2. 0:01is as you get older and older with the
3. 0:04Bible, things get weirder and weirder.
4. 0:06What was the original story? Like if you
5. 0:08get to the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Dead
6. 0:10Sea Scrolls are bananas.
7. 0:11>> But that's not included in the canon, I
8. 0:13think.
9. 0:13>> Here's why. Because of rabbis that it
10. 0:15didn't align with the Torah. And so they
11. 0:16yanked it out, but it's an original
12. 0:18biblical text. When they found those
13. 0:20clay tablets, the Book of Enoch was in
14. 0:22there as along with the Book of Isaiah.
15. 0:24It's not just the giants, it's aliens.
16. 0:26It's about the watchers who came down
17. 0:28and mated with human beings and created
18. 0:30a race of giants called the Nephilim who
19. 0:33consumed and destroyed everything in
20. 0:36front of them. When they found it, they
21. 0:37also found a version of the Book of
22. 0:39Isaiah that is verbatim
23. 0:42the same as a version of Isaiah that was
24. 0:44a thousand years later which they
25. 0:46thought was the original. That's what's
26. 0:48crazy. For 1,000 years, they maintained
27. 0:52the exact same story verbatim, writing
28. 0:55it down and passing it on. And the Book
