- 0:00Do you want to learn how to make this
- 0:02very easy rice bread in a blender? Keep
- 0:04watching this video and I'll show you
- 0:05how. Gluten Morgan. To everyone, and
- 0:19welcome to a new bread video. Today I'm
- 0:23going to be making a rice bread, and on
- 0:24top of that, it's very easy to make
- 0:25because we'll be making it in a blender
- 0:27, and it has one thing: it's
- 0:28gluten-free. No, don't panic, I'm here,
- 0:32I'm here. As I was saying, this bread
- 0:34is celiac-friendly, but most
- 0:36importantly, it's a very delicious and
- 0:37easy-to-make bread. We're going to put
- 0:40all the ingredients into a blender,
- 0:41press the button, and it's practically
- 0:43done. So let's get started. The bread
- 0:45we're going to be making today is with
- 0:47rice sourdough, which. Making a rice
- 0:49sourdough is very simple: it's made
- 0:50like any other sourdough, as if we were
- 0:52making it with wheat, rye, or spelt,
- 0:54only instead of using those flours,
- 0:56we'll use rice flour. On my Instagram,
- 0:58and I'll leave the link here, you can
- 0:59go in and see how I made it. So, as you
- 1:01can see, my rice sourdough is a bit
- 1:03lazy and not ready to work. So what I'm
- 1:06going to do first is activate it, and
- 1:07when it's ready, we'll begin. Let's
- 1:09activate the sourdough. This is very
- 1:10easy and we're going to do it
- 1:12completely by eye. We add about two or
- 1:13three tablespoons of rice flour to the
- 1:15sourdough and then we add water. We
- 1:23start mixing with a spoon and look for
- 1:25a nice, creamy texture. That is the
- 1:27secret for the sourdough to work well.
- 1:29It needs to end up like you're seeing
- 1:30here, nice and thick. If it ends up a
- 1:32little too runny, we add a bit more
- 1:34flour. And if it ends up too dry, we
- 1:36add a little water. Now we're going to
- 1:39cover it and leave it at room
- 1:40temperature until it triples in volume.
- 2:06Oh. Now that we have the sourdough
- 2:08going, I'll show you the bread formula
- 2:10here. Remember that you can download my
- 2:13Gluten Morgan baker's percentage
- 2:15application, completely free for
- 2:17Android or iPhone. And as you might be
- 2:19guessing, the main ingredient of the
- 2:21recipe is precisely rice. Any rice. The
- 2:24rice you have at home or the rice you
- 2:26buy at the supermarket, it can be brown
- 2:29or not, but don't go crazy. Any rice
- 2:31works for this recipe. To start, the
- 2:33first thing to do is soak the rice. So,
- 2:35in a bowl, we place the rice and we are
- 2:37going to add water. This water I'm
- 2:40adding now isn't the water from the
- 2:42recipe, it's just extra water we're
- 2:43going to use for soaking. The idea is
- 2:46to cover the rice completely. Two hours
- 2:50have passed. Oh, look at this. Off
- 2:52script. It just exploded for the fourth
- 2:55time. He's happy we're making bread.
- 2:58Well, now two hours of soaking the rice
- 3:00have passed, which is very important to
- 3:01do for the bread to turn out well. So
- 3:03pass me that blender, we're going to
- 3:05mix it. Well, but first we need to
- 3:08drain the rice. We remove all the water
- 3:10and set it aside. And the rest of the
- 3:23ingredients we need are obviously the
- 3:25sourdough starter, salt, sugar, neutral
- 3:30oil, which can be corn oil, and a
- 3:32little bit of water. This is very easy.
- 3:39In the blender, we're going to put all
- 3:40the ingredients. We close it and turn
- 4:06it on. That is all the mixing we are
- 4:08going to do. We'll let it run for about
- 4:115 minutes until everything is well
- 4:13blended. Ah, this could fail. And here
- 4:26I have a greased mold, ready for us to
- 4:27pour in the mixture. The mold measures
- 4:3024 by 10 by 10 centimeters and the
- 4:32amount of mixture I'm adding is 1.3
- 4:35kilos. Afterward, you can adapt it to
- 4:37your own molds. And now we are going to
- 4:39fill the mold. Voila. Perfect. Did you
- 4:56see how high it reached? Well, when it
- 4:58fills the entire mold, it will be ready
- 5:00to go into the oven. In the meantime,
- 5:02we cover it. Would you like to learn

- 5:38you. Okay, we already have the oven
- 5:40preheated to 200 degrees, which is a
- 5:42medium-high temperature. So we are
- 5:45ready to bake. Did you see how the
- 5:57bread grew? It fills the entire mold,
- 5:59so it's ready to go into the oven.
- 6:01Let's go. And we are going to put it in
- 6:09for 30 minutes. Done. Look how nice the
- 6:12bread looks. Let's take it out. Wow.
- 6:17Wow! Well, did you see how great it is
- 6:29and how easy it was to make? We'll
- 6:30leave it on the counter to cool down
- 6:32and then we'll taste it. Good. And now
- 6:40that it's cooled, more or less, let's
- 6:43cut it and try it. Oh. Wow. And how is
- 7:05it? Look at this slice. Spectacular.
- 7:07And it's rice bread. And we didn't do
- 7:10anything at all. Look how good it is.
- 7:13And look how flexible and tender it is.
- 7:16Incredible. And you have no idea how
- 7:19delicious it is. Let's try it. And now,
- 7:28as always, the best part of the video.
- 7:30Tasting it. I really recommend that you
- 7:34make it. It's very easy to make, it's
- 7:36done relatively quickly, and really you
- 7:39don't have to do anything, just eat it.
- 7:41You have no idea how good that crunchy
- 7:43crust on the outside is and that super
- 7:45tender and moist crumb inside. Mmm, it
- 7:48doesn't really taste like rice, well,
- 7:50barely, but it's not like you feel like
- 7:52you're eating rice, you really feel
- 7:53like you're eating bread and it's very
- 7:55moist. The crumb, I love it. And that
- 7:57crunchy crust reminds me a bit of the
- 7:58bread I used to make, which is tiger
- 8:00bread, which has a rice crust on the
- 8:01outside. Well, it reminds me a bit of
- 8:03that, but truthfully, it's spectacular.
- 8:05But are you ready to take it to the
- 8:07next level? Look what a great piece of
- 8:34toast. Imagine this for breakfast.
- 8:39Let's try it now. I hope you liked this
