13:02and nursing from UCF back in
13:072011 uh and that's my highest level okay
13:11what what is there any special uh
13:12Nursing degree what you do or uh I mean
13:15I have like other
13:16certifications um but uh I mean with
13:20that like I primarily worked in the
13:21hospital
13:23for I think five years five or six years
13:26and then I was pursuing a master's of
13:28Science and Nur anesthesia mhm um that
13:31was back in 2015 I believe okay um but
13:35then I didn't complete that and then I
13:36just went back to nursing and then when
13:38this
13:39whole like wrongful accusation of the
13:42grand theft charge that I told you about
13:43in the car when that happened uh I
13:46stopped working at the hospital and then
13:48that took like I don't think we I don't
13:50think we talked about that before oh oh
13:52well I had I was accused of Grand Theft
13:54for the third degree back
13:57in June of
13:592018 um that like went on for 6 months
14:04and during that time I obviously wasn't
14:05allowed to work because of it um and
14:08then where was that at Florida Hospital
14:10south the main one down in Orlando
14:12General Orange Avenue
14:14uh Rollins that's where it is Rollins
14:17okay um so when that happened obviously
14:20I was dismissed from that job and then I
14:23couldn't get another job because now you
14:24have a an outstanding felony chart on
14:26your name sure um so then I got the
14:28attorney all went through and then
14:30finally in
14:31December they posted on the Orange
14:33County clerk courts or whatever website
14:36where your where your file is that there
14:37was no evidence ever ever presented all
14:40the charges were dropped and now I'm
14:41just in the process of expunging that
14:43for my records
14:44but
14:46um because you know I can't keep just
14:49not working forever uh you know that was
14:52that was kind of a a topic around the
14:55house was you know I need to get started
14:56here right um who was your attorney for
14:59for that uh Lauren ly him Chapman
15:01Chapman Law Group okay they're I think
15:04that one's based in Sarasota okay
15:07um so then but they didn't really have
15:10to do anything attorney filing charges
15:12State Attorney didn't f file anything
15:14and then she just presented that she was
15:16going to be my attorney and that was the
15:17most work she ever had to do
15:19for
15:20um and then i' had been applying for
15:23jobs for the last couple weeks I'd
15:26gotten uh like three or four call backs
15:28mhm um and then I went on a job
15:29interview yesterday for a home infusion
15:32nurse job where where where was that at
15:35um that was with uh
15:39God AA
15:42AO is that like a staffing or is that a
15:46like a like a head hunter kind of job no
15:48no no no that's a that's like their
15:50actual company it's uh God why can I not
15:52remember the first name it's something
15:54scripts team Scripts
15:59where's the location uh it's out close

16:06Vista what time was your interview
16:07yesterday uh it was scheduled for 10:00
16:10I got there at around 9: in the morning
16:13uh and then I think we actually had the
16:14interview at about 9:45 how' that go I
16:16mean it was all good uh they didn't have
16:18anything they said that they'd probably
16:20be getting back to me by Tuesday or
16:21Thursday this coming week get you back
16:23to work yeah yeah cuz I
16:26mean it's like it's crappy world when
16:28you you know you don't have any money
16:29you can't do anything so financially how
16:32how does the the nursing what you did
16:34I'm sorry I just don't know that much or
16:35she knows a lot more about nursing the
16:37nursy how does how does it pay how does
16:38it pay um I mean if you work your your
16:40standard three to 3 12 hours a week you
16:42get anywhere between I'd say 45 and
16:45$55,000 a year so I mean it's not bad um
16:48obviously if you work overtime like some
16:50of the nurses who have also been nurses
16:52for a long time uh I mean they can make
16:55six figures if if you work five what was
16:57your best what was your best year I
16:59think my best year I made like 55,000 55
17:02because I rarely worked overtime right
17:03you know when I was just cuz I I had the
17:05whole plan of going to uh to graduate
17:07school so I was just kind of using it as
17:09a stepping for that time just to pay the
17:11bills to get you where you got gotcha
17:13and that and that and what you going for
17:15what does that pay nurse anesthesia pays
17:18I mean base like about 150 up to 175 you
17:22work a lot of overtime you can cusp 200
17:24but then you know so what would you
17:26actually be doing if I could do anything
17:29no I mean with that job that an nursing
17:31an right wouldst oh yeah nursing
17:34anesthetist thank you uh you just be
17:36you're the you're in the O you put the
17:38patients to sleep keep them alive during
17:40surgery wake them up send them off to
17:42the I thought that was a doctor that did
17:43that and Florida yeah in Florida the
17:46anesthesiologist which is the MD
17:49equivalent if you will they have to come
17:51in at the start of surgery they have to
17:53induce the patient to put them to sleep
17:54and then as long as they're comfortable
17:56with you the surgeon's comfortable with
17:57you then the anesthesiologist leaves and
18:00then you take care of the whole entire
18:01surgical right okay and then again you
18:05know by the time you're a CRNA you're
18:07obviously confident enough to wake the
18:09patient up so when I was a student
18:11though the anesthesiologist would
18:12sometimes come back in for wake up to
18:14make sure everything's okay and then you
18:16take them to to the uh Pia or the
18:18posttop area drop them off you give the
18:20nurse report and then you go on to your
18:22next case Okay um High School where'd
18:26you go I went to Timber Creek High
18:29School on Avalon okay and graduated what
18:31year uh 2007 okay and then did you go
18:35right to UCF and start your degree
18:38summer yeah
18:39okay kind of grades you make how were
18:42your grades um High School in the first
18:44two years of college I was
18:48ABC um you know I was in honors in the
18:51major program for uh
18:54UCF um and then my final two years when
18:57I was getting my my BSN M uh I made A's
19:00and B's and then I had one slip up in my
19:02final semester where I had to uh redo a
19:05class and then I ended up graduating in
19:08uh August of what year
19:102011 okay and did you start work right
19:14after
19:15that yeah I think like a couple months
19:18after and went to work where uh I went I
19:20first worked on the intermediate
19:22Critical Care Unit at ommc in downtown
19:26okay and then went from where up to
19:29Rollins at some point no no no I went to
19:31um I worked in the ICC there at that
19:34hospital and then I worked in the
19:35multistem ICU at that hospital uh and
19:38then I applied for The Graduate School
19:41in December or I I started going in
19:44January

19:55yes okay um girlfriend
19:59girlfriends I had like my high school
20:02sweetheart uh girlfriend um for about
20:05five years and then ever since then no
20:08like official girlfriends no flings or
20:10anything like that dates here and there
20:12dates occasionally but I mean not really
20:14kind of focused on like just getting
20:16through the life the life goals that you
20:18know I wanted to achieve and then um you
20:22have a bunch of uh school debt school I
20:25mean not anything from UCF I have about
20:28$100,000 I'd say from my math when I was
20:31going to Barry mhm so that's the only
20:34school debt that I have right
20:36now um it kind of creeped back up when I
20:39wasn't working so I wasn't I had to go
20:40on to the Deferred payments or whatever
20:42it's called so I get a
20:43job what do you like to do what do I
20:46like to do I like to watch anime um me
20:49and my brother kind of started doing
20:51that
20:52back 5 years ago I'd say he kind of got
20:55me into it what is it I'm sorry oh oh
20:57sorry I don't know what it is I mean I
20:59thought you said MMA like okay and then
21:02then when you started explaining to I
21:04mean heard it like now it's it's
21:06animated
21:08um it's like cartoons I guess you could
21:10say but it's Japanese cartoons I guess
21:14is the best way to put it so um it's not
21:16as it's like the the stories and whatnot
21:19and the way that the shows progress it's
21:21not as childish as cartoons as you would
21:24think like powderpuff girls and
21:25SpongeBob SquarePants and all that stuff
21:27it's not like that so it's adult based
21:29it's adult based yeah you can put it
21:30that way yeah it's uh cover I mean it
21:32can cover like Slice of Life where it's
21:34just comedies it can get dramatic
21:36romance all those different where do you
21:38where would one watch this um you you
21:41download it uh from the internet and
21:43then you can just watch it at home like
21:44on your computer you can watch it on uh
21:46you can watch it anywhere you have an
21:47internet is it in Japanese or it is in
21:50Japanese and then they uh sub it yeah do
21:53you speak Japanese I that's going to say
21:54do you understand I don't I I understand
21:56a few words we actually just went to uh
21:59me and my brother and one of my friends
22:02or I guess friends from high school we
22:03went to Japan in from December 1st to
22:08December 15th oh wow so we went cuz I
22:10mean and it was anime that kind of
22:12inspired us to want to go there first
22:13time going yeah first time actually who
22:15you and your brother and who our friend
22:17Jericho Jericho he uh he's been he was
22:20originally a friend of my brothers back
22:21in high school and then we all have kind
22:23of stayed close how expensive was that
22:25trip um I mean god plain tickets alone
22:28were like 1,400 bucks and then I'd say
22:32it was probably about 10 grand total for
22:35like all the stays for each one of you
22:38yeah wow I mean it was about it was two
22:39weeks so how did were there yeah how
22:43how' you how' you spend your time over
22:45there oh God it was we went to Tokyo for
22:48the first four days and then we stayed
22:50there and then we went to Kyoto for two
22:52days and then I cannot remember all the
22:53names of the specific places but then it
22:55just stayed it was like one day stays at
22:57Rio cons which sure like guest houses
22:59are in MH um that was food food was
23:04great we were too scared to actually go
23:06into like the shops like the just like
23:08the the side shops because all in
23:11Japanese they all know what they're
23:12doing and we don't want to like say it
23:15wrong or do whatever like impose so uh
23:19we actually survived a lot at night on
23:22just like
23:23um food that you get from 7-Eleven cuz
23:26over there over there it's called 7 I
23:29but it's like the 7-Eleven symbol so
23:31it's the same exact thing and it's got
23:34way better food than what like the
23:357-Eleven that we have here so we go back
23:38oh yeah yeah we would go back really
23:40yeah we I think we were actually
23:41planning on going back November of this
23:44year how long you been out of work I've
23:46been out of work for six months since
23:48June how did you pay that's a lot of
23:50money for to be out of work my brother
23:52oh yeah yeah my brother what does he do
23:54he's he's the CR I what sorry the the
23:58certifi registered nurse okay what you
24:00were what you what we were both in the
24:02program together okay and then he was
24:04able to finish and then I did not so he
24:06was making a good money yeah yeah yeah
24:07was he making that 150 he was working a
24:11lot he was working a lot I mean I don't
24:12know if he was I think he was cusping a
24:14lot of overtime not scheduled but like
24:17it's just kind of what happens um but
24:19yeah he was moving along what do you
24:21think he made his best year God he
24:23showed me cuz he was uh he want he was
24:27complaining about how like his taxes
24:30alone were like the annual income of
24:33like a nurse and I think when he showed
24:36me before like it had all ended like the
24:39uh before his pay year had ended that he
24:42was already up to like 166 but that was
24:45like after I think the $60,000 or
24:47$440,000 already came out I can't
24:50remember that was after it yeah I think
24:52so so he made more than 160s that was
24:54take on yeah wow so we definitely we
24:58definitely picked the wrong time I
24:59should have stayed in nursing yeah yeah
25:02definitely so he he just paid for your
25:03your trip to go since you're both into
25:05this right yeah okay
25:08um Jericho what's he do uh he he's got
25:13just a high school diploma so he I think
25:16for the majority of the past year he was
25:18working as one of those um what are they
25:21called they're like the people that
25:23watch the security camps when you go
25:25into like a gap or something like that
25:27he's like watching lost prevention
25:29that's it correct how' he pay for all
25:31that I I mean I guess he just saved um
25:34brother didn't have to pay for him no no
25:35no yeah he he like covered maybe some
25:37like daily expenses if there was like a
25:39taxi or or something right how long did
25:41you guys plan this
25:43prior it I mean it had been a dream of
25:46ours to go for a couple years and then
25:49we really started planning probably just
25:51the year before like actually like
25:53putting the money aside getting all the
25:55reservations and whatnot scheduled like
25:57a dream trip to go there this is for
25:59that anime you call it I mean it was the
26:02inspiration when we went there though we
26:04just kind of took up all the culture
26:06because through the anime you kind of
26:08see little glimpses of what the culture
26:09is actually like so then we just wanted
26:11to kind of experience all that it was a
26:13good time and definitely worth going
26:14back for definitely definitely
26:17um Hobbies what do you like to do uh
26:20okay so besid besides the anime um
26:23besides that we would play video games
26:26we actually just got uh like a virtual
26:29reality headset thingy for like the
26:32computer um that was kind of fun what
26:35kind of game do you play oh God back in
26:38the day we we played Call of Duty a lot
26:41like back in the day and then we got out
26:43of that cuz it was just starting to get
26:44to like which system did you use
26:46PlayStation oh PlayStation then we went
26:48to Xbox cuz that was like what a couple
26:50of our friends had and then we went back
26:52to PlayStation and then me and my
26:54brother got into PC gaming where on that
26:56we just play like mobas which are like
26:58strategy type games RPG type games um so
27:02I've got to ask that you end of these
27:03games Stu I know did you hack did I hack
27:06you guys did you did you and your
27:07brother hack games with are you the guys
27:09that I've played with was when I was out
27:11of work for a couple months because of
27:12an injury that would hack and we cheat
27:14me and delete and and lower me down to
27:16the lowest level of nothing oh oh no no
27:18no we we weren't we weren't that
27:20technologically gifted but uh I mean we
27:23would use like um like glitches or
27:26something like that when we would play
27:27on the PC mhm where you could like have
27:30no recoil or you know it would like auto
27:33aim or something like that so so yes is
27:36the answer you're tell I but we didn't
27:38we didn't hack other people's accounts
27:40no there there's I've seen people in the
27:43middle of an Xbox game they'll tell you
27:45that they'll find somebody that's
27:46cheating and they'll you'll see this big
27:48hand come in and grab them they say come
27:50over here against this section of the
27:52game and the guy splatt it against the
27:54wall and they just stand there and they
27:55shoot him he dies and he comes right
27:56back there oh jeez
28:00all right all right we're fixing have a
28:01big problem because you probably got me
28:03before so you guys play a lot of of the
28:06PC games yeah we start we started get
28:08into PC games primarily we kind of I
28:10haven't turned on my PlayStation in
28:11months months um I think the only other
28:14game that we really played was fortnite
28:16but then that was starting to get to
28:17like that's a big deal right now
28:20the and and actually yeah during the
28:22time that I was um that I wasn't working
28:25at the nurse I tried to do the whole
28:27Twitch streaming thing what is that um
28:30I'm
28:31sorry where you have to explain a lot
28:33this to us with h with twitch it's you
28:35got your mic and then you have your face
28:37cam and then basically people are just
28:39watching you play whatever game you're
28:40going to say that you're playing okay
28:42and then you know they can donate they
28:43can subscribe to you which then you get
28:45like a monthly payment um did you have
28:47anybody doing that for you I had I had
28:49like a I think I was up to like 30
28:51something subscribers and what what
28:53would you charge them uh to to with with
28:55subscriptions there's four tiers of it
28:58uh tier one it's just $5 so right when
29:00you see that you oh blank subscribe to
29:02you get $5 um is that monthly or just
29:05total actually it's every twitch pays
29:07you every 45 days because you're like an
29:09independent self-employed or something
29:11no saying with with their account that
29:12they subscribe to you would be for a
29:1330-day period or so every 30 days they
29:16owe you another five bucks if they
29:18resubscribe so then there was that uh
29:21tier 2 was like $10 tier three was 15
29:23then if somebody tier four it was 24 I
29:26think and what does that get you from
29:28all all that the higher tiers do is they
29:30give you like more emotes like little
29:32things you can put in chat so that when
29:34you're playing everybody who's in your
29:35room can chat about you know what you're
29:37doing or you know anything random um and
29:41then donations are just can range from 1
29:44cent up to however High what were we
29:46making off of twitch a month nothing
29:48really significant it was like so you
29:50had you said about 30 people at one time
29:52subscribe to you so minimum what 15 150
29:56bucks and then a few donations
29:59uh but primarily I guess just keeping
30:01myself busy doing something's a lot of
30:03money in this now are these are are
30:05these adult students are kids they're
30:07they're in their early 20s the
30:10there's thousands and thousands of
30:12streamers uh who do that on Twitch but
30:15there's maybe like five that make six
30:18figures and then like the two most
30:21prominent ones are ninja and Tim the
30:22tatman and they both play
30:25fortnite uh like ninja I think makes 300
30:28Grand a month from just doing 300 Grand
30:32yeah and where's he at like where does
30:34he live no you us Japan somewhere oh oh
30:37yeah he's us I think he lives up by
30:39Chicago or something like that and but
30:41he's only he's only 24 so oblivious all
30:44this computer stuff no we play Atari
30:46when I was younger Atari yeah nice nice
30:48Retro Gaming or
30:50pong pong yeah our first one so you do
30:54you do that
30:56and so you a lot of computer knowledge a
30:59good amount yeah I mean oh more than the
31:01average person yeah yeah I'm I'm
31:03computer savvy yeah you have a computer
31:05home good the computer I have a yeah I
31:07have a gaming PC up in my room um and
31:10then there's another gaming PC
31:12downstairs that we just buil uh for the
31:14VR specifically you guys built it
31:17yeah and then uh but I mean yeah even
31:19for like my gaming PC like we would buy
31:21all the parts and then we would put it
31:22together our own little what would what
31:24would a good one cost you when I built
31:26mine it was about three grand and then
31:29the gaming one downstairs I think
31:32was 4,000 or like 4500 and that's
31:35basically just for the VR stuff you use
31:37it for yeah yeah that was pretty neat
31:39neat setup yeah that was a lot of fun
31:41yeah that was cool getting into the on
31:44virtual reality it was primarily just
31:46beat saber so it's like a rhythm based
31:49game like Guitar Hero Like a Rock
31:51Rocksmith or rock band whatever it was
31:53called um and then you just use the
31:55virtual reality wands to hit the the
31:58cubes in a certain way however the song
31:59beats going and
32:02then see this yeah yeah apart from that
32:06uh we really didn't get into too many
32:08other games yet cuz we were kind of just
32:09focused on beat saer but I think we had
32:11downloaded a few other where it's just
32:13like you're going through like a world
32:16and you can interact with the world or
32:18something like that what other Hobbies
32:20you have besides that um a number of
32:23years ago like me and my brother were
32:25actually uh like gun enthusiasts and you
32:28know we
32:29got we did it wrong where we did it all
32:32during when the the the season was like
32:35high so everything cost so much money St
32:37hunting season yeah I guess so for
32:40unfortunately we don't we don't hunt or
32:41anything like that but um we would go
32:43like clay shooting mhm um where'd you go
32:47the primarily primarily the place we
32:49went to is uh Quail Creek Plantation
32:52where's that
32:53at like I was telling you in the car I
32:55don't remember the is it local or is it
32:57it's like like an hour and a half away
32:58from here you know what county is in or
33:00city um Creek Plantation the only place
33:03I know gun range I really know I mean
33:05that you do something like that is is
33:06out in Geneva there one in Geneva right
33:08yeah I think there's one out there I
33:10mean that might be where it is but I
33:12don't remember the city specifically uh
33:14but we would do the clay shooting and
33:15then we were part of the blush County
33:18Gun and shooting yeah whatever it was
33:20called but that was like two years ago
33:24um the only thing that we really kept up
33:25with was clay shooting um but even that
33:28I don't think we've done that for like
33:29eight months or something what were you
33:30shooting What were what was your gun for
33:32that would you like uh me and my brother
33:34both got the Bali uh like long super
33:39Super Magnum Super Supernova I think
33:42Supernova uh we both had those and then
33:46during the time where like I was
33:48struggling like in this last six months
33:49I mean I sold all of my guns what did
33:51you have what did I have you have any
33:53gun collection going I did I had um I
33:56had about 4 A RS M uh they were all just
33:59where you would buy like the different
34:01parts again kind of like with the PC and
34:02then just put them all together because
34:04I'm not I'm not going like that why so
34:06many hours I mean again it was we were
34:09just like an Enthusiast for wanting to
34:10build our own things and just kind of
34:12seeing what we had come up bu up you buy
34:14them already made we would buy the
34:16specific parts and then have them sent
34:17to the the gun clubs or whatever so you
34:20could pick them up um and then yeah and
34:22then we put them all together you put
34:23them you guys build them yourself didn't
34:24have to be doing for you no no no so you
34:26had four yards what'd you have what else
34:28have um besides that I had uh balum for
34:32uh shot shotgun tactical shotgun
34:34tactical shotgun what were using that
34:36for that was just that was like our that
34:39was just our what gun that like me and
34:41my brother both had one of those you
34:42both had one yeah and then we had um
34:46that had always just been our Dream gun
34:47that we just wanted to have was an m a
34:49tactical M4 we took it to the range a
34:52couple times just to put to I've got an
34:54M1 oh nice yeah but the M4 is much nicer
34:57yeah yeah um and then we had the
34:59supernovas which we just use for clay
35:01shooting and then uh pistols
35:06wise I
35:09had I think four or five just pistols
35:12yeah I had a Glock 17 I believe it was
35:18um I had
35:23uh it's not the
35:26shield it's a Smith Wesson M9 something
35:30I don't remember what it is and then I
35:32had a
35:35Taurus which was I think like a 40 cal
35:3845 caliber M and then I had uh again
35:41it's like the dream gun that I that I
35:43always wanted was the
35:45um the FN Tactical
35:4945 with like threaded barrel and all
35:51that stuff um the TV gun yeah exactly no
35:55no no suppressors or anything like that
35:57cuz again during that time it's like to
35:58get your stamp alone would take 6 months
36:00and then you got to wait however long to
36:03get that back so we never got we never
36:04got that deep into it um still have them
36:07all or you said you got rid of some of
36:09them I sold all my guns yeah which you s
36:12uh the Florida Gun Exchange the what
36:16Florida Gun Exchange where it's down
36:19in uh they have one and God I am just
36:22it's some or Orman Beach Orman Beach
36:25that's the one you took them over and
36:26sold them yeah sold them all one time or
36:28no no no just kind cuz I didn't want to
36:30go in with too many then I felt like
36:32they would they look at you like who's
36:33this guy with all these guns yeah or
36:34they would they would like cut me a
36:37lower deal because i' given them like a
36:39whole bunch where'd you get for the ARs
36:41ARS unfortunately like it wasn't that
36:43much it was only like three grand or
36:45something like that yeah just because
36:47there how much you spend on them you
36:48think way more like at least doublez
36:51because again we bought them during the
36:53height of the season and then I'm
36:54selling apparently where it's like not a
36:56good season to
36:58and they told me that if they're not
37:00just like like companies that I can't
37:04even think of one like companies that
37:05make their own and they're just like a
37:06fool like this whole gun is all by this
37:09company or whatever those apparently
37:11sell for more than like a custom one
37:14because some people might not like what
37:15I put on it you know so um I think
37:19that's why I probably didn't get about
37:20the handun what you them handguns was
37:22maybe like total was like $1,500 or
37:26something like that those and the FN
37:28alone was
37:29$1,600 you buy all them all new yeah all
37:32new the the rifles you put together
37:34rifles we put together customize them
37:36the handguns were handguns were brand
37:38new shotguns were new what you get for
37:39shotguns what' you get for the M4 for
37:41the M4 that one was like the highest one
37:43I think they gave me like 1,100 for it
37:45what you pay for it about 155 not too
37:48bad not too bad um and then for the uh
37:51the Supernova it was only about $700 but
37:53that one cost about $1,200 and that one
37:56uh I think we actually had to get from
37:58Gander Mountain mhm um way back when you
38:01have any of these left anything or you
38:03keep do you keep anything for yourself
38:05no no I ended up everything got rid of
38:07everything so I was just I was just
38:09trying to get some semblance of money in
38:12um keep up with your payments keep up
38:13with my payments but also because like
38:15the the whole trip was coming down the
38:17line um you know my brother had to like
38:20foot the bill for the to get the
38:23attorney um so you know it's like there
38:25was a lot of stuff what you pay the
38:26attorney you know I think it was $8,000
38:29for the holding holding the attorney
38:32retainer retainer retainer fee and and
38:34basically she had to do nothing she had
38:35to do nothing and um he got like annoyed
38:40because he like he apparently wasn't
38:43told that it was non-refundable but I
38:46like I know that I told him because like
38:48I had to send in the document signing it
38:50saying this is non-refundable I'm know
38:51no any attorney that takes a retainer
38:53that ever gives you anything back yeah
38:56to hire me that's what it's going toost
38:57yeah I didn't he didn't get anything
38:59back from that unfortunately and she
39:00ended up I think only going through
39:02about 3,000 of it mhm so
39:06cuz what was it I think 5,000 was for
39:09the criminal case and then 3,000 was for
39:12the other case if it had to go to the
39:13Department of Health which that never
39:15had to happen so that 3,000 is just so
39:17your nursing certificate is still get uh
39:19free clear and act it's always been
39:21clear and active it's just the
39:22quintessential you go to that background
39:24check and then they'll see an
39:25outstanding thing even though I have the
39:28paperwork now saying everything's been
39:31dropped he's in the process of expunging
39:32his records did you have to go in front
39:34of the board or anything no I didn't
39:36have to go before the judge cuz when not
39:38saying Board of Nursing if any of this
39:40that's good um you know even when even
39:44when it all went down on the day where
39:47uh I was accused of that of that felony
39:50you know the uh the cops came in and
39:51then they handcuffed me and they were
39:53like you know you've been charged with
39:55this we're taking you down to the
39:57um I think it was Orange County the
40:00Orange County Jail area you know I had
40:03to have the picture taken and stay in
40:05the the sitting area where they process
40:08you all and everything like that and you
40:11know I'm using the the phones on the the
40:13cord you know trying to just pass around
40:16the phone and I'm surrounded by all
40:18these guys who are talking about you
40:19know who are real criminals who are real
40:22and first person I call is my dad I mean
40:25my my brother and what is your brother's
40:28name Cody sorry um first person I called
40:32him and he was at work at the time that
40:35he answered his phone and I was just
40:37like
40:38look I'm freaking out uh I've been
40:41charged with this I've been told that my
40:43bond is this and then he I guess he
40:46tells you know whoever was was working
40:49that day with him I got to I got to go
40:51so then he uh he calls my mom he calls
40:55my dad he Smooths things over as best as
40:58he can he's just basically saying I'm
40:59going to to pay this um and then I think
41:04I was there for like 7 hours or
41:05something even though it was paid within
41:06like the first hour right it just takes
41:08a little time to get all the paper workk
41:10and the booking in and then the bond
41:12process to go through down right so
41:15that's dismissed you're out looking for
41:17jobs applying pretty regular yeah I mean
41:19I yeah yeah I'd say pretty regular
41:21anything left in savings nothing left in
41:23savings I think I had like $3 $400 uh
41:26but kind of helping you through yeah I
41:28mean brother was helping me my dad was
41:30covering um the rent that he calls it
41:33which is just like the monthly payment
41:34that to for us to help since we all live
41:36at home what was that what' you to pay
41:37to that $600 a month yeah and then um
41:42it's not a bad deal is it no and then I
41:44mean he was he was covering like cell
41:46phone we were paying for our own
41:48internet
41:50um I imagine for that gaming all stuff
41:52you got to have better than basic basic
41:54internet didn't you yeah unfortunately
41:56out where we live it's it's like our
41:59street like the street coming down I
42:01think at Fort Christmas before you turn
42:02in like that's the dividing line
42:05everything before you turn into Fort
42:08Christmas all the nice big fancy houses
42:09that are on that side they all have
42:12spectrum and the gigabyte connection
42:14they have everything available to them
42:15but then right when you come down here
42:16where I guess the older neighborhoods
42:18are they haven't branched out everything
42:20so I think it was just AT&T that was
42:23providing service and I mean we have the
42:25highest one but it's still like I think
42:27it was 50 megabytes download and like 10
42:30megabytes upload so I mean it's not that
42:32great but it was good so basically all
42:33all your computer systems were underwork
42:35for what their capabilities yeah oh yeah
42:37yeah I'm sure that virtual reality takes
42:39up a lot of of speed doesn't it yeah
42:42yeah um let's see close with your
42:46brother Cody let's talk about Cody oh
42:47yeah yeah yeah me and Cody who's older
42:49you or him he is I'm the youngest one
42:51I'm 29 he's 31 my oldest brother Jason
42:53is 35 or 36 now uhu um
42:57who who lives at home it all three boys
43:00live at home no no no it was just me and
43:01Cody and then Mom and Dad okay um tell
43:03tell me about tell me about Cody Cody
43:06let's see uh me and Cody had the
43:09quintessential rough like fighting each
43:12other and whatnot when we were younger
43:13the love hate typical siblings but then
43:16I would say like my junior year of high
43:18school we were all on the weightlifting
43:20team together uh that's where I got to
43:22know a lot of like his guy friends um
43:25and you know we just we stopped like
43:28arguing at that point and then we all
43:31you know we decided to go to nursing
43:32school together we decided to go to the
43:34the nurse anesthesia school together um
43:38I mean we did everything together I mean
43:40who's the better student he was the
43:41better student in everything up through
43:45nursing school and then I was actually
43:47the better student in nurse anesthesia
43:49school but uh there was like a again
43:52kind of like are you guys sorry are you
43:55guys at the same time in same classes
43:58yeah so you're the not for nursing
44:00school not for nursing no no I mean for
44:02the anesthesiology yeah we sat right
44:03next to each other so you're in there
44:05doing things together so you got
44:06somebody to study with somebody to to
44:08bounce things off of and work with yeah
44:10and we would do that all the time when
44:11we were burning the midnight oil but you
44:13were better than him yeah uh and that
44:15was the one time that he actually
44:16admitted that I was uh didactically more
44:20confident than him in that field um and
44:24then who was better than weight ler he
44:26was okay he he he broke a number of
44:29school records uh I think he was like
44:32the 129 weight class I was the 119 way
44:34class but uh he was he was definitely
44:37stronger in uh in high school and then
44:42um but yeah uh we were close I mean I
44:46mean like bonded you know um I don't
44:49really know how else to really say it it
44:51was a lot of people thought that it was
44:52weird because we did everything together
44:54and because we were so close but
44:58yeah I mean a lot of people understand
44:59the bond of Brothers I the true Bond of
45:01you're close with your brother and I
45:02mean during like this whole time I mean
45:04kind of like with just a few examples
45:05I've given you he was he'd take care of
45:08everything for me always there for you
45:10yeah always there to support you always
45:11there um fight with you one minute but
45:14make sure that you were not stuck in
45:15jail for some silly charge the nice and
45:19um yeah I mean he was just he's always
45:23been there for me so with my oldest
45:25brother Jason not so much just cuz he
45:28was adopted to begin with um and then
45:32who he was adopted by who my dad he was
45:35my mom's son um your mom married before
45:37your dad no no just had just had okay um
45:42and then he was heavily restricted when
45:44we were younger uh for for lying and
45:46stuff like that to our dad so basically
45:48he would
45:49like uh he would go to school and then
45:52he'd come home he'd have to stay in his
45:53room there's like no TV or anything like
45:56that especially a you know 15 years ago
45:58or something like that but um you know
46:00he'd come down for dinner and then he'd
46:01go back up and he'd do his work uh on
46:04the weekends and whatnot he would like
46:05go out and pick weeds and like do that
46:07stuff and then come in and then do the
46:09same thing so
46:10unfortunately me and Cody never really
46:12got to interact with Jason the oldest
46:15brother uh a whole lot um but I mean
46:18Jason's been like I think he's one of
46:21the most genuine people that you'd ever
46:22meet
46:23he's Cody's definitely when you're way
46:26closer with yeah yeah hands down hands
46:28down go on vacations he's helping with
46:30bills help me with with with the legal
46:32issues right I mean study together stud
46:34together we yeah did everything together
46:36connected at the hip and ever any issues
46:39really with him no like I was saying
46:41during this last six months it it had
46:43been a very trying
46:44time um you know financially trying to
46:47get the job thing going worrying about
46:50this whole what's going to happen with
46:51this legal
46:52stuff um but like even through it all I
46:56mean
46:57he would like have his moments where he
46:59would get extremely upset like uh like
47:03you know he never gets violent I guess
47:06you could say but like at one point he
47:08got so upset that he like pushed a
47:10cabinet and then it like dented into the
47:12wall um and he I mean so he'll like lose
47:15his temper kind of my dad but um yeah I
47:19mean at least with me he's always
47:22been like where he's he's there for me
47:25like what whatever it takes regardless
47:28of what's happening I'm going to take
47:29care of it for you um and I mean over
47:34like the last 6 months I mean it it's
47:37it's been sad for me because like I see
47:41everything that like he's doing and like
47:44I can't be like how I've always been
47:46with him where you know I'm I'm helping
47:49out to or I can do something for you you
47:52know where we're kind of on the same
47:53playing field I know that should make
47:56more money than me and all that kind of
47:57stuff but it's like you know we can do
47:59the stuff together you don't have to pay
48:00for my dinner you know when we go out
48:02with the guys you don't have to pay for
48:04the trip you know it's just it you know
48:06I couldn't help relieve his stress I
48:08guess as well as I always used to and
48:10it's also the camaraderie there you got
48:12your brother to go do stuff with right
48:14but then I mean I know for me I had been
48:16bummed out just because like I've been
48:18out of work I've you know my whole life
48:20it's been school work school back to
48:24work and then just I mean that's it you
48:27know sacrificed all my 20s I never went
48:29tailgating or anything like that do you
48:31have any issues with depression over all
48:33the legal issues and and be I would say
48:35that I was depressed but um you know I'd
48:38always put on put on the happy face for
48:41like my brother and what how would you
48:42deal with the depression you know I I
48:45talk to God uh I try and just
48:48rationalize it in my head that you know
48:51I haven't heard anything from this
48:52attorney in 5 months 6 months that I
48:55mean you'd think that if it was
48:56something so severe that she would have
48:57heard about it by now um so I was just
49:00trying to rationalize to myself
49:03that hopefully this can all get taken
49:05care of and then I can get back I was
49:07looking towards the future you know like
49:09then I can do like what I'm doing now
49:10where
49:12applying you know everybody likes me
49:14when they talk to me and they look at my
49:16resume and they see all my experience
49:17and then just waiting for if I get to
49:19call back well you got you know of
49:21course I'm sure you know this you've got
49:23that little blemish yeah over no falter
49:25yards to go goes away but still it's
49:27there they can see it and you have to
49:29explain away you're even though it was
49:33dropped you still have that that little
49:35check mark that they you've got to get
49:37by and then that's that's tough that to
49:39be go from what you were and you're
49:40working towards you know the job you
49:42your brother has and you know the
49:45financial gains you the difference
49:46between the nurse and the program you're
49:48going to it's it's it's a huge burden on
49:50you of course you ever take any
49:51medication for the depression no no
49:54never I never took any uh like even
49:56medicate no I never took any like
49:57anti-depressants or anything like that I
49:59think um the only thing just because
50:01like sleeping was kind of off and on at
50:03a time I would take like um um like
50:06benad just like help me go to sleep back
50:08at home and then when um I think the
50:13only other thing is like sleep aid which
50:15is again it's just diap and Hy mean you
50:18know secondary side effect is just
50:20drought you know it's not like it's
50:21actual purpose and then melatonin just
50:23to help with the Sleep Cycle cuz I
50:26worked nights all the time so I was
50:27always a night I always awake and then
50:29now it's like trying to get back in
50:31trying to cuz yeah I'd be going to days
50:34um but that's the only thing I ever took
50:36and then Advil ibuprofen for like
50:38headaches but no anti-depressants no
50:40medical history none of that type of
50:42stuff but you and Cody since you've been
50:43adults any any physical fist fights
50:45anything no when we were super young but
50:48besides that no no yeah yeah
50:51um so living at home is who me Cody uh
50:56dad and mom tell me about your mom my
50:59mom has uh she's always been the uh it's
51:04kind of like Cody she's always been the
51:05one that focused on me and
51:10um she I mean she she worked at home she
51:14uh what' she did she was God I I do not
51:18like
51:19uh something manager like a client
51:22manager for nuance transcription company
51:25what that what that uh basically
51:27uh Nuance their major thing is medical
51:29transcription okay so it's just all the
51:31the things that the doctors are saying
51:33while you're in the hospital and then um
51:36well would she make sure that those all
51:37got transcribed she would manage the
51:39people who who did all the
51:41transcriptions and then she had a couple
51:42people where there's like the managers
51:45over those people that then she would
51:46also take care of and I think she was in
51:48the stage now where she was kind of
51:50branching out to different uh countries
51:53so she had just gotten like this Canada
51:55account I think where she had basically
51:57do the same thing but now it's just all
51:58she had she had a good job oh yeah good
52:00paying job it sounds like possil she
52:03only I think she told me that she
52:06completed high school but if she didn't
52:08then she didn't have a high school
52:09diploma or she did I honestly can't
52:11remember M and with that when she first
52:15started doing everything like with my
52:16dad and she was just a medical
52:18transcriptionist so she wasn't she's
52:19making like 35,000 a year or something
52:21like that um but now she had worked her
52:24way all the way up to making about about
52:26$90,000 a year at this job stressful as
52:30H you know yeah yeah I'd hear
52:34complain do all that stuff where was
52:37your office at uh you come down the
52:40staircase and then it's right to the
52:41right so it's like it's got like a
52:43potted plant in there it's got like a
52:45bay window or three window no I say
52:47office oh at home she she worked at home
52:49yeah yeah yeah Oh I thought you said she
52:51worked at oh no she works for nuance
52:53transcri but yeah works from home so
52:56it's like it's like where like all of
52:58our internet and crap is against like
53:00the wall like a home office work it was
53:03like originally a dining room but then
53:04it was transitioned into like her office
53:07and fights and fusses with Mom or or no
53:09I mean were you the baby you you were
53:11truly the family baby for my mom best
53:13Chief yeah okay for my mom um mom's
53:17favorite yeah and I mean I had been
53:19being told that cuz again it's like this
53:21last six or seven months was just like
53:23stressful for everybody sure and you
53:26know countless times my dad would like
53:29come up to me and he'd make like me feel
53:34like he'd try and use things and word
53:36things to make me feel guilty so that I
53:38would you know do everything that I can
53:41like get a job almost like a motivation
53:43right uh and he' he'd tell me time and
53:45time again that you know you're her
53:47favorite I mean she would do anything
53:49for you MH and I mean it's like yeah I
53:52don't need to hear that I mean that's
53:53not what would motivate me sure um but
53:56no with
53:57Mom I think we yelled at each other a
54:00grand total of like three or four times
54:02my whole life um I've never like yelled
54:05at
54:06her for anything because I mean she's
54:08never done anything wrong she's always
54:10been the one who's stood by you stood by
54:12me but tried you know even during our
54:14early childhood when it was really rough
54:17with our dad uh why was that my dad's a
54:21Leo typ a Italian personality man he's
54:25very focused on his
54:29future um he's very focused on
54:32everything that he's sacrificed in his
54:34life for the better betterment of all of
54:37us um you know like he's always dreamed
54:40of going hiking up in the mountains they
54:41have a property up in Tennessee that
54:42they built and you been there I've
54:45actually me and Cody and Jason have
54:47never been up to that house just because
54:49Mom and Dad hide that from you that's
54:50our our secret Hideway a little bit no
54:52kids allow a little bit but I mean they
54:55have you seen the pictur oh yeah yeah
54:56place is it um it's nice it's like I
54:58think my dad has emphasized it's about
55:00half the size of the the house out in
55:02julota where we all grew up MH um but
55:05it's I mean super modern it's got like
55:08the brick layout on the whole thing it's
55:10on like four or six acres or something
55:13like that is this is and where's it at
55:16Tennessee is that Tennessee and it's um
55:19is this is this up in a place like they
55:21rent the rental cabin areas where a lot
55:23of touristy people no no it's very
55:25secluded it's uh God I can why am I so
55:29terrible at remembering these things it
55:33is it's like an hour out from
55:36Gatlinburg okay God I can't remember
55:38kind of general area it's very secluded
55:40it's like you see a house like on the
55:42satellite thing and then it's got like
55:44acres and acres and Acres of trees and
55:45then you might see like another house
55:47right over there and then off like the
55:49back end of their property they would
55:50send us pictures where it's got like the
55:52the guard rail but it overlooks like a
55:55valley mhm so um that property had
55:58actually been causing my dad a lot of
56:00stress because I think it's been built
56:02for like 5 or 6 years he only goes up
56:05there once every month once every couple
56:06months just to do maintenance not to
56:08like enjoy it and then every like other
56:12month him and my mom would go up there
56:13for like a week um but again it's like
56:17my mom would always just be like you
56:18know I'm working every day like we're
56:20doing stuff in the yard we're clearing
56:22this clearing that think get to enjoy
56:23the right and then my dad apparently
56:25there was like this hog issue up there
56:27that it's been destroying his lawn you
56:29know everything that they're maintaining
56:30MH so um you know he's he was like
56:34stressing about all the money that
56:36that's costing him and um yeah so so
56:41like yeah I guess back to your original
56:43statement with my mom never any issues I
56:46mean she it was always like if there was
56:48somebody that I could talk to and like
56:49Cody wasn't available I'd always talk to
56:51my mom I'd always let her know what's
56:52going on
56:54um yeah I mean she would help me out
56:56through through anything okay tell me
56:58about Dad Dad uh what do he what does he
57:01do Dad's a pharmacist he works for CVS
57:05he's been a pharmacist for I think 35
57:07years or so well he work for CVS no he
57:10uh he worked for the hospital ommc
57:13actually or I think it was something
57:15orange back in the day but um he worked
57:18for
57:18ommc for about 15 years and then he
57:21worked with home infusion with ambient
57:23healthc care for like 11 years or 13
57:27years and then he finally got into this
57:31the sales one uh with CVS what do you
57:34mean where he's just he's on he like
57:37sits in a cubicle and then he's got the
57:38headphone on and then if somebody calls
57:40in he just like tells them what they
57:42have to do like Pharmacy Wise so
57:45pharmacist retail Retail Pharmacy so he
57:48wouldn't go to like the CVS is that you
57:50see on the side of the road he was at
57:52like car Mark or something like that
57:54which is owned by CVS 650 employees he
57:57tell me about like how it's a a bunch of
58:00Pharmacists doing the same J he's doing
58:02basically talking to other pharmacists
58:03talking to other pharmacists talking to
58:05doctors talking to patients patients for
58:07like their home health care stuff that
58:10they have and they just call into the
58:1124hour Pharmacists and then uh you know
58:14they helped them through with whatever
58:15they're whatever they call he like that
58:17job better than being CA no he hated it
58:19he
58:21he he TR when uh cuz he was fired from
58:25oh sorry and then he was uh like IV home
58:28infusion with Florida hospitals home
58:30infusion group for only about 2 or 3
58:33years MH um he was fired from that for
58:37being like I guess to not like soft but
58:41like an uh cuz he would like
58:44like his manager or something was this
58:46like young woman and then she was giving
58:48him crap and then he's like I've been a
58:51pharmacist for this many years like I
58:52and you're younger than it's like I
58:53don't have to listen to you you know so
58:55I guess he blew up one day when he was
58:56down at work and then
59:00um because of that he ended up getting
59:02fired and then he was out of work for
59:03about 3 months and then he was trying to
59:06get back into the hospital system trying
59:08to do home infusion again but because of
59:11how old he is and because he has an rph
59:14degree which was the original pharmacist
59:16degree he doesn't have the new farm D um
59:20he just issue up there that it's been
59:22destroying his lawn you know everything
59:23that they're maintaining MH so um
59:27you know he's he was like stressing

1:02:18go to retail so but I mean he would he
1:02:23he'd tell me every day or every week
1:02:24that you know he hates it
1:02:26uh he's just trying to get to that
1:02:29retirement ear Mark so that he can stop
1:02:32because when he goes up to Tennessee he
1:02:34doesn't want to get recertified in
1:02:35Tennessee and even work part-time like

1:02:42a pharmacist but he originally he lived
1:02:45in Florida and then now he lives in
1:02:46South Carolina and he just works
1:02:49parttime as a pharmacist but he got the
1:02:51whole recertification so he keep doing
1:02:53that right um d make good money uh I
1:02:57think he would tell me that he makes
1:02:59like between $10 and $120,000 a year
1:03:02it's not bad money so yeah it's not bad
1:03:04um well I'm sure him and Mom you're both
1:03:07happy to see you know that both of you
1:03:09going into that program can make more
1:03:10you always want your child to better
1:03:12than you right and I mean you know that
1:03:14was what my dad always emphasized when
1:03:15he was when we were younger going
1:03:18through grade school and high school and
1:03:21college we were heavily restricted but
1:03:23we were allowed to do some
1:03:26like it wasn't like Jason situation
1:03:27where he was just like like the door's
1:03:30locked you know you're staying in there
1:03:31type thing um and who was that who was
1:03:34who was keeping
1:03:36um who was the disciplinary in the
1:03:39family my dad and he the one that inside
1:03:41Jason stays locked in yeah what' Mom
1:03:44think about that Mom didn't approve of
1:03:48it obviously but back in that time my
1:03:51dad was a
1:03:52very like Angry violent type person
1:03:55overbearing
1:03:57overbearing um you know he would he
1:03:59would like push my mom and like one
1:04:02instance you know it was getting to that
1:04:05age where me and Cody were kind of
1:04:06getting old enough to maybe be able to
1:04:08do something if she needed our help and
1:04:11uh I remember her and my dad were like
1:04:14in their room which if you go down the
1:04:15stairs it's right there to the left um
1:04:19we heard our mom yell that he's hurting
1:04:21me he's hurting me and then me and Cody
1:04:23run downstairs and we go into the room
1:04:25room and then we're trying to get our
1:04:27dad off of our mom and then my dad
1:04:29elbows back and that's why my nose is
1:04:31got its little like Bridge right there
1:04:34um but I mean that's like how he was
1:04:36like spankings with a
1:04:392x4 um you know like baseball practice
1:04:42it'd be like for four or five hours and
1:04:44he's hurling the ball as fast as an
1:04:46adult can and we're like 7th e8th grade
1:04:50trying to catch this stuff um so yeah I
1:04:54mean definitely very overbearing but he
1:04:56would always rationalize that he's just
1:04:58trying to like secure our
1:05:00future violent towards the family
1:05:02violent towards my mom and towards me
1:05:04never to co and towards Jason uh but
1:05:07never to Cody
1:05:10why um I I mean Cody his favorite yeah
1:05:14three boys yeah and with that I mean I
1:05:18could kind of see it but Cody also never
1:05:20really made any mistakes he he did a few
1:05:22things wrong he lied a few times you
1:05:25know he cost dad some money a few times
1:05:27but he was never like a repeat offender
1:05:29I guess you could say whereas me and
1:05:31Jason you know we had that difficulty
1:05:33where it's like okay we got a C or we
1:05:35got a D on something and I just don't
1:05:37want to tell Dad about it sure but then
1:05:39he would find out and then you know Dad
1:05:42ever abuse you when we were younger um
1:05:45how so spankings with like a 2x4 and
1:05:48then you know he'd he'd use like uh I
1:05:51mean it was like a 2x4 that was
1:05:53fashioned into a paddle called the
1:05:54lightning
1:05:56the lightning rod I think is what it was
1:05:57called no he he broke it on
1:06:00me uh be sis I would probably with my
1:06:03dad take it out and burn it so he didn't
1:06:05have it anymore but um yeah he would
1:06:10um you know he'd do that and then he'd
1:06:12push you around like he wouldn't he
1:06:13wouldn't punch you he wouldn't bruise
1:06:15you slap you he never slapped me but I
1:06:19guess I should say the only place that I
1:06:20ever got bruised was on my butt from
1:06:22from being spanked he belittle you he
1:06:25would belittle me when I was younger but
1:06:27again how long has you been out of work

1:06:40that like he would make me feel bad that
1:06:42Cody's doing all this stuff to like um
1:06:45and you're not and I'm not like I'm not
1:06:47contributing you're not as not
1:06:49as valuable maybe right maybe that's not
1:06:52the wor word but you're you're not
1:06:53you're not said contributing enough to
1:06:55what needs to be done right and then um
1:06:57but nobody knows better than you that
1:06:59you want to be out there you want to
1:07:00have it I mean I the problem I guess was
1:07:03was that I was I was always like the the
1:07:05jokester the one that could calm
1:07:07everybody down make everybody smile if
1:07:08it was a heated situation I could say a
1:07:10joke or something and then make
1:07:11everybody kind of moved past it and I
1:07:14was just in the point where it's like
1:07:16you know I'm hearing you know all this
1:07:18stuff from Dad I'm seeing how much
1:07:19Cody's helping me you know mom's
1:07:21stressed out with her job and it's like
1:07:24I'm not doing anything and it's like I'm
1:07:26in that situation where it's like I'm
1:07:28not not doing something because I don't
1:07:30want to I'm held out because I'm waiting
1:07:32for this whole legal thing to get taken
1:07:34care of and then for jobs we've been
1:07:36talking for a while you get stretch your
1:07:38LS to go to the bathroom or anything
1:07:39real quick I mean I'm good okay 12 hours
1:07:42a day working as a nurse I'm I'm used to
1:07:44sitting or standing take advantage of
1:07:46when that's why I said that I want to
1:07:48make sure that if you do we take those
1:07:50breaks and sometimes just time C your
1:07:52thoughts cuz you know just sitting
1:07:53talking talking talking talking think
1:07:55about what you're saying um I want to
1:07:57make sure you got a break Brak spinning
1:07:59because this isn't the hospital and make
1:08:01sure that you want water and stuff I'm
1:08:04not a breakfast person and okay
1:08:07Waters
1:08:10so what's the last time your dad put his
1:08:12hands on
1:08:15you uh the last time my dad put his
1:08:18hands on me would
1:08:22be I'd say
1:08:27kind of the middle of December of 2018
1:08:31what happened it's because um you know
1:08:35with all the money that had been getting
1:08:37spent and um I guess just the mix of
1:08:41everything that I've been saying just
1:08:42kind of boiling up in him um and the
1:08:45fact that I was to him it seemed like I
1:08:48wasn't concerned about it so and then
1:08:52plus I was you know I wasn't acting like
1:08:54myself with the jovial and you know all
1:08:56that kind of stuff um my father chose to
1:09:01admit me to like a like an a depression
1:09:05or an addiction clinic or something like
1:09:07that in Fort Lauderdale called
1:09:08Cornerstone when was that that was
1:09:11December 22nd okay until I think uh
1:09:16January 4th did you agree to go I I
1:09:19didn't but they said that you know this
1:09:21was your only who said my dad okay and
1:09:24that was in Fort Lauder
1:09:26yes yeah did your mom agree to with it
1:09:28my mom and my brother both agreed but it
1:09:31was my dad who was like the Iron Fist
1:09:34like this is what's going to happen like
1:09:35you know he can't why did he say he
1:09:37needed to go what was his reasoning
1:09:39because uh with the way that I was
1:09:42acting he just he didn't see that I was
1:09:45doing anything for like the
1:09:47positive um you know and a lot of it
1:09:50just came back to money uh with
1:09:53him uh he would
1:09:56he would like allow me to to spend money
1:09:59that he had like with his credit card or
1:10:01something like that but it's like then
1:10:04whenever I did it was like a huge
1:10:07problem okay so you had one of his
1:10:08credit cards yeah and what were you
1:10:10buying with it uh well what I was doing
1:10:13is um over the
1:10:16past four months or something like that
1:10:19i' been I've been talking to this woman
1:10:20online who is she uh she's as
1:10:24embarrassing as it is she she's a she's
1:10:25a cam she's a cam Model A what a cam
1:10:28model you guys know
1:10:30that just like all the videos you have
1:10:33to tell us a cam model it's like they
1:10:35they it's like a virtual girlfriend I
1:10:38guess you could say okay like that type
1:10:40of situation mhm so a lot of the money
1:10:43went to her okay where's she at she
1:10:45lives in Bulgaria where Bulgaria where's
1:10:48that over in Europe it's like outside of
1:10:51Germany something like that you ever
1:10:52been there no okay um there wasn't it
1:10:54wasn't that
1:10:55so what would you give her money for um
1:10:58just for like the time online with her
1:11:01yeah so it was just like that type of
1:11:02thing and what did she charge by the
1:11:04minute by the hour minute okay and how
1:11:07much does it prevented oh God I think it
1:11:08was
1:11:10like it was like 90 tokens a minute and
1:11:14it's like conversion rate for all of
1:11:16that
1:11:18is like $600 for like a like 5,000 or
1:11:24something token or something like that
1:11:26so and then it was 4 hours a
1:11:29night um so I mean it's I mean that's
1:11:31basically just where all like the cost
1:11:33went to was you pay real money for the
1:11:35tokens then you use the company's
1:11:37digital currency for for that so you do
1:11:40that and when did you meet her I met her

1:11:46um at the beginning of July yeah at the
1:11:50very beginning of July okay and and
1:11:53still talking to her still yeah I mean
1:11:55more just on uh like Twitter like just
1:11:58through direct messaging um again cell
1:12:00phone service doesn't work so it's like
1:12:02I can't use the the chatting right how
1:12:04much do you think you spent on this cuz
1:12:06it seems kind of pricey yeah 90 tokens
1:12:09and and $5,000 for for how many
1:12:13tokens no no it's uh $600 for for 5,000
1:12:17for 5,000 okay so how much you think you
1:12:20spent this probably close to
1:12:28like
1:12:29$200,000 I'd say
1:12:32$200,000 yeah and where did the money
1:12:34come from money came from me uh my
1:12:37brother and then my
1:12:39dad did they know where the money was
1:12:41going to they didn't know that it was
1:12:43going to uh a cam a cam model I was
1:12:47saying that it was going towards my
1:12:49Twitch streaming uh
1:12:51like yeah like advertising like putting
1:12:54my name out there and that that type of
1:12:55thing but based on what you're telling
1:12:58me only so many people make so much
1:13:00money so just I think just a few make a
1:13:03bunch of money so that that was like
1:13:04that the ultimate goal is to get to that
1:13:06I was hoping that I that the Stars would
1:13:08align and then I would be like one of
1:13:09those people because I was good at the
1:13:11games and I you know I'm a like a funny
1:13:14pleasant person on the camera and that
1:13:16type of thing so um yeah I mean that's
1:13:21so I guess to like bring it all back
1:13:22with why I was brought to Cornerstone
1:13:25uh it was a mix of all of those things
1:13:28it's like he felt
1:13:30like you know I
1:13:32um he felt like you need to be grounded
1:13:36yeah yeah and so then I was there you
1:13:39know I spoke to like the therapist and
1:13:41psychiatrist and all that stuff I didn't
1:13:42need any medications for anything they
1:13:45had analyzed it as this is an isolated
1:13:48event you've been out of work you have
1:13:50this PTSD from the whole getting
1:13:53arrested thing and I mean the last thing
1:13:55on my record was I think a speeding
1:13:56ticket back when I was at UCF mhm and
1:13:59then you know just having all of that
1:14:01stuff going
1:14:02on
1:14:04um but then I didn't they had signed me
1:14:08they had signed me up I think to be
1:14:10there for 60 days but then I was only
1:14:12there until January 4th so who paid for
1:14:14that my brother Cody what was the cost
1:14:16of that do you know 15,000 it was
1:14:19$15,000 and then I think uh when I had
1:14:22gotten back we were going through the
1:14:24process of calling them seeing if we get
1:14:25any type of refund and I think they said
1:14:27that he was going to get refunded
1:14:29$33,000 from his 15 sure um but I there
1:14:33so long right right but I don't know if
1:14:35that transaction had ever gone through
1:14:36yet so their final diagnosis of you was
1:14:38what that I was fine that didn't need to
1:14:41be there yeah that I was I was fine I
1:14:43told them all about like my living
1:14:45situation and how it had been stressful
1:14:47and then it got better and then now it's
1:14:48just stressful again but they had all
1:14:51just said that it was just this isolated
1:14:52event situational PTSD from right yeah
1:14:55like once once you can get this legal
1:14:57thing taken care of which I I don't know
1:15:00if I mentioned but when we looked online
1:15:02and we saw that all the charges even
1:15:03dropped that was on like November 30th
1:15:05or 31st the day before we were going to
1:15:07Japan so well that was good and
1:15:11everything um I still knew that it was
1:15:14still going to be like on your record
1:15:15until you get it expunged so you know I
1:15:18was still thinking okay at least now I
1:15:20can maybe start applying when we get
1:15:22back from Japan um but you
1:15:27know yeah so I mean after you get back
1:15:30you got back on the 15th of December of
1:15:35December get
1:15:37back I thought you said you went on the
1:15:3922nd of December yeah that's that's when
1:15:42that's when I went to yeah it was after
1:15:43Japan and it was because when I had
1:15:45gotten back my um my mom and dad were
1:15:50you know dealing with a lot of the
1:15:51financial stuff while we were up there
1:15:53mhm and then um
1:15:55when I got back that's where my dad
1:15:57started to get really kind of
1:15:59overbearing and I mean rightfully so I
1:16:00know what I did but it's like with him
1:16:03it was every single day hours a day
1:16:06excuse me hours a day he'd come home
1:16:08from work and then he would just talk to
1:16:11me just about the same exact thing over
1:16:12and over and over and over and over
1:16:14again and did he get did he get heated
1:16:16he would get heated but he how about you
1:16:18you get heat no I mean I was you know I
1:16:21I was always the person in the family
1:16:23where like my brother Cody would
1:16:24interrupt my dad when he was talking uh
1:16:27my mom would interject and say you can't
1:16:29be saying that or whatever but for me I
1:16:31would just sit there and I would just
1:16:32let my dad talks that he could say
1:16:34everything that he wanted to say um and
1:16:36then if I saw that it was something that
1:16:37he wanted me to respond to then I'd
1:16:39respond but I would never be he to him
1:16:41sure especially if I felt like I was in
1:16:43the wrong right um do all as you think
1:16:45you were in the wrong I mean yeah to
1:16:47some some extent to some extent you know
1:16:49uh spending that amount of money it's
1:16:51idiotic to do that you know especially
1:16:53when you're not making 000 right when
1:16:56was the last time that you and your dad
1:16:57did have you know a heated conversation
1:17:01uh it would
1:17:02be Thursday Thursday uh
1:17:06because one of his rules was that I
1:17:08wasn't allowed to talk to the woman
1:17:10anymore that I had been talking to um
1:17:14but I guess you could say behind the
1:17:16scenes my mom would let me talk to her
1:17:19through her cell phone using Twitter um
1:17:23and you know she would tell me like look
1:17:25you got to keep it you have to keep it
1:17:28just basic because if you say anything
1:17:30or if you entice anything or do anything
1:17:33like that it might lead her
1:17:36to say something to like my dad or
1:17:39something like that because how would
1:17:40she get in touch with him because
1:17:41apparently when I was in Cornerstone my
1:17:44dad told her cuz cuz he had like hacked
1:17:48my computer or something like that and
1:17:49then he found everything Electronics guy
1:17:51like you and your brother except he's
1:17:53more of that like hacking level like
1:17:55able to do all that stuff so he had
1:17:57found you know um like just the stuff
1:18:01that was related to her and
1:18:04then you know he like he like erased my
1:18:06whole entire computer he put a password
1:18:08on it so it's like even when I came back
1:18:10up until Thursday like I wasn't able to
1:18:12go onto my own computer to look at
1:18:14anything I B he's treating you like a
1:18:16small child right and rightfully so I
1:18:19mean spending that amount of I was
1:18:20acting childish I I can kind of get it
1:18:23but um so yeah anyways on Thursday he
1:18:27had apparently found out that I was
1:18:29speaking to her again and when I came
1:18:32back on the 4th me my mom picked me up
1:18:36from the Cornerstone place and then me
1:18:38and my mom met my dad at California
1:18:41Pizza Grill or Kitchen in Waterford
1:18:43Lakes and he had this list front and
1:18:46back on a piece of paper of all the
1:18:49rules this is what's going to happen
1:18:51this is why I'm acting the way that I'm
1:18:52going to act I'm not going to be dad
1:18:54anymore I'm going to be
1:18:55Chad and I basically told him that I'm
1:19:00going to be I'm going to be present I'm
1:19:02going to do what I can I'm going to
1:19:03start to try and get jobs now I told him
1:19:05what my plan was um you know it wasn't
1:19:09really my intention to continue talking
1:19:11to this woman but it just kind of
1:19:14happened um and then because there was
1:19:16like that emotional connection I guess
1:19:18you could say between her and me like I
1:19:21I like you know it felt like like like a
1:19:23relationship you know I didn't wanted to
1:19:25stop cold turkey on it um so he had
1:19:29apparently found out and then happy
1:19:32right and one of the stipulations was
1:19:34that he told me at the dinner was if you
1:19:37speak to this woman again you're out of
1:19:39the house I'm kicking you out you can
1:19:41pack up your and then you're off my
1:19:44property MH and then because of the way
1:19:47that he used to be he had told me
1:19:50that basically if that happens that if I
1:19:53ever step back gone to his property that
1:19:55he would kill me so you know on
1:19:59Thursday
1:20:01um um that all happened and then I was
1:20:05in the process I was getting all my
1:20:06stuff together I was peace mealing it
1:20:08out to the car and then uh you know I
1:20:12had interview on Friday so I I had to
1:20:15get my suit out to my car I was trying
1:20:17to just get all of my Necessities as
1:20:19best as I could from you know a lifetime
1:20:21of living inside the house and then um
1:20:25um
1:20:27um my brother was working that night and
1:20:30I think he was working like one of his
1:20:32long nights but he ended up getting off
1:20:33early and then I had met with my brother
1:20:37before he came home just like in the
1:20:39neighborhood area and then it was just
1:20:42on the uh like the back side of the
1:20:45house like along I don't remember what
1:20:46that Road's called but it's like you
1:20:48take the bend where it has those two
1:20:49blinking lights and then it's just down
1:20:52that road away not for Christmas
1:20:55is it Fort Christmas when you still turn
1:20:57the corner I think so I'm not I think so
1:21:01well it was yeah it was just it was just
1:21:03down that road um and then I basically
1:21:07brought him up to speed and he had told
1:21:09me that he was going to do whatever what
1:21:11time was that you
1:21:13think uh God what time was that what
1:21:16what time did you go to back up a second
1:21:18I apologize you Mom and Dad go to
1:21:21California Pizza Kitchen in Waterford at
1:21:23what time oh that was all the way back
1:21:25on January
1:21:264th oh you said Thursday no that wasn't
1:21:28Thursday no no that was that was when I
1:21:31had come back from corner St and he was
1:21:33giving me the the rules okay okay so do
1:21:36Thursday then that we'll that that
1:21:38Thursday that you meet with Cody down
1:21:40the street this is this past Thursday
1:21:41yeah okay tell me tell me about that
1:21:43after you and your dad argue after me
1:21:45and my dad had argued and he had told me
1:21:48you know this is how it's going to be
1:21:49and you know all that stuff okay um this
1:21:52is at the house this past Thursday yes
1:21:55yeah okay cuz this is what now Saturday
1:21:57so yeah past Thursday I guess you can
1:21:59still say it um so then yeah I spoke
1:22:04with Cody he told me about all that he
1:22:07had given me his debit so that because I
1:22:10mean I don't have any money and I don't
1:22:11know where to go you know I've never
1:22:13been out of the house on my own um and
1:22:15then the last thing that I was told was
1:22:17just that you know basically once again
1:22:18then he'll take care of it because this
1:22:20is Cody this is Cody what time what time
1:22:22is this approximately
1:22:24I'd say a little
1:22:27after 10 10:30ish at night Thursday
1:22:31night Thursday night okay
1:22:34um and
1:22:36then yeah so then after that I just like

1:22:46for a number of hours and then I had
1:22:49remembered over some of the nights when
1:22:50I would work overnight but then I'd be
1:22:52able to come like get off early mhm that
1:22:54I could that the Publix's on 50 on
1:22:58Colonial the one that's by the Tractor
1:23:00Supply 419 yeah yeah mhm that that
1:23:03public it's like their guest Wi-Fi is
1:23:05always still active even when the store
1:23:06closes down so I was like okay well I'm
1:23:08going to go there cuz I have my Surface
1:23:10um and I can you know check on my emails
1:23:12I had to pull up the address to my
1:23:15interview because I don't have GPS um so
1:23:17then I would like write all that stuff
1:23:19down and then um I was basically just
1:23:23waiting in that part parking lot until I
1:23:26had to leave to go to the
1:23:28interview um and then I mean that was
1:23:31the last cuz again it's like no cell
1:23:33phone
1:23:34service uh I mean email was literally
1:23:37like my only form of communication and
1:23:40then you know yeah I just I didn't have
1:23:43any I didn't you know I was I went to
1:23:46the the Double Tree cuz I was like I
1:23:48can't just stay in my car again all
1:23:49night right and who how did you pay for
1:23:51that I paid for it with my with my debit
1:23:53card with your get a c yeah cuz I think
1:23:55there was like the 400 or 300 and
1:23:57something dollars still left on it okay
1:23:59um time did you get there the Double
1:24:04Tree I think I got there at
1:24:09around 3 or 400 p.m. Friday
1:24:13Friday and then yeah and then I was just
1:24:16I mean I would like go out to my car so
1:24:17I get like a bottle of water or
1:24:18something like that or I forgotten
1:24:20something you know just like necessity
1:24:22wise um and then I was just there whole
1:24:25night talk to Cody talk to Mom talk to
1:24:27Dad no I couldn't talk to anybody cuz I
1:24:29didn't have but you have the phone in
1:24:31the room oh yeah I did have the phone in
1:24:33the room but anybody from room no I just
1:24:37I didn't even honestly think about it
1:24:38cuz I was I was
1:24:40like you know away from a place where I
1:24:44had lived for 25 years or something like
1:24:46that I had never you know it's
1:24:47embarrassing as it is I'd never been on
1:24:49my own right the longest period i' ever
1:24:51been away from anybody is two weeks when
1:24:53we were up in Japan
1:24:55so I mean yeah but you had your brother
1:24:57with you so right right you have family
1:25:00with you but yeah I mean so I guess I
1:25:03was waiting to see what would happen
1:25:06with this job cuz I was told I'd either
1:25:07be told Tuesday or Thursday and then
1:25:11maybe I would try and Outreach or
1:25:13something like that or the last time um
1:25:17you know when it was like an issue where
1:25:18I didn't have my phone like my brother
1:25:20would email me so I was just thinking
1:25:22okay well I mean if anything he knows
1:25:24the situation he'll just email me so I
1:25:26checked my email a few times last night
1:25:28and then I just inevitably was able to
1:25:30to go to sleep um was it Thursday night
1:25:34that your dad told you that if you
1:25:36talked to the girl that he would kick
1:25:37you out or was that the conversation on
1:25:39the fourth at California that was on
1:25:41that was yeah on the 4th and then he
1:25:43just went through with it on Thursday
1:25:45okay so so Thursday you're home all day
1:25:49yes with your mom cuz she works at home
1:25:51correct yes your dad's at work what's
1:25:52his normal work hours uh he works
1:25:56until I think he had to go in early that
1:25:58day uh cuz he had to start like doing
1:26:00overtime or something like that and he
1:26:03normally works though from like 5: or 6:
1:26:05in the morning to I think he gets home
1:26:08between like 5:30 and 6:00 at night or
1:26:10something like that what time did he get
1:26:12home that night uh he got home at like
1:26:145:30 5:30 5:30 5:45 one of those two
1:26:18okay
1:26:20um comes were you there when he came in
1:26:23yes okay
1:26:25describe your dad normal come in uh when
1:26:28my dad normally comes in he'll come in
1:26:30he'll look into the uh the living room
1:26:33which is like there's the kitchen and
1:26:34then there's the living room where it's
1:26:36got like the long couch and whatnot
1:26:38that's inside and then there's the TV
1:26:41right there okay so he'll normally come
1:26:42in through there and then he'll talk or
1:26:45he'll ask his questions or he'll where
1:26:47you usually where were you out when he
1:26:48came in I was just in there I was just
1:26:50watching uh in the virtual reality where
1:26:52where you said you had that set up right
1:26:53right yeah I was just watching and
1:26:55that's in what room the living room the
1:26:56living room I was just watching YouTube
1:26:59at that time just like Dad talk to you
1:27:01yeah okay uh and that's
1:27:04where uh cuz he had I don't know how he
1:27:09found out but he had apparently found

1:27:14woman yeah and then uh he came in and
1:27:17then he asked me in a calmer State I
1:27:21guess you could say like basically the
1:27:24the leading question of you know why do
1:27:28you think we're about to have this
1:27:30conversation giving me I guess that
1:27:32opportunity to be honest and truthful to
1:27:34maybe tone it down a little bit I of
1:27:37course did what I always did where I
1:27:39kind of didn't admit to it um and then
1:27:44he he came out and he told me that i'
1:27:46had been doing that he had proof yeah um
1:27:49have an argument yeah and then you know
1:27:52he got
1:27:56just he had kind of reverted back to the
1:27:59way that he was when we were younger
1:28:00where you know he kind of you know
1:28:03pulled me up from the couch and then he
1:28:05was yelling at me to pack my up and
1:28:07just get out of the house that he was
1:28:08the one who had to be the hammer and
1:28:11that you know why am I making him have
1:28:12to go through this and all this other
1:28:14kind of stuff okay so you know basically
1:28:18I had so he's becoming violent like he's
1:28:21like the way you described when you when
1:28:23you when you and Cody were kids right
1:28:25what did he do um like I said he pulled
1:28:28me up from the couch just by like the
1:28:30shirt that I was wearing and then you
1:28:32know after that he was basically just
1:28:34having that yelling where it was kind of
1:28:37kind of like cracking you know like his
1:28:39voice would either crack or he would
1:28:41just he was basically just yelling at
1:28:43that point and monitoring your mom my
1:28:45mom was in her office okay because do
1:28:49she and I'm sorry to cut you off does
1:28:51Mom have like an office hours like she
1:28:53would get and do her work all day at a
1:28:55certain time I'm done doing my office
1:28:57work and I'm doing my family stuff not
1:28:58really okay she work there all the time
1:29:00right she would I think the the major
1:29:03thing that she would do is she would
1:29:04like cook dinner okay and then after
1:29:06that um she would go back into her
1:29:09office what time was dinner usually
1:29:10generally between like 7 like I guess
1:29:14usually around 7 700 7:30 is when we'd
1:29:16usually have dinner most night did you
1:29:18guys already have dinner that night no
1:29:20no I think what was she going to make I
1:29:23think she was going to make something
1:29:24with like chicken or something like that
1:29:25stir fry or something like that because
1:29:27Cody was working late so she didn't want
1:29:29to make something where cuz my dad would
1:29:30always buy meals that were for four so
1:29:33he we didn't want to pull out anything
1:29:35where there would be leftovers or
1:29:36something like that so but she had uh
1:29:39started making it yet I think she was
1:29:40defrosting the chicken and that was
1:29:42about what
1:29:45time uh what
1:29:48time I think she took those out like at
1:29:504 or something like that in the
1:29:52afternoon and at this time the the
1:29:54argument with dad is at what time the
1:29:56argument with Dad is
1:29:57like 6 6:30 or so 630 yeah okay
1:30:03um you have your argument and you pack
1:30:05your stuff I have my argument and then
1:30:07I'm packing my stuff I'm you know taking
1:30:09it out to the car it took me like a
1:30:11couple hours to get as much as I could
1:30:13just kind of about into there um and
1:30:16then yeah it's like mom's kind of just
1:30:19staying out of it to a certain degree
1:30:22because she knows like how dad can be
1:30:25and then uh yeah I
1:30:29mean you know I was and that's just
1:30:31pretty much where I was just kind of
1:30:32like waiting so you we outside did
1:30:35anybody call Cody and tell him what's
1:30:36going on no not I mean not that I know
1:30:38of okay and how did you know to meet
1:30:40Cody down the street it's because uh my
1:30:43mom had actually come and told me that
1:30:47you know she again she was trying to
1:30:48bridge the gap and then before I
1:30:51actually physically left I had told mom
1:30:55that you know I'm going to be close I'm
1:30:57going to be local I'm just going to be
1:30:58like down the street M and then so you
1:31:00left so I left and then time do you
1:31:02think you laugh about oh
1:31:07God if it's 6:30 the argument started
1:31:11how long do you think before you left
1:31:12I'd say
1:31:14like 9 or 9:30 or
1:31:18so and then
1:31:21uh yeah so then
1:31:25I mean yeah that's cuz I guess Mom I
1:31:28think it's because I think it's because
1:31:31um like Cody had called the house and
1:31:33then my mom picked up and then he was
1:31:36just letting like how we would normally
1:31:38do where like I got off early cuz he was
1:31:40supposed to work till like 11: or
1:31:41something like that but he came home
1:31:43early and then yeah he was come home
1:31:44early because of a fight you think I
1:31:47don't I don't I don't know honestly but
1:31:50uh he had I mean like that week even on
1:31:52the days that he was working until 3: he
1:31:54would come home at like noon or 1 or
1:31:56something that week so maybe it was just
1:31:57a slow week but apparently that had
1:32:01happened and then my mom was able to to
1:32:04tell him what was going right and then
1:32:06she told me um
1:32:10did Cody have the gun Affinity you have
1:32:13he didn't he liked guns like you did
1:32:15right yeah did he keep any guns on him I
1:32:17think Cody had his um he had his carry
1:32:22his pistol right and then he what what
1:32:25did he normally carry it was like
1:32:28uh Smith and Weston
1:32:31M9 Shield or armor or core core
1:32:35something okay and um then the only
1:32:39other gun that he had was his clay
1:32:41shooting shotgun okay did your dad car
1:32:43any guns my dad to my knowledge he has
1:32:46like two s ks's or something like that
1:32:49and then he has a Glock something you
1:32:52car the Glock looking normally normally
1:32:53not no no okay what else happened what
1:32:58else happened MH uh then after after
1:33:01after I had met with Cody then that's
1:33:03where you know I was again just kind of
1:33:05staying around that area and then I just
1:33:08went to to the Publix and then to my
1:33:10knowledge I mean that was like that was
1:33:12the last interaction that I had with my
1:33:14the three members of my family was was
1:33:16that um was about what time last time
1:33:20last time you saw your mom was what time
1:33:22approximately last time I saw my mom
1:33:25um I'm just trying to think uh last time
1:33:29that I saw my
1:33:32mom
1:33:37was God when did I say that I met Cody
1:33:40when
1:33:41I stopped by it was it was like 45
1:33:45minutes before that okay so so when Cody
1:33:49called the house you said your mom told
1:33:51him about the argument had and you told
1:33:53when you left you said you told your mom
1:33:55that you were going to be in the area
1:33:57how then does Cody now know where to
1:34:00meet you or if he's going to meet you
1:34:02yes because that's that's when my mom
1:34:04had come out to where I said that I was
1:34:06going to be on that road somewhere and
1:34:08then she was able to do that and then I
1:34:11guess that's how she knew like where I
1:34:13don't know if she talked to Cody again
1:34:14or if she was able to do that but then
1:34:16she was able to like pinpoint that area
1:34:19Okay so this would have been late at
1:34:21night right 8 9 10:00 somewhere on that
1:34:23thing yeah so dinner was over you guys
1:34:25already had dinner we hadn't had dinner
1:34:27because of the whole argument that was
1:34:28happening okay so yeah it never I don't
1:34:30think yeah the chicken never got past
1:34:32just being in the rappers overwear she
1:34:34would always defrost it
1:34:36so you leave go on your way Cody goes

1:46:31like it intersects with another another

1:46:36was still past that area but it was it

1:47:11conversation conversation was basically

1:47:20up to speed on like why I'm
1:47:23why I'm out here who brought him up his
1:47:24feet my mom oh so she talked to him yeah
1:47:27he told you that Mom had had talked to
1:47:29him right I just since the argument or
1:47:31when since since I had left you left
1:47:34you'd left the house approximately when
1:47:36I had left the house at
1:47:41like God when did I leave the house dark
1:47:44it was

1:47:49um it was after it was after 900 p.m.
1:47:53that I just don't remember so between 9
1:47:55and approximately 10:30 you leave right
1:47:58go down to S on uh Fort Christmas
1:48:01Christmas Cody comes and talks to you
1:48:03about 10 minutes at some point your mom
1:48:06has spoken to Cody based on what the
1:48:07conversation you have with him correct
1:48:09correct yeah and she told him what had
1:48:11happened between you and your dad right
1:48:13okay do you think that's why Cody left
1:48:15work I
1:48:17mean I why he left work no he never said
1:48:21why he left work but in my mind I was
1:48:24just thinking oh he had been let off
1:48:25work early like three three times
1:48:27already this week so I was like 10 15
1:48:29minutes you talk to Cody right what's he
1:48:31driving uh he drives in 96 or 97 97
1:48:35Honda Accord okay yeah um you have the
1:48:39conversation and he leaves to go home
1:48:41right and you leave to go where and then
1:48:43I stay in that general area just so that
1:48:47if anything happens somebody like knows
1:48:49where I am okay how long would you stay
1:48:51there i' stayed there
1:48:56for I mean like a couple hours I would
1:48:58say same area where you were talking
1:49:00about like I would go like kind of just
1:49:01up and down that road a little bit just
1:49:03that my car isn't just like sitting
1:49:04there but for the most yeah I mean I was
1:49:06staying in that general area and then I
1:49:08decided to go to Publix Publix which was
1:49:11about what
1:49:12time
1:49:16like between like midnight and 1 I think
1:49:19yeah and you go to Publix midnight 1 and
1:49:21how long you stayed there till I stay
1:49:23there until
1:49:25like 7 I think in the morning well as
1:49:29best as I could yeah I mean never
1:49:31comfortable sleep in the car where you
1:49:32park at do uh
1:49:35on it's like on the on the side of it
1:49:38where like there's the back end of
1:49:40Publix where like all the shipments and
1:49:42stuff come in and then you go around
1:49:43that corner and then there's that line
1:49:45on the on the Publix end of it or the
1:49:47tractor Farm Supply end public end so
1:49:49there's some parking there around that
1:49:50side yeah I'm familiar I used to live
1:49:52that
1:49:53that area there's a side parking as you
1:49:55come up forward you make the left you go
1:49:57in front of public the ice cream place
1:49:58is out front but you're on the side of
1:50:01the building right did any deputies or
1:50:03anybody ever come by or anybody that
1:50:04worked there any delivery trucks I saw
1:50:07delivery trucks like in the morning in

1:50:14then that I just drive over to where my
1:50:16uh my interview and I'm sorry I'm just

1:53:08you wear what did you wear the interview
1:53:10I wore my uh suit uh it's just like a
1:53:14Men's Warehouse gray suit sure like um
1:53:17brown shoes Okay um and you said the
1:53:20interview was from what time to what
1:53:21time and I'm sorry to repeat my
1:53:24interview was scheduled for 10:00 in the
1:53:25morning but early right cuz I was told
1:53:27that I had to print out like my resumés
1:53:30and my other things but then I wasn't
1:53:31able to the night before so I had
1:53:33brought my Surface thing that I could
1:53:35print it out earlier so I got there at 9
1:53:38uh or like maybe a you out that I
1:53:40actually didn't I mean they said that
1:53:41they couldn't but they already had
1:53:43copies of it so I was able I didn't have
1:53:45to worry about that so you had to
1:53:46interview and it started approximately
1:53:48what time like 9:40 9:40 and went to
1:53:51about when uh I think it was about an
1:53:54hour so like 10:30 10:40 or so they
1:53:57didn't offer your job I said they may
1:53:58have something coming for it's it seemed
1:54:01like promising but then they said that
1:54:02they had one more person interview on
1:54:05Tuesday or Wednesday of this coming week
1:54:07so but they said that I would hear
1:54:09something from them regardless like
1:54:10Tuesday or THS I want to jump back just
1:54:12a second when you left the house right
1:54:14what were you wearing uh when I left the
1:54:17house I was just
1:54:18wearing
1:54:20um like my
1:54:22uh like black pants and then just jeans
1:54:25or just like like a workout pants kind
1:54:27of deal what no just yeah just like just
1:54:29like workout pants workout pants okay
1:54:32and then I um I just had a black shirt
1:54:35on and then
1:54:37uh was I wearing a jacket and I think
1:54:40just like one of my sweaters or jackets
1:54:42or
1:54:43something and you changed where to go to
1:54:45the uh in the parking lot at the at the
1:54:48the place at the PO okay you go to the
1:54:51the interview let's you're there till
1:54:53maybe 11:00 approximately where'd you go
1:54:55from there from there um I pretty much
1:54:59just drove around I was thinking of like
1:55:03passing by the house but I I inevitably
1:55:06decided against it and then I was I
1:55:09thought that I had to do like a skills
1:55:11check off for the same exact things then
1:55:14I had switched into into just like
1:55:15Scrubs okay um but then that didn't end
1:55:19up needing to be done today or um on the
1:55:21same day uhhuh and then I was pretty
1:55:24much just driving around I ended up
1:55:25going
1:55:26to Waterford or I I had gone back to the
1:55:29Public's area at one point M um because
1:55:33I wanted to see if I
1:55:35could um get my phone service back um
1:55:40but then I was told that I'm not like a
1:55:42a registered user did you go to a phone
1:55:43store somewhere yeah which one the
1:55:45Verizon Verizon which is right there in
1:55:48the same place in the in the um publ
1:55:51spaza right it's like
1:55:52tractor it's right next to the Zach it's
1:55:55where the family dentistry oh yeah they
1:55:57built a new building up there it's like
1:55:59like a little little strip uh four five
1:56:01store there okay no exactly what you're
1:56:02talking were you turnning to go to
1:56:03Corner Lakes Middle School right okay so
1:56:06talk to somebody yeah I had tried to get
1:56:08my phone service back and then guy or
1:56:09girl it was a guy what is that like um
1:56:13he was a young guy like maybe in his
1:56:15early 20s he had black hair I think he
1:56:18had like a
1:56:20goatee um
1:56:22what time was that approximately
1:56:25uh I think that was that was the first
1:56:27place that I went to when I came back
1:56:31so if I got out of there around 11 maybe
1:56:35like 12 or 12:30 or something like that
1:56:38in the afternoon I think okay couldn't
1:56:40get the phone because why because I was
1:56:42told that I wasn't a registered user cuz
1:56:45it was under my dad's name and
1:56:46everything and then um I was told I was
1:56:50a registered user and then that that
1:56:53basically they can't do anything unless
1:56:55he gives the sign off to me right the
1:56:58account holder has to approve of it
1:56:59right right didn't work it didn't work
1:57:01and then you went where and then after
1:57:03that I went back uh and then I think I
1:57:07just sat in my car for a little while
1:57:08cuz I was just thinking okay well how am
1:57:09I going to do this with everything that
1:57:11just happened and
1:57:14um from there that's where I think I
1:57:17decided that I was going to maybe drive
1:57:20by the house did you go right by did I I
1:57:23didn't drive by the house I like was
1:57:26starting to go there down that Fort
1:57:28Christmas Road and then I was just like
1:57:30I'm just I'm not going to I'm not going
1:57:31to do it cuz as far as I know it's like
1:57:35you know Dad's probably at work I don't
1:57:37know if Cody works again today and you
1:57:40know just like with everything that had
1:57:41been happen when you drove down there
1:57:43yeah see strange no I I had seen um I
1:57:47just seen like a couple of cars like
1:57:49pass by me but cars like just standard
1:57:52like just a little bit of traffic but
1:57:54then apart from that no I mean nothing
1:57:56how close did you get to the
1:57:58house uh I I mean like a couple miles
1:58:03okay you leave there and you go where
1:58:07and then after I choose not to do that
1:58:09then

1:58:35yeah okay so you're going back and forth
1:58:37on the 408 right okay and then I missed
1:58:39the Golden Rod exit and
1:58:41then I like don't even think to get off
1:58:43on samron so then I end up like needing
1:58:45to go off on Crystal Lake Drive M and
1:58:49then I connect up with 5050 and then I
1:58:51just go all the way back
1:58:52the the Golden Rod Road right but
1:58:55um um then I stop off and I just I see
1:59:01if if there was like any email updates
1:59:03or anything like that and then check
1:59:04your email yeah nothing and then there
1:59:06was nothing so then I was like oh crap
1:59:08it's not like today but you've got to
1:59:10pay for things you've got some money
1:59:12right in your account right you had
1:59:13Cody's card today you still have your
1:59:16dad's card yes okay so I had that okay
1:59:18do you use any of them I had used Cody's
1:59:21card to pay for one of my bills that was
1:59:24outstanding uh it was just one of those
1:59:27from that site it was just like a a bill
1:59:29that had backed was there
1:59:32$599.99 okay um Cody you know you're
1:59:34doing that yeah he said it's okay to do
1:59:36that he said to use this to like survive
1:59:40until things can get figured out because
1:59:42he knows that I only have you know a few
1:59:44hundred to my name what he told you
1:59:46about that night that you use his card
1:59:48and pay off what needed to be paid off
1:59:50yeah he he said to use it for like
1:59:53necessity did he give it to you yes he
1:59:55gave it to you so here take this and
1:59:56just whatever but that was normal for
1:59:57him though he was he was part he was fot

2:00:02so then after the realization I didn't
2:00:05have to do any skills check off then
2:00:08after that I go then after that oh then

2:01:38just shoulder bag uhhuh and then it has

2:01:51protein bars um just some like ration

2:07:56he had told me the reason why like I had
2:07:58been kicked out um but he really didn't

2:08:08miffed a little bit because you know he
2:08:10had just gotten off work and now he has
2:08:11to go deal with this and then after that
2:08:14I mean it was just he gave me the debit
2:08:16card to say you know to use this in case
2:08:18of emergencies and then uh I mean that
2:08:21was pretty much it because I don't know
2:08:23if like he had already said that he was
2:08:25on his way home or if there were
2:08:27expectations like for a time with him
2:08:29for making it home but what was your
2:08:31demeanor like what did Cody see you as
2:08:33like were you SC upet you I was scared
2:08:37because I mean like I said it's the
2:08:38first time that i' had been out of the
2:08:39house you know so you were scared of
2:08:42what being on your own or did your
2:08:44father say or do anything to scare you
2:08:46he had threatened me that if I stepped
2:08:48foot back on his property not the house
2:08:50but if I stepped foot back on his
2:08:51property that he would kill me and like
2:08:53he had he said those specific words yes
2:08:55did you tell that to Cody that your
2:08:57father told you that no I didn't so
2:08:59you're afraid of him oh yeah you you are
2:09:03actually afraid that he could kill you
2:09:05yeah and it's also because like in the
2:09:09past like two weeks before I got kicked
2:09:12out my dad was going through like a lot
2:09:15of episodes where he was losing his
2:09:18temper a lot yelling a lot especially
2:09:19when me and Cody weren't at the house
2:09:22and um who's he yelling at my mom so was
2:09:24he being violent to your mom yeah like I
2:09:26think physically or just emotionally
2:09:29both put his hands on her he had bruised
2:09:32her left arm by grabbing it um and then
2:09:35apparently she had said that on one of
2:09:37the nights that um they were in the
2:09:40kitchen together and then he was like
2:09:42throwing food at her and then banged her
2:09:44head against the wall a couple times so
2:09:47and I'm not let me speak bad of your dad
2:09:49but he's kind of a violent guy he's yeah
2:09:51I mean you have a reason to be afraid of
2:09:52him and then the thing that I was
2:09:54getting to was that apparently my mom
2:09:56was so scared at one point cuz it had
2:09:58been a while since he had been like this
2:10:01that she had taken
2:10:02like a couple or a number of voice memos
2:10:06on her phone whenever he would like come
2:10:08in and then start like she knew that you
2:10:10know some like he was going to start to
2:10:12get upset and that on multiple
2:10:15occasions um he had told her that if you
2:10:19or he had told her that basically if I
2:10:21up sorry for the language but that
2:10:23if I if I screw up he's going to kill me
2:10:27and then he's going to kill her he said
2:10:29those specific words because he blames
2:10:31everything that happens negatively with
2:10:33me and with Jason not with Cody but with
2:10:36me and Jason on her because we're her
2:10:40favorites so you have a reasonable
2:10:43belief in your mind that your dad could
2:10:44could hurt you yes he could hurt your
2:10:46mom yes he could baby hurt Jason yes
2:10:50he's a violent guy I'm sorry I've been
2:10:52this a long time he sounds like a
2:10:54violent guy yeah quick to lose his
2:10:56temper with you over minuscule stuff
2:10:58minuscule stuff yeah I get the point
2:10:59he's upset about the amount of money I
2:11:00do get that but physically he's abusive
2:11:05yeah and it's kind of embarrassing as
2:11:07you're an adult male right now he's been
2:11:09Abus of you for years has he not yeah I
2:11:11mean more more mentally over the course
2:11:15but it has been to the point where you
2:11:17as a 29y old male right 29 29 that your
2:11:21afraid that your father could kill you
2:11:23yeah and I mean again it's
2:11:26like you know at the house I mean I have
2:11:29like no access to anything so I mean
2:11:31it's literally just like me and you know
2:11:33I like I told you access to anything you
2:11:36mean what like you know anything to
2:11:38defend myself you know like I had guns
2:11:40sold all my guns you sold does does Cody
2:11:43have guns in the house he does but
2:11:44they're like locked up somewhere dad
2:11:47have guns in the house again yeah but
2:11:49they're locked up somewhere and you
2:11:50don't have access to them I don't even
2:11:51have a house key um I don't have a house
2:11:53key I don't have any keys to the the the
2:11:56doors inside the house all I had was my
2:11:58car key that's all that he gave me and
2:12:00that night when you argued with your
2:12:01father and he said he grabbed your shirt
2:12:04and pulled you off the couch did he do
2:12:06anything else to you physically no no he
2:12:08didn't like pursue it anymore he was
2:12:10just did you tell Cody that he acted
2:12:12that way towards you Cody had no idea
2:12:14that there was a heated physical just
2:12:18the argument that you needed to get out
2:12:20because you were talking about girl
2:12:23right
2:12:27um we've come and talked to you you
2:12:30wrote up here voluntarily with us to
2:12:32talk to
2:12:34us why do you think we're having this
2:12:36conversation I honestly don't know but
2:12:39I'm pretty freaked out at this point
2:12:43because you know it's uh I mean I know
2:12:47like how the situation was when I left
2:12:50and
2:12:51you know I thought that it was weird to
2:12:53begin with that I hadn't gotten
2:12:55any communication whatsoever I mean like
2:12:58I like I had told you my brother Cody
2:13:00the last time um when I was away from
2:13:03the house that he was the one who
2:13:04outreached to me via email because again
2:13:06I didn't have my phone or anything like
2:13:08that
2:13:10so I mean I thought that it was weird
2:13:12but I had just been kind of putting it
2:13:13out of my mind thinking okay you had to
2:13:15go to work or they were busy or
2:13:16something when you when you were in your
2:13:18room the hotel room hanging out watching
2:13:20TV
2:13:22no I didn't turn on the TV I had on Just
2:13:23Like Music uh on the in the background
2:13:26just kind of helped me go to sleep are
2:13:28you sure about that because the hotel
2:13:30it's weird and I I didn't know this I
2:13:32used to travel a lot for work they can
2:13:34tell because of the the TV every channel
2:13:38you've been on when the TV gets turned
2:13:40off I guess they have a problem yeah I
2:13:42guess they have a problem uh with people
2:13:43stealing from that oh wow so those
2:13:45things are well monitored even though
2:13:47even it looks like a cheap generic I
2:13:50never even touched TV remote I didn't I
2:13:52didn't turn on that TV at all I was just
2:13:54using my service to like watch YouTube
2:13:55initially and then
2:13:59um um and then I you to using a surface
2:14:02to to check things so there'll be a
2:14:04history of everywhere you went on it
2:14:06right yeah
2:14:09okay as a as a child always told the
2:14:12truth always is the best thing to do

2:14:16and accidents happen and things in the

2:14:46act and the way they they talk to me and
2:14:48the way they answer questions there's

2:18:26car and that's I mean I mean I didn't

2:18:32come back maybe besides that I mean I
2:18:35didn't you saw nothing that was out of
2:18:37the ordinary no in the Christmas area or
2:18:41419 area no I mean did you even get up
2:18:45to the uh Lake Mills Fort Christmas area
2:18:47where that guy's winking lights are no
2:18:50no when I came back I didn't come up to

2:19:37house based on of my knowledge right now
2:19:40and you're afraid to say it you're
2:19:42afraid to to come back and say that I
2:19:45was a victim I was hurt I had something
2:19:48that happened there that I don't want
2:19:49youself because it's something may be
2:19:52embarrassing or not good
2:19:55but I know a lot more than than I can
2:19:57let on right now and things you're not
2:19:59telling I can't help you if you won't

2:20:09uh when I had come back that other time

2:20:54to my old neighborhoods and I've lived a
2:20:56couple places in Central Florida in the
2:20:5823 years I've been here I see something
2:21:01major going on I get on my phone or I
2:21:02get on my computer some point look what
2:21:03I wonder what's happened by in my
2:21:04neighborhood and look did that even
2:21:07spark your attention I was a dig there's
2:21:10a digital footprint of of what where I
2:21:14went on my phone this right here phone
2:21:17they can tell me I looked I looked at
2:21:20these map on my phone because it's on
2:21:21there the memory's there you can't
2:21:23delete it you
2:21:25can't you came back to the neighborhood
2:21:28you saw some things that are really out
2:21:30of the ordinary and I don't believe for
2:21:32a second that you thought that I'm not
2:21:34going to like what's going on what
2:21:35happened to my neighborhood I I I mean I
2:21:38didn't search it up on anything on any
2:21:41of the devices that I have did you
2:21:42search it somewhere
2:21:45else remember like I said I know things
2:21:48that you don't know and Honesty will get
2:21:51you all the the things I can do for you
2:21:54be honest I can't deal with someone who
2:21:56lies to me but I'll deal with someone
2:21:58and help them till the end no matter

2:23:00who was involved it was just like the
2:23:01this is the preliminary was on one of
2:23:03the news
2:23:04stations um what what was what was what
2:23:07was the site you searched I can't I
2:23:09honestly can't remember I think it was
2:23:11one of the Wes but and you saw the story
2:23:14because we've seen the same stories
2:23:15you've seen the story because there's a
2:23:17thing that will tell me how long of the
2:23:19of the time you spent on that you saw
2:23:22what happened yeah I was on there for
2:23:24like 20 seconds and what was your
2:23:26thoughts when you reviewed that story I
2:23:28was freaking out and I like I
2:23:31didn't I was just like blank I didn't
2:23:33know what to do Now's the Time now now
2:23:38is the time so what do you think
2:23:39happened be
2:23:42honest I think that there was something
2:23:44that obviously happened at the house
2:23:47tell me what happened I don't know what
2:23:49happened I know better listen to me I

2:24:01left the home that you're either afraid
2:24:04of or embarrassed to talk

2:24:16left that house because you didn't leave
2:24:19with everything being okay

2:24:32involved like what what brought us to
2:24:34that home no

2:24:48couple hours you you admit that you've
2:24:50looked at at a site and seen something

2:24:56just a general area of a specific

2:25:02a driveway or something whose driveway

2:25:06say I don't know I saw like like there
2:25:09was like a gate there was a gate and
2:25:11then I saw like that there was like two
2:25:13cars but then I didn't see anything past
2:25:15that okay well was that driveway and
2:25:18gate your
2:25:19home I I I honestly did not fixate on it
2:25:23for like a long period of time I saw
2:25:25like the one with an actual like
2:25:28gate you've been here with us you think
2:25:31something bad has happened at your house
2:25:34and to date so long you haven't even

2:28:05having to give you money and there's a
2:28:07significant debt to people $200,000 I
2:28:10don't know what I do I mean mortgage
2:28:12yeah I get it or something like that or
2:28:14or a medical bill for my child yeah I
2:28:16get it but talking to some girl you know
2:28:18in Bulgaria you you know you you you hit
2:28:21it right on head you were embarrassed
2:28:22about it and you have nothing to be
2:28:23embarrassed about about and you said you
2:28:24had a connection with her sure
2:28:27and here here it is man I want to help
2:28:31you she want to help you you got to you
2:28:33got to you got to come to me with the
2:28:35truth now because I I already know the
2:28:37truth I

2:29:29said when you I mean it's like I'm I

2:29:45even say the words well what would give
2:29:48me a roundabout what you're saying
2:29:50thinking that somebody in my family's
2:29:57dead and how does that make you feel if
2:29:59you think if you're thinking that I have
2:30:02absolutely
2:30:06no ability to to comprehend the words
2:30:10cuz like I said I've been there for my
2:30:13whole entire life and even though
2:30:15there's been struggles and everything
2:30:16like that there has never been any
2:30:19issues
2:30:21there's never been the struggles or the
2:30:24issues like happened Thursday never for
2:30:27you I I I believe you 100% I believe
2:30:29it's never been like that but something
2:30:31happened Thursday unlike anything you've
2:30:34ever experienced in 29 years of your
2:30:35life never and maybe you felt that was
2:30:37Rock Bottom for you you were getting
2:30:39kicked out of the house your father gave
2:30:40you an ultimatum I mean that's you know
2:30:44you're already dealing with the the debt
2:30:46and you know now you have to stop
2:30:48talking to this girl and now you're
2:30:49being kicked out of the home I mean
2:30:52that's I I can understand how you would
2:30:56feel I mean that you'd want to lash out
2:30:59or you know if something happened you'd
2:31:01want to defend yourself
2:31:03sure absolutely but we need to know what
2:31:06happened I mean I know I can tell that
2:31:09you guys are like leading me into a
2:31:11certain way of
2:31:13what only thing we're leading you to is
2:31:15wan to get the truth from you not trying
2:31:17to make you say something that's not
2:31:19true that's not accurate the truth the
2:31:23end that's it that's all we want is the
2:31:26absolute truth because it's got to come
2:31:28from you it can't come from us it can't
2:31:30come from us do we know what happened
2:31:33yeah we we we already know what happened
2:31:35but it has to still come from you the
2:31:37truth because the par is
2:31:40involved that's in all cases you want
2:31:42the truth from I don't want somebody to
2:31:43say something that's not true absolutely
2:31:46not I want them to say this is what
2:31:49happened and here here's why it happened
2:31:51cuz some sometimes there are things that

2:31:54justifiable I'm dealing with a case
2:31:55right now where some people were were
2:31:58jumped in a house there was a shooting
2:32:01and the people involved in the shooting
2:32:02are not going to be charged because they
2:32:04have the right to defend themselves
2:32:06nothing in the in in in the state or
2:32:08federal law says you have to be
2:32:11seriously physically harmed or or or or
2:32:13killed nothing does you have a right to
2:32:16defend yourself absolutely you have of
2:32:19sure
2:32:21you being hard or your life but Grant I
2:32:23just need you to come it's it's there
2:32:25it's there I can see it it's on the tip
2:32:27of your tongue you want to say let me
2:32:30tell you what what happened I'm being
2:32:32honest I think you're being honest about
2:32:3495% of the story I truly do believe

2:32:44can help justify their story once they

2:35:22everything that something happened to
2:35:25him who's him

2:35:36you do anything to your mother no did
2:35:38you do anything to your father
2:35:42no you have any reason to believe that
2:35:44anybody else would harm them
2:35:49no the only thing that I was told was
2:35:51that Cody would take care of it for
2:35:53me that's all that I know but you didn't
2:35:56tell Cody what your father said to you
2:35:58correct correct so when Cody made those
2:36:01comments to you what do you believe he
2:36:03meant by that have you guys ever talked
2:36:07about that he was going
2:36:09to I thought he was just going to do

2:36:19anything happened in the home to bring
2:36:21law enforcement there what would you

2:36:41dad and why would you think
2:36:44that to protect me or to help me or to
2:36:48do something with me
2:36:52so you're telling me you did not shoot

2:37:03can say Well when law enforcement
2:37:06arrived that's what they
2:37:11found so you're the only outstanding
2:37:14child you're the one that's been having
2:37:17problems with your dad you're the one
2:37:19that we haven't been able to find for
2:37:21two days do you understand now why would
2:37:23we would be questioning you about this
2:37:26yeah but I mean I
2:37:28wouldn't like I mean I wouldn't be
2:37:31saying like all like I don't know the
2:37:34way to I I don't I don't I don't know
2:37:37like what to even
2:37:40say we're trying to see if there's
2:37:42anything else that you've left out
2:37:44during the night from when you first
2:37:47came home and confronted your father
2:37:50or when he confronted you until the time
2:37:51you
2:37:52left that you've not told
2:37:57us there's no there was
2:38:01nothing
2:38:04uh there was
2:38:07nothing to that level of Confrontation
2:38:10between him and
2:38:13I so if anything happened in the home
2:38:15you believe it would be Cody and him yes

2:38:34the news has said correct you know what

2:38:38first story that I saw and then I didn't

2:38:42story say that there was a shooting in
2:38:46the sultan circle area and the investig
2:38:49is ongo okay and what did they say they
2:38:51say the status of the people inside the
2:38:53house what they say cuz all the news
2:38:54have reported the same thing every one
2:38:56of them the sheriff has has held a press
2:38:57conference the sheriff has provided
2:38:59information to the
2:39:01media and it's all it's known all what
2:39:04has happened in the home all that I had
2:39:06all that I saw was literally like the
2:39:08paragraph and then the last sentence was
2:39:10there's an investigation ongoing and
2:39:12then I didn't you saw more because at
2:39:14Panera when you said you pulled it up
2:39:20they they
2:39:22um they um had more information then
2:39:26they had more information they just
2:39:27there's been a shooting there's a lot
2:39:29more information was given it was all
2:39:30over news by by that time the new news
2:39:34report exactly what had happened we
2:39:37know
2:39:40that Cody didn't shoot your dad we know
2:39:44Cody didn't shoot your mom we know Cody
2:39:47didn't shoot himself
2:39:51there's something and you still haven't
2:39:52asked us the of them or anything that's
2:39:55because I'm I'm I mean I don't know what
2:39:58the normal proceedings are but I don't I
2:40:00mean I the normal proceedings are for
2:40:01you to be honest about what happened and
2:40:04then we help you understand everything
2:40:05that's going that's going to going on
2:40:06from here on out of what our
2:40:08responsibilities are and we don't
2:40:10believe you're being honest we feel that
2:40:12you are leaving something out about what
2:40:14happened in that
2:40:15home and the evidence tells us what
2:40:17happened in the home but you need to
2:40:19fill in the

2:45:36the Twitter thing on cell service on the
2:45:37LTE at home right okay and then when you
2:45:41are at the Publix right you're on what

2:45:49it Panera yes was on the Wi-Fi both your
2:45:53cell phone and the surface just the
2:45:55surface I I had on the Panera it was
2:45:58just on the surface

2:46:09connected to Wi-Fi and how long you were

2:54:52wine doing her thing and she's shocked
2:54:55you just got to step over and tell me

3:10:32leave and then so is it true that you
3:10:34still met Cody up the block or was that
3:10:36no no so you didn't meet him up the
3:10:38block so why did you tell us

3:11:38have plans to make amends for the things

3:11:48um and he's he's yelling yeah he's
3:11:51heated are you yelling back at him no I
3:11:55never yelled at my
3:11:57dad and are you sitting on the couch
3:11:59downstairs like you said I was in the
3:12:01living room yeah and at what point does
3:12:03he put his hands on
3:12:06you it's just a I mean it's like maybe
3:12:09five minutes into the
3:12:11conversation I mean there's not there
3:12:12wasn't really anything that was a
3:12:15trigger that I can think of what was
3:12:17your reaction when he grabbed your shirt
3:12:19and pulled you
3:12:21up I mean
3:12:25uh I mean I had always been passive so I
3:12:29mean I didn't really I didn't I didn't
3:12:31fight back or anything like that I just
3:12:34tried to get my my grounding and
3:12:37then and then we were just standing
3:12:41and you know just continued
3:12:44on and then what and then after that
3:12:49uh I started the whole process
3:12:52of gathering everything and where's your
3:12:56mom at this point she was still in her
3:12:57office did she intervene at all she had
3:13:00gotten up to say that you know like you
3:13:03need like you need to settle down or you
3:13:05you know some some sort of diffusing
3:13:07statement that she always used to make
3:13:09and then my dad yelled at her to stay
3:13:12out of this and then she just went back
3:13:15into there
3:13:17okay and then what what happened
3:13:20next
3:13:26um I mean then it was just like it was
3:13:30just a lot
3:13:32of like just it was just a lot of
3:13:35yelling and confrontation between me and
3:13:37Dad but it wasn't anything more physical
3:13:41about
3:13:45it and like I said I was just going up
3:13:48and
3:13:49about you know getting my stuff and
3:13:51taking it out to my car and getting back
3:13:53whatever I could whatever I could
3:13:56gather and what did your dad do while
3:13:58you were doing that he was just
3:14:00following me around just making sure you
3:14:02were gathering your stuff to get out my
3:14:04my possessions and not taking anything
3:14:06of his and how long did that go on Bes
3:14:10before Cody shows
3:14:11up I mean that was
3:14:13like for three 3 4 hours or something
3:14:16like that so you did that for 3 hours
3:14:19Gathering your stuff and dealing with
3:14:22Dad and cuz it wasn't just like he pack
3:14:25up those two little bags you brought
3:14:27those three hours yeah he wouldn't just
3:14:31I mean I went onto my computer to to
3:14:33back up some stuff onto like some Flash
3:14:35dbes and I mean all that other stuff but
3:14:38it wasn't just like with him where I
3:14:42could
3:14:43just go and do my thing you know I mean
3:14:46he would stop me and and then we
3:14:48would talk
3:14:50for like an extended period of time and
3:14:53then I would start to do my thing again
3:14:55and then it would stop again and I mean
3:14:57that's all that was was your father
3:14:58wearing this yeah and what about that
3:15:02gun on his waist no he didn't have that
3:15:05on no is this normal no I mean I had I
3:15:09hadn't seen him have his gun
3:15:12since
3:15:14since like high school so he doesn't
3:15:17walk around like this normally no why do
3:15:18you think he would be like
3:15:21this I don't know if it's because of
3:15:24what he had told me that if I came back
3:15:27that he would kill
3:15:28me and like you said you're afraid of
3:15:31him yeah but we're here we're here to
3:15:35this this this this is the person that
3:15:39is coming to to solve the problems for
3:15:42you or came home to solve the problems
3:15:44there's the one who always sticks up to
3:15:45you including talking to the gold she
3:15:48talked to the girl in Bulgaria didn't
3:15:49she yeah she had conversations said that
3:15:51you you're not a bad guy and how this
3:15:54breakup basically his effect you had did
3:15:56you told him it was bad here's the
3:15:59problem his
3:16:01dad this one's behind you support you
3:16:04that one's behind you supports you this
3:16:06one I'm sure cares about you but it's
3:16:07upset CU like you said you have ruined
3:16:11his plans for retirement so he can't
3:16:13retire because of the financial loss

3:17:10does he
3:17:11enter through the garage where does he
3:17:14Park his car under the
3:17:17the awning thing outside not in the
3:17:19garage right so do you see him walk
3:17:23in or hear him come in no so you're
3:17:27upstairs maybe or where are you when he
3:17:29comes home when I when he came home I
3:17:32was
3:17:32doing I was uh Gathering the some of the
3:17:36like Power Bars into my
3:17:40little shoulder Satchel thing and where
3:17:42are the power bars in the kitchen or in
3:17:43the kitchen so you see him come in I I
3:17:47hear the door but then that's it and
3:17:49then when do you see him Bally I see him
3:17:52when he walks into the kitchen and what
3:17:54do you guys what what have
3:17:56said I B he asked me what I'm doing and
3:17:59I basically tell him the quick short
3:18:02story because at the time my dad and my
3:18:05mom were talking where were they they
3:18:07were in her office okay and what is the
3:18:09short story you tell that Cody Co that
3:18:12dad caught me still talking to the girl
3:18:16that had caused all the problems and
3:18:19that uh he was kicking me out of the
3:18:21house because I had broken his rule did
3:18:24you tell Cody that he threatened to kill
3:18:26you if you came back
3:18:27home no I still didn't tell Cody about
3:18:30that I just I had told Cody previously
3:18:33when I went to Cornerstone that that's
3:18:38what uh dad was going to do if I had
3:18:41made any more mistakes not the specific
3:18:43one that I had caused but if I had made
3:18:46any more mistakes
3:18:47and then Cody told me that he was going
3:18:49to do that when I went into one of the
3:18:51side offices with him before they
3:18:54officially Dro me off when you went to
3:18:56Cornerstone right so your dad had told
3:18:59you in the past before that he would
3:19:00kill you right for what reason
3:19:04for if I basically did anything related
3:19:07to this again causing costing him a lot
3:19:09of money and Cody knew about that right
3:19:13he didn't he just didn't know about
3:19:17um the one that was just said whether or
3:19:21not
3:19:22he knew from like the paper that my dad
3:19:26had written out of all the consequences
3:19:28and everything like that when did your
3:19:31dad write this paper before they uh came
3:19:34to get me on the 4th I mean I don't know
3:19:37the exact time do you know where the
3:19:39paper is or what it's written on it's
3:19:41written on like a uh green like a
3:19:44greenish yellow college rule just piece
3:19:46of paper and pen in the office or a
3:19:49bedroom or I don't I don't know where he
3:19:51keeps all of his
3:19:52stuff all right so what else do you and
3:19:56Cody talk about so then after talking
3:19:59about that he says that he'll take care
3:20:00of it and then him and my
3:20:03dad they're the ones
3:20:05that always yell and raise their voices
3:20:08and everything like that so did your dad
3:20:10eventually enter the kitchen or did Cody
3:20:12go to your dad in the office no my dad
3:20:14came in when he heard that me and Cody
3:20:16were talking talking and what what was
3:20:18the conversation then when they started
3:20:21to talk I just left the room and I just
3:20:23went back upstairs so you didn't hear
3:20:26what they talked about I mean not in any
3:20:28it was it was more just that he was
3:20:32defending that it's just you know that I
3:20:34just did this and that it's not like
3:20:36it's costing any money were were they
3:20:39yelling did they raise their voice they
3:20:41were talking they were they were yelling
3:20:44did you hear any threats or
3:20:47my dad had said
3:20:49that
3:20:53um that he was that everybody had agreed
3:20:57that if I had done this that I would
3:21:00have to go that there wasn't any more
3:21:03wiggle room or second chances or
3:21:05anything like
3:21:07that and then
3:21:11uh you know he came around to the base
3:21:14of the staircase and then he told me
3:21:16that I need to go your father did yeah
3:21:20and then I told him that I was just
3:21:21trying to pick up the last few things
3:21:24that I needed
3:21:25too uh there was like a bag of my like a
3:21:28a trash bag of like my
3:21:30clothes um that I had still not unpacked
3:21:34from when I got back from Cornerstone
3:21:37that I just you know had to gather and
3:21:39put into my car you know all that just
3:21:41random
3:21:42stuff and then
3:21:44um I don't know what time time I
3:21:46actually left
3:21:48but I think it was closer to
3:21:51like midnight or
3:21:54something and when you left where was
3:21:57your mother when I left my mom was still
3:22:00just in her office and where was your
3:22:02dad dad and Cody were just yelling
3:22:04inside the kitchen
3:22:07guell not really yelling anymore but

3:22:12were it was basically just the same
3:22:14exact conversation that had been going
3:22:16on on where there was nothing left and
3:22:19then dad looked through some of my
3:22:21things to make sure that I wasn't taking

3:22:40but then since I wasn't the one paying

3:22:43then I still just ended up keeping it

3:22:47nothing else was going to like be
3:22:48covered for me or
3:22:50anything so then after I left I took
3:22:54that the fort Christmas
3:22:57Road um that connected up with 50 and
3:23:00then I was just at the Publix for the
3:23:02rest of the time the same Publix we
3:23:05talked about earlier on
3:23:074:19 so from about midnight till 7 a.m.
3:23:10like you said you were a
3:23:12public and then is everything else the
3:23:14truth as far as the job interview
3:23:17all the rest of the times were accurate
3:23:20and when I looked at the site I I did
3:23:25not I I only saw a small blurb so when
3:23:29did you learn that your family was
3:23:34dead I had been worried
3:23:37since last
3:23:39night when I was uh just in the hotel
3:23:43but
3:23:47I knew when you guys told me I mean like
3:23:51I knew when you guys had told me you
3:23:53already knew though but I had you
3:23:56already said you knew at any point did
3:23:59you feel like you needed to reach out to
3:24:00Cody and see if he was okay
3:24:04or I just didn't want to call anywhere I
3:24:07just didn't want to
3:24:09know but you couldn't call I well I mean
3:24:12you had brought up the hotel but I
3:24:16than com to use
3:24:22that you got a medical background
3:24:24correct yes you ever been to an
3:24:26autopsy no okay an autopsy tells us a
3:24:29lot of things cause of death a lot of
3:24:33times how close somebody was to
3:24:35something again remember what I told you
3:24:37earlier she didn't fire a gun he didn't
3:24:40fire gun he didn't fire gun so they
3:24:42didn't get into us shooting amongst
3:24:44themselves inside the house
3:24:48angles tell us a lot of
3:24:51things dad was over here when he got
3:24:53shot the bullets in the cabinet and in
3:24:55the wall we know that we that's one of
3:24:58those facts we just can't
3:24:59dispute I see where shell casings are
3:25:01over here see where shelf casings are in
3:25:04here see where shelf casings are
3:25:07there Cody was shot the minute he walked
3:25:09in the door when he first got home
3:25:17bullet went through
3:25:18him from his from his head to the back
3:25:21of his
3:25:22head hit the door frame and packed it

3:25:27wall he never fired he never fired she

3:25:36fired and we know what time Cody left
3:25:41work I mean from his boss from his
3:25:44co-workers and you got to remember we've

3:25:51know why he told his co-workers and his
3:25:54boss why he left work and we know what
3:25:56time he got home and we have text
3:25:59messages that he has sent people
3:26:04afterwards so based on what you're
3:26:06telling us that he comes home and has
3:26:09this confrontation talks to you talks to
3:26:11his dad you leave about
3:26:13midnight and he's still there talking to
3:26:16your dad in the
3:26:17kitchen none of that adds
3:26:20up Pentacle CER can approximate the time

3:26:26body now is the time Grant now is the
3:26:29time buddy I'm I'm just this this and
3:26:33this happened while you were still
3:26:34present in the
3:26:36house and for whatever reason you don't

3:26:40us we understand your father was abusive
3:26:43and we understand that he was the
3:26:47and if he threatened you that he was
3:26:49going to kill you when you came back you
3:26:52were probably in fear were you
3:26:55not so did your brother come home to try
3:26:57and defend you and then this gunfight
3:27:00happened and you got so scared that you
3:27:05left no I mean I I I had left when I had
3:27:09said that I had left which time around 9
3:27:13or midnight no around the midnight time
3:27:18again we know stuff from from the
3:27:20medical examiner
3:27:22office of
3:27:26times said this a couple times he never
3:27:29fired a
3:27:30gun he never fired a gun she never fired
3:27:34a gun nobody did nobody in the house
3:27:35fired a gun fact we know I'm R to get
3:27:39DNA off the guns that are on scene and
3:27:41the cartridge

3:27:47be on any of those weapons or the

3:28:03other's guns before in the past like
3:28:05when we go to the range but you said you
3:28:07had no access to these guns now right I
3:28:10mean but yeah I mean it was like a long

3:28:13ago s there so the gun that's still on
3:28:17scene and the gun on your father's
3:28:18waistband is your DNA or fingerprints
3:28:21going to be on
3:28:23it not that I can think of let me throw

3:28:27you we pulled Financial records from
3:28:30your dad you Cody your
3:28:32mom remember that payment you made which
3:28:36one which the payment on on the that
3:28:38that bill you had the 599.99 I saw that
3:28:41one well guess what got paid right about
3:28:43the same time what 33,00 000 of debt was
3:28:47paid off of his credit card same time
3:28:50within a very short time of each other
3:28:53those things go

3:28:59happened wait 30 what happened
3:29:01$33,000 on I think your dad it was a
3:29:03USAA credit card yeah $33,000 was
3:29:08paid to pay off that credit
3:29:12car I I just don't know where else to go
