1. 0:00everyone okay so today I'm going to be
2. 0:02showing you a demonstration but also my
3. 0:05thoughts so on these products so
4. 0:09QVC I still buy from QVC now I bought
5. 0:13Laura Gala balance in Brighton maybe oh
6. 0:17nearly 20 years ago perhaps still think
7. 0:20it's one of the best foundations it's a
8. 0:22powder but really a cream but also a
9. 0:24powder now they generally come looking
10. 0:26like this
11. 0:28and
12. 0:30this is the medium shade so I'm going to
13. 0:33give you the full demo the good and the
14. 0:37kind of slightly bad about this product
15. 0:38so I got these super sized ones from QVC
16. 0:43these contain 20 grams of product
17. 0:45compared to the nine grams that you see
18. 0:49here
19. 0:49so let me show you what it looks like so
20. 0:52this one here is the fair
21. 0:56now normally without a tan I'll talk to
22. 0:58you about the shade range in a sec I
23. 1:00would wear the fair I also got the light
24. 1:04which is here
25. 1:06and then there's the medium obviously
26. 1:08the medium tends to be the best seller
27. 1:10which looks like this now if I compare
28. 1:13the light and the medium together
29. 1:16so this is the light this is the medium
30. 1:20and if I compare the medium to the fair
31. 1:24so this is the fair
32. 1:26they all look very similar but they are
33. 1:29different the issue I've had with it is
34. 1:33that I would be the fair however the
35. 1:36fair without a tan is still too dark for
36. 1:39my skin but if I move to porcelain it's
37. 1:42way too light so there is discrepancies
38. 1:45in the color I think to me that fair to
39. 1:49me seems very very light in terms of
40. 1:51when I hear the word fair but
41. 1:54the fair here in Laurie gella is quite
42. 1:57it's much more of a light to sort of
43. 2:01almost a light medium I think but let me
44. 2:05show you what it looks I'm going to use
45. 2:06the medium
46. 2:07and I'm just going to buff this on to
47. 2:09clean skin
48. 2:11with nothing on it and I'm going to do
49. 2:14just this section I'll do one half of
50. 2:17the face to begin with
51. 2:19now what's great about this is It's a
52. 2:21cream that's baked and it becomes this
53. 2:24powder that you see here
54. 2:26it has good covering properties it
55. 2:30offers medium well light to medium
56. 2:32coverage that is definitely buildable I
57. 2:35don't find it to be particularly
58. 2:37um
59. 2:39problematic considering that it is a
60. 2:41powder but that's probably because it
61. 2:43has that cream properties to it so
62. 2:46that's just one side done it just evens
63. 2:49things out
64. 2:51and I'll buff it in here now because
65. 2:53these are quite forgiving
66. 2:56if you were to get the light
67. 2:59and you were medium you would be fine if
68. 3:01you were to get the medium and you were
69. 3:03liked you would be fine
70. 3:06but I would like a slightly more
71. 3:08accurate shade range
72. 3:10now
73. 3:11they do blushers which are so pretty but
74. 3:14very heavily shimmery they do a balance
75. 3:16and bronze which is amazing
76. 3:19they do lots of things I got these on
77. 3:21QVC you've got two of these for 80
78. 3:24pounds plus I think it was 80 pounds
79. 3:26plus a giant size spackle which is their
80. 3:29primer
81. 3:30um I bought a load of them I bought a
82. 3:33lot and then shortly after I bought them
83. 3:35they were suddenly the exact same price
84. 3:37but just for one
85. 3:38saying clearly people bought a lot
86. 3:42so I'm going to add some color to my
87. 3:45base because it's All Uniform at the
88. 3:47moment so it's summer so I'm gonna hit
89. 3:50it with exhibit a right in that Center
90. 3:54and then I'm just going to dip down
91. 3:58and get the highest point on my face
92. 4:02and then the bridge and the sides of the
93. 4:05nose and because this is a powder I'm
94. 4:08just going to blend it in with that
95. 4:09exact same brush
96. 4:12just so that it's uniform
97. 4:16do you love
98. 4:18color on the skin do very much
99. 4:21and that is a demonstration of what
100. 4:24balance and Brighton can do
101. 4:27it is
102. 4:29when it comes to mineral foundation
103. 4:32mineral foundation new by nature is my
104. 4:34favorite
105. 4:35probably followed by
106. 4:38Jane Iredell and Lily Lolo when it comes
107. 4:41to powder foundation
108. 4:43nothing beats to Laura Gala one because
109. 4:45it is a cream that becomes a powder so
110. 4:48you get the coverage but you don't get
111. 4:50that Ultra kind of matte look and this
112. 4:52is the original they do a glow version
113. 4:54which is nice but not my cup of tea I
114. 4:57don't feel comfortable wearing something
115. 5:00in the day that has a lot of Sparkle it
116. 5:02makes me feel self-conscious but if
117. 5:04you're looking for a more Illuminating
118. 5:05powder it certainly would work
119. 5:08but this is lovely I mean it's just
120. 5:11lovely and I really did buy a load of
121. 5:14these I bought four of each color
122. 5:18um and I bought four Lots I bought a lot
123. 5:20of it because I go through a lot of it
124. 5:22um I mean it's a really good finish it's
125. 5:25a lovely finish to the skin it's
126. 5:27brilliant I'll I'll leave a link or

129. 5:35a previous video or you may not have
130. 5:36seen it yet with a product called Tula

135. 5:48the Spackle is amazing it works really
