0:33passed away her best friend Betsy she
0:35threw her own senior citizen mother off
0:38of a balcony while she was living in
0:40Assisted Living
0:42and then she also ended up passing away
0:44a random man in Missouri
0:46these all happen at different times so
0:49that makes Pam hop a cereal
0:51k-i-l-l-e-r Betsy's own husband Russ
0:54Faria was falsely convicted for a crime
0:57he did not commit Pam Huff committed the
1:00crime
1:01and in this super special series you're

2:53start with um I really want to find out
2:55what happened today so I'd like to get a
2:57very detailed account of like what
2:58happened today and really what I'd like
3:00to do is if um if it all possible
3:02probably start
3:03Maybe
3:05maybe like last night you know let's
3:07work the 24 hours beforehand and and
3:10work all the way through the incident
3:12make sure there's nothing that you saw
3:13or heard or something that might have
3:15happened or or something like that I
3:16don't want to miss anything so let's
3:18let's try to go back to 24 hours or so
3:20maybe yesterday afternoon lunch
3:22um and let's work our way forward
3:24yesterday I went to Best Buy and
3:28purchased some items and talk to the
3:31general manager there about getting a
3:32job for my nephew
3:34went home got my nephew said to bring
3:37them up brought them up there he talked
3:39to them for a little bit we came back
3:40and we filled out some applications
3:42online
3:44Taco Bell had lunch
3:48then I went home
3:50and then so what time did you hear about
3:54spiders do you think
3:55well I was there right when it opened so
3:58I think that's 10 o'clock because we had
4:00to wait in the parking lot a few minutes
4:01but I think it was 10 o'clock Saint
4:03Peter's mom uh yeah by the mall
4:06and um
4:09I was there like I said came holiday got
4:12my nappy one back up there it's stayed
4:14up there a little bit then we came back
4:16had lunch I dropped him off oh dropped
4:18him off we filled out applications three
4:20applications for Best Buy
4:22instructions he had given us and then I
4:24went home
4:26and then walked my dog fed him
4:29did all that kind of stuff my husband
4:31came home we had I left and I went to
4:33Shop and Save
4:35at 3 30. because that's when
4:41because chicken comes out Fresh So when
4:44he wanted chicken breast so which
4:46shuffles it um right there by my house
4:49off of
4:51Cohen
4:52and Mexico Loop Road there yeah like
4:55across the street yeah so that was like
4:573 30 when I left
4:58we came home we ate and
5:03was it was raining outside
5:06walk my dog a couple more times watch
5:08the Olympics
5:10went to bed woke up this morning like I
5:13always do and
5:15but my dog walked on
5:17and showered
5:21headed out to do errands and run around
5:24I always stop Conoco I won't just slowly
5:27down a little bit because we're starting
5:28to rush through today so you woke up
5:30what time did you wake up this morning
5:31um about 7 30 well actually I was up
5:33earlier because I go let my son's dogs
5:35out
5:36um
5:40probably about 7 15. 7 15.
5:44that's good um went and let my son's
5:46dogs out because he wasn't home where's
5:48your son live uh like four streets over
5:51oh okay close yeah and for my nephew
5:53living with him I drive there
5:55and um let his dogs out that um
6:00until they did their thing then I came
6:01back home took care of my dog that um
6:03walked him
6:06got in the shower
6:09um and headed out and I had to get gas
6:13trying to go down the street where I go
6:14every morning get my soda
6:16and how which one's the Conoco
6:19um right yes BP is across from like the
6:21fire station okay real little one yeah
6:24that kind of down the valley yeah okay
6:26by Magnolia Street
6:29and you get that like every morning
6:34about what time was that new thing
6:37um probably about 9 9 15. okay
6:41um
6:42if I filled up
6:45got my Take Five Card got my soda
6:49headed up towards
6:51um
6:53the mall
6:57and the rivers yeah headed up toward I
7:00don't think I went to Mid Rivers yet
7:03um I was looking for uh second hand
7:04stores
7:07because my dad she has stores
7:09to put stuff in so I was looking for a
7:10new one because she was just here a
7:12couple weeks ago so I went up Mexico
7:14Road
7:16um and look for a couple of them I went
7:19up to Old O'Fallon
7:21I knew
7:23I'm sorry did you when you you went from
7:25Calico then you went straight to do this
7:27like that yeah I'm just running around
7:28looking for the parade it wasn't at the
7:30mall yet because they're not open yet I
7:32think they open until 10 or whatever
7:34so I'm looking for stores for when she's
7:36coming in the 9th of September that we
7:39can go to and so I went up Mexico
7:41looking I went to Old O'Fallon
7:46down throughout that way looking I found
7:48a new one on
7:49um
7:51okay
7:52just looking for a new one so I was
7:54driving around looking for new ones then
7:56I headed up to towards the mob and I
7:59don't know because I was down Mexico so
8:01I just went to the mall I went to Mexico
8:03to Mid Rivers did you check it like you
8:05said I checked I was looking for him or
8:07found some I checked them out did you
8:08like go in any of these no oh you were
8:11just like looking for the locations we
8:13were in them when she was just here a
8:14week ago so we did a full week of that
8:17so no I did not I'm just trying to find
8:20sites for it
8:22um so got all the way to Mid Rivers and
8:24I went down Mexico to Mid Rivers went
8:27down Mid Rivers to a mall
8:30and I was going to go into
8:33um I had to go to the bathroom so

8:43um oh the bread company right there by
8:45uh
8:50rig company
8:55no it's across the street it's by what's
8:58pure wine okay I think it's new
9:02I stopped and there I went to the
9:04bathroom
9:07and um because I've been drinking my
9:09soda so we stopped in there um do you
9:12think that might have been like just
9:14before 10 or because you said the mall
9:15opens at 10. yeah
9:18um I don't know what time it was I
9:20wasn't looking at the clock or anything
9:22like that
9:24um I was gonna go into Pier One and I
9:26didn't change my mind because it was
9:28right there so
9:29um
9:30I went up to go up to Hobby Lobby
9:33which is off of Cave Springs yep and
9:37um
9:39I went up there
9:41and I decided not to go in there and
9:43since I was up there my daughter lives
9:44up that way and she's a teacher so I
9:46didn't know she was in school yet so I
9:48went by her house to see if she was home
9:50and um I didn't see her car so I drove
9:54back
9:55and that's when
9:57um
9:58that's gonna go back to the mall so I
10:00came home because I know how to let the
10:01dog out then so I came home let the dog
10:05out
10:06are you up by whose house my daughter
10:09what's her name Sarah
10:14go ahead I'm trying to meet him
10:16uh you said she lives off of a
10:18you take
10:21my first camera
10:24I understand
10:27she's a teacher so
10:28she don't need that off the first camera
10:33um
10:35and she wasn't there
10:37I just drove down the street she wasn't
10:38there sure
10:39um
10:40so
10:42um
10:44so he said Circle battling home yeah
10:48or came back down and went through
10:53just cut through where Lindenwood and
10:54she lives right there cut through there
10:57and get on the highway and went home
11:01okay
11:03and then one
11:06um I got home
11:07opened up the garage pulled in
11:10got my dog walked him out in front so he
11:13could go pee
11:15and he did he did his thing
11:17went back put him inside him a tree
11:19came back out I was gonna run back up to
11:22the mall uh I'm supposed to pick up a
11:26purchase today from Best Buy to make an
11:28appointment my appointment's Friday I
11:30was going to run up there see if I could
11:31get it early so I was going to run back
11:33up there and as I I started pulling out
11:36got halfway out
11:38I noticed as I was backing up that a car
11:42came down really fast down the cross
11:44street and whipped around right in front
11:46of my driveway because I'm right at the
11:48end here's the cross street and here's
11:50my driveway so I think
11:52it came out and did this right in front
11:55of my driveway and I looked up because
11:57it was so fast and startling and
12:00something jumped out and I was like well
12:02somebody I don't know what I thought
12:03somebody was hurt I don't know what was
12:05going on it was so fast and then he ran
12:09up I was halfway up the drive where I
12:11was parked and he jumped in my car he
12:13opened up the door and jumped in my car
12:15which door
12:17uh passenger
12:19fronts are back oh front professor
12:24go ahead
12:25and he had a bunch of stuff in his hands
12:28I don't know what he had but he had a
12:30knife also but he had something in his
12:32other arm I don't know what he had and
12:36um
12:37he put a knife and kept on just yelling
12:40random stuff like you're going to take
12:42me to the bank and get Russ's money take
12:44me to the bank you're going to take me
12:46to the bank he put a knife up to my
12:47throat there and was yelling stuff and
12:51um
12:52he kept looking behind him like this so
12:56I didn't I put it in gear and I was
12:59thinking how I was going to get out of
13:00there when he was looking and he kept
13:02yelling coming back and then he looked
13:04back again and I hit his arm with the
13:05knife and then shot out of the car and
13:07ran inside
13:10Okay so
13:12so you were I just want to make sure I
13:14understand so you were all you'd already
13:15been home fed the dog gave him the
13:17street he were getting ready to leave so
13:20when you when you got home did you leave
13:21the car in the driveway or did you pull
13:23in the garage I was in the garage
13:24because he pulled the car to win yes and
13:27then you got out and you tied into the
13:28dog
13:31no I did not pull it in the garage I
13:33always pull it on the garage when I'm
13:34going to stay but now I stayed right
13:36there because I was leaving okay so
13:38right where it was so where there was
13:40yeah I just ran into
13:42to let him out okay so you were only in
13:44the house just a couple times I was just
13:47born yeah not even a couple minutes just
13:48enough put his leash on I brought him
13:51out walked him blah blah blah all that
13:53kind of stuff how do you go in the house
13:55when you pull them in the driveway to go
13:56in how did you go in the house throw
13:58that door the garage door
14:00the garage big one was open I ran
14:02through the garage door
14:05okay so then kind of rushed through that
14:07I just want to make sure I understand so
14:09you went in you let the dog out it gave
14:12him a treat
14:13you're ready to leave again so you come
14:15back out of the house how did you exit
14:17the house how out the same door same
14:19door yeah I left him in the same door
14:22because the front door was locked okay
14:24so it was coming in I come in and out
14:26that door
14:27um came out that door got back in the
14:30car
14:31okay keep going yeah okay and that's
14:34when the car shot around and somebody
14:36jumped out before I knew it they were
14:39sitting next to me okay so let's first
14:42describe the car can you give a
14:44description of the vehicle
14:45well I wasn't really paying attention to
14:48the vehicle more of the shrickness of
14:51their tires that they did it was just a
14:53silver
14:55um
14:55wasn't as small as like a little Toyota
14:57a little bit bigger but not a big one
15:00sitting in it was four doors so
15:02four-door it's you would say midsize
15:04yeah
15:08it wasn't brand new
15:13um I mean as you reflect back do you
15:16remember anything anything specific
15:18about other than being silver I mean
15:19four doors anything on he said it wasn't
15:22that new it wasn't like shiny like you
15:25could tell it was like my crashing just
15:28had a 2004 Honda kind of like older like
15:31that you know not that it was a piece of
15:34crap or anything but it was yeah it was
15:36a veteran car yeah yeah grocery getter
15:39and then um
15:42that's all I remember but it was just so
15:44fast like I wasn't really even looking
15:47at the car it was like what's this
15:49hastiness that this car is doing this
15:51quickness I didn't know what was going
15:53on it was just getting it was just weird
15:56it was getting weird and I was like
15:58because they tore around he popped out
16:01and I'm like my first thought was did I
16:04know him because they did it so fast but
16:08then I was like and I looked back down
16:10the next thing I knew he was there so
16:13Okay so
16:15as I I was I was up there for a few
16:18minutes and I noticed that there was an
16:19orange car parked on the street that's
16:21my next door neighbors it's okay okay I
16:23wasn't sure okay
16:26so trying to remember how your street is
16:29which way did the so if you're sitting
16:32in your car pointed at the
16:34garage which way did this car come from
16:38um right here the right side that that
16:40little Street there
16:44behind me yes because the way I I
16:47probably have you draw it out later but
16:49so now so it's three behind you I know
16:51what you're talking about it's almost
16:53it's directly behind my neighbor's
16:56driveway okay and I'm one over so I can
16:58I can see them
17:00whip around come out of there and all
17:03they did was come right around right to
17:05my house
17:07okay so he jumps out of the car he jumps
17:10into the passenger front side of your
17:12car
17:13where's he jump out of the silver car
17:15from
17:16I don't know they asked me that I really
17:18wasn't paying attention I I want to say
17:21the back seat but that may not be true
17:25I keep trying to remember I thought
17:28I may not be true
17:31were there other people in the vehicle
17:32there was a drive all I saw was a driver
17:35because he squealed away so I was like
17:38the hell and he looked what was the most
17:41distinctive thing about the driver that
17:43you remember dark here was kind of like
17:45a buzz cut
17:47um and dark skin like Hispanic
17:51maybe something like that what crosses
17:54my mind I don't know it could be anybody
17:57I don't know if they were Hispanic but
18:00um
18:01that's across my mind
18:03that's you got it we got somewhat of the
18:06look of the driver yeah okay yeah
18:08because when he started to whip around I
18:10all I saw was like a dark
18:13Dome sorry but um
18:16short hair like you right sure maybe not
18:19quite as short but it was dark and
18:22that's foreign in that neighborhood to
18:23all the same people were their windows
18:25open in their vehicle you know I know
18:27not that I saw
18:29I remember
18:31and so
18:33that's the only other person you saw in
18:35the vehicle that you could remember yeah
18:36because I really wasn't looking for
18:38people I just noticed him when he's went
18:41real fast to turn and I looked up and I
18:43just happened to see the driver because
18:44that's who was coming around
18:46and didn't even see the other person
18:48until they whipped him from their
18:50driveway and he got out because at then
18:52I wasn't really I wasn't just staring at
18:55him when it first happened and I heard
18:57it and I saw it I was like
19:00it was just weird and then they hurry
19:03and I looked up again and they that's
19:05when they whipped and I was like this is
19:07weird you kind of looked down again
19:08because I'm getting about my business
19:10and
19:12they didn't keep going he got out and
19:15then the other guy squealed away real
19:18fast and he was already there before
19:22so the guy squealed away before
19:29at what point did he get out did he
19:32squeal away well with couldn't in
19:35comparison with the other guy was doing
19:36right as soon as he pulled around and I
19:38wasn't looking again I looked back down
19:40to put you know to get ready to go and
19:43stuff and
19:45um
19:46she pulled around and I looked up again
19:49the guys had shot out when he pulled
19:51around a guy like shot out and I looked
19:54down again and thought
19:55kind of strange I don't even know if I
19:57thought it was strange but it was weird
20:00and so I looked up again as he was
20:03getting out and he squealed right off
20:06the guy squealed right off like
20:09I assume he shut the door but I don't
20:11even know because I wasn't looking at
20:13that I could hear it
20:15and that and I was more looking at like
20:17who's getting out of the car
20:20with somebody I know because right in
20:21front of my driveway
20:23okay
20:25so
20:27so that guy's Wheels away he's got
20:29jumped in the passenger car I know he
20:31described it was having a knife in one
20:33hand and something else he has another
20:34yeah well he had popped in
20:38when he opened up the door and
20:41I don't know what I even what I was
20:43thinking I don't even I don't even know
20:45he just was in there so fast but I know
20:48he was jumbling something in this arm
20:50and had a knife in the other hand and
20:53then
20:54um he switched somehow I don't know if
20:57he set Us stuffed out or dropped I don't
20:59know what he did but he had put the
21:00knife in the other hand then so
21:03um
21:04and that's when he put it up here okay
21:06you're using your right hand is that you
21:08ride the left hand i'm right-handed okay
21:10did you use your right hand because
21:11you're right-handed or did you use your
21:13right hand because that's how you recall
21:15it went happened or
21:17um that's how I recall that it
21:19because he had something in his right
21:21hand when he first got in and then
21:25the first few seconds I didn't see a
21:27knife or anything I know he just had
21:29stuff you know and I was just like
21:31freaked out and then all of a sudden he
21:32dropped stuff and then he had a knife so
21:34I don't I'm guessing right okay so
21:39what if anything did he say
21:41he said you're gonna take me to the bank
21:43and get Russ's money we're going now so
21:46get going type stuff and he just kept
21:48yelling stuff like that at me and
21:51um
21:53so at this time I still don't I don't
21:55have it in gear or anything like or I do
21:57have it no I don't have it in gear and I
21:59had put it in gear to go because I
22:02didn't know what to do and then I that's
22:04when I noticed he was looking back
22:07don't know what if he was looking
22:09because cars I don't know what it was
22:10looking at but he kept looking back and
22:12I noticed that so I put it back in the
22:14gear and he said get going right now
22:16we're going to the bank and then he
22:18looked back again like this and I hit
22:20his arm and I shot out so when you say I
22:22put it back in the gear you mean you put
22:24it back in the park
22:26so my plan was to get out of the car
22:30somehow so when he came up and
22:32approached you out the car door and got
22:34in your the vehicle was in Reverse with
22:36your foot on the brake
22:38yes uh
22:42no I don't still in Parker in reverse
22:49I don't know I'm not sure
22:52okay so we described you kind of
22:53described the guy in the silver was in
22:55Reverse but I'm I can't swear to it I
22:58don't know if I put it in reverse when
22:59he said let's go or if I already had it
23:01in reverse I don't know because I kept
23:03looking at him and kind of what was I
23:06was miscombobbled on what the hell was
23:09going on with the situation the next
23:11thing I know he's there at that point
23:19you know what I don't think I I think I
23:22now
23:23it wasn't I wasn't in gear my car was
23:26running I had left my car running when I
23:28came out I came out so it was in park
23:32so I don't think I ever did put it in
23:34here
23:36so you describe the the driver of the
23:39vehicle to the best you know to the best
23:41You're Building what you saw I could
23:43describe the guy that got a clean
23:45vehicle with you the guys got him with
23:47me he had on shorts he had on blue
23:50shorts
23:51shortish hair sandy blonde and now
23:55forgive me I I have not I did not go in
23:58the scene I've not been the scene so is
24:00he a white male blackmail oh I'm sorry
24:01Hispanic mail he's white male
24:04um he's taller than me
24:07um he had blue
24:09gym shorts on
24:12um and some sort of
24:13t-shirt
24:15and sandy blonde hair
24:18and
24:21I want to say his eyes were blue but I'm
24:22not sure it's not like they were like a
24:24bright blue or anything like that
24:25noticeable but
24:28I want to say they were like colored
24:30eyes
24:32they weren't Brown okay
24:34it could be wrong it really wasn't
24:37looking another space
24:40no same thing it smells
24:43he didn't no he didn't smell the only
24:46thing I noticed was is he's yelling and
24:48getting more and more upset he was
24:51slowering his worth I thought he was
24:53drunk I didn't smell anything at all but
24:57he did hair I don't know what he had
24:58with him but he kept
25:01like the more he kept repeating himself
25:03he was getting all excited and he was uh
25:06I thought he was drunk or on drugs or
25:09something like that because I couldn't
25:10understand him half the time right he
25:12was yelling crap I couldn't even
25:13understand
25:15so he was learning's words but he didn't
25:18really smell of anything at all anything
25:21was he sweaty was he
25:23dirty was he clean
25:25wait didn't stink
25:28I didn't notice like greasy hair like a
25:31homeless person or anything like that
25:34um he just looked like a normal person
25:36okay
25:37I mean he wasn't clean cut like
25:40like you guys like you're ground
25:43but he wasn't dirty because I didn't
25:45smell anything or see like
25:47nasty here or anything what what age
25:50about what age would you put it in
25:54late 30s
25:57and of course it begs the question I
25:59don't know that we've just asked you
26:02straight have you ever seen this guy
26:03before no don't know him
26:06um he doesn't look like somebody you've
26:08seen somewhere
26:09before with somebody else I mean as you
26:13as you remember back you know as you
26:14picture him in your mind
26:15um
26:17there there is you cannot make any link
26:19between this guy
26:21and and you
26:27no I mean
26:30I wasn't looking directly at his face I
26:33was trying not to look at him
26:35I do know when he did get in there was
26:39something familiar about him but I don't
26:42know him so I don't know if I don't know
26:48he seemed familiar like I should know
26:51him but I do not know him
26:59but did he have any type of accent that
27:01was noticeable too
27:03I didn't know because he was full he was
27:07bumbling slurring and at first
27:12I didn't really notice anything but like
27:14he was getting so excited and stuff he
27:17as he was yelling at me I mean it was
27:20like he was drunk I mean he was left I
27:23literally like this time was this thick
27:24I don't know what was going on I figured
27:26he was on something
27:29alcohol or something I didn't know I
27:31knew something was not right because as
27:33he was getting excited it was getting
27:36worse
27:37the slurring was getting worse yeah The
27:39Stumbling
27:41okay yeah I couldn't hardly understand
27:42what he was saying
27:44pick out like certain words but he said
27:47one phrase inside made no sense he said
27:49you know I think he set it up in the
27:51garage or out in the car too
27:54um
27:55something about killing my wife
27:57something and I'm like
28:00I didn't say anything but it was weird
28:03it's a wording you sit out in the car he
28:05set it out in the car
28:07yelling at me and
28:11when he was saying he was going to kill
28:12me
28:15so what are the things of the things
28:17that you could understand him
28:19say what are the things that he said to
28:21you he well at first he was kind of
28:24clear in the car because he wanted me to
28:26go to the bank to get Russ's money and
28:28how did he say that he said
28:31he said some curse words and then he
28:33said we're going we can say this here
28:35yeah
28:36tell us what he said yeah well Atlanta
28:39couldn't understand but he said when he
28:41first got in and he had to I was I think
28:44I was yelling at him and trying to
28:46remember I think I was like who are you
28:47get out of my car blah blah blah and he
28:50was like we're going to the bank
28:52and I'm like no my mind just starts
28:55swirling because I'm like dang this is
28:57so freaking weird and I'm like I'm not
28:59going to the bank with you get out of my
29:00car and he goes you go we're going
29:02to the bank we're getting Russ's money
29:04and he started getting all agitated and
29:06excited and that's when I really he was
29:09yelling things I wasn't listening
29:10because I was forming how I was going to
29:13get out of their car
29:14so he was yammering crap couldn't really
29:18understand him at that point and my
29:21thought was to get the the knife away
29:24and get the heck out of the car that's
29:26all I was thinking about that point what
29:27he was saying I don't know is I ran into
29:30the garage
29:31he ran after me I heard the car door
29:34shut and he was jammering stuff again
29:37about killing me again my focus was to
29:40get in the house I know I had my phone
29:42in my pocket I was trying to dial 9-1-1
29:45I think I did it three times before it
29:47went through on my cell phone but then I
29:49was inside and he was trying to get the
29:51door I was trying to hold the door I

30:01door flew over he got in it flew open
30:03and I ran into the bedroom he was
30:06yelling stuff and as I was going on the
30:08bedroom something again about killing my
30:11wife him and Stevie me and Stevie gonna
30:14kill your wife and I so I don't know who
30:17that is I don't know if Steven or a
30:19Stevie or Steve I don't know what he was
30:21talking about he was so then so but it
30:26was really hard it's like his sentences
30:28weren't formed by then
30:30and so none of it made any sense but he
30:33did keep saying get in the car I ran in
30:35the bedroom I tried to you know I shut
30:37that doors trying to get it locked
30:39wouldn't latched got a problem with the
30:40door and I got my gun turned around got
30:43my gum nightstand right there and he was
30:46pounding on the door and once it flew
30:48open
30:52and he just kept standing there
30:56how many times did you say you pulled
30:58the truck I unloaded the whole gun
31:00I just kept calling until it stopped

31:07again because I haven't been there yet I

31:39could have got to re-club
31:41so once that door opened and he was
31:44there I just started shooting and
31:46walking towards him so I didn't have one
31:50um

31:55but um inside the room how's your I'm
31:58gonna have you know what I'm gonna end
31:59up doing is I'm gonna end up getting
32:00some pieces of paper and having you
32:02sketch out some things like your bedroom

35:35so as he was pushing on the door and I'm
35:38trying to dial 9-1-1 and hold them
35:40hoping he'd get tired of it and leave
35:43and he didn't I was just holding trying
35:45to keep him from coming in as he pushed
35:47the door open I ran right in here
35:50my nightstand I shut the door
35:54ran to the nightstand came back around
35:56here
35:57as he was pounding on the door door flew
36:00open I was probably standing anywhere
36:03like here as it flew open he's right
36:06there and I just started shooting him
36:07walking towards and shooting
36:09okay so you just said like you stand
36:12there or read that close in proximity oh

36:17um can I ask a couple questions

36:19so when you you say you came he came in
36:22through here correct and you came in
36:24through here and you got through and you
36:27said you held him off for a bit
36:29were you able to shut the door

36:38because he was right behind me so I shut
36:41the door and I couldn't get it locked
36:42and I was reaching for my phone and I
36:45dialed 9-1-1 was your phone kept in your

36:50so I was calling 9-1-1 and he's trying
36:52I'm just holding the door because I
36:54couldn't get it locked because it
36:55wouldn't the little lash he kept pushing
36:56you know I was coming over what type of
36:58latch is it well just I mean the door
37:00now like the knob like you need it
37:02closed to be able to lock it
37:05I think it's a little turning one okay
37:08or just on the handle yeah okay
37:12yeah so I couldn't get that and down
37:159-1-1 it was more important for me to
37:17dial 9-1-1 in my head so I was trying to
37:19get some help and just a few seconds
37:22because just a few seconds 9-1-1 came on
37:24I started yelling and he burst through
37:27the door so when you so you're here in
37:30this door you come in he's right on your
37:32tail as you said
37:33that you
37:35weren't able to get the door shutter you
37:37were at work you was able to that door
37:39shut
37:40but you weren't able to lock it no okay
37:42okay and this is at the point where you
37:44made your first 9-1-1 call where you
37:46hadn't spoke to somebody
37:48did not the first time you did not it
37:50was just you wouldn't go through okay so
37:53I did it again okay and you did it again
37:55here yeah I'm standing the whole time
37:57against the door trying to keep him out
37:58and he's just pushing the door we're
38:00going back and forth and how are you
38:01holding the door with what part of your
38:03body
38:04um I think I'm just leaning against it I
38:06think I was doing different things at
38:07first I was doing my hands till I got my
38:09phone and then I was trying to use my
38:11back and then I was trying to use my
38:12side so just whatever depending on how
38:15forceful he was getting what I was using
38:17as I'm trying to Redial okay
38:20so
38:21that's your first time you use I guess
38:23your fingers aren't working no they
38:25worked just couldn't get through to
38:269-1-1 though it wouldn't go through I
38:28mean get my phone well actually um
38:30that's actually I'm glad you brought
38:31that up because do you mind if we take a
38:32look at your phone and see because I
38:34would love to see what the 911 calls
38:35bring it in here because I'd like to see
38:36too well it's out on the desk but we'll
38:38yeah I would see how many times I die
38:40yeah I'm just correct I just wanted I
38:42would say a couple times I dialed trying
38:44to get through I could see it wasn't
38:45going through I couldn't hear anybody so
38:47I would just hang up try again try again
38:49and I'm just and he's bumping me on the
38:51door and stuff so then he just was once
38:55I got them I was focused on that and he
38:58pushed it open so when you get a hold of
39:00three when you got through with 911 you
39:03were still in this vicinity yes all
39:05right so then you get a hold of them
39:06and you stayed there until either he
39:08pushed through or did you Retreat first
39:10no he pushed through he pushed through
39:12he pushed through too much I couldn't
39:13hold him back anymore so I retreated and
39:15ran okay and then he ran through here
39:17into your bedroom yes all right and
39:19where was he at when you reached your
39:20door
39:21where was he at was he still behind
39:23there I was on this was
39:26I went in there I shut the door and you
39:29ran to there I wasn't even paying
39:31attention to where anybody was I was
39:32just going for my guy and you shut the
39:34door here you said yes I shut the door
39:35you tried to lock it but it's
39:38no I didn't try to like it or you can't
39:41lock it okay because I might have tried
39:44it but you have to lift it's actually
39:46you have to lift up the door because
39:47it's not even and stuff like that so I
39:49may have tried to lock it
39:51what I I think I just ran there okay I
39:54don't know if I shut it and tried to
39:55lock it and gave up and said that door
39:58had problems it does yeah you can't lock
40:00it unless you
40:02and then push it up and align it and
40:04lock it
40:06so if you're still on the phone with
40:089-1-1 at this point I'm still up but I
40:10still have them on the phone yes I
40:12wasn't listening to what they were doing
40:14I just had the phone because I was
40:16concentrated on other stuff is he saying
40:18anything through this point where he
40:20starts yelling that crap again about
40:22killing my wife him and Stevie killing
40:26my wife or something
40:28weird bizarre crap and getting in the
40:31car it just kept yelling getting a car
40:33and I'm I don't know what I said I don't
40:35know if I said no I get out I don't know
40:37what I say all right if you're still on
40:39the phone with 9-1-1 yes all right when
40:42you come through your bedroom my mom
40:43went the whole time until I get until
40:45you guys come I'm on the phone with them

40:52and you go straight to your night

40:56where when you reach your night dresser

42:57zipped correct okay is it a case of not
43:00actually I just reached him grabbed it
43:01turned around and where's your phone at
43:03this time
43:05um in my other hand
43:08all right because I'm still yelling
43:11yeah I hit him my hand the whole time

43:14and I turned around to come this way and
43:17I was just waiting to see if he broke
43:19which I knew he would because I couldn't
43:20lock it and I just stood there
43:25a couple seconds it should wear
43:27one of these exes I'm not sure but
43:30that's your way it's so small in there
43:31you'll see there's not really anywhere
43:33to go I mean because the door is right
43:35there so I turned around reached in I
43:39grabbed it turned around and I just was
43:41waiting to see if he broke in or if he
43:43would get scared and run away and you
43:46say break in through the store did he
43:48open the door or break the door
43:50if you didn't know I don't know if he
43:52opened it or if it popped open because
43:54it doesn't latch very well so I don't
43:56know if because his pounding opened it
43:58or he opened it I don't know it opened
44:01okay it flew open and I started shooting
44:03okay we're trying to I understand yeah

44:10my mind I'm just trying to be rude it's
44:11just like and we just want to make sure

44:14my first thought was not only to get my
44:18gun but equal first thought was don't

44:42chased you up to this door

44:53at that point when he was chasing me

44:57and then when I was doing the door I
44:59couldn't see him
45:01so as I start running to my bedroom and
45:05he started yelling stuff and

45:09I think I did actually turn around once
45:11when he started saying gibbling some
45:13stuff about
45:15my wife or whatever that whatever he was
45:18saying and I kind of turned around I
45:21don't know he was still yelling get in
45:23the car and I think I was still yelling
45:24back at him
45:25so not sure how that interaction went as
45:29I'm trying to get into my bedroom but he
45:31was still just coming in saying all this
45:34stuff so I don't know if he had anything
45:36I don't remember him having anything in
45:39his hand
45:40come on
45:41when he came when he came through the
45:43door here you don't remember him having
45:45seen his hands no do you remember him
45:47saying anything at that point
45:51I remember all I remember and just kind
45:54of blanked out there is that once that
45:56door flew open because I was so hoping
45:58it wouldn't
45:59once it did I just started shooting and
46:02my thought I just moved forward on him
46:04and kept shooting my thought was to try
46:07to get past the storeway at what point
46:09did you know you hit him
46:11I knew I hit him the first time or I
46:14thought I hit him the first time but he
46:15just stood there and looked at me and
46:19so I was just kept on shooting because
46:21he was just standing there like
46:24so I assumed I hit him because I was
46:26this close I was so close so you're
46:30legitimately looking at him so the first
46:32time you shot him would you say you're
46:34further than this away from him
46:37me and you maybe this far so
46:41and the door opens out it opens into the
46:44bedroom okay so yeah yeah so if I was
46:47coming into your bedroom it would open
46:48this way or this where's me yes so I'm
46:50standing here and in one of these
46:53positions here in front of the door it
46:55swings open I'm standing there I'm ready
46:56and it swings open and we're just eye to
47:01eye and I just start shooting and
47:02walking forward because my first thought
47:04was to get past the store Jam
47:07didn't even think about I'm shooting him
47:09hitting them I wasn't thinking about
47:11that I knew I had to get around this
47:12person and get back out somehow at what
47:15point did he fold do you remember
47:18I had shot quite
47:20before you talk yeah
47:22quite a few times
47:25if you had to guess no matter how many
47:26shots you think you fired I don't know I
47:28did all of them that was in there yeah I
47:30think it was full you know how many
47:32do you know how many rounds go in that
47:34particular weapon six I'm guessing
47:37I unloaded all of them I think it was
47:40full but I don't know for sure but I
47:42think it was it did not seem when I hear
47:45it in my head that I heard six booms but
47:48so do you think you hit him all six
47:50times
47:51I do you do yeah because I I walked I
47:55walked as close to him as I could till
47:56he fell down
47:58too but did he say anything
48:02no when that door flew open he just
48:04looked at me and I just started shooting
48:06right away and he didn't even have time
48:08to respond I don't even know if he saw
48:10that I had that I don't know if he even
48:12knew what he was going to do when he did
48:14that because he was so heightened by the
48:16but when you start shooting at him but
48:18by the time you fire your open door and
48:20you fired your first shot
48:21until you left the residence
48:24did he say anything else did he
48:25verbalize anything else he never moved
48:27out to Florida
48:29never moved I said
48:31got my dog
48:32where was your dog at during this whole
48:33thing
48:34um running around going nuts
48:38I just didn't know what was going
48:40on so you standing right about here
48:43did you shoot directly would you say
48:45straight at the doorway and angled the
48:48doorway dude I mean do you remember I
48:51I don't know about angles all I know is
48:53when it flew open and
48:55sanity of facing the door
48:58as soon as it opened I started and I
49:01started walking at the same time right

49:08the door is cut in and I know it's not
49:11flat like this anyway oh it's done no
49:13it's one of those because you get three
49:15doors and it curves it's on an angle
49:18anyway so all I knew is I was hoping he
49:22didn't get through it but if the door
49:24came open I was gonna be ready and and
49:28when it did and we locked eyes I just
49:31right away I started shooting and
49:33walking towards him and kept shooting
49:34because I started and he just stood
49:36there and I was like
49:40just wasn't working
49:41but I think it was it just wasn't I
49:44didn't say anything at first he didn't
49:46fall at first and then he fell and
49:49um sorry got my dog and went outside I
49:51still had the phone and let me ask you
49:53this so
49:55when you go to the range and how you you
50:00showed us so the door opens up you start
50:03shooting
50:04where's your cell phone at this time I
50:06still have it in my hand I'm sure you're
50:08shooting with the cell phone in your
50:09hand I might I must have used one hand
50:11because I never put the phone down I had
50:13that gal on the line the whole time
50:16so do you think you fired those so
50:18that's how we do it at the range I had
50:19to use one hand because I still when I
50:21went outside it was in my left hand my
50:23phone when I was talking to her or as I
50:25was walking out I'm giving her my
50:27address please come please come 1260
50:29because she's gone what's your address
50:30and all that so I was talking to her but
50:33I'm right-handed so I had to use one
50:36hand and shoot them
50:38so did you find do you believe you fired
50:40those shots while you were on the 9-1-1
50:43while you're on the phone absolutely
50:46dispatch absolutely yes with 9-1-1 from
50:49the time he started breaking in I was on
50:52it until I went out I got my dog went
50:54out in the garage she said you guys are
50:56coming she's still talking to me I'm
50:58still saying they're not here they're
50:59not here because it seemed like forever
51:01and once you guys came she goes over
51:04there hang out and I did so the whole
51:07thing was on 9-1-1 calls when you walked
51:10out where'd you put the gun and I think
51:12well after I shot him I um I left I put
51:16the gun on the bed
51:18because I didn't want to carry it out I
51:19didn't want anybody to get freaked out
51:21and shoot me
51:23just laying on the bed yeah okay
51:26and it should be should have no more
51:28live rounds in it I kept it started
51:31clicking so they get stuck or there's
51:33some hit I don't know but I kept
51:35clicking and clicking and clicking and
51:37it just wouldn't come out anymore
51:40so when you stepped over him
51:42where did where did you go I went right

51:58to step over them and really garage
51:59doors here and I had went out to Florida
52:03and then I wouldn't get my dog out

52:16and when you stepped over him he wasn't
52:18moving did you make any observations
52:20with him when he stepped over him no

54:42around 11 50 12 o'clock but I'm not
54:43certain on that it had to be that
54:45because I came back home and let my dog
54:46out and
54:49um I only let him go a few hours at a
54:51time because he's still young did you
54:52eat lunch
54:54did you wear anything like that okay

58:12like who are you I just switched out and
58:15he was yelling stuff and then he'd start
58:16getting really agitated and that's when
58:18he had the knife to my Put The Knife up
58:21then and he said I didn't go die too
58:23right here right like that yeah
58:27no he didn't touch me but he had it
58:29right there I could see it and then
58:31that's when I was thinking I need to get
58:33the hell out
58:34what kind of knife is it I'm I'm
58:36assuming we're going to find the knife
58:37there somewhere I knocked it out of his
58:38hand that should be in the car okay so
58:40it's in the car somewhere yeah do you
58:41know what was it is it a steak Knife is
58:43it a was it a steak knife but it wasn't
58:45a huge butcher knife
58:47so like in between okay but it would be

59:06imagination it seemed like it was this

59:18also right he immediately dropped that
59:22droplet whatever he had okay you know I
59:25just know he got in as I looked over and

59:34initially see him with a knife he had to
59:36have it but then he whipped that up and
59:39that's what he was threatening me with
59:44um so the Stevie the name Stevie that he
59:48you talked about does that ring a bell
59:50to you yeah that's the goof and then he

1:01:09so when you knocked the knife out of his

1:03:15I would come out of the garage and look

1:03:20and she asked me I think at one point is
1:03:24he still in the house I said yes he's on
1:03:26the house and all that kind of stuff and
1:03:28then
1:03:29because I told her I'd shot him and then
1:03:31she said
1:03:37I want to say she said and see
1:03:42breathing or she probably did I think
1:03:45I'm making that up

1:03:48did you ever go back to the car or did
1:03:50you just leave the car I don't know was
1:03:52the car was running okay the car was
1:03:54still running out there okay unless they
1:03:57turned it off actually I think actually
1:04:00when the police came they turned it off

1:04:42I think she had said something or go to
1:04:44a neighbor can you go to a neighbor I
1:04:46think she said that or maybe a policeman
1:04:47said that I'm not sure but I know
1:04:49lady next door just called to my dog the
1:04:52other day so I couldn't go there and
1:04:53nobody else was home
1:04:55I've got Citation for that so for
1:04:58working dog or dog population
1:05:04I mean she's old she's 80 something
1:05:06years old she hates dogs I get it it's
1:05:08my fault and the guy was very nice the
1:05:11park ranger he felt embarrassed because
1:05:12he's a puppy
1:05:15but but whatever so I couldn't really go
1:05:18there because she doesn't really like me
1:05:19and the other ones aren't home so I had
1:05:22nowhere to go so I didn't want to get
1:05:23too close to the door but I think she
1:05:27asked me if he's God I want to say

1:05:31door I went back a couple times to look
1:05:33because they kept telling her if he's
1:05:34there I think I might have said he's
1:05:35laying on the floor because I could see
1:05:37him still laying there because he's
1:05:38right in front of my bedroom door and
1:05:40the garage door because I go right into
1:05:41each other and he was laying right there
1:05:43so I kept Sam he was still laying there
1:05:47so I kept going out there and Casey got
1:05:49up and had it run but just waiting for
1:05:51the police and she just had me on the
1:05:53phone until you guys got there
1:05:55and then she said hang up

1:15:55and still it didn't click with me I was
1:15:57just worried about getting out of there

1:16:10talking a second for like what the hell

1:16:43beneficiary and I was paid out 150
1:16:48000 okay and I still have that 150 000
1:16:51and
1:16:52that's known to people that I still have
1:16:54the 150 000 because
1:16:58broadcasted that because at one point
1:17:01when I was talking to prosecutors up in
1:17:03Lincoln County she kept going do you
1:17:05have that money can I see your account
1:17:06you know whatever and
1:17:08I just brought it up to her and cash and
1:17:10gave it to her and
1:17:12so when I was at trial for it you I'm
1:17:16sorry to interrupt you
1:17:18that was the judge asking for that or
1:17:20the prosecutor prosecuted she was asking
1:17:22to see if I still had this because do
1:17:24you still have them like I said yeah and
1:17:25she goes well can you show me that you
1:17:26still haven't okay and I did and I
1:17:29brought up a bag and I gave it to her
1:17:31and I had cash on it and then when I was
1:17:35at the trial with the girls for the
1:17:36month so you took the money up in a bag
1:17:38yeah
1:17:40you couldn't just bring her a bankruptcy
1:17:41I didn't have a bankruptcy okay no you
1:17:44have it okay okay at that time all right
1:17:46at that time
1:17:48but now it's time to get back yeah but
1:17:51um it was but um
1:17:55I have to remember again I did have
1:17:57brain injury so a lot of stuff that
1:17:59makes sense to me this makes I know

1:18:07went to trial the girls tried to sue me
1:18:08for the money though they've never been
1:18:10beneficiary Russ was the beneficiary

1:18:13and um they lost
1:18:15okay but at the trial rest was there so
1:18:19he knew was this after when was this in
1:18:22relation to his just happened in January
1:18:24he just got out so he had he had just
1:18:27been released when you went back to
1:18:29trial for the daughters okay so he knew
1:18:33the cash story and he knew because he
1:18:36was sitting behind us at the trial that
1:18:39I still had the money okay
1:18:42and
1:18:45right after uh after that
1:18:50um the place I don't think he knows this
1:18:52but the place where I had my hair done
1:18:55um
1:18:57him and his cousin went there and
1:19:00confronted a hairdresser there is this
1:19:02little film yeah and the police were
1:19:04called and everybody yeah and because
1:19:08somebody wrote something on Facebook
1:19:10that's how violent he is and they came
1:19:13and were screaming at this poor girl
1:19:15because they didn't like what she wrote
1:19:17and I know there was a gun involved with
1:19:20the owner that everybody was getting
1:19:21that worked up and stuff the police were
1:19:23called I don't know what happened to it
1:19:25I do know that
1:19:28um
1:19:29talking to the prosecutor and stuff at
1:19:32St Charles or limping okay
1:19:35um
1:19:36channel two Fox News Chris Hayes was
1:19:38notified and decided to suppress that
1:19:41story because he didn't want to out
1:19:43about him which I blame him for
1:19:46this guy has Behavior he's already had
1:19:49the one gal do this to me
1:19:51he's already confronted another one
1:19:53violently and now this so I blame him
1:19:58for suppressing them he's suppressed it
1:20:00because he's working with the defense
1:20:01lawyer when they were getting him out
1:20:03and now he's taking them on the book
1:20:05round and stuff Chris Hayes
1:20:07so I blame him for suppressing that
1:20:10because people should have known that
1:20:14should have known one specifically

1:20:37um he was there and he's just kept

1:20:47congratulations on your release I'm not
1:20:49so tall I was just being nice
1:20:52and uh he said well thanks and that was
1:20:54it and turned around walked away he had
1:20:56like his cousin let them just his cousin
1:20:59the same cousin that confronted this
1:21:01hairdresser
1:21:02so
1:21:04um
1:21:04that's the last time I've seen him or
1:21:07and that's we never really speak we just
1:21:09said that it's a nice thing it was in
1:21:11January
1:21:14sense

1:21:17that was in January that the daughters
1:21:19lost their
1:21:22case to get the money

1:25:24DNA because we want to make sure that we
1:25:27don't confuse like that we know whose
1:25:29DNA is in a house okay
1:25:31um so we were going to do that two
1:25:33um we were going to
1:25:35what else oh we need we're going to take
1:25:37photographs uh we were going to have a
1:25:39county ID come up and take photographs
1:25:42of you just showing your injuries the
1:25:44lack thereof or you know what you know
1:25:46just show in case tomorrow some bruising
1:25:48appears you know we can document the
1:25:50stages of whatever happens going forward
1:25:51okay and then three
1:25:54um and so yeah so I'm gonna get some
1:25:56forms for the consent for the DNA for a
1:25:58swab and the swab is it's like a Q-tip
1:26:00rub it inside the cheek I put it in a
1:26:02box it's either way I do one on each
1:26:04side of the cheek and then it gets to
1:26:05the lab and his DNA will be sent in the
1:26:07lab your DNA will be sent to the lab and
1:26:09then any swaps we can take from his
1:26:10vehicle from the vehicle showing that
1:26:12his DNA was on the knife those types of
1:26:14things
1:26:15um and so we just want to make sure that
1:26:16we have all that done okay

1:26:19and then what else am I missing oh the
1:26:22phone uh your phone if he has a phone on
1:26:24him uh we'll do a search warrant on his
1:26:26phone and see who he's been talking to

1:55:23plantation shutters but
1:55:26um when we were down there 11 years we
1:55:28did that and sold it moved back after my
1:55:30dad died
1:55:32couldn't handle
1:55:34so you
1:55:35you guys own your own business H2
1:55:37something now we do yeah what do you do
1:55:39we flip houses oh that's just nice
1:55:42because construction is what my husband
1:55:44does okay so you buy houses that are
1:55:47important condition or foreclosure fix
1:55:49them up in that zone
1:55:50so I mean you just do that do you ever
1:55:52buy houses and then like just rent them
1:55:54out and be landlords
1:55:58yeah is that good no
1:56:00what's the problem with that if I like
1:56:03to pay rent well yeah of course we've
1:56:05got to make them
1:56:06it's hard it was hard in Florida because
1:56:08they got the sunshine act that
1:56:10you have to go through this big lengthy
1:56:12process to get somebody removed could be
1:56:15months but the sunshine acts as if you
1:56:17have kids it's even longer okay to get
1:56:20them out and we tried so you really made
1:56:24a condo down there that we rented out
1:56:25and she really got your
1:56:28your tenants
1:56:36well not on the force anymore no brainer
1:56:40right well exactly it depends why is he
1:56:42next I know
1:56:44I don't know but uh start skating and
1:56:47then we found out that that's what they
1:56:49do and then they move in the middle of
1:56:50the night type thing which they did we
1:56:52got squatters
1:56:56I mean it can take you a few months
1:56:58especially when he was good
1:57:00very nice clean kids and
1:57:04wow not this one you know and so that
1:57:06can go on for a few months and then when
1:57:08you finally figure out oh my gosh
1:57:10it's another three months through the
1:57:12eviction period and that cost you money
1:57:14just to deal with that time and money in
1:57:16the meantime no mortgage payment right
1:57:18I understand that so we did it and we're
1:57:21like I just don't like dealing with
1:57:22people like that
1:57:24starting off at the Austin markets kind
1:57:25of coming back is it affected your
1:57:27business at all yeah
1:57:30um not so much the housing market coming
1:57:31back but
1:57:33um because there's no inventory out
1:57:36there yeah the problem is people are
1:57:38buying foreclosures
1:57:40now we'll see a influx of them losing
1:57:43them again because
1:57:45the real bad ones if you can't do it
1:57:48yourself people think oh I can do this
1:57:51but really I don't get what's in there a
1:57:52lot of them sit for a year two years
1:57:54empty which means broken pipes you don't
1:57:56know it until you're ready
1:57:58we've bought or looked at houses that
1:58:01have been halfway good and people try
1:58:03and it's just too overwhelming it's a
1:58:05lot of money
1:58:06so you know so your your husband works
1:58:09for another employer I think they had on
1:58:10the side yeah we do it outside we've
1:58:12done it since
1:58:19so if you always remember we quit in
1:58:212008 when the market fell we just quit
1:58:24because it just wasn't worth it and then
1:58:26we started back up a couple years ago
1:58:28have you always worked in that type of
1:58:30event you've always worked in that
1:58:31industry I work in insurance
1:58:34yeah well we just like to
1:58:38we've always renovated our own houses
1:58:40right so
1:58:42yeah you can do it and there's deals out
1:58:44there on something the deals aren't out
1:58:46there anyway well you understand I'm
1:58:48saying if they are no I mean like with
1:58:50the no inventory means banks are
1:58:53cranking up the prices of foreclosure

1:58:56so it doesn't make it worthwhile
1:58:59there's no free there's no
1:59:01profits be made
1:59:03no problem not fixed up like we fixing
1:59:05like we'll do a whole new house for
1:59:07people inside you know kitchens
1:59:09bathrooms
1:59:10stove refrigerator everything and
1:59:12there's just no margin anymore it's real
1:59:15hard to find one no your husband works
1:59:17in construction is that he also doing
1:59:19Carpenter type stuff there too then
1:59:21um yeah they do everything
1:59:23but when we had our own business he hand
1:59:26made plantation shutters which are the
1:59:28interior shutters
1:59:29and that was his business down there
1:59:33so he's got a workshop at home he does
1:59:34everything in
1:59:37like it sounds like a
1:59:39heat industrious fellow well he did but
1:59:42we don't have one at this house we've
1:59:43only been at this house a year okay so
1:59:45yeah now pretty much everything's in his
1:59:48truck okay you know so he locked the
1:59:50doors on his truck
1:59:52park in the garage yeah

2:03:08their problem is is when people need
2:03:10their tags they go get insurance
2:03:13you get their tags oh yeah I'm sure you
2:03:15know right yeah
2:03:16done with that got my card for that show
2:03:19or whatever
2:03:20and all we did was chase people call
2:03:22them your payments due your payment
2:03:25and I hate to say it but you know I work
2:03:28for uh
2:03:29the big chains let somebody else had
2:03:32that headache and that's why they weed
2:03:33them out

2:03:41and you had I hope she got that on film

2:04:55a shirt from just hanging hanging short
2:04:58sleeve long sleeve I don't it's on my
2:05:00summer class okay so just any any old
2:05:02shirt will do with with jeans and then
2:05:06um to make sure you step over them so
2:05:08we're probably going to want to double
2:05:09check swab the bottoms of the shoes and
2:05:11stuff like that too so if you have
2:05:13another pair of shoes that we might be
2:05:14able to take flip-flops

2:14:15course they reevalued me because I have
2:14:17to and of course I'm disabled

2:14:25because she was doing vicious stuff it's

2:14:29he should be responsible for that kind
2:14:31of stuff he wasted

2:17:55head injuring stuff and I say stuff all

2:18:12they had the media then they did the

2:18:19Marine diagnosed with I got uh TBI
2:18:22Germanic brain injury got a plate in
2:18:25magnetic surgery in my back
2:18:28and I just had a car accident with
2:18:30bleeding of the brain you see you had
2:18:32two car accidents right
2:18:34so one was earlier this year was it not
2:18:36really said yeah I just had one in April
2:18:38but I've had
2:18:39um
2:18:40I had one where I fell and hit my head
2:18:43on a filing cabinet at work
2:18:45and that messed me up I had an accident
2:18:48and that's what I they had to put a
2:18:50plate in my neck I've had a lava like
2:18:52every few years or whatever
2:18:54major when it's all like heavy related
2:18:56so
2:18:58we're glad for punishment
2:19:00well this was the first time it was
2:19:02actually bleeding
2:19:04so that's kind of scary but they got
2:19:06that stopped so but it
2:19:09makes you like marshmallow especially
2:19:11when you just I can remember it seems
2:19:15real right now and five minutes later if
2:19:17I tell you something that seems real
2:19:19you know
2:19:20it's all a form of it when I get excited
2:19:25and stuff it gets all screwed up
2:19:27but
2:19:29that's just part of it
2:19:32of a brain injury there's nothing I can
2:19:33do about that
2:19:34but otherwise apparently often it
2:19:37um no I mean I have I'm not trying to
2:19:39get too much no my bath and stuff
2:19:41because of my surgeries and stuff I have
2:19:45degenerative disc disease so I guess
2:19:48that's your bad this so they're just

2:19:56had the one surgery on it well yeah and
2:19:59I'm hoping not to get another one a tear
2:20:02here so they just gave me a big pain

2:20:53on Fridays we sit on the deck and put
2:20:55their dogging

2:21:02you know and decide we're gonna do for
2:21:04the weekend and
2:21:07sleep people around
2:21:14these people keep coming at me
2:21:21that's why when I got that money I never
2:21:23did anything with it it was like cursed
2:21:25so I don't know anything to do with it

2:21:56someone gave me two it's great it's nice
2:21:57but like I said it's not I'm still
2:22:00sitting in the bank I'm not retiring

2:22:07can't be off my house so
2:22:10but I guess to some people they want it

2:22:44know if it's greed it's

2:22:54there's one in it and I get that I get
2:22:56it but you know she had that policy for
2:22:5815 years they were never once on it

2:23:04did that and whenever and Russell was
2:23:07the last one

2:23:19relationship with her daughters or

2:23:32the one was in euthanine yeah she got
2:23:35rigged and got a settlement thirty six
2:23:37thousand dollars
2:23:41why do you think you my car as a young
2:23:43girl
2:23:45nothing no party drugs booze that kind
2:23:49of stuff they're the kind of girls that
2:23:51when my friend was dying to cancer that
2:23:54if she didn't give them what they want
2:23:56it would be nothing to say you're such a
2:23:57you know those kind of cats right

2:24:02she would have killed me right the
2:24:04second he just didn't right
2:24:07right yeah but that was common
2:24:09it just feels kind of keep that level

2:24:24a teacher and one of the I.T
2:24:26professional and it's like
2:24:28kids like that we can't keep them in
2:24:30school and one got busted for dealing in
2:24:33school with Timberland and
2:24:37it's just weird to me you know and I
2:24:39always felt bad for her
2:24:41couldn't control them
2:24:44always kicking them out they were going
2:24:46to Grandma's or scene in a dance or you
2:24:48know they couldn't
2:24:51get on track it seemed like you couldn't
2:24:53man I don't know why I don't know why
2:24:55some kids are different
2:24:57against him it's how you're raised

2:25:03little while

2:25:08why certain kids turn off the way they

2:25:13her biggest
2:25:14problem with the girls was she wanted me

2:25:51to the bread company to go pee okay and
2:25:53then she ever went inside for that
2:25:55yes I had to go in yeah
2:25:58Hobby Lobby went to Hobby Lobby didn't
2:26:01go in there either because then I looked
2:26:02you know I was getting late so I had to
2:26:04go let my dog out and then I was gonna
2:26:05go back up I'm not sure about your
2:26:07daughter sometime in there yeah because
2:26:09she's right up there
2:26:11okay did you at any point in time did
2:26:13you stop by did anybody see withdraw any
2:26:16money or go by a bank or anything like
2:26:17that this was did you go did you go to
2:26:19an ATM or that time yeah never went to
2:26:20the ATM or what's the right nothing like
2:26:22that Okay so
2:26:26girl knows me at the gas station because
2:26:28I'm there every morning but
2:26:31so I I guess what I'm just trying to
2:26:33like figure out exactly where we were in
2:26:35the timeline and basically I guess the I
2:26:37think you call 9-1-1 about 1204 I

2:26:41um if the notes are my notes are right

2:26:44um so between 9 15 and 1204 so it's just
2:26:48short of it's about two hours and 15

2:27:34past that turn around a neighborhood
2:27:37down there because I started getting
2:27:38residential came back went down by
2:27:41sondering and then because there used to
2:27:43be shops picking they're all closed up
2:27:45there was a strip mall next to the um
2:27:48drink of a cleaning place there the
2:27:51laundromat yeah the laundromat to If
2:27:54you're looking at the laundromat to the
2:27:56left there's a strip on there used to be
2:27:57a resale shop in there and I went by
2:28:00there and they're all closed down now
2:28:01and um
2:28:04and went to up and down a couple of
2:28:05streets so I drove around there looking
2:28:07all around the old old O'Fallon came
2:28:09back out went down to I think it was on
2:28:13I think I came back out on Brian maybe I
2:28:15was on K I don't know but I hit Mexico
2:28:18so I went down Mexico and I went down a
2:28:21couple streets looking down there like
2:28:23where
2:28:24um
2:28:25Fried Chicken Coop places oh I had gone
2:28:28to the right on
2:28:29um
2:28:31Mid Rivers because there's a good will
2:28:34there and stuff like that and I thought
2:28:36well maybe there's some shops down there
2:28:38so I went and looked in there and to the
2:28:40right where Schnucks is just looking for
2:28:42shots came back around and I was um
2:28:45just went down I think at that point I
2:28:47went down by the mall that way did you
2:28:50like any internet searches on your phone
2:28:51for thrift stores or anything like that
2:28:53no because I want to know their names
2:28:59um
2:29:00okay so I didn't know you just like
2:29:03thrift stores or thrift stores or
2:29:05O'Fallon to see what things really don't
2:29:07do that stuff very much
2:29:09um okay so so you just sound like you
2:29:12were driving around everywhere yeah I

2:29:36other thrift stores Goodwill stuff like

2:29:50where that's at because my aunt's house
2:29:52is down the road off of Mid Rivers so I

2:29:59um while you were driving around or
2:30:00anything like that anybody called you
2:30:01did you call anybody anything like that
2:30:03nothing just drove nobody was with you
2:30:05nobody else was in a vehicle with you or
