  1. 0:00You have met someone like this. They
  2. 0:02walk into a room and something in it
  3. 0:04changes. Not because they are loud. Some
  4. 0:06of them barely speak. Things just move
  5. 0:08toward them. Opportunities, people,
  6. 0:11money usually, though that is the part
  7. 0:13people notice last. There is a word for
  8. 0:15what you were standing next to.
  9. 0:17Magnetic, dangerously so. And you have
  10. 0:19probably told yourself they were lucky
  11. 0:21or born that way or that it is simply
  12. 0:24personality.
  13. 0:25It is none of those three. There is a
  14. 0:27mechanism underneath it. and almost
  15. 0:29nobody explains it. So why them and not
  16. 0:32you? You have worked harder than most of
  17. 0:34the people you know. You have been
  18. 0:36decent. You did what you were told would
  19. 0:38work. The saving, the hoping, the
  20. 0:40getting up and trying again in the
  21. 0:41morning. And somewhere along the way,
  22. 0:43you started to suspect that effort was
  23. 0:45not the thing because you have supplied
  24. 0:47plenty of effort and the shape of your
  25. 0:48life has not changed much. That
  26. 0:50suspicion is correct. And the reason is
  27. 0:53not the one you have been carrying. So
  28. 0:55here is what I am going to do over the
  29. 0:56next few minutes. First, I will show you
  30. 0:59what frequency actually is. Not the
  31. 1:01vague version you have heard a hundred
  32. 1:02times. The mechanical one in plain
  33. 1:05English with nothing you have to take on
  34. 1:07faith. Then I will give you the four
  35. 1:09steps that change it. There are only
  36. 1:11four. And the fourth is where almost
  37. 1:12everybody fails. And last, and this is
  38. 1:15the part I want you to stay for, I am
  39. 1:17going through the misconceptions. Five
  40. 1:19of them. They are the reason good people
  41. 1:21do this work for years and get nothing.
  42. 1:23And hardly anyone will say them out
  43. 1:25loud. Before any of that, one thing.
  44. 1:27[music] Nobody ever explained this to
  45. 1:29you. Not your parents, who did not know
  46. 1:31it themselves. Not school. Not the
  47. 1:33church, though the church comes closer
  48. 1:35than most. You were handed a world and
  49. 1:37told that the way to change your
  50. 1:38position in it was to work. And you did
  51. 1:40that faithfully for decades. You were
  52. 1:42not lazy. You were not doing it wrong.
  53. 1:45[sighs] You were working on the wrong
  54. 1:47part. Here is the mechanism, and I want
  55. 1:49you to picture it rather than think
  56. 1:50about it. You remember a radio with a
  57. 1:52dial, a real one, a needle sliding
  58. 1:55across a lit strip, and a knob you
  59. 1:56turned with your fingers until something
  60. 1:58came in clear. Now, every station on
  61. 2:01that strip is playing right now. All of
  62. 2:03them at the same time. The orchestra,
  63. 2:05the ball game, the preacher, the farm
  64. 2:07report. They do not take turns. They are
  65. 2:10in the room you are sitting in at this
  66. 2:11moment, passing straight through you.
  67. 2:13But you hear one. And which one you hear
  68. 2:15has nothing to do with which is
  69. 2:17strongest or which deserves it or which
  70. 2:19you would prefer. It has to do with one
  71. 2:21thing only, where the needle is sitting.
  72. 2:24Move it an eighth of an inch and the
  73. 2:26orchestra is gone and the ball game is
  74. 2:28there instead. The orchestra did not
  75. 2:30stop playing. You stopped receiving it.
  76. 2:32Your life works exactly this way. And
  77. 2:35there is one station almost everybody in
  78. 2:37this country is parked on without ever
  79. 2:38knowing its name. I will tell you what
  80. 2:40it is in a minute. The station most
  81. 2:42people are tuned to is called Not Yet.
  82. 2:45Not Yet. Not for me. Not this year.
  83. 2:48Maybe when things settle down. It plays
  84. 2:50underneath everything so constantly that
  85. 2:52you stopped hearing it as a sound a long
  86. 2:54time ago. It is just what the room
  87. 2:56sounds like. And everything in your life
  88. 2:58right now, the number in your account,
  89. 3:00the work you do, the way people speak to
  90. 3:02you is not a judgment on you. It is not
  91. 3:05punishment and it is not luck. It is
  92. 3:07reception. It is what comes through when
  93. 3:09the needle is parked there. Which means
  94. 3:11the thing you have been trying to fix
  95. 3:13was never the thing. You have been
  96. 3:15moving the furniture around a room while
  97. 3:16the radio plays the same station it has
  98. 3:18played for 40 years.
  99. 3:21Let me say one thing here then leave it
  100. 3:23alone. If you are still with me 4
  101. 3:25minutes into something like this, you
  102. 3:26are not browsing. You have been carrying
  103. 3:29something for a long while and you have
  104. 3:30tried the easy answers and they did not
  105. 3:32hold. So subscribe if you want to. Not
  106. 3:36as a kindness to me because what I just
  107. 3:38told you is one idea and one idea has
  108. 3:40never changed anybody's life. What
  109. 3:42changes a life is hearing a thing enough
  110. 3:44times that you stop arguing with it.
  111. 3:47That is all this channel is. People who
  112. 3:49heard it once and came back. That is
  113. 3:51all. Let us keep going. None of this is
  114. 3:53mine, by the way. A man named Neville
  115. 3:56Goddard was saying it in lecture halls
  116. 3:57in the 1940s and50s to rooms full of
  117. 4:00ordinary people who had come through a
  118. 4:02depression and a war and wanted to
  119. 4:04understand why their lives looked the
  120. 4:06way they did. And the line he kept
  121. 4:07returning to was this. Man moves in a
  122. 4:10world that is nothing more than his own
  123. 4:12consciousness objectified, which sounds
  124. 4:14like a great deal until you hear what it
  125. 4:16actually says. The world you are walking
  126. 4:18around in is the outside of what is
  127. 4:20going on inside you. Not a reward for
  128. 4:22it, not a response to it, the outside of
  129. 4:25it. Now, here is the part that makes the
  130. 4:27difference and it is the part people are
  131. 4:29almost never told. [music] A radio set
  132. 4:31does not only receive, it also puts
  133. 4:33something out. Whatever station you are
  134. 4:35sitting on, you are broadcasting it not
  135. 4:37in words. In how you hold your shoulders
  136. 4:39walking into a bank, in what your face
  137. 4:41does in the half second before you
  138. 4:43answer a question about money, in which
  139. 4:45opportunities you say out loud and which
  140. 4:47ones you let go past without mentioning,
  141. 4:49people read it immediately, not
  142. 4:51consciously, they just come away with a
  143. 4:53feeling about you. And the feeling is
  144. 4:55accurate because you transmitted it.
  145. 4:57Think about the person I opened with the
  146. 4:59one things move toward. They are not
  147. 5:01doing anything to anybody. They are
  148. 5:02broadcasting a station where it has
  149. 5:04already worked out and every person and
  150. 5:06every opportunity within range is
  151. 5:08responding to that signal rather than to
  152. 5:10anything they said. That is what
  153. 5:12magnetic is. It is not charm and it is
  154. 5:15not confidence. It is a transmission
  155. 5:18and it is coming off you right now
  156. 5:20whether you meant it to or not. And here
  157. 5:22is why it holds so well. It runs in a
  158. 5:25circle and the circle feeds itself.
  159. 5:28Start anywhere. Start with what you
  160. 5:30believe you are. A person who has always
  161. 5:32had to be careful. That belief produces
  162. 5:35a feeling and the feeling is not an
  163. 5:37opinion. It is physical.
  164. 5:40A tightening across the chest when the
  165. 5:41mail comes. A particular way of
  166. 5:43breathing when you open the account.
  167. 5:45That feeling decides what you do. You do
  168. 5:47not apply. You do not ask. You take the
  169. 5:50smaller thing because the bigger one
  170. 5:51felt like a reach. You say no to the
  171. 5:53dinner because of what it would cost.
  172. 5:55And you say it lightly so nobody [music]
  173. 5:57notices. And those choices produce
  174. 5:59results. modest ones, careful ones. And
  175. 6:02then this is the part that locks the
  176. 6:04door. You look at the results and you
  177. 6:05think, well, there it is. That is who I
  178. 6:08am. A person who has always had to be
  179. 6:10careful. You have just proved your own
  180. 6:12case using evidence you made yourself.
  181. 6:15Round and round for 30 years. Not
  182. 6:17because anything is wrong with you,
  183. 6:19because nobody ever told you that you
  184. 6:20were allowed to start the circle
  185. 6:22somewhere else. Which is why working
  186. 6:24harder has never shifted it. You can
  187. 6:26take the second job. You can get the
  188. 6:27raise. And four months later, the number
  189. 6:29is back where it was because something
  190. 6:31came due or something broke or it simply
  191. 6:33went in a way you cannot fully account
  192. 6:35for. [sighs and gasps] That is not bad
  193. 6:37luck arriving on a schedule. That is a
  194. 6:39station playing. You added volume. You
  195. 6:42did not change what was being played.
  196. 6:43And you cannot think your way out of it
  197. 6:45either. You can understand exactly where
  198. 6:47it came from. You can name the year it
  199. 6:49started and the person you got it from.
  200. 6:51I did that. I did it thoroughly. and the
  201. 6:53number did not move for two more years.
  202. 6:56Knowing where the needle is does not
  203. 6:57move the needle. Something has to
  204. 6:59actually turn the knob and that is a
  205. 7:01different kind of action than any you
  206. 7:02have been taking. So that is what
  207. 7:04frequency is, not a mood, not a
  208. 7:06vibration you have to hold up like a man
  209. 7:08balancing a plate on a stick. A setting,
  210. 7:11one setting which decides what comes in
  211. 7:13and what goes out and which has been
  212. 7:14sitting where it is for most of your
  213. 7:16life because nobody ever showed you the
  214. 7:18knob. In a moment I am going to show you
  215. 7:20how to move it. four steps and I will
  216. 7:22tell you now. The fourth is where almost
  217. 7:24everybody loses it, including me the
  218. 7:27first time. All right, four steps. I'll
  219. 7:29name them now so you know where we're
  220. 7:31going and then we'll take them one at a
  221. 7:32time. One, you decide who you are, not
  222. 7:36who you'd like to become. Two, you feel
  223. 7:38it before there's anything to see.
  224. 7:40Three, you make one choice today that
  225. 7:43the new version would make. And four,
  226. 7:45you hold it through the stretch where
  227. 7:46nothing's happening yet. That fourth one
  228. 7:49is where nearly everybody loses it. I'll
  229. 7:51tell you exactly what it feels like when
  230. 7:53we get there because if you can
  231. 7:54recognize it, you can survive it and
  232. 7:56most people can't. Nobody ever warned
  233. 7:58them it was coming. Step one, you
  234. 8:01decide. And I want to be careful with
  235. 8:03that word because it gets thrown around
  236. 8:04until it stops meaning anything. So, let
  237. 8:07me give you the difference between
  238. 8:08deciding and what you've actually been
  239. 8:10doing. Hoping is a request. It's
  240. 8:12addressed to somebody, the universe,
  241. 8:14God, luck, the manager, who might
  242. 8:16finally notice. [music] A request has to
  243. 8:19be received and granted by someone who
  244. 8:20isn't you, which means you've already
  245. 8:22handed the whole thing over before you
  246. 8:24finished the sentence. Deciding isn't
  247. 8:26addressed to anyone. You're not asking
  248. 8:28for a setting to be changed. You're
  249. 8:30changing it. And you've done this
  250. 8:32before, by the way. Think about how you
  251. 8:34decided you were somebody who's always
  252. 8:35had to be careful. You didn't apply for
  253. 8:37that. There was no ceremony and no
  254. 8:39particular Tuesday. At some point, it
  255. 8:42simply became what was true about you,
  256. 8:43and you've been living from inside it
  257. 8:45ever since without once checking whether
  258. 8:47it still had to be. You can do that
  259. 8:49again deliberately [music] in the other
  260. 8:51direction. It takes about 4 seconds,
  261. 8:54four words. But I'll say this before I
  262. 8:56give them to you. If you say them while
  263. 8:58you're still hoping, nothing happens at
  264. 9:00all. That's not me building it up.
  265. 9:02That's the entire difference between the
  266. 9:04people this works for and the people who
  267. 9:05tell me they tried it. Here they are. I
  268. 9:08am already living it. Let that sit for a
  269. 9:11second. I am already living it. Now look
  270. 9:14at what each piece is doing because this
  271. 9:16is built specifically to get past the
  272. 9:18thing that's killed every affirmation
  273. 9:19you've ever tried. [music] I am. Neville
  274. 9:22built his entire life's work on those
  275. 9:24two words. He said, "I am is the name of
  276. 9:27the creative power in you and that
  277. 9:29whatever you fasten to it stops being a
  278. 9:31description and becomes an assignment.
  279. 9:34You've been fastening things to it for
  280. 9:35years. I am broke. I am tired. I am the
  281. 9:39one who always goes without. You thought
  282. 9:41you were reporting the weather. You were
  283. 9:42writing the forecast already. This is
  284. 9:45the one doing the quiet work. Not soon.
  285. 9:48Not when the money comes. Not once
  286. 9:49things settle down. Already, which means
  287. 9:52there's no date in it. And a sentence
  288. 9:54with no date in it has no date to fail
  289. 9:56on. Living, not having. Having is a
  290. 9:58thing you own, and anything you own can
  291. 10:00be checked. Living is just how you're
  292. 10:03moving through a Tuesday. And nobody can
  293. 10:04audit that. Not even you. And it notice
  294. 10:08I never tell you what it is. That's
  295. 10:09deliberate. The second you name an
  296. 10:11amount, some part of you reaches for the
  297. 10:13account to see whether it's true. And
  298. 10:15that part wins every single time because
  299. 10:17it has evidence and you don't. Leave it
  300. 10:19unnamed and there's nothing to check it
  301. 10:21against. It goes straight through. Now,
  302. 10:23put it in writing, not in your head, in
  303. 10:25the comments where it's outside of you
  304. 10:27and somebody else can see it. There's a
  305. 10:29reason for that and it isn't engagement.
  306. 10:31A thought you had at 11 at night is a
  307. 10:33mood. A sentence you wrote down in
  308. 10:35public is a decision and your mind knows
  309. 10:37the difference even when you don't.
  310. 10:39Here's the format and the format matters
  311. 10:41more than you'd think. I am then your
  312. 10:43name. I am already living it. Then the
  313. 10:46life, not the amount, the life. So it
  314. 10:48reads like this. I am Carol. I am
  315. 10:51already living it. Debtree and sleeping
  316. 10:53through the night. I am Raymond. I am
  317. 10:55already living it. Working because I
  318. 10:57want to, not because I have to. I am
  319. 10:59Denise. I am already living it. able to
  320. 11:02help my daughter without checking first.
  321. 11:04Notice what those have in common. Not
  322. 11:06one of them is a number. They're all a
  323. 11:08Tuesday. A specific ordinary Tuesday
  324. 11:10inside a life where the thing has
  325. 11:12already worked out [music] because
  326. 11:13that's what you're tuning to, not a lump
  327. 11:15sum. A way of living that a lump sum
  328. 11:17would only ever be the evidence of. Go
  329. 11:20and write yours. It takes 30 seconds and
  330. 11:22it's the only part of this video that
  331. 11:24does anything by itself. And while
  332. 11:25you're down there, subscribe. Here's my
  333. 11:28reasoning, then I'll leave it alone.
  334. 11:29What you just did was turn a knob once.
  335. 11:32Once is a beginning. Once is also where
  336. 11:34most people's attempt ends because on
  337. 11:36Thursday the old station comes back in
  338. 11:38and there's nobody around to tell them
  339. 11:40that's normal and to hold their
  340. 11:41position. That's what this channel is,
  341. 11:43not inspiration. [music]
  342. 11:45Repetition. A thing said to you often
  343. 11:47enough that eventually you stop arguing
  344. 11:48with it, [music] which is the only way
  345. 11:50anybody's state has ever genuinely
  346. 11:52changed. So, if you'd rather still be
  347. 11:54holding this in a month than remembering
  348. 11:56it as a video you watched once,
  349. 11:58subscribe and let the next one find you.
  350. 12:00That's all. Back to it. Step two, you
  351. 12:03feel it before there's anything to see.
  352. 12:06This is where most people go wrong
  353. 12:07because they assume this step means
  354. 12:09visualizing, picturing the check,
  355. 12:11picturing the house, seeing the number
  356. 12:13on the screen. It isn't. And here's why.
  357. 12:16A picture is something you look at,
  358. 12:18which means you're still outside of it
  359. 12:19watching the way you'd watch it happen
  360. 12:21to somebody else. and your mind files it
  361. 12:24exactly like that as a nice thing
  362. 12:26happening over there to a person who
  363. 12:28isn't you. What changes the setting
  364. 12:30isn't the picture, it's the body. So
  365. 12:33tomorrow morning before you're properly
  366. 12:34awake while you're still soft and your
  367. 12:36guard hasn't come up yet. And that
  368. 12:38stretch between sleeping and waking is
  369. 12:40the one Neville cared about more than
  370. 12:42any other, by the way. Take about 90
  371. 12:44seconds and don't picture anything at
  372. 12:46all. Ask one question instead. How does
  373. 12:49my body sit in a life where this has
  374. 12:51already worked out? Then let your body
  375. 12:53answer because it will. The shoulders
  376. 12:55come down about half an inch. The jaw
  377. 12:57lets go and you probably didn't know you
  378. 12:59were holding it. The breath drops lower
  379. 13:01in the chest. There's a particular
  380. 13:03looseness through the stomach that you
  381. 13:05felt maybe four times in your adult
  382. 13:06life, usually on the second day of a
  383. 13:08holiday. That's the [music] state.
  384. 13:10That's the whole thing, not the house.
  385. 13:13The way a man sits in a chair on an
  386. 13:15ordinary morning when the money question
  387. 13:16has gone quiet. 90 seconds. Then get up
  388. 13:20and make the coffee. Step three, one
  389. 13:22choice today. Frequency isn't real until
  390. 13:25it moves through your hands. You can
  391. 13:26decide and you can feel it. And if
  392. 13:29nothing in your actual Tuesday changes,
  393. 13:31then you've had a pleasant morning and
  394. 13:32nothing more. But I'm not asking you to
  395. 13:34overhaul your life. And I want to be
  396. 13:36clear about that because the usual
  397. 13:38advice at this point is take massive
  398. 13:40action. And for most people, that's just
  399. 13:42a new and more exhausting way to fail by
  400. 13:44Friday. One choice today. One decision
  401. 13:48the already living it version of you
  402. 13:49would make without stopping to think
  403. 13:51about it. It'll be small. That isn't a
  404. 13:53problem. That's the point. Make the call
  405. 13:55you've been putting off because you
  406. 13:57assumed the answer was no. Ask what the
  407. 13:59rate would be instead of deciding in
  408. 14:01advance that you can't afford it. Say
  409. 14:03yes to the thing on Saturday. Put $10
  410. 14:05aside instead of the nothing you were
  411. 14:07going to put aside. Not because $10
  412. 14:09matters, but because of who puts money
  413. 14:11aside. And here's why this works. And it
  414. 14:13isn't willpower. Every one of those
  415. 14:15choices is evidence. And you're the one
  416. 14:18filing it. Your whole life, the circle
  417. 14:20has run in one direction. The belief
  418. 14:22made the feeling. The feeling made the
  419. 14:24choice. The choice made the proof.
  420. 14:26You're reaching into the middle of that
  421. 14:27and placing one piece of proof that
  422. 14:29doesn't belong to the old station. Do
  423. 14:31that today. And the circle has something
  424. 14:33in it that it cannot explain. Step four.
  425. 14:36And this is the one. I told you at the
  426. 14:38start that the fourth step is where
  427. 14:40nearly everybody loses it. So here it
  428. 14:42is. You turn the dial and the new
  429. 14:44station doesn't come in clean. There's a
  430. 14:46stretch first. Static hiss. Sometimes a
  431. 14:50few seconds of the old station bleeding
  432. 14:51back through. In radio they call that
  433. 14:53dead air. And it's exactly the right
  434. 14:56name for what happens next in your life.
  435. 14:58Because you'll do all of this. You'll
  436. 14:59decide. You'll feel it. You'll make the
  437. 15:02choice. And then Wednesday will arrive
  438. 15:04and look precisely like every Wednesday
  439. 15:06that came before it. The account will
  440. 15:07say what it said. The phone won't ring.
  441. 15:10Nothing will have visibly moved. That's
  442. 15:12the dead air. It isn't failure and it
  443. 15:14isn't a sign you did it wrong. It's the
  444. 15:16ordinary gap between a setting changing
  445. 15:18and the world catching up to the
  446. 15:20setting. But here's what people do
  447. 15:21inside it. And it's so natural you'd
  448. 15:23never catch yourself doing it. About 4
  449. 15:25days in, with nothing to show, you
  450. 15:27quietly go back. Not dramatically. You
  451. 15:30don't announce it. You just stop saying
  452. 15:32it. You start checking the account the
  453. 15:33old way. And within a week, you're on
  454. 15:35not yet again. And you've decided this
  455. 15:37doesn't work for people like you. You
  456. 15:39didn't fail at it. You turn the dial
  457. 15:41back during the static. So, here's the
  458. 15:43rule, and it's the only hard one in this
  459. 15:45video. During the dead air, you do
  460. 15:47nothing. You don't adjust. You don't try
  461. 15:50harder. You don't go hunting for a
  462. 15:52better method on somebody else's
  463. 15:53channel. You hold the setting, and you
  464. 15:55let it hiss. That's the whole of step
  465. 15:57four. Hold it while nothing is
  466. 15:59happening. So four, decide instead of
  467. 16:03hoping. Feel it in the body before
  468. 16:05there's anything to see. Make one choice
  469. 16:07today that the new version makes without
  470. 16:09thinking and hold the setting through
  471. 16:11the dead air which is coming and which
  472. 16:13means nothing. That's the method.
  473. 16:15There's nothing else to it and nothing
  474. 16:16to buy. But it still doesn't work for
  475. 16:18most people and the rest of this video
  476. 16:20is why. Right? This is the part I told
  477. 16:23you to stay for. Five things people have
  478. 16:25wrong about this. And I don't mean
  479. 16:27beginners. I mean, people who've been at
  480. 16:29this seriously for years and getting
  481. 16:30nothing and can't work out why. Every
  482. 16:33one of these is a place where the
  483. 16:34standard advice isn't just unhelpful,
  484. 16:36it's backwards. The fifth one changes
  485. 16:39how people treat you, not how you feel,
  486. 16:41how they behave around you. So stay with
  487. 16:44me to the end of this part. [music]
  488. 16:45Number one, feeling bad doesn't mean
  489. 16:47you've broken it. This stops more people
  490. 16:50than anything else, and it stops the
  491. 16:51sincere ones hardest. [music] You do the
  492. 16:5490 seconds in the morning. You hold it
  493. 16:56beautifully. And then at 2:00 in the
  494. 16:58afternoon, a letter arrives or your son
  495. 17:00calls about something and the whole
  496. 17:02thing drops out from under you. The
  497. 17:04chest goes tight. The old worry walks
  498. 17:06back in like it never left. And here's
  499. 17:08what you do next. And this is the actual
  500. 17:11mistake. You think, "Well, I've ruined
  501. 17:13it. I was at the right frequency and now
  502. 17:16I'm not. So, it's undone and I'll have
  503. 17:18to start again tomorrow." That's not
  504. 17:20what happened. Feeling something low
  505. 17:22isn't a failure of the method. It's
  506. 17:24information. It's showing you exactly
  507. 17:26where the old setting is still holding
  508. 17:27on, which is useful because now you know
  509. 17:30where it lives. Neville never taught a
  510. 17:32life with no fear in it. He taught a man
  511. 17:34who notices the fear and doesn't take it
  512. 17:36as the final word on the matter. The
  513. 17:38goal was never to feel good all day. No
  514. 17:41adult has ever managed that, and nobody
  515. 17:43with a mortgage ever will. The goal is
  516. 17:46not to live down there. There's a
  517. 17:47difference between weather passing
  518. 17:49through a house and moving into the
  519. 17:50basement. So, when the drop comes and
  520. 17:53it'll come today or tomorrow, you don't
  521. 17:55have to fix it and you don't have to
  522. 17:57pretend it isn't happening. You notice
  523. 17:59it. You name it. That's the old station
  524. 18:01still playing in the next room. And then
  525. 18:03you get on with your afternoon. Number
  526. 18:06two, and it follows straight on. Good
  527. 18:08vibes only is not a high frequency.
  528. 18:11There's an enormous amount of advice out
  529. 18:12there telling you to stay positive. Keep
  530. 18:15your energy up. Don't let anything in.
  531. 18:17Smile. I understand why that's
  532. 18:19appealing. It also doesn't work. And
  533. 18:21there's a mechanical reason. Remember
  534. 18:23what we said in the first part. You're
  535. 18:25broadcasting whatever you're actually
  536. 18:26sitting on, not what you're displaying,
  537. 18:29what you're sitting on. So, if you're
  538. 18:31smiling at the church social while
  539. 18:32underneath you're running the numbers on
  540. 18:34Tuesday's bill, the smile isn't what's
  541. 18:36going out. The arithmetic is. Every
  542. 18:38person in that room is picking up the
  543. 18:40arithmetic, and not one of them could
  544. 18:42tell you how they know, but they come
  545. 18:44away certain that something's wrong.
  546. 18:46Suppressing a thing doesn't change your
  547. 18:47frequency. It puts a lid on it and
  548. 18:49leaves the frequency exactly where it
  549. 18:51was, broadcasting from under the lid.
  550. 18:54What actually works is slower and a good
  551. 18:56deal less flattering. You let the thing
  552. 18:58be there. You feel it without building a
  553. 19:00story on top of it. And the story is the
  554. 19:03dangerous part, not the feeling. The
  555. 19:05feeling lasts about 20 seconds. The
  556. 19:07story lasts 3 hours. Then you choose
  557. 19:10from a place where you've admitted
  558. 19:12what's true. That's a high frequency,
  559. 19:14not cheerfulness, honesty followed by a
  560. 19:17decision. A man who can say out loud
  561. 19:19that he's frightened and then set the
  562. 19:21setting anyway is broadcasting something
  563. 19:23far stronger than a man performing
  564. 19:25contentment with his jaw clenched. Let
  565. 19:27me stop here a moment because this is a
  566. 19:28good place to do something small. Go
  567. 19:30down to the comments and find somebody
  568. 19:32else's, not to agree with it, to read
  569. 19:34one properly. Somebody has written down
  570. 19:37the life they're reaching for in public
  571. 19:39under their own name on a Saturday. And
  572. 19:41most of them have nobody at all who
  573. 19:43knows they did it. They haven't told
  574. 19:45their husband. They haven't told their
  575. 19:46daughter. They typed it to strangers
  576. 19:48because strangers felt safer. Find one
  577. 19:50whose life sounds like it might be near
  578. 19:52yours and write them a line back. It
  579. 19:54doesn't have to be clever. That's a good
  580. 19:56one. I hope you get it. I'm doing this,
  581. 19:58too. And I'll tell you why that matters.
  582. 20:00Because it isn't what you'd assume.
  583. 20:02You've spent this whole video learning
  584. 20:04that your state decides what comes back
  585. 20:06to you. The fastest way to change a
  586. 20:08state quicker than 90 seconds in the
  587. 20:10morning, quicker than anything else I've
  588. 20:12given you, is to be for about 10 seconds
  589. 20:14the kind of person who encourages
  590. 20:16somebody who's struggling. You can't do
  591. 20:18that from inside scarcity. It simply
  592. 20:20isn't available down there. So, doing it
  593. 20:22pulls you up deliberately, and the
  594. 20:24person you did it for gets the first
  595. 20:26encouragement they've had in a year.
  596. 20:28Both of you move. That's the whole
  597. 20:30reason. Go on, I'll wait. Number three,
  598. 20:33wanting it that badly is part of what's
  599. 20:35keeping it away. This one stings because
  600. 20:37wanting it badly feels like commitment.
  601. 20:40It feels like you care more than the
  602. 20:41people who aren't trying. But think
  603. 20:43about what wanting actually broadcasts.
  604. 20:45[music] Want is a statement about
  605. 20:47absence. Every time you want something
  606. 20:49with real intensity, the honest
  607. 20:51translation of what you're transmitting
  608. 20:53is, I do not have this. And the setting
  609. 20:56obliges. It isn't punishing you. It's
  610. 20:59reading what you sent and returning the
  611. 21:00matching station, which is more wanting.
  612. 21:03You already know this from everywhere
  613. 21:04else in your life. Think of a man who
  614. 21:06needs the job so badly it's coming off
  615. 21:09him in the interview. Everyone in that
  616. 21:10room feels it and it makes them uneasy
  617. 21:13and he doesn't get it. Not because he
  618. 21:15isn't good, because need is loud and
  619. 21:17it's unattractive and it overrides every
  620. 21:20sensible thing he said. Now, think of
  621. 21:22the other one. The person who'd be glad
  622. 21:24to have it and would also be perfectly
  623. 21:26all right without it. They get offered
  624. 21:28things constantly and from the outside
  625. 21:30it looks like luck. It isn't luck. It's
  626. 21:33the absence of need in the signal. Which
  627. 21:35is exactly why the sentence is what it
  628. 21:37is. I am already living it. Not I want
  629. 21:40it. Not I'm working toward it. Already.
  630. 21:44Because already has no wanting in it.
  631. 21:46There is nothing in those four words
  632. 21:48that admits an absence. And that's
  633. 21:50precisely what lets them through. Stop
  634. 21:52reaching for it and start sitting in it.
  635. 21:54That's the whole shift. Number four, you
  636. 21:57can't do this sitting still. And I want
  637. 22:00to be very plain here because this is
  638. 22:02where the whole subject gets a bad name
  639. 22:04and deservedly. You cannot think your
  640. 22:06way into a different life while living
  641. 22:08exactly the same one. You can hold the
  642. 22:10state perfectly at 7 in the morning. And
  643. 22:12if your Tuesday is identical to every
  644. 22:14Tuesday that came before it, the state
  645. 22:16has nowhere to land. The setting changes
  646. 22:19what you notice and what you're willing
  647. 22:20to do. But something still has to be
  648. 22:23done. Here's what it actually looks like
  649. 22:25when it's working. You hold the state
  650. 22:27and then something small and slightly
  651. 22:29odd shows up. A message from somebody
  652. 22:31you haven't spoken to in 2 years. A name
  653. 22:34mentioned in a conversation that wasn't
  654. 22:36about work. A price that comes in lower
  655. 22:38than you'd braced for. It's always
  656. 22:40small. It's always deniable. And your
  657. 22:43job is to move on it. Reply to the
  658. 22:45message. Follow the name up. Ask the
  659. 22:47question. That's what step three was
  660. 22:49for. One choice a day, not a
  661. 22:52transformation. a door you walk through
  662. 22:54instead of noticing and letting it
  663. 22:56close. The people who get results from
  664. 22:58this aren't sitting in a chair with
  665. 22:59their eyes shut hoping. They're the ones
  666. 23:02who held the setting and then answered
  667. 23:03the phone. And number five, the one I
  668. 23:06told you to wait for. It isn't other
  669. 23:08people's energy holding you back. You'll
  670. 23:10hear a great deal about this. Protect
  671. 23:12your field. Cut out the low vibration
  672. 23:14people. Be careful who you let near you.
  673. 23:17And there's something in it. Who you
  674. 23:18spend your evenings with matters. But if
  675. 23:21your state depends on everybody around
  676. 23:22you behaving well, then it isn't your
  677. 23:24state. You've handed the dial to a
  678. 23:26committee. And here's where this ends
  679. 23:28up, which is the best part of the whole
  680. 23:30thing. Once you can hold a setting,
  681. 23:32regardless of the room, not by avoiding
  682. 23:34difficult people, but by being genuinely
  683. 23:36unbothered by them, something turns
  684. 23:38around. You stop being the one who gets
  685. 23:40influenced. You become the one doing the
  686. 23:43influencing. You walk into your
  687. 23:45daughter's kitchen in the middle of an
  688. 23:46argument, and it settles, and nobody
  689. 23:48could tell you why. You sit down across
  690. 23:50from somebody who's been dreading the
  691. 23:52conversation and they relax without
  692. 23:54deciding to. That's what magnetic
  693. 23:56actually means. Not that things come to
  694. 23:58you. That the room moves toward wherever
  695. 24:01you're already standing. One more thing,
  696. 24:02[music]
  697. 24:03and it's new. I open memberships on this
  698. 24:05channel this month. Here's why. I read
  699. 24:08every comment, and the people writing
  700. 24:10them are not who you'd assume. Not
  701. 24:12naive, not lazy. There are people who've
  702. 24:15held a household together on a number
  703. 24:16that should never have held one and who
  704. 24:18never said it out loud to anybody until
  705. 24:20they typed it under a video. You might
  706. 24:22have done that tonight. Whatever you
  707. 24:24think of yourself right now, that took
  708. 24:26something. And it isn't for everybody.
  709. 24:28It's for the ones who've already
  710. 24:29decided. Not hoping, decided. What it
  711. 24:33actually is is the dead air. That's the
  712. 24:36stretch I told you about in step four,
  713. 24:38the week where you've turned the dial
  714. 24:39and nothing's come in yet. And every
  715. 24:41instinct you have is telling you to turn
  716. 24:43it back. Almost nobody holds that alone.
  717. 24:46That's the entire reason the room
  718. 24:47exists. In there, I know your name
  719. 24:50instead of a username. I watch your
  720. 24:51first few weeks. Your question gets
  721. 24:53answered first, not eventually. It's
  722. 24:55less than a Starbucks coffee and the
  723. 24:57coffee's gone by 11. Don't if money's
  724. 25:00tight. I mean that. But if you've
  725. 25:02already decided, come in. I'd like to
  726. 25:04watch this happen for you. [snorts]
  727. 25:06All right, let me put the whole thing
  728. 25:08together so you can hold it tonight
  729. 25:10without coming back to rewind. One,
  730. 25:13every station is playing right now in
  731. 25:15the room you're sitting in. Which one
  732. 25:17you hear has nothing to do with which
  733. 25:18deserves it. It has to do with where the
  734. 25:20needle is sitting and yours has been
  735. 25:22parked on not yet for most of your life
  736. 25:24because nobody showed you there was a
  737. 25:26knob. Two, you're not only receiving,
  738. 25:29you're broadcasting. People read it
  739. 25:31before you speak and everything within
  740. 25:33range is responding to that signal
  741. 25:35rather than to anything you said. Three,
  742. 25:38four steps. Decide instead of hoping.
  743. 25:41Feel it in the body before there's
  744. 25:42anything to see. Make one choice today
  745. 25:45the new version makes without thinking
  746. 25:47and hold it through the dead air. Four,
  747. 25:50the sentence is I am already living it.
  748. 25:53It works because there's no date in it
  749. 25:54and no amount in it. So there's nothing
  750. 25:56for any part of you to check it against.
  751. 25:59Five, feeling bad hasn't broken it.
  752. 26:02Pretending isn't a high frequency.
  753. 26:04Wanting it that badly is keeping it
  754. 26:05away. And none of this works sitting
  755. 26:07still. Six. [music] And when you can
  756. 26:10hold the setting in any room at all, you
  757. 26:12stop being the one who gets influenced.
  758. 26:14The room starts moving toward you.
  759. 26:16That's all of it. There's nothing else
  760. 26:17to learn and nothing to buy before
  761. 26:19tonight. If you haven't written yours
  762. 26:21yet, write it now. Your name, the
  763. 26:24sentence, and the life. Not the amount,
  764. 26:26the life. Then find somebody else's and
  765. 26:28tell them you hope they get it because
  766. 26:30it costs you 10 seconds and it's the
  767. 26:32fastest way to move your own state that
  768. 26:34I know of. Then come back in a week and
  769. 26:36tell us what showed up. even if it's
  770. 26:38small, especially if it's small, because
  771. 26:41small is honestly what the first week
  772. 26:43looks like and nobody ever posts that
  773. 26:45part, which is exactly why somebody down
  774. 26:47there needs to read yours. And subscribe
  775. 26:49if you haven't, not as a favor to me,
  776. 26:52because a setting held once is a nice
  777. 26:54evening, and a setting held for a month
  778. 26:56is a different life. And the difference
  779. 26:58between those two is almost entirely
  780. 27:00whether anybody was still saying it to
  781. 27:01you in week three. Now, one last thing,
  782. 27:04and it's the piece I deliberately left
  783. 27:06out. Everything in this video happens
  784. 27:08while you're awake. You decide. You feel
  785. 27:11it. You hold the setting through the
  786. 27:12static, but there's a window that opens
  787. 27:14once every 24 hours, and it's stronger
  788. 27:17than anything daylight has to offer, and
  789. 27:19almost nobody uses it. Worse than that,
  790. 27:22most people run it perfectly every
  791. 27:24single night, pointed in exactly the
  792. 27:26wrong direction. It's the few minutes
  793. 27:28before you fall asleep. The part of you
  794. 27:30that argues has already clocked off, and
  795. 27:33whatever you're holding when you go
  796. 27:34under goes in without resistance. Of
  797. 27:36everything Neville taught across 40
  798. 27:38years, that window is the one he came
  799. 27:40back to hardest. [music] Nothing in the
  800. 27:42whole body of work moves faster. It's on
  801. 27:45your screen now. Click it before you go
  802. 27:46to bed tonight and you'll be running
  803. 27:48both at once. I'll see you over there.
