- 1:35one of them is there is absolutely no
- 1:37evidence to support the statement that
- 1:38we're the greatest country in the world
- 1:40we're seventh in literacy 27th in math
- 1:4222nd in science 49th in life expectancy
- 1:46178th in infant mortality third in
- 1:48median household income number four in
- 1:50labor force and number four in exports
- 1:52we lead the world in only three
- 1:53categories number of incarcerated
- 1:55citizens per capita number of adults who
- 1:57believe angels are real and defense
- 1:59spending where we spend more than the
- 2:01next 26 countries combined 25 of whom
- 2:03are allies now none of this is the fault
- 2:05of a 20-year-old college student but you
- 2:07nonetheless are without a doubt a member
- 2:08of the worst period generation period
- 2:11ever period so when you ask what makes
- 2:13us the greatest country in the world I
- 2:15don't know what the [ __ ] you're talking
- 2:16about yede
- 2:31sure used to
- 2:33be we stood up for what was
- 2:36right we fought for moral reasons we
- 2:38passed laws struck down laws for moral
- 2:41reasons we waged Wars on poverty not
- 2:43poor
- 2:44people we sacrificed we cared about our
- 2:47neighbors we put our money where our
- 2:49mouths were and we never beat our chest
- 2:51we built great big things made ungodly
- 2:54technological advances explored the
- 2:56universe cured diseases we cultivated
- 3:00the world's greatest artists and the
- 3:01world's greatest
- 3:04economy we reached for the
- 3:08Stars acted like men we aspired to
- 3:12intelligence we didn't belittle it it
- 3:13didn't make us feel
- 3:16inferior we didn't identify ourselves by
- 3:18who we voted for in the last election
- 3:20and we didn't we didn't scare so
- 3:26easy we were able to be all these things
- 3:29and do all these things things because
- 3:30we were
- 3:32informed by great men men who were
- 3:37revered first step in solving any
- 3:39problem is recognizing there is
- 3:42one America is not the greatest country
- 3:45in the world
- 3:51anymore enough
