:35out to the next international break in
- 4:37November? If so, he's going to need to
- 4:40pick up some wins. Stanford Bridge will
- 4:42see Chelsea taking on Boring Mouth. And
- 4:46Chelsea didn't do too well, as we
- 4:48mentioned, losing to Brenford three
- 4:50goals to nil just before the
- 4:51international break. Defense has been an
- 4:53issue for Chelsea, leaking goals left,
- 4:55right, and center. Midfield's an issue.
- 4:57They desperately need the likes of
- 4:59Cassedo back in that midfield. And in
- 5:01that last game, the so-called JP Morgan
- 5:04weren't firing up front as they couldn't
- 5:06score a goal against Bredford. But I
- 5:08want to talk on Boring Mouth because not
- 5:10enough is being said. These these little
- 5:13scubby team haven't won a single game
- 5:15yet. They've drawn three games and taken
- 5:18two L's and they're sitting 17th in the
- 5:20table. And more needs to be said about
- 5:22them. Yes, people are telling me they're
- 5:24still playing okay football and the wins
- 5:26will come, but the wins have to come at
- 5:28some point otherwise they could find
- 5:30themselves, please God, in a relegation
- 5:32battle. Now, how does this game go? I
- 5:35think Boring Mouth are a draw
- 5:37specialist. They were last season.
- 5:38They've carried it on a bit this season
- 5:40as well, but at Stamford Bridge, I would
- 5:42expect Chelsea to be able to come out
- 5:45flying. Chelsea have scored so many
- 5:47times early in games, and I wouldn't be
- 5:49surprised if they did it in this one.
- 5:51I'm going to back the home team. I'm
- 5:52going to go Chelsea three. Boring mouth
- 5:55one. I still don't think Chelsea are
- 5:56good enough at the back to keep a clean
- 5:58sheet, but let's see what happens. The
- 6:00stadium of light will see Sunderland
- 6:02taking on Brighton and all that hype
- 6:05pre- international break during the
- 6:07international break on positivity was
- 6:09about Brighton as they sit third in the
- 6:11table after they slapped up Arsenal just
- 6:14before the international break. In fact,
- 6:16Brighton have taken one L and that was
- 6:18against Chelsea and they were unlucky
- 6:19not to come back into that game. They've
- 6:21won three other games, drawn one as
- 6:23well. And I have to admit, they're
- 6:25playing beautiful football. They, you
- 6:27know, ever since their manager got that
- 6:29hair transplant, it seems to have given
- 6:30them some more football IQ or something
- 6:32because they're flying. And I think this
- 6:35is a good fixture for them. Sunderland
- 6:36is sitting 14th in the league table, one
- 6:38win under their belt, a few L's as well.
- 6:41And they've got European football to
- 6:43contend with. That cycle's about to
- 6:45start again. So, will they have half an
- 6:46eye on it? Who knows? I think Brighton,
- 6:49even with their European football, which
- 6:51is Conference, which, you know, their
- 6:53under 16s could probably win, I think
- 6:55they'll fancy this trip up to um
- 6:57Sunderland. So, I'm going to go
- 6:59Sunderland nil, Brighton 2. I think that
- 7:02streak continues with Brighton and I can
- 7:04see them picking up three more points.
- 7:08Old Trashford will be our next point of
- 7:10call as Manchester United will take on
- 7:13Tottenham. And this is probably my most
- 7:16hated fixture in the Premier League
- 7:18because you know the saying, can they
- 7:20both lose? That applies to me on this
- 7:23game. Manchester United have been
- 7:25rubbish this season. Very lucky with a
- 7:27couple of their results against Fulham.
- 7:29You could also argue even when they got
- 7:31their one win against Ipsswich, had the
- 7:33Ipsswitch defender not slipped, maybe
- 7:35they go into halftime, a goal or two
- 7:37down. I think there's pressure under
- 7:39Carrick um at United already. Fans
- 7:42aren't liking the style of football.
- 7:43You're seeing the Norwich scarfs waving
- 7:46yet again at Old Trafford. Every time
- 7:48they start losing, it's the Glazer's
- 7:49fault. Of course, Spurs
- 7:53rock bottom of the table and they kind
- 7:56of have Forest to thank after Forest
- 7:58absolutely blew it against Coventry.
- 8:00That put Spurs bottom of the league. Is
- 8:02Deserby under pressure? There's rumors
- 8:04that if Spurs want to sack him, it will
- 8:06cost them about 50 million pounds to do
- 8:08so. But with the crazy amount of money
- 8:10they spent this summer, at some point it
- 8:13has to click. I don't know how this one
- 8:15goes. And I think any result is going to
- 8:17be funny. If man, you win. We can laugh
- 8:19at the Spurs fans. If Spurs win, we can
- 8:21laugh at the United fans. And if they
- 8:23draw, we can just laugh at them
- 8:25together. So, you know what? I want to
- 8:27laugh at all of them. I'm going to go
- 8:28Manchester United one. Spurs one. This
- 8:31game is usually a tasty one
- 8:33historically. It has produced some funny
- 8:35results. And let's not forget Man United
- 8:38were the ones who enabled Spurs to lift
- 8:39the trophy under big an Elhurst Park
- 8:43will see Crystal Palace taking on the
- 8:46mighty forest in what's being dubbed the
- 8:48Glasna derby, the Cassie Cole after the
- 8:51whole Europa League stuff a year or so
- 8:53ago. And uh
- 8:57I think the Palace fans are treating
- 8:58this like it's their Champions League
- 9:00final final. And I can understand why.
- 9:03The two stars are coming to London.
- 9:05They're getting very excited. Palace
- 9:07fans, will you be standing up and
- 9:09applauding as Glasnner leads out Forest?
- 9:12Your greatest ever manager factually in
- 9:15the history of your club will be in the
- 9:17opposition dugout and you guys need to
- 9:19make sure you show him some respect.
- 9:21Stand up and applaud him for making your
- 9:23club relevant for those two years. On
- 9:26the other hand though, Glasgner start at
- 9:27Forest has not been amazing. Losing to
- 9:30Coventry was an absolute embarrassment.
- 9:32Coventry well deserved the three points
- 9:34but Forest were absolutely shocking. If
- 9:37Vindoi starts in this game I have to
- 9:39question Glasnner's sanity. I really do.
- 9:41But yet again Indoi's gone and scored
- 9:43goals for Switzerland. He just loves
- 9:45Switzerland more than he must love
- 9:46Forest. Crystal Palace have a few
- 9:49injuries. The potential of Khalili the
- 9:51turncoat may be out. Mateta might be
- 9:54back on the bench for them. And they got
- 9:56apparently some crisis in center back
- 9:59positions as well. Crystal Palace
- 10:01haven't beat Forest since I think 2011.
- 10:04This usually ends up in a Forest win,
- 10:06but more so recently a lot of draws. I
- 10:09think it's just going to be a draw. I
- 10:11think the Palace fans are really going
- 10:12to be up for this one. But I can see it
- 10:15being Palace one, Forest One. But if
- 10:17Crystal Palace do win, they may put this
- 10:20alongside their crappy Conference League
- 10:22trophy and the FA Cup in that trophy
- 10:24cabinet. We'll see how it goes. MKM
- 10:27Stadium will see Hull City taking on
- 10:30Everton. And outside of Brighton, the
- 10:32surprise package really this season has
- 10:34been Hull. They're sitting eighth in the
- 10:36league. They've only lost one game, one
- 10:38two and drawn to Everton, I've been
- 10:41saying don't sleep on them. Really good
- 10:43team. Moyes knows how to get them
- 10:45playing. They're sitting seventh and are
- 10:47undefeated in the Premier League so far.
- 10:50Two wins and three draws. I I just think
- 10:53that Hull are going to start to fall
- 10:55away. the whole hype and excitement
- 10:57about being in the Premier League back
- 10:59again and all that setting, troop
- 11:00setting, I think is going to fade and I
- 11:04think this is not a good game for them.
- 11:05Moyes will know how to react to their,
- 11:08you know, their crowd, how to get his
- 11:10players ready for it and everything. And
- 11:12I can see this being quite the Moyes
- 11:14performance. I think this is a cut and
- 11:17dry, easy one to predict. I'm going to
- 11:19go whole nil. Everton won and I still
- 11:22think there's an outside chance that
- 11:24Everton get European football. They
- 11:26bottled it at the end of last season.
- 11:28Maybe they've learned from that and have
- 11:29built. I think they get the three points
- 11:31here. Anfield will see Liverpool taking
- 11:35on the Guilty 115
- 11:38on Sunday and the whole world is going
- 11:41to be watching this match. Well, I'll be
- 11:43rushing through my player ratings to
- 11:45make kickoff, but forest player two. Oh,
- 11:48this is going to be fun to watch. It
- 11:51really is. I like You couldn't write the
- 11:54script, could you? The team that the 115
- 11:57Sham Shamchester City screwed over the
- 12:00most in that period that they were
- 12:02investigated for was Liverpool and then
- 12:05the club era and then everything else
- 12:08and you know, you had Slippy G in there
- 12:10at some point. So, there's a lot of
- 12:13energy. There's going to be a lot of
- 12:14emotion on this game. There's been
- 12:16rumors about Tifos about to be put up to
- 12:19remind Man City of the cheats they are.
- 12:22I can't wait for it. I can't wait for
- 12:24it. How are the City players going to
- 12:25react? Are they going to be like turning
- 12:28their back on City thinking why am I
- 12:30here? Or will they be doing us against
- 12:32the world routine? They did this when
- 12:34the accusations came out a few years ago
- 12:37and then City went on to do the treble I
- 12:39think if I remember rightly. So maybe
- 12:40they use that to galvanize themselves.
- 12:43Moresca's press conference is going to
- 12:44be funny as well.
- 12:46There's just so much as a neutral to
- 12:48look at this and enjoy. And you know
- 12:51what? I actually think the pressure here
- 12:53is solely on Liverpool. They have the
- 12:56weight of the Premier League on their
- 12:57shoulders to go and beat the cheats, the
- 13:00115 or 114 now. And I don't think
- 13:03they're going to handle that pressure
- 13:04well enough. Barcool is sitting on 9
- 13:07right now across all games he's played
- 13:09this season. And they've spent 120 odd
- 13:11million on him. I think Man City win
- 13:13this. I'm going to go Man City.
- 13:15Liverpool one, Man City 2. I just think
- 13:18the pressure gets to Liverpool and I
- 13:20think Man City, let's not forget with
- 13:22all the cheating and everything that's
- 13:24built up, they are top of the league and
- 13:25they've won every game so far. I think
- 13:28they win this one.
- 13:30The CBS Arena. I don't like that name.
- 13:34We'll see Coventry taking on Newcastle
- 13:36United. Just go back to being the Rico
- 13:39Arena, man.
- 13:41Anyway, anyway, anyway, let's get into
- 13:43the game. Coventry, thanks to Dr.
- 13:45Forest, got their first win in 25 years
- 13:48in the Premier League. And even as a
- 13:50Forest fan, I have to say they deserved
- 13:52the win on that one. That lifted them
- 13:54off the foot of the table and pushed
- 13:55them up to 18th. And now things that
- 13:57weren't looking so rosy for the COV
- 13:59fans, they're now looking at thinking,
- 14:01we're actually just in the relegation
- 14:03zone by goal difference. Maybe maybe
- 14:05that gives them a little bit of chest.
- 14:07Newcastle, where are they? They're ninth
- 14:09in the table. before they picked up a W
- 14:11just before the international break
- 14:12against Hull. I like the style that
- 14:15their new manager is playing them, but I
- 14:18still just think it's not not balanced
- 14:20enough. You just always feel that at any
- 14:23point there could be like an influx of
- 14:25goals going against them or something
- 14:26like that. However, however, I think
- 14:29they are getting more and more jelled as
- 14:31the season goes on. He would have had
- 14:32the international break. Okay, a lot of
- 14:34those players would have gone away um
- 14:35for Newcastle, but I think they'll fancy
- 14:38their chances. Coventry at home at the
- 14:40Rico or the CBS whatever it's called now
- 14:43have not looked good at all and they
- 14:44have leaked a lot of goals and I don't
- 14:47think things will change here. I'm going
- 14:48to go Coventry nil Newcastle three.
- 14:51Sorry. Sorry Matt SB man. I just I just
- 14:54think Newcastle will have too much and
- 14:56they won't be as stupid as Forest were
- 14:58just before the international break. So
- 15:00I'm going for the away win. And that's
- 15:02your 10 fixtures done and dusted in the
- 15:04bag. Get your predictions in. Let me
- 15:06know how you think your team will fare.
- 15:08Let me know the punishment for the 115
- 15:11Shams Chester City, should they be
- 15:14relegated or not. Make sure you've liked
- 15:16and subscribed as well. And uh good luck
- 15:18to your team this weekend unless you're
- 15:21playing mine. And we'll see you on the
- 15:23next video.
