- 0:29box. Tell us your deepest, darkest
- 0:30secret right now.
- 0:31>> My deepest, darkest secret? [laughter]
- 0:33>> I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.
- 0:34>> I don't know.
- 0:37>> Good answer. Good answer.
- 0:39>> So, were you born and raised in Oblak?
- 0:41>> Yep.
- 0:41>> And so, pretty much anyone that like
- 0:43grows up here, do they kind of stay
- 0:44here?
- 0:44>> Uh, yeah.
- 0:46>> And how many of your friends have you
- 0:48lost since you've been growing up?
- 0:50>> How many friends?
- 0:51>> Yeah. Like, have you lost any friends
- 0:53growing up?
- 0:53>> Uh, yeah. Yeah,
- 0:55>> man. That's sad.
- 0:56>> Yeah, I lost a lot of friends.
- 0:57>> Dang, that's sad. Yeah, Pastor Cory was
- 0:59saying how like death and stuff is just
- 1:01like a norm here. Shootings are a norm
- 1:03and things like that and that just
- 1:05breaks my heart.
- 1:06>> Yeah, that's a norm for sure.
- 1:07>> What can we expect talking to people
- 1:09about Jesus in here, faith and stuff
- 1:11like that? Like what what's the what's
- 1:13the gauge?
- 1:14>> You'll have mixed emotions because you
- 1:16have you have a lot of people that like
- 1:18like believe in Christianity. You have a
- 1:20lot of people that are Muslim.
- 1:21>> Uhhuh.
- 1:22>> A lot of the guys like from the area
- 1:24they have just converted over to Muslim.
- 1:26>> Gotcha. So yeah, you have mix mix.
- 1:29>> Cool.
- 1:30>> My boy Von,
- 1:31>> what up y'all?
- 1:32>> How's it going?
- 1:33>> What's up, man? Y'all good?
- 1:35>> We're good.
- 1:36>> All right. What's up, Von?
- 1:36>> I'm Bryce. Nice to meet you.
- 1:38>> All right. Come on, man.
- 1:38>> So, you guys been on tour?
- 1:40>> Yeah, we've been on tour ever since
- 1:41February 24th.
- 1:42>> So, like what do you guys like do at you
- 1:44guys show?
- 1:45>> So, we have like a little bit of worship
- 1:47and then uh I I I just preach from the
- 1:49Bible. Talk about Jesus.
- 1:51>> Oh, yeah.
- 1:51>> Yeah. And then we got a friend from
- 1:53Kenya that like shares his testimony. He
- 1:55got grew up in Nairobi, Kenya. He got
- 1:57shot when he was five and then like some
- 1:59Americans sponsored him to help him get
- 2:01like education and stuff like that. And
- 2:03then um he became a Christian at 17 and
- 2:06now like his whole family's out of
- 2:07poverty because some people in America
- 2:09helped him and
- 2:10>> it's a blessing.
- 2:11>> It's a big blessing. That's all
- 2:12Christians should be about. We just like
- 2:14blessing people and loving on people,
- 2:15you know. Are you a Christian?
- 2:17>> Yeah, I'm Christian.
- 2:17>> I was about to say you're hanging out
- 2:18with Pastor Cory. You've ever been a
- 2:20Christian?
- 2:20>> Yeah. Grew up I grew up like me and
- 2:22Pastor Cory like like real close. Wow,
- 2:25that's amazing. Thank you for hanging
- 2:26out with us today.
- 2:27>> Oh, anytime.
- 2:29>> Leech is going to be back.
- 2:30>> Yeah, yeah, he had to go. He had to
- 2:31attend a funeral.
- 2:32>> Man, that's sad. I mean, how many
- 2:34funerals are happening in a year that
- 2:36you guys got to go to?
- 2:37>> Slowed down, but like it's been a few.
- 2:40Like, I had I had um situations where
- 2:43two of my friends have passed away
- 2:45together twice.
- 2:46>> What?
- 2:47>> Yeah.
- 2:47>> And that's heartbreaking.
- 2:49>> What's What's up? You good?
- 2:51>> How you feeling? I love you.
- 2:54>> I love you too. It have been situations
- 2:56like that.
- 2:57>> So, aside from like the crime and and
- 2:59the brokenness and the hopelessness and
- 3:00stuff like that, like
- 3:02>> how deep does the family run here?
- 3:03>> The family real deep.
- 3:05>> Everywhere we're walking, people know
- 3:06you and everybody's showing love and
- 3:08stuff like that. So, good morning.
- 3:10>> What's up? What's up, pastor?
- 3:11>> What's your name?
- 3:12>> Swan.
- 3:13>> Nice to meet you. I'm Bryce.
- 3:14>> What's up, man?
- 3:15>> How y'all?
- 3:16>> We're feeling good.
- 3:17>> What's up, pastor?
- 3:18>> Good morning.
- 3:19>> How you doing, my boy?
- 3:20>> Shout out to the pastor, man. [laughter]
- 3:22Real good guy.
- 3:23>> He's the man. Pastor Cor is the man.
- 3:25>> Thanks, Juan.
- 3:26>> All right,
- 3:28your hand.
- 3:29>> Morning,
- 3:29>> Box. They want to pray for some people.
- 3:31They want you may you may want to teach
- 3:33the word. I don't know. Whenever
- 3:35>> you know.
- 3:35>> Yeah, I'm Whatever you bet. Yeah, I'm
- 3:38I'm over there.
- 3:39>> Love you guys.
- 3:40>> I hopefully I get to see you tonight.
- 3:42>> We inside the gate. I have to take my
- 3:43mask off.
- 3:44>> Wait, why do you have to keep it on
- 3:45outside though?
- 3:45>> Cuz
- 3:47you see how like we walking just people
- 3:49flag me down stuff like that. I'm a
- 3:50popular rapper around. So, it's like
- 3:52>> Okay, that's cool. One of my f One of my
- 3:54one of my friends was in here a few
- 3:56months ago.
- 3:56>> What's his name?
- 3:57>> Balen.
- 3:58>> Balen. That's He was over there with me.
- 3:59>> Oh, was he hanging with you?
- 4:00>> Yeah, Balon. That's my boy. I don't
- 4:02know. That's why when I just sent you,
- 4:04you looking familiar.
- 4:05>> Yeah, dude. We want to pray for people.
- 4:06We'll talk to anybody. I don't care if
- 4:07they're Christian or not. You know,
- 4:09we'll love on them.
- 4:09>> Hey, it's a little early, so trying to
- 4:12see where all the kids at. It feel good.
- 4:14Everybody will be outside in a minute.
- 4:16>> It does feel good today. I thought it
- 4:17was going to be cold. No, today's one of
- 4:19them them nice weather days.
- 4:20>> Plus the spring break. There you go. Are
- 4:23y'all on spring break?
- 4:24>> How hard is it if you don't live in the
- 4:25community to get inside of Oblock?
- 4:27>> Very very like Mission Impossible.
- 4:31>> Are you serious?
- 4:32>> Yes.
- 4:32>> Dang. Well, we're in.
- 4:35>> Yeah. Thank God.
- 4:36>> Cuz cuz of you and Bianca and Pastor
- 4:38Gory.
- 4:39>> Yeah.
- 4:39>> That's cool. I knew God was going to
- 4:41make a way, man. I was praying. And so I
- 4:43know that there's like a couple blocks.
- 4:45Do they are they all connected or is it
- 4:47all separated?
- 4:48>> Uh like this this whole area is
- 4:51connected.
- 4:52>> Okay.
- 4:52>> So like this would be the beginning
- 4:54block.
- 4:55>> Okay.
- 4:55>> I know it's still a little early.
- 4:57>> Start doing it like the Mormons will
- 4:58knock on their door. Have you ever heard
- 5:00of the Lord Jesus Christ?
- 5:02>> Oh, that'll be that'll be
- 5:03>> that's so funny. [laughter]
- 5:05That's so funny. Y'all ever had Mormons
- 5:07come here?
- 5:07>> No.
- 5:08>> Oh, the cat. My wife would love that
- 5:10cat. Oh, the cat.
- 5:12>> Who picked the cat off? [laughter]
- 5:14>> Hi Look how happy he is.
- 5:16>> Hi.
- 5:18>> Hello.
- 5:19>> So happy. He's praying. You want to come
- 5:21home, don't you?
- 5:23>> He wants to hear the word of Jesus.
- 5:24[laughter]
- 5:25>> I can't believe he grabbed him. Oh,
- 5:27you're cute. Look at this one. This
- 5:28one's cute right here.
- 5:31>> Hey,
- 5:31>> for sure. Keith made it made it a
- 5:33household name and then King Vaughn just
- 5:35carried it.
- 5:36>> Is Lil Tony popular?
- 5:38>> Little Tony. Yeah, I know Lil Tony.
- 5:39>> Yeah, I like him.
- 5:40>> I love Little Tony. That's my boy.
- 5:42>> He's a good dude.
- 5:42>> Yeah,
- 5:43>> he's a really good dude. Little Tony.
- 5:44Yep. That's my guy.
- 5:46>> He found Jesus not too long ago.
- 5:48>> Wait, were you doing were you doing
- 5:50something with him and he was talking
- 5:51about like um
- 5:53>> the dude on the mountain?
- 5:54>> Yeah.
- 5:54>> Yeah, that was our podcast. That was our
- 5:56podcast.
- 5:57>> That's why that's why I was like he
- 5:58looks so familiar. That's what it was. I
- 6:00was just watching that cuz it tweaked me
- 6:02out. I'm like what? I hope I don't have
- 6:04one of those instead right there.
- 6:06>> Oh, heck no, dude.
- 6:07>> I don't want I don't want a little ton.
- 6:09That's that crazy.
- 6:10>> I know. It's really crazy.
- 6:12>> You know what's even crazier? I 100%
- 6:15believe him.
- 6:15>> Oh, it's no doubt real. What he was
- 6:17saying was no doubt real.
- 6:18>> I'm like, whoa.
- 6:20>> A three-seater McLaren.
- 6:21>> He said they pulled up to the mountain.
- 6:23I'm like, what? I'm like, no, [laughter]
- 6:26no, no. That's crazy.
- 6:33>> Y'all want to go see?
- 6:34>> Yeah, we can go see.
- 6:35>> Come on,
- 6:37bro.
- 6:37>> We'll follow you.
- 6:38>> Come on.
- 6:39>> That's so funny. He's like, "Y'all want
- 6:40to go see?" There's like eight cop cars
- 6:42that [laughter] go by. So, what do you
- 6:43do on a day-to-day basis?
- 6:45>> I really like
- 6:47workout like deep. I don't know
- 6:50what they are.
- 6:52>> And what happens if we walk that way?
- 6:53Like it just keeps going.
- 6:55>> No, this the it's really this the last
- 6:56building. The ratio of Muslim is higher
- 6:59than ratio of Christian my friend. Yes.
- 7:02Mostly all my friends are Muslim except
- 7:04for like
- 7:06I think count five.
- 7:07>> I think it's
- 7:08>> dude. I mean those are the people I like
- 7:10talking to. I like talking to the
- 7:11non-Christians. So, if you know anyone
- 7:12that'll sit down with me, I'd love to do
- 7:14it. How's it going, bro? I'm Bryce.
- 7:16>> Nice to meet you.
- 7:17>> Money.
- 7:18>> You grew up here?
- 7:20>> Yeah.
- 7:20>> How old are you?
- 7:21>> I'm 24.
- 7:22>> 24. Cool. I'm 22. Um, I'm from Georgia
- 7:26originally.
- 7:27>> What part of Georgia?
- 7:28>> Carterville. It's north of Atlanta.
- 7:30About an hour.
- 7:31>> Little Tony, too. He was
- 7:32>> Oh, you know, Little Tony Tony.
- 7:33>> Yeah, I like that little we we we had
- 7:35him in on my podcast. He was talking
- 7:37about like uh going up on the mountain
- 7:39and the dudes. Did you ever see that
- 7:40video?
- 7:41>> It was a video of Little Tony talking
- 7:42about like he was going on a like they
- 7:44was trying to the devil was trying to
- 7:45get him.
- 7:45>> Well, when he was in jail or something?
- 7:47>> No,
- 7:48>> no, before.
- 7:49>> I got to find a video cuz I I remember
- 7:50sending the video out.
- 7:51>> Oh, we'll send it to Shoe Box and he'll
- 7:53have send it to you. It was crazy. He
- 7:54like went up to do a photo shoot in LA
- 7:56at the top of a mountain and this dude
- 7:57had a three-seater McLaren. It's like a
- 7:59$13 million car. Gets little Tony in the
- 8:02car and is trying to take him back
- 8:04somewhere that he doesn't know where
- 8:06he's going. and uh said he looked at the
- 8:08dude and his eyes like transformed into
- 8:11like demon eyes and then he jumped out
- 8:13of the car and like jumped in the back
- 8:15of the uh the male dude's car and the
- 8:17male dude like took him down the
- 8:18mountain cuz he had no service on his
- 8:19phone.
- 8:20>> Is that what he said?
- 8:21>> That's what he said. That's the short
- 8:23story.
- 8:23>> You got the video.
- 8:25>> Yeah, I believe it. Are you a Christian?
- 8:27>> Yeah.
- 8:28>> What do you believe in?
- 8:30>> I believe in everything for a reason.
- 8:33>> Uh-huh. What about Jesus? What do you
- 8:34think about Jesus?
- 8:37Yeah,
- 8:38that be I know God is real though. God
- 8:41be I be talking to God. God be God be
- 8:44putting his type of battle mean tougher
- 8:46soldier through battles that you know he
- 8:48be I don't know how to explain though he
- 8:50be looking up I ain't going to say
- 8:52looking up like he be getting people he
- 8:54give me a lot of chances like a lot of
- 8:56chance like every time I went through
- 8:57something I talk to God he'll give me
- 8:59another chance like he'll probably take
- 9:00his little time but he'll give me
- 9:01another chance. Yeah, for sure.
- 9:03>> I'm going just make example like when I
- 9:04was in jail like when I was right act
- 9:07crazy. I want to think about God like
- 9:08soon as I get in God I hope I bless me
- 9:12at court. Bless me at court. God
- 9:14probably took a little time. He blessed
- 9:16me though. Like at the long hand like
- 9:18outcome I really supposed to God way
- 9:19more. But God I know God real though.
- 9:21>> Yeah. I always ask
- 9:22>> I work in mystery ways though.
- 9:23>> I ask people this like if you were to
- 9:25die right now on a scale of 1 to 10, 10
- 9:27being absolutely certain, one being not
- 9:30certain at all. How confident would you
- 9:32be that you'd go to heaven?
- 9:33>> Like a 10.
- 9:36>> Like being an honest like seven.
- 9:39>> A seven?
- 9:40>> Yeah.
- 9:40>> Why a seven?
- 9:41>> Because I ain't cuz I ain't going to say
- 9:43like I'm like a fulltime Christian. Like
- 9:46I still be have my way, you know?
- 9:48>> Yeah. The reason I asked that question
- 9:50is because if you say you're seven,
- 9:51right? Would you say that Jesus only
- 9:53died for 70% of your mistakes? Like the
- 9:55Bible would say that Jesus died for all
- 9:57of our mistakes, right? I love how you
- 9:59said that you're not a full-time
- 10:00Christian. The Bible talks about
- 10:01lukewarmness and the Bible would
- 10:03describe lukewarmness as Satan owns the
- 10:05fence, right? Like I lived a large part
- 10:07of my life where I wanted to sit on the
- 10:08fence. I grew up in church. I went to a
- 10:10private Christian school and I sat on
- 10:12the fence where I was like I got just
- 10:13enough of Jesus where I felt okay, but I
- 10:15also got just enough of the stuff that I
- 10:17wanted. And I thought that's how I
- 10:18wanted to live my life. And that the
- 10:19Bible would say that the devil owns the
- 10:21fence because he tries to trick us into
- 10:23thinking, "Oh man, you're doing enough."
- 10:24And that's what it's like. Anyways, when
- 10:25I was 17, I was going to take my life
- 10:27one night. And the night I was going to
- 10:28take my life, I went to Waffle House for
- 10:30my last meal and I had a supernatural
- 10:32encounter with Jesus and he stopped me
- 10:34from taking my life. I've never done
- 10:35drugs or alcohol before. So, I knew I
- 10:37wasn't hallucinating or anything. And
- 10:38so, I just prayed this prayer. I said,
- 10:39"Jesus, if you're real, take away my
- 10:41anxiety and depression." And I haven't
- 10:42had it since that day. It's been over 5
- 10:44years. So, that was like my foot in the
- 10:45door. You know, if Jesus is God and he's
- 10:47got a million things going on, why would
- 10:48he stop me from taking my life? You
- 10:50know, then I think that's super
- 10:52intentional and that's how God feels
- 10:53about you, you know? And so it's like,
- 10:54you know, right here, like if me and you
- 10:56were going to the Chicago Bulls game and
- 10:57I had two courtside tickets and I gave
- 11:00you the tickets and I was like, "Hey,
- 11:01here's two courtside tickets. You and
- 11:02you and Box, you guys can go to the
- 11:04game." You guys are going to go in, scan
- 11:05the ticket, walk downstairs, and you're
- 11:07all going to get to the court side. And
- 11:08the security guy's going to stop you.
- 11:09And he's going to say, "Well Tony, why
- 11:10should I let you in?" And you're going
- 11:12to say, "Well, well, I got tickets,
- 11:13>> right?"
- 11:14>> And he's going to say, "Well, how'd you
- 11:15get the tickets?" And you were going to
- 11:16say, "Well, they were a gift. Bryce gave
- 11:18them to me." And it's like, in the same
- 11:19way, I don't get to stand before he and
- 11:21think, "Well, God, you know, I made some
- 11:22mistakes, but I did some good things."
- 11:23It's like, "Look at my good record.
- 11:24Don't look at my bad." God's like,
- 11:26"Actually, scratch that. It's not about
- 11:27what you can do. It's about what I did,
- 11:29right?" And so, his gift to us is that
- 11:31he paid the price for all of our
- 11:33mistakes. You know, it doesn't make
- 11:34sense. Like, imagine going to court and
- 11:36having your sentence read, but like you
- 11:37get to walk away with a clean record and
- 11:39somebody else does the time. That
- 11:41doesn't make any sense. But that's what
- 11:43the gospel is is Jesus did the time for
- 11:45you so that we can be in eternity with
- 11:47him. I hate that burden of like feeling,
- 11:50you know, I understand what you mean,
- 11:51like feeling guilty and feeling shameful
- 11:53and things like that. Nobody's perfect,
- 11:54man. I'm a walking billboard of
- 11:56mistakes, but it's grace that gets us
- 11:58through it. It's his grace that fuels
- 12:00us, you know. Love's a powerful
- 12:02language. I'd love to pray for you. Can
- 12:03I pray for you? Is that cool? Can I put
- 12:05a hand on your shoulder? Is that cool?
- 12:07Yeah. Jesus, thank you so much for T-
- 12:08Money, God. Thank you for his life.
- 12:09Thank you for his heart, God. I mean,
- 12:11it's so evident that he knows who you
- 12:12are, but we don't just want to know you.
- 12:14We want to follow you, and we want to
- 12:15give our lives towards you. Um, so Lord
- 12:17Jesus, would you just bless him,
- 12:19continue to speak to him, God, would you
- 12:20give him the strength to continue to
- 12:21follow you, um, and God to remind him
- 12:24every day that you've paid for 100% of
- 12:26our wrongdoing. Not just seven, 70%, but
- 12:29100%. Lord, we love you. We thank you in
- 12:31Jesus name. Amen.
- 12:32>> Amen.
- 12:33>> Come on, man. Full of grace today. Full
- 12:35of grace. Full of grace.
- 12:38>> What do you think about Jesus?
- 12:39>> Yeah. You
- 12:40>> Yeah, I love Jesus.
- 12:41>> You love Jesus?
- 12:42>> Yeah, it is.
- 12:42>> You believe in Jesus?
- 12:43>> Yes.
- 12:44>> You born here? You raised here? No, I
- 12:46know boy.
- 12:46>> Where you from?
- 12:48>> About a week.
- 12:49>> Okay. And how long have you lived here?
- 12:52>> About two years.
- 12:52>> Two years. Cool. Cool. Are you having a
- 12:55good time? Are you enjoying it?
- 12:56>> Yeah.
- 12:56>> Well, bro, I mean, how long have you
- 12:58been following Jesus? What's Jesus done
- 12:59in your life?
- 13:00>> I've been following Jesus every day.
- 13:02>> Yeah.
- 13:03>> Yeah. If you were to die right now, on a
- 13:04scale of 1 to 10, 10 being absolutely
- 13:07certain, one being not certain at all,
- 13:09how confident would you be that you
- 13:10would go to heaven?
- 13:11>> I believe I'll go to heaven.
- 13:12>> Come on. Why would you go to heaven? Cuz
- 13:15y'all be up there, man. They dead.
- 13:17>> Oh,
- 13:18>> yeah.
- 13:18>> It's because of what Jesus did for us,
- 13:20you know, what he's done for the on the
- 13:21cross and dying and resurrecting. It's
- 13:24because of his sacrifice. You know, we
- 13:26need Jesus now more than ever in this
- 13:27country, right? There's a lot of
- 13:28brokenness and hopelessness. So, we need
- 13:30him more now than ever.
- 13:31>> Amen.
- 13:32>> Amen.
- 13:32>> That's why we need guys like you. Keep
- 13:34being a light.
- 13:35>> Keep loving Jesus. We need you to smile
- 13:37more often. We need to see that smile,
- 13:38man. I like it.
- 13:40>> She used to wake me up every day.
- 13:41>> Come on, man. That's what I'm talking
- 13:43about.
- 13:43>> Yeah. Breath is a gift from God, too. We
- 13:45just forget about it.
- 13:46>> Yeah.
- 13:47>> Yeah. I appreciate you, man.
- 13:49>> Thank you. Can I pray for you?
- 13:50>> Yeah.
- 13:51>> Jesus, thank you so much for Kenneth.
- 13:52God, thank you for his life and thank
- 13:53you for his heart. God, would you just
- 13:54bless him and keep him, Lord? Would you
- 13:56continue to speak to him? God, thank you
- 13:58that you're using him to be a light.
- 13:59God, we love you. Thank you in Jesus
- 14:01name. Amen.
- 14:01>> Amen.
- 14:02>> Nice to meet you, brother.
- 14:03>> What's your name?
- 14:04>> I don't got no name. I don't want to be
- 14:05on camera.
- 14:06>> Okay, you're good. I'm just introducing
- 14:07myself. What's your name?
- 14:08>> Too much.
- 14:09>> Too much.
- 14:10>> Nice to meet you. You doing good?
- 14:11>> Yep. You doing good?
- 14:12>> Yeah, bro. I'm doing good
- 14:13>> for sure.
- 14:14>> It's a nice day outside.
- 14:16>> For sure.
- 14:16>> Do y'all pretty much know everyone in
- 14:18here? I was about to say every time we
- 14:19walk around, Box knows literally
- 14:20everyone that walks by. Even outside, he
- 14:22knows everybody. You know Box, too?
- 14:24>> Mm- I don't know who that is.
- 14:25>> You don't know Box right there?
- 14:26>> Who is that?
- 14:27>> You're lying. You're lying, bro. Get out
- 14:29of here. He couldn't even keep a
- 14:31straight face. He's cracking a grin
- 14:33trying to lie. You're the worst liar
- 14:34I've ever met in my life. [laughter]
- 14:37>> If they around, you think they don't
- 14:39know?
- 14:39>> Hey, I'm just wondering.
- 14:40>> I know shorty right there. I never even
- 14:42seen him before, but I know him.
- 14:44>> Hey, I grew up in a small town, but we
- 14:45didn't know everybody. I was just
- 14:47wondering. Hey, what do you think about
- 14:48Jesus?
- 14:49>> Jesus?
- 14:50I don't know, brother. Can't be talking.
- 14:52I don't know.
- 14:53>> Well, do you believe in God? Do you have
- 14:54a faith or anything?
- 14:56>> Most definitely.
- 14:59You know that.
- 15:00>> What do you believe in?
- 15:01>> What you mean? What you just said?
- 15:03>> You believe in Jesus?
- 15:04>> God, it's everything the same. Yeah, I
- 15:07believe in everything. Yes, I believe in
- 15:10everything.
- 15:11What does that mean? Like what does that
- 15:12look like for you?
- 15:13>> What you mean, brother?
- 15:16>> Well, the reason why I talk about Jesus,
- 15:17I think everyone universally knows like
- 15:19the name of Jesus. You know, that name
- 15:21has power. And so if you say the name of
- 15:23Jesus, you know, the Muslim will say,
- 15:24"Well, he's just a prophet. He's just a
- 15:25teacher." You know, the the Buddhist
- 15:27will say, "Ah, he had some he had some
- 15:28good stuff. He was just a dude." But
- 15:30>> my hands up, brother. I don't know
- 15:32anything about that.
- 15:33>> Really? Does it not make you curious?
- 15:34All right, let me ask you.
- 15:35>> Myself, yeah, I'll be thinking like that
- 15:37by myself. But when another mother asks
- 15:40me questions like that, I don't know.
- 15:41>> Okay. Well, what do you think happens
- 15:42when we die?
- 15:43>> I don't know. I'll be asking myself
- 15:45that. I don't.
- 15:46>> Yeah. Does that not scare you or
- 15:47anything or
- 15:48>> really, dude? I asked myself those
- 15:50questions all the time. I was telling T
- 15:51money I I grew up I grew up with
- 15:53depression and anxiety. I had it for
- 15:54years. And I went to Christian school. I
- 15:56grew up in church. Didn't mean anything
- 15:58to me though. I just I just went to
- 15:59Christian school. And when I was 17, I
- 16:01was going to take my life. And then I
- 16:03was going to take my life out of
- 16:04supernatural encounter with Jesus. Stop
- 16:06me from taking my life. And so I cried
- 16:07out to Jesus. I said, "Jesus, if you're
- 16:09real, take away my anxiety and
- 16:10depression." And I haven't had it since
- 16:11that day. It's been over 5 years.
- 16:13>> How old you is?
- 16:14>> I'm 22. So that was my foot in the door.
- 16:16I was 17. And so if you find Jesus,
- 16:18right, and he's the answer to the
- 16:20suffering and the sin of the world. It's
- 16:21like, why would you hide him? You know,
- 16:23you would want to be bold and be like,
- 16:24"Yo, I I think I found the answer to
- 16:26life itself, purpose, personality.
- 16:28>> Somebody found me."
- 16:29>> Huh?
- 16:29>> Do you think somebody found you?
- 16:31>> No. I think Jesus met me. That's where
- 16:33he found me.
- 16:33>> Touch. You know, the Bible says he
- 16:35created all things. So, he created you,
- 16:37he created me, he created all this. But
- 16:39my my personal take with with
- 16:40Christianity as a whole is Jesus is the
- 16:42only God out of any religion that comes
- 16:45down and meets human beings where
- 16:46they're at. Every other religion is,
- 16:48hey, you're broken. Figure it out. Work
- 16:49your way to perfection. Do enough good
- 16:51stuff and then you'll figure it out. But
- 16:53Jesus is perfection and he came down
- 16:55from heaven. And so, he lived in the
- 16:57same suffering world we lived in. Jesus
- 16:58was sold out by friends. Judas sold him
- 17:00out for 30 for 30 shekels of silver. I
- 17:03mean, he was spit on, gossiped about,
- 17:04people tried to stone him to death. So,
- 17:06if anyone knows suffering as a out of
- 17:08God of out of all religions, it'd be
- 17:09Jesus. You know, I don't like it if
- 17:11somebody tries to tell me how to live my
- 17:12life and they do the total opposite.
- 17:14You, you know,
- 17:16>> that's how it should be sometimes.
- 17:18>> It is. Look, man, I'd love to pray for
- 17:20you.
- 17:21>> Come on. I need that.
- 17:22>> Can I pray for you?
- 17:24>> Can I put a hand on your shoulder? Is
- 17:25that cool?
- 17:26>> Yeah.
- 17:26>> Cool. All right. Jesus, thank you so
- 17:28much for my friend, God. Thank you
- 17:29[music] for too much, God. Would you
- 17:30just move in his life, Lord? Would you
- 17:32reveal yourself to him? Would your love
- 17:33just overwhelm him? Peace and joy from
- 17:36heaven. God, would you grip his heart?
- 17:38Use him in a mighty way. Um Lord, bless
- 17:40him and keep him. Would your face shine
- 17:41upon him? Jesus name. Amen.
- 17:44>> Amen.
- 17:44>> Easy, bro. Hey, Jesus didn't claim to be
- 17:46a way. He claimed to be the way, the
- 17:48truth. You know,
- 17:50>> that there's only one God that's alive,
- 17:52and that's Jesus.
- 17:54>> That's alive.
- 17:55>> That's alive.
- 17:56>> Alive.
- 17:57>> Alive and real.
- 17:58>> They alive.
- 17:59>> Jesus. Yeah, he's alive.
- 18:03>> He's real. He rose from the dead three
- 18:04days later after being crucified
- 18:06publicly. 500 people saw him.
- 18:08>> You believe that?
- 18:09>> Absolutely. Do you believe World War II
- 18:11happened?
- 18:12>> Oh, hell yeah.
- 18:13>> Why? You didn't see it? There's a lot of
- 18:15people that saw it and they recorded it.
- 18:17Same thing
- 18:18>> happened.
- 18:18>> But ain't nobody sees
- 18:21>> God coming from,
- 18:22>> you know, we have more evidence that
- 18:24Jesus was a real dude than we do
- 18:26Alexander the Great.
- 18:27>> Who you talking about? Alexander the
- 18:29Great.
- 18:30>> The Great. Who was that?
- 18:31>> He's a historian back in the day. We
- 18:33have like non-Christian historians,
- 18:34people that had no rhyme or reason to
- 18:36prove that Jesus was real. Non-Christian
- 18:38historians writing that Jesus was real.
- 18:40He was a man of his word. He lived a
- 18:42life. He died. Now, if they're not
- 18:44Christian, they're not going to say he
- 18:45rose from the dead. But it says that the
- 18:46tomb was empty. Cornelius, Tacitus,
- 18:48Josephus, Ply the Winy. These guys, they
- 18:51they wrote about it. You know, the same
- 18:52way we know World War II happened. Same
- 18:54way we know Civil War happened. The same
- 18:56way we know how the Constitution was
- 18:58formed. We weren't there, but there were
- 19:00people that recorded it. And that's what
- 19:02the Bible is, man. It's it's a history
- 19:04book. Transcendent piece of literature.
- 19:05It's impacted people before us, impacts
- 19:07us today, and will continue to impact
- 19:09people.
- 19:10>> What do you think about Jesus? Do you
- 19:12believe in Jesus? You go with uh Pastor
- 19:14Brooks?
- 19:15>> No, I go to church. I would.
- 19:16>> Okay. Cool. Cool. Cool. I don't know. I
- 19:18don't know his name, but no name.
- 19:20>> Does he That's just his name. No name.
- 19:23Does no name believe in Jesus?
- 19:24>> Yeah. Dang. Shoe box was lying. He said
- 19:27there's more people that claim to follow
- 19:28Jesus in here than he told me. I asked
- 19:30all these guys if they follow Jesus.
- 19:31He's like, "Yeah, I follow Jesus."
- 19:32"Yeah, I follow Jesus." You told me that
- 19:34there weren't that many in here.
- 19:35>> No, it's a lot of a lot of Muslims here.
- 19:38>> Oh, where the Muslims at? I want to be a
- 19:40Muslim.
- 19:40>> Why do you want to be a Muslim?
- 19:43[laughter]
- 19:45>> Wait, why do you want to be a Muslim?
- 19:46>> I don't know. I want to do that.
- 19:49>> You do want to do it?
- 19:50>> Yeah. Hell yeah.
- 19:51>> You know, you know Muhammad was a
- 19:52pedophile. They ain't got with me.
- 19:54>> Muhammad.
- 19:55>> Who was that?
- 19:56>> Muhammad, the prophet of Islam.
- 19:57>> Oh,
- 19:58>> he was a pedophile. You know, in jail,
- 20:00they killed dudes that do that. Muhammad
- 20:01was a straight pedophile. I'm not even
- 20:03kidding. In the hadiths, he married a
- 20:05six-year-old and had sex with her when
- 20:06she was nine. It's in Sar Alkari, Hadith
- 20:0951.
- 20:10>> You went to college?
- 20:11>> Well, I do it online, but no, I I didn't
- 20:13go in person. I I do it on the computer
- 20:15now, but
- 20:16>> I became a Christian when I was a junior
- 20:17and then I just
- 20:18>> followed it.
- 20:19>> Started following Jesus. Man,
- 20:20>> that's just a passion for some people.
- 20:22What? Christianity. Well, like if you go
- 20:24out of the country, right? That's like
- 20:25one thing I respect about Muslims is
- 20:27it's like culture, you know?
- 20:28>> You heard what you said. If you go out
- 20:29of the country, that's if somebody go
- 20:31out the country, everybody don't do that
- 20:33type of
- 20:33>> Well, here Christianity is just a label,
- 20:36you know? It's like it's like a brand on
- 20:37that on on your sweatshirt. But that's
- 20:39not what the Bible would say about
- 20:40following Jesus. The Bible would say
- 20:41it's a lifestyle. You know, we should
- 20:43live it out. You know, if I if I said I
- 20:45was a Christian, but I was cussing
- 20:46people out and I was cheating on my wife
- 20:48and I was doing all that other stuff,
- 20:49then you would be like, "Oh, he's not a
- 20:50Christian." You know what I mean?
- 20:52>> You could do that though.
- 20:53>> No, not necessarily.
- 20:54>> You're not supposed to, but you could do
- 20:55that.
- 20:56>> Who said
- 20:57>> you could do whatever you want?
- 20:58>> You're right. We have free will. But if
- 20:59you follow Jesus, right? If I follow
- 21:01Jesus, I'm trusting that Jesus's way is
- 21:03better than how I feel. Does that make
- 21:05sense? So like I get angry at a lot of
- 21:06people.
- 21:07>> Can't think like that.
- 21:08>> Well, imagine like this. If I follow
- 21:09Jesus, right, and T- Money, for example,
- 21:11he made me angry. My human response
- 21:13would be, well, I want to get angry
- 21:15back, right? But the Bible would say,
- 21:16and Jesus would say, if someone has done
- 21:18you wrong, you don't do wrong back to
- 21:20them. And that's not what society
- 21:21teaches.
- 21:22>> And so you're trusting that if you
- 21:23believe that Jesus is God and he created
- 21:26all things and he has always existed and
- 21:28Jesus is the standard, then you are
- 21:29trusting that his way is better than our
- 21:31way. Cuz I've only lived 22 years. God
- 21:33has always existed. So I'm trusting that
- 21:35he knows better than I do.
- 21:36>> You know, same way you listen, you
- 21:38listen to people older than you, you
- 21:39know, cuz they've done more life and
- 21:41you're trusting that they know better
- 21:42than we do. You know, when I was growing
- 21:43up, I wanted to eat ice cream every
- 21:45morning for breakfast and my parents
- 21:46wouldn't let me and I thought that they
- 21:48were just being mean. But if I would
- 21:49have ate ice cream every morning, I
- 21:50might have had diabetes. I might have
- 21:51had some health issues. You know what I
- 21:53mean? So, same way. But the Bible says
- 21:55in Romans 6, so now that Jesus has
- 21:57forgiven us, does that mean we can go do
- 21:59whatever we want? And it says absolutely
- 22:01not. That's abusing God's grace. That's
- 22:03like if I punched you in the face right
- 22:04now and I said, "Oh, bro, I'm so sorry.
- 22:06I didn't mean to do that." You'd
- 22:07probably be like, "All right, whatever."
- 22:08But then if I kept punching you in the
- 22:09face and apologizing over and over, at
- 22:11some point you'd be like, "Okay, Bryce
- 22:12isn't sorry. He doesn't care." Same
- 22:14thing with God. We need to put our money
- 22:16where our mouth is. Sometimes we
- 22:17actually need to live it out. So that's
- 22:18why the Bible says it costs something to
- 22:20follow Jesus. You know, sometimes it
- 22:21costs our preferences. Sometimes it
- 22:23costs the things that are comfortable to
- 22:24us, but it's worth it in the end. You
- 22:26know,
- 22:27>> we have them thoughts on phone.
- 22:28>> What's what's stopping you from going
- 22:30all in then?
- 22:31>> I can't say that. I can't say it. Well,
- 22:35if you know, you know. That's all I'm
- 22:36going to say. If you know, you will
- 22:38know.
- 22:38>> Well, you know, transparency leads to
- 22:40transformation. You know, vulnerability
- 22:42isn't weakness. Jesus said, "Blessed are
- 22:44the pure in heart, for they shall see
- 22:45God." And actually he said, "Blessed are
- 22:47the poor in spirit, for theirs is the
- 22:49kingdom of heaven." Aka, blessed are
- 22:51those who are spiritually bankrupt and
- 22:52need someone outside of themselves to
- 22:54save them. And so, you know, if you want
- 22:55something you've never had, sometimes
- 22:56you got to do something you never done.
- 22:58What's What's stopping you from going
- 22:59all in?
- 23:02>> I can't say that.
- 23:04>> Mistakes or
- 23:06>> That's one of them. But I don't even be
- 23:09making mistakes no more. So, it's really
- 23:11It's just me. It's me. It's just me,
- 23:15folk.
- 23:16>> Like, what? You just You just You want
- 23:18to make the change or you don't want to
- 23:20make the change?
- 23:20>> Yeah, I do.
- 23:23I I'm not doing it.
- 23:24>> Are you afraid of maybe what other
- 23:26people will think of you or
- 23:27>> Oh, hell no.
- 23:30I just I don't know.
- 23:33A lot of going on.
- 23:34>> Mhm.
- 23:36>> That's how
- 23:38a lot of brokenness and suffering.
- 23:40>> You can say that somewhat.
- 23:41>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 23:42>> I ain't going to say broken though cuz I
- 23:44ain't broken.
- 23:45>> No, no, not like that financially. I
- 23:47mean,
- 23:47>> I'm saying broken. I ain't broken.
- 23:50>> Yeah,
- 23:50>> bro. I know what you mean.
- 23:51>> Yeah, man. I mean, look, there's nothing
- 23:52like that you can intellectually
- 23:54believe. I I can't just like conjure up
- 23:56logic in my brain and go, "Oh, yeah, now
- 23:58I'mma believe in God." You know that the
- 24:00Bible says it's a heart issue. You know,
- 24:02but the beauty of it is is the free
- 24:04gifts on the table to anyone that wants
- 24:05it. And so, look, man, like I'm a
- 24:08Christian, but I I you know, I think
- 24:10that's the beauty of it is like I'm
- 24:11still broken, you know? I I have a hard
- 24:13time sometimes. I I still get hurt by
- 24:15things.
- 24:16>> You know what I mean? And so, that keeps
- 24:18me humble and relying on God knowing
- 24:20that that knowing that I'm broken and
- 24:21stuff like that. I The reason why I like
- 24:23talking about it is cuz I want you to
- 24:24experience the blessings I've
- 24:26experienced following Jesus. You know
- 24:27what I mean? I want you to be able to
- 24:28reap these benefits and blessings of
- 24:30knowing God. It's more than just like
- 24:32religion. Mhm.
- 24:33>> Like, yes, Christianity is a religion,
- 24:35but Jesus is alive. He's real.
- 24:37>> Is a religion.
- 24:38>> Yeah, Christianity is. It is.
- 24:39>> I can say I'm a Christian, though.
- 24:41>> How so?
- 24:42>> I go to church. I don't read the Bible
- 24:44no more, but I go to church.
- 24:46>> Yo, let me just show you this really
- 24:47quick. Exactly what you're saying. Jesus
- 24:49talked about people who would say stuff
- 24:50like that. I'm serious.
- 24:51>> I don't know. That's why I don't know.
- 24:53>> Look, he says, "Not everyone who says to
- 24:55me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom
- 24:57of heaven." And then he jumps down and
- 24:58says, "Many people will come to me and
- 25:01say, All right, keep going. Keep going.
- 25:03>> On that day, so judgment day, like we
- 25:05believe one day we're going to stand
- 25:06before God and our lives and our actions
- 25:08and our words are going to testify
- 25:10against us. Meaning like I can't blame
- 25:11someone else for the mistakes I've done.
- 25:13He says, "Many will come to me and say,
- 25:14did we not prophesy in your name and
- 25:16cast out demons in your name and do many
- 25:18mighty works in your name?" So what it's
- 25:20saying is a bunch of people are going to
- 25:21come to Jesus and we'll say, "Well,
- 25:22look, I went to church every Sunday and
- 25:25I I helped the homeless man and I did a
- 25:27bunch of good stuff. Look at all the
- 25:29good stuff I did." And Jesus's response
- 25:31says, "I never knew you. Depart from me,
- 25:34you workers of lawlessness." So the
- 25:36issue,
- 25:36>> what that what that got to do with what
- 25:38I said? I said, I can say that. I didn't
- 25:41say I'm a I am a Christian.
- 25:43>> No, I know. I know. But being a
- 25:44Christian is more than just going to
- 25:46church.
- 25:46>> What is more to that?
- 25:48>> Being a Christian is following Jesus.
- 25:50And following Jesus doesn't always look
- 25:52like just going to church, right? Jesus
- 25:54is taking following God from a rulebook
- 25:56to a relationship. So this is what he
- 25:58does. He sums up following God by
- 26:00saying, "Love the Lord your God with
- 26:03your whole heart, soul, mind, and
- 26:04strength, right? And love your neighbor
- 26:06as yourself." So he says, "Love God with
- 26:08your whole heart and love people."
- 26:10Because when you begin to love God, you
- 26:11realize that God values everyone else
- 26:13the same way he values you despite the
- 26:15bank account number in their bank
- 26:16account, despite where they come from,
- 26:17what shoes they grew up in, things like
- 26:19that. And so he's saying it's more than
- 26:21just things that you do. Your love from
- 26:23God should fuel you to do those things.
- 26:24You don't do those things because you
- 26:26have to. Does that make sense? Like I
- 26:28don't go to church because I have to. I
- 26:30do it because I want to. Because I love
- 26:32Jesus. So it's deeper than just doing
- 26:34things. It's all pure love. That's why
- 26:36we came here. It's cuz we wanted to love
- 26:38on people, you know.
- 26:39>> Well, basically what you saying to be a
- 26:40Christian,
- 26:41>> you got to love.
- 26:42>> Mhm.
- 26:43>> I do love though.
- 26:45>> But you got to love the truth. Jesus
- 26:47says in John 14,
- 26:49>> the truth about what?
- 26:50>> Jesus. He says, "I am the way, the
- 26:52truth, and the life. No one comes to the
- 26:55father except through me." So eternal
- 26:57life, heaven, heaven is just infinite
- 27:00time with God.
- 27:01>> So being a follower,
- 27:02>> being a follower of Jesus, that's
- 27:04following the truth. Yep.
- 27:06>> But that's why we need this. And dude, I
- 27:08hate reading, bro. I hate reading.
- 27:10>> Somebody wrote that.
- 27:12>> Well, listen to this. 40 different
- 27:13authors wrote the 66 books in here over
- 27:16the course of 1500 years.
- 27:18>> And it had been a lot of different words
- 27:20and different writtens in that book.
- 27:23Well, not necessarily the transmission
- 27:25of scripture. We have thousands of
- 27:27manuscripts that we can look back that
- 27:29date back that date back to show that
- 27:30the the consistency of the narrative is
- 27:32true. So, we have thousands and
- 27:34thousands of manuscripts. The Bible was
- 27:36written in Greek, Hebrew, and a little
- 27:37bit of Aramaic. You ever heard of the
- 27:39Dead Sea Scrolls?
- 27:40>> No.
- 27:41>> Any of this stuff, it's just history
- 27:42about how why the Bible remains true.
- 27:44So, we have the documents to prove that
- 27:46what we have today is what they had
- 27:49thousands of years ago. Does that make
- 27:50sense? never had a knowledge or or or
- 27:53people ain't never told me or I never
- 27:55heard about the that being real
- 27:57like the Bible itself. I know God and
- 28:00the things that happen real but the
- 28:02Bible I don't think that I ain't
- 28:03going to say me but people can say that
- 28:05>> you don't think this is real.
- 28:06>> I didn't say me.
- 28:07>> Uh-huh. Yeah. I mean dude, there's a lot
- 28:09of people that don't think this is real.
- 28:10That's what that's what faith is. Faith
- 28:13is the assurance of things hoped for.
- 28:16The conviction of things unseen, the
- 28:18Bible would say. So, like faith is not
- 28:20like, you know, I I I I know that you're
- 28:22real because we're here and we, you
- 28:23know, we've touched and talked, but I I
- 28:25I can't grab God. I can't grab him.
- 28:28Faith is trust. I'm trusting that this
- 28:30is true and his way is great. I'm a
- 28:32Christian. I follow Jesus. So, if I die
- 28:34and I realize that Jesus is not real,
- 28:36nothing happens to me. But if I follow
- 28:39Jesus and I die and he is real, I gain
- 28:41everything. On the contrary,
- 28:43>> he is everything.
- 28:45>> He is everything. He is everything that
- 28:47we've looked for. If I choose not to
- 28:48follow Jesus and he is real, I'm
- 28:50separated from God for an eternity. I go
- 28:52to hell.
- 28:52>> What is hell?
- 28:54>> So hell is a justice system and a
- 28:56choice. So I've done wrong.
- 28:58>> People choose to go to hell.
- 29:00>> Everyone chooses to go to hell.
- 29:01>> How do you do that?
- 29:02>> Well, it's two different things, right?
- 29:04So like I've made mistakes, you've made
- 29:05mistakes. The same way that we have the
- 29:07American justice system is partially
- 29:10what hell is. We have to do time. You
- 29:12know, if I killed someone and the police
- 29:14arrested me and then took me to go get
- 29:16coffee and donuts and let me slide,
- 29:18everyone would be really upset. I need
- 29:20to go to court. I need to be tried for
- 29:21my crimes and I need to do my time.
- 29:24>> You need to
- 29:25>> cuz that's justice, right? If I do
- 29:27something wrong, I should be punished.
- 29:29Now, the Bible would say
- 29:30>> all the time.
- 29:31>> All the time.
- 29:33>> All the time.
- 29:34>> Well, what do you mean by that?
- 29:36Every time you do something or whenever
- 29:38you did something bad or that wasn't
- 29:40good, you're supposed to get
- 29:43punished for that. Well, no. I'm I'm
- 29:45using that as an example here in real
- 29:47life, right? Like if I if I kill
- 29:48someone, if I murder someone, I'm going
- 29:50to go to court and they're going to say,
- 29:51"Hey, you did something wrong. You're
- 29:53going to go to jail and do time for
- 29:54murdering someone." Right? So, in the
- 29:56same way, we've all made mistakes and
- 29:58because of our mistakes, we have to do
- 30:01time for our mistakes. And so we would
- 30:03go to hell because we're sinners. We've
- 30:05made mistakes. Now Jesus says instead of
- 30:08you doing your time, you stand before a
- 30:10judge. They read your sentence. But
- 30:11imagine the judge says you walk away
- 30:13free. No record wrong. Somebody else is
- 30:16going to go to jail in your place. That
- 30:17doesn't make sense. But someone has to
- 30:19pay the price. And so Jesus came down
- 30:21from heaven on earth. He's the only one
- 30:23who lived a perfect life. He died on the
- 30:25cross. The most gruesome death ever
- 30:26recorded in human history.
- 30:28>> That it was recorded.
- 30:29>> It was recorded. The Bible says and
- 30:31historical documents, Jesus was beaten
- 30:34so bad he didn't even look like a human
- 30:35being. He was beaten 39 times with a
- 30:37whip that had nails and glass on it that
- 30:39would rip his skin off his back. And
- 30:41then he was nailed to a cross. He was
- 30:42crucified.
- 30:45But Jesus died. That was the whole
- 30:46purpose of his death was because someone
- 30:48had to pay the price.
- 30:49>> It happens to people.
- 30:51>> What do you mean that happens to people?
- 30:53people
- 30:55that look.
- 30:56>> But that's the beauty is like, you know,
- 30:57we've both made mistakes, but knowing
- 30:59that somebody else was willing to love
- 31:00us enough and give us something that we
- 31:03don't deserve is beautiful.
- 31:06>> You say that one more time.
- 31:07>> To know that like we've made mistakes,
- 31:09but we don't have to pay the punishment
- 31:11for our mistakes is beautiful. And so,
- 31:13hell is a justice system, but it's also
- 31:16a choice. The Bible says if we choose to
- 31:18follow Jesus and trust in Jesus,
- 31:20>> we know that though.
- 31:20>> Do we know that though? Well, we're
- 31:22trusting through the scriptures. I
- 31:23cannot 100% prove without the shadow of
- 31:26a doubt that Jesus Christ is God and
- 31:27he's real. I have to look at evidence,
- 31:29right?
- 31:30>> Where's the overwhelming amount of
- 31:32evidence? And the Bible and history
- 31:34would say that Jesus Christ being God
- 31:36has the most overwhelming amount of
- 31:38evidence pointing to it. And so if we
- 31:40trust in Jesus, he wipes our slate clean
- 31:42as if we've never done anything wrong.
- 31:44But if we choose not to follow Jesus, it
- 31:46breaks his heart. But we spend an
- 31:48eternity separate from him. So hell is
- 31:50also a place without God. I can believe
- 31:52that. How you say it, too. I could
- 31:54believe that.
- 31:55>> I don't know about you. I want the place
- 31:56where God's at.
- 31:59>> I really don't even care.
- 32:00>> Why not? Let me ask you this question.
- 32:03If God could do a miracle in your life
- 32:04right now, what would that be?
- 32:06>> A miracle.
- 32:06>> A miracle.
- 32:07>> What else?
- 32:08>> If he could do a miracle in your life,
- 32:10what would that be? Like, is there
- 32:11something that you need or want? Like,
- 32:12that's like if God did this for me,
- 32:14>> what would he be doing? The thing that I
- 32:16need that I want.
- 32:18>> The thing that you need. Like, you know,
- 32:19does is there a family member that's
- 32:21sick? Do you have pain in your body or
- 32:22you need help in this area? Like if God
- 32:25could do a miracle, what would that be?
- 32:26>> Listen, drop some more to me.
- 32:30>> Money.
- 32:30>> Oh yeah.
- 32:32>> Outside of money.
- 32:33>> I don't need or want anything else. All
- 32:36BBs.
- 32:37>> You said that last part.
- 32:39>> No, this a song.
- 32:40>> Okay.
- 32:40>> I wouldn't want nothing else though. I
- 32:42don't need
- 32:44>> When I was 18, I had a good job. I made
- 32:46a lot of money when I was 18 years old.
- 32:48I've had money. I've made mistakes with
- 32:50girls. I've done a bunch of stuff, but
- 32:52I'm telling you, dude, Jesus is greater
- 32:54than any dollar amount, any
- 32:55relationship, any any dopamine high.
- 32:58He's the best thing I've ever had.
- 33:00Having Jesus. Best thing I've ever had.
- 33:02>> I need Jesus.
- 33:03>> Oblak jersey swap. All right. Give me
- 33:06the shirt off your back. I'm just
- 33:08kidding. I'm just kidding. [laughter]
- 33:09>> Now, I got your number now. You can't
- 33:11run away from me now. I'm going to text
- 33:12you all the time. I'm going to start
- 33:13FaceTiming you randomly. Hey, you got
- 33:15that camera saying [laughter]
- 33:18he just told my you can't run away from
- 33:21>> How's it going? What's the weather my
- 33:23boy? I'm Bryce.
- 33:24>> This This a Muslim right here.
- 33:26>> Nice to meet you. Are you Muslim?
- 33:27>> How long you been Muslim?
- 33:28>> It to be a year.
- 33:29>> Really? Why are you Muslim?
- 33:30>> You said what?
- 33:31>> Yeah. What made you be a Muslim?
- 33:32>> Cuz man, I want to prepare for no
- 33:35questions. Okay.
- 33:37>> Oh no, bro. I'm I've been a Christian
- 33:39for 5 years. So I was 17. I'm from
- 33:41Georgia and uh I was going to take my
- 33:43life when I was 17. I went to Waffle
- 33:45House for my last meal. I had a
- 33:46supernatural encounter with Jesus. He
- 33:48stopped me from taking my life. And so
- 33:49that that was kind of like my foot in
- 33:51the door of, okay, if God is real, could
- 33:52it be Jesus? So, you've been like in it
- 33:54about a year.
- 33:55>> Yeah, I had to be a year. Just did my
- 33:57first Radar.
- 33:58>> I have a lot of respect for Muslims.
- 34:00Yeah. They pray more than a lot of
- 34:01Christians do. They give more than a lot
- 34:03of Christians do. I just have an issue.
- 34:05I have an issue with Muhammad.
- 34:07>> All right. You ready? I'm about to tell
- 34:08you something crazy. You know Muhammad
- 34:10was a pedophile. You know about that?
- 34:12>> Yeah. the hadiths. You know the hadiths?
- 34:15>> Yeah. Uh and
- 34:16>> you said I got just looking up online,
- 34:19>> bro. I'll show you right now.
- 34:20>> Mhm.
- 34:21>> You want to see this, bro? It'll blow
- 34:23your mind. Okay. This is Bikatti, which
- 34:26was Muhammad's best friend. He writes
- 34:28some of the most reliable hadiths. All
- 34:29right. This is 5134. The prophet married
- 34:32her when she was 6 years old and
- 34:35consummated his marriage when she was
- 34:36nine. You know what that means? He had
- 34:38sex with her when she was 9 years old.
- 34:40>> Yeah.
- 34:42>> Yeah. That's crazy.
- 34:44>> That's pretty crazy, right? Hey, I don't
- 34:46I don't follow pedophiles. I follow
- 34:48Jesus, man. That's who I follow.
- 34:49>> All right, bet. Now you say cool though.
- 34:51I'm going get up with you. My name Ctis.
- 34:53>> Nice to meet you, Cortis. I'm Bryce. God
- 34:54bless you, man.
- 34:56>> F [music]
- 34:57ain't afraid. It's a new crusade. This
- 34:59ain't no charade. Keep it safe.
- 35:03>> [music]
