16. 0:35also export 3 to 10 minutes video clips
17. 0:38within Opus and all of this combined
18. 0:41makes Opus clip one of the best clipping
19. 0:43tools that is currently out there so let
20. 0:45me give you an example of what you might
21. 0:47use this for I can take this 1hour
22. 0:49podcast turn it into five 10minute
23. 0:52episodes like joken also does and then
24. 0:55also for my 1hour podcast I can turn it
25. 0:57into like 30 shorts with the he of AI
26. 1:00now that entire process will take you
27. 1:03about 20 minutes to generate with opos
28. 1:06clip and that is literally insane so let
29. 1:09me show you how all of this works and
30. 1:10let me start off by showing you how you
31. 1:12can create clips from your videos if you
32. 1:14want to follow along with this tutorial
33. 1:16then make sure to click the link in the
34. 1:17description down below all we have to do
35. 1:19is drop in a video so we copy one right
36. 1:22here put it in there this can be any
37. 1:25type of file and we can click on get
38. 1:27free clips here we can select what kind
39. 1:29of style we want to have on our video so
40. 1:31choose the one that you like the most
41. 1:33for example I like this one then we can
42. 1:36select what type of Clips we want to
43. 1:38have so first I select the genre of my
44. 1:40video for me this is marketing then you
45. 1:44can select what your preferred clip
46. 1:46length is I would just keep it on auto
47. 1:48because I want to have this clip this
48. 1:49clip this clip and these kind of Clips
49. 1:52so Auto will be best for me and then all
50. 1:54we have to do is to click on this button
51. 1:56and now our Clips will be generated this
52. 1:58takes around 20 minutes luckily I've
53. 2:00already done this beforehand so let me
54. 2:02show you the clips that I've generated
55. 2:04this is the first clip and let's have a
56. 2:06quick look because let's say you edit a
57. 2:09video and it gets 1 million views but
58. 2:10there aren't proper systems set up then
59. 2:13that 1 million views means nothing to
60. 2:15them I've actually made this mistake
61. 2:17before where my so yeah that looks
62. 2:19pretty good already and let me explain
63. 2:21what we're seeing on the screen right
64. 2:23now so it automatically ranks the video
65. 2:26in terms of like the hook the flow and
66. 2:30in terms of the flow it's meaning like
67. 2:32if it is logical if it makes sense what

69. 2:36engagement and it gives you a full
70. 2:38breakdown of why it has like a a level
71. 2:41engagement on this video and then we
72. 2:43have the trend if it is trending in
73. 2:45terms of this video so that's how you
74. 2:47get a score for all of your Clips
75. 2:49honestly I wouldn't take this too
76. 2:51seriously but for me it helps to see
77. 2:53like what kind of Clips have been
78. 2:54generated and which one it thinks it's
79. 2:56the best one so now we have let me see
80. 2:59we have around 14 clips from a 16-minute
81. 3:02video so that's pretty good actually now
82. 3:05not all of the clips are that great but
83. 3:08let's actually start editing one and
84. 3:10then we can see for ourselves what it
85. 3:12looks like so now we can get started
86. 3:14with editing or clip and if you're a bit
87. 3:16overwhelmed at what you're seeing don't
88. 3:18worry I will explain to you over here on
89. 3:21the left hand side we see our transcript
90. 3:23of the video now all the words that have
91. 3:25been stried through is not included in
92. 3:28your clip if you want to have have these
93. 3:30sentences in your clip then what you
94. 3:32have to do is you click on a word where
95. 3:34you want to it to start then you say set
96. 3:37as start now I'm not going to do it
97. 3:39because I like the start of this video
98. 3:41but that's basically how the transcript

100. 3:45your transcript itself now if you want
101. 3:47to have the video cut off earlier then

106. 4:01be the end of your clip besides that you
107. 4:04can also change the framing of your clip
108. 4:07we do that by clicking on the screen and
109. 4:09here we can see we can drag it over so

111. 4:13of shot or you want to readjust it a
112. 4:15little bit then you can do that right
113. 4:17there now we also have our video split
114. 4:20up into different parts and we can also
115. 4:23trim it if we'd like to so for example
116. 4:25we can split it if we want and then this
117. 4:28way we can add custom some things on
118. 4:30there now we can design or clip and here
119. 4:33we have a few different options first of
120. 4:36all we can add stock footage or AI Clips
121. 4:39to our video now we do that by clicking
122. 4:42on generate Bolls and here we have two
123. 4:44options with stock or with AI I'm just
124. 4:48going to do it with AI to show you then
125. 4:50we toggle this on and now it will start
126. 4:52generating AI Boll for our video so here
127. 4:56on the timeline you can see we have six
128. 4:58different parts where AI Boll has been
129. 5:01added and let me actually watch this
130. 5:03clip to see what it looks like use means
131. 5:06nothing to them I've actually made this
132. 5:08mistake before where my client got so
133. 5:12sometimes you run into this issue where
134. 5:14The Boll isn't related to what you're
135. 5:16saying and here let me see what the
136. 5:18prompt is so we can see what the issue

148. 5:48keep it simple because the simpler your
149. 5:50instructions are the less amount of info

153. 6:01is writing a prompt about a guy face
154. 6:03palming um so it makes more sense so

164. 6:27they have and that one is also pretty
165. 6:30good besides adding stock footage you
166. 6:32can also change the font of your text so
167. 6:35right now I'm using this font and what
168. 6:38we can also do is we can use the emoi
169. 6:39font we can use the Ali abdal font or we
170. 6:43can use any other font that we like so
171. 6:46once you have selected a phone that
172. 6:48you'd like you can change the lines per
173. 6:50caption so you can do three lines or you
174. 6:52can keep it at one line I would suggest
175. 6:54keeping it at one line because you don't
176. 6:56want to have too much text on the screen
177. 6:58now we can add a transition if we want
178. 7:00to have that so if you turn this on then
179. 7:03you can have an transition like a bounce
180. 7:05an underline anything that you can
181. 7:07imagine you can literally do that in
182. 7:09here we can also change the position but
183. 7:12the auto placement is pretty good so for
184. 7:15example if someone jumps up on the
185. 7:17screen then it will jump up with that or
186. 7:19it will change the position for that if
187. 7:21you want to have it specific then you
188. 7:22can do it to top middle or bottom and I
189. 7:25just like to keep it on bottom because
190. 7:27that's the most usual placement for text
191. 7:30you can change the font appat all text
192. 7:32colors Shadows all of that and once
193. 7:34you're happy with your text you can just
194. 7:36simply click on Save and compile and now
195. 7:38it will save that version and then you
196. 7:40can download it now that your video has
197. 7:42rendered you can now click on download
198. 7:45so you can click download right here or
199. 7:47you can download the Adobe XML file and
200. 7:50what this will do is this will give you
201. 7:52a file that you can use in Adobe
202. 7:54Premiere where you have a different text
203. 7:57overlay and you can edit it even further
204. 8:00in there so let's say you want to add in
205. 8:02your custom Boll anything like a logo or
206. 8:05something like that you can edit that in
207. 8:07Adobe Premiere so it gives you like more
208. 8:09options to edit your Clips faster the
209. 8:12next feature that I want to show you is
210. 8:14to make longer clips from your videos
211. 8:17and actually this is very useful this is
212. 8:19something that Joe Rogan does all the
213. 8:21time so remember Joe Rogan had a deal
214. 8:24with Spotify where he was only allowed
215. 8:26to upload his full episodes on Spotify
216. 8:29and what he did was pretty amazing he
217. 8:32took like 10 minute Clips like you can
218. 8:34see right here 10 minute 3 minutes 40
219. 8:37minute clips from his podcast and he
220. 8:39uploaded those on YouTube and he's
221. 8:41actually generating a ton of money
222. 8:43from re-uploading these clips onto a
223. 8:46different platform like YouTube and you
224. 8:48can do so too so if you have a podcast
225. 8:51or even if you have for example a
226. 8:54YouTube video I did it actually with
227. 8:57this YouTube video that I have right
228. 8:58here so so what you can do is you can
229. 9:01take the link from your episode so let
230. 9:03me take one like this then we can copy
231. 9:06it and then we put it into opos clip and
232. 9:10here we have a few options so you can
233. 9:13just select like the template that you
234. 9:15like again but then if you select the 5
235. 9:17minute and the 10minute clip then you
236. 9:20get like longer Clips which you can use
237. 9:23into your YouTube channel and that way
238. 9:26you can easily repurpose your content
239. 9:28without it costing you a lot of time you
240. 9:31don't have to render out all these
241. 9:32separate Clips Ops clip will also go
242. 9:35through it for you and it will find like
243. 9:37the best 10minute Clips in that segment
