  1. 0:00A lot of women have told me that my
  2. 0:01husband is always out with his friends
  3. 0:02and I feel left behind. Learn the power
  4. 0:04of solitude. You will be attracting so
  5. 0:06much more in your life. A lot of money,
  6. 0:08wealth, a lot of peace, calmness, and
  7. 0:10also your partner's attention without
  8. 0:11even asking for it. The biggest fear
  9. 0:13most people have is not failure.
  10. 0:15It is not even rejection.
  11. 0:17It is not even embarrassment. The
  12. 0:19biggest fear for most of the human
  13. 0:21beings is being left alone. Left alone
  14. 0:24like being excluded. Being abandoned
  15. 0:27emotionally. Being isolated. And because
  16. 0:30of this fear, people stay in the wrong
  17. 0:31relationships, tolerate disrespect,
  18. 0:33suppress their opinions, and spend years
  19. 0:35people-pleasing. Not because they don't
  20. 0:37know better, but because they are
  21. 0:39terrified of being alone. And that fear
  22. 0:42silently steals their power.
  23. 0:45Jai Hind. Namaste sabhi ko. I'm Captain
  24. 0:47Ritu Kumar Singh, a former Indian Army
  25. 0:48officer, your confidence, communication,
  26. 0:50manners, and etiquette coach. And today
  27. 0:52I want to talk about one of the most
  28. 0:53powerful skills a human can ever
  29. 0:56develop. That is the ability to be alone
  30. 0:59without being lonely. Because the day
  31. 1:02you learn this skill, nobody can
  32. 1:04emotionally control you. Nobody can
  33. 1:06manipulate you using attention. And
  34. 1:08nobody can force you to stay where you
  35. 1:10do not belong. And when that happens,
  36. 1:12that would be real freedom. Now, before
  37. 1:14we go ahead, let's understand the
  38. 1:16difference between being alone and being
  39. 1:19lonely. Many people think that being
  40. 1:21alone and being lonely are the same
  41. 1:22thing. They are not. Loneliness is a
  42. 1:24feeling. Aloneness is a state. You can
  43. 1:27sit in a room full of people and still
  44. 1:29feel lonely. I have felt that multiple
  45. 1:31times. And you can sit by yourself in
  46. 1:33complete silence and feel completely
  47. 1:35fulfilled. The difference is simple.
  48. 1:37Loneliness says, "I need someone to
  49. 1:39complete me." Being alone says, "I am
  50. 1:42complete and I choose who gets access to
  51. 1:45my life." And that is a very, very
  52. 1:47different mindset. You know why people
  53. 1:49become easy to manipulate? Think about
  54. 1:50it. If your happiness depends entirely
  55. 1:53on another person, then that person
  56. 1:55controls your emotion. If your
  57. 1:57self-worth depends on someone texting
  58. 1:59you, then your mood is in their hands.
  59. 2:01If your beauty and confidence is
  60. 2:03dependent on someone else's compliments,
  61. 2:07and if you cannot spend a weekend by
  62. 2:08yourself, then you will tolerate things
  63. 2:10you should never tolerate. You will
  64. 2:13ignore red flags. You will compromise
  65. 2:14your values. You will shrink yourself to
  66. 2:16keep people around. Not because you're
  67. 2:18weak, but because your fear of isolation
  68. 2:20becomes stronger than your self-respect.
  69. 2:22You will always look for validation, and
  70. 2:25that is dangerous. Now, let me introduce
  71. 2:28you to something I call the law of
  72. 2:29productive solitude. When you have a
  73. 2:32meaningful purpose, a mission, a goal, a
  74. 2:35dream that excites you, you stop seeing
  75. 2:37solitude as punishment, and you start
  76. 2:40seeing it as a preparation. The athlete
  77. 2:42training before sunrise, the student
  78. 2:44studying while others are still
  79. 2:45scrolling, the entrepreneur building
  80. 2:47while others are partying, the artist
  81. 2:50creating while others are seeking
  82. 2:51validation. All of them spend time
  83. 2:53alone. Not because nobody wants them,
  84. 2:55but because greatness often requires
  85. 2:58solitude. But solitude is not running
  86. 3:00away from people. It is running towards
  87. 3:02your purpose, and there is a huge
  88. 3:04difference here. I started spending a
  89. 3:06lot of alone time when I was serving in
  90. 3:08the Indian Army. One thing that I
  91. 3:10learned during my years in the Army is
  92. 3:11that the strongest people are often
  93. 3:13comfortable in their own company. They
  94. 3:15can sit quietly, think clearly, make
  95. 3:17decisions independently. Of course,
  96. 3:19being social is very important for our
  97. 3:20development, but truly strong,
  98. 3:23confident, and powerful people do not
  99. 3:25constantly need validation or approval
  100. 3:27because they have built a strong
  101. 3:29relationship with themselves. And when
  102. 3:31you trust yourself, you stop desperately
  103. 3:33seeking permission from the world. So,
  104. 3:35build a life that excites you. Many
  105. 3:37people say that I don't want to be
  106. 3:39alone, but perhaps the real problem is
  107. 3:41that they have not built a life that
  108. 3:42they enjoy. Think about it. If you have
  109. 3:44exciting goals, books to read, skills to
  110. 3:46learn, fitness targets to achieve,
  111. 3:49dreams to chase, places to explore,
  112. 3:52travel the world, then being alone
  113. 3:53becomes an opportunity, not a
  114. 3:55punishment. The goal is to not isolate
  115. 3:57yourself. The goal is to become so
  116. 3:59connected to your purpose that your
  117. 4:00happiness is not dependent on constant
  118. 4:03company. Now, let me tell you a very
  119. 4:04powerful truth here, and it is
  120. 4:06absolutely true.
  121. 4:07People are attracted to those who are
  122. 4:09not desperate. People respect those who
  123. 4:11respect themselves. People value those
  124. 4:14who have a life beyond them. And the
  125. 4:16irony is this, that more afraid you are
  126. 4:18of losing people, the more power you
  127. 4:20give away.
  128. 4:22Your power is in your hands. The more
  129. 4:24comfortable you become with being alone,
  130. 4:25the stronger your relationships will
  131. 4:27also become. Because now you're choosing
  132. 4:29people from a place of abundance, not
  133. 4:31from a place of fear. So, if you have to
  134. 4:34take one lesson from today's video, let
  135. 4:36it be this. Master the art of being
  136. 4:38alone without being lonely. Learn to
  137. 4:39enjoy your own company, build a purpose
  138. 4:41bigger than your fears, develop skills,
  139. 4:43read books, train your body, strengthen
  140. 4:45your mind, create a life that excites
  141. 4:47you. Because when you genuinely enjoy
  142. 4:49your own company, you stop chasing
  143. 4:51validation, you stop begging for
  144. 4:52attention, you stop settling for less
  145. 4:54than what you deserve, and that is when
  146. 4:56your real power begins. Remember, being
  147. 4:58alone is not a weakness, being unable to
  148. 5:00be alone is. Before I wind up this
  149. 5:02video, a lot of women have told me that
  150. 5:04my husband is always out with his
  151. 5:05friends, and I feel left behind. But
  152. 5:07often after marriage, we slowly stop
  153. 5:09nurturing our own friendship, our own
  154. 5:11interests and goals and identity as a
  155. 5:12woman. Our world becomes limited to
  156. 5:14responsibilities and loneliness starts
  157. 5:16creeping in. But the truth is, the
  158. 5:17answer is not in controlling your
  159. 5:19partner's freedom, it's rebuilding your
  160. 5:21own. When you learn to enjoy your own
  161. 5:23company, pursue meaningful goals, and
  162. 5:24create a life that excites you beyond
  163. 5:26your roles as a wife or a mother, you
  164. 5:29stop feeling lonely and start
  165. 5:30experiencing solitude as a source of
  166. 5:32strength. The more fulfilled you are
  167. 5:34with yourself, the healthier and lighter
  168. 5:36your relationships become. Because
  169. 5:37you're no longer dependent on someone
  170. 5:39else to make your life feel complete.
  171. 5:41So, my dear ladies, learn the power of
  172. 5:44solitude, and trust me, you will be
  173. 5:46attracting so much more in your life, a
  174. 5:48lot of money, wealth, a lot of peace,
  175. 5:51calmness, and also your partner's
  176. 5:52attention without even asking for it.
  177. 5:54And that's how we learn how to live with
  178. 5:56power and eventually speak with power.
  179. 5:58Jai Hind, everyone. Namaste.
