2. 0:13he's going to talk about why he enjoys
3. 0:15owning a packard and you know everything
4. 0:17from engines to cars and
5. 0:19what what's your interest how did that
6. 0:21get started i really believe that
7. 0:22packard is really an icon of the
8. 0:25american history
9. 0:27versus any other car that was ever built
10. 0:30and i believe that packard
11. 0:32is iconic in all of its statements it's
12. 0:35made over the years i think the probably
13. 0:38one of the biggest things is that the
14. 0:40statement ask a man who owns one is
15. 0:42really true to fact
16. 0:44i think
17. 0:45packard was a leader in his time for
18. 0:48style
19. 0:49and
20. 0:50elegance
21. 0:52packard is
22. 0:54to me one of the most ultimate cars
23. 0:57depicting american history
24. 1:00rather than other cars rolls royce and
25. 1:03different cars from other countries
26. 1:06this shows the american ingenuity and
27. 1:09how
28. 1:11this type of luxury car came about
29. 1:14and then you enjoy the engine as well
30. 1:15because you've had cars built i have
31. 1:18quite a few cars i race cars and
32. 1:20everything so i think packard was a real
33. 1:22leader having the twin six and
34. 1:25the v12s and the type of engines that
35. 1:28had more horsepower than most of the
36. 1:29other cars had
37. 1:31i think they kept with that for a long
38. 1:33time and and people recognized that as
39. 1:37not only a beautiful car but a very
40. 1:38powerful car as well
41. 1:41and then a lot of people um
42. 1:43enjoy just the fact that people drive
43. 1:44the cars it's a very it's a fun social
44. 1:47aspect it's a lifestyle kind of thing it
45. 1:48is a lifestyle and i think more people
46. 1:50drive a packard
47. 1:52today uh you know for the older cars
48. 1:55that were built uh than any other car uh
49. 1:58as far as you know enjoying the car
50. 2:01itself a lot of people have a lot of
51. 2:03historic cars but i don't think they
52. 2:04ever drive them near as much as the
53. 2:06packer
54. 2:07it just goes to show
55. 2:08how reliable those cars have been for
56. 2:11many many years and for many years to
