  1. 0:00Imagine I take a thin metal plate and
  2. 0:02scatter sand across it. And then I take
  3. 0:04sound waves and I point them towards the
  4. 0:06sand. The sand begins to dance across
  5. 0:07[music] the plate organizing itself into
  6. 0:09some of the most amazing geometric
  7. 0:11shapes that you've ever seen. And then I
  8. 0:13change the frequency of the sound and
  9. 0:15the sand reorganizes into an entirely
  10. 0:17new complex pattern. Now, here's the
  11. 0:20question. If an invisible sound wave can
  12. 0:22shape physical matter like sand, is it
  13. 0:25possible that the material experience of
  14. 0:27what you call reality is also being
  15. 0:29shaped and formed by an invisible
  16. 0:31energetic force? I believe that question
  17. 0:33can fundamentally change your life. So,
  18. 0:34in this episode, I'm going to introduce
  19. 0:36you to the study of something pretty
  20. 0:38amazing called cymatics. How vibration
  21. 0:40organizes matter into structure and
  22. 0:42shape. You're going to discover how your
  23. 0:44inner state may be shaping your reality
  24. 0:46and I'm going to give you a practical
  25. 0:47way to interrupt a pattern that has been
  26. 0:49holding some problem or challenge in
  27. 0:51place so that you can transform it into
  28. 0:53a reality that reflects back what you
  29. 0:55actually want. So, let's get into it.
  30. 1:00All right, guys. I want to explain
  31. 1:01something really extraordinary called
  32. 1:03cymatics. Now, cymatics is the study of
  33. 1:06how vibration produces visible patterns
  34. 1:08in physical materials. And the classic
  35. 1:11example is the one that I described. You
  36. 1:12put sand on a plate and you make the
  37. 1:14plate vibrate and the sand moves and
  38. 1:16depending upon the type of frequency,
  39. 1:19the sand organizes into really complex
  40. 1:21mandala-like geometric shapes. One of
  41. 1:24the early pioneers of cymatics was a man
  42. 1:26named Ernst Chladni and he used a violin
  43. 1:28bow to make metal plates vibrate and he
  44. 1:31showed people the patterns that appeared
  45. 1:32in the sand. And this was centuries ago,
  46. 1:35but you can imagine how shocking this
  47. 1:36would be to somebody witnessing this.
  48. 1:38Invisible forces like sound shaping the
  49. 1:40physical world. In the 20th century, a
  50. 1:43man named Hans Jenny documented all
  51. 1:45kinds of these phenomena using sand and
  52. 1:47powders and paste and liquid. Jenny was
  53. 1:50the one who coined the term cymatics.
  54. 1:53And then this guy, Masaru Emoto, you may
  55. 1:55have heard of him. He took cymatics to
  56. 1:57another level. Emoto and his team put
  57. 1:59water into separate jars and put labels
  58. 2:01on the bottles with words or phrases
  59. 2:03like thank you or love and gratitude or
  60. 2:07you're an idiot. For other experiments,
  61. 2:09they played music to the water or they
  62. 2:10had people direct prayer or intention
  63. 2:12towards it. And then they took small
  64. 2:14drops from each water sample, froze
  65. 2:16them, and then they looked at the frozen
  66. 2:18drops under a microscope. And what Emoto
  67. 2:20reported finding was that the drops from
  68. 2:22the jars that had labels like thank you
  69. 2:24or love and gratitude
  70. 2:25produced photographs of really complex,
  71. 2:28orderly, beautiful, geometrically
  72. 2:30patterned crystals. And water that had
  73. 2:32labels with insulting phrases like you
  74. 2:34idiot were reported to produce
  75. 2:36unstructured and broken formations that
  76. 2:38had little organization and shape. Now,
  77. 2:40based on this, what Emoto claimed was
  78. 2:42that the meaning or intention presented
  79. 2:44or directed toward the water influenced
  80. 2:46its structure. And he found similar
  81. 2:48results when people prayed or sang or
  82. 2:50played music near the water. So, Chladni
  83. 2:53made sand move into beautiful patterns
  84. 2:55through vibration and sound. Emoto
  85. 2:57exposed water to words and music and
  86. 2:59intention and noticed significant
  87. 3:00differences when comparing frozen
  88. 3:02droplets. And what cymatics is showing
  89. 3:04us is that vibration can organize a
  90. 3:07particular physical material and can
  91. 3:09hold that structure as long as the
  92. 3:11vibration persists and that the quality
  93. 3:13of the vibration or the frequency
  94. 3:15determines the structure, the beauty,
  95. 3:17and the order of the material formed.
  96. 3:19So, let's translate this to something
  97. 3:21more practical. Is it possible that
  98. 3:24reality is like water or sand or powder?
  99. 3:28In other words, a field of potential,
  100. 3:30and that you can influence that energy
  101. 3:32or that potential into different shapes
  102. 3:35and structures that materialize. And
  103. 3:37that as long as you maintain your
  104. 3:39influence, the structure holds in place.
  105. 3:41And when you change the influence, that
  106. 3:42structure changes. Now, this is very
  107. 3:44much in alignment with the idea that you
  108. 3:46create your reality. The question would
  109. 3:48be, what is the influence that you're
  110. 3:50generating on your reality that is
  111. 3:52forming it into a physical structure.
  112. 3:54And the answer that seems obvious to
  113. 3:56someone exploring this idea is that it
  114. 3:58is your energy. Because you are the
  115. 4:01source of a significant amount of
  116. 4:02energetic output. I want you to think
  117. 4:04about this.
  118. 4:05You have thousands of thoughts every
  119. 4:07single day.
  120. 4:08Those thoughts trigger hundreds, if not
  121. 4:10thousands, of emotions every single day.
  122. 4:12And each of those thoughts and each of
  123. 4:14those emotions are electrical impulses
  124. 4:16and broadcasts that are taking place
  125. 4:18from the neural networks in your brain
  126. 4:19and from your nervous system. It's like
  127. 4:21a symphony every moment of every day of
  128. 4:24trillions of neurons playing a wide
  129. 4:26variety of frequencies. Add to that that
  130. 4:28the average person speaks something like
  131. 4:3012,000 to 16,000 words in a day, and all
  132. 4:32of that is frequency. And the suggestion
  133. 4:35is that all of this frequency is
  134. 4:37interacting with what you might call the
  135. 4:38field, or the Hindus referred to it as
  136. 4:40the akasha, or in new age it's referred
  137. 4:43to as the fourth dimension or the ether
  138. 4:45or source energy. And that field is
  139. 4:47organizing into this thing that we call
  140. 4:49reality.
  141. 4:51So, you are the violinist, and you are
  142. 4:53holding a pattern in place vis-a-vis
  143. 4:56your personal symphony, and that pattern
  144. 4:58is called your life. And I want you to
  145. 5:00think for a moment about the tune that
  146. 5:02you're playing. The labels that you are
  147. 5:04putting on the jar, right? Are they
  148. 5:06positive labels or negative labels?
  149. 5:08How often are you beating yourself up or
  150. 5:11criticizing yourself or saying things
  151. 5:13like, "I'm not as far along as I should
  152. 5:15be." or "Money is hard to make." or
  153. 5:17"Nobody helps me."
  154. 5:19What are the words that you're saying
  155. 5:20out loud? How often do you complain or
  156. 5:23criticize others? And I'm not saying
  157. 5:25you're wrong for thinking or feeling or
  158. 5:27speaking the way you do, but what I'm
  159. 5:28saying is that we need to understand
  160. 5:30that these are the labels that we are
  161. 5:33putting on the jar.
  162. 5:34And that is why the ancients and the
  163. 5:36sages and the scriptures, they all speak
  164. 5:38to this concept that you need to watch
  165. 5:40what you think and what you say. Death
  166. 5:42and life are in the power of the tongue.
  167. 5:44Be not conformed to this world, but be
  168. 5:46transformed by the renewing of what?
  169. 5:48Your mind.
  170. 5:50This is where I think some of the
  171. 5:51spiritual teachings become really
  172. 5:52interesting. Maybe you've heard of the
  173. 5:54law of attraction or the law of
  174. 5:55vibration or the law of correspondence
  175. 5:57or the mirror principle. These aren't
  176. 5:58identical concepts, but they're all
  177. 6:00pointing us toward a relationship
  178. 6:01between what's going on within us and
  179. 6:04what we experience in the world around
  180. 6:06us.
  181. 6:07Now, one of the distinctions that I
  182. 6:08teach is called the two states of being.
  183. 6:10Essentially, we only operate in one of
  184. 6:12two states, either a powerful state or
  185. 6:14primal state. You're always in one state
  186. 6:17of being or the other and you're never
  187. 6:18in two states of being at the same time.
  188. 6:21A primal state is where we're operating
  189. 6:23from limiting beliefs and negative
  190. 6:24emotions. Emotions like stress or
  191. 6:27anxiety, shame, resentment, and guilt
  192. 6:31that might be generated by thoughts
  193. 6:33like, "I'm not enough." or "I'm behind."
  194. 6:36"This is never going to work out." or
  195. 6:38"Nobody cares about me." Right? In fact,
  196. 6:41what's interesting is that the only
  197. 6:42thing that moves you into a primal state
  198. 6:45are the thoughts themselves. In other
  199. 6:47words, it's not the amount of money in
  200. 6:48your bank account, it's not how far
  201. 6:50along you are on a project or in your
  202. 6:51life, it's not the circumstance or
  203. 6:52situation that is making you feel a
  204. 6:55particular way. Your thoughts are the
  205. 6:57only contributors to the way that you
  206. 6:58feel. Like the only thing causing you to
  207. 7:00feel that way is what you're thinking,
  208. 7:02not the experience that you're having.
  209. 7:05And when you're in that state, that
  210. 7:07means you've slapped a negative label on
  211. 7:09your jar. And so, what's happening in
  212. 7:11that moment is that you are inviting
  213. 7:13reality to organize or crystallize into
  214. 7:16experiences, circumstances, and
  215. 7:18situations that are going to be broken
  216. 7:20or disorderly or undesirable.
  217. 7:24A powerful state is when you feel
  218. 7:26something like joy or excitement or
  219. 7:28peace or curiosity. In that state, you
  220. 7:31think thoughts that feel good. Like,
  221. 7:33"This is going to work out." or "Life is
  222. 7:34abundant." or "It feels good to have
  223. 7:36support." or "I'm grateful for the way
  224. 7:38things are." Those are the labels you're
  225. 7:40putting on your jar from a powerful
  226. 7:42state and therefore life begins to
  227. 7:43organize in ways that reflect those
  228. 7:46thoughts and emotions back to you.
  229. 7:48Again, this is sometimes why this
  230. 7:50phenomenon is described as the law of
  231. 7:51attraction or the law of correspondence
  232. 7:53because life corresponds to your
  233. 7:55predominant habit of vibration, which is
  234. 7:58your habit of belief and habit of
  235. 7:59thought and habit of feeling and the
  236. 8:01words that you speak. So, let me share a
  237. 8:02personal example. There are plenty of
  238. 8:04times when I'm working on something that
  239. 8:06matters enormously to me and I can feel
  240. 8:09the pressure to get it exactly right. In
  241. 8:11fact, that was happening to me just this
  242. 8:12morning. My mind starts saying, "If I
  243. 8:14don't figure this out quickly, I'm going
  244. 8:16to run out of time." or "If I make the
  245. 8:18wrong decision, this whole thing might
  246. 8:19not work." And when I'm in that state, I
  247. 8:22may think I'm being responsible, but if
  248. 8:24I look closely, I can actually see the
  249. 8:25effects. I feel more urgency. I have
  250. 8:28less patience. I have less presence. I
  251. 8:31can put pressure on the people around me
  252. 8:34when what we really need is peace or
  253. 8:37calm or room to think or space to let
  254. 8:40new perspectives or ideas drop in.
  255. 8:43So, I have to notice when I move into a
  256. 8:46primal state and say, "Okay, what is the
  257. 8:48thought or belief that is creating this
  258. 8:50feeling for me? Like, what label did I
  259. 8:52just slap on the jar?"
  260. 8:54Because a primal state is not going to
  261. 8:56help me to be creative and successful,
  262. 8:58right? That's not the energy that is
  263. 9:00going to attract help or synchronicity
  264. 9:02or resources.
  265. 9:03The water of life is going to reflect
  266. 9:06back to me whatever label I'm putting on
  267. 9:08the jar.
  268. 9:09But, the good news is that I have the
  269. 9:11pen in hand. I get to choose what label
  270. 9:13I give myself for my life or my reality
  271. 9:15and through the power of frequency, I
  272. 9:18can change my reality, right? That's the
  273. 9:20implication of cymatics.
  274. 9:22Now, let's take this a step further.
  275. 9:24Remember, Emoto was showing how water as
  276. 9:26a medium is responsive to words or to
  277. 9:28thoughts or to prayers. What's
  278. 9:30interesting is our bodies are 60% water,
  279. 9:33right? Your lungs are 83% water. Your
  280. 9:34brain and heart 73%. Muscles and kidneys
  281. 9:3779% your water and skin 64% water. So
  282. 9:42water is the medium that runs through
  283. 9:44your entire body and what Emoto suggests
  284. 9:46is that water responds to vibration. It
  285. 9:49responds in orderly structured beautiful
  286. 9:51ways to positive thoughts and words.
  287. 9:54It becomes unstructured broken and ugly
  288. 9:56when exposed to negative thoughts and
  289. 9:58words. In other words, the labels or
  290. 10:00beliefs that you're holding aren't just
  291. 10:02shaping your external world, they're
  292. 10:04actually influencing the structure of
  293. 10:06the water in your body. So it's worth
  294. 10:08asking what message am I sending to my
  295. 10:11cells? Nokia University came out with
  296. 10:14some groundbreaking research in 2025
  297. 10:16that demonstrated that sound waves can
  298. 10:19influence cellular behavior and gene
  299. 10:21expression. They found that acoustic
  300. 10:23vibrations activated nearly 190 sound
  301. 10:27sensitive genes. And this concept, which
  302. 10:30I'm not making up, is called cellular
  303. 10:32hearing. And when you look at how much
  304. 10:35stress modern society is processing, the
  305. 10:38limiting beliefs, the unprocessed
  306. 10:40traumas, the anxiety, the depression,
  307. 10:42the danger, the anger,
  308. 10:44it doesn't take a leap of faith to
  309. 10:46imagine that maybe, just maybe, the
  310. 10:47water in our body is responding to the
  311. 10:49label that we're slapping on it.
  312. 10:52You know, recently I was speaking at an
  313. 10:53event with about 150 entrepreneurs and I
  314. 10:55asked, "How many of them were dealing
  315. 10:57with some form of chronic pain or
  316. 10:59fibromyalgia or skin issues, digestive
  317. 11:01issues, back issues, autoimmune
  318. 11:04conditions, something that was affecting
  319. 11:05their day-to-day experience?" And about
  320. 11:0780 to 85% of the hands went up in the
  321. 11:09room and it brought up an awareness of
  322. 11:12how we tend to speak to our bodies when
  323. 11:14we don't feel good. Like what happens
  324. 11:16when you wake up in pain again after
  325. 11:19hoping today would be different or you
  326. 11:21see something on your skin that worries
  327. 11:23you or you're exhausted and you can't do
  328. 11:25what you had planned. Because most
  329. 11:27people feel frustrated and then they get
  330. 11:30angry. And after a little while, there's
  331. 11:32this feeling that your body is your
  332. 11:34enemy, and you get locked into this
  333. 11:36label that perpetuates the very thing
  334. 11:39that you're wanting to change. And I
  335. 11:41want to say this carefully because I
  336. 11:42know what it's like to be dealing with
  337. 11:43health issues and to have somebody imply
  338. 11:46that you caused them by thinking the
  339. 11:48wrong way, the physical condition is
  340. 11:50real, and at the same time, if we're
  341. 11:52living as if we're in a daily battle
  342. 11:54with our body, that battle becomes
  343. 11:56another label that is shaping our
  344. 11:57reality. And it's the same thing with
  345. 11:59your job or your business or your
  346. 12:02relationship. Are you directing loving
  347. 12:04phrases towards those things or are you
  348. 12:06arguing with them because they're not
  349. 12:08necessarily working the way that you
  350. 12:10want them to? And I'm not asking you to
  351. 12:12judge yourself for being angry. Of
  352. 12:13course, you may be angry. I'm asking
  353. 12:15whether that anger is the only
  354. 12:17relationship available. Because there's
  355. 12:20an opportunity to become aware of the
  356. 12:21label that you've put on something and
  357. 12:23to consider changing the label. And I
  358. 12:25can tell you from my own experience of
  359. 12:27being single and feeling alone for 10
  360. 12:29years and having two homes in
  361. 12:31foreclosure and a failed business and a
  362. 12:32bunch of credit card debt and little to
  363. 12:34no money in my name, feeling purposeless
  364. 12:37in my life, to now having more money
  365. 12:39than I ever thought possible, married to
  366. 12:41the woman of my dreams, doing something
  367. 12:43I'm passionate about on a daily basis,
  368. 12:45what changed was the label.
  369. 12:47It wasn't that I figured out some
  370. 12:49magical financial strategy or bought a
  371. 12:51bunch of cryptocurrency or built the
  372. 12:53perfect profile on a dating app or found
  373. 12:55some novel business idea because I
  374. 12:57didn't. I changed the way I looked at my
  375. 12:59current reality and my current reality
  376. 13:01changed.
  377. 13:03So, I want to do this real quick
  378. 13:04together. I want you to think of one
  379. 13:05area of your life where you feel some
  380. 13:07friction right now. It might be your
  381. 13:10work, it might be a relationship or
  382. 13:13money or your health. Something you're
  383. 13:15trying to create that feels slower or
  384. 13:17harder than you had hoped or a problem
  385. 13:18or a challenge that just doesn't seem to
  386. 13:21want to shift. I want you to complete
  387. 13:23this sentence.
  388. 13:24When I think about this thing,
  389. 13:26I worry that
  390. 13:28blank.
  391. 13:30Okay? This is a really simple way to
  392. 13:31find the thought or the charge behind it
  393. 13:33because ultimately every negative
  394. 13:34emotion comes back to some form of fear.
  395. 13:36Even when you're angry, it's because
  396. 13:38you're afraid of something.
  397. 13:39When I think about this thing,
  398. 13:42I'm worried that
  399. 13:44blank.
  400. 13:45Okay? Could be a lot of different
  401. 13:46things. Imagine it's I'm falling behind.
  402. 13:49Okay, let's use that as the example.
  403. 13:52First, we acknowledge what it is that
  404. 13:54you're thinking and feeling. Okay,
  405. 13:55there's no argument. There's no attempt
  406. 13:56to dress it up. It's I'm falling behind
  407. 13:59is the belief or the thought that we've
  408. 14:00found. It's moving us into a primal
  409. 14:03state. Now, ask yourself this question,
  410. 14:05right? Does that move you into a
  411. 14:07powerful or primal state, right? First,
  412. 14:09take a look at that. Does that thought
  413. 14:10make you feel good or make you feel bad?
  414. 14:12Of course, it makes you feel bad cuz
  415. 14:13we've set that up for this example.
  416. 14:15So, it moves you into a primal state.
  417. 14:17Here's where we want to change the label
  418. 14:19cuz we don't want to continue that have
  419. 14:21that label on the thing or that belief.
  420. 14:23What do we want to change it to? Well,
  421. 14:25some form of the opposite.
  422. 14:26Like what's the opposite label that we
  423. 14:28would want to put on the jar that could
  424. 14:30crystallize something really beautiful
  425. 14:31for us in this area of our life, the
  426. 14:33reality that we want to create?
  427. 14:35I like to keep this real simple, so I'd
  428. 14:37say rather than I'm falling behind, it
  429. 14:38might be something like I'm right where
  430. 14:39I need to be
  431. 14:41or I'm exactly where I should be. And
  432. 14:43then ask yourself, this is the next
  433. 14:44step, the last step, one more question.
  434. 14:47You want to ask this question a few
  435. 14:48times.
  436. 14:49Okay, got it. What evidence do I have
  437. 14:51for the fact that this new thought or
  438. 14:53this new label is true? So, okay. Well,
  439. 14:56what evidence do I have for the fact
  440. 14:57that I'm right where I need to be? Well,
  441. 15:00it might be I'm in my process with this
  442. 15:02thing. I'm learning as I go along,
  443. 15:05right? Everybody and everything goes at
  444. 15:06its own pace, but I'm making some
  445. 15:07progress, right? Okay, that feels good.
  446. 15:10That's more in alignment with a powerful
  447. 15:12state. That's a better thought or a
  448. 15:13better label, isn't it? Then you ask
  449. 15:15yourself the question again. Okay, what
  450. 15:16evidence do I have for the fact that I'm
  451. 15:18right where I need to be or I'm right on
  452. 15:20track with this is true?
  453. 15:22Okay, how about Well, this is the
  454. 15:24process of learning. Like every day I'm
  455. 15:26learning more. I'm understanding how
  456. 15:28this thing works. I'm starting to build
  457. 15:30up a little momentum. Every day I'm a
  458. 15:31little further along than the last.
  459. 15:33Okay, cool. That feels more accurate,
  460. 15:35right? And it's true.
  461. 15:37And it feels better.
  462. 15:38And maybe you ask one more time, right?
  463. 15:40What evidence do I have for the fact
  464. 15:41that this new label, right? This new
  465. 15:43belief that I'm exactly where I need to
  466. 15:45be is true.
  467. 15:47And you go, "Okay, um look,
  468. 15:50uh I've been in a place like this
  469. 15:51before. In fact, I kind of always worry
  470. 15:53that I'm falling behind, but that's
  471. 15:54almost never been true. I almost always
  472. 15:56get things across the finish line. In
  473. 15:57fact, most of the time things work out
  474. 15:59pretty well for me. I feel like I'm
  475. 16:01getting close to figuring this thing
  476. 16:02out. I just need to stay consistent for
  477. 16:04a little longer." And this is the
  478. 16:06process. It's a simple but really
  479. 16:08powerful process. We call it the
  480. 16:09decision matrix. Step one is identify
  481. 16:11the limiting belief. Step two is a new
  482. 16:12decision or a new label. Step three is
  483. 16:14find evidence for the fact that the new
  484. 16:16decision is true.
  485. 16:18What's happening is you're taking an old
  486. 16:19belief, which is a memory, and you're
  487. 16:21finding an opposite belief, and you're
  488. 16:23building evidence for it. You're tapping
  489. 16:25into dormant memories that support this
  490. 16:27new empowering thought or this new
  491. 16:29belief or new decision or new label. And
  492. 16:31as you do that, you do what's called
  493. 16:33neural pruning. You start to deactivate
  494. 16:36the old belief and activate the new one.
  495. 16:38And it's something you have to practice,
  496. 16:40but after a little bit of practice, the
  497. 16:42new belief starts to become the
  498. 16:44predominant thought, and what eventually
  499. 16:45happens is that reality begins to
  500. 16:48reorganize to reflect that new belief
  501. 16:50back to you.
  502. 16:52It's like change the label on the jar,
  503. 16:54and you change the way the field of
  504. 16:55reality organizes. Now, tomorrow you may
  505. 16:58notice the old thought again. That
  506. 16:59doesn't mean you failed. It means you
  507. 17:01caught the pattern. You can make the
  508. 17:02decision again. You can take the next
  509. 17:04action from it. That's why I talk so
  510. 17:06much about practice.
  511. 17:08We don't transform ourselves by having
  512. 17:09one perfect thought. We change as we
  513. 17:11recognize what we've been repeating, and
  514. 17:14we begin repeating something different.
  515. 17:16So, I want to bring us back to the plate
  516. 17:17covered in sand. What would it be like,
  517. 17:20this is the question, to change the
  518. 17:22label to something like I am enough?
  519. 17:26To everything that happens is perfect.
  520. 17:28To life is working for my greatest
  521. 17:30growth, my greatest prosperity, or
  522. 17:31greatest evolution.
  523. 17:33What would that be like? You don't have
  524. 17:35to force a beautiful pattern into
  525. 17:36existence by tomorrow morning. I'm just
  526. 17:38inviting you into a decision matrix.
  527. 17:40Start by noticing what's there.
  528. 17:42Get curious about what you've been
  529. 17:44labeling. And then choose one new
  530. 17:46decision and see what happens when you
  531. 17:47live from that new label. That's the
  532. 17:50practice. Super simple. So,
  533. 17:52I want to give you
  534. 17:54an opportunity to get some support on
  535. 17:56this. And if you haven't yet, I know so

  541. 18:06putting on important areas of your life.
  542. 18:07And it's going to literally walk you
  543. 18:09through a decision matrix step-by-step
  544. 18:11to transform those three labels into
  545. 18:13some new belief systems. It's absolutely
  546. 18:15free and only takes you about three or
  547. 18:16four minutes. Again, the link is in the
